Negative experience: Update. March 7 2026. Same situation. On hold when no one else is in line. Calling for the same annual vaccine services. Someone answers and quickly placing me on hold. I think it’s time to report this to consumer affairs depending on all the other bad experiences from other reviews. I’ll be filing a complaint with the head honcho. Attorney General’s office and Consumer Affairs so they can formally investigate this company. If pets are dying due to unsanitary situations then that is something worth investigating. I’ll be switching clinics. I’m really disappointed. I am still holding as I write this review. I have taken my pet here since he was born and been faithful to this clinic for all his care needs. I am trying to get information as to when I need to take my pet for his regular vaccines and I been on hold for 16 minutes now. I am the only one in line and someone answers and reputs me on hold without saying anything. I think this kind of service speaks volumes about attentiveness. Not a great look. If this doesn’t improve I’ll be looking elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Gunn is THE best! She spent a lot of time going over what would be best for our fur baby. She explained things thoroughly, didn't try to upsale or add on ridiculous charges, and I appreciate how gentle she was with our dog. Plus, the check-in staff was right on time with our appointment. We've been coming here for 9 years, and I like the convenienceof the texting option. Definitely recommend this vet.

Fantastic experience: I am always impressed with the staff here! They are knowledgable, friendly and accommodating. Pricing is reasonable. I have been bringing our animals here for years and will continue to do so!

Fantastic experience: dr gun and dr K are amazing, efficient lovely human beings

Negative experience: Brought my dog in for what ended up being an inflamed paw (he was limping so me and my bf thought it was an acl tear) he has a history of heart arrhythmia and perennial fistulas (an autoimmune thing) and because he had to be boarded for a weekend in March we asked if it was safe for him to get a parvo and bordetella vaccine. We were told it wouldn’t be a problem. He passed away 2 and a half weeks later and wasn’t the same since getting them. We called twice when he was throwing up and lethargic and were told it couldn’t be from the vaccines and they were booked a few weeks out for him to be seen again. We were hand feeding him to eat the last week of his life and he was able to keep food down and was drinking lots of water so we thought he would be okay until the next available apt. After speaking with other vets, I was told he shouldn’t have gotten those vaccines with his heart arrhythmia, autoimmune problem and paw inflammation. He was healthy other than his paw hurting and his meds for his autoimmune problem kept him happy and stable for years. He’s had a heart arrhythmia all his life, and it was never a problem. Even the boarding place said he shouldn’t have gotten those vaccines and they would have taken a note that said it could be unsafe for him. I am absolutely heartbroken and confused as to why they wouldn’t even tell us the risks involved and just told us he was fine to get them. When we called twice we were told again it couldn’t have been from the vaccines and with his previous conditions that’s just not true. RIP to my sweet boy Jaxx I will miss him forever.

Negative experience: My dog died and I reached out 2 times previously before and they did not take me seriously!!! Brought my 10 year old German Shepard in for his paw to be looked at and 2 vaccines that are required for boarding. He did have some pre existing issues like a heart murmur since he was a puppy but nothing that would cause sudden death and he acted like a completely different animal after his visit there. He had an infection when we brought him in and we raised concerns regarding him being vaccinated and they said there’s no reason not to vaccinate him. He was sick after the vaccines I called and was told not to worry about it. He died at home un-expectedly and they are still saying it had nothing to do with it. I would look elsewhere the communication here is awful your always on hold and they don’t take things seriously. DO NOT COME HERE

Fantastic experience: Green Valley Animal Hospital has been our vet since we moved from CA to Henderson 6 years ago. Our dogs have been kindly and professionally treated each visit. Our wait time is never too long even though we know that walk in emergency care is always offered. We have used the boarding service that GVAH offers. Again our dogs were well cared for. Thank you Green Valley Animal Hospital.

