Experiencia fantástica: I am SO happy I found Lovet. I absolutely love that you can go to any location. I've been to 2 of them so far and I love our experiences every time. The ladies who check us in our great! Amazing techs, that are nice, explain things, and have helped me get the door when my hands were full with multiple pets. I love when we get put in a room and they have my babies names on a cute little chalkboard lol. It's so personable. I find it so sweet when they may have a animal that needs to join my babies in heaven, and they have a candle lit to let us know to be silent during that heart-breaking time. It's the little things . And all the Dr's we've seen are amazing too. I'm thankful they're patient with one of my pitbulls because she has a hard time with vet visits. I tell anyone I can about them

Experiencia negativa: If zero stars were an option, that’s what this experience would deserve. The staff was friendly, but the care was dangerously inadequate. Shilo had a visible obstruction on X-ray, yet we were told to “wait and see” and repeat additional imaging instead of acting on what was already clear. There was a lack of urgency, poor communication, and no real accountability. They also did not promptly release his medical records to another veterinarian, forcing us to pay for duplicate X-rays. This should have been treated as a medical emergency. The delay could have cost him his life. Friendly service isn’t enough, competence and urgency matter.

Experiencia fantástica: TAKE YOUR PET HERE! It has been hard finding a vet that cares about the pet and not the prices. Lovet-Happy Valley has been a wonderful experience and I'm so glad I took a chance to try them out. Front desk-awesome, techs-great, vet's-amazing! My dog is a hot mess and it's been hard to diagnose her issues without taking out a loan. Every time I took her into Lovet they gave me options for treatment, not peddling the most expensive thing. The most amazing part of this experience is the communication. They always follow up about how my dog is doing. Then, if you have questions they work with you to get you answers on next best steps. Other vets would just have me bring my dog back in and charge me for the visit with no answers. I LOVE this place and I highly recommend it. It's convenient that it's close to me, but even if it were far from my house I would make the drive.

My most recent visit for my youngest dog involved many a heart felt condolence for the recent loss of my oldest dog, who had been coming to this office since we adopted her 8 years ago. We moved a bit farther away from this office but will continue to bring our girls here for thier needs due to the incredible staff.

Experiencia fantástica: This vet is amazing they have been my vet for the past 8 years. The staff are so kind and understanding as well. We lost our fur babies princess and diamond this past week and the whole staff was so kind to my children and I I will forever be thankful for the whole staff and thank you so much for the flowers you sent after my babies passed. Experiencia negativa: My daughter took her kitten to their hospital telling them that she was on a tight budget. The kitten died within 15 minutes and they charged her pretty close to $400 for 15 minutes which most of that 15 minutes she was sitting in the room alone with the kitten. They knew there was nothing that they could do for this poor kitten and yet still charged her an incredible amount knowing that there was not going to make it . they know It was nothing they can do for this kitten shame on them knowing it was going to pass away to go out of their way to make the bill go up isn't it a shame how they treat grieving pet parents? I know myself. I took my cat who was dying to a vet who tried everything to save him but he passed anyway and they didn't charge me a dime. Not a penny. That's what you call compassion. They didn't try to rob me like this place robbed my daughter.

Experiencia fantástica: Yuki has had a pretty good experience so far as she’s had a ton of surgeries in one appointment done! The entire staff & doctors were very attentive and it was quick to schedule an appointment the day after getting a check up to get everything done that needed to be done. The follow up texts and aftercare instructions put me at ease and everyone was easy to work with as well as accommodating. Shoutout to Kim as she was really kind to help with any questions or concerns as well as a payment plan as I picked Yuki up after her surgery and she also helped me take her to my car. Thanks for being so thoughtful! Thank you to Dr. Chen and Dr. Balu also for the great care. It’s been a whirlwind as my family and I have just recently lost our youngest yorkie baby boy Leo just last month very abruptly (7/27/25) and this was a breath of fresh air as we were concerned for Yuki. It was nice to feel at ease during the process as well as informed about everything that was going on. We are glad we were able to do something for our precious baby girl. Yuki is currently recovering well & quickly as she sure is a fighter this one

