Fantastic experience: My 12 year old Bichon Frise’s got real sick from the dental cleaning procedure afterwards. It was a different vet hospital. I was so worried about dental cleaning at this age but this vet really pushed me to this aggressively, scaring me with the possible illness from gum disease although my dog doesn’t any dental issues. I brush my dog’s teeth every night before the bedtime. Anyway out of my own stupity, I decided to listen to them. But I told them my dog’s been doing dental cleaning every year since she turned 4. But last year she had a bad reaction from it. And she still insisted it. After I picked up my dog from the vet after the procedure, my dog started non stop diarrhea all night and started even vomiting so I went back to the vet next morning and the vet was very dishonest, claimed this symptom is not related to dental cleaning which was lie. And she only gave me a bunch of probiotics and it didn’t help the diarrhea situation at all. I was waiting for 3 days and the symptoms were not improved. I started getting worried for my dog’s life at this point. For a small dog like this, this can be fatal. I decided to find a new vet and googled it. Aloha animal hospital came up and I found it the rate and comments are wonderful. So I called them, unfortunately the new patient waiting time was almost a month. I explained my situation and told the lady I’ll have to go back to this awful vet for now but wanted to make an appointment anyway with them to establish my Dog there. The lady on the phone was very empathetic for me and asked me to hold to discuss with her manager for my situation, in a few minutes she came back to me with a great news that I can come the next morning. So I did. The vet was so kind and detail taking her time. She gave me antibiotics/anti diarrhea medicine. And told me keep continuing with probiotics I was given from the previous vet. My dog recovered within a day. No more diarrhea. It was like a miracle. I truly appreciate aloha animal hospital to the staff and Dr. Aimee Gordon. I thought I’m gonna lose my dog from this dental cleaning. Any vet aggressively push a senior dog to the dental cleaning even the dog has a good teeth is a money digger. I should have known. I wasn’t very happy with that vet anyway but with this unfortunate accident, I am very happy to be able to find the great vet now. I’m just grateful to Aloha Animal Hospital and my dog’s recovery. Thanks.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Miguel A Nieves-Maldonado was great. Went over all tests to be done on my Golden, Lucy. Then went over info that he knew after a few of the tests. Hoping for a great outcome.

Negative experience: The prices have gone up. I came in for x-ray and bloodwork for my dog. I was expecting to pay maybe close to 300 but I was surprised with the $500 bill I was charged for an $75 exam that didn’t happen.

Fantastic experience: I’ve taken one of our dogs here since he was a puppy. We started taking our other dog here as well after my husband witnessed the quality of service. (My husband had a prior vet before we met.) The services are compassionate with follow through. I’ve never had an issue with any vet here.

Negative experience: Had our bearded dragon fall ill suddenly and was recommended to go here. The staff is very nice the situation kinda sucked after $600 and zero change they ended up having to put her to sleep. The one thing I can say to the doctor is next time lead with the surgery costs $600 and I would have opted for that first rather then sticking the animal with lots of pointless medication to run up a bill just to put it down. *** Little update they never gave us pearls ashes as they promised they would. My son is devastated.

Fantastic experience: Friendly and efficient. Dr Berkkes was really good with my amazon parrot. He is getting better. They are expensive but so is every animal hospital/vet.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Aloha Animal Hospital from the beginning. Dr. Jamie is my main Cats’ doctor, we love her! I’ve seen Dr. Jason (also great) and a few other doctors in the past 20 years but I always stick with Dr. Jamie. My cats and I have gotten to know her through the years and she is so pleasant and always so gentle with the cats. The front desk staff is wonderful, David has been there forever, always happy to see him. Megan in the back office (so nice) and Patty have also been there from the beginning. I’ve gotten to know them pretty well and it’s always a pleasant experience for me. Maybe not for my cats as much. LOL

Fantastic experience: I have been a client of Aloha for about 19 years. Needless to say I have been so happy with these Vets. Dr. Jamie is the best. She gets a 10, why because Jason her husband gets the +! As a team they get a 10+! Even more their staff from top down, Megan and her staff from the front end and nursing staff can't be beat! Fantastic experience: The staff has always been friendly and I’ve seen just about every vet at this clinic. I have 2 dogs one of which I’ve had since he was a puppy and has always gone to Aloha. More recently I’ve been seeing Dr. Suh consistently with my 2 pups and I wouldn’t trust them with anyone else. The time and care she takes at each appointment while giving me honest answers and all options available is something I truly appreciate. It’s never fun bringing your fur babies in when they aren’t feeling well, hurt, or getting a procedure. But Dr. Suh always handles every situation with such care and professionalism. If I’m unable to see her I’m always confident to leave my dogs with any of the other vets there as I know they are always in good hands.