Fantastic experience: DR. ROBERSON was a really really wonderful veterinarian and our family followed her from Tropicana Animal Hospital to GVAH until she retired. She has a loving caring touch and compassion for humans as well. When Dr. Roberson left, I wasn't sure if we'd find that special connection with any other doctor, but we did. Dr. Gunn is now who my two dogs see primarily and I am so grateful that we have found that connection of trust and compassion! I love this Animal Hospital because I know that they care and that my pets will be treated very well. Their Dental special between February and May is a great time to take pets in and when I took my Duke in there this February, the girls really worked very hard to return him fluffy and smelling wonderful. I love this place. We take our cats and our dogs there. June 29 2020 UPDATE: Totally impressed with the COVID-19 measures they have in place. This is the GREATEST practice out there. You and your pets will be treated with the highest degree of care and respect. You can trust them! November 28, 2020 update, they offer top notch grooming and did a modified (per my request) lion cut for my Duke. March 2023 update: (the attached photos are his most recent grooming where we did a short overall haircut keeping the mustache goatee, ears and tail). The amazing groomer took the time to listen to what I wanted and did a perfect job. They even called me halfway through the process to give me an update. I honestly can't say enough great things about them. They are wonderful! THANKS GVAH!!!! March 2025 update: Dr. Gunn is the best Vet we know of and we are convinced that she has healing hands and is doing God's work in caring for our dogs. Our dog probably was probably getting near death when we had our emergency and he'd gotten so sick so fast (seemingly within a few hours). The emergency center we went to (Veterinary Emergency Group "VEG" on Stephanie -don't ever use them) charged almost $200 just to tell us that we needed to spend $1,200 on x-rays (and blood work which was NOT necessary). Worst, was they left me and my dog who was clinging to life waiting and waiting while they worked on another dog, and then one of the workers came over to us about 5AM and asked me if I had made a decision. She didn't even know that the doctor and I had discussed giving my dog antibiotics until I could take him in a couple of hours to GVAH, and then, they wanted to just send me home with pills because I didn't want to pay the $1200 for x-rays and bloodwork when GVAH would soon be opening anyway. I paid their high priced consultation fee and went to to GVAH because the were opening soon after waiting and waiting at VEG. Dr. Gunn's charge was well under $400 for the x-rays (saving us $800) but most important, she gave me a complete explanation of what was going on and treatment options, and she was human and ethical and trustworthy and not trying to shove a bunch of unnecessary services down my throat, whereas VEG even wanted me to pay an additional $88 or something for what was done as part of their initial assessment as I was headed out the door (they did this "surprise" charge after I told them I was going to GVAH because they were opening soon and I wasn't completely sure of their course of treatment). The contrast is no contest. If we ever have another emergency, we will use Tropicana Animal Hospital (affiliated with GVAH) unless GVAH starts doing emergency after hours care. The staff at GVAH always are kind, informative and caring, whether it is routine care or emergency treatment. I am grateful to their staff and their doctors. Update 2026, GVAH is STILL amazing. My baby has stage 4 kidney disease and Dr. Gunn and her staff are compassionate and caring. They have worked tirelessly providing treatment and to show me how to provide fluids at home to my life long companion and make him comfortable. I'm so grateful that he overcame last year's illness and for the extra year we've been able to enjoy him. We're praying, thankful for each day.

Fantastic experience: "Chance" was in rough shape, so we stopped in to a nearby animal ER. Everything was shiny and modern. The receptionist rolled up with a $2k hydraulic desk. So cold, lacking any empathy whatsoever. Made a call & showed up to Green Valley Animal Hospital. This is a facility that prides service over esthetics. Well worn & well loved. Scratches on the doors from thousands of creatures, big and small, who were lucky enough to find this hidden diamond. From the moment we walked in the door, we felt the love. Everyone we made contact with were more concerned about Chance's health than anything else. Once Dr. K sat on the floor next to Chance, we realized just how lucky we were. We talked. She wasn't just concerned with Chance's health, but wanted to hear about his journey & shared some of hers. We were no longer patients, but fellow creatures on this planet that she was going to do everything to help. Chance is on the mend. While we liked our regular vet, they pale in comparison to the treatment and care we received at Green Valley Animal Hospital. The whole team should be proud at the sanctuary they've created.

Negative experience: This has been my third time I take a pet to be looked at and put to sleep because he was sick or it was just time for him to go. So we took my last pet to have him looked at to find out it was time to put him down as well. The veterenirians (most of them) are amazing but the front check out service of the 3 or 4 girls that work there HORRIBLE. As soon as I show up to say my goodbyes first thing they want to ask for is payment of the cremation, to select the URN and other things. How about a little empathy and compassion and let the customer deal and process with what's going on and after you can collect and charge whatever you need to. That was superbad service that took me by surprise and due to what was going on at the moment I totally forgot to complaint to a manager or anything. I will not ever take another pet there again and please retrain your front checkout girls with more human connection instead of worrying about payments first.

Negative experience: Recently after losing a beloved member of our family . Returned next day to transport their remains to crematorium, only to discover that they had been wadded up in a freezer and placed in a trash bag. Horrible people very disrespectful.!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Emilee Larkin is always so patient with Patchy-Poo who is notoriously not the greatest under duress. She is definitely the primary reason we make sure to keep bringing Patch to GVAH and will continue visiting for Patch’s care.

