Ann Road Animal Hospital: Reviews
Positive experience: They did a great job spaying my cat at a good price of $140. My only complaint is they wanted to keep her overnight even though she was dropped off at 6:30 am. I felt that would be added stress for my recovering pet and insisted on picking her up same day. She was ready for pickup at 1:30 pm and all went well.
Fantastic experience: kind staff & showed they cared for my dog. was able to answer my questions & got everything i needed done properly!
Negative experience: Service at Anne has steadily been getting worse but my most recent visit was the last straw. Long story short my female cat was having urination issues. All symptoms were pointing towards UTI or some kind of irritation/inflammation. Took her to Anne right away for tests. Called the next day for results but they didn’t have any yet. Called the following day and they told me the doctor would call back to discuss results. I waited an hour in which my cat started peeing blood. I called back expressing she was getting worse. They told me to wait another hour. I did, still no call. I call two hours later and again am told the doctor will call back. Around 5pm I call back because if they have medicine I’d like to pick it up before they close. The doctor tells me results are negative for everything and this is behavioral. Essentially telling me there’s nothing to be done but order anxiety meds. This doesn’t sit right with me, she’s still struggling. End of story, I went to Centennial Animal Hospital for a second opinion. They ran more tests and gave me actual medication to treat pain, infection, and inflammation. My cat is now completely normal and fine. A similar incident happened with my dog at Anne where they drew blood and took urine only to call me the next day saying something happened and they needed to draw blood again and it would be complimentary. I never received results for these tests.
Positive experience: I’ve been using Ann Road Animal Hospital, for a long while. To me, it’s a decent place. The staff is always nice and get the job done in a reasonable amount of time. Back in 2019 when my dog Jake passed away, they waited for me to bring my dog in after hours. I truly appreciated that. There grooming it quick and decent, then again I only used them twice for an All around shave. The duration was only 3 hours which isn’t bad. Now that I have new dogs, Ann Road is my go to Animal Hospital.
Negative experience: There should be an option to rate ZERO out of five stars. First impressions are everything and when you need an emergency vet service and you get told to bring your pet in, you go in, you fill out paperwork, you answer questions, you sit there for 10 minutes for them to come and tell you that they close in 30 minutes they cannot see your pet. Then to advise me to take my pet up the street to the next emergency hospital …..completely unacceptable!!! I called them they deemed it an emergency, tell me to come in. I told them I’d be there within 20 to 30 minutes tops. They said that was fine. Then you turned my pet away. Was it really an emergency? I will NEVER recommend or return to this “animal hospital”! I will also be letting my vet know to NOT recommend this place!
Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is absolutely AWFUL! Long story short, for about 4 months I went to this Animal Hospital. In the beginning my cat had cold-like symptoms and they told me it we just feline herpes. Then when it didn’t get better they said it was bronchitis, but couldn’t figure out if it was viral, bacterial, or fungal and they couldn’t tell me what caused it. I paid for test after test while the vet just kept giving me more and more antibiotics. The vet kept reassuring me that it should get better. All the while I’m bringing my cat to follow up appointments, spoon feeding her food, giving her daily meds, and continuing to pay this vet because I thought she was going to get better. Then after things didn’t get better and my cat stopped responding to the antibiotics, stopped eating and drinking, had lost a considerable amount of weight, her eyes were completely clouded over with inflammation, and she had no energy whatsoever, I finally made the decision that it was time to end her suffering. I took her to this same animal hospital that I had been taking her to the entire time. It was an extremely painful decision that I had struggled to make. When I went in I told them the situation, paid, and the girl at the front who was very nice walked me to the back where they do the euthanasia. I had my cat on the bed for the procedure just to have the vet on duty come in and tell me that I was rushing this decision, she has an oath as a vet and she couldn’t sleep at night euthanizing a cat this young, and that I needed to force feed her and continue to fight for her. She also recommended that I go to the specialty vet on trop because maybe they’d be able to diagnose the issue. So another 2 days go by and at this point I’m force feeding her, but I’m having to massage the food down her throat because her throat muscles weren’t even fully functioning anymore. I then took her to the specialty vet because I was desperate for some kind of answer. When I got there the girl at the front desk took my cat back and within 2 minutes she came back and said that the vet felt euthanasia was the best option. The vet then came in and told me that my cat had developed FIP from a Carona Virus and the Ann road animal hospital should have been able identify this from the beginning because of her symptoms and age. I had to say goodbye to my sweet cat Jynx that day, and I will never forgive this vet for the pain and suffering that they made me put her through. I dont even care that I spent about 3k with this place. My issue is for months I was giving her antibiotics and making her suffer through something she was never going to beat, and they could have told me that from the beginning. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE. Go to a real vet
Negative experience: 3rd time here with an appt and still have to wait over 1/2 hr.
Negative experience: I recently boarded my cat here and would NOT recommend. Her boarding dates were incorrect at check in, we weren't told they charge extra to administer medication, we had to ask for her meds because they forgot to give it to us during pickup, and they told us they lost the syringe to administer her meds. They also didn't follow the food instructions I gave and we didn't find out until pickup that she was kept in the back with dogs her entire stay. Extremely disappointed in the experience here and won't be back.
Fantastic experience: I have always been very pleased not only with the doctors but with the front desk staff as well
Negative experience: If you are comfortable using vets who are overly confident with using AI for both administrative and medical decisions this is a great place to go. If you prefer having medical and scheduling decisions made by people who rely on their brains, medical information and practical knowledge highly recommend going literally anywhere else.
Negative experience: Me and my stepdad went here for my cat as she took a tumble and really badly injured her leg. The vet said it would require surgery that she would be able to provide that day, again she said she could do it that day but when we got the estimated total. When we saw the price, we asked about the additional prices being added, that’s when she backpedaled saying that she could no longer provide the surgery herself and would need to bring in outside resources. This added an additional unnecessary 2k to the price. In my opinion so unprofessional, it seems like their just for the money and not for actual animals.
Fantastic experience: The staff was very nice and accommodating. We brought our two dogs in for an early appointment for vaccinations. They realized our concern with bringing our Rottweiler around other dogs, so they made sure to bring him inside through another door to help avoid and prevent any confrontation. I've been taking my fur babies here for over 20 years.
Fantastic experience: Doctor Wilson is amazing. Talked to us about everything and broke down all the info we needed to help out cat get better. Natalie and Monica y'all rock!! So helpful and kind. I highly recommend this animal hospital .
Negative experience: Unprofessional staff, unnecessary wait times, severe lack of communication and lack of care. If you care for your pet, find another location.
Negative experience: I’m writing on behalf of my grieving parents, who just lost their beloved dog after what we now know was a severe misdiagnosis by this clinic. On December 8, my mother brought our dog in because she was lethargic and clearly not herself. She was told it was only an ear infection and that our dog was otherwise healthy, with no further concerns raised and instructions to return in 30 days. Less than a month later on 12/18/25, our dog’s condition worsened. When my parents sought care elsewhere, they were devastated to learn she had advanced lung cancer with extensive spots throughout her lungs. She was suffering, and they were forced to make the heartbreaking decision to put her down. What makes this unacceptable is that the signs were there, they were voiced, and they were dismissed. Had this been properly investigated on December 8, our dog would not have had to suffer unnecessarily. When my mother called Anne Road Animal Hospital today on her birthday, to explain that she had just put her dog down the night before, the response was shocking. Instead of accountability, the clinic attempted to shift blame, claiming that “stress from an ear infection” caused the cancer to progress—rather than acknowledging the failure to diagnose a serious, life-ending condition. This experience was unprofessional, negligent, and devastating. If you love your animal and expect thorough care—not excuses after the fact—I strongly urge you to think twice before trusting this clinic with your pet’s life.
