Town and Country Animal Hospital: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: Grateful rates, nice staff. Do mail order medications through VetSource! Surgery was 1/2 the cost VCA quoted us.
Experiencia fantástica: Great front desk support and caring staff. The doctors always show extended care and really take time to evaluate and listen to my concerns, even on a busy weekend! I highly recommend this Animal Hospital.
Experiencia fantástica: I’ve consistently had wonderful experiences at Town & Country. I have found that they take my concerns about pet’s health seriously and always do their due diligence to understand their health and needs- even when I’ve been brushed off by other vets. I’ve also never once felt pressured into doing an unnecessary procedure, or indeed anything that was not in my pet’s best interest. The from the techs and the veterinary doctors are clearly motivated by a love for pets and a passion for their care. I can feel the kindness and compassion radiating off them during my visits, even though I don’t have the most cooperative pets in the world, haha. I’ve experienced everything from routine health checkups to emergencies to end of life care, and Town and Country has provided top quality service every time. Special note that they’re an amazing choice if you, like me, have a retired racing greyhound. They have a lot of experience in their care and in particular their special requirements for anesthesia for veterinary surgery. I’ve referred multiple people to Town and Country, and each and every one of them has given me the same feedback: that they can’t believe they stuck with their old vet as long as they did, that hey felt listened to for the first time, and in at least one case they managed to resolve an issue that had been plaguing a friend’s cat for almost a decade that multiple other vets couldn’t. I give Town and Country my highest recommendation- I think that anyone should feel fortunate to have our beloved animals under their care. My cats Trill and Persimmon and my dog Penny appreciate it… even if they aren’t at their best during their visits ;)
Experiencia positiva: My only complaint is I needed to help my dear Sherlock (he had cancer) "crossover", so I called the vet office and the receptionist said she could get me appointment in 2 weeks. I felt I could not wait, so I called an in home euthanasia vet. (That experience was traumatic and frankly unkind). In looking back I wish that the office would have accommodate pets that need to have a euthanasia done better.
Thank you so much Susan. Your feedback is very much appreciated.
Experiencia fantástica: Town and Country staff were so kind when we brought in our 13 yo pup with worsening cancer symptoms to cross the rainbow bridge. The vet tech was amazing and so compassionate, understanding our grief, offering squeeze cheese for some end of life joy for our girl, clearly explaining the process - everything went as well as it could go. I hope to have Town & Country as our vet for many years.
Experiencia negativa: Debbie at the front desk, needs to be fired! She has the WORST tone over the phone along with not being a nice person, she is far from kind and the most rude female i've ever spoken to, in my entire life. First she thought i was calling to try and sell her something and right after hung up without letting me finish or a goodbye. I called back because my boss told me to do so, i did and she put me on hold again? before answering with a ugly tone after, proving she is not a good person by heart, nor will she be around for long. (once A.I finally takes over) Debbie is not anything important behind a desk and keyboard. (Amy, Mark and Olivia is the names that she played professional on giving us, assuming that we wanted the names after getting her name?) My question was to speck to an actual IMPORTANT person that has the same desire in helping animals as we do, in hopes of transferring a case from our clinic to this place. She is not going to do well for this place in 2026 with her anger and issues that she needs to go get therapy for, when all she had to do was take my name and number down before saying goodbye and happy new years. ( i'm sure for the clinic closed a call back could of been made) My boss said he never send anyone there, ever after hearing that on speaker! (Debbie do not quit your day job, like you quit having respect over the phone.)
