Negative experience: The people that work there are great. However the wait time is way too long i took my dog in for shots only and waited almost 2 hrs just for them to take her back there and give her shots and that took a little more time than expected. Im been to several animal doctors being that my family loves our furry friends. Also there prices for shots are expensive. With the experience i had i decided to not go there anymore. I did give them a couple chances thinking they may have had a busy/bad day but still the same result.

Fantastic experience: I unfortunately met this lovely team at the night of their shift with my dying baby.. I was a hot mess and they were very sweet and patience and very informational. They helped me pick out her urn to return to me and even sent a card with more paw prints and everyone in that office signed that card with a sweet note. Very thoughtful.

Fantastic experience: I took my little goldendoodle for a bath and haircut. My little dog came back so happy. I think they did a good job with my baby girl. The best of all was a last minute appointment.

Fantastic experience: I’ve only ever had two favorite vets and Dr. Wachbrit is one of them. She’s very sweet and very honest. I can tell she really cares about all the animals she meets. Plus the staff here are always incredibly kind and helpful. I’ve taken a few of my pets here and everyone has always treated them with so much love and affection. This is why I keep recommending them to all my friends and family. - My last visit was for my rabbit Dudley who wasn’t feeling well. Unfortunately, a few days ago his health declined again overnight and he passed away suddenly. Thank you guys for doing all that you could for him ♥️

Fantastic experience: We have had an amazing experience with Animal Kindness over the last year! All three of our dogs are patients here, and we’ve trusted them for everything from puppy vaccinations to surgeries and even a complicated thyroid diagnosis. I’ve met with every doctor, and they all have incredible bedside manner, take the time to answer any questions I have, and genuinely care. All of the supporting staff and vet technicians are equally amazing. We are truly grateful for this incredible team!

Fantastic experience: After getting gouged by 3, or 4 different veterinarians in town, we were losing hope that there were still veterinarians out there who put caring for your animal/s at the top of the priority list over making money. We were pleasantly surprised when Animal Kindness treated our dogs issues that day, without suggesting unnecessary lab work, or otherwise padding the bill. We actually really appreciated it when they skipped the sales routine that we’ve experienced at every other veterinarian. They gained a loyal client when they did that. I’m not going to change the rating of this review, but I take back the claim that this veterinarian doesn’t participate in sales techniques. When went in a second time, (my gf did) and there was a shameless sales attempt that enraged my gf. Whatever. It’s every veterinarian.

Negative experience: Went here years ago and they took care of my old pup alright. Took my cat in and didn't have a good experience. I wrongly believed service would be great given the previous experience years ago and the upcharge here. I wasn't given pertinent information on important things and staff wasn't knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff is so warm and welcoming , my guy felt right at home We are so happy to have found our new vet!

Fantastic experience: I want to say thank you to Dr. Munguia and the rest of the staff. I had the difficult decision to put my baby down to end her suffering on Christmas Eve. It was my first time here. They took the time and effort to lay out some options of what could be done. I made the tough decision. They showed compassion and took extra care of my little girl, I’m forever grateful. I will be taking my other fur child here from now on.

Fantastic experience: Really nice people they took action pretty fast. My friend went to this other place and they charged her 265 and her dog had the same thing as mine and at this place they charged me 170$ really good price. And they said there was no more spots but they still took my dog in 10/10. Now he’s much better

Positive experience: I brought my lizard, dog, and cat here. First, after my lizard died, they never noticed or cared to ask about how my lizard was doing when he never showed back up. I was willing to get past that, I know they have a lot of patients. What I can’t get past, is how they handled the situation with my cat. I had her scheduled for an ultrasound and echocardiogram with a drop off time at 7:30 AM. I informed them at drop off time that it looked like she had gotten ringworm from another cat. The specialist wasn’t scheduled to arrive until 9 AM. Mind you, they never provided me with the name or any information regarding the mobile ultrasound clinic, so there’s no way I could’ve contacted them. I get a call at 10 AM that the ultrasound clinic would not provide services due to the possible ringworm. I was still charged an $85 transportation fee that the mobile ultrasound clinic charged them for the cancellation. This is insane to me for two reasons, number one, I informed the vet at 7:30 AM about the possible ringworm and they chose not to call the ultrasound clinic. Number two, I’ve worked in human hospitals, you wipe down equipment with a saniwipe In between patients. There is no cross-contamination risk if you sanitize your equipment properly. They said the policy sounded crazy to them too, but they were still choosing to have me pay when they did not know the policies of their own partner doctor. It is unethical to charge your patients A fee based upon a policy of your own partner doctor that you did not even know about when you are the only person capable of contacting them ahead of time. I let them know that I found this to be unethical and if they chose to charge me the $85 fee (when I’m already going to have to pay $1300 for this test at another time), I would be finding another vet. They were not understanding of why this is their own mistake, so I’m changing vets. I would say you get what you pay for, except come to find out after calling around to other vets, this veterinary office is actually very expensive. Update: owner called from home on their day off to apologize and offer refund. I appreciate your efforts to make it right.