Fantastic experience: The last thing you want to have happen on a road trip is to have your pet get sick! That's what happened to our dog in Las Vegas. I callex around to find a vet who could help. Ann Road Animal Hospital accepted walk ins, but even better, I was able to get an appointment. I was given a complete estimate that ranged from worst case scenario to the best case. All scenarios were explained well. Testing showed our dog was not the worst case scenario, but she needed meds. And they were able to get us what she needed. Dr. Reeves and the staff were great. And we were able to continue the road trip knowing our dog would improve.
Fantastic experience: As always, super clean as you walk in smiles on their faces behind the desk and you could see all the little other puppies and kitties it is in there. They’re not always smiling though. Thanks for the staff for being wonderful.!!
Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE! 3½ hours for a nail trim, teeth cleaning and wash. Both of my dogs came back out nails untrimmed, teeth not clean with bad breath and eye boogers still in both of their eyes. This is not the first time this has happened. Staff is extremely friendly but it does not make up for the lack of communication and service. If you love your animals youll take them somewhere else.
Fantastic experience: Nice and helpful staff that answered all of my questions and they're super nice to my dog!!!
Fantastic experience: Ann Road Animal Hospital has been an excellent source of animal care for our family. I have always been able to get my Yorkies into see a Vet in a timely manner. The front desk, technicians and Vets have shown not only the best care for the animals but also their human family. Highly recommend this office.
Negative experience: I have been bringing my puppy there ever since I rescued the little guy (it was the closest vet) . I was under the impression that this veterinary office loved the animals they treat. However I was wrong. Every thing is a cash grab and their main goal is to inflate your bill!! My pet is suffering from a common case of puppy acne. Keep in mind I’ve build a rapport with this vet. So you’d think it be zero problem in getting some anti microbial wipes. In no way am I looking for a hand out I am more than willing to pay for any prescriptions. However they are demanding a full exam fee,(so they can charge for all sorts of test). I have sent pictures of my puppy’s acne to them and they informed me they couldn’t deduce what the condition was. It was puppy acne any vet can see that! They prioritize profit over the health of pets, and that is absolutely deplorable. Will never be bringing my baby back to that place instead will opt for a veterinary clinic that makes education decisions based on the love and compassion for animals, not profit margins. Additionally they tried to make me give my puppy an extra dosage of a parvo vaccination because they failed to update my babies shot record. Some of the staff really do love the animals that they interact with. But that love and compassion is not presented by the people whom are in charge of the day to day decision making.
Hello Mr. Dorsey,
Our goal is always to provide the highest standard of care and transparency for every patient we see.
For your pet’s safety, we are required to perform an examination before prescribing or dispensing any new or refill medication — even for conditions that may appear familiar. This ensures there hasn’t been any change in your pet’s overall health or that the symptoms aren’t being caused by something else that requires different treatment. These policies are in place to protect our patients and follow veterinary medical regulations.
Regarding the vaccine concern, we take medical record accuracy very seriously. We would never administer a duplicate vaccine without verifying a pet’s records. If you believe there was an error, we welcome the opportunity to review your pet’s chart and clarify any confusion.
We understand how much your puppy means to you, and we’re always happy to go over your pet’s care plan, records, or treatment costs in detail so you feel confident and informed. Please reach out to our management team at 702-579-9111 or by email at [email protected] so we can discuss this directly.
Negative experience: I've been bringing my dogs to this facility for a couple of years now. It’s always been convenient, and I haven’t had many issues—just basic shots and routine care. Yes, it does have an odor, but I’ve always chalked that up to it being an animal facility. Thursday evening, I brought my dog Mariah in because she had eaten a corn on the cob and was vomiting. I was worried about a possible blockage. They were the only clinic that could see me the same day—which, looking back, might have been a red flag. In the past, staff would always take my pets to the back for exams. This time, after specifically asking on the phone to have everything done in front of me, I was only allowed to accompany Mariah to the back to get weighed. Mariah was energetic and had no symptoms other than vomiting. The vet tech returned without my dog but with a list of recommended treatments and costs for me to approve. The doctor didn’t come in until the end of the visit. They suggested x-rays (which I expected) for $300, but also wanted to run two sets of blood panels. When I asked why both were needed, the tech mentioned checking for organ function and sepsis. I questioned why they’d check for sepsis without signs of infection, and only then was I told Mariah had a slight fever. It felt like I wouldn’t have gotten this information if I hadn’t asked. In hindsight, I believe the doctor should have explained the diagnosis, treatment, and recommendations directly, rather than having a young, inexperienced tech present me with a $650 bill to sign off on. It felt like the hospital was taking advantage of my concern for Mariah, similar to how car dealerships upsell add-ons. When the doctor finally came in and Mariah was brought back, I was told nothing was found in the initial x-rays, but they would send them out for further review. The doctor strongly recommended leaving Mariah overnight on IV fluids for monitoring. I declined, as I felt I could care for her better monitor her at home. I was told the doctor would call the next day to review the x-rays and check on Mariah. It’s now Sunday morning, and no one has called to check on Mariah or share the results from the “trained eyes” review. It feels like their concern for my dog ended the moment I paid the bill and left. I called to follow up, gave all my information—including my phone number, my dog’s name, and the reason for my call—to the receptionist. After waiting 20 minutes for the office manager, she got on the phone and immediately called my dog the wrong name. She (name starts with a D) then said she would “go check on my little one in the back to let me know how she’s doing”—even though I had made it clear several times that Mariah was at home with me. It’s honestly baffling and incredibly frustrating that there’s such a lack of listening and basic communication between staff members. It makes me wonder what is going on at this place when they can’t even communicate with each other or keep basic details straight. I had to explain everything all over again and express my frustration with the lack of communication and the mismatch between the high fees and poor service. I also mentioned that I’d seen similar complaints in other reviews but had chosen to give them the benefit of the doubt. After another hold, I was told all the doctors were busy, but Dr. Adams would call me back. That’s where things stand now. I will be looking for a new animal hospital that truly cares about animals and not just profits. I spent more time discussing the bill with the vet tech than I did with the doctor, and the lack of follow-up—after being told it was so important to keep Mariah overnight—is both unprofessional and disappointing..
Hello Erik and Jamie,
We’re truly sorry to hear about your recent experience with Mariah’s visit and appreciate you taking the time to share this detailed feedback. Our team’s goal is always to provide thorough medical care while maintaining clear communication and transparency every step of the way.
We understand how stressful it can be when a beloved pet is unwell, and it’s never our intention for clients to feel unheard or pressured. Our doctors work closely with our veterinary nurses to explain treatment plans, diagnostics, and costs — but it’s clear that in this case, our communication fell short. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and confusion that caused.
