Negative experience: My dog and I visited on Monday for partial rectal prolapse. No urgency was given. An assumption of parasites was made. No offer to perform testing while we were there. A quick Google search mentioned a potential blockage. I was told to follow up with the Primary vet for testing. A bland diet and topical steroids were given with a recommendation of a cone for 3-5 days. No one informed me of the potential urgency of this issue if her symptoms worsened. Google gave me what I needed to look for. She ended up at her primary vet in a more urgent matter a few days later after she vomited her breakfast, pooping blood after painful straining every time she tried to poop, extremely inflamed intestines, blood coming from her rectum when any pressure was a applied and a 98% blockage in her stomach found with a barium contrast test and Xrays. She is fortunate to not need surgery as of yet but it’s still a possibility. Her primary vet has been working diligently to help her in the least invasive ways.
Fantastic experience: So this place was so great!! Brought in my tiny yorkie who had ingested a raisin which is highly toxic. They took her in immediately and took such great care that we were able to take her back home safely within an hour. Cost was very reasonable. We are grateful for the entire staff for taking such great care of our Shelby!!

Fantastic experience: We brought our 14 year old Maltese into Animal Urgent Care in the middle of the night while we were on vacation, during a very stressful and unexpected situation. We were far from home and our regular vet, which made everything feel even more overwhelming — but in the end we were incredibly impressed with the care she received. They answered the phone promptly when we called, which immediately gave us reassurance. From the moment we arrived, the team was receptive, thorough, and attentive. They carefully listened as we described Pearl’s symptoms and took detailed notes to ensure nothing was overlooked. It was clear they were fully engaged and committed to understanding what was happening. Their knowledge and experience truly stood out. They asked thoughtful, targeted questions that helped get to the root of the issue. Even before all testing was completed, they gave us a realistic and well-explained prognosis — one that ultimately proved to be very accurate once results came back. When we followed up with our regular veterinarian back home, she specifically commented that she was very impressed with Animal Urgent Care and agreed with everything they said and did. That confirmation meant a lot to us and reinforced how solid their assessment and treatment plan were. In the middle of a frightening and uncertain night, far from home, their professionalism and clinical judgment gave us clarity and confidence. We’re very grateful for the care Pearl received and would absolutely go back again if we were ever in the area and needed urgent veterinary care.

Fantastic experience: Always very helpful, best care for my dogs. Can’t say enough good things
Negative experience: I didn’t get a good feel from this place and it felt a little we were being taken advantage of. We brought our dog to urgent care around midnight and then brought back the following morning for xrays. When we brought our dog on Saturday night, they wouldn’t do anything u til we authorized and signed an iPad. The following morning, we didn’t authorize anything and the vet basically came out and told us that we owed $700. Even though we didn’t actually authorize, I was under the impression that we were paying $360 for X-rays. The cost doubled because the vet wanted a specialist to look at X-rays also, which we did not get asked if we wanted to do and which we didn’t authorize. I also didn’t like how they kept asking us to prepay for the X-rays, which we came back the next morning for. There is no benefit to prepaying for X-rays and it felt like they wanted us to pre pay…just incase we changed our minds.
Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at this urgent care tonight. They were kind, professional, timely and calm. They prepared me well for the costs and everything was reasonable. I appreciate the staff and will be coming back here in the future if needed. Thanks again.

Fantastic experience: I had to take my pitty Cass in on Thursday and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. He was seen in a very timely manner and the staff was amazing with him. Fantastic experience: Our little schnauzer was having some health issues and he fainted late one night. We ran to Animal Urgent Care and they did everything they could to help! They said they could keep him on oxogen and comfortable through the night but his heart was too weak. They gave him enough energy to let us say goodbye and cuddle him. We never wanted to say goodbye to our baby, but they made it as comfortable as possible. The staff was incredibly compassionate and kind during a very difficult moment for our family.