I drive 40 minutes just to go to this clinic because it can be so difficult to find a vet who is affordable AND the entire staff truly demonstrates kindness, compassion, and takes their time to make sure all of your questions are answered and give your pet the best possible care. I am especially thankful for Dr McAllister as he shows a sincere compassion and concern for my cats and is very knowledgeable and experienced. I can't thank you all enough for the care you provide. Our fur babies deserve the best and I trust this clinic and the staff with their expertise.

Fantastic experience: They are an excellent animal hospital that is appointment only but the staff is great with your pets and they inform you very well. My little Shih Tzu was terrified to be there but the staff was patient and caring throughout the whole process. Definitely recommend this place for any and all fur babies!

Fantastic experience: So, I was really shocked at dog grooming prices as I’m somewhat of a new pet owner. I wasn’t in a rush to incur this expense ( for my dog) as going to a hairdresser is certainly not in my budget Well, let me Tell You …. I’m in a rush now ! The job that Angel did on my little Cookie, is just out of this world fantastic. Precise, detailed, absolute perfection. This lady is Everything you would expect from a dog groomer & 10 times more. My big boy Solo has covered them in kisses and slobber and they’ve never complained! Today we said goodbye to my sweet baby boy and It felt like we were all one big family. Negative experience: After a $457 bill for a cats blood and urine analysis, they wanted to charge $76 for an 8 pound bag of kidney diet, went to petsmart it was $36, but you needed a prescription. I go back to get one and they charge me $6.99 for writing it. I'll never go there again

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to take this time to share my appreciation for this practice. My babies are new clients to Animal Kindness and I’m so happy with my decision. My girls Toephoo (cat) and Luna (doberman mix) got the pleasure of meeting Dr. Crystal Munguia for their wellness exams and they both loved her dearly. My Luna then had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Tracy Wachbrit for her spay surgery last Friday and she did so well. I was nervous about getting Luna spayed because she is an older dog but her surgical wounds look amazing and Luna is practically back to normal. I then had a scare this past week with Toephoo and Dr. Wachbrit helped me figure out what was wrong with my baby and helped reassure me along the way. My cat is back to feeling like her normal self! I’m so happy I can trust this practice with my babies. Also the front staff and vet techs have all been nothing but amazing. I appreciate the patience and your kindness. Can’t wait to bring in my boys because I know they’ll love it as much as my girls did!

There was some initial miscommunication during the exam, as those had dropped her off relayed concerns that were not entirely accurate. However, after a follow-up phone call with the doctor, the correct issues were clarified, and we’re now working together on a treatment plan. I truly appreciate the team’s attention to detail—especially near closing time—and the effort taken to ensure I received the necessary information and support. Fantastic experience: I've been to several vets since I moved to Las Vegas 10 years ago. There was always something negative about each of them, sometimes it was expensive, sometimes it was their bedside manner, and sometimes it was the vets leaving the practice constantly. I finally found the best. Animal kindness has the best vets and the best prices. I have liked each vet my pets have seen there. They are great at following up with phone calls. They will even call you from their homes if they need to. They care about their clients more than any other vet I've encountered. Their prices are reasonable too. I know that when I make an appt, it really doesn't matter which vet I see because I know that we will be treated with respect and with care.

Fantastic experience: My dog "Trip" passed away under anesthesia while having surgery. The entire staff did everything they could to save him and mourned his death as much as my family. Prior to surgery the entire staff went out of their way to help me come up with the funds for his surgery. They went above and beyond for me and I won't hesitate to use them again and recommend them to everyone. Thank u so much for actually caring about my pet and myself. I am a difficult person and they did a great job in every way!