Your concerns about follow-up and record accuracy are important to us, and we’d like the opportunity to review Mariah’s case directly to ensure all findings and recommendations are properly communicated. Please reach out to our management team at 702-579-9111 or by email at [email protected], so we can personally connect with you.
We value the trust you’ve placed in us over the years and genuinely care about Mariah’s well-being. Thank you again for your feedback — it helps us continue improving the level of care and communication our clients and patients deserve.
Fantastic experience: We have been taking our fur babies to Ann Road Animal Hospital, for probably 14 years or more. Dr. Bullard is amazing & the staff have always been very helpful & kind. Highly recommend & appreciate them.
Thank you so much! We will get this over to Dr. B!
Negative experience: This place is hell. Does not matter if you book an appointment or walk in the wait time is the same. It takes forever. FOREVER. When your animal is sick the last thing you want to do is wait forever for help. The communication is terrible from technicians to vet or, vet and tech to pet owner, they don't know what is going on. Repeating what is wrong with your pet is one thing, them not knowing if an injection was given or not is another. I don't even know for sure if my kitten got her shot or not because the communication was so bad. I was told in the room we were in that the vet would be in to administer the shot waited forever and finally my kitten pooped which was why we were even in there (constipation suspicion). So I leave the exam room to say we don't need the injection can it be removed, only to be told they already administered it. Now I ask why was I waiting in the room for it for so long then? I'm charged for an injection I dont know if my kitten even had or needed (I found out it was an injection to alleviate vomiting -my kitten was constipated), with a bill for an X-ray she likely didn't need and refusal for vaccinations she probably could have had and did need. I was actually told by the vet that treated my kitten they were not well versed in reading X-rays and the results would be sent out and I am supposed to receive a call with confirmation that nothing appears to be wrong. But that wasn't enough of my money so they threw in some cat food too - after telling me my kitten was "maybe too stressed to eat because of changes in their environment [living with me]." A kitten that up until 24 hours prior was eating very well, ravenously even, for weeks in my home. They treated me like I was an idiot. The only reason I was during this visit is for letting them treat my kitten and allowing them to treat me the way they did. All this after trying once more to give this place a shot after 6 foster kittens I brought back in April when they tried to haggle with me about testing all 6 kittens trying to charge me upwards $2k+. I'm not exaggerating they haggled. Tech left the room and came back several times with different numbers of kittens they wanted to test/charge for. This after getting different quotes on it will be one wellness fee for full litter to deciding actually it will be 2 visit/wellness check fees, 1 fee per 3 kittens. This place doesn't care about your pet. They care about how much they can charge you, taking advantage of the fact that you care. If you care for your pet please don't go here. If you care for veterinary care worth your money please don't go here.

Negative experience: Horrible Experience – Avoid This Vet! I’m absolutely furious with this clinic. I brought my two cats in for a routine dental cleaning and requested updates throughout the day. By 2 p.m., I called for an update and was told they had just been put under anesthesia. I assumed they'd be done by closing, so I arrived 10 minutes before they closed, only to find out they assumed my cats would stay overnight without asking me! To make matters worse, I was lied to earlier: only one cat was sedated at 2 p.m., and the other wasn’t put under until closing time. They overbooked themselves, probably for greed, and now my cats, who have never been away from home, had to stay overnight. When I arrived the next morning, there was no apology from the vet for the miscommunication or the inconvenience! The lack of communication and professionalism is appalling. I would NEVER recommend this place. 0/10, stay away!
Negative experience: Terrible vet clinic. They took blood work and X-rays and never called with the results. Called multiple times trying to get the results and was always told they would call us back and a month later they still never did. Just took our money and never cared. It's more expensive but go to creature comforts, they are absolutely amazing and actually care.
Fantastic experience: Appointment for 9 10 , check in at 8 58 , room by 930 out at 10 20 or so Nail trim , general check up and anal decompaction Staff ,nice and organized, Dr was nice Treatment of muffin , kind amd gentle Good service , I recommend
Fantastic experience: We had to put our sweet boy down on October 16 and everybody all the staff the doctor was absolutely amazing considering the circumstances they were honest, very reasonably price and beyond that took absolutely great care of my family and my Frankie in our time of need if you need a vet veterinarian whether it shot shots or something serious. I would definitely take my Animal here..
Fantastic experience: Love ♥️ANN ROAD ANIMAL HOSPITAL ❤️ highly recommend ,all my pets go to this place for 6years now, also I referred all my clients from Pet Wishes Spa
Negative experience: This animal hospital/vets are the worst in Las Vegas i definitely would not recommend anyone ever taking their animals. My dog had a ear infection she came home scratching all over my only thought was she caught lice or allergic to the meds that cost me $75 for them to apply in her ears ,so I called made a appointment asked if I was going to be charged they said no so I brought her back next day ,when I got there they wanted to charge me to switch out the meds and for the visit!!! So basically my dog is miserable scratching all over has bad meds and it cost me $300 plus plus if I switch out meds, I’m taking her to Henderson I would rather pay another vet not associated with Ann rd chains and spend another $300 then give them another cent they care nothing for the animals all about the money! This is my second bad experience I would never go back!! I actually suggest reporting them to the BBB
Hi Danielle, we’re sorry to hear you were disappointed with your recent visit. We sincerely hope you find a vet to help with your pet's ongoing issues that require consistent care and follow-up. While we made several recommendations to help manage your babies condition, we understand your concerns and welcome the opportunity to discuss them further. Please contact the hospital directly so we can assist you.
Negative experience: I made a boarding reservation on Monday 5 Oct 25 (for nov 2-7, 2025) for my two dogs. Your rep told me my dog (Bea) would need a boardtella shot and fecal test. And she made me a reservation on Tuesday (Oct 5th @ 6pm) for these items. When I arrived with Bea, your counter staff told me Bea didn't need a shot or test. She walked to the back and confirmed that with one of your doctors. Please stop your staff from issuing incorrect information. I know they are trying to be helpful, but being "correct" is more important.
Fantastic experience: Took Rocky & Remington to ARAH today for the monthly allergy shots, and skin check. Remington also received vaccines he was due for. The front desk staff was wonderful, checked us in right away, and in a room within a few minutes of walking through the door. Destiny and Dr. Bullard were great taking care of Rocky and Remington. They explained Remington’s skin and ear infection treatment plan. They also said to watch out for vaccination reactions. Jordan who handles the prescriptions is awesome, she always explains all the medications and asks me if I have any questions. Jordan also fixed an issue with my pet insurance and made sure the care Remington received today was covered saving me hundreds of dollars! After getting home Remington started having facial swelling and his skin turned red. I contacted Mel a veterinary technician at ARAH and she told me to bring Remington back in. Upon arrival they took Remington to the back and Dr. Bullard and Mel evaluated Remington and administered Benedry/Prednisone shots to resolve the swelling and redness. Destiny also assisted again and was reassuring. The entire staff at ARAH are an absolute amazing Team and give the best care to all animals! Thank you!!!
Hello Dianne! Thank you for leaving a review! We're overjoyed that you had such a fantastic experience with us at Ann Road Animal Hospital. Your feedback means the world to us!