Fantastic experience: After a horrible experience with a different urgent care we brought our cat to this care center. I can’t express how attentive the staff was to the needs of our cat when she was barely hanging on. They were able to save her life and stabilize her and then find an obstruction from a toy she ate that the other urgent care missed. Not only was Tracy great with communication with me, she was deeply empathetic. The surgery could have been a crippling financial cost but Tracy and staff showed wonderful honesty and integrity and kept the cost as low as possible. It ended up being way less than the best case quote I was given. I can’t express the gratitude I have to Tracy and everyone there for taking such great care of our loved one. I highly recommend taking your pet to this location due to the knowledge, honesty, integrity, and care they provide. I know not every situation can be as lucky as ours but in one of the worst moments you can experience the staff shows that they care about you and your loved one. I’m happy to say Lilly is doing much better! Thank you again!!!!

Fantastic experience: I don’t normally make reviews but this one felt necessary. I had to take my cat jasper in today for an emergency visit, similar to something the happened with him a year ago. Both times we got the same doctor, Alexandra Prado. She has so much compassion not only for the animals but also the worried pet moms and dads. Alexandra leaves no stone unturned and truly makes a difference at this location!!!

Negative experience: Update: This was a 5 star review. I’ve left the original review below. I'm truly, truly disappointed. A month after the seizures (which have been well maintained), I brought him in for Hot Spots along his groin caused from nervous licking while I was on vacation. I brought him in on Tuesday and spent $400 on visit and rx. 5 days later, the spot is angrier looking than I’d like (he’s still on prednisone) but the Gentamicin spray bottle of 120 ml twice a day, did not last long. It’s almost like that bag of chips you buy at the store that’s so full of air, you pay $4 for 6 chips. I placed an order with Chewy for another bottle of this topical spray and indicated Animal Urgent Care as the prescriber, and they declined it. When I called Animal Urgent Care to ask why, I was told by front end staff that the Dr. initially thought I was asking for a refill of Gabapentin and that it was declined because of that. What!!!??? I was then told that I needed to bring him in again to refill that topical spray. But they would be happy to approve lidocaine spray through Chewy (I can get that at Walgreens & dont need anyones approval). I just spent $400 and was told I need to spend $100 + more in less than 5 days. I wasn't able to get my guy into his regular vet until Wed. I placed the order again and they declined it. I then get an email from the Dr. talking to me about respectability, when I was just told that the Dr. declined the RX spray because they thought I was trying to reorder his pain meds. Which, I get if that had been true. The pain meds are often abused by people. I understand that, but that was not the case here at all. At the very least, the front desk person should be better trained on how to talk to customers, and, in this case, the Dr. needed to get their facts straight and not pass untruths onto front end staff. Respectfully. Original review: Reggie my pup has been here a few times. The latest had him here due to developing nighttime seizures. Dr. Prado and team were very knowledgeable, communicative, transparent & kind. They ruled out the "big bad scary" reasons why he was experiencing these nighttime seizures and got him on a course of meds that are liver friendly and have almost zero long term side effects. A great community resource to have close to home xo

Fantastic experience: I came from out of state for a vacation and brought some of my fur babies along for the trip, unfortunately one caught parvo and they were able to help us in the middle of the night, they did everything they could with the budget we had and they did amazing, they can get busy but are still very attentive and caring for the animals in their care and now here we are 3 days later going home with everyone still doing well... ps: baby boi is doing better

Fantastic experience: I am a veterinarian (GP) myself, and when something happens with my own pets, I panic! They were able to get me in and have my kitty looked at in a very timely manner after hours, were kind and compassionate, and developed a great treatment plan including next steps, which is very reassuring as an owner. The entire staff was very friendly, empathetic and helpful. Cannot recommend AUC Arvada enough when your babies need it!

Fantastic experience: After my dog got into some Tylenol, we looked up a nearby urgent care and I am so unbelievably grateful that we came to this exact place. They quickly rushed her back to induce vomiting and reassured me multiple times about what to expect. I just knew that she was in good hands with these truly compassionate people. From the vet, to the vet techs, to the people behind the desk, I just really felt like there was no other place that could take better care of her. I hope to never come back, but I know now where I need to bring her in an emergency and it's a good feeling!! Grateful would be an understatement.