Experiencia negativa: It’s a couple years ago but this review is very much due. My dog had become critically ill and we had been working with a sister ER to Town and Country who had us set up a follow up appointment here. In the meantime we had gone back to the other ER and eventually to Dove Lewis because he had gotten worse. Dove Lewis thought it might be Addison’s disease. The instructions were to have T&C check. Our first appointment went well but we were told we would have to wait for the steroids to test for Addison’s. My dog got worse. We went back. Next doctor starts talking to us about my dogs back issue as diagnosed by the first hospital… Which was a clear misdiagnosis given that my dog nearly died… As the woman went on, I asked her if she even bothered to look at the full file and read what I had taken place? She had not. She was absolutely unaware of the Suspicions that Dove Lewis had and was just going off our very first visit to the first ER… So literally three doctors appointments ago. I was told again there was nothing they could do and sent home. My dog continued to get worse and worse and I knew he needed to have the testing for Addison’s disease so we could get him the right medication. I also knew that the prednisone he had been given Seemed to be what helped him so he didn’t completely crash out. Again, I was told they couldn’t test and I had to fight tooth and nail to get them to agree to give him prednisone. Luckily, I have friends who are in rescue and I reached out to them for who they go to medically for the animals they bring in. I got directly in the same day with that other hospital who tested the same day and confirmed Addison’s. They also made it very clear. There was no reason to delay that test testing. It could’ve been done at any time. Absolute waste of time going to Town & Country. And it could’ve costed me my dog’s life. Luckily, three years later, he is still alive and doing well other than normal senior issues… No thanks to these people
Experiencia negativa: Odd billing practices was intentionally scheduled 3 weeks out instead of 4 so that I had to see them 3 times for my kittens shots instead of 2 times Which conveniently makes them a extra 125 dollars. They said it wasn't on purpose but it feels like it
Experiencia negativa: My cat has high thyroid condition, but refusing to take oral med . And I had difficulty to givse oral tab .They told me that there are pharmaceutical companies which make liquid form of thyroid med, which much easier to give. The MD and Vet Tech told me that they will check with companies. And they call me back. However they never call me back yet!!.
Experiencia fantástica: All of the employees are very friendly and treat Saint like he's one of their dogs.
Experiencia negativa: Unaffordable now. I have been going to this vet office for 4 years now for my geriatric cat to get thyroid medication. I started going because they were the only people I could afford to get her yearly blood work done for, and came highly recommended from my community. Now they have chanced policy unnoticed and are wanting me to come in twice a year, and didn't inform me until after her medication ran out. Now I have to find 400 dollars twice a year for geriatric blood work. Thanks! Very affordable! They have effectively priced me out of the care I need to keep my cat happy and healthy despite years of her being perfectly fine on the medications.
Experiencia positiva: I really liked this place for the first few years I was taking my pets there, but I’ve had some really weird experiences lately and I’m changing veterinarians. Like most of the other reviews state, this place is fine for a routine care and vaccinations, and the staff is kind, but I would not take them here for any sort of real issue or concern. On two different occasions, I brought up my pups severe seasonal allergies. At no point did the doctor entertain the idea of Apoquel, which ultimately was what was needed to relieve him of his symptoms. Every time I would raise this concern despite how horrible the rash was, they would just tell me to give him Zyrtec and regular baths. One day I needed to take him in for a bacterial infection, and Town & Country was booked up, so I went to the Sadie Veterinarian at their recommendation. Sadie Vet immediately prescribed him Apoquel, and they seemed very surprised that had not been a solution proposed by Town & Country. His rashes cleared up immediately. When I called up Town & Country later to have them assist with refilling the medication, despite Sadie Vet being their partner veterinary office and having sent the records of his issue, they refused to refill the medication. This on top of the fact that the last time I went in, they told me that it would be better to feed my dog Purina or Science Diet kibble, instead of the Farmers Dog fresh food that I’m currently feeding him. I just don’t trust these people anymore.
Experiencia fantástica: My first time going to Town & Country Animal Hospital my mother in law took Shelby the big golden retriever to get her shots while me and my husband and maple and my mother in law waited in the waiting room and the lady vet tech & vet lady customer service were very kind and friendly towards us and our furry pets! ❤️
Hi Erin, thank you so much for this review! It's such a great feeling to know that we left you with such a remarkable impression of Town & Country. Thank you for sharing and we'll be sure to pass this on to Shelby's team that day: Dr. Rejba and Lexi.
Experiencia fantástica: Very happy with the care and treatment they have given Chico as a first time visit. We will be back. We have been back multiple times with the dynamic duo. Chico & Coco. Always get the same level of love and care.
Hi Greg, thank you for the kind words! We love hearing comments like this and will pass it along to the team! Chico's care is very important to us and appreciate you trusting us to provide care for him!
Experiencia fantástica: Always a pleasant experience. This time our new dog needed teeth cleaning and extractions. Our dog did great and the staff was very informative and caring as was the Dr.