Fantastic experience: This place is great. They take really good care of their clients and their pets. I look forward to coming here more often for vaccinations at regular check ups. It’s about $17 Per vaccination. I came in for a first set of vaccinations for my puppy and the annuals for my two other dogs.
Negative experience: Waited over an hour and half for vaccines. At one point was the only person in the lobby for 30 minutes. Never came.
Negative experience: We had a scheduled appointment today for 2 vaccines. 2! We were there for over an hour watching people come and go. 30 minutes into our wait I went to make sure our pet was checked in. The gal said he was but he had many shots. I said 2 correct? She said yes. So I guess 2 is a lot now. We weren’t the only one. There was a lady next to us that was there for the same with her dog. She has to wait the same amount of time. It was ridiculous!
Negative experience: Got my dog neurtured there along with some vaccines, which we had an appointment for, but ended up waiting an hour anyways to get in. They then had to hold our dog over night due to an emergency procedure for another pet. When coming in for the post checkup we asked about a possible lump on her back right. Turned out that the lump could’ve been due to all of her vaccine injections and to just monitor it, Doc took no more than 5-7 min looking at it. Apparently since we originally thought the lump wasn’t due to the neuter that created an extra 70$ exam fee even though it ended up being apart of the neuter operation. That is insane and extremely scammy. I’m starting to look at other options as that was just sickening to me.
Fantastic experience: I've always had a great experience here. The staff are caring and considerate, and the vets are very practical about their care recommendations. I've never felt pressured into accepting expensive treatment plans and always felt included in the decision making process so that we can pick the best course of action for my pets that works with my situation. So refreshing to finally have a vet that I don't feel is squeezing me for as much money as possible. Thanks Ann Road Animal Hospital! One suggestion - the front door slams shut and startles my cats while we're in the waiting area. It would be great if a soft door closer could be installed.
Negative experience: Receptionist needs to find a better attitude, imagine being so stubborn and rude when a customer wants to spend money but the receptionist knows what the customer wants more than the customer. Not sure how people keep their job.
Negative experience: Please don’t take your pet here. I had a really upsetting experience and I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through the same. They put my dog under anesthesia and then called me after to try and add more charges. At that point, I felt like I didn’t have a choice since he was already under. What was supposed to be a $270 neuter ended up costing $470. I even saw a $60 charge for an injection I never agreed to — they just added it on. Drop-off was at 8am, but they didn’t do his surgery until much later in the day. I got a call around 3pm saying he was ready, showed up at 3:30, and still had to wait another hour and a half to actually get him. The whole place felt super disorganized, and it honestly seemed like they rushed his surgery toward the end of the day.
Fantastic experience: We have been taking our kitty with an autoimmune disorder here and wouldn't go anywhere else!!! We saw Dr Singh who was able to diagnose and get her on the right path and when he left for another amazing opportunity/journey we switched to Dr Bullard...both vets have worked hard to diagnose treat and maintain our girl and when needed confused with a specialist to help keep our cost of having to actually go see one down....yes the wait can be long and the front desk staff not always the best but the doctors make it worth every inconvenience (which really isn't even that bad if you schedule an early morning appointment) 8/20/25 called yesterday to schedule a visit for a sick kitten and was able to get in 1st thing this morning. Front desk was great the wait wasn't bad and of course Dr Bullard was as amazing as he always is!!!! Turns out kitty is just like having a child and when you take them to the doctor they are amazingly fully recovered so we are back home and happy!!!
Negative experience: DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!!! Read all of the reviews!!!! I was going to have my dog seen here until I walked into the building and the worst smell was lingering. It didn’t feel clean or safe. The vibe was absolutely horrible. So I walked out. I should have trusted the reviews before I thought to myself to even give them a chance. People leave reviews to help others in my case. So thank you to everyone for posting their honest review.
Hi Alexis. We’re very sorry to hear about your experience. Cleanliness and comfort are top priorities for us, and we take your feedback seriously. We would like to learn more about the day and time of your visit so we can investigate what may have contributed to the odor and environment you described. Please reach out to us directly at [email protected] so we can address your concerns personally. We truly value feedback as it helps us improve the experience for both pets and their families. Thank you for taking the time to share your impressions.— Ann Road Animal Hospital Management
Fantastic experience: I Can't Say Enough About this Amazing Hospital! Everyone is Very Kind & Doctor Reed is Such an Angel! Thanks to Her & The Amazing Staff They Helped Save Our Baby Bella's Life! And We Are Forever Grateful! I Highly Recommend this Hospital!
Positive experience: The check-in/out process is a bit stressful. The sign-in sheet is often blocked by other people. The waiting room is small and fills up quickly, which makes fur babies extra anxious. The front door bangs loudly every time someone walks in or out, which is not only unpleasant for humans but extra stressful for the pets. It must drive the staff crazy.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been bringing my pets to Dr. Ballard at Ann Road Animal Hospital since 2018, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Dr. Ballard is calm, knowledgeable, and compassionate—everything you’d hope for in a veterinarian. Whether it’s a routine visit or an urgent situation, I always feel completely supported and confident in the care my pets receive. Trish is also a true gem—so kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. Dr. Ballard and Trish show dedication to both pets and their people that shines through in every interaction. I’m blessed to have found such an expert, trustworthy, and caring veterinarian and team. Thank you, Dr. Ballard and Trish, for everything you’ve done for me Knock Knock and Kilo!
Fantastic experience: Ann Road Animal Hospital is the best place to go for your fur babies care and needs. The staff is always so friendly. They are truly the best.
Fantastic experience: They have taken care of our furry family for years. They are wonderful, caring and compassionate people. I highly recommend Ann Road for quality veterinary care in North Las Vegas.
Negative experience: Terrible place. Liars. The "vet" is clueless and all they want is to upcharge. They harmed my doggo and wrote lies in her paperwork when I said we won't come back and want her records. Avoid this this place if you care for your pet.
Negative experience: Waste of my time, please don’t waste your time here. Go on Craig Animal Hospital they have everything there specialist, biopsy, surgeons on the spot and they actually care more about your animals. They care more about what they make, than to care about your animal. The vet obviously didn’t know what she was doing, she had to refer out.
Negative experience: Came in for an apt immediately was ignored, lady in the front couldn’t care less. Waited 30 mins and staff forgot we were here which the apt was at 7am and only two people in the waiting room. Once they realized they forgot us after we spoke up they didn’t even know what was happening. Unorganized, not attentive, and need more training on paying attention to their job.
Fantastic experience: We love Ann Animal Hospital and their hospitality and exceptional care. We have been bringing our puppy to them since she was 6 weeks for vaccines, she is now 12 weeks and every time we get the same experience and care. Their communication is A1 and we are in and out within 30 mins of our appointment time. We will continue care for our puppy with them as she grows.
Negative experience: Today I went to there and I was one of the first people to arrive, waiting to be checked in but 3 people arrived later and they checked them in immediately while I was waiting for over 20 minutes. Later after I checked in I was waiting for the doctor to arrive but I waited and waited and the doctor never came. I was there for almost 2 hours and they never even helped my sick dog. This is unacceptable and terrible service, I feel discriminated and ignored. I'm never coming back again.