Fantastic experience: They are so nice and helpful. They are very obviously motivated by the wellness of animals and have never tried to upcharge me or rip me off. They are great about communication and are super responsive to both calls and texts. By far the best vet I have ever had and can’t recommend them enough.

Negative experience: My dog had a bad cough and I asked the vet to take x-rays when he came back in the room. All he could say was he swollen in there after taking three views. Those x-rays were $297. When I asked him if he sent the x-rays to get a radiology report, he said that would cost another $240. I went to another vet to see if they could read the x-rays and they said they send all their x-rays out to a Radiologist. They asked me where the chest view was and it turned out that animal kindness didn’t even take a chest view and my complaint was a cough! I don’t trust this vet and I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone.

Fantastic experience: The doctors At animal kindness have been treating our family Tabby for approximately the last two years different conditions associated with elderly cats, her diagnoses and care was confident respectful and compassionate, Our little angel that was the kitty‘s name was euthanized about two months ago. She was 19 years, four months. Her passing, Although quite sad for us, Was peaceful and painless. I cannot imagine others Caring for her the same way all of the animal kindness staff Always did.

Fantastic experience: UPDATE My fur baby passed away en route to their hospital. The staff could not have been more helpful and supportive. We had his remains cremated through a provider they work with. The package included the box we chose in a velvet bag. a framed ink paw print, a ceramic paw print, a lovely card with a heart cut out that had a tuft of fur framed by the cut out, and a certificate. All packaged in a gift bag. Thank you to the staff for assisting my family during that difficult time. The staff is always helpful and friendly. They suggest expensive procedures without pressure, but only of necessity not for profit. We've taken our smallest dog in for secondary treatment after emergency 2 large dogs attacked her. They've been absolutely the best with her!

Fantastic experience: My dog Dash had an emergency on Monday, June 23. He collapsed at home. My wife & I rushed him to the Animal Kindness Vet Hospital. Sadly, after 2 long days, we had to have him put down. A pet owner's worst day. So, why the 5 star review? One word: Compassion. Dash couldn't be saved, but the staff couldn't have been more compassionate. EVERYONE there was helpful, sympathetic, and patient. They stayed with us & Dash well past their closing time. They genuinely seemed to feel the same pain we were dealing with. We will have a dog again, and they will be our new dog's health provider. Truly outstanding people!

Fantastic experience: I have patronized this practice for 25 years. I was concerned that the change in ownership would mean changes in service. I am happy to say that service and care is equal to or above with new Doctors and staff. I feel issues and options are explained clearly and thoroughly. On a personal issue: I have mobility issues and often use a walker. The Animal Kindness Staff have accommodated me by coming to my car to carry in my dog allowing me to more safely walk to the building. They have also brought paid prescriptions to my car to save me the walk inside. I feel they care for pets and the pets’ people. Nancy Muniz & Zoey ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Edit: unfortunately I can no longer fully endorse this practice. It seems to have become more of a business focused on turning a profit. Their fees are significantly higher than other area practices. They have their phone number listed on their door for emergencies. However they do not accept emergency cases ; they refer them to another emergency vet, and It seems that receptionists are allowed to “make the call” as to which patients can be scheduled and when.

Fantastic experience: It was amazing.. my 2 months old baby girl got parvo.. she was really sick the day a friend recommended me to visit Animal Kindness… I went there out of hope.. but they saved my baby… only God knows how grateful I’m with all the staff from the secretary until the doctor.. they made a great job with my baby.

Negative experience: My dog was bit by a neighborhood dog, so I took him in to get some stitches and cleaned up. It was a fairly large puncture wound that went through the top and lower half of his skin. I was thinking at first it would be just a few stiches after cleaning but it turned into about a 6 inch incision, which they said was from removing some damaged tissue, I believe. That's fine, I'm not a doctor, I don't know. But the part that was horrible to me was how poorly stitched the surgical site was. It literally was coming undone within minutes but they were already closed for the evening. All night those stitches were barely hanging on and pulling apart, blood and puss just oozing out quite a bit. The next morning I show up to get it actually stitched together, at first they tried to charge me for another 'surgery' due to anesthesia again but I was furious. I come back later and instead of additional stitches (maybe because they might have to pay for more anesthesia for that I don't know) they just numbed him up and added staples. Fine, it worked to keep it together and my dog didn't seem too bothered or in too much pain. Few weeks later, I come back to have the stitches removed. I didn't notice right away, thinking it may have been some scabbing but they didn't even remove all the stitches. Overall, I wouldn't do surgeries there. They may be ok for regular care but the surgeon is sloppy and not thorough.

