Bloodwork has consistently been less expensive than at our full service vet. And when I can’t get into our regular vet, we can usually get an appointment here.

On top of that THEY DELETED MY PREVIOUS REVIEW and couldn’t even give me a simple apology which was ALL I wanted. Thanks for prolonging the deterioration of my pets health! You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. Especially Dr Harrington! :-)

Experiencia negativa: You had me spend $868 and sent me home with medicine that had nothing to do with the main reason I made the appointment... after 2 1/2 days of phone calls for test results and wanting info on how to keep my dogs Urinary track infection under control. All I got was. We will call you back. Now it's Saturday and you are closed all weekend. Meanwhile he's in pain. House is covered in pee and we have to wait till Monday. I barely mentioned his ears and the fact that he's limping and that's the only medicine you guys prescribed. I feel like you ignored the main reason and sold me a paper trail of cost to make your quota!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I took my dog in for an exam because he wasn't walking after being groomed the day before. Dr. Hardt examined Bailey and didn't find any broken bones or joint damage. My dog had been shaking and whimpering at home like he was in pain. He said it could be soft tissue injury. While I was there, Bailey jumped up on the bench next to me like nothing was wrong. Today, 48 hours after he was groomed, Bailey finally let me look at his feet. It looks like the groomer shaved between his paw pads to get rid of the hair between his pads and it was still red. Plus she trimmed his nails shorter than normal. I think his feet were sore from the extreme grooming. I need to talk to the groomer about this. At least there wasn't any permanent damage. Dr. Hardt was very understanding and said dogs can hide their pain.

You won't find any better in this area. We just both our dog's annual vaccinations for 2024 and the service was great. We highly recommend this place. UPDATE 11/052025 Our little min pin recently took a tumble on the steps and hurt herself. We called and they got is in that day the vet was very good and did a quite complete exam . Azuring us it was just some bruising. He gave something for her pain and viewed and updated some of her other meds. She is doing quite well and we couldn't be happier with everything we highly recommend them for any needs your pet may have.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the best vet in the area(: I've been going here for a few years, and after I moved I still drive my cats 25-30 min to this vet because they are so good! Despite being corporate-owned (backed by private equity), which typically equates to higher costs and lowered care, the prices here are very reasonable, and the staff is so kind and caring about your pet! They aren't rude or pushy if you can't afford certain services, and made my pets feel very comfortable at every visit!

Experiencia fantástica: My cat was throwing up many times while I was away. I, took him to Pet Doctor and saw Dr. Liselli. Dr. Liselli was so compassionate, knowledgable, and kind. Dr. Liselli gave me options for treatment, and explained each option, without pushing me towards any of them. The next day Dr. Liselli phoned me after hours to check up on my cat, even though I had spoken with the vet tech earlier that day to give an update. Dr. Liselli had the vet tech call me the next day to confirm what we had spoken about the previous evening as well. I feel so relieved each time I go to Pet Doctor, knowing that they are always thinkning of the best interests of my cat. I highly recommend Pet Doctor.

Experiencia fantástica: Appreciate that the vet recommended an X-ray that diagnosed a foreign metal object in my puppy’s stomach- she recommended surgery and contacted an emergency clinic with 24/7 services for me. Very pleased that i wasn’t just sent home with meds and that she was skilled and thorough! Her diagnosis probably saved my puppy’s life and at the very least her quick diagnosis allowed immediate surgery that kept my dog from having complications!

Experiencia negativa: It’s telling that my first review disappeared, so I’ll write it again — because the experience I had here was devastating, and I need other pet owners to know. My dog, Lou Ferrigno, was 11 years old — happy, healthy, and deeply loved. One day after a light walk, he suddenly appeared to be in excruciating pain. I rushed him here. We were seen by a female vet wearing a hijab (I'll revise my comment and add the name once I find it) who dismissed my concerns, told my partner and me that Lou was “being dramatic,” and planned to send us home with anti-inflammatory medication — despite the fact that Lou was clearly suffering. I requested X-rays, offered to pay whatever it cost, and she still refused. The vet tech shared she did not agree with the Vet's initial diagnosis and agreed that her nature did not come off as caring. She promised she would go speak with another Dr. to come speak with me as I could not leave there that evening without x-rays and answers. Hours later, the results showed exactly what I suspected: Lou’s hip was broken. Unfortunately, the worst was still to come. I was later advised by the 2nd opinion doctor at this same clinic to move forward with hip surgery, even though I specifically asked whether anything else could explain such a sudden, severe injury. My concerns were brushed aside, and I was reassured it was the right path. Two months later, when Lou was still not recovering, tests finally confirmed the truth: cancer. Looking back at his bloodwork (including elevated alkaline phosphatase and other indicators), the signs were there — but no one here acknowledged them. Instead of receiving honest guidance, I was led down a road of unnecessary surgeries, endless appointments, and false hope. Lou endured pain, fear, and invasive procedures that did nothing to help him. His last six months were far harder than they should have been, and I will never stop blaming this office for their lack of compassion, their poor judgment, and their unwillingness to prioritize what was best for him. For any pet owner reading this: please go elsewhere. After this nightmare, I took my dog Jinx to a different clinic when she was diagnosed with cancer (lymphoma). The difference was like night and day — the new vet set clear expectations, explained options with empathy, and treated both me and my pet with respect. That is how veterinary care should look. I can never forgive myself for trusting this place, but I hope sharing Lou’s story spares another pet and family the same heartbreak. The front desk/admin were always kind and helpful, and I appreciate the vet tech for being honest with me and showing her compassion during that initial visit, it was much appreciated.