Fantastic experience: We had to put our sweet baby down due to heart problems. Dr. Bogan and her staff made Neeko's transition pain-free and peaceful. Dr. Bogan was so compassionate and understanding during our difficult time. We'd like to thank Dr. Bogan and Ann Hospital staff for everything.
Negative experience: So sad I apologize for the raving review I had given before... I have been bringing my pets there for 5 years, I thought the convienence of this Animal hospital was exactly what I needed, convienence doesn't trump quality care. My pug has bad skin allergies, they said this shot was the best thing for him so we gave it a shot. The Dr. told me the shot doesn't work the same for all animals it can last 3 months or 3 days?? Hmm ok? We gave him the shot it worked for about 7 weeks so I called to get him another shot, no problem @ $130 a pop just for the shot why not??? It lasted a whole week this time so I called to ask them if they can give him the pill instead I don't want to pay $130 every month that robbery. They told me no you have to make another appointment?? Why? It's the same thing? I have a full taped conversation I am saving to share with the better business bureau about how yes they actually double charge people . Instead of any humane animal hospital that would be more concerned with my poor dogs itchy skin and suffering they couldn't wait to charge me twice for the same thing?? Same allergies same dog, but guess what the second time you pay you might just be an idiot. Creature Comforts is the best Animal Hospital it is more expensive but they actually care about your animals.Do not go here.
Fantastic experience: I have nothing but love and respect for the whole staff. You guys have been there from day one for both Albert and Lacey, my Cocker Spaniels, and my Pittie, Dolly. You have also been there for my old buddy, Puppy, throughout his time with us. I truly appreciate you all. I would post more pictures but I don’t have that kind of time. Haha
Fantastic experience: Took my dog in for an injection for her arthritis, also to have the growth on her left eye lid. Everyone there is very helpful and courteous. Dr. Bullard is the best.
Negative experience: We have been clients of this facility for many years, but unfortunately, the quality of service has noticeably declined. The office staff, with the exception of one dedicated and courteous older employee who consistently outperforms her younger colleagues, has become increasingly unprofessional and inefficient. Despite scheduling appointments for drop-off, the process is disorganized and unreliable, often resulting in extended wait times—sometimes lasting several hours. This level of service is unacceptable. As a result, we have made the decision to no longer entrust our pets to this facility. We do not recommend it to others.
Negative experience: Firstly, I don't know what classifies as an animal hospital, but that would make me tend to believe that they are there for 24 hour care. This is not the case. When they close in the evening, there are no vets on the premises, only technicians. If there's an emergency in the middle of the night, the vet 'on call' would get contacted, with no assurance that they'll come or when they will be there. This causes critical moments for care to not be given. Limited care from the techician, but not full on care immediately. I lost two of my precious dogs in a matter of just a couple of months, and coincidentally, even though I've seen many vets come and go from there, it was the same vet that handled both cases. They went in the morning with some breathing difficulties, and in less than 24 hours (way less than that) were dead. I had prepaid 50 - 100% on their care before they were even admitted. I was told that I would be given a partial refund since the fees I paid where astronomical for the small amount of care they got. I went rounds with them for over a week where they tried to tell me that the money that they owed me, was a portion that I still needed to pay. I had also paid for my dogs cremation, and was worried they wouldn't handle that until the bill was finally settled. I asked where my dog was... no idea. I had to call the crematorium myself, and I picked her remains up there. They normally drop the remains back to the vet to be picked up, but I forbid them to do so. I cant begin to tell anyone how incredibly devastating this has been. I won't return there ever again.
We are deeply sorry for your loss and truly understand how heartbreaking this experience has been for you. Losing two beloved companions in such a short time is unimaginable, and our hearts go out to you.
Our hospital strives to provide the highest standard of care, especially in delicate cases such as respiratory distress. While we are not a 24-hour facility, all hospitalized patients are monitored overnight by trained veterinary technicians, and our on-call veterinarians are available for consultation and intervention if an emergency arises. We acknowledge that this model may not meet the expectations some may associate with the term "animal hospital," and we are actively working to ensure that all clients fully understand our level of overnight care and what to expect.
Regarding the refund process, we apologize for the confusion and any additional stress it caused during an already emotional time. You were issued a refund, and we’re sorry that the communication surrounding that and your pet’s aftercare added to your distress. We take your feedback seriously and are reviewing our internal processes to ensure better clarity and compassion for future cases.
Please know that your pets were cared for with empathy and professionalism, and their loss was also felt by our team. We wish you comfort and healing during this difficult time.
Negative experience: I just have a terrible experience with that abuse for the sttaf I took four puppies for the first shot and they did the shots plus deworm WITHOUT ASK ME NOTHING. I have to pay 120 more dollars and when I asked they only said I M sorry I got back hone and when I review a previous surgery of my dog they charge for an hiisterectomy
Hello Rodrigo. Thank you for sharing your feedback again. We’re truly sorry to hear that you’re still feeling frustrated about your recent experience. As we discussed previously, your concerns were taken seriously, and we’ve already processed a refund to help make things right.
Please know that our goal is always to provide clear communication and compassionate care to both pets and their families. We appreciate your feedback and will continue using it to improve our service. If you have any further questions or need additional support, feel free to reach out to us directly.
Negative experience: When we have an appt we usually have to wait about 45min-1hr past our appt time. The front desk staff is rude and makes you feel like you are burdening them when you ask a question. The biggest issue we dealt with was when we took our dog to have a glucose test since she has diabetes. I dropped her off at 6am. At 2pm I called to check on her. I was told they needed to make a few more blood draws til she was done. I called back at 4pm since I DIDNT recieve a call. It went straight to voicemail and said to call back during normal business hours. I saw red and drove straight there. The doors were locked up so I banged on the door. Thank god the front staff didnt leave..yet. I asked where my dog was!! I was given a confused look. I said im not leaving until I have my dog. They finally let me in and they said oh there most have been a miscommunication. She didnt have any insulin, food or anything. They were gonna just let her stay there overnight. We will never go back there again.
Hello Shawn. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are truly sorry to hear about the issues you encountered and how they made you feel. What you described does not reflect the standard of care and communication we strive to provide, especially for patients with critical needs like diabetes.
We sincerely apologize for the wait times, the communication breakdown regarding your dog’s glucose test, and the way you felt you were treated by our front desk team. This is deeply concerning, and we take your feedback seriously. We are actively reviewing what happened during your visit to ensure that no other pet or pet parent goes through a similar experience.
Negative experience: I was scheduled for a 6:10 am surgery for my pup. They called and confirmed day before. I was there at 6 a.m. no one ever showed up to open the door. No call and no answer when I called. I have not had issues in the past with them. However, they did not even follow up with me to apologize or reschedule. This is minimal, curtesy, customer service I would expect.
Hello Jeannette. Our hospital opens at 6am Monday-Saturday to serve our community. Your review is concerning. Please reach out to a manager so that we can get more information. You and your pet are important to us and we always strive to provide the best customer service!
