Experiencia fantástica: love this place my family has been going here for years, We have had to put several animals to sleep during our years here :0( just recently had to put our 14 year old chi ollie to sleep last week, so appreciated the dr. telling me that is would be the best thing to do at this point..... without ordering more tests, medication x-ray etc to pump the bill up. they even sent us a card so thoughtful! the staff and front desk girls are caring helpful and compassionate.

Experiencia fantástica: Surprise Animal Hospital and grooming is a great place to bring your pet. The team there are very compassionate and take time to go over options for your pet. My dog broke her tooth on a bone so we knew it needed to be removed and she also at a lump that needed to be removed. There were other places I could have went to save a little money, but because this place shows they care about your pet, that was more important. I was given xrays after surgery and the vet pulled two teeth and treated her gums and removed a lot of tartar. Also the site where lump was removed is doing great. I was so happy with the medical care our dog received. Our vets name was Dr. Feng. They al seem very good from the receptionists to the rest of the team. When I picked up our dog, the technician reviewed everything they did and clear instructions on what to do at home. I highly recommend Surprise Animal Hospital and grooming.

Experiencia fantástica: Daisy was having episodes and we had no idea what was wrong. The doctor gave her a very thorough check up and found no real problems. Rather than order costly tests, the doctor chose to put Daisy on a medicine and she also gave her pain meds in case we needed them. I was very pleased and for sure will use Lovet from now on.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been taking my pups here for over 10 years. The vets don’t force you to do anything you don’t want to do. They don’t force you to spend an arm and a leg either. They actually care deeply for animals and try to work with you financially should you need something expensive done. And that’s if there is something expensive needing to be done. Which is not even often, if ever. After my sweet girl passed away, they sent a beautiful letter to us proving their condolences and love. I’ll never go to another vet!

They took the time to walk me through what could be going on and explained everything clearly and patiently. I was very emotional, and the team was incredibly compassionate and understanding while I cried. Even though the results weren’t what I had hoped for, I’m so grateful they helped make her comfortable and supported us through it. Their kindness during such a stressful time truly stood out. Easy to schedule. They are very communicative and pleasant. The veterinarian I had was very caring and professional. All in all a great first time visit!

Experiencia negativa: Don’t go here for overseas travel.. went for last 6 months with our dog to move to Japan. Great service until it came to the last part the “health certificate”. It has to be done within 10 days of travel. We went in 3 days before our travel and gave all info to them for the health certificate. They bill us $600+ and then after say “good luck this might not be done in time for your travel because it takes 3-5 days to get back… AFTER THEY CHARGED US! We went to a vet on the military base and it cost us $50 and we got it done and approved in 15 min… I called to get a refund and to cancel the PENDING certificate, they told me “we can cancel it but you won’t get a refund” they said they still charge for “all the work they did for the certificate” meanwhile we gave them most the info that went on it and the bill was for all the USDA work, basically everything is way over priced and don’t recommend..

Lovet and Dr. Blue welcomed me with open arms, knew exactly what they were doing with the International Health Certificates I needed, and treated me and my pets with dignity, love and laughter. THIS is how you do animal care! After a disgusting experience at Cityvet Surprise I had some trepidation walking into Lovet, but the experience was the polar opposite - instead of being condescended to, given wrong directions, and generally treated as a nuisance like I was at Cityvet, this Lovet practice could NOT have been more professional, compassionate and wonderful. Two thumbs waaaaay up! Myself and my 2 cats and dogs are safely ensconced in our new home in Italy and it's only because of Lovet Surprise!!! Thank you to everyone and Dr. Blue!

Experiencia positiva: I believe the Vets and staff are absolutely caring and have great compassion for our pets. With that said, this is a franchise vet that charges way too much, shotgun approach to care and many unnecessary tests. We took our dog for new onset diarrhea with occasional wet stool. We put our dog on the rice and chicken diet without any significant changes. The clinic wanted to run several tests and give her unnecessary fluids. The total bill was around $750 initially but we decided fluids were unnecessary and opted out of them. In the end our total bill was over $650! Never again. If the Vet goes into private practice, we would see her again.

Experiencia fantástica: We just moved here and our 14 year old dog was having trouble breathing and seemed to be in oral pain. They were able to get him in the next day. We came home with heart meds and antibiotics and he is doing incredible! We are so grateful for their thorough care and expertise!

Experiencia negativa: Brought my dog in for a suspected bowel blockage. Had X-rays. Dr. Wasn’t sure it was blocked or what it could be, but thought surgery was necessary. First red flag. Turns out dog was diabetic and possible liver issues. Ok. I can deal with that. Dies next day after being sent home with insulin. 4400 dollars to be talked to by a vet who seemed to be fresh out of school and zero people skills. I will never ever ever set foot in there again. (I will say the techs were nothing but kind, but I still don’t have my 5 year old dog.) Just sad and traumatic.