Negative experience: Went in for immunizations. Received influenza shot without being told. I understand being around other animals she needed it. Have the professionalism to tell me what you are doing my dog.

Negative experience: Feel like the doctors and staff at the vet took advantage of my situation! Estimates changing and procedures being added when it wasn’t necessary the first time, so much more! If you want you pet to be genuinely cared for and not seen as a cash grab, Take your pet somewhere else!!

Negative experience: Warning!! Do not bring your pets here. These are the worst vets and techs in Henderson. They almost killed our dog because they don't have proper caring for the pets at this facility. Malpractice issues and unprofessional care from overnight techs. We paid thousands for them to help our dog but they ended up costing us thousands more by mishandling our dog. Worst is that they don't call back or take responsibility to complaints even after months of trying to get a hold of a responsible employee at the facility. We are making a report of malpractice to Vetinary licensing board against Green Valley animal hospital. Worst animal hospital you can take your dog to!!!!!!!!!!

Positive experience: Just started going here with a major problem on my dog, and they accessed the right help and meds for his condition. I like that they have less Doctors that fill in, making it a better chance to have the same doctor for my dog which I like. Prices are fair I think too.

Fantastic experience: Been going here for less than a year but honestly best vet place ever. Front desk is nice and answer quickly and the vet techs are amazing. I want to give a special shout out to Dr.Gunn and Dr.Macy as they are the sweetest and most helpful vets! My fur baby had scary conditions back in March and October and both Dr.Gunn and Dr.Macy did amazing in hearing my concerns, questions, informing me and saving my babys life! Definitely great place to take your babys if you want a sweet and caring vet who care about your fur babies!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Casey Graves took care of our Bracques and now that he's gone she's taking the time and care of our new Frenchie rescue, Bijoux. She's amazingly thorough, knowledgeable and sweet. They love her.

Fantastic experience: Ted has a great time at the hospital when we board him there. He is happy, has so much fun and he is taken care of really well. Ted is a puppy still and he can be a lot sometimes- but I know he is perfectly safe and in great hands there.

Negative experience: They were rude and unprofessional. They want to charge for services my dogs don’t need. For grooming almost $800 dollars for two dogs under 20 pounds. This Animal Hospital is a scam and overpriced all services. For the past two years they increase prices and quality services are worse. I don’t recommend this Animal Hospital.

We had Dr Parveen Hothi she was excellent answered all our questions and concerns. She went above and beyond and gave us a lot of information on how to help our furbaby. I would definitely recommend this vet for your animals. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: This hospital is wonderful and compassionate. We had to make the difficult decision to put down our 11 year old Australian Shepherd, and they held our hand the entire way. Dr. Emilie Larkin was incredibly calm, informative, and loving. She took so much time with us and we never felt rushed or hurried. We are thankful for this hospital and the care they give. Would highly recommend them for all pet needs.

Fantastic experience: This is paws down the best—and most fairly priced—veterinary clinic we’ve ever been to. The staff treat every animal with genuine care and respect, and they extend that same kindness to us as pet parents. Every vet in the practice is wonderful, and you’re sure to find your favorite just like we have. We couldn’t be happier, and many of our friends who bring their fur kids here feel the same way.

Negative experience: The Doctors always great , I have been treated unprofessionally by front desk staff. My first experience was July 2022 my poodle suffered from seizures ...he needed a refill it is life threatening without medicine. I called the receptionist informed me she could not refill it was time for Duke annual exam Duke had to be put down because of the seizure lasted to long and I had no medicine for 1 day I finally got a call from magement who showed compasion and took accountability for the receptionist error Duke had 3 more months fir the required annual visit. Now I face another horrible experience with Liz a front desk staff employee .She even said my distress that I expressed after she said I can't get any service for Kodac to help him stop biting the or the solution he had before or if I could talk to a doctor. I INFORMED HER my distress is from Duke experience for this same reason.That it is reminding me how I lost Duke because I was denied service. Liz told me she will not and im trying to manipulate her with guilt ...I feelt completely dismisive ...I apologized that's not my intention but this happened before to Duke and Kidac was there December 29w4 and she said his ladt exam August Its August 15 I spoke to Liz I even made apt is August 26 and its 2 days still waiting for a doctor to call....Tomorrow I will just take him some where else So disappointed and feel dismissive after even when apologized I was distressed never aggressive or insulting to Liz ...