Negative experience: Where to start... First thing everyone should know before you bring your pet here, their time estimations are WAY off. We were told 3 hours and then we could pick our dog up. We showed up and they told us 2 more hours. Fine, that's great. 2 hours goes by we call they say am hour. So then we drive here to pick up our dog. We're sitting in the lobby and receive a phone call from the vet and they leave a message while we're sitting in the lobby and tell us our dog won't be ready till 630. They called us from the back while we were sitting in the lobby. The communication between the people in back to the people who deal with the public is ridiculously inept. The "doctors" and "nurses" hide in the back and won't come up front to answer questions or give updates. The ladies up front are doing their best but its obvious no one trained them. That's why there is extremely high turn over at this place. If you've ever been in here you know what I mean. It's chaos. We dropped our dog off at 8am, its now 7pm and we don't have our dog. And still no one has given us a correct update. If they would only communicate honestly with customers, they would avoid all these negative reviews, misunderstandings and they would keep customers. If this is the way they run the admin side of the business, I shutter to think how they treat the animals. If anything is wrong with my dog after this, I'm not sure what we'll do. Update: we were told our dog needed 5 teeth pulled and it was going to cost $1200. Since we live our dog we went ahead and approved the surgery. They kept telling us he was fine and still waking up but they wouldn't let us see him. Until we paid the$1200. Once we paid, they finally brought out our dog. He looked awful. His mouth was bloody like they didn't clean him up. And today, the next day, he's not doing good. Still excessive bleeding and he's not himself. We can't give him the CHEWABLE meds they gave us because he had 5 TEETH PULLED. How does that make sense? He won't eat, won't drink. They broke our dog.
Hello Nate. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are genuinely sorry to hear about the frustration, delays, and concerns you’ve described. Your pet’s well-being and your peace of mind are incredibly important to us, and it’s clear we fell short in meeting your expectations.
We sincerely apologize for the breakdown in communication and the extended wait time during your visit. Our goal is always to provide timely, transparent updates, and we regret that this did not happen in your case. We are actively reviewing our internal processes to address gaps between our medical and client care teams so that we can better support pet parents like you in the future.
Regarding your pet’s dental procedure, it is never our intention to withhold updates or limit access, especially during such a sensitive time. Patients recovering from anesthesia are closely monitored, and we aim to return them to their families as soon as it is safe. We’re sorry if our communication around this made it feel otherwise.
We also understand your concern about the medications provided. We aim to tailor treatment plans to each pet's recovery, and if there’s ever an issue, like trouble administering medications, we want to help find a solution. Please don’t hesitate to call us so we can reassess and adjust your pet’s care plan accordingly.
We would be grateful for the opportunity to speak with you directly to make things right and ensure your dog is on the road to recovery. Please reach out to our management team
Negative experience: Yep hours and waiting so I had turned my phone notifications off and watch watching videos. My GF called the vet and asked if I was still here. Had to explain that to her. If any other vet was better I would go there. Two and a half hours spent here today
Hello Raymon. We’re really sorry to hear about the long wait and the inconvenience it caused you. That’s not the experience we aim to provide, and we completely understand how frustrating it must have been, especially with no clear updates while you waited. We're currently working on improving our communication and scheduling so that no client feels left in the dark. Your time matters, and we appreciate you sticking with us. If you'd be open to sharing more details, we’d love the chance to follow up directly and make this right.
Positive experience: They were efficient and quick but I like to be close to my dog and watch the vet or tech cut the nails or examine them. I was not allowed that. So that is not all she’s not walking right so something happened to her Mia my dog yesterday. If I knew someone purposely hurt my dog I would wish bad things to happen to them..well the price was right but not going back there.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you found our service efficient and affordable. However, we’re truly sorry that your experience didn’t meet your expectations. We understand how important it is to be close to your pet during their care, and we appreciate your concerns. Your pet’s well-being is our top priority, and we take every precaution to ensure they are treated with kindness and professionalism. If you’d like to discuss your experience further, we’d love the opportunity to address your concerns. Please feel free to reach out to us directly.
Fantastic experience: The staff addressed my concerns right away. They were very cordial and nice. I always have great service at this facility!
Hello Tracy! Thank you for your kind review! We hope to see you again soon!
Negative experience: I'm writing this review for my cousin Linda who is handicapped and can't hear clearly. She was given a verbal estimate for teeth cleaning for $700-$800 which is double the normal rate. I told her many times Not to go there but she has no transportation. She ended up paying close to $1800 !! She has no recourse against them and still doesn't understand why so many teeth were extracted costing her over $1000 more. I've read reviews on Nextdoor app and it's not good. Taking advantage of seniors should be a crime.
Hello John. Thank you for sharing your concerns. We truly value all feedback and take situations like this seriously. Our goal is always to provide the best care possible while being transparent about procedures and costs. We deeply regret any confusion regarding the treatment plan and pricing. We encourage clients to ask questions and seek clarification to ensure they fully understand their pet’s care. If Linda has any concerns or would like further explanation about the charges, we’d be more than happy to go over everything with her. Please feel free to reach out—we’re here to help!
Fantastic experience: We've been bringing our dogs to Ann Road for many years. We trust the doctors to always take excellent care of our fur babies. Also, it's great that they're open on Sundays!
Hello Tori! Thanks for your kind review! We hope to see you again soon!
Negative experience: I had a disappointing experience at Ann Road Animal Hospital. The front desk staff was friendly, but the rest of the visit was unacceptable. Despite my 9:40 AM appointment, I wasn’t brought into an exam room until 10:35 and didn’t see the vet until 11:57. The staff didn’t listen—I had to repeat my concerns four times. Worse, the vet showed no concern when I mentioned my cat hadn’t gone to the bathroom for 18 hours and didn’t address any of my concerns during the exam. Rather than focusing on care, they seemed more interested in upselling services. Many positive reviews also seem skewed due to their offer of a free nail trim and wash for a review. If you want a vet who values your pet’s well-being and your time, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
Hello Tim. Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and we sincerely apologize that your visit did not meet your expectations. We understand how frustrating long wait times can be and how important it is to feel heard when it comes to your pet’s care. Your concerns are important to us, and we take them seriously. Our goal is always to provide compassionate, high-quality care while being as efficient as possible. We’d love the opportunity to discuss your visit further and address any concerns you may have. Please don’t hesitate to reach out—we truly value your input and the trust you place in us.
Fantastic experience: I've been going to ann road animal hospital since the day they opened. All of my dogs, maggie, rocky, Larry, BoBo, Winston and Lucky who is a cocker and still with us. Everyone of our kids were taken care of by Dr. Bullard. Ann Road animal hospital has a great staff and they love those animals like they're there own. And a shout out to Sean, who takes care of our Lucky when it comes to his grooming . And not kidding Lucky loves Sean. And when it's time to adopt again, they'll be going to Dr Bullard and staff.
Thanks so much Kathalin! Your review means so much to us! We look forward to seeing you soon!
Negative experience: Had an appointment at 5:00, arrived got signed in at 4:45, it’s currently 6:41 and I’m currently still waiting to be seen in the exam room, which reeks of dog urine. Do NOT come here. There is no reason this should be happening. Will not be ever coming back.
Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the long wait time and the condition of the exam room during your visit. We understand how frustrating this must have been, and this is not the experience we want for our clients and their pets. Your time and comfort are important to us, and we will address these concerns to ensure a better experience in the future. If you’d like to discuss your visit further, please reach out—we truly appreciate your input and the opportunity to improve.
