Experiencia fantástica: Oasis animal hospital is staffed with competent Professionals who really care about every animal like they were their own. Dr Tenney (the owner) makes sure the hospital staff are up to date on the newest information and procedures. Everyone goes out of their way to get you and your pet great care. The support team is an excellent collection of superior technicians. We have been coming to Oasis for over 20 years- they have taken care of our family and we would not go anywhere else.

Brought to exam room, our tech was Jade, super friendly, knowledgeable, and you can tell she is very passionate about helping animals. She explained everything mg from A to Z. Answered all of my questions. The Dr. was super nice and honest.My dog was reverse sneezing. She said his lungs and heart sounds good .probably allergies. My dog is feeling better already. When our Basset was diagnosed with diabetes, Dr. Boyce checked in with us frequently to help us keep her blood sugar stable. As long as we have pets, we will continue to ise this clinic.

Experiencia fantástica: We brought our cat Cookie in because of an infected ear. Upon entering their offices, we were kindly greeted by the front desk receptionist. One thing we noticed right away was how clean and orderly the facility was. Once in the exam room, we were greeted and immediately offered coffee or water. Cookie was given a blanket with pheromones to relax her. Dr. O’Donnell was very kind and professional and caring. She offered us options to work with our budget most effectively. We left there feeling so much at ease and we know Cookie already felt better!! Bravo to this animal hospital and staff!!! Truly the best !!!

It took only one visit to go running back to oasis. You care about our animals and never make us feel like a cash machine. Have been through 2 vets before for my dogs - one was highly rated but made us feel like a number and made us feel rushed out every time, and another was a small vet that we hoped would give us a more personal experience but were too antiquated in their practice which caused its own frustrations. We were looking for a vet that could sit with us, not gaslight us and not make us feel like we need to be crossed off of their schedule for the day, and make us feel seen and heard and cared for. Dr. Carson and the entire team and staff we have interacted with at Oasis make us feel just that. Even my most random, "google-able" questions I've come up with are always answered with kindness, patience and a ton of education that makes sense, and they make things so simple and easy and clearly outlined. Excited to keep bringing all of my future pups to Dr. Carson!

We were able to get an appointment quickly and were taken to a room as soon as we arrived. Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful technicians and veterinarians every time I have been in there! We have been patients for over 10 years for all of our animals, had to have a couple of emergency surgeries in the past and the staff was always so understanding and supportive. Just brought my senior dog in last week, no one has ever been able to cut her nails (except when she has been completely sedated) and they worked with my dog and made her feel so comfortable they were able to trim her nails! Every visit has always been above a 5 star review, even at end of life visits! I can not rave enough about the doctors and staff at Oasis! Our family loves them❤️

Our last veterinary clinic missed my kitty’s asthma after multiple visits for breathing issues and it got pretty bad in result :( After that I wanted to find a new vet and I’m sooo happy I did. Oasis only suggests the absolute necessary tests/labs. I was shocked when they showed me the total estimate of our visit and it was only a few services! At other clinics I was used to it being an entire page full of add ons and crap that they talk you into and always leaving spending nothing less than a thousand. The vets at Oasis will talk to you for as long as you need, until absolutely all of your questions and concerns have been addressed. Whereas other places have made me feel so rushed and left confused. So if you’re going through reviews looking for a new vet, hands down this is the one. Your fur babies will be sooo loved and taken care of here :) !

EVERY single experience I have had with Oasis Animal Hospital, I have felt like the entire staff truly cares about my fur babies, and even me. Whether it's a phone call, Otto chat, or in person, the staff has been nothing short of wonderful and attentive. This year, I had the unfortunate heartbreak of having to put my baby girl Daisy to rest. During the time of going back and forth to Oasis multiple times a week, the entire staff made sure she was cared for. I love how much they loved on her. While it was absolutely devastating when I had to say goodnight, I feel a comfort knowing she was in the hands of people who truly and deeply cared for her up until the bitter end. I would recommend this place to ANYBODY with a fur baby that wants to make sure they are in great care and help. Experiencia fantástica: I have taken my fur babies to Oasis for over 20 years, back to the days they were on Alma School. The vets here have always been caring, kind and truly love animals, and that is hard to find in many places. They have healed my pets, and they have been there for me when I have had to say goodbye to my older/sick babies. I appreciate that there are never any surprises with the bill (they always do comprehensive estimates), and they are great with follow-ups and even getting me in at the last minute when I have needed to have one of my dogs looked at same day. Just an all around excellent place to take any pet you love and know they are getting great care.