Fantastic experience: I brought my cat in from out of town. Staff was friendly and setting up an appointment was easy. The vet was also very friendly and thorough as well.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Beckes and her staff are great ! This was our 6month check up with our 7 month old bunny Potato, and also for her nail trim. Front office check-in is easy. Everyone at the front office is kind. The vet tech that helped us was very sweet, calm, and patient. She never stressed out my Potato bunny. Dr. Beckes was gentle and calm while handling Potato. She does the exam on the floor, as to not have my bunny jump off a table and hurt herself. She checked her weight, mouth , her teeth , her heart, lungs, eyes, ears, nose, feet, belly, and officially let us know Potato is a girl. She discussed the vaccine for rabbits, and was so gentle with the whole vaccination procedure. She educated me on what to look out for, like any types of reactions she may have. She discussed diets, and what greens/hay/pellets to transition her to, now. Great office. It's Potato's home. Dr. Breckes answers all my concerns, as always.

Negative experience: I really liked bringing my cat here, the staff is very nice and the vets are caring. Unfortunately the availability for appointments is rough. I understand new clients having to wait a couple of weeks to get their 1st appointments. What I don’t understand is not being able to get an existing client in for a sickness visit within a timely manner. They don’t have any appointments available for a month out and told me if I wanted to get in sooner I needed to pay a $140 urgent fee which I agreed to and they still told me the earliest available is February? That doesn’t make any sense. I guess my cat has to be dying for that option which is weird because on their website, my cat had the symptoms they recommended for an urgent visit. If you’re an animal’s primary care vet, there should be sickness appointments available within a reasonable time. They don’t even have an option to be on standby for an earlier appointment if someone reschedules or cancels. This forces me to change vets. I’m frustrated and disappointed, I’ve never had this issue with any other vet for a sick visit.

Every single visit, the staff and doctors treat him like family—not just another patient on the schedule. What really sets Aloha apart is how genuinely they listen and care. They take the time to explain things, they never rush you, and they always make sure both you and your pet feel safe and supported. Whether it’s routine care or something more stressful, they handle everything with compassion, patience, and professionalism. Snoopy can be anxious, and they are incredible at making him feel calm and cared for. That means everything to me as a pet parent. If you’re looking for a veterinary clinic that truly puts your pet first, this is the place. Five years strong and still the best decision I’ve ever made for Snoopy’s health.

Fantastic experience: Have had to bring my dog here a few times due to an injury and each visit has been great. No long wait time (always had appointments). Didn't cost as much as I'd assumed. Everyone has always been polite and informative. Will continue bringing my pets here.

Positive experience: Very good care, staff is very helpful, patient and knowledgeable. They provided thorough care for my cat. Excellent service! It is expensive however and all of that excellent care is going to cost you so be prepared for that!

We would not trust anyone else with my best buddy Mia! From David and Sam at the reception desk, to Dr. Brittany, Dr. Jamie, and Dr. Jason you will be treated as if you are family. We've been loyal patrons of Aloha for over 13 years. The team is professional, kind, and really exemplifies the Ohana Spirit. I could go on and on about how good this team is. The latest example, we called last night to get some information about Mia's symptoms. Sam spent time to discuss what Mia was experiencing, and showed nothing but consideration for our feelings. As we were speaking, Sam took the time to look for the closest available appointment. As we spoke, she noticed a recent cancellation, and we were able to see Dr. Brittany the next day. David is also that kind and caring. Dr. Brittany was great. She took the time to discuss our aging dogs arthritis, and the options we could take to reduce the pain she seemed to be experiencing. This team really dedicates the time that we, as loving pet owners deserve, not to mention our pets. Trust us, if you love your pet(s) as much as we do, place your trust in Aloha!

Fantastic experience: I had such a wonderful experience at Aloha Animal Hospital. From the moment we walked in, the nurse and the two receptionists, Alex and Kylie, were incredibly polite, friendly, and welcoming. They were also very understanding of my German Shepherd, who can be a bit reactive, and never made us feel uncomfortable or judged. Dr. James was truly amazing with her. I've been to other vets where staff seemed scared of my dog and made it feel like a big issue, which was stressful for both of us. That was absolutely not the case here. Dr. James and the team handled her with such care, patience, and confidence, and were so understanding throughout the entire visit. They made the whole process smooth and easy, which I am beyond grateful for. Two days later, I brought my other German Shepherd and Dr. Gordon worked with her and made the process so easy. She gave a lot of good information and tips to work on her behavior. I left both appointments feeling relieved, supported, and thankful to have found a vet who treats both pets and owners with such respect and compassion. I would recommend Aloha Animal Hospital to anyone without hesitation.

