Fantastic experience: Such amazing people here. My family and I over the years have been trapping neighborhood strays and bringing them to HCW to have them checked for microchips and if not spaying or neutering them. It's always an easy process, and allows our "backyard cats" to continue mousing for us, or if they are friendly towards humans finding forever homes for them. Thank you so much for what you guys do.

Fantastic experience: I found myself in a bind. I heard a precious little meow coming from a storm drain behind Home Depot on Pecos and Patrick. I bent down and looked in the hole and there was this kitten, crying, no bigger than the palm of my hand. Three more sisters in the hole. The little man calling my name, his eyes were glued shut with green crust. I scooped them up, brought them in my Coach. Clean them up nursed them back to Health. That was 2 1/2 months ago. One of them started acting funny and doing its thing. You know what I mean. Most of you out there know how I am already so I knew what he was thinking. He was looking like I always feel! I was advised to go to heaven can wait and they were booked out for about three months, but she got me in quickly for this one little guy who’s starting to do his thing. Thank goodness for heaven can wait. The woman behind the counter is super cute. Just my type . skinny little thing.

Fantastic experience: Excellent staff and very clean.

Negative experience: Most of the dogs looks hungry and most of them look like they’ve been fighting. The cats are skinny. I think they’d be fighting these dogs. They don’t really take care of them. If I can take them all home I would I feel so bad for them this place needs to get shut down. They’re selling dogs for a high price for no reason for their own Pockets.

Fantastic experience: Very caring staff for you and your pets. They have free cat scratch pads and other dots donated by other pet lovers. Best to make an appointment, and don't worry, I have taken 4 cats over the past decade to Heaven Can Wait, and never had a problem with the outcome.

Fantastic experience: This non-profit is the real deal! They serve the community with low-cost spay and neuter, vaccines, microchips, and community cats TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return). They have a small but mighty team who are so kind, welcoming, and do great work to prevent the pet overpopulation here in the Las Vegas Valley! The facility is clean, well-run, and accepts monetary and in-kind donations, such as towels, and dog and cat supplies and food.

Fantastic experience: I had my large male golden retriever neutered here and might I say how impressed I am! Comparing this place to where I got my female golden spayed in California was day and night. I was left surprised after they called the next day to do a follow up check in, that was so sweet of them and not was I was used to from the previous expierence. I also like how it was a small clinic and my do went straight in compared to my female where we had to wait in a long line outside. Here you make an appt take them in and they are seen by the doctor, which was supe informed and helped calm our nerves by answering all our questions! I’d MOST DEFINITELY reccomended Heaven Can Wait!!!!!

Negative experience: Although I've never had a chance to visit them, I've tried booking appointments for spay/neuters on multiple occasions, I'll get the appointment time, enter in all the information hit request and it's already been taken? How? I already selected it? All I've done is waste my time. Their appointment system is completely useless I'll take my business elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: The staff here is fantastic, even when faced with a fearful, "feisty", recently rescued Chihuahua mix that needed to be neutered. They made sure I was aware of any possible risks during his check-in exam, and his surgery went well with no issues. I was pleasantly surprised to see just how neat, clean, and precisely closed his surgical incision was considering they are a high volume spay & neuter clinic. The dog in question has healed up beautifully with no complications at all. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to help control our local unwanted pet population at a super reasonable price. My thanks go out to them for helping me help "Rocket"!

Fantastic experience: If you're looking for peace of mind with your pet AND budget friendly, I highly recommend here. Unfortunately it's only spay/neuter and vaccines but I wish I could take my babies here regularly (appointments fill up QUICK, be ready when they open up for availability). Clean environment with a staff that you can tell loves animals and are very informative. They understood my cats apprehension, since we found him with 3 legs and stiches, and handled him with care and understanding. Each one of the staff I met deserves more than 5 stars and I am so greatful to have found them for my boy.

Fantastic experience: I got my husky fixed here. They explained everything and were nice to the both of us. Surgery went well. She just wanted to rest from the medicine. A year later and she’s doing amazing. Thank you guys spots fill up fast so best to call early morning.

