3 months ago Experiencia positiva: Originally a pretty good vet. However, this business is all about the money. My experience has been pushing vaccinations & unnecessary treatment. Some of the vets are young, prideful, & show little to no bedside manner. I have however had several good experiences with receptionists & vet techs. It’s a shame the practice seems to be more about the money than humanity.

3 months ago Experiencia fantástica: I tried to write a review on the pets best insurance sight but it would not save you in there. There seems to be a glitch in the sight. Maybe check that out. I am glad I could come on here and express our love for how well you took care of Leia our dog. From the first visit with the initial vet trying to determine what kind of injury Leia had, to Dr Colton explaining everything to us in detail on what was wrong and how he was going to fix it, we could not have been any happier. Everyone in the staff was so gentle and loving with Leia and helped calm a dog that is a little skittish at times, being a rescue dog. You all made us feel like family and that you were going to treat Leia like she was one of your own. Dr Colton made us feel like Leia was in the best of hands and his calm demeanor made Leia feel that way also. You went out of your way to check up on Leia and see how she was feeling, and were always there if we had a question or concern. Thank you for allowing us to have a great experience, during a stressful time. You have always made us feel that way whenever we have brought in either one of our two dogs. Our dogs our like our kids and to know we have a place down the road from us that we can trust with our precious dogs, is an awesome feeling. If my wife and I could give you ten stars, we most certainly would. Thank you for treating our Leia with love and compassion. You guys are the best!!

4 months ago Experiencia fantástica: AAWC provided care for our dog Jax over the past 7 years. When his health unexpected declined last year, the staff was wonderful about investigating and helping us navigate his treatment. Dr. Schroeder was candid and compassionate about our options and checked in with us regularly about his health. When it came time to say goodbye, Emily and Dr. Hansen made the process peaceful and loving. 4 months ago Experiencia fantástica: I have to share a truly wonderful experience I had today with Dr. Richmond and her tech, Ryan. My dog has a chronic skin condition and recently had a severe flare that resulted in a lesion that wouldn’t heal. I was deeply concerned. After visiting three veterinarians in the West Valley where I live, none were able to offer a solution. Out of pure desperation, I made the 75-minute drive from Sun City to Gilbert. Years ago, when I lived on the East side, I had taken my previous dog to this practice to see Dr. Ford and always had wonderful experiences. Dr. Ford wasn’t available this time, and the receptionist offered an appointment with Dr. Richmond, who was new to me. As an acupuncturist who treats people, holistic care for my dog is very important to me, and since Dr. Richmond practices alternative veterinary medicine, I decided to take the appointment. I’m so glad I did. Dr. Richmond was amazing. She provided a clear, thoughtful assessment of my dog’s skin condition and offered simple, non-pharmaceutical and non-invasive solutions. She spent a full hour with us reviewing my dog’s history, thoroughly examining her, and answering my questions. It was clear that she truly cares and truly knows her stuff. Both Dr. Richmond and Ryan were also wonderful with my highly anxious little dog. The entire environment is calm and soothing, which made such a difference for her. This was such a great experience that I will happily continue making the 75-minute drive for this level of compassionate, excellent veterinary care. Thank you so much!