Experiencia negativa: Truly disappointed with the level of care my cat received. The vet tech was very dismissive as my cat seemed fine generally looking at him, which seems obvious, and is exactly why I brought him in to get checked out further. He did a quick glance at him physically and deemed that he was fine, but I wanted them to do blood work anyways to narrow down any viral infections. They did so and called me to confirm that all looked well, then suggested he may have a blockage in his urinary tract as I’d informed them he wasn’t going to the litter as frequently. Over the phone, she tells me they’d recommend I come in, again, so they can do a urinary sample. I get ANOTHER call claiming that they actually DID get one, beyond my knowledge because I never asked for that during my initial visit, & tell me they did notice some mineralization and recommend I buy a prescription urinary diet. I’ll also note that her words were “WE COULDN’T FIND THE RESULTS AT FIRST BECAUSE THE LAB LABELED THEM INCORRECTLY.” Anyways, I already spent $400+ for a poorly done physical exam, blood work, & now additionally $30+ for a prescription diet. I trusted them and to my surprise he was getting even worse - entirely lethargic, he was so sick I wasn’t sure he’d get better at all. So we scheduled with an entirely different office because I felt this Lovet office was negligent; which they were. Our new vet did another physical exam where he IMMEDIATELY noticed his tongue had painful ULCERS stemming from a respiratory infection. Not sure how you’d miss that when this was the first thing the new vet pointed out. Mind you, this new office visit wasn’t even a few days apart from this mentioned visit. Then, they wanted to review the urinary + blood results obtained from Lovet so I handed off all the info so they could reach out and when they did, YOU GUYS COULDNT FIND ANYTHING TO PROVIDE THEM WITH. Literal insanity, if you love your animals at all, you’d stay far away from this negligent & careless team.

Experiencia negativa: I made an appointment for a simple nail trim and anal gland expression for my dog and I ended up being trapped in the exam room, looking at a bill for $200! $75 was for an exam that I didn’t ask for (The vet spent about two minutes looking at my pup, listening to her heart and looking in her ears), and $39 For a Bordetella vaccine that she doesn’t need and I didn’t ask for (she doesn’t board or go to dog parks). No discussion of the need for the vaccine, just a swift injection of the needle because it was showing as overdue on her chart. All I ask, is before the vet performs the services, they go through all of the different fees And treatments and get the clients understanding and permission. Being trapped in an exam room having to pay a much larger than bill that expected results in a very negative feeling on the part of the customer. Unfortunately, this isn’t a place I would recommend…

Experiencia negativa: Took our dog in for a blister on her private area. Also for an ear infection which she has been seen for before at another clinic. Everything was dismissed as “no big deal”. They offered to take a sample of the blister “if they could get one” because she was wound up from being at the vet, and for $330 tell us if there was anything to worry about using in house screening. The other option was to see what it does over the next couple months. What Then the ear infection which she has previously diagnosed with, and we had the medication and prescription information, was declined. Instead we were provided a steroid for her ear, which has not done anything. Lastly, they didn’t even clean her ear or administer the first dose of steroid. At check-in, the people at the front desk didn’t even want to help try get our girl weighed. Kept talking from behind the desk, just as they did back when they were Happy Valley Animal Hospital. We’ll never be back, and will go back to our previous vet that has some compassion and is willing to listen and take care of our pup. Not sure our vet at Lovet even had a degree in Veterinary Medicine. They are keeping true to the Happy Valley Animal Hospital name, albeit under the Lovet name now.

Experiencia negativa: I have been going to the previous vet for over 15 years. Once they transferred over to Lovet, they went downhill fast! I had a new puppy visit recently and the vet barely spent ANY time with my dog or checked her out physically....just checked his temperature and gave him shots.. I could've taken her to a clinic for that kind of care...and paid a lot less. In addition, I took one of my older dogs here a couple months ago and was told he had a bunch of growths in his skull and basically said he was on hospice. No sympathy, but asked if I wanted to make arrangements right then to put him down! Glad I didn't, because he is still doing great, has had NO decline, and living a great life. I will not be returning and taking all 4 of my dogs elsewhere. So sad, because Happy Valley Animal Hospital was the most amazing place for my pets.