Experiencia negativa: Brought sick dog in respiratory distress-$600.00 later sent home with clean bill of health. A week later dog is at deaths doorstep. Bring him in again-$600.00 more dollars, zero diagnosis and they're asking for more money for more tests that will show nothing. DO. NOT. WASTE. YOUR. MONEY. WITH. THESE. PEOPLE

Experiencia negativa: Our youngest dog broke her claw and it needed to be removed. She had to be sedated when we picked her up her leg was bandaged and we were told to bring her back in 3 days to remove the bandage. She wore an e collar the whole time and Thursday afternoon the bandage fell off. We put another bandage at home which stayed on until her next appointment. After the bandage was removed we were told it needed a few more days and had to be bandaged again they told us it would cost $67.00. We felt after paying $540.00 for the procedure and how the first bandage fell off we should not have to pay that ridiculous amount and told them we would bandage it ourselves. Surprise Animal Hospital had been seeing our dogs for 10 years and we have spent well over $12,000 over that time but we were always treated well. Lovet cares more about the money than the pets so we are changing vets.

Experiencia fantástica: Had my Shih Tzu in a few months ago to have a sex reassignment (), anyway recently I called and spoke with one of the office personnel to get an answer to a question. They were receptive and gave me advice and did recommend that I take my dog to s full vet office and get a complete examination which they really specialize in surgery. They were helpful and at least took my call. They mentioned if I need anything else to call them. Very caring and show an interest in the animals they have treated. I did go to a vet location up the street from my house and had the dog checked out. He is OK and goes in next month for his 1 year old visit and annual shots.

Experiencia negativa: It’s upsetting that they won’t continue prescribing my boy his allergy pills and require me to come to their location so I can pay for an office visit so I can tell the doctor he still as allergies. He doesn’t have preexisting issues or new issues. I understand they need money for the business but it would be easier if they just told me to Zelle them money straight and they’ll order him the refill.

Lovet surprise has great people working there that seem to really care about my dogs. Last time we were there they came out with summer bandanas. So cute!

Get down to their level when I first started going to surprise animal hospital, all the vets used to get down to their level and make them feel comfortable. The last time we came in, the vet did not do that. And my dog kinda sneered at her it took a little while for my dog to feel comfortable.

We had to show up at the vet to try to save our babies life right when they opened, although the staff said they couldn’t get to us right away, they did. And everyone was so loving and caring during a very difficult time and for us and we felt so supported. If you ever have to trust this process with anyone, I would trust it with this team. Experiencia negativa: I am very disappointed in how my cat was handled at this office. I take my cat in for possible multiple extractions. They end up doing a dental cleaning and several extractions. My cat has had a cleaning with 1 tooth extraction before with no issues. She was under anesthesia for too long for being such a little cat. She ended up throwing a clot and my cat was perfectly healthy otherwise the teeth issues that I thought we were taking care of. They keep telling me it was a underlining condition that caused this, no I don't think so. They wanted me to go into a emergency vet to watch her overnight and if I had those kind of funds I would have instead elected to take her home and watch her all night as I did they said she just needs time.Brought her back in the next morning to tell me she was blind and neurological deficits again said give it some more time. Day 2 of having her home no sleep watching her like a hawk I knew something was not right. By Sunday evening I had to take her to another vet open on Sunday and took her in and had to put my baby girl down barley 2yrs of age. The other vet said that she was in a lot of pain and that she should have been put down before I even bringing home the first time. I am just devastated and heartbroken to know that my cat going in was fine and dosnt come back out, never in my entire life have I had my animal pass away from getting dental cleaning and teeth extractions before. I miss my sweet baby and nothing can bring her back.

Experiencia negativa: I felt like the main goal of the visit was to upsell as much as possible. Prices seemed to be pretty high. The amount I was told I would be paying was not the same as what I was charged at the end. They took my dog out of the exam room and conducted a heartworm test on her after I had been told I could just get the medication without the testing. When they took her, I was under the impression they would just be trimming her nails and cleaning an area on her ear where she had scratched herself. I was also told the results of the heartworm test would be sent to me by email or text, but that never happened. I mentioned all of this when they texted me today to see how the visit went. They immediately dismissed it as a “misunderstanding”. I will be looking for a more reputable veterinarian.

Experiencia positiva: I’ve been going to Surprise Animal hospital for a while now. Now that’s Lovet, I’m not as impressed. The vet wasn’t very friendly, and didn’t interact with my dog at all when she was in the room with me. They also do all pet exams outside of the room, which I didn’t like because I wasn’t able to see what was going on with my dog. The front desk staff wasn’t very friendly either. I’m not sure what changed with this appointment, but I wasn’t very happy.