Fantastic experience: This is the only vet office I will ever use. Dr. K is everything you could ever hope for. She is kind and caring. She only does what is necessary and never demands a laundry list of tests like most Las Vegas vets. She saved my dog Dukes life with helping to manage his pain and soon she will be doing a dental visit with my other pup. I trust her with their lives. Every Veterinarian assistant I have met has been remarkable. The entire office staff is full of wonderful people who you don’t mind spending time with when you are stressed about your animal. I would give this place 100 stars if I could. Take your animal here you won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience as a new client. Dr. Larkin took the time to answer all of my questions and is very knowledgeable. Communication with reception has also been pleasant when I’ve called or emailed. We had our girl spayed this past Saturday and I was impressed with everything from start to finish. Our dog has been healing very well and doing well since the procedure. I feel so happy to have a vet clinic that I feel comfortable taking our pets to and know they will be well taken care of. You guys are doing a great job!

Fantastic experience: Green Valley is the only place I’ll take my animals! Everyone there is so lovely, nice, and knowledgeable. I know I can trust them! My sweet kitty, Buddy, had to be put to sleep unexpectedly earlier this year and they handled the situation with so much grace and compassion. I could go on and on about how much I love them. I’m sorry I found them under stressful and deeply sad circumstances but at least I know I found a vet for life<3

Fantastic experience: A Life-Changing Place for Your Fur Babies in Las Vegas! I cannot say this strongly enough: this is the BEST place in Las Vegas to take your fur babies! My senior dog was traumatized by mistreatment at Seven Hills Vet and has since been extremely scared of vet visits. I had been desperately searching for a new veterinary clinic—one where the doctors, nurses, and entire staff genuinely care. Sadly, at other clinics, the staff often lacked compassion, leaving me heartbroken and hopeless. Then, I saw a recommendation on Facebook for this clinic, and everything changed. From the moment we walked in, Amanda immediately recognized how frightened my dog was. Instead of pushing through the appointment, she gently suggested we come back another time—not worried about her schedule or money, but only about my dog’s well-being. She even walked us to the car. I was blown away. LOVE HER. When we returned today, the experience was even more amazing—if that’s even possible. Amanda, Victoria, and Sammi were incredible. They were calm, compassionate, and completely committed to helping my dog feel safe and comfortable. And then came the cherry on top: Dr. Larkin. WOW WOW WOW. She started by saying, “Let me say hello to him before I start the examination.” That small gesture meant everything. Her empathy and professionalism are unmatched. At last, I’ve found a place that feels like home for me and my fur baby. Now, with full confidence, I can adopt another pet—because I know they’ll be in the best hands possible. Stop searching. This is the place where they truly care about animals.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to GVAH since 2002 and I have always been very happy with my interactions here. I know, like most businesses, they have had some front-desk staffing challenges over the years, but my overall experience with the staff over the years has been great. And the technicians and doctors here have always been top-notch. The primary doctor I have been taking my doggies to for the past eight years has been Dr. Kasparek, and she has always been wonderful. She is always kind, courteous and compassionate and I would highly recommend her and the entire staff at GVAH to anyone looking for care for their furry friends!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this hospital. I’ve been coming here since I moved to Vegas 14 years ago and had a previous dog. I’ve moved all over town and will always commute back to keep my animals with the best.

Negative experience: Dr. Larkin is great but the office staff is horrible! They never answer phone calls/texts, don't follow through on prescriptions and are never on top of things/communication. Took almost a week to finally get prescription for a puppy with a parasite! You're better off protecting your sanity and finding a different place. We have come here for multiple dogs and are done giving them a chance.

Fantastic experience: They were able to see me the same day when my dog was sick. They were kind, fast, and efficient. They even reached out to me the following week to check up on my dog. I'll bring the rest of my pups here in the future.

Fantastic experience: I want to leave a honest review based on my scary experience. My maltipoo ended up really sick and he stopped eating and walking. We were desperate so we ended up taking him to green valley animal hospital. we were honest about not having the funds upfront. My poor baby had gotten parvo at almost a year old. we left him here for 3 days and they worked with us leaving a deposit and the rest when we picked him up. The place is professional, clean, and the communication from the doctor was amazing! She would call me 2-3 times a day to update me on my baby. Early morning and afternoons which really eased us. We were able to come visit him after work right before closing (because I get off close to their closing time.) & I was always attended and allowed in to see my little man. He made a great recovery and the efforts will not go unnoticed. Thanks to the doctor and the staff for taking good care of my baby and keeping up with us with such empathy & support. 5 stars alone with communication. I am grateful I chose this place.

Positive experience: Nice people Good / fair vaccination prices. I do " wish* they'd put a RAILING for steps in front of entrance. I'm getting older balance is not what it was. If u stumbled going down, you'd fall into traffic. I walked on pepples to get across to entrance. But as Farr as vet care, seems pretty good

Fantastic experience: Dylan has been with GVAH since we brought him home. Dylan does not like his visits, but the staff is great with him. Dr. Grewal was very accommodating and spent time to answer questions. Overall a very good experience.