Experiencia negativa: Actually a very nice staff so no knock on that but our dog was severely misdiagnosed here. Because we followed the vets instructions, getting a correct diagnoses was put off while we ran part of the treatment course prescribed here. Fortunately we could tell it did not seem to be working and took the dog to a different vet who recommended and ran the proper tests and provided the proper treatment. Also at a fraction of the cost, apparently this vet is severely overpriced.

Experiencia negativa: First time trying this place and it was a bad idea!! This place only cares about getting money and how much they can get. Took my girl dog here bc of a lump and the vet told me she can run a test to see what it is… ends up being cancer? Or maybe she would have to run more test to be sure it’s cancer.. then I ask for a estimate for removal of “cancer” surgery super outrageous price one close to 5k along with her saying she might not be able to get all the mass/cancer out?.. there was so many what ifs and unkwown where I couldn’t trust her judgment. I’m taking my girl to another vet where they have more experience.

Experiencia fantástica: I have seen several vet clinics and veterinarians in the NW area and I finally found a place where I feel like the staff has your best interest and your pet's best interest at heart. Recently, we had to place our sweet boy down due to old age and illness. Dr. Jonas and the technician, Jenna, were both so sweet, caring and patient with us as we prepared to say goodbye to our dog which was incredibly hard and emotional for us. Dr. Jonas has helped us with several issues with all of our dogs and she always is so kind, thorough and explains clearly the options and best course of action based on what we feel comfortable with. I am so grateful we found Dr. Jonas and the staff here at this location to help us when our fur babies need care and support.

Experiencia positiva: I was deeply disappointed by my recent experience with this clinic, which ultimately led me to seek care elsewhere. Happy Valley had been our vet for several years, and until now, our experiences had been positive. However, their lack of concern for my dog’s condition was shocking. I brought in my 6yo dog after she had two seizures within a couple of hours. Although she has epilepsy, this was unusual for her, especially since her medication had been managing it well. Just days earlier, during her annual check-up, the vet had advised against increasing her dosage. In addition to the seizures, she was experiencing prolonged muscle tremors and unusual behavior that lasted for over an hour at a time and recurred throughout the day. Despite these symptoms, the clinic showed little concern, did not run bloodwork, and did not consider her condition abnormal. Later, I messaged to report that the tremors and strange behavior continued, as well as the fact that my older dog had been vomiting throughout the day. Their response was dismissive, suggesting my younger dog was simply in pain and offering pain medication without recommending another evaluation. I strongly suspected my dogs had been exposed to something on their walk, so when we spoke again the next morning I expressed my concerns and my disappointment in how the situation had been handled. By that point, I had lost trust in the vet and had already begun searching for another vet who would take my concerns seriously. My dog’s condition was not improving, and I knew something was wrong. Instead of calling to discuss the issue, the clinic sent a brief text message apologizing and offering a call with the director. While a phone call would have been helpful, I don’t consider text an appropriate way to handle a serious complaint. I responded that I was open to a conversation if they wanted to resolve the issue, but no one followed up or contacted me in the days that followed. The lack of support was incredibly disappointing. I have since moved to a different clinic, where the staff took the time to thoroughly evaluate my dog, discuss options, and provide treatment that actually helped her improve. Had I not had several years of positive experiences with Happy Valley, this would be a much lower rating than 3 stars. Because most of the vets and staff here are truly great, I was ready to dismiss the incident as a one off and continue doing business with them. However, the lack of follow up was the nail in the coffin that led me to conclude that I can no longer entrust my animal’s care to them.

We took our dog to a different place and she was so scared, curled up in the corner in the room and we could hear her screaming in the room they trim her nails. Here they were super gentle with her and really informative. They took her to get her nails trimmed and she came back happier than ever. Highly recommend this pet healthcare center!

Great staff and business. Referred to this location by friend. Only downside is that they aren't closer to my home.