Carein Surprise all the staff are the most loving, caring people we have all confidence that our furr babies are safe and well taken care of we have a Lovet closer to us since we moved but we still go to Surprise they know how we are and they know all our babies that well be our place to take our furr babies all ways you guys are the best keep up the go TLC we get you 10 stars

Experiencia negativa: We would give this visit a one star if it wasn’t for Kaylee. When we were bringing our English Mastiff into and out of the office, most of the employees didn’t seem to be very welcoming or have a passion for dogs. The veterinarian that saw our dog gave us misinformation. She told us that our English Mastiff would stop growing after one year, which is incorrect. Giant breeds grow for at least 18 months if not 2 years. Our main issue going there was the quantity of food we should feed her. The veterinarian said that she would email us the proper amount within a few days of our visit. Well, we still haven’t received that information yet and I’m not sure I would trust her now anyway. We won’t be coming back or would not recommend anyone here.

I went to check in one cat and ask for medications, and when I asked about my second cat, they said I could go grab them and come right back without scheduling another appointment a week out. I was so grateful they made time for my boys. Staff was professional and treated my cats very well. No complaints and we will come back.

Experiencia negativa: Ever since the company was bought out and had a staff change this place has been awful. This place used to be amazing with nice staff, amazing groomers, and decent prices. Now that they have been bought out the staff have been acting entitled, unprofessional and downright rude. One of their vets told me my dog needed a surgery urgently that he didn't even need, and a front desk staff told me my dog couldn't take a medication he had been prescribed because it was "very dangerous" when it was not. they also have raised their prices. I tried to switch vets and the final straw was calling to get my pets medical files to transfer them and they told me they had never seen him before. I would go somewhere else if I were you.

Owned by the Aspen Group. Since the departure of Dr. Casler in 2024. Since 2015, my pet received exemplary care under Dr. Casler at what was then Surprise Animal Hospital. However, following the change in ownership and the subsequent rebranding to AZ Pet Vet and now Lovet Pet Hospital, the quality of care has significantly declined. It has become disturbingly clear that the priority has shifted from the well-being of the pets to profit margins. The care my pet has received in the absence of Dr. Casler has been substandard. There appears to be a focus on expediting procedures to serve more clients rather than providing thorough and compassionate treatment. This has left me questioning the integrity and commitment of your staff to animal welfare. l urge you to reconsider your current practices, as they do not align with the expectations of pet owners who seek quality veterinary care. I strongly advise anyone who values the health and comfort of their pets to avoid your services at all your locations.

Experiencia fantástica: Compassionate, Affordable, and Truly Caring! I can’t say enough great things about Lovett Vet Hospital in Surprise (formerly Surprise Animal Hospital). They went above and beyond for me and my dog, Rusty. Not only did they accommodate us with a last-minute appointment at 3:30, but they also trimmed his nails for free—knowing I’m in a financial bind while transitioning between work and freelancing. They also performed a cytology on a mass that had formed in his groin area, giving me much-needed peace of mind about his health. Their kindness, understanding, and support—both emotionally and financially—meant the world to me. Another huge plus is that they’re open on Saturdays from 8 AM to 3 PM, which makes scheduling so much easier. They even offer payment options, making quality pet care more accessible. Experiencia fantástica: The vets and personnel listen to our fur baby concerns. We certainly appreciate this as with a previous vet, this did not appear to be the case and two babies passed away. Our “girls” love the staff at Surprise Animal Hospital (now Lovet Pet Health Care). Just had a first-time dental cleaning on our latest rescue. Everything was explained very well ahead of the scheduling and then procedure and went accordingly. Gabby is doing great! Highly recommend this practice and location.

Experiencia fantástica: My dog has been having issues with his right eye. White murky stuff in the eye and he is also having issues with his left ear. We came here and we're treated nicely and were able to help with both issues. Dr. Muñoz, really helped my doggy. Let's hope that the medicine will help my poor pup.

Experiencia negativa: Our dog is on medicine and had to go with oit because 1 counter person at 805 in the morning said they would get it taken care of and then called back about 2 and a dude said he saw no information about is and would try to get it done and she has to go all weekend without. Before this a vet visit before the saw at her office no vaccines and disnit ask and gave her all her shots again and it had been only 4 months before and I checked and that could have kill her, a little scary if you ask me

Experiencia negativa: We had been bringing our pets to this location for years, and they used to be so helpful and compassionate. Dr. Feng diagnosed our dog with early-stage cancer in his front left leg after testing for Valley Fever after we had noticed him favoring and limping on it. Her only option was to put him down, even when we asked what could be done if money were no object. The answer remained the same: put him down. As pet owners, it was incredibly hard to hear such news. Given that he was healthy, happy, and energetic, we sought a second opinion. After tests and X-rays(which were not even offered or considered at AZPETVET), it was concluded that the cancer had not spread to his lungs or the rest of his body, and amputation was an option to prolong and improve his quality of life. It's been months now, and he's happy, healthy, and has already adjusted, loving his new lease on life. We're glad we got the second opinion, but it's sad to see the corporate focus on quick turnarounds since the facility's new ownership and purchase.