Fantastic experience: Sadie had a spot on her back which was concerning. ARAH took great care of her. Customer service is always outstanding!
Thank you so much Linda! We hope Sadie is doing well!
Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been going to Ann Road Animal hospital since 2017. We took our first Chihuahua there and we had excellent care by Dr. John Bullard and everyone there is so nice and friendly very professional and they really helped her now we have another Chihuahua. they are very compassionate, kind, professional And you can tell when you walk in the door. They really genuinely care about you and your pets, I would not go anywhere else and I would only recommend “Ann Road Animal hospital“ they’re all wonderful. We always go to Dr. John Bullard who we believe he is exceptional, very caring and takes his time and answers all your questions. I give them 5️⃣ stars ⭐️
Fantastic experience: We love taking our dog here. The doctor, all the technicians, and even the desk staff have all been so nice on our visits. Our dog had a horrible bilateral ear infection that needed aggressive treatment, and we were properly instructed how to administer the meds to him at home, along with cleanings. After his re-check his he was good to go! Thank you all. He feels better which helps us feel better!
Fantastic experience: Their staff is the best, they do show they genuinely care about our furry friends, they are attentive and professional, Naomi has always been fantastic throughout the entire process, Thank you for all you do, you all are Angels!!!! I highly recommend this place.
Negative experience: Horrible experience. I cannot explain how upset I am. We’ve always taken our dogs here and have never had a issue. I called and got quoted $100 for one of my dogs and $164 for my two smaller dogs in total. I came to pick them up and they charged me $134 and $235 for my other two dogs. I was not told that I would be charged for cutting their nails. When I picked my dogs up they looked the same. Their nails are still long. They smell THE SAME. For the price I paid the results are UNACCEPTABLE.
Hello, thank you for taking the time to write this review. This is not the experience we want anyone to have and not typical of how we conduct ourselves. I can not locate an account in your name and I would very much like to speak with you, if you are interested. I understand your frustration. My name is Tara and I am in the clinic Fridays-Mondays, But, you can leave me a message anytime and I will get back to you as soon as I return. Thank you and I hope to speak with you soon.
Positive experience: I brought my 4 pound senior chihuahua here because her cervix was falling out. She was still playing, eating and drinking. Plus my other senior chihuahua had the same surgery her a few years back. That time the vet was so helpful and did everything for under 1k. This time the I had a different vet and she had no type of empathy or compassion. She told me to put her down if not it will be 6k and she probably wouldn’t make it. I couldn’t afford that and I almost put her down. I went to a different vet that said it could be done and took really good care of my baby for less then 600. In my opinion that Vet doesn’t like animals at all and she find a new profession
Fantastic experience: I trust and believe in Doctor Bullard and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Thank you for all that you do for me and my animals. I’ve with Doctor Bullard for at least 13 years.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear that you had such a positive experience at Ann Road Animal Hospital. We're delighted that you and your pet had a great experience with us!
Fantastic experience: We brought our dog here for an emergency and the way she was handled was beyond any of my expectations. It was an hour before closing and they didn't rush us or the service. They took care of our baby and of us. They were also beyond amazing when we had to put her down. They gave us all of the time we needed and didn't rush us thru our goodbyes.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a positive review. We're so glad that we were able to provide your dog with the compassionate care she needed during such a difficult time. We strive to make sure that all of our patients and their families feel supported and comfortable, and it's wonderful to hear that we were successful in doing so for you. Thank you for trusting us with your beloved pet.
Negative experience: I called AnnRoadAnimalHospital to see how much it’ll cost just for overall shave. They told me $52 when they called me and told me my dog was ready. They told me that they had given my dog a Bertella vaccine and It’ll be $17. I said why did they give me my dog a a vaccine shot when I did not request that. They gave my dog a vaccine shot without asking my permission. They then said I don’t have to pay for the vaccine because I did not give permission to give it to my dog. When I went to pick my dog up, the price for the bass and shave was $91. I asked why is it a different price than when I called on the phone all the front desk lady said was she don’t know. When I got home and examined my dog, they cut my dog in several places. I will not be bringing my animals back to this animal hospital.
Oh no this does not sound right. I am unable to locate an account with the information provided. If you can provide me with more information, I will look into this immediately. This is never the experience we want anyone to have. My name is Tara, you can reach out to me anytime.
Fantastic experience: They did such a great job on one of my cat’s last yr I brought both kitties back for annual check ups. I the 30 min drive. Quality is worth it!
Fantastic experience: I really like this veterinary clinic. I took my dog for a nail trim and anal glands . We were in and out in 20 minutes. No hidden charges. $32 for both services.
Negative experience: UPDATE: Imagine my surprise when I learned that prior to me bringing Winnie in, she had been given her Parvo shot a few months earlier!! Parvo...yeah right! ISSUE: I brought Winnie in for being lethargic and vomiting. Quickly after the exam, within a minute or so, I was told she had Parvo. Chose the at-home treatment ($600) vs. the hospitalization ($3700) after being told how deadly it could be. By that afternoon, after just one dose of meds, Winnie was fine, wagging her tail, eating, drinking etc. I question, given what I have read about Parvo, if we were not given a wrong diagnosis. Today, three days later, Winnie is back to normal. I feel duped because of the hundreds I paid for the at-home treatment. None of our other dogs have ANY symptoms. Our family have been customers since 2008, however I will not be bringing my dogs back there again. Very unhappy!
Fantastic experience: They were wonderful when our dog crossed the rainbow bridge. A couple of days later I had to bring our other dog in and the staff was just as great. She is feeling much better !
Fantastic experience: We love our two Maltese pups and have great confidence in how Ann Road Animal Hospital staff treat these furbabies.
Positive experience: I brought in our 7 week old three-legged kitten for a recheck to make sure ear mites were gone. Later I realized they cut my kittens claws super short without ever asking me if they could cut them at all. This tiny baby needed those claws for balance as he learns to walk on three legs. He needs them to climb on the bed. He needs them for balance to walk over soft lumpy pillows and blankets. I wouldn't cut any cat's nails without asking the owner first let alone a one pound three-legged kitten! They also don't honor your appointment time, so be ready for a long wait. Brought another cat in this week for a simple rabies vaccine. I don't like that they don't let you stay with your pet for a simple vaccine. If you're trying to do what's best for the animal then having the comfort of their owner in the room with them would be best.
Negative experience: What’s up with Ann Road Animal Hospital tonight. They girls in front were ganging up on my wife because she had a question about the bill which was only six dollars and change more than it actually showed but they were so impatient because it was closing time. I’m pretty sure we’ll be back to talk to the manager about this because they did not have any patience. I know my wife sometimes can get a little testy, but their job is to make the customer feel welcome and explain clearly if there are any discrepancies regarding the bill. It’s December 20 at closing time so the manager can figure out which girls were working at the front counter. One of them was OK, the one that helped us in the room; she was patient but the other two girls had attitudes and really sucked. We always bring our dogs there. There’s always somebody different and I can see why, I even said merry Christmas to one of the girls when I left, and all she could say was Uh Uh! They need to curb their attitudes, I’m a very patient and forgiving man, but there are other people out there that aren’t so I would check theirselves. I know it’s Friday at 7 PM girls, and I’m pretty sure you have plans for the evening, But don’t take it out on customers.