Negative experience: Terrible people at this office. Very unethical and inhumane. My cat got spayed here yesterday and the agreement was I could pick her up anytime before 4pm. I dropped her off at 7am. They called me at 11:30am saying that I could pick my cat up at 12:45pm and if I didn’t she would be kept in the carrier I had brought for her and not allowed a bathroom break because they said they had too many animals at the moment. If I wasn’t able to pick her up at 12:45pm she would’ve been kept in a carrier until 4pm and most likely went to the restroom in the carrier on herself right after she had fresh stitches and surgery. My cats name is blueberry by the way. She’s a very sweet little girl.

Negative experience: took my kitten to get neutered on the 13th , he got infected with fpv during his stay there and passed away this morning. do not recommend taking your pets here

Fantastic experience: Their community cat program is the best. I have taken a bunch of strays in and not only is it affordable, each cat/kitten is treated with love. The staff is amazing and they give so much of themselves to try and stop the rapid reproduction of this cats. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Just took my Puppy Leo in for a neuter. The staff was very friendly. We waited about an hour to get inside and see the vet before surgery. They notified me when he was out of surgery And the time I can pick him up by. Picked him up before 4 o'clock and it was quick and easy and they gave me instructions for home And his medication.

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff and very professional. If you have a Medicaid awards letter your spaying or neutering it is only $10 for cats and $20 for dogs. Prices may change so call for exact amount.

Negative experience: website says clark county residents get microchips for $5. henderson is clark county, I was charged $40. I even checked my address on their website checker.

Negative experience: Less than great experience; after watching the website forever trying to secure an appt, we were lead to believe we finally got one; we were given a day, paid a deposit; and then never heard a word back from them. Attempted to email them multiple times, and call; finally just now, weeks later, got through to a human whom was dismissive and rude and told me that basically people compete for the appt and they gave it to someone else and would be refunding my money. After expressing this was a frustrating experience given the lack of communication altogether; I was hung up on. Thankful I’m not entrusting this “business” with my fur babes.

Negative experience: Go ahead and hire me since ya’ll are clearly short staffed and never pick up the phone. Even after leaving a voicemail they don’t get back to you. You’re out of luck trying to reach anyone on here, I suggest you look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: The Community Cats program is a real life saver for everyone. Less kittens have to suffer. Fewer adult cats have to fight and suffer on the street looking for food, water and shelter. Fewer people have to deal with the overpopulation. TNR works.

Positive experience: They were quick and friendly. Straight to the point. The only bad thing is getting an appointment. You have one day in a month that you can make appointments. Then you have 5 mins to get the information in before they booked for the month.

Fantastic experience: The staff was so kind and so patient with my Savage. He's usually a little aggressive, but he was so scared being around all the other dogs. The staff picked him up and calmed him down just by holding him close. Please dont forget the prices are amazing just like the staff

Negative experience: They do not work with animal control in an efficient manner. What animal control says is completely different then what this facility will do for you or your pet. This did not help at all. And why animal control would ticket to remove one ball from an old dog that doesn't ever go anywhere is wild and this is why they continue to over fill and kill an ungodly number of animals. Your animals and your rights as a pet owner are completely trampled on in nevada. Nevada is not animal friendly and your pet could be in serious danger here. Period!!!!!!

Negative experience: I scheduled an appointment to have my cat spayed and needed to reschedule. I called multiple times but was unable to reach anyone. I also sent a text to their text number and followed up with an email, but received no response. As a result, I had to forfeit my deposit, and I still haven’t heard back from anyone. The lack of communication is extremely frustrating and feels unprofessional—possibly even like a scam.

Fantastic experience: Supper friendly staff. We did try to get our Frenchie neutered and unfortunately they were not able to help us, which is funny because they have a picture of a Frenchie on the spay/neuter page They were able to refer us to another clinic that was able to take care of our pup.