Fantastic experience: I have had both of my frenchies treated at the urgent care and every time I have been very satisfied with their care - they are good listeners and very caring people and try to keep costs down when possible. I trust them with my babies!
Fantastic experience: We have been seeing Animal Urgent Care for many years (with 3 or 4 of our dogs and cats). The staff is always so kind, helpful and understanding (even as they were short staffed and very busy at this visit). This time our 15yr old dog had become very wobbly and had a slight head tilt. They also noticed and pointed out that his eyes were darting back & forth. They accessed he may have "old dog" vestibular syndrome. Their staff is very knowledgeable, explained what to expect, all of it in detail. We're so thankful they are available for our unfortunate urgent pet needs.
Fantastic experience: Bringing a sick or injured pet to a healthcare facility is always a difficult time, but the staff at AUC Arvada made it extremely easy and comforting. Fantastic experience: So thankful this urgent care was recommended when I was in town visiting family for Christmas. My chihuahua Minnie was having breathing troubles at CO's higher elevations and she was cared for at the highest level by the entire staff. Fantastic experience: I just went in for my baby who was bleeding in one eye. From the moment I got there, I was met with compassion and kindness. Fantastic experience: Wonderful facility, staff, and full array of emergency services to care for dogs in urgent care circumstances. One of my dogs ate a pine cone and fortunately we were able to walk right in and be seen immediately. Staff understands that you don't want to stand there at the front desk filling out forms in emergency situations, so all they asked for was my dog's name and weight. Then went right into a care room, and scanned a QR code to enter all my info. That was a nice touch. Highly recommend this facility when/if you need emergency care for your furry ones.
Fantastic experience: Our animals have a tendency to need care on holidays and off hours, and Animal Urgent Care in Arvada has always been the most top notch very services in the area. They are friendly, caring, professional, and fair in their pricing. Simply put, they're great.
Fantastic experience: It’s always a great experience at AUC. When I say always that means with my personal dogs or with my foster dogs with Ho-Bo Care Boxer Rescue which this visit was for. Unfortunately it was a holiday night Parvo puppy and we were able to get her in quickly and get her in and on medical protocol ASAP and she is doing amazingly now. As always, thanks so much to the staff and doctors there for the wonderful work they do.

Fantastic experience: Incredibly kind and compassionate front desk, vet tech and veterinarian. Despite coming in at a time with multiple emergencies, the wait time was not terrible for an urgent care and I felt like we were still a priority for the staff. Very reasonable pricing for after hours care compared to others. Marshall was taken care of and I was given lots of information and advice about his care. I felt comfortable letting them work on my bud and they made sure to explain everything that they were doing and why. The staffs knowledge and experience helped turn our bad day into just another day at the vet.

Fantastic experience: The staff were compassionate and professional. They took very good care of my Kitten. The clinic was clean and shiny. I highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: The staff was very knowledgeable and very friendly. There was a 2 hr wait time, but they took my dog back right away to asses her pain. They gave her a pain shot (upon my approval), so she didn't have to wait in pain. The Vet tech came out to check on us and the doc came and talked to us in the waiting room since a room was not available. We were then put in a room, so we could talk further about my dogs back. After following up with my Vet, she agreed with everything that was done and the meds that were prescribed. Total time was little over an hour. Plus the amount charged was low for ER treatment. I highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: Extremely happy with the care and professionalism of every staff member who worked with us. My kitten is a bit spicy as a feral rescue and they were so great with her. I appreciate the extremely reasonable pricing when everything is so expensive these days it is comforting to know we received solid great care. Fantastic experience: We have used this clinic a few times unfortunately when our pets have been close to death. They are always compassionate and caring to us when we go in. Tonight my daughters had to take their Guinea pig in by themselves and Sadie was very kind and helpful and made them feel comfortable in this garden time. Thank you all for your kindness.
Fantastic experience: I have had to use this emergency veterinary office a few different times. Each time I encounter very compassionate staff members. This week I had to bring in my dog who cut her paws on Garden edging. There were many people ahead of us, but the tech took my dog in to wrap her up to give her a temporary bandage until we could see the vet. They just did not leave us waiting in the waiting room as she bled. Dr. Smith has been at this facility for years and I appreciate her being a continued constant to provide good care.