Experiencia fantástica: I took my Corgi mix into Happy Valley Animal Hospital. We received the most compassionate, professional, and amazing care. My baby was diagnosed with IVDD. Dr. Elsing and the technician who cared for Bean, words will not convey my deepest gratitude for how well you helped Bean, but also me. The front desk staff who greeted us and have answered or relayed updates and questions… amazing people too. I highly recommend this Animal Hospital. 5 stars all around!!! Experiencia negativa: If your pet is actually struggling and in need of real care DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Useless staff from the front desk it them thing, to the young nurses with no knowledge, to the vet. This is the only place I know of and put my trust into, I brought my cat in 3 days ago and the nurse said upon physical examination he is fine, offered $400 for blood work with no explanation of why, I took him home with medication they prescribed. Yesterday he was in really bad condition so I brought him back over, the new nurse didn't even check on him she just brought him back for blood work and said she'd be back in to discuss payment. Thankfully they brought a different nurse and Dr who we're actually decent and helped redo the initial exam (waived the fee) & come up with a conclusion. And the conclusion was that he was too far gone and I should be open to euthanizing him. Today my cat passed away at home at 5-6 years old. Like I said if you just need nurturing or vaccinations I wouldn't be worried to take your pet here. Other than that they have proven themselves to me incompetent and useless in the care and treatment of animals. Honestly depressing but this review is strictly objective. God bless

I had a very sick family dog that I took there when he got worse and thru the whole process they were so supportive and helped our family get thru a tough time. I've never had a bad encounter there or left feeling like my animal was not well taken care of. I recommend this facility.

Although I opted to limit the diagnostic tools, Dr. Derfler did not minimize my decision but rather used her expertise to offer solution options that I was comfortable with. A zillion thank you’s!!!

Experiencia negativa: My baby passed away just an hour after leaving the vet. When we first arrived, he was in poor condition and appeared to be experiencing chest pain. The vet suggested administering pain medications, one for a possible dental disease and another for potential arthritis. He also noted that my baby’s heart murmur had progressed to stage 6 but did not hear fluid in the lungs, so he did not think that was the cause of his low energy and lack of appetite. I expressed concern about his apparent chest pain, as he wouldn’t sit or lie down comfortably. Dr. L. explained that dogs can express pain in different ways, and it could be related to either the dental disease or arthritis. Despite my baby’s heavy breathing and lack of energy, he was muzzled due to the vet's protocols. We were there for about two hours. After administering the injections, the vet mentioned that my baby might have a heart issue and suggested monitoring him closely, advising us to take him to the ER if his condition worsened. Once we got home, his breathing initially improved, but within 30 minutes, he suddenly collapsed. My mom noticed foam coming from his nose and mouth, and he began panting uncontrollably with unblinking eyes. As my dad rushed to get the keys and wallet for the ER, he stopped breathing within less than two minutes, with his eyes still open. This experience was incredibly traumatic for my family. We sought help from the vet to save him, but it feels like their actions only contributed to his suffering. We cannot understand why the vet did not recognize how critical his condition was an hour before his death or why the injections were deemed necessary at that time. Our poor baby passed away in pain and distress. I would recommend this clinic only for vaccinations and regular check-ups, not for treatments. I’m still bewildered as to why they didn’t recommend going to the ER immediately upon assessing our baby’s condition. It feels like their priority was to increase the bill rather than address his urgent needs.
Experiencia negativa: If I could leave less than one star I would. In April my girl Roxy became ill on a Saturday. Since my vet was closed I took her to UNhappy valley. They did x rays and determined she needed surgery but because I didn’t have 1000 dollars to put down they refused to help her. They gave me a list of organizations that help sick dogs but you have to apply to them. They watched, stone faced as I wept and then left. When My vet was open I took her in, and by that time she was infected. They did surgery and accepted my monthly payments. Unfortunately , Roxy went downhill and I had to make the decision to let her go peacefully. Everyone at Sun City Animal Hospital was compassionate and wonderful. You , so called happy valley, killed my dog. My bill with you is paid in full, although I should not have paid anything. I would really like you to reimburse me. Worst ever vet experience in my life! Experiencia negativa: Purchased the vaccination package for my dog approximately 1yr ago when my dog turned 1. Packages included free vaccines for life, aside from paying an office visit each time at 50% reduced rate. Well, shame on me for not keeping the paperwork as it was time for my dogs 2yr shots this past week, but when I brought her in, I was charged a full office visit fee of $75. $75 office visit fee to get shots that I could have gotten at a vaccination clinic for free (no office visit fee)?!? My wife was in/out in 5 minutes…. Complete joke… both my wife and I tried speaking with them regarding this in which they insisted 50% off office visit for shots was not part of the deal. 100% false based on what was shared with me when I signed up for the package. Buyer beware…..