Fantastic experience: It‘s a wonderful clinic. We took our beloved little dog here for anything she needed. Today we had to put her down as she was very old. Everybody was absolutely wonderful to us on this sad and difficult day. They helped us so much through this, we are very grateful. Thank you a million times, Green Valley Animal Hospital.

Negative experience: This is the worst vet place I've ever been to I'm a 17 year old girl that lost my cat of 9 years to swallowing string they said he was going to be okay. Theqy were so okay with him leaving and said nothing would be wrong with him, in the visit they felt him to look for a block and then brought him back and within 24hours after that visit he was dead. He had fluid flooding out of his mouth and nose and he was dead before we could get any help you are vets this is your job to know if they are okay you knew my cat. That wasn't the first time taking him there you should have seen or felt the blockage but you made it seem like it was a regular thing and he was okay all you did was give him liquids and anti nausea that's all you did I can't even give you 0 starts you don't deserve one.

Negative experience: I would never recommend this place to anybody not even to my worst enemies! Animal cruelty at his finest! What they did to my dog is outrageous! If you love your baby never take it to this place! Please If you love your dog don’t take it to do anything here!

Negative experience: Really disappointed about this place, took my 2 years old dog to get his tail amputated because he has happy tail and keep damaging his tail, they quote me for tail amputation, neutered and hernia repair 889 dollar for all together when I say the paperwork I didint really wanted to get him neuter, but hen I let them know they say they were going to charge me more because I didn’t want to get him neutered, I told them it was fine I would pay a little more for it even though didn’t make no sense for me because is less work but hey the less work the more we charge . They gave me a appointment and when the appointment date came up I went to the vet to drop him off and the doctor explained to me the same think that I was told but wasn’t showing me the new estimate, when I ask what was the total after the third time she show me another quote with 1000 dollar above the original quote and proceeded to explain to me they be wise I didn’t neutered my dog it was more expensive than the last quote they show me! Luckily for me I ask to see the quote if not they would have took way more money that the first agreement, I did really like this vet because it was convenient for me, near my house people there were good but this 4 times price change really disappointed me! The first quote was for 889, the second quote was for 1049, the third quote was for 1378 and the last quote was for 1765 the low and 1880 the highest! Really disappointed about this place! I couldn’t find the first quote on my phone but I got it in paper somewhere.

Fantastic experience: I am visiting from CA , and I have been here twice for my beloved doggie and each time received best care. My vet was Dr. Kasperik! I was a walk in and it was fairly quick. I appreciate this vet hospital.

Fantastic experience: We love Green Valley Animal Hospital! Everyone there is so thorough and compassionate. They make a not so fun experience for our 4 legged babies not so terrible! They are quick to get you in for an appt and they talk walk ins!

We recently brought our senior dog in for care, and the compassion, patience, and expertise Dr. Graves showed was amazing. It's a scary time when your pet is sick. Dr. Graves took her time to listen to our concerns, explain everything clearly, and make sure we felt comfortable. Negative experience: Have taken my dog here multiple times and placed a call to make an appointment and reception couldn’t find profile and was not very forthcoming with assistance on making an appointment. I advised her that I had brought me dog since he was a baby and could try another location and she said “ok”.

Fantastic experience: They take care of my babies every time plus guidance to take care of them. My babies been going there for many years. I only have one baby boy and he has anxiety issues and they issues with issue and made some great suggestions. Prices are reasonable and hours are helpful for busy pet parents

Positive experience: We were charged an office visit fee of $69 I do believe. It's my understanding the vet has to actually "touch" the dog in order for a rabies vaccine to be given. That's probably all she did was "touch" her. The vet did not listen to her heart, did not examine her in any way at all (not in front of us at least) except to check out her teeth as explained below. We had also told her she had a red spot on her belly. I picked her front legs up so the vet could see her belly. She didn't touch it or look at it closely. She recommended medicated shampoo. If you're going to charge an office visit fee, the LEAST the vet could do it actually examine her, listen to her heart. She actually did look at her teeth (because I inquired about removing a mole like bump by her ear). She said that could be done at the same time as a dental to save on costs, which is why she looked at her teeth. There is very little plaque on my 1-1/2 year old dogs teeth. The estimate to remove this tiny mole like bump was $1000 - $1400. Ridiculous! It's no wonder we're in such an animal crisis in this state. People can't afford to vet their pets. It was $99 total. $69 for office visit, $15 for rabies vaccination & $14 plus tax for the medicated shampoo.