Negative experience: The staff is compassionate with my dog, BUT i shudder at the thought of a real life-or-death emergency. The waiting time is FOREVER!! This is the 4th time we are here. I understand this is a triage hospital and there are patients needing care in the back. But this is ridiculous and embarrassing. Simple updates and communication about waiting times will make all the difference! The average waiting time for the tecnician is 30-40 min. Then add the waiting time for the vet (50-80 minutes) thereafter. This last visit was 34 min for the technician, and 1h and 52 min for the vet. I timed it. The whole episode took 3 hours and 12 minutes. Better communication and TIME MANAGEMENT will benefit this place, change the experience and likelihood of recommending them. Remember this is "urgent care", not a vet clinic.
Fantastic experience: Our dog charlie decided raisin bagels were on the menu so we had to bring her in. The staff were all wonderful. Very kind, friendly, and took time with us. Charlie also gets so scared at the vet and they were able to handle her with ease even though it was their first time meeting her. they definitely had a more critical patient there but when they were done they still took time with us and explained everything thoroughly. They also gave us great info on standard of care and treatment options. I appreciate that so much. Grateful they were there to help us. Also, way less expensive than I thought it would be for an emergency after hours visit.

Fantastic experience: We took our 18 month old Drathaar in because she was favoring one of her legs for 2 days. The wait wasn’t too terribly long. The vet and staff were very nice, communicated clearly and discussed all options without any pressure. 10/10 would recommend!

I took my cat in when he became very lethargic over a couple of day period and my regular vet didn't have any availability. Positive experience: Everyone there were super nice, the only thing was that i feel they really didnt take the time to observe my dog because they had like 2 people come in while we were there that were Critical, so even though I understand that happens, I still felt like my dog didn't get 100%.

Fantastic experience: Showed up after hours with my very old little dog in heart failure. He was whisked to the back immediately to stabilize him. Every staff member I had contact with was wonderful; so very kind, respectful and professional. There was a slight disconnect in keeping me updated on my dog’s condition at first. But when brought to the staff’s attention, it was immediately addressed. Not my first visit, but will continue to be a customer due to the quality of care and respectful professionalism. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Betsy came here this week with a very bad case of bloody diarrhea. She was seen immediately. They gave me several options of care and I opted to leave her overnight just in case she had a medical emergency. They sent us home the next day with several meds. Unfortunately, she reacted badly and we had to go back. They took such great care of her. Luckily, they adjusted the meds and she did so much better! No more blood and her poop is starting to look solid again. Thank you for your attentiveness and compassion for this little dog. We <3 You!

Fantastic experience: I am so grateful for this team this is not my first time visiting but definitely my most terrifying visit. One of my dogs got his mouth twisted on my other dogs collar almost suffocating the second dog. I called panicking (which continued on arrival). The entire team was incredibly kind. They gave me a first aid kit for myself, took my dog that almost suffocated back for an immediate check up to ensure she was stable before we had to start our wait. It was a long wait but that is to be expected and they were very up front with time frames. The entire time I was met with professionalism and care for both my dogs and myself. Prior to this visit I have come with my 2 prior fur angels for our final goodbye. In 2021 my dog was in too much pain so i let her go, and again in 2023 my dog was diagnosed with terminal cancer with a week to live. Not once did I feel rushed or pressured to hurry up. They let me sit and grieve as long as needed. They were compassionate and professional. So in short do I recommend them... yes. They are kind, clean, and a caring team to take care of your pets in the worst situation at anytime day or night.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Todd genuinely cares. My pup is a big sissy. We had to sedate him multiple times and still he would freak out. The doc came out to my truck and took care of my boy. Also invited me to bring my Aussie Cletus to get him used to the vet. Gabby is usually at the front desk and she is always kind and happy. I love that they genuinely give a care about our pups. Dr. Todd is a really kind vet!