5 months ago Experiencia fantástica: It has taken me some time to write this review as I have been grieving the loss of my sweet Pepper and I knew writing this would draw up some emotions. I have nothing but kind words to say about Arizona Animal Wellness Center. I started taking my cat there when I first moved to the area in 2022. My cat had been losing weight and Banfield didn't do much digging into what was wrong. The problem was solved on my first visit here. It was determined that he had a hyperactive thyroid which was easily treatable with meds. About a year later, he was diagnosed with kidney disease and anemia (related to the kidney disease). Treating the anemia required regular vet visits. From summer 2023-Sept 2025, my cat had VERY frequent visits at the clinic. For a month he was there 2-3x per week and then we went down to twice monthly visits and eventually spread out to every other month-ish. I give all of that detail to say, EVERY member of the staff that I encountered here was friendly, helpful and frankly became like family to me. You would think that in 3 years someone would have a bad day or be unfriendly toward me or another client. Not here. And trust me, I spent TONS of time in their lobby. Dr. Chema was our main doctor. I knew she would be my favorite when she took me seriously about a drug for anemia that had just been FDA approved that could be administered at home. She actually read the study that I shared with her and helped me get my hands on the med. It ended up not working as well as the in-office treatment but she heard me out and gave me the pros/cons and allowed me to have some autonomy in my cat's treatment. She was also very fair, honest, and always made me feels she truly cared about my pet. She helped me determine courses of treatment that also considered the financial cost as well. In the end, I had to take my Pepper to an ER vet because it was Sunday and he took his last breaths there. The next day Dr. Chema called me to give her condolences and about a week later I received a card with a special note from each member of the staff that worked with Pepper. I mean, I seriously doesn't get better than that. It was beyond thoughtful! My sweet Pepper was 19 years old. I truly believe that with the help of this clinic, I was able to have as healthy as possible last 2 years with him. I had peace of mind every step of the way that I was doing what was best for my cat's treatment thanks to all the wonderful people here! I am so grateful to have found this clinic and would return if I ever get another pet in the future!

I have been 3 times since moving here and each visit has been great. They are very organized, knowledgeable, and friendly. I appreciate their care to my pups. 8 months ago Experiencia fantástica: After spending 25 years with our last vet (who was absolutely amazing and retired due to health issues), we really struggled to find a new home for our pets’ care. We tried a few different places before finding AZ Animal Wellness, and we couldn’t be happier! The staff is caring, knowledgeable, and compassionate, and the office and exam rooms are beautiful and spotless. We also love that they are a Fear Free clinic, which makes visits so much easier on our pets. On top of that, I never feel like they are price gouging—just honest, quality care. The staff was absolutely amazing and even comforted my 4 year old because she was terrified jinx wasn’t going to come back home like our cat we had to put down 2 years ago. The xray person even came in and talked to my 4 year old and showed her the X-rays and explained everything. They were so calm and took amazing care of our kitty. Cant recommend this place enough

9 months ago Experiencia fantástica: I had an appointment for my dog at az animal wellness center today. I mixed up dates and time, I thought my appointment was at 8:15 but then it was at 9am. The staff were very understanding and accommodating! The kindness the front desk showed was overwhelming for me! A little kindness in this world goes a long way and we need it now more than ever. 9 months ago Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Rossi is amazing. She was able to refer my dog Oscar out to an animal hospital with ultrasound equipment and a tech who could use it without waiting all weekend long. She had to call like 10 different places! And she did that for me! The staff is incredible kind and compassionate as well. I spent a lot of my time blubbering and bawling my eyes out and they took it all in stride. Even though they see owners like me and dogs like Oscar all day every day, they still made us feel taken care of and like we were important. I was referred to AZ animal wellness by my dog's previous owner, who also mentioned that they were amazing when one of her dogs needed to be humanely euthanized due to the severity of the dog's sickness. She said AZ animal wellness did a really good job. Idk how long I have with my own doggie, but if I need such services I'm for sure going to them for help. My budget is not great, and the staff was able to work with me and give me options and resources so I can make my dollar go as far as possible for my doggie's health. I am sure there are places I can get care cheaper, but in the long run I think AAWC is the best option for me and Oscar's needs. Thank you for taking care of us!

From the very first visit, it was clear how much they care—not just about doing a great job, but about Harley as a whole. She actually gets excited to go there, which is not the norm for her when it comes to the vet! After her first surgery and smooth recovery, I felt so much more at ease going into the second one, knowing she was in such good hands. 11 months ago Experiencia fantástica: I brought my 2-year-old pup Diesel to see Dr. Colton for knee surgery and couldn’t be happier with the experience. After using another veterinarian for 5 years, I wasn’t comfortable with their approach to discussing the surgery. When I was referred to Dr. Colton, I knew after our first visit that Diesel was in excellent hands. As a devoted dog Dad, it was crucial that I felt completely comfortable with the care team. Dr. Colton was incredibly thorough, taking time to explain all treatment options in detail. Throughout the entire process - from pre-surgery X-rays to post-operative care - Dr. Colton, Noah, and Sabrina were proactive in communicating during the procedures and were always available to answer questions and ensure we had a clear recovery plan. What impressed me most was the consistency of care. Every single team member I interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Having a visit with Ashley to learn what physical therapy methods to use was invaluable and definitely aided in his recovery. The 8-week post-op appointment confirmed that Diesel’s recovery has been excellent. This clinic has definitely earned my trust and will be our primary veterinary care provider going forward.