Negative experience: If I could give zero stars for my most recent experience, I would! Let me preface this by saying every single vet that my dog has seen at this facility has been absolutely outstanding and incredible, which is the only reason why I will continue to bring my dog to Ann Road Animal Hospital. The front desk staff are nice and lovely young people, but that does not take away how extremely unprofessional, inconsistent, and plainly under trained they are, especially the manager Deidra. There was a very small issue that turned into a big one. One of their front desk employees was working with me to provide me a previously quoted price on a service. She initially told me the lower price could not be honored unless they could find it in the system…I said OK great please let me know if you are able to find it, we disconnected the call. She called back about 15 to 20 minutes later with great news that they were able to find the transaction and honor the lower price for my service! Awesome! Or so I thought… I called back today with a couple more additional questions about my appointment on Saturday, just for a different person to tell me they could not honor a price that I had already been quoted. As pet owners, we can all understand how expenses can add up, but we will always pay them out of the love for our dogs, so the dollar amount is not the issue here, the principal is! A good manager would have explained to me how the employee made a mistake, and how they are new, however, for this time they will honor the pricing for me because it was a mistake on their end! But the service I received was opposite of that! If you are deciding to bring your dogs here, please understand that you will get incredible care from the vet techs, but everything else will be mid and often frustrating.
Sorry to hear about your frustrating experience with our staff. We messed up on the quoted price, and I apologize for the inconvenience.
I've made sure that all staff are trained on our pricing and honoring quotes. We're committed to great pet care and excellent customer service. We'll improve where we fell short.
Thanks for your feedback and loyalty to Ann Road Animal Hospital.
Fantastic experience: My dog had a foxtail stuck in her foot so I had to take her into a vet. This was during covid. I went to a different place and was told it would be $200 just to walk thru the door. I went to ann road vets and they took my dog and told us to go home. They called and said they got it out without surgery and it cost less then the $200 the other place tried to charge me. I've had dogs that had foxtails in there get and it was already surgery. They could of lied to me and charged me more money. I feel they are trustworthy, honest and fair.
Fantastic experience: I have recommended them to several of my friends. I love the staff for the cats they take off my fur baby. She gets so anxious when they're are other animals around and they are always very patient with her and take their time to be sure her service is completed perfectly!!
Negative experience: I boarded my dog with them for the first time this month… being new to the area, i thought i would give them a try. I’m sure they did their best to take care of her, but I regret using them for boarding. My guess is that she was overly excited about other dogs and was hurting herself on the kennel door. I did appreciate that the vet texted me saying she’s rubbing her nose.. but I don’t think her hair will grow back to the way it was before. if your dog has separation anxiety, or gets excited about other dogs, idk if this would be the place for them because of how their boarding is… (cages instead of glass rooms). I can’t speak on their other services since I have not used them for anything else before. I posted a pic of before we dropped her off and when we took her home.
Fantastic experience: I brought my dog Tutu to the hospital after a trauma to the neck. Right away, I was assisted by one the team members (I don't remember his name, he was a very kind gentleman) and he checked out Tutu's heart-rate and breathing. The doctor and the assistant were very kind as well. I wanted to thank the whole team from 11/15/2024 (around 6/7 PM) for their great work and dedication to our furry family members. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a vet home for their pets.
Negative experience: Ann Road Animal Hospital is an incompetent institution that I do not recommend. My friend recently suffered the tragic loss of her beloved pet, only to have the hospital lose the ashes. The staff exhibited a shocking lack of empathy and professionalism, making an already painful situation much worse. Despite the eventual monetary refund provided after considerable effort, the ashes were never returned, demonstrating a complete disregard for the grieving process and the bond between a person and their pet. Interacting with such a callous organization is deeply distressing, and I am appalled by the insensitivity displayed towards my friend during her time of mourning. I would not recommend this establishment to even my worst enemy.

Negative experience: I am giving them a 1 star because I can't give them a zero. My rating is based on the interaction I had with checking out and paying. I paid for services and medicine for my cat. I was told they would bring the medication out once filled. Everything was going fine. Medication was brought and I was told it would be $3 bucks more which was not a problem. The problem occurred when I was paying again for medication I was told now it was $7 bucks more. Dr. Chandra Hanna came out apologize which i was thankful she apologized but some other employee came out giving me dirty looks because I was speaking my piece about the two different prices on medication. That employee said it was just a miscommunication. I told her when dealing with money you should not have a miscommunication. I also told her she should learn better customer service like the doctor did with apologizing. Still getting dirty looks from this employee. I also told her that if she is having a bad day she should have not come. She walks and I told that was the best thing she did. As much as the service from the doctor, her assistant, and the employee cashing me out was excellent and professional it only takes one bad employee to ruin the experience. Advice to AnnRoad Animal hospital you should get that employee some training on customer service or let her go.

Negative experience: I do believe there’s a couple good veterinarians here but unfortunately I had to stop coming after nearly two years because the front desk staff is so chaotic. You walk in to usually unpleasant personalities and if they didn’t accidentally delete your appointment entirely, it’s probably put in for something different than you requested. Then you have to wait 20-40 minutes past your scheduled time even if it’s just for vaccinations. The check in system is a mess and I understand veterinary hospitals are high stress jobs, but you’re still the face of the company and being the first point of contact at a business and not being friendly or professional isn’t great.

Fantastic experience: We took our dog here back in 2020 when she past away and have recently begun taking our new puppies here in 2024. This location has people who are compassionate and caring and treat our pets like their own. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I love Ann Road Animal Hospital because of the treatment they give my animals. The previous hospital I used to take my pets to was only worried about overcharging us and we never paid less than $500 even if it was something as small as shots we would still end up paying over $250. At Ann Road Animal Hospital they treat my babies with care, they pay attention to their health, and their prices are very reasonable. I feel confident with the treatment these doctors give my babies because it is the same level of treatment I received from my physician. I love Adam Road Animal Hospital because they always make sure to give my pets the best care ever. The entire staff is carrying and attentive to my babies every time I needed to take them there. I strongly recommend this hospital and I always make sure to tell all my friends this is the place to take their fur babies.

Fantastic experience: My baby Jazz is getting old and I was worried about her health. After an appointment with the doctor she is doing better and I’m not stressed out. The doctor was extremely good at getting to the root of the problems Jazz was having. Thanks to the doctor she actually seems more alert and not sleeping all day. We both are sleeping better at night, which is great! No one can stop a dog from aging but, it’s nice to have a doctor help make it more comfortable. Ann Hospital has been great and Jazz has had very positive experiences on all her visits.

Negative experience: HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I got my pet euthanized here and paid for the memorial package to get the ashes and a paw print. They sent the wrong pet to get cremated asked if I wanted to keep that pets ashes instead. they were extremely rude and unhelpful when trying to locate my pet. My pet was never found. I had to fight and speak to multiple managers just to get a refund. They turned the death of my pet into an even more horrific experience. I will never come here again and l would NOT recommend this establishment to anyone else