Fantastic experience: I rarely write reviews, but my experience this morning warrants a five star. My 7-year-old golden was experiencing inflammation and swelling in his neck and face and we were unable to get into our regular clinic. The likely culprit would have been lymphoma and heartbreak. The vet I saw (Harris) was incredibly compassionate yet straightforward. She was willing to run the cytology in house and get his labs drawn quickly so we knew what we were dealing with. Thank goodness it appears to be something else entirely, and much less scary than cancer. What I will say is that from the moment we set foot in the welcoming facility we were treated with respect and compassion. They were upfront and willing to discuss costs and workarounds to try to keep cost lower. They were informative and kind without being pushy and blamey. When there were patients that arrived that were understandably more critical than us, they were communicative and let us know when the wait would be delayed. I have not experienced this level of satisfaction in a long time at a "emergency" or urgent facility, and the cost was so much better than if we had gone to a traditional emergency hospital. I just am so pleased. Thank you to Dr Harris and team. We appreciate you.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Animal Urgent Care if anybody needs to take their animals they are great. They take care of your animals. They’re passionate about animals. This is the only place I take my dog if I can’t get him into his regular vet, they’ve saved my dog’s life twice. If you go in there on a budget, they will work around your budget to get your animal. The care and treatment that they need where you can afford it.
Negative experience: I had to hospitalize my cat, Hannah here for 48 hours , and the experience was truly heartbreaking. When I brought her home, she smelled awful. It became clear that during her entire stay, there was no litter box provided in her cage — she was forced to urinate and defecate around herself and sat in filth for days. We had to bathe her for over an hour just to get her somewhat clean. This level of care is absolutely unacceptable. Even a healthy cat could get sick from being kept in such unsanitary conditions. For the amount of money charged, I expected at least a basic standard of hygiene and competent care. Instead, what I experienced was the worst standard of care I have ever seen. My cat, Hannah, is still lethargic and her condition has even worsened since being discharged.

Fantastic experience: My kitty has had the bulk of his care at Animal Urgent Care and it has always been wonderful. My kitty boy just spent 3 days there after surgery and their kindness, professionalism and attentiveness towards my daughter and I was exceptional. I am out of town and my daughter was on pet duty and the vets kept us both in the loop on his care and treatment. I am very grateful for their excellent pet care because my boy is now home and doing well.

Fantastic experience: Animal Urgent Care is simply the BEST! We have three dogs a French Bulldog, a Belgian Malinois, and a German Shepherd and each one comes with their own set of quirks and challenges. Our German Shepherd, Axel, in particular, is very reactive and can be extremely difficult to handle. Despite that, Dr. Renate Schlaht and the entire team have shown us nothing but compassion, patience, and true professionalism. Dr. Schlaht has helped us through two particularly tough situations once with our Malinois, Salazar, and once with Axel and both times, the care we received went far beyond our expectations. They treated our dogs with skill and empathy, and they treated us with respect and understanding. Our dogs are not easy, but this team never makes us feel like a burden. They’re accommodating, non-judgmental, and genuinely dedicated to providing top-tier care, no matter the circumstances. We are incredibly grateful to have a place like Animal Urgent Care we can rely on. Knowing our dogs are in such capable and compassionate hands gives us so much peace of mind. Fantastic experience: Absolutely best experience in our worst situation ever! While on vacation from Texas our standard poodle suddenly became very sick and died just as we were carrying him in to Animal urgent care clinic. From the moment we walked through the door all of the staff rushed to help with the most sincere sympathy and care I have ever felt. All the staff were very professional, kind and supportive while helping our family to say good bye to our dog and gave us as much time as we needed. Later the clinic followed up with us to see how we were doing and mailed us a card with handwritten notes from all the staff. The card also included a pamphlet with grieving information and an uplifting keepsake memorial card. We are so grateful we found this clinic and to all the staff who made our unexpected tragic loss the best experience possible.