Their pricing is fair and transparent, and not once have I felt pressured into unnecessary treatments or upsells. There isn't a way for me to properly express to anyone reading this how incredible the care at this clinic is, but know that they will love and care for you pet as much as you do, and they will always go above and beyond to help you!

Experiencia negativa: Do NOT euthanize your pets here. And if you do, do not take the last appointment of the day (4:30p). I highly recommend at-home, given the amount of stressors we put our pet through in his last moments with us. We had let our vet office know we were sort of running behind with traffic, but they were adamant they would not accept us after 4:30pm sharp for our appointment. We had wanted to stop and grab some In-N-Out burger patties for Asher's last meal, but it would put us just past 4:30pm. We were stubborn, and we decided we were going to get him patties, we were not compromising, and if we get turned around at the office, well find another way to give Asher some dignity. So here we are, rushing from Starbucks to In-N-Out then the vet office, Asher senses the urgency in our actions and we're all anxious. We get there, and they welcomed us in 6min behind. We settled in, and we noticed it was notably hot in the room. The floor fan was reading a temperature of 86°F. Asher, already starved of oxygen from anemia and hemoabdomen pressuring his lungs, was panting immediately, gasping for air. We asked them to power the A/C, and they said they would. After some time a pair of nurses came in to set his catheter, which was massively stressful. I had promised Asher last night from his last procedure... "One last poke, Booboo, One last poke. I promise." They poked him 6-7 times trying to get blood flow. if red flags were an indication for us to call everything off and bring Asher home, that was enough of them. But for some reason, we failed to speak up... I failed. We were so focused on giving Asher this little bit of dignity (or what was left of it), afraid of him passing through the night for a Saturday at-home, that we just allowed them to continue, with comforting Asher the only thing we could do. The nurses decided to call in the doctor to try... he arrives, and makes 2 more attempts, failing himself as well! He drew blood on a third attempt, and when he had thought he got it, the saline test injection wouldn't go, so he had to undo all his tape and try all iver again on the other arm. Asher's poor arm... we were in agony. But in my everlasting regret, we just continued. His final needle poke was met with success, along with a loud welp from Asher, it hurt! What were we thinking, at this point?? They leave, brung us a tray of snacks, and leave us be for a few.... he had a few licks of peanut butter and whipped cream, but he was so uncomfortable he wanted to lay in the corner to cool down, a corner where the staff left their tray of catheter tools and exposed needles on the floor! we tried to clean it up, and get Asher up on the couch to relax. He was still overheating, as a nurse pops in and proclaims "it seems a little cooler in here", as it was still 86°F. They give us a button to push when we're ready to begin, give us some privacy... it's 5:50pm, nearing closing time. The doctor pops in after 5 minutes, and begins with "I hate to be the person that rushes....". We get it. So he leaves and returns with his injections, giving us a brief explanation of expectation. Its a sleep/sedative, and then the stopper. As he's reaching for Asher's arm, Asher's eyes dilated and was looking at mama and papa in nervousness. He did not like his arms touched anymore. and we're trying to comfort him we were here and by his side as the doctor slips in the sedative. Asher, in 2 seconds, immediately fell asleep. It was unreal, how abrupt it was, I was not expecting it. As we were asking if he could still hear us, the doc was already slipping the stopper into the catheter, not missing a beat. We had hardly a chance to say some comfort words to our sleeping boy before the doctor was pressing his stethoscope against his chest... "he's gone." We burst into tears loudly, holding our baby boy's paws and head. And the doctor left the room. It was awful. We were given 4-5 more minutes in peace to grieve, and a nurse came in to console us and urge us out thedoor with ours and Asher's things. Absolutely awful experience, we're scarred.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve only been at the office once so far, but it was an extremely positive experience for myself and my nine week old puppy. The communication with the office staff is fantastic through an app. Everything was clean and fresh.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Boyce was able to see our 9 year old German Shepard and the amazing technician was able to draw blood for the first time in 3 years so he could have labs! Also, we were able to get him a once a year heartworm shot instead of wondering every month if we gave him his medicine on time, when it is very important because we live by water now and have mosquitos. We were also able to schedule our 10 year old Yorkie-poo for a visit one day out and surgery 3 days out, which is incredible. They were extremely helpful and prompt with sharing records when one of our pets had to have an emergency surgery also. Our pets love everyone at this facility and we can't say enough good about them, thank goodness we found them after trying out several facilities in the area!