Negative experience: Long story short I had a kitten that I had found that was in really bad shape really sick and people always say Heaven can Wait can help you speed up the process of finding people to help. So when I went in and started asking them questions right off the back they told me to take it to the animal foundation, except one lady was giving me a list of rescuers, as she was doing that I was trying to be more specific I said "this kitten is not mine" and before I could finish the sentence, one of the workers that was cleaning the window said "it ain't our kitten either" she said it rudely. So I did tell her "I wasn't talking to her" cuz I got upset. First of all if that's how you going to talk about a kitten in public, that was sick I can imagine what you do behind closed doors, so yes I believe her name was kris but I suggest that all kittens and cats are treated the same. By the way the kitten, was rescued and adopted, he was was really really sick and community cat Angels helped out a lot, thank you to them and you got to do better Heaven can wait especially with the good reputation you have.

Fantastic experience: Got my cat "Buster" microchipped at the free clinic and what a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to any pet owners. **Recently we took newest family member, Baz, in to be neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. We receive Medicaid bringing our cost down to $50 total for everything he needed that day. I love Heaven can Wait and what they provide for our community!! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I was hesitant. A low spay and neuter cost place?!? What kind of love are they giving behind closed doors? And you know what we found? The kind, that makes me want to take my two birds, two cats, and other two dogs to them for a simple check over, and for all future needs. I’d trust them with all my animals and they’re cost efficient. Was referred by my father, and am extremely grateful. Thank you guys so much for taking care of my 11 year old daughter’s babygirl. She was so worried about her precious kitty, for her to come home okay and back to her human. Negative experience: I was there yesterday to ask about my dogs neudor and vaccine info and the young lady was being very rude and on her phone texting. She was being dismissive and mean . I sure hope she doesn’t act like that with every person coming in to their office . My interaction with her made me feel less than a human being . Especially when she said she would only explain the situation one time and if I understood ? Like I don’t speak enough English for her.

Fantastic experience: Really good people in here that care. Had a puppy that we just couldn't seem to get through the online process. Something about the dogs size and weight. So we brought him in. First off it's a puppy. Second off I think he knows he's cute and laid it on thick. Everyone came up front to say hi to him. And we've got an upcoming appointment. Can't thank them enough.

Fantastic experience: This is one of those often and typically dismissed but critically needed and essential services that not many truly love to do but people love to moan and complain about when things require more time and effort than their busy lives can afford them so they blame the service provider for their own lack of time management and their own lack of patience and sympathy. Heaven Can Wait staff are the unsung heroes that are doing the hard work of addressing the pet overpopulation by spaying and neutering the animals that although they're loved still need to have their counts controlled.

Negative experience: All the staff especially Jess at the front desk makes everything very confrontational. As if she doesn't even want you to ask a question. I will never return to this vet again. For a clinic that claims to want to help reduce overpopulation of animals, they make it quite difficult to believe. They woman at the front desk have all been unhelpful rude and inadequate at their job.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best care I've ever received! I bring all my cats here and have always been happy with the way they handled them and were super patient with me and my furbabies. I highly recommend them. If you're struggling to get your pet treated, then they can work with you on cost. They cate about your furbaby and you can see and feel it the moment you walk in the door. I've unfortunately had a few people there in the past that were a little cold towards me & my furbabies, but the last time I went I didn't see them, so they may no longer be with that animal clinic. The doctor I get has always been amazing, so I have no serious complaints. I just wish the staff in the front was a little more personable & friendly. I know its hard to leave life at the door, but the people coming in are very sensitive already with having to bring their pet into the clinic in the first place. So I'd say a little more compassion, and making a bit of conversation wouldn't hurt them. I do take into consideration that it 6:45am in the morning, and their job does have a higher stress rate because they work in an environment with sick and injured animals aswell. That's why I still gave 5 stars.. we're human, and we still have bad days, and sometimes those bad days go to work with us. I've been there. I just think it's something that could easily be redirected into a positive thing and really help people feel more comfortable walking in and walking out. Other than that, I'm blessed to have found Heaven Can Wait and all the amazing staff that have been there for me throughoutthe years, being very understanding and treating my furbabies wonderfully, and with absolutely no issues at all! Fantastic experience: Dr. Y and all the staff are wonderful. Caring, concerned patience with owners and pets. Would recommend them for your spaying and neutering. We have two rescue one male and one female and both came through their surgeries with no problems. They are definitely worth the wait for an appointment.