This was an unexpected and incredibly difficult experience. The team at Aloha treated her with compassion and professionalism during a highly stressful and emotional time. As a nurse, I deeply respect the skill, clinical judgment, and empathy demonstrated by the veterinarians and staff. They truly exhausted all efforts while prioritizing her comfort in her final moments. Fantastic experience: I've been taking my Bunny, Humper, to see Dr. Jason for 11 years. He immediately bonded with my lagomorph, so much so, that he instantly allowed him to be manhandled without fuss. I moved across town and refuse to allow any other vet, to break the bond he has with my one and only. Knowledgeable, informative, patient, and intuitive. You can't be asked to trust a better person with your family. He's done such a great job, my baby is still active, thanks the Lord, and will turn 12 soon. <3

Positive experience: Staff and Dr were friendly but wait time well exceeded my appointment time by an hour and 20 minutes. I understand that emergencies happen. But no communication was given to anyone in the waiting room. Also, much more pricey than my original vet so I'll be venturing back over to Henderson.

Excited to bring her brother next time:) We have been back on several visits now with both of our dogs. Have met with other Dr.s in emergency appointments and all the Dr.’s and staff have been incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate to our dogs and we as thier paw parents.

Positive experience: EDIT: dropped my 5 star to a 3 because a CARELESS vet tech DROPPED my senior cat. She was trying to place her (in the carrier) on the front desk for check out and was careless and my cats carrier fell OFF the desk with my cat in it. She's 10, shes in a lot of pain and discomfort, and is incredibly scared of being at the vet already. Please pay attention!!! Whoever dropped my cat you are SO lucky my husband was there and not me because I was ready to scream at someone when he told.me about it. Friendly staff; they're always super busy so they're a popular clinic, but not so busy i couldn't get in. Wait times are a little long during appointments but that comes with going to a busy clinic. Overall a good experience for my cat's dental procedure. Will probably be our new go-to clinic for our cats since we are recently new to Vegas.

Fantastic experience: Aloha Animal Hospital has been my vet for 3 generations of my cats. Recently, my Ferdinand the Bull was having allergic reactions and gastrointestinal problems. Dr. Jason took good care of him and he’s now on the path of being better.

Fantastic experience: It's my coco's first visit here, and I had a wonderfully satisfying and positive experience. The front desk staff are the sweetest and friendliest people. Dr. Aimee Gordon is incredibly knowledgeable; she took the time to explain what I should expect and what she recommends. She is very thorough. I never felt rushed during coco's appointment. All of my inquiries and curiosity were addressed. They are all very gentle! Caring for pets can be costly, and if you're seeking to ensure your money is well spent while providing the best for your furry friends... you've come to the right spot.

Had appt @8 am, front desk said to fill out some paperwork after weighing in the pet (which I think is cool) and would be called. Great guy, great people skills, everyone sat on the floor to talk and check out our dog from start to finish. Said he'd text me in a week to check in and he sure did. What a veterinary gem. Fantastic experience: I love this clinic! My bunnies were very well cared for until their passing from old age. Now my rescued dog gets care from this wonderful staff. The staff is very kind and patient with my dog and her anxiety. When I had my dog boarded there, she didn’t want to come home from the TLC she received while boarded. My veterinarian daughter actually picked this clinic out for my fur babies care. Aloha clinic rocks!

Negative experience: My appointment was at 10:30 AM, placed in a room at 10:50 and didn’t get seen till 11:25AM. After running behind for our appointment the doctor was in & out in 8 mins. Extremely sad this is what this once great establishment has turned to. We drive across town to be seen here but will be looking for somewhere closer to home.

Negative experience: Beware!!!! I hate writing negative reviews but I need to voice my concerns. I took my 14yr old cat to Aloha about a month ago for his teeth and he's losing weight quickly. The vet lifted one of his lips quickly and said he's seen worse. Let's do blood work because something else is going on. His blood work came back and there was nothing of concern except a UTI. I was told a few years ago that blood work was $160. I was charged $721 for a few shots and a pain reliever. One month later I took him to another vet and he needs 6 teeth pulled but he's to weak and skinny to do the procedure which that appointment was $300 plus it will be $700 to pull his teeth. I was given some meds to increase his appetite. I realize it's my fault for not addressing his dental issues earlier but I was totally dismissed at Aloha regarding his dental issues. They never listened to his heart, checked his ears or eyes or did any "check-up" procedures and still charged me $75 for an office visit. I truly believe that he was in decent condition to pull his teeth at Aloha that day. He declined rapidly. I'm at that point trying to decide to put him down. This is a total meat market and the compassion for your pet has been lost in the last few years. Sorry for the rant but please consider your pets well being and go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been bringing my turtle, August, here for several years and Dr. Jason and Dr. Beckes are phenomenal! The nurses are also great. The entire team is kind, everyone greets you when you come in and it feels like they’re always taking the time to listen when I’m explaining the issues. I never feel like I’m being rushed in and out, which I appreciate. You can tell they all genuinely care about every animal that comes through the door. My one note is that services at Aloha are pricey but I’m not sure if they’re comparable for other exotic animal hospitals (this was the first place I found, I loved it so I stuck with them) or if they’re on the more expensive side and you’re paying a little more for the great service but it IS great service! Soooo I just keep going to work every day to make sure my box turtle can go back to Aloha Animal Hospital!