They were fast at getting us in and scheduling surgery days. Very thorough knowledge of this breed, we love that they put the dogs first, and understand the needs medically for our favorite breed. 1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: We have moved and are looking for a new Vet. I never took the time to leave a review but we love this vet and I may just have to drive my pets. It was a great location and I have a dog who gets pancreatitis. I can call same day and get her in to get her pain under control. This has happened multiple times with her and they were fast and kind. I also had to have them put our little dog down years ago and they were kind and compassionate. They put a candle by the door for us and allowed us to spend and much of his final moments as possible. They tranquilized him so he was in no pain and allowed us to give him all the love. I don't know if they are the cheapest but it seemed like they were in alignment with everyone else. They also have the meds and pet food on site...very convenient.

1 year ago Experiencia negativa: Everything with this vet is an upcharge. The last 3 times I’ve needed something from them, claws trimmed, prescription foods, etc they refuse to do it unless I also schedule an additional vet visit with them. Clean clinic, but all they care about is upcharging you into unnecessary vet appointments.

This card made it seem like our dog was this savage beast. I hope to god you never do this to another person because this was rude, unprofessional, and such a kick in the face to her mental health. How dare you. Update: if you really wanted to cherish the memory between the two, why did the message literally say nothing about either of their bond? All it says was - thank you for being strong enough to put your dog down and he was a safety hazard to others. Are you for real? 1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: It's hard to earn a five star review when it is for something you didn't want and it cost a lot of money. Our Newfiepoo Willow, who is four years old tore her CCL(That is like the ACL on a human). she's a big dog and the surgery and rehabilitation is hard and expensive. Dr. Colton was a great surgeon and made us feel very well informed about what our dog was going through and all the techniques that are available to create the best possible outcome for our dog that we love so much. The day we went to have the staples removed after the surgery Willow tore the other CCL, which created another very expensive bill at a horrible time. Dr. Carlton and his staff did a great job. Noah the vet tech was outstanding so were all the other members of the team. After the second surgery we started physical therapy with Ashley and her assistant Sisi. There have been a lot of opportunities for a bad experience, but every challenge was met by this team of incredibly skilled and compassionate people. The physical therapy was one of the best decisions we could've made. Ashley, who leads that part of the operation is skilled at a level that is beyond epic. So we hope we never have to come back for anything like this again. We're happy that our dog is healing well and you can tell that all of the staff of Arizona Animal Wellness Center are happy too. 1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: When I moved to Arizona, an acquaintance recommended Arizona Animal Wellness Center for her orthopedic surgery, and it was the best advice. The first time we came here was for a knee surgery consult. Although my dog is skeptical of men and was not the biggest fan of the male vet tech (through no fault of his own) they were still patient and lovely with her. When Dr. Colton (the orthopedic surgeon) came into the room, she fell asleep on his foot within a few minutes. He explained our surgical options thoroughly, with details, and compassion. He put both of us at ease. Her recovery from surgery was smooth and they were always quick to answer our questions. A few months later, and my dog is back running around at the dog park. We still come here for our routine vet needs and monthly arthritis shots, and I can’t recommend them more!

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: I wanted to make an update to my review. Recently, I had to make the difficult decision to put my 15 year old dog down. Emotionally, I was a wreck as anyone would be having to make this decision. During the last moments of my beautiful dog’s life, the staff pampered my dog, made her a final meal, and treated her with the uttermost kindness and respect. Their actions and professionalism were deeply heartfelt and genuine. I will always be thankful to their staff for how well handled my pet’s transition was. Additionally, I used the clinic’s cremation service and my pet’s remains were beautifully presented back to me and I received a hand written card from the doctor who assisted us along with his condolences. I have been to this clinic for several years and I will forever continue taking my furry family members to be cared for by these wonderful professionals. They will forever have a loyal customer with me. Thank you again and may God bless you all for the work that you do.

