Experiencia fantástica: I just moved to the area and my cat began experiencing concerning behavior. I was able to get him into Az Ave Animal Hosp. The same day. They called the next day to check on him and were prompt in reporting the results of his tests.

Experiencia positiva: Took a friend in to get travel certificate to move, got a rabies shot for the cat. Well, all was well, but the next day after $$$, the cat got mad and ran away. Not sure if she came back yet or if someone took her. She's not outside much, so mystery. Come back Blue

Dr. Christina is always so compassionate and thorough with her examination and takes extra time to answer any questions or review a concern that I might randomly ask about. I just had my dog Booker in for annual vaccines, but Dr. C listened to my story about an ongoing issue Booker was having and advised to cancel the vaccines for another time. She then took extra time to run an ultrasound and bladder check on him. He still has issues but I was grateful for the quick review. Thank you AZ Ave Animal Clinic!

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful staff and facility! Each one treats my Jesse as if she were their own! Dr Phillip is amazing and very thorough. Last year during Jesse's physical exam, she noticed a bump on one of Jesse's toes. It turned out to be a carcinoma and the toe had to be removed, but better the toe than her entire foot or leg, if the carcinoma had not been discovered then. All due to the thorough exam by Dr Phillip! At each visit, I have been given a Physical Examination Report, detailed invoice and written instructions to help us to give Jesse the best care at home for a long life! I wouldn't go anywhere else!!!!!!!

They ran tests that we asked for and gave us options for him to help calm him down as we are moving across the country! They gave us a sample for a dewormer and flea preventative. I wish I found this office before we planned to move! 10/10 customer service and 10/10 for the care of your pets!

She set a very high standard with her knowledge, compassion, and exceptional bedside manner when interacting with clients. At our most recent appointment, we saw Dr. Galvan and were very pleased to have a similarly positive experience. She demonstrated the same level of care, professionalism, and attentiveness that we valued so highly with Dr. Beson. Additionally, the front desk team and veterinary technicians were welcoming, capable, and genuinely helpful, contributing greatly to an overall positive experience.

Experiencia positiva: I've been taking my Labrabull rescue for the last few years now. Dr. Mike and all the staff have always been courteous, professional and super sweet to my nervous pup. Prices are manageable and they do have payment plans if needed. Highly recommend. Update: Have been taking our pup and kitty to these guys for years now - through their updates. Our doctor has retired and the new doctors they have on staff are very kind and understanding. I have always trusted this staff, front desk is awesome. Even though we have moved farther away, we still opt to take our pets here.

Experiencia negativa: Took my cat here for surgery on his paw. While that went fine, they bandaged him too tight and it resulted in a wound that got infected. The staff continued wrapping the wound improperly, and refused to give him another antibiotic without charging me $400 for a culture. Mind you, the wound resulted from their improper wrapping..after a $2,200 surgery. I took him back to Banfield and they gave him the injectable antibiotics while also sharing with me that the bandage should have been removed to allow the wound to breathe and heal. I WOULD NOT recommend taking any pet here.

I had been a pet customer of Dr Christina and Arizona Animal Clinic for 2o years. Boy was wrong, Dr Christina and Arizona Animal Clinic are the very best in AZ. I no longer care about the drive and will continue taking all my animals to AZ Animal Clinic in Chandler. The other staff Veterinarians are great as well. Dr Mike is great. My dog has had ongoing constipation issues for the past year that other clinics have been unable to diagnose or treat, and was becoming a serious point of stress for my dog and our family. Doctor Phillip gave him a thorough examination and pointed to the problem immediately - I was stunned at how efficient this was diagnosed after looking so long for a solution. She referred us to a surgical center for treatment which was similarly awesome. My experience with all the staff at the clinic was great. Everyone was super helpful, empathetic, and attentive. I'd recommend the clinic to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: Staff was very friendly & my dog Cody felt very comfortable! They were able to get my appointment completed a lot faster than I thought, even with an x-ray taken during the appointment. And their prices are much more affordable compared to some other vets I've been too.

Experiencia negativa: They technically cared for my cat. I have a senior cat who needed an ultrasound ($880). I work 6-3 but they insisted I drop him off at 8am, so I had to arrange someone to drop him off for me. The clinic was informed I would be there at 3pm to pick my cat up, which gives them 7 hours to do an ultrasound. I arrive at 3:15 and they haven’t even started the ultrasound. They say they thought I wouldn’t be there until 5. I had pretty clearly stated I was going to be there at 3 (I had plans at 5), and on top of that, my senior cat sat in a cage for 7 hours for no reason. Do they wait until the last minute to do every procedure? It’s certainly not a good look for them. I had to rearrange my whole day for these folks and pay $900 for the privilege. I could have dropped my cat off after work and it wouldn’t have made a difference. And my underweight cat hadn’t eaten since the day before because they have to fast for the ultrasound. I expect baseline service when I’m paying premium prices. After going here for about 4 years, I think I’m done.