Experiencia negativa: We've been bringing our 4 yo domestic shorthair cat and 2 yo golden retriever to Oasis for 1.5 years after moving to the area from out of state. Yearly check ups and shots with this vet are quick and painless - a good, expected experience. Maybe a bit higher cost than others in the area, but they are open later in the afternoon which we appreciate. Anything outside of yearly check ups, though, has not been so great in service or cost. Our cat has past medical history and our dog a sensitive stomach so we're here more often than average, I would think. A few examples outside of yearly check ups - we were quoted $1200 for a standard neuter of our under 2 yo dog (~$300 or less elsewhere in the area) and $875 for a FAVN test + requirement of only releasing results to a third party pet moving company with large additional costs associated there (the test itself ranges $100-300, and our cat would fly cabin so we have no use for a pet moving service with him outside of to get this test through Oasis). Getting in for urgent vet care has also been a struggle in some circumstances and the care tends to lean towards prescribing extra pain meds than debatably are needed. The staff is friendly at Oasis, but the policies of the hospital itself have us looking for new veterinary care that can help us out with pet needs outside of yearly check ups.

You will not be disappointed with the care you receive here; I have seen people stop by with their dogs just to say “Hi.” We love Oasis!

Experiencia fantástica: My dog Luna got a dog bite yesterday and I brought her in. I was an emotional wreck because my dogs toe was completely ripped open and bone was exposed. They were so calm helpful and didn’t make me feel like a crazy person lol. I ended up having to bring her to another animal hospital because she needed sedation but oasis animal hospital team is amazing, and i cant thank them enough!

Dr Salemi takes care of my little dogs and Dr. Boyce takes care of my cats! They are both very knowledgable, kind, patient and attentive with all my fur babies! Experiencia negativa: I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and the last few visits I’ve had with this office have been a huge hit or miss. Previously I would speak so highly of this office, but I’ve stopped recommending them and have been debating looking for a new vet. I don’t know if every time I call they’re having a bad day, so they gotta make it EVERYONES problem, but the attitudes need to change. I work in an emergency room, I know how to talk to people, and some of the way these receptionist and techs talk really need to check themselves. Disappointed in this office and how they don’t seem to care anymore. Maybe it’s all about money nowadays but I want a vet that will listen to me or send in a prescription same day if that’s what the office tells me they’re going to do, do better Oasis. I don’t have children, I have my dogs so this isn’t something I take lightly, my pets are my family and it doesn’t seem like oasis cares about them.

Experiencia fantástica: Oasis Animal Hospital has been our animal clinic of choice since 2015. Upon arrival, we are greeted immediately and always feel welcomed. The front desk staff is friendly, kind, and professional, and the technicians are very caring and gentle with our pets. The office and exam rooms are spotlessly clean, and there's an unusual calm and peacefulness throughout. While there are not separate entrances for cats and dogs, we've never had any issues with other pet patients. We're usually taken to an exam room immediately and there is seldom a wait past appointment time. Taking pets to the vet is rarely fun, but taking a former feral cat labeled as "fractious" is a massive challenge not for the faint of heart. Our gentle giant at home reverts to a feral wildcat when taken outside his element against his will. Without premedication, he is all claws and teeth; even with meds, he is still a handful. He makes it abundantly clear that he is not happy about the visit yet is still handled compassionately by techs and vets alike. Our pets see Dr. Salemi, one of very few male veterinarians that our big cat tolerates. Dr. Salemi takes the time to discuss treatment options and answer questions, both in person and over the phone. We never feel rushed or forced into unnecessary tests or procedures, and their pricing is in line with local averages. We are very happy to have Oasis Animal Hospital so close to home, but they'd be worth a longer drive.