The waiting room experience was brief, the people were kind and helpful, and the bill was reasonable. They asked me along the way if I wanted this or that and were upfront with the prices so there was no blindsiding at the end with a huge bill. They gave me info on different shots and meds he could take but they weren’t pushy at all. I’m very glad I found this place!

She got the vitals for my Panda and a few moments later, the Doctor came in. Talked for a few minutes and they took my Panda back. Remover all hair in her ears (no pain)! In and out in 20 minutes!

That says a lot! For my most recent appt, all the time slots, on Monday, were taken so I was going to have to wait 2 days to get my cat in to see the vet. I was told that if a slot opened, they could call me. I said that would be great. Lo and behold, I received a call and was able to get my cat in on Monday!! I was very happy! Enjoyed the Vet Tech a lot. She was very personable and fun to talk to. Dr. Benecke was great, too!!!

After returning from a long trip, we went to pick up our dog from a boarding facility, where they informed us that our dog had been infested with canine lice during her stay. We called everywhere looking for a veterinarian that could see her immediately and help us. Pet Dr of Chandler was recommended to me by a coworker. They got us in within an hour, despite it being the Monday after a holiday weekend, and couldn't have been kinder to us. The veterinarian was wonderful and assured us that there were no lice, fleas or ticks whatsoever after a thorough examination of our girl. (Apparently, the person at the boarding facility was confused, misinformed or uneducated.) It gave us quite a scare and we were happy to find out it was nothing. This place gave us peace of mind and we are grateful. This will be our new vet going forward. Thank you everyone at Pet Doctor of Chandler!

Experiencia negativa: I would give them a zero if I could. I've been too distraught to even write a review, but I will feel better if I do. Dr Nelson saw my cat back in Feb when I took my cat Sunny in for hairloss on his leg. I wanted him to have a thyroid test, because I thought he had a thyroid condition? Dr Nelson came in and told me it was stress and my cat was 8 years old and NEVER been stressed in all of his 8 years. He told me he was going to give him a depo shot and I questioned it, because I wanted his bloodwork to come back first before he was treated, because I wanted to know what they were treating him for first? They took him back to draw the blood and gave him a depo shot I didn't ask for. My cat died a horrible painful death less than a week later. I rush him to the vet because he was gasping too breath and his lips and tongue were blue. He was screaming in pain. He literally died in front of me before the vet came in. I will never forget what I witnessed. My completely healthy cat died from getting a depo shot I never ok'd. I feel Pet Doctor needs to refund my money for killing my cat. Sunny didn't deserve to die the way he did. He would still be alive today if it wasn't for that depo shot he received. I will never use Pet Doctor again and I hope no one else does. RIP SUNNY.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to the Pet Doctor for a number of years. They are always concerned for my pets. Sadly most of my pets have crossed over the bridge as they were all very old. I have one remaining cat that appeared at our door about 10 years ago--Buddy. He needed his nails trimmed. I use the online signup for appointments and love it. It is easy to use, no waiting on the phone and easy to understand. He got right in and came home happy and SNAG free. Thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: They take super good care of our current 6 fur babies at reasonable costs. Only nail trims are too pricey compared to others. When my previous cat was dying they taught me IVs to add her comfort and they let me know when it was time to give up. The euthanasia/grieving area is nice if you don't want or don't have time to do hospice at home. 2pm + is a great time to go. Shorter waits but when the school is insession the park lot kinda crazy.

Experiencia fantástica: We doubled up on the amount of paws The Pet Doctor examins! Caring for pets is a responsibility but for many, the costs on those necessary proceedures limited our paw numbers. Shopping around for veterinary services lead us to The Pet Doctor. Our Chaweenie needed dental cleaning and care as most Chihuahuas do. Saving $1,200 was our first benefit by choosing this wonderful clinic over our other! Yes, our 10 year old pup lost 3 teeth, but they were coming out regardless of which clinic pulled them. Now our newly adopted 2 year old Jack Russell terrier had his debut exam. With clean bills of health on both pups, its back to another year of loving wags to witness! Thanks to The Pet Doctor!

Experiencia fantástica: I brought two pups in on Monday. One for shots and one for nail trim. Our wait time was minimal. The vet tech that helped document my dogs shot records was very informative. My pups are pretty comfortable with everyone there. I recommend Pet Doctor to everyone looking for a vet.

Experiencia fantástica: I do animal rescues. I came here about 4 years ago with 2 rescues. Over the years they have treated 3 rescues and 5 of my own. You can get an oppointment quickly, their prices are reasonable compared to other high priced vets. Most of all they care about your pet and the treatment they give.