Fantastic experience: Nathalie is one of the ladies that works hard to get help for the Las Vegas cat population. She is very helpful. I take down feral/stray kitties and have them sponsored via A.F. you can also pay or ask for sponsorship depending on if it's a pet or stray kitty. They do so much to help the community and I keep letting folks know about how awesome they are.

Negative experience: Site said they took walk-ins. I called to confirm. We drove all the way up there for them to tell us no immediately and acted like whoever I spoke with doesn't exist. Luckily we found a better spot that was closer anyhow. We found two stray kitties and I guess they are ours now but this place wasn't very helpful with this process. More compassion for beings and those helping others please.

Fantastic experience: I totally recommend HCW to anyone in need of vet clinic care. You might have to wait a bit but it is totally worth it. I took in my baby Coco Chanel on Wednesday and took really good care of her as if she were there own. Taking your pet to any place is scary because you don’t know what will happen but I could tell that my baby was very much loved Thank you to all of you there.

Negative experience: Avoid this clinic. Their staff is completely clueless when it comes to bigger dogs, mine being a German shepherd, as if they are scared to handle them. My shepherd is a little vocal and was denied the services because of it. Also they have a “no tolerance” policy so if you yourself are upset because of the way they handled themselves around your animal and leave they won’t take you back even if you try to give them a second chance. So if you need these types of services save yourself a headache and time and pay the extra cash for a real vet.

Fantastic experience: This facility is great. Wonderful staff and services. I recently took my community female cat to get fixed so she won’t have anymore kittens. Animal Foundation sponsored the procedure. They really help a lot.

Fantastic experience: We had such an amazing experience with Heaven Can Wait. While appointments are hard to get (understandably), the staff was amazing! They explain everything thoroughly and check in with you after surgery to ensure your pet is doing well. Definitely recommend!

Negative experience: Most of the staff was amazing but at the end the person checking us out was super rude. Nowhere in my emails did it say my cats had to be in a SEPARATE carrier yet they still charge for one and instead of saying “I’m sorry for the mix up” she was super stuck up and rude about it. By the time they are done nickel and diming you at the end, the cost of the visit is comparable to other vets closer to where I live but I had heard good things about this facility. Too bad one person with a snobby attitude ruined it for me and anyone I would have referred.

Negative experience: Very rude staff, was very hand aggressive with my cat, once I went to check out the older women was very rude through the entire process. I was simply asking a question about the safety of my cat and she cut an attitude. Also drop off time was 6:45 doors were not open until 6:52. Don’t post a time you can’t keep up too. I’m military and got places to be.

Fantastic experience: Gosh it's been 15 years since I have used this place. I'm thinking of getting a puppy again and I was looking up the fee for spaying. My last visit my dog had pymotria I know I spelled it wrong but this clinic said that she would of died if I did not bring her in. It was an all day thing but they took such ggod care of my baby. Positive experience: They have really helped me out. I had no clue what I was doing. Didn't think it through either. I bought a cat trap on Amazon on caught a wild street cat and brought it here to get it fixed. Not having done anything like this before, they helped me out so much! Thanks again for their friendly, patience, and kind staff. Update: So, I have been busy in my home life to keep capturing stray cats and getting them fixed. I went back after a while and called first. No mention they'd be closed to the public for a week. Then, after a failed attempt at taking a cat in, getting the cat there, traffic was bad, and apparently, I was a bit late. Then, the lady behind the counter says she'll take the cat. Thank God! Nope, sorry, that'll be $60. Even though I'm on the list with "The Human Society." Then the rude voice-mail to come pick up the cat. These aren't my cats, lady! I have 3 dogs. These cats hate my guts and sleep in my backyard in a tent. Grrrrr! I think I'm done in my neighborhood. I'll just keep calling the human society to come pick them up. My neighborhood is getting riddled in cats.

Fantastic experience: By far one of the best experiences I’ve had in all my years of owning animals. The staff were so supportive, accommodating and helpful. I had taken in 3 abandoned cats and they got me in so quickly for some neutering and spaying. Thank heavens for places like this because there was no way I was going to be able to afford three cats medical all at one time! Because of places like this I was able to give them a forever home.