Experiencia fantástica: First vet visit (for both my cat and I) and it was nothing but positive! I was a little anxious not knowing what to expect for my cat Lemmy’s visit, we just needed routine shots and had no other significant concerns. Dr. Chen and the vet technician (his name started with a D I think, and was not on the website) were wonderful! Totally great with my cat, gave her lots of pets and made sure she was comfortable. The whole visit was roughly 30 minutes so it was great being in and out. Front staff were so friendly and greeted me with a smile. I’m happy to have a vet home now!

I am so completely satisfied with Oasis Animal Hospital I would never shop around for other veterinary services. From the front desk, vet techs and compassionate vets my Trooper is always taken such good care of, and he loves them all!

Experiencia fantástica: We have 2 very needy dogs (one is dog aggressive, the other is very nervous at the vet). Oasis always takes the time to make sure we have a comfortable and safe environment. I’ve been going to them for 8 years and have always had a pleasant experience! The prices are fair, and the vets always explain why certain things are needed or if they are optional.

Our oldest dog has been going there for 9 years, our newest dog has been going there for 2 years.

In that time, I’ve seen 4 or 5 of their different veterinarians and all of them are top-notch. The office staff and vet techs are also outstanding: I’ve called them from out of town to have shot records emailed to me. I’ve always gotten them within minutes. I’ve never sat in the waiting area for longer than 5 minutes. I have nothing but good things to say about Oasis. They run a very clean, efficient, and friendly animal clinic.

Experiencia fantástica: We started going to Oasis when we rescued our first dog back in 2011. Several moves and seeing two of our dogs crossing the rainbow bridge. I am lucky to say that our current dog is currently going there now. There is something to be said about that, we don’t even live in the area, but we make sure we sacrifice any travel time to ensure that our pet is treated properly. We are very lucky to have this trusting relationship, and I am sure your pet friends would love this group as well!

She’s one of the only vets I trust to take care of them. The entire staff at Oasis has been so kind and caring every time I go in. The front desk receptionists are so wonderful and thorough. The nurses are so patient and gentle.

Experiencia positiva: Love Dr. Salem's kindness and work ethic. He loves animals and it shows. Basic care, shots, etc are reasonably priced. But the spay/neuter fee is high $900-1000+. You can't get quotes over the phone. (I've heard Homeward Bound is an excellent and safe place for low cost spay/neuter.) The facility is clean and the staff polite.

I brought my recent 2 year old with some health complications to this wonderful staff and they all were incredibly helpful, patient, and valued what I had to share before spaying my sweet pup. Always great service, procing, and minimal wait time. Here at Oasis, they truly make you feel like extended family. When a dear friend suddenly lost her pet cat, Xmas 2023, I called Oasis Animal Hospital right away. The staff was exceptionally caring towards my friend and her pet's passing. They followed up with a sweet card and pawprints to remember her sweet pet by. They handled the whole process with ease and humility to ease her pain. They truly are the best!

Experiencia fantástica: I lived in Arizona for over 7 years, and in that time I had two dogs (one Great Dane and one Puggle) and one cat that I took to Oasis regularly for everything from yearly wellness exams and vaccinations to emergencies and just general life advice regarding my fur babies. I would trust this vet staff and the team of doctors with my own life because of how well they cared for my animals while in their care. It is unfortunate that I will have to find a new vet now that I have relocated, however I am so grateful for the integrity, compassion, and dedication of everybody at Oasis Animal Hospital. I would recommend them to anybody in the Tempe/Chandler/Gilbert/Mesa/QC area, and even beyond that! I may be biased since we rarely saw anybody besides Dr. CJ Boyce, but he is the best (especially with cats)! Thank you all so much for everything you did for my fur babies and my family :)

Experiencia fantástica: From the moment I entered I knew Milo was in the right hands. Dr. Hammerschmidt was wonderful and listened to all my concerns since Milo was a rescue. They even checked-in later in the week with a text and I could send in pictures of his surgery site to have her check on it. Unfortunately we needed more meds but were able to do that all through text and then just had to stop by and pick them up at the office. Will definitely continue going to Oasis for my pet care. Amelda