Experiencia negativa: Not a great first patient experience. We were informed the doctor would be 20 minutes behind, luckily I arrived fifteen minutes early, as requested. Basic exam and vaccinations for two dogs took nearly 90 minutes and I had to tell the front desk gals three times that I needed to get going. The receptionist forgot to give me the vaccination records I came for. I will absolutely not return to this practice.

They called me the next day and got me in on a cancelation. The doctor was very knowledgeable and my kitty is feeling better with her appetite stimulant. Experiencia negativa: I called to ask a few questions. I said I was a new patient, and the front desk lady was so hostile. Because of people like that, people make generalizations, and now I think that clinic doesn't have the patience or love to treat my dog. For me, first impressions are very important in these cases because we don't know, and I always try to find the best for my dog. Discarded!

Experiencia negativa: Very disappointed with how this clinic is handling things now. They clearly seem to be all about money which is not how they were for my first visit with my pet for an ear infection/hematoma three years ago. He was in and out in 15 minutes to have it drained and treated exceptionally well at a reasonable cost. This visit for the same issue was nothing like that. Before anything was even done all that wanted to be discussed was having to do a cosmetic surgery for $2000 that wouldn’t even prevent this from happening anymore. I said last time he was here for this you simply drained the ear and it was fine. Why are we talking about surgery that’s just cosmetic? I paid more than double I did last time because he became extremely agitated and wouldn’t let them drain it. Was told to come back at noon that same day and they would sedate him to do it. While again bringing up surgery. Had to tell them 3 different times I’m not interested in a surgery that’s wasn’t even presented the first time for this. Also pushing meds on me for him that I already explained several times I have at home. It was like talking to a wall and they wouldn’t take no for an answer or listen to what I was saying. Four days later they person the drainage just for his ear to be swelled up again immediately unlike the first time. And continue to tell me if it does I’ll have to do the surgery. Went from paying $300 the first time to close to $800 now and the issue isn’t even fixed. Like they didn’t do anything at all just so I’ll have to do the surgery. And when they called to check on him I told them his ear is swollen again already 12 hours later and they said to send pictures to check with the vet about it and they’d call me back and a day later no call back and his ear is worse. Arizona ave vet clinic has turned into just wanting money and not actually helping your pet or wanting to call you back about it even though I know they’d just tell me to do the surgery they tried pushing meds for three times that he didn’t need the first time three years ago for an ear infection when it was just going to be a cosmetic correction for the drainage they were supposed to fix. I will be getting a second opinion elsewhere and not trusting them again after this. Nothing about the visit seemed to have my pets actual best interest. It was simply about money. Not happy at all!

The staff was wonderful, so warm and kind. The doctor was thorough and great with our Buddy. She quickly diagnosed his issue and is now getting resolved. They are very affordable too. I am so happy we found them and highly recommend trying them out!!

Dr Brooke went out of her way to make sure she was not in pain, was eating enough, and recovering well. The kitty has completely recovered and just had a great check-up. The office staff is knowledgeable and courteous and is always available for questions. I would definitely recommend this veterinary clinic.

Experiencia negativa: The experience at first was a good one but then after sending our dog's stool sample to test for parasites (she's been having bad stools) , they phoned back saying everything was good. Yet we took her stool to another vet and it came back that there was something wrong. One Unfortunately has to wonder if we paid and they just did not test it at all.

Experiencia fantástica: We started bringing our pups here during Covid. Our dogs originally saw Dr Mike and we loved him! He retired and we now see either Dr Ayla or Dr Cassidy. We have been very happy with both!! They are thorough, they care, they give advice but no pressure, they take the time to answer all of my questions and they follow up. They are very compassionate and understand that our fur babies mean the world to us. The vet techs and the staff at the front desk are all friendly and helpful. In our five years of business with AZ Ave Animal Clinic we have been very happy with the care and communication. Experiencia fantástica: I have been using Dr. Ayla Kenney for I believe about two years, and after my experience with her I would have a very hard time trusting anyone else with my animals. I started using AZ Ave Animal Clinic when my dog Smokey had gotten sick. I took him to three different vets because I knew in my gut something was wrong with Smokey. Those three vets all told me I was over reacting and that Smokey just had allergies. Finally to took Smokey to AZ Ave Animal Clinic on my sisters recommendation. Dr. Ayla listened to my concerns and looked Smokey over and ran some tests and it was determined that Smokey would need a CT scan to look for cancer. She recommended a great specialist and after getting him in to see a specialist it was determined that Smokey had cancer. The specialist and Dr. Ayla did everything within their power to make Smokey comfortable and give him the best quality of life and were amazingly supportive during what ended up being my last few months with my best friend. When Dr. Ayla was informed that I had to take Smokey to the ER to have him put down I was sent a BEAUTIFUL hand written condolence card. Because of the way Dr. Ayla went above and beyond for me and Smokey when my boyfriend and I ended up adopting our puppy Finnigan I knew I wouldn’t feel comfortable with anyone else being in charge of Finnigan’s care. Dr. Ayla has been amazingly helpful with our journey with Finnigan answering any questions we have regarding his breed, and regarding raising him. (I had rescued Smokey when he was older over a year old and rescued Finnigan at two months so Finnigan is my first puppy). The staff at Arizona Avenue are great. Whenever we are waiting to get into our appointment they are always so friendly and it is never awkward to have to sit in the waiting room. Any time we call and ask for an estimate so we can go into our appointments with an idea of what we are going to spend they are always more than happy to accommodate us. Overall I have had nothing but good experiences with this vet.