Both Dr. Shannon Hansen and Meghan were easy to talk to and I learned a lot of valuable information on asthmatic cats. I felt very at ease and confident with the treatment. There was no wait time. I was placed in a room when I arrived and the exam was completed shortly after. I highly recommend and will be returning with my 2nd Kitty. I only wish I had found them sooner!

1 year ago Experiencia negativa: Been going to AZ Animal Wellness for years - About 18 months ago they misdiagnosed an issue that could have cost my dog his vison in one eye; it required surgery and a specialist. They wanted to treat with medications...Customer service and pet care have gone downhill in place of profit. This is especially true when it comes to the pharmacy, they over prescribe and then refuse to transfer my boy's daily RX out and keep increasing price. Charging $30/mo for RX that is $4/mo via PetMeds. They do not follow instructions to call ME back and call an old number, I have been tolerating it for about 6 months. No more, my boy deserves better and so do I. Save yourself a headache, heartache, and money, choose another vet.

1 year ago Experiencia negativa: Your pet is not safe here!! They almost killed my dog twice. First, when she was in their care, and we were out of town, they accidently gave my dog a double dose of her insulin. She had to go to an emergency care facility overnight and was terrified every time we had to go back to the vet. Then, to make up for their mistake, they gave us a sample of syringes that they said were "compatible" but ended up being the wrong gauge, and she wasn't getting the correct dosage - leading her to become very ill. They were barely apologetic. If your dog ever needs anything more than routine check-ups of vaccinations - DO NOT COME HERE!

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: the best vet ever!! so happy with my experience here as a customer for my puppy the whole staff is very knowledgeable and through when explaining what is happening with your animal. i highly recommend the puppy wellness plan to save the $80 appointment fee each visit especially with a new dog who will have to be constantly seen for the first couple months. they are very helpful when it comes to any question you may have!! they always make me feel comfortable here. thank you!!!

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: Everyone here is absolutely fantastic. I switched to this vet, after my vet retired and I’m so glad I did. I was looking for a new place when Kim from “be like josh” posted about bringing Clyde here (IYKYK). I also used to transport Pete, for his physical therapy and I saw the level of care they took with all these super hero pups who have endured at the hands of un-humans. The schedule works well, the availability of appointments, the techs, the variety of speciality doctors, the level of care and knowledge, the prices — everything is just what you need to take care of your fur babies. - lots of love Maki, Nola & Cleveland.

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: I took my pitbull Wally in today actually because he has been suffering from ear issues and allergies for some time now. Everyone was so kind and made an effort to get on Wally's level and all of my concerns were taken seriously. I was told from my previous vet that he just had allergies and I just needed to clean his ears more--- I took him here for a second opinion and it turned out he had an infection! I will definitely be making this place my permanent vet and thank you for taking the time to get to know Wally and not judging him based on his breed. He was super excited for his entire visit and I loved all the personal care he received! Update: I went in 2 weeks later with Wally and his infection is almost cleared! The staff up front are so kind and even came and sat with Wally in the lobby. Another dog started barking at Wally when we were leaving and I quickly got him out the door since he was barking back. The staff came outside and checked on us before we left. It's the little things that make a huge difference as coming to the vet can sometimes be a stressful experience. Thank you AZ Animal Wellness Center UPDATE: I took my second dog here Max! Again super positive and individualized experience ✨️ It was his birthday and they gave him a bandanna and 2 pup cups. He has alot of anxiety which was a bit stressful but they are always so kind and helpful

Turns out she needed immediate surgery, Noah was the tech that handled the operation and I am extremely thankful for him as he saved my animal. 2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: This isn’t a easy review to make, but yesterday I had to put my dog down. Nothing about putting your dog down is “easy”, but the staff here made the process easier. They were super kind and caring. Arielle was so compassionate throughout the entire process. Dr Tedrow was great too, he was really nice and tried to put our mind at ease. I never felt rushed to do any part of the process and I knew they took good care of our baby. -We also took our dog in for a few check ups regarding weight loss and we never felt pressured to do any extra tests. They were available if we wanted to have additional testing but they didn’t make us feel super bad if we couldn’t do it.