Experiencia negativa: I had an extremely disappointing experience at this vet clinic. Melissa, who attended to us, seemed very unconfident in her skills, making us feel uneasy about the care our puppy would be receiving. On top of that, we were given false price estimates, which ended up being much higher than initially quoted. Melissa was also quite judgmental of our choices, which made the entire visit uncomfortable. I am extremely appalled and dissatisfied that I had to pay the outrageous $74 exam fee without receiving any services in return. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone looking for professional and respectful veterinary care.

The kind staff at Happy Valley Animal Hospital were able to get us in same day for an exam, had xrays done AND READ, and meds prescribed - out the door in under 2 hours. Comparative to other vets we've been to, they were faster and more efficient for much less cost.

Experiencia fantástica: Well I didn't go there 2 days ago but that is my vet. Honestly it's been awhile but that office is amazing. My service dog Yegar was bitten by a rattlesnake and I'm on disability so I didn't have the funds to get him treated. The got him in right away and did everything they could for him. I paid what I could and they allowed me to make payments. Unfortunately my best friend didn't make it, ( because of money) but this office did their best to save my dog instead of turning me away like the 5 other vets did. So I highly recommend this office

Experiencia fantástica: Here we go, my first visit with Apple at this office. It went well. My dog Apple let the doctor touch her, pull her leg, and check her teeth. Wow, my dog does not like doctors. But the was ok with this one. Thank you, Doc. The nurse and receptionist were also pretty friendly and professional, the price was ok. My dog Apple walks happily back home. She wasn't stressed or angry.

Experiencia fantástica: Used to go to Goodyear for my animals but we've recently moved close to Happy Valley location. They took care of one of my babies when she ripped her nail off at the quick. Was also able to get all her vaccines done in the same visit to save us another visit that was scheduled 3 weeks later. Doctor and assistant were kind and patient with her. They explained clearly and thoroughly the options we had for her nail and treated her promptly. Grateful for the amazing human beings at this location. ❤️

Experiencia fantástica: I always feel that the veterinarians and other staff care about the well-being of Ledi. The wait for treatment was brief, and I thought the annual wellness exam went well. The attending vet had seen Ledi before, and was aware of the lab results done earlier in the year by Ledi's neurological vet. And I wasn't knocked out by the cost of our visit!

Experiencia fantástica: They were able to get me in last minute to check my sick dog. The front office staff is very friendly and caring. Vet & Tech's are gentle with the situation, and I got more of a clear picture of my dogs issues than the emergency vet we saw 2 weeks prior. Now we have answers, and on the road to recovery! I also didn't feel like they were just trying to do every test possible to make money, they truly did what was needed to diagnose him, and that means the world as a pet owner.

Gumball my 15 year old just had dental surgery which was nerve racking but they kept me calm through the whole process and communicated to me how it was going over text while I worked. Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Kaylee Yoshimoto And the rest of the vet inery staff as well as the technicians alike prove, time after time, how a clinic should conduct itself on a skilled, preventative and emergency as well as aftercare level with our loved ones we call pets or, in particular, to many, loving family members. Humane measures are always taken with such tact, positivity, shared emotion, and unconditional love and care! This is the least of what we personally experienced over the years! Dr. Yoshimoto has that gift and unconditional love for all 4 legged animals. Three legged as well ( our beau black cat named Eva that brings such joy to our lives visits here:)) Beautiful principles and empathy the good doctor possesses. This is not easy to find just anywhere but you will find her at Happy Valley Animal hospital where making a difference in all our lives for the better, really matters!! Much Blessings to You All !