Fantastic experience: Excellent care, the only Emergency Vet that make you feel like you're at your regular vet in terms on personal interaction. Staff is from the moment you walk in the door. Fantastic experience: The staff here took the best care of my little puppy, Finn this weekend. My poor 5 month old puppy started acting off during a walk. Since he is a puppy, he is constantly eating anything he sees, he especially likes to eat bugs. It started with him being a little clumsier than normal, then kind of wobbling all over, like his legs would wobble so he would sit down, then his upper body would be wobbling and he was having difficulty keeping himself upright. Within the next 15-20 minutes I felt as if he was going unconscious in my arms and his breathing was slowing. I panicked and immediately headed out the door. I called them on my way, crying, explaining what was going on, and that hes constantly eating things outside. They said its possible he could have ingested THC and they were absolutely right, he did. As soon as we walked in, they took him back and started treating him within minutes. They were very knowledgeable and never made us feel bad or judged. They had to keep him over night but Sadie made us feel welcome to call as often as we wanted for updates. Every time I called, they all knew Finn's status and got me on the phone with the doctor when needed. I know he was loved on and watched all night. When I called at 1:30 am, the girl on the phone was so bubbly and happy to be helping with Finn and I just know he was in good hands all night. I am the type of person who does not trust others with my dogs. I have a 12 year old dog and now a 5 month old puppy, and for the past 12 years my dog has never been to the groomer, I do that myself at home. I hear horror stories of pets getting hurt or mistreated, so I do everything myself for them. Over the years my 12 year old pup has only been to a handful of different vets (usually on weekends or during covid I had to try new places) because I usually dont think places treat him with enough care to continue going there. His primary vet has seen him for 11/12 years of his life. I truly felt at peace with my little Finn being at this hospital overnight. I'm so grateful I found the right place and he's now home happy and energetic as ever.

Negative experience: AVOID GOING HERE AT ALL COSTS. The price you’ll pay to visit here will not just be financial. It will be your pets well being, your own mental health & trust in veterinary care. Arvada Urgent Care gave no empathy, no effort, no professionalism to me or my kitty. Absolutely pathetic. We waited patiently for hours without any updates. We were finally seen & they were extremely aggressive to my cat & did the bare minimum. They claimed they had given the highest level of sedation to get an x-ray, but I later confirmed with Arvada Veterinary Hospital that they had given him the lowest dose possible. Even worse than being lied to, they didn’t even allow time for the sedative to kick in. They put in 10 minutes of effort before giving up. Their act of care was just sending us home with medication & told us if he isn’t better in 5-7 days days to come back. I never experienced such a careless act. They saw he was in pain, but just viewed him as a bad cat. After dealing with an emotionally exhausting experience, I left my car keys behind. When I went back to receive them, one team member joked & said I couldn’t have them back. Treated like a joke after everything I went through. Arvada Urgent Care, do better. Your priorities are profit. Your team needs an egregious amount of help to even be considered a half decent veterinary practice. Please take my experience.. as a learning experience. Save your money, time, & peace of mind!

Negative experience: Horrible experience! Don't take your animal here. We took our dog here for an obstruction. They kept her overnight. Did an xray. Said there was not a foreign object. Then in the morning stating that there could be. They were not sure and gave conflicting information the entire time. We lost all faith in what we were being told. They fed our dog and then said she would need an ultrasound to confirm an obstruction, but that we had to wait another day due to her having food in her stomach to get an ultrasound. We finally made the right decision to pull her out of their care after $2300 for a night's stay and time lost for an urgent matter. When we picked her up she had feces all over her bottom like she had not been taken out to go potty and claimed they attempted to clean her bottom. Worst experience. We took her to a better vet with better care and people we trust.