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: Here is my HONEST review. a client of mine recommended me to come here. Let me start off by saying everything was DECENT. Would I go back? Probably! Who knows? It’s close but I might look for more affordable options per my income. But it really upset me how the vet looked at my cats teeth for under 10 seconds and then the tech proceeded to bring in a sheet with a 1500$ price tag on it. The craziest part is that My concern was her weight. I wanted to get her blood work done. That was MY concern. But after getting the 1500$ price tag for a dental cleaning - I walked out. With all of this being said- The five stars is merely for the kindness from the entire staff. From the SECOND I walked in. Everyone made Millie feel at home and so so loved. That- in and of itself- is what got the 5 stars!

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: I had an amazing experience at AAWC. We were referred by another hospital because they weren’t sure how to move forward with a growth removal for my senior Puggle. I got an appointment quickly and they were fortunately able to squeeze her in for surgery that day (even though it was not an emergency). Noah the CVT was extremely kind and took the time to explain the procedure and aftercare in depth. Dr. Colton made me feel comfortable and confident the procedure would go well despite her age and I appreciated his multiple follow up calls. The pricing for the surgery was very fair and I didn’t feel like they were adding in unnecessary charges like some hospitals do. The facility is very nice and clean and all the staff were friendly. I would definitely recommend this clinic to others!

Every person that we interacted with was professional and you could tell they were all pet lovers. The waiting area had drinks for the humans and treats for all the furry friends. 2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: First time visit. Was very pleased with the vet tech, Steven. He took the time to help my very anxious, new shelter dog trust him and relax. Received a topical for her skin rash that worked with the first application. They supplied a list of recommendationed trainers, but unfortunately most all were located in Phoenix. But through these connections I was able get info for a Gilbert location. Was pleased with the care given at this vet and that they didn't push for all the unnecessary tests and blood work. At my previous vet my bill never seemed to be under $200 and they were always pressing for the ultimate care. It was refreshing to get what was needed and not feel pressured for anything. Found our new pet care home.

2 years ago Experiencia negativa: Expensive. They have to do an exam for everything they do. Which is $75. They won't give you any advice or answer questions over the phone without an exam. If you go in for the walk in/ emergency they suggest blood work and x-rays everytime. No matter what the issue. My dog has a chicken allergy. They couldn't figure it out. I ended up figuring it out on my own after spending hundreds with them. They quoted me almost $1000 to get my dog fixed because they say they have to do an EKG. I ended up going to Nikkis Place and got it done for $250 total. Not the kind of vet I'm looking for.

Giving medical advice over the phone without seeing the pet can be unbeneficial when we are going off of what you are seeing compared to what is happening with your pet internally. With medical recommendations that are given at the time of a medical appointment bloodwork and x-rays can be a very important diagnostic tool to help your pet based on the exam finding of the doctor. When it comes to allergies in dogs, we usually go through a process of elimination pending what the owner is wanted to do for their pet. As far as the costs of services we have a very highly trained team that is with your pet from start to finish and we provide what we feel is great patient care. We understand that not everyone wants to spend that amount to fix their pet and that other places may fit your needs better. If you would like to discuss your case further, you could please reach out so I can look your chart up in our system and go over further with you the rules and regulations that veterinarians must follow to have a practicing license. 2 years ago Experiencia negativa: We had an appointment scheduled to have a small growth removed next week. I requested to have his T4 levels checked and the vet told me he would call to discuss the results. He never called so I followed up the next day. I was told that he would call at the end of the day. He never called. The following day, he finally called and told me he refuses to see my dog anymore because I am unhappy with how he loaded my dog up with pharmaceutical drugs that did more damage than help. I strongly recommend finding another vet who is more focused on treating causes vs symptoms and who handles themselves in a more professional manner.

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: Ashley & Dr Pastor have been helping my girl Bailey, my super hyper pitty with rehab after her ACL surgery. If you follow their suggestions & do the rehab, it’s well worth it after surgery. I also did the same steps with a prior dog, & he lived with no complications nor did he injure the other leg. He was able to hike and loved walks. I truly believe the rehab after surgery is the most important part of recovery! Highly recommend!