Fantastic experience: I have now been here 2 separate instances. The first was helping a friend. After that visit, I chose to bring my pet. Not only is the veterinarian; Dr. Hothi, thorough and articulate, she’s friendly and warm with my 4 legged baby. The best part is that every employee I encountered on both visits also displayed the same level of friendliness and warmth toward me and my pet.

Negative experience: So this is a review from at least 2018-2020 unfortunately I had to put my baby down WITH NO IDEA WHY SHE WAS SICK. I chose this place and spent $ on bloodwork that I HAVENT GOTTEN THE Answers TO IN 5+ years. The blood work has to be approved before sent to me why it’s my medical information . Maybe my lawyer can get them and Better hope there isn’t anything serious or i will be taking legal action ! Go to tropicanan animal hospital dr. Noto is a blessing . Unfortunately it was too late for my baby .

Negative experience: One month ago I brought my almost 17 year old cat Lily into this veterinarian for a bath and sani-shave. I called a few days earlier to inquire about the price and to make an appointment. I was told that she needed to have a rabies shot or she could not get the service. I said that was odd, because she had been there once previously and she didn't need to get that shot, but I said OK because I was expecting company and I wanted her to look clean and nice. When I got there (the morning of 12/23/24), I was then told she need a feline feces test for worms. I said I was not told of this when I made my appointment!! They insisted and there was nothing I could do about it. These "services" ended up costing me more than twice as much as other vets! When I picked her up later in the day she was oddly silent. She never meowed on the way home, for the rest of the evening, and part of the next day. She was traumatized! I saw that they had shaved her halfway up her belly and around her tender tits. I felt like they had badly manhandled her and she has never really been the same since. I will NEVER GO BACK THERE (even for my two other younger cats). If I could give them 0 stars I would. This vet is terrible for cats! UPDATE: Lily died on February 16, 2025, one month from turning 17, and only a month and a half after she was seen at Green Valley Animal Hospital. She never fully recovered from the trauma. I am deeply tormented that I let this vet perform all those unnecessary procedures they like to call "services." Never again.

Fantastic experience: The staff was so amazing with everyone who came in. The office was really busy but they were very efficient. The Doctor and the techs were amazing with our dog who is very scared at the vet. They did a wonderful job of addressing our concerns and spent time explaining how to be help our pet.

Fantastic experience: Every time I come, the staff is so incredibly kind and the vet has a true passion and care for the animals here. My dog is so terrified of the vet but they have always helped him feel more at ease. Prices are a little high but I would definitely say it's justified for the quality of care.

Fantastic experience: I am so thankful to Dr. Graves for taking care of my boy Chance in his time of need. She did his emergency surgery with no hesitation and took care of him wonderfully, along with the staff, while my normal doctor, Dr. K, was out for her own medical needs, which I sure hope she is recouping well. I can't thank everyone enough for taking care of Chance -- and of course Brit too when she needs it!! Love everyone here!!!! Thank you so much!!!

Fantastic experience: Great staff, they never try to up-sale and are very affordable. Most importantly they actually really care about your pets. I am so grateful to have found them.