Fantastic experience: I was wary bringing my senior dog (almost 15 old years believe it or not) but had to due to some obvious but new symptoms. After not only seeing 3 vets including his primary, and a cardiologist, I ended up getting the answers I needed - for years, from ONE visit at Aloha Animal hospital with Dr. Jason. Not only was I given treatment options, I was listened to, and surprisingly, felt supported (you guys were the only ones to ask me what I meant by asking for videos and notes I have taken and what not). I’m not here to bash other vets, only to highlight that I finally felt like I was advocating for my dog for the first time. This will be not only his new vet, but last vet. I was also honoured to see you guys are now AAHA Accredited (I like to do research if you couldn’t tell). Even being able to request prescriptions through the team on the phone AND through the AI system is easy & quick. I should’ve came here years ago, but Romeo and I thank you for welcoming us to the fam now ❤️

Fantastic experience: Even though they were very busy it is always a great experience going to Aloha Animal Hospital. Our dog was having some mobility issues and the medicine that was prescribed seems to be working very well. We always enjoy meeting up with the everyone at Aloha and have great praise for Dr. Jamie.

Fantastic experience: My visit to the vet was outstanding. My little fur baby was in critical condition. He went from being a happy, playful, full of energy puppy one day to a lethargic dog the next. My dog was examined, had blood work done, and had an X-ray. I was informed that he had immune disorder and needed to be transferred to a critical care facility. This is where he is at now. All I can say is that I love you guys. Dr. Britney was amazing. Dr. Nieves is also an outstanding doctor. Dr. Britney referred me to another outstanding facility which is taking good care of my baby. Would I recommend anyone to them? Absolutely!

Fantastic experience: Best Vet and animal hospital!! I recommend 100%. I been coming here for 3 years and never had any issues with them. The service here is amazing!!! The staffs are amazing and sweet making sure you always feel welcome and comfortable when walking in. I have 3 dogs and they’re always excited to see Dr.Jason. Dr.Jason is one of the best doctor I know. Always making sure everything is good and well. Dr.jason makes you feel welcome. I wanna thank the staff and Dr.jason for always making me feel safe and comfortable and as well for always taking care of my dogs and giving me the best advice and options they can provide for my dogs. ❤️❤️ I also had my 2 hedgehogs but unfortunately had to put them down due to some health issue. Staffs and doctors made they both rememberable they will light up a candle ️ at the front desk for any pet that was being put down which made me feel so loved by how much they care for each pet they also send me a letter through the mail w every one condolence which made me feel blessed on how much they care. Fantastic experience: Aloha Animal Hosptial is a world of a difference from other vets! So glad we switched to them! Immediately upon walking in and being greeted by the front desk staff, I could tell they were on top of things here and so kind! I could hear the staff member calling our old vet to get the records transferred. I appreciate the promptness. Also, by the door, they have leashes for those who forgot a leash. That is a nice little detail and the first I have seen at a vet's office. The assistant to Dr. Jason Sulliban was wonderful and when Dr. Sulliban came in, he sat down on the floor to get our dog acclimated to him and conducted the exam right in the room. Dr. Sulliban explained things clearly and gave our dog thorough attention and care. He was very professional. I appreciate his honesty and care given to our dog!

Fantastic experience: Our bearded dragon got sick and Dr Beckus has been amazing. She is so caring and compassionate in regard to the situation. I always recommend Aloha when anyone asks for a vet.

Fantastic experience: Helped me with an emergency with my Frenchie, then a few weeks later, took the time to analyze her stool sample á la minute because she had blood in her stool. Provided me with steps to rectify the situation, and if the first suggestions didn’t work, we had a course of action planned for after. Always friendly and accommodating here.

Fantastic experience: I love taking my puppy here for her wellness checks. The staff is super friendly, and you can tell they genuinely care about the pets brought in. They take time out to say hello and play with my pup when I've brought her in. Dr. Nieves is awesome! He takes good care of my puppy, provides explanations on what's being done, listens to concerns, and answers my questions. So glad I found this place!