Hi Sandra, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're thrilled that you had a great experience at Town & Country. We're always happy to assist so don't hesitate to reach out to us if you, Ruby or any of your other furry family members need anything. Thanks again and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
Experiencia fantástica: been with the clinic about 30 years - almost since it opened - have always appreciated the loving care my pets have recieved Up-date 2025 My last contact - My little girl came down sick and I called to bring her in. I was told that it was getting to close to closing time to get her in, take her to some all night clinc somewhere. I couldn't find one. She died that night painfully for lack of help. It appears to me that since Dr Andrews has left, the emphasis is on making a dollor - not caring for animals. I won't go back again.
Experiencia fantástica: The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Our visits are affordable and I feel like my dog is in great hands!
Experiencia fantástica: I have been bringing my furry family to Town and Country since 2013 when I moved to the area. For me, as a client, I appreciate their thoroughness, their compassion and care that they show to all of their furry patients. I ask a lot of questions and they have never treated me as annoying. They always go above and beyond when explaining procedures and diagnosis's which for me is very appreciated. I also like that when getting a quote for major work, they give me a range of costs, and to date, I have always had my costs close to the lower range. I appreciate being made aware of the REAL costs before making my medical decisions. Beyond that, they are also wonderful to the humans that love their pets.I have lost 2 kitties over the past year and their empathy and compassion helped me with my losses tremendously. I would definitely recommend Town and Country to any pet owner who wants the best for their love ones.
Experiencia fantástica: One of my dogs is very scared of the vet and he has to go in every month for an injection. The staff is always so kind and sweet with him and often times give him the injection in the waiting room because he doesn't want to go into a room. The staff prioritizes our pets comfort above all else and that's why we continue to bring our pets here even after moving to Vancouver.
Experiencia fantástica: They have taken care of all 4 of our dogs. The staff and vets are so kind and seem to genuinely care.
Experiencia fantástica: Been going here for years for my 2 dogs. Excellent staff. Take wonderful care of my babies!
Experiencia fantástica: Great staff and would recommend. They were welcoming and thorough when assessing my dog. They gave me options for the treatments including prices. They didn't pressure me or guilt trip me into anything I wasn't able to do right then. Clean lobby and rooms as well as a good parking lot.
Experiencia fantástica: Best experience we’ve had so far with animal care and this includes the whole team at town & country from the ladies at the front, to Cassie and Dr. Clark. Couldn’t have asked for anything more they’re amazing, kind, and truly care. 10/10 and so happy they’re there!!
Experiencia fantástica: Town & Country Animal Hospital is just what I was looking for in my neighborhood. They are friendly, professional and caring. My kitty boy is 15 and has thyroid and kidney issues but they diagnosed him and we've got him on a sustainable stable path. He's a happy guy! Would not hesitate to recommend this veterinarian clinic.
Hi Amy, thank you for choosing us for your boys care. He was so good for his visit with us!
Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to T&C for many years with my dogs, they have always been just wonderful to work with. The vets, techs & office staff are always kind, friendly & attentive to my concerns. I am so happy I found them!
Experiencia fantástica: I switched to Town & Country a few years ago, and I have had nothing but great experiences there. The cost of services is about average. The front desk staff are consistently attentive, kind, and competent. The vet techs and vets have been great, they are friendly, patient with my questions, and seem knowledgeable. My cat is shy and never loves going to the vet, but they make an effort to keep him as comfortable and at ease as possible. I highly recommend this office.
Experiencia fantástica: Our neighborhood vet just retired, and I needed to get my sick doggo in to see a vet ASAP. I called all around (with no luck), but when I called Town and Country, Cindy got us an immediate same-day appointment! She and the rest of the staff were kind, accommodating, and professional, and we felt very cared for. I definitely found our new vet clinic!
Experiencia positiva: Friendly, knowledgeable, on time. I liked all the staff and felt comfortable trusting my pets to them. Costs reasonable for the industry.
Experiencia fantástica: My very nervous and reactive dog had his first vet visit with Town & County and they were so patient with him. I’m happy I found this place to be our new vet!
Experiencia fantástica: I love this vet! I’ve been taking my dog here for 5 years and have always had a sweet and caring tech, easy scheduling, and pretty good prices (especially with wellness plan). Highly recommend!