Fantastic experience: Thank you, for all the help and making my cat Kobe feel better.❤️‍ he had an infection spread from his ear to his face and was in much pain. The vets and front desk were very kind and helpful, took care of Kobe and gave him vaccinations and within 1 week was feeling and moving much better. Thank you all once again. Happy holidays.

Fantastic experience: I was woken up by a kitten yesterday in my back yard. Her little face was so caked with crust I wasn't sure she could breath thru her nose. I looked for other kittens or the mother but found nothing so I picked her up. Brought her in and began trying to remove the crusting from her face. She is missing her left hind foot as well and when I saw that I knew this was more than just 'call animal control.' I have been using Animal Kindness for some time now and they always make me feel like my pets are their family too. The feral kitten, Siren, has an upper respiratory infection and may encounter some vision issues in the future. She is also missing her left hind foot. She was very underweight, at .56 lbs it was easy to feel her hips. Animal kindness did something amazing for her, beyond just cleaning her eyes and meds, they helped me feed her. She was just tired yesterday and barely ate so they gave me Hill's Urgent Care wet food. She has had 3 meals today of the wet food and kmr. I should be able to provide a fecal sample tomorrow for testing. Thank you guys! She is trying to thrive because of your help.

Fantastic experience: When I lost my pet Rusty, the staff was extremely supportive and went out of their way to make him feel loved and valued and I was so moved by the kindness that they showed to us . So now my other dog Princess has gone there and they did an awesome job with her . I will be bringing her back if the need arises, I have recommended Animal Kindness to others as well I told them how compassionate the staff is , and I will continue to recommend them to all my family and friends!

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my animals to Animal Kindness for just shy of 22 years. The staff and doctors have always shown great care and compassion to all of our pets Sometimes the visits were very sad, when we had to put a beloved pet down, but the staff helped us get through those terrible times. The enucleation surgery went smoothly, and I was amazed at how well my pug recovered. Fantastic experience: My chihuahua was recently serviced for a neuter and dental cleaning. My pup and I were both a nervous wreck going in. The entire experience was better than either of us could have asked for. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and they genuinely care about your pet and get to know you both. Animal Kindess will be my Winston’s go-to veterinarian. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: My pup (pit mix) of 11 mo loves to chew on things and he happened to sneak something in his mouth that got stuck inside his tummy and caused bowl instruction making him throw up, unable to keep food/water down, unable to pass anything. He had low energy, a little lethargic, and so tired (not like himself). We took him 3 different emergency vets the night prior to bringing him to Animal Kindess Veterinary. The 3rd emergency vet was awesome. I usually go to VCA Warm Springs for my two other dogs but they were having technical difficulties. And after reviewing and reviewing I found Animal Kindess Vet Hospital and my experience has been the best here! They are attentive, caring and they listened to me sob about my dog and offered as much support as they could. They had such empathy for both my dog and I. They got me in twice in one day, the 2nd time I felt like my dog was getting a little worse than the first time I took him in but after talking with Dr.Brian he made me feel a lot better and we decided on a different treatment plan different than the two they provided me with. After coming home and following the plan my pup was able to pass the object he swallowed and resume potty business as normal. I had such a good experience at this veterinary hospital, I recommend Animal Kindness Vet!

Fantastic experience: I always have a great experience at Animal Kindness Vets. Dr. Wachbrit was super. She took the time to examine my pet and explain everything to me. She had a wonderful disposition. The Vet assistant Evelin was very gentle to my pet and explained all the medications. Rachel the receptionist as always was very pleasant and efficient.

Fantastic experience: So happy to have Animal Kindness as our neighborhood vet! They are always so kind and caring--both on the phone and in person. They always have appointments available when you need them, and are able to schedule surgeries promptly. We (my cats and I) have seen every vet here and highly recommend them all! The team has helped us get to the bottom of our cats gastrointestinal destress (ended up being food allergies), and our other cat's mouth pain. For our more skittish cat that's lived most her life as a community free-roaming cat, Dr. Tracy Wachbrit is always soft spoken and gentle. I highly highly recommend making an appointment, which you can even do online: a huge plus!