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: Brought my daughters dog in for a check up. The staff are really friendly. They asked all the right questions to get to Lulús checked out. Lobby is clean and odor free. They have treats for your pet. After they accessed her they came up with a solution to get her squared away.

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: We have been taking our 3 dogs to this facility for over 5 years and every contact with staff has been amazing. They treat our doggies like family and they have always been there for us in good times and bad. This past week we needed the team at AAWC quite a bit and they were there for us every step of the way. Sadly it was time to say goodbye to our oldest but the team showed compassion and support. AAWC has an onsite Pharmacy that has been wonderful and very convenient for our puppy scripts. Their lobby is large and nicely spread out so you and your pet have room to breathe. The waiting room is clean and has water and coffees for waiting guests. We recommend them to everybody!

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: I love this place they are so caring and understanding as well as very helpful. All my animals have gone here including my kids animals. When I had to put my loved pet down they stayed past closing to let me stay as long as I needed with him they were very caring as well during my time of grief. The vet tech stayed by my poe's side when I couldn't be there with all his tests and kept him loved while he was sick. I always recommend this place to people and will always bring my fur babies here.

3 years ago Experiencia fantástica: This is my second review of AAWC. Our pups have been coming here since 2015, and about 6 months ago, we tried out going to a new vet closer to where we live now (Queen Creek), which was also slightly cheaper for a lump removal that one of my dogs needed. Welp, I am here to tell you that YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. The standard of care and customer service at the other place was so awful I will quite literally never take my dogs back. I couldn't get back to AAWC faster. Every time we walk through the door, we feel at home. I know I am in a place where my dogs are truly cared for, and that peace of mind is priceless.

3 years ago Experiencia fantástica: I still would drive cross country to come here ! From the first day I walked in this clinic they made me feel like family. From the doctors calling me on my cell phone to talk to me about test results and coming up with a game plan together. To todays scary emergency they are great at calming me down and putting my mind at ease but also being upfront, honest and truthful. This is not a vet cares about taking your money. This is a vet that cares about your animal realizing that they are your family but also they’re conscious about finances so they will tell you what they recommend and then they will tell you what you really need to do and they will give you price points at both. I recommended a friend come here when she was told to euthanize her dog or to have his leg amputated. We are five years later and that sweet pup is still running around. Happy and healthy on all four paws. I’m not saying they’re miracle workers, but I’m saying they listen to the families and then really try to get down the problem without draining your bank account. If you ever go there, you will see what I mean the moment you walk in the door they greet you with love and compassion. Thank you to all the doctors the techs the front office staff every person that works here!! Thank you for helping put this mama‘s heart at ease and for helping to keep my boots, relaxed and calm, and treating him as if you were your own

3 years ago Experiencia fantástica: My little 10 year old furbaby had some dental work and I was so concerned about her being on anesthesia with other health issues. The staff was phenomenal! Joey was my contact and he texted me with updates on when she was next, called me when she was done to say that she was doing great, then then Dr Cooper called with an update when she was all done. The contact assurance was so comforting! When I picked her up, complete discharge paperwork and instructions were discussed. I am so glad to be at this facility for my pets! Thank you AAAWC!!!

3 years ago Experiencia negativa: This place used to be great. What happened? Feels less like a vet and more like a used car sales lot now. Lots of upselling, loads of long wait times, and my pet was misdiagnosed (after spending more than $1500 too). After 10+ years of bringing my pets to AZ Animal Wellness, I’m done. Their new employees are trained to upsell you on a “Wellness Plan” (but they can’t answer basic questions about the plan) and they’re so focused on getting you to sign up that they overlook important health concerns regarding your pet/s. They’re always pushing you for re-examinations and extra procedures too. I paid for the Wellness Plan and it ‘saved’ me the cost of one revisit/examination fee over the course of a year - maybe. *They spend more time on the upsell than actually diagnosing and caring for your pet.* Not to mention that after signing up for The Wellness Plan, I couldn’t get my pet an appointment for a month+ due to their scheduling and then (if you ask) they’ll tell you they take walk-ins, but proceed to tell you that the wait times can be 2-4 hours or more. When your pet needs to see a vet and you’ve paid extra for a “Wellness Plan”, your pet should not have to wait over a month to be seen. Was upsold. Did not benefit my pet. Ended up going elsewhere for a fraction of the price with no wait times, and the new vet did not try to get as much money out of my pocket as possible. Understaffed, oversold, left feeling like I just got ripped off at a used car lot. The new/current owners aren’t concerned with your pet’s well being as much as they care about lining their own pockets.