Negative experience: >>>BEWARE<<< I set an appointment to bring three dogs in. When setting the appointment I was asked what the reason was for bringing the dogs in. I explained two needed rabies vaccines and the third was having issues with scratching his butt so I wanted to see if they could help find out why. One of the two that was coming in for rabies also had a wound on her paw that didn't heal correctly and I just wanted to find out if there was anything that could be done. The one with the paw issue was previously diagnosed by green valley animal hosp as having allergies. Jessica Mendonca-Gunn was the Vet who saw us for the appointment. Even though I had already explained why my dogs were there to the person setting the appointment, Jessica Mendonca-Gunn asked again why they were there that day. I explained again. Jessica Mendonca-Gunn took my dogs to the back to examine and perform the rabies. When she came back she handed me some printouts talking about allergies (be careful when they hand you printouts because they will charge you the consultation fee). We discussed the one dog that was scratching his butt and she said he has allergies. We never discussed my other dog that had a wound that didn't heal correctly. The front desk person came in the room and asked if I would like to check out while still waiting for Jessica Mendonca-Gunn to bring meds for my scratching butt dog. I said yes (big mistake). When I left I was handed the invoice with all the charges. Since I had three dogs on leashes I really didnt have a chance to look at the bill. When I got home I looked at the bill and found that Jessica Mendonca-Gunn had charged me $67 for consultation of my dog that had a wound on her paw. I called them right away and explained Jessica Mendonca-Gunn never discussed her paw why was I being charged a consultation fee? The person on the phone placed me on hold and asked Jessica Mendonca-Gunn. When she came back on the line she said Jessica Mendonca-Gunn told her it was for allergies. I explained we already know she has allergies because Green Valley Animal had already prescribed cytopoint previously and I had be charged $67 consultation two months prior. I explained I wasnt there to determine what caused the wound I was there to see if there was anything they could do about it not healing correctly. I was told they would call me back. The call back took over a week. So I called them and was told that Jessica Mendonca-Gunn insists she spoke to me about the paw and thats why she was charging me... Long story short Jessica Mendonca-Gunn lied and refused to credit me the consultation fee. I had to argue with the person on the phone and asked to speak to the manager. She said she was the manager. She put me on hold for about 5 mintues and came back. She said "it seems like you have lost confidence with their doctors so they will refund the consultation but suggested I go to a different vet hospital (in other words they kicked me out). It is very shocking that they pull this on people. I was glad to not go back because I refuse to pay someone who lies just to pad the bill! Be careful when going to this vet they will try to over charge you.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Larkin is an Angel on earth. She is the most honest, kind and compassionate human being and I'm so grateful I know I can see her when my babies need care. I followed her from her last place of employment, because she was so awesome. She's dedicated to giving the best care and truly wants to help you. She actually wants to heal and better the lives of animals and she puts that first and foremost with every interaction. She spayed my Bella and has done several dentals and a surgery on my sweet Vincent. He's getting older, but I'm never afraid to leave him in her hands.

Fantastic experience: They are kind and professional, I called and told them I wouldn't make it to the appointment I will be late they said that was ok. Our dog wouldn't come in the door and the front desk ladies came and got him in the door. They also helped getting him in the room. Hes 160lb mastiff mix. He also refused to walk to the scale so it took 5 of us to get him on the scale even one of the Vets helped us out. I've never felt more comfortable taking him to vet. The Vets, nurses and front desk ladies are just awesome!!! Thank you so much!!!

Fantastic experience: Since moving go Vegas, I have taken my dog here for all of her checkups and procedures. The facility is clean, their wait times (even on the weekends) are relatively short, staff treat Matcha with care, and they are responsive. I recently had Matcha go in for a dental cleaning, and the staff were very helpful. Even though there were no open appointments prior to the end of their dental cleaning promotion (we had to schedule it the day after it ended), they still gave me the discount and Matcha a free bath. They even texted me the day after her procedure to see how she was doing, and they were so helpful. I’ve taken Matcha here for everything she’s needed, and I don’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 for this clinic. Knowledgeable, Patient, understanding and incredibly supportive. I had to take my senior dog in as an emergency. I did not call ahead, I just showed up, I was panicked and very upset. The front desk staff was quick to assist me, understood me when I did not want to be separated from my dog and had a technician out to look at him very quickly. I did not have to wait long to be seen by Dr. Gunn. She was so kind and gentle with my dog, she was obviously passionate about her career and helping animals. She provided lots of helpful information and recommended an ER for after hours if anything were to occur. I am beyond thankful for the team here at this clinic. My dog means more than the world to me and the care they showed him was amazing.

Fantastic experience: I love Green Valley Animal Hospital and we especially love seeing Dr. K. She is friendly and very thorough. I always have a list of questions and she patiently answers them. We feel like we have a partner in our dogs' health. Invaluable!

Positive experience: The wait time can be long even with an appointment, but the staff is great. We also brought a stray dog in recently to get his first round of shots, and they didn't charge a veterinarian fee for the visit.

Fantastic experience: I had never been to this vet before. But i chose this place to have my dog be put down after calling around for prices. . When I walked in, I was questioning my decision a little. But, they processed me quickly and put us in a room. The vet that came in do a “quality of life assessment” was thorough and straight forward. I decided it was in my baby’s best interest to end her suffering. Hardest damn decision I have ever made and the doctor and the staff were so supportive and sympathetic. I made the right choice by going there. The prices are more reasonable than I expected and the people really care. All have amazing “bed side manor” I will be trying this place for regular vet care as well for my other baby. Good job green valley pet hospital. I’ve never been so impressed by this industry as I am with you guys.