Fantastic experience: Heaven Can Wait is a wonderful foundation! They took extra care for our cat Ginger. They don't charge outargues amounts of money to take care of your pets. I love that they support the local community animal population.

Negative experience: My name is Scheryl Mcginness Hauser, recently we took two neighborhood strays into the heaven can wait clinic for what was to be a routine procedure the younger cat was to get his shots and neutered the other older cat was also to get shots and be spayed, HOWEVER the older female required additional treatment and we were told to keep the older female for two to three days in the house and give her the antibiotics that she would need...we have three cats of our own already and they are happy and healthy INDOOR cats their entire life...I am writing this review with a broken heart to make others aware, because we brought this cat into our home we now have one beloved cat near DEATH because a virus was brought into our house and they all got sick. Heaven Can Wait was great about taking responsibility and told us to take them to the wellness clinic and they were seen and treated no charge. I thank them for that. My prize possession IttyBitty, I took to our vet the week before because she was the first to get sick. I borrowed $345 so she could be seen and there has been no improvement. I don't have money to take her back. My heart is breaking every minute of everyday for her and I can't bare the thought of losing her it is tearing me apart. Make sure you ask questions and know everything you need to know before bringing an outside cat into your home.

Fantastic experience: Worst & best review I've ever done. My dog (Samantha) I've had for 13 years was so sick. I called Heaven Can Wait late in afternoon. The first appointment they had was the next morning. I took her in. There wasn't really anything they could do age & cancer probably stomach. BOTH the assistant & vet were so kind patient & understanding. I knew what needed to be done. Just didn't want to let go. I would like to thank Heaven Can Wait & everyone that works & helps support them. I didn't have the total amount to cover the visit. Asked if they split the bill in 2. Explained my situation. And the Vet asked the assistant to check on something. When they came back in the room. They informed me that I qualified for a grant and there would be no charge. I know this was one of the worst days in my life. I miss Samantha so much. But, Heaven Can Wait & their employees made it way easier to deal with. I will forever be grateful to them. Thank you for everything.

Negative experience: They do offer TNR services. But you have to drop the animal off in a trap. It can not be on a leash or in a carrier. They will provide spay/neutering services for $60 with no appointment. But drop-off is between 9:30a-10:30a and pickup is from 2-4pm. Those are not very convenient hours for people who work.

Fantastic experience: I brought in my cat for spay and neuter. It went by so quickly. Great talent and friendly staff in this amazing place. Set up your appointments for low-cost vaccinations and spay and neuter here! Also, get your pets microchiped if they bolt out the house, lol. Thank you, Heaven Can Wait! I will bring in my older cat for microchip soon. It's also convenient that they have a separate wellness clinic down the street.

Fantastic experience: They took very good care of my little dog, explaining the spaying procedure from start to finish. Everyone there treated my pet and me kindly, the receptionist, vet assistants, and vet put me at ease. They called the following, to check on my pet's progress. Greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Took my cat into be spayed and get her shots. Everyone was very helpful and I even talked to the vet before I had it done. I had no regrets to go ahead.

Fantastic experience: Heaven Can Wait neutered both of my doxies and did such a great job! I did ask for one of my dogs to get microchipped during the procedure (he’s a runner) and they forgot to do it, but they were very kind. You can tell everyone here has a love for animals and treats them so gentle! They also clipped all their nails during the procedure. Great place, very affordable!

Fantastic experience: It's a no frills get it done sort of place but they have done many tnr cats for us and there has never been an issue and they are very efficient. And the people are nice as long as you pick up your animals on time.

They offer a trap, neuter/spay, release service affordably for family, ferral or community cats that has greatly benefitted our neighborhood. Fantastic experience: We took our female Belgium mal in to get spayed. The staff there were very nice and professional. We saw a nurse first to go over Stella's health, then shortly after the interview we saw the vet. They informed us on everything that was going to happen and what to expect. They also went over after care. Stella surgery went well. Although she needs 2 weeks to heal, she acts like she never had the surgery. She's healthy, happy and so are we. I would definitely refer them!