3 years ago Experiencia fantástica: AZ Animal Wellness Center rocks! We switched to this place from a vet clinic right around the corner from home, regardless of the 25-minute drive to Higley & Pecos. We did this on the recommendation of our youngest daughter. I value her input because of the good overall health of the specimens at the international animal research facility she oversees. OK, she calls the facility her "house" and the specimens her "pets", and she's probably right to call them that since, well, it IS a house... and they ARE her pet dogs, cats, guinea pigs and snakes. I guess having a dozen or so pets doesn't necessarily make a person a zoologist, but I trust her opinion just the same. She's a good kid, you know- only "borrows" money a few times per year that she"ll never pay back and always remembers to flush the toilet when she visits. Well, most of the time, at least. Anyway.... YES! Arizona Animal Wellness Center is a great place to take your fuzzy friends for all their health needs. The entire staff is friendly and they genuinely care about their patients' health and happiness. I also dig the onsite pharmacy that actually has a DRIVE-THRU!! Look out, Walgreens!!

3 years ago Experiencia fantástica: Our poor Zoey had an ear infection while we were visiting from Wisconsin. Called and made an appointment within days. Our Vet tech Nour and Dr. Shannon Hansen were both great. Zoey is normally shaking and scared at her vet visits. Not here she was completely calm and actually happy. She just kept watching and even jumped right up on table a few times. Thank you for getting us in so quick and getting our Zoey on the medicine she needed for her double ear infection. 3 years ago Experiencia fantástica: I have so many reasons why we have been going to this place for our four legged family member since 2015. First off, the staff members are so friendly and helpful. There are so many Technicians and Veterinarians to mention - we love Dr. Savarese, Dr. Cooper, Bianca, and so many more Techs - I'm only sorry I can't recall more names. They have some quality people in their team. Second, communication - they make it so easy to connect with us. Phone calls, texts, emails, appointment reminders, etc. When one of our kittens was getting spayed, they called and text throughout the day to keep us updated on this condition. They also make follow up calls and messages the neat day to ask how our pets are doing after receiving their vaccines. Third, their surroundings. It looks clean, smells clean, the lobby/sitting area is spacious, there are plenty of private rooms, very wide parking spaces for cars, the front lobby area feels welcoming, along with friendly receptionists. Fourth, convenience and wide range of services. This has to be one of their biggest advantage. It's so easy to book appointments here. Supplies, Food, Treats, Animal Cones: if you need it, they likely have it. Medication: they'll provide prescriptions onsite. If you need to pick up medication later or drop off a sample, they even have a drive thru! In 2020, they even had curbside appointment check-ins and serviced available. Services: these range from well visits, and/or something similar to Urgent Care. I currently have 4 kittens and 2 puppies go to this clinic for well visits. One of my kittens was spayed here. One of my other kittens will be going for a dental cleaning here next month. One of my female huskies had a tumor removal here. They have such a wide range if services! Resources: if there's something they don't provide, they will have a recommendation for you. Fifth, they genuinely care. I have never met a Vet Tech or Veterinarian here made me or my pets feel unwelcome. I know everyone doesn't always have good days, but the people here seem to always be having a good day! I want to know what they're drinking haha! One of the most heartfelt things I remember was in the fall of 2021, two of our ol huskies crossed the rainbow bridge...one after the other in less than 30 days. It was the biggest heartbreaks for our family. We outsourced the people that helped us with the procedures, but the staff here sent us two Condolences cards with sincere messages from them. My only downside is cost, BUT it costs money to run a business right AND pay wages to quality people to do it! You want the right place with quality people when caring for your four legged family members, right?