Negative experience: i have been here multiple times since it has been close to my house but here is my reasoning why I give this place a one star i had my baby girl eva for years we have been going to this animal hospital for some check ups and she was healthy and normal. In the summer of September 2022 my baby would have an injury that had to require surgery, here is the thing my dog is a lab boxer mix and boxers are known to having lipoma like bumps on their body’s which are not cancerous or harmful in anyway but our baby had one on her back right leg and we did researched and got it checked we got the same answer and results but during the time that i have explained my baby got a injury from our youngest dog thinking her lipoma like ball was a “ball” and one of her k9 teeth latched on to it and gashed it open we took her in and they said it wasn’t in any way infected but we had to get it removed so we paid the 10 grand surgery. Post after her surgery everything was normal up till November 2023 and March 2024 where my dog was experiencing asthmatic like breathing where she was was like hyperventilating and was throwing up mucus that had a yellow pigment in it we came back here to get her checked they said her oxygen levels were normal they said it is possible it is cancer but never spoke of it if she had it or not, then they offered us to do a X-ray saying it could be pneumonia fluid in her lungs came back with the photos said everything was normal and checked the white blood cells in her organs everything was normal her liver white blood cell level was higher than usual but they said nothing was wrong but deep down i knew something was wrong but they prescribed her some antibiotics and everything was going normal till my dog started experiencing those same symptoms again but before i go more into detail when we asked the vet if it could be anything in her throat but they almost avoided that question i asked and tried to charge me extra. When my dog started those same symptoms we thought we could change her diet maybe its the manufacture in her dog food that could causing this so we moved to stuff like broth and wet food everything went normal until on a Sunday September 22, 2024 my baby will sadly pass way in front of us i tried everything giving her cpr on the way to the hospital but we sadly had to let her go it was the hardest thing it was like a part of you was ripped out and touching that missing part where it’s supposed to be but not there anymore. Later the vet from a different animal hospital we went to explained it could have been her throat that could have been closing and collapsing that could have lead to what was causing those symptoms instead of this vet explaining that and what we could do i sadly lost my baby girl and i also have heard complaints from my friend who she said this vet has almost killed get dogs multiple time. My theory could but what if the day of that surgery caused my dog to slowly suffer cause of the oxygen tank they were using for her to breathe, was not sterilized? And what if the tube was down her throat if you think about caused an infection and was not lubed either as it was rubbing against her throat caused it to collapse. That’s my best guest if you love your fur babies don’t come here if you want them to live my baby girl is gone and now at peace may her story be a reminder to stop all this and killing our babies may she rest in peace. ❤️️

Fantastic experience: My dog was yelping in pain out of the blue, brought her in and Dr. K's spinal diagnosis was spot on. Meds cured all the pain away. Her recommendations on how to keep it from coming back so far has worked. Had some other major problems in the past like face swollen... had surgery and all gone. :) They also cured my other dog's heart disease in which almost killed him but they prescribed Pimobendan (which is priced the best there) and has given him three more years and counting to live which I'm so grateful for. The only thing I have a complaint about is the cost of an ultrasound which is what most Vets charge but I found one that was almost half the price. Other than that they win on all counts. They are farther away but I will keep bringing my dogs to them. Thanks GVAH! and in particular Dr. K which I highly recommend you ask for her although the other Vets are good too. And she isn't too hard on the eyes (think Anna Kendrick) if you know what I mean hehe...

Fantastic experience: Started at this office when our vet in Boulder city wouldn’t make time even for an emergency. The veterinarians are awesome, the staff very professional and courteous. We are so grateful for. Green Valley Animal Hospital and the wonderful car they have given to our 16-year-old dog.

Negative experience: We had a very sick pupper and thankfully Green Valley Animal Hospital could see us right away. It is convenient from my home and our regular Vet is further and was booked, so we decided to give Green Valley animal hospital a try. We were quickly checked in and seen and our pup given x-rays and hydration and something for pain. I saw the Vet for maybe 5-8 minutes of the hour and a half I was there but didn't think about it all the much since we were a walk-in and the vet tech was very attentive and professional. I saw her for the billing choices and she provided the description of the X-rays as the vet saying they looked "gerpy" and they were sending them out to be read and I would hear from the Vet later that day even if they had to stay late. I was assured they didn't think there was a blockage so we went home to wait for the Vet to call with further details and X-ray results. I did not receive a call that evening, even though I called a few minutes before closing time l, I was told the vet had not left notes and would call me in the morning. I did not receive a call the next morning so we called about 10. We were told the Vet was busy and when we asked if we could assume there was nothing to worry about the person on the phone said she couldn't confirm that and the Vet would call us. FINALLY received a call about 4:45pm from the vet with a report of things we already assumed. Our pup was unfortunately still in discomfort and we ended up going to our regular Vet and see them for some help and resolution. Perhaps if I was an established client, with a relationship with theae caregivers our experience would have been different. Our pup is on the mend and while thankful they were able to see us quickly and though they are considerably closer we will not be returning to GVA Hospital.