Positive experience: I received competent veterinary care. Unfortunately, I felt like cash was being extracted from me in every way possible. I finally took my old dog to a new vet when I realized that they charged $7 for every single prescription they wrote wether paper or verifying with an online vendor. I think it was to make up for the revenue they lost on overpriced prescriptions that they fill on site. My dog has 4 prescriptions and it was a tax that I did not appreciate. If you have money to burn on vet care, this could work for you.

Fantastic experience: Super friendly staff, this was our first time bringing our cat to a vet and everything was very smooth and quick. Definitely trust this place with our pet!

Fantastic experience: We feel lucky to have found this practice. They treat all of our animals like their own. We have a special needs dog and they take the time and patience to treat her. The doctors take the time to explain things in detail and we appreciate the personal touch. They can get busy and backed up but If you watch and listen it’s because they don’t rush and provide quality care.

Fantastic experience: Staff is attentive and caring! Dr. McAllister is very knowledgeable and down to earth! I appreciate his transparency when it came to the care of my precious cat Jack! Positive experience: Reading some of the one stars makes me think that those people were either a “Karen” or just didn’t have a good attitude coming into the office… I will agree it was a bit toasty in the lobby but it’s to be expected especially with a smaller space/lobby area but I didn’t mind it too much I think it’s mostly to keep the animals at a decent temperature… Anyways I’m only giving four stars just because they are a bit pricey, took my kitty Quinn in front lady’s were super nice otp and in person, even let me pet the kitty and pup in the office area. I had called to see if I could schedule an appointment same day for my kitty Quinn cause she had eaten a piece of plastic from a caprisun and they said I could come bring her in. I think the people complaining about the “hidden” fees just didn’t ask if/what their service fee was… I will probably bring my kitty(s) here from now on even though I live 30min out. It was about $558 but they do offer military discounts so I only paid about 503 and they did some ex-rays bloodwork and a few other things and sent us home with some medicated food and gel. Don’t remember which doctor I had but him and the other nurse lady were very kind even when she accidentally dropped the picture frame off the top. They weren’t angry and didn’t raise their voice which I really appreciated as well. Quinn is currently back to her normal self and vocalizing with me and my partner and our other kitty, and thank lords not throwing up. She was better the morning after we gave her the medicated food. Positive experience: My kids found a kitten so we took it in. She needed antibiotics to get rid of a sneeze and watery eyes. They treated her great and she was better in days. I had taken her in prior but i took too long to refill her perscrition. I took a star cause I was charged more for a second visit. Though it's my fault I waited too long. I had other appointments.

Fantastic experience: I was worried about my Blue Tongue Skink and even more worried about being able to find a specialist in reptiles or exotic animals. I took a chance on Animal Kindness and was glad I did. The staff provided a friendly and professional atmosphere, and Tracy was great with my scaly child (Wrex). After treating him with the provided antibiotics, recommended food formula, and mite treatment, my scaly boi is slowly getting more energy and looking healthy. This place has heart as well as experience. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Everyone was nice. The office is very clean as well. My baby will be going back there for a ultrasound. My cat who passed last year was seen there too. He had bone cancer unfortunately.

Fantastic experience: Called and got in the same day as a new patient with an injury. Staff was very nice and helpful. It was clean and comfortable. Helped my cat get exactly what was needed without charging us for anything extra. And it was VERY affordable. We spent half of what we expected and were very happy. Definitely recommend and already have told friends to come here if they need it.

Fantastic experience: I've been using Animal Kindness for well over over 20 years when Dr Holt opened the clinic. Dr McCallister obtained the clinic from Dr. Holt, and his kindness and compassion for our little JJ, a toy poodle, is great. JJ just had several teeth removed and is feeling great! I highly recommend Dr. McCallister and his team for your fur baby's care!!

Fantastic experience: I had to take my little Rosie (Chihuahua) in due to the fact that she had developed a lump under her jawline. After not eating for a couple of days, but drinking water & then finding this lump; I knew that she needed to see the vet. They (Dr McAllister) took very good care of her. My little gal had something like this once before several years ago, so I knew that it was some sort of infection. She was given antibiotics by injection and a short-term pain med. Later that evening, she started eating again. She is on the mend!

Fantastic experience: Dr McAllister is so wonderful with or boys, they don't mind going to the doctor! His help was invaluable in getting my Maltese back to health. Diagnostics are top notch. Grooming with Ms. Angel is fun for our boys and they always look forward to spending time with her.