Experiencia fantástica: We took our 10 yr old mini schnauzer to AZ Ave Animal Clinic to have her teeth dealt with. She has diabetes which aided in the decline of her teeth. The decision was made to have all of her teeth removed. Dr Ayla handled the whole procedure and kept us informed. She is an awesome, caring vet. This was done yesterday. We took Lucy home around 6pm and she slept good last night. This morning she ate a good puréed breakfast and is doing well. Thank you to everyone at AZ Ave Animal Clinic. I cannot thank Dr. Ayla, Dr. Cassidy, and Dr. Ashlynn enough for their hard work, kindness, and dedication to taking care of Oliver. Ollie was the bestest most empathetic boy and the vets went above and beyond for him. I will be forever thankful for all they’ve done for us. ♥️

Experiencia fantástica: Update 2024-12-17 Our dog gets really good care & attention when we take her for her annual health checkup and vaccinations. We don’t have trouble getting her out of the van anymore to go in even though she knows it’s not her daycare. Our dog is scheduled for surgery which we have faith all will go well. They do their best no matter what it is. Even if our dog passes away from any surgery we will know they all did whatever they could do. They are a great team of co workers. We will keep going to them & highly recommended them.

Experiencia negativa: I would give less if I could. I will start with that I had sent a text Monday that I had a dog needing euthanasia because of Kidney failure. The person who responded was very kind and answered my questions. I ended up going with a mobile vet so our dog could be at home when passing. The next day my dog was fading fast, I called asking if they could take him immediately under the circumstance. I was put on hold for several minutes and the vet was requesting vet records. While I am holding my dog in what became his last moments they wanted vet records. I told the lady on the phone she was very kind but that is an absolutely ridiculous request, and if that was the case then i will hang up and call somewhere else. I called another vet hospital that assisted when our other dog passed 2 years ago. Again the person that answered the phone was very kind but the vet being so difficult will make me never go here.

Experiencia fantástica: They got us in same day, I n fact within an hour for my dog was having an allergic reaction to something. Dr. Cassidy and her assistant were very kind, patient and thorough! I did not feel rushed and all of our concerns were addressed. My dog is a nervous reck and they kept her very comfortable.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm impressed with everything I experienced at Arizona Ave. Animal Clinic. Clean overall, friendly staff, knoweledgeable vet, good prices. The only thing I would have changed is no previous dog hair on the floor when my dog was laying down.

Experiencia negativa: I am very disappointed by the experienced received with Arizona Ave Animal Clinic last month. I have been takin my dog for years here but with new stuff it doesn’t work for me anymore. First thing this clinic offers for to any dogs over 10 years is put it down with fake sad attitude. When I ask about experience from the vet, she was so rude and unprofessional. they charge me tons of money but just by age of my dog they wanted to put him down. Fortunately, I took him to Gilbert Veterinary which with couple test and medication he is 100% well. Do not trust their advisees it’s All about the money.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience for our dog Kimi. I couldn't get into my typical vet due to bad timing, a recent acquirement, and trend in their service. I was referred to Arizona Avenue and loved the experience. Staff was polite and handled everything perfectly. Love the phone app and ability to communicate over the phone. We were able to get Kimi the meds she needs and ran a few tests while we were there. I felt that they were very mindful of our furry friend and for us as owners. They made sure we could get the best care for Kimi while not wasting anyone's time. I will be switching primary vets and will come to Arizona Avenue from now on.

Experiencia fantástica: We take both our cat and dog here and they are always so caring and friendly! Our dog is a bit reactive to other dogs and they are super helpful by letting us wait in the car and come in the side door for our appointment. Definitely a great vet that will take care of your fur babies!

Experiencia negativa: These people are so awful they fake being nice at the counter but they only care about money here. The front desk quotes you a price and it’s always 10 times more than what they say. Or I had one tell me $100-$500 when I asked a simple question how much two tests were. There all about adding on tests here anything to rack up the money. My dog had taken the same medication for years without it he would die and they said it’s been a 10 months he needs to be seen again before we prescribe anymore medication! The vets are all over the place one will prescribe a medication and the other will say never to give that medication. Also have had a vet tell me medical advice on something that was completely wrong. The one vet is really nice but very young, like she just got out of school. obviously not her fault but she just doesn’t exactly have the experience yet, it feels like all about the books here instead of someone who knows things and sits and explains things and try’s to save you money.