Experiencia negativa: I spoke to Alisa, and someone brought my dog Tony in that hospital. I told her he was taken, and they wouldn't even keep him so I could fly out there and get my baby. They claim they don't hold strays pitiful. At least I know he's alive. I pray whoever has him. They take good care of him. God bless This is in Arizona!

Experiencia positiva: Yesterday we came in and had to put our family pup of 10 years to rest. Doctor Blue and her Tech (I’m so sorry I don’t remember your name) were great and so sweet and helpful through our whole process. You guys are truly great at your job ! I would have given 5 stars but to the lady with the colorful hair at the front desk who first greeted me when I walked in to get a slip lead I urge you to rethink the things you say to owners who have no idea what is going to happen to their family dog that day. Saying my mom was in hysterics when she called wasn’t the first thing I wanted to hear from you when I walked through the door of the hospital, she was crying yes but there’s no need to talk about her being “hysterical” through the tough time we were bracing our self to endure.

Experiencia positiva: We love the service and care provided by the professional staff of this office. I do, however, dislike with a passion their new automated receptionist service. It takes the person away from personal care and makes any attempt to reach them a much longer and more tedious experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Incredible experience, the office is very clean and the staff are all so welcoming and kind. Dr. Lewis was very thorough, gentle and caring, she took the time and listened to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions. I didn't feel rushed and the care was not rushed. Emily was great too. Thank you for treating us with such kindness and care. I will definitely be recommending to all of my family and friends.

Experiencia fantástica: i am so pleased with the entire staff. always a smile when we get in. doctors do a complete check-up, and a follow up call the next day to see how my kitties are doing. a couple of years ago, they had to put down one of my cats. they stayed with me, kindness and helped get me thru this terrible time. thanks to you all.

Experiencia fantástica: Thank you so much to everyone that helped our Nala girl. Yesterday we had some concerns and the vets office off Cotton and the 303 helped get us in right away. They took our concerns to heart and examined our dog more thoroughly than I had expected. Sad to say, Nala needed surgery. They did not have availability but helped call around and got us in at this vet office for same day surgery. Let me tell you, this was the best experience we could have imagined! Everyone here was so heartfelt and went over all of our options. We didn’t feel pressured and felt so taken care of. Their prices were honest with many different payment options. Even when they realized in surgery that some things we were quoted on weren't present in surgery, they reduced the bill instead of just keeping our quote as is. I have the most respect for this place because of that! They took such great care of Nala and loved on her while we were gone and anxiously waiting to pick her up. I can’t thank you guys enough!

Experiencia positiva: I would love to give a 5 star but I’m just so disheartened by the way they made out their “marble” urn to be. My beloved pet was 13 years old and I can’t help but feel like she deserves much better than this plastic container with a sticker name tag on it (that I HAD to remove) . This urn was described to me as “a beautiful marble urn” when in reality it’s a plastic container with the best 13 years of my life inside. The staff were amazing and I have 0 complaints there but I do think you should do better for your clients loved ones. I’m upset because if I knew what I was getting, I would have upgraded In a heartbeat & I wish I knew what I was truly getting

Experiencia negativa: ***Groomer is unreliable *** I have not had good luck with groomers in Surprise but settled on this place because it’s also where we take the dog for care. The care is adequate. I don’t know if it’s good or bad, but my dog is healthy as she can be. The groomer needs to be replaced. Doesn’t really do a good job matching it to the breed but my dog was trimmed so I dealt with it. Appointment have to be made a few months(at least) ahead of time. Standard for surprise. They have rescheduled with me 3 times the day of appointment. The last time: I scheduled an appointment for a Friday which was very easy for me as i had no other obligations that day and my dog really needed it. Got a call 30 minutes prior saying the groomer would reschedule with me the following day. She did reschedule for an inconvenient date but my dog needs a trim. Day of I arrive 30 minutes early. They said I was 2.5 hours late. I wouldn’t have rescheduled during my dentist appointment. They said it was rescheduled from the day before but I am always too busy on Thursdays . I think the groomer either messed up or is shady. I did have a slight outburst which I feel bad for the poor young lady that had to break the news to me because the shady groomer couldn’t do it herself. All the same my family is breaking association from both the groomer and the hospital.