Fantastic experience: I brought my English Bulldog here the other night for the first time, because he appeared to be experiencing a sever allergic reaction to something. They were able to see us right away and take the necessary action to get him to relax and reduce his inflammation. I believe they took a holistic approach to assess his condition by listening to his lungs and ensuring there was not something more serious going on. The doctor came out to speak with me and was able to answer all my questions, and give me a comprehensive discharge plan which allowed me to go home confident that he was going to be okay. Fantastic experience: My Roxy received loving care overnight to stabilize her with hemorrhagic gastro-enteritis. We came in very concerned at 2:30 a.m. The fees were lower than I expected; the wait in the room was quite long @ 3 hours. Urgent care is rarely fast; this was caring, effective and not overly pricey.
Fantastic experience: On the Saturday after July 4th our Golden Retriever’s eye randomly swelled up. We panicked and brought her to a walk-in vet. They said because it was an issue of the eye she should go to an animal hospital. They gave us a list of animal hospitals and 24 hour emergency clinics. We went to three different animal hospitals that couldn’t see her before breaking down and coming here. Wish we just came here right away. Within 30 seconds of walking in the door they confirmed our suspicions of a bee sting and took her back to take care of her. Their prices were reasonable for after hours care, but more so I couldn’t believe how they helped ensure we didn’t spend more - or give our dog more than we needed to. Instead of just giving my dog benadryl and a steroid shot and letting us go on our way, they administered the Benadryl and waited with us for 20 minutes to see how she responded. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. I won’t even hesitate on after hours care again knowing that I have this place in my back pocket. Thank you!!!
Fantastic experience: I recently came here because my cat Tofu was in critical condition. When I got to the urgent care the staff was very caring, informative, and empathetic. They gave me a lot of detail to allow me to understand her condition, treatment plans, and cost. Sadly because of her condition and the amount of funds I had, the treatment plan was not an option. She passed away peacefully yesterday morning in my dad’s lap. I want to thank you guys for caring and helping her in her last moment. You are all so awesome!

Fantastic experience: It is a struggle to find a good emergency care vet. Unfortunately we found one last night because we needed it and it did not end well. But this urgent care was on top of everything and they took care of everything. Professional, kind, quiet, calm, rationally priced... And many, many more words to describe. If you need an emergency vet, this is the place to go.
Fantastic experience: I waited a little over a year to post this only because the loss of a pet is so difficult and painful. We took my 12 year old black Labrador, Jackson to Animal Urgent Care June of last year. Unfortunately, he ended up passing away on our car ride there. Animal Urgent Care staff were so extremely compassionate and supportive. It was a very traumatic experience for us all and we couldn’t have gotten through it without their assistance. AUC allowed us our time with him in a private room with a few of our family members who came to show him love. Afterwards the staff was professional and genuine about our situation and understood how difficult it was. We received his ashes a week later and even a very thoughtful card. Fantastic experience: Called to let them know we were on our way with sudden onset of very scary symptoms in our Golden Retriever - upon our arrival, they had an immediate theory that we would have never guessed and were able to provide us with information and treatment options. In and out in about an hour and our boy is doing just fine now! This place is great for emergencies.

Fantastic experience: Our eight month old Labrador puppy had a severe allergic reaction to, what we believe was, a bee or wasp sting. Of course it was a Sunday and our regular vet was closed. We contacted Animal Urgent Care and they took her in right away. They were professional and caring and our Lola was quickly on the mend. Fantastic experience: The staff was wonderful about explaining what was wrong with our dog, what they needed to do, and what we needed to do once we got him home. Fantastic experience: We took our Lab to Animal Urgent Care in Arvada because she ate part of her cone, while in her kennel. She was recovering from being spayed about 10 days prior to that, and we had left her in her kennel with a soft-sided cone on. Never would we have imagined that she would eat part of the cone. We found Dr. Omar and the entire staff kind and caring. They dealt with the situation immediately before anything could progress. We have used Animal Urgent Care in Arvada in the past, and would use them again. Obviously, emergency care is a totally different thing than standard veterinary care. We appreciated the entire team, and the calm and caring way they dealt with the emergency. Thank you for your kind and quick care of our beloved Lab!