Experiencia negativa: I've been bringing my pet to this vet for 7 years for the same recurring skin irritation. Every time, they've prescribed antibiotics, which have helped. However, during my most recent visit a week and a half ago, despite my concerns about a worsening infection, they only provided medication for itchiness. Now, the infection is worse, and they want me to schedule another appointment just to get the antibiotics they've prescribed in the past. It feels like I'm being charged repeatedly for something that should have been addressed during the initial visit. This is frustrating and feels like a waste of money.
Experiencia fantástica: We've had Dr. Casey Choate as our dog's vet for about two years, and we've been SO happy with the care that we've gotten. She is very patient with him and always tries to create a positive experience, even when he decides to act like 110lbs of spicy feistiness). I've NEVER felt like we were being pressured into doing unnecessary tests or treatments. On the contrary, on more than one occasion she's told us that a pricey test/treatment that we thought might be needed (i.e. an XR for a sore leg that improved with NSAIDs, teeth cleaning for mild plaque) wasn't really necessary. They have also been very transparent about the costs at the start of the visit. Front desk staff have always been super friendly and seem to genuinely love getting to see my dog. I have the utmost trust in Dr. Choate and the rest of the clinic, and I would never think of going with a different vet as long as we're here.
Experiencia positiva: My family has been My family has been bringing our family pets and feral cats that show up to Town and Country Animal Hospital for over 30 years. They have always been kind and reliable. However Dr. Andrew retired and they were bought out. They no longer hold the same charm they once did.
Hi Donna!
Thank you fr the amazing feed back. We appreciate you guys so much as clients and family! We all hope Ash is feeling better after his dental last week.
Experiencia negativa: Id love to be able to give this place zero stars if i could! First of all my boyfriend comes in to drop our cat off for her spay and during the interaction they said we had to pay 38$ for medication when we thought the point of the plan was to cover things like that but then my boyfriend stated i dont have that on me currently and cindy stated “go sell plasma or a sack to pay for it” my boyfriend is a black male and that seemed so so racially motivated and let alone not professional she claimed she was a manager and was going to write the complaint down about herself and i wanted more done another lady helen came to help but i still havent got a update and truly believe cindy needs to be fired
Experiencia fantástica: My sister and I are so happy we found this place! From day one Rylee and everyone else has been so kind and thorough in their attention and care to our dogs. It's always nerve-wracking trusting people to look after the wellbeing of our pets especially in their vulnerable moments of sickness and hurt but both our boys took a quick liking to everyone here, especially Rylee, the wonderful vet tech who has always greeted us four with a smile! We appreciate you all!
Hi Tijera, thank you so much for sharing your experience at our hospital! We appreciate your feedback and both Kobe and Shaq are a pleasure to have as our patients!
Experiencia fantástica: I've been bringing my dog here for 10+ years, and the staff has always been very friendly and helpful. Admittedly, it's tough to get an appointment sometimes, and it would be great if their app let you see your pets records, but we're not changing vets.
Hi Scott, thank you so much for this review! We do our best to get our patients seen when they are in need and will continue to strive to have more appointment availability. We appreciate you entrusting us with Neo and appreciate your honest feedback!
Experiencia negativa: Stay away. This place doesnt care about your pets health. After spending hundreds on exam fees, meds, xrays i still have no answer. And when i called to follow up they told me to go to a urgent care for a non urgent matter! Because they couldnt figure out whats wrong with my cat. Why call yourself a vet when you cant even provide people and their pets FULL vet care. Read reviews!! Like all the reviews have said, these people are good with vaccines and minor things like that, but if you need real health care for your baby i would avoid wasting your time and money here.
Experiencia negativa: Like other recent posters have stated, this place seems to have changed. It’s ok for taking your pet to get vaccines etc, but I would avoid taking them here for any serious concerns. We took our dog in for a heavy limp that they lightly reviewed. They prescribed him steroids and then an antibiotic to put a bandaid on the unknown cause, until they could schedule him for an xray (weeks later). After 2+ weeks on multiple medications (and an xray that didn’t show anything), one morning he was sluggish and we noticed his heartbeat was down to 33 bpm (60 is too low) and rushed him in to urgent care, then to the ER for heart surgery. Both vets expressed this length of medication he was on was dangerous for his heart, which seemed to possibly have had a preexisting medical condition. Town and country never considered taking his vitals or checking his heartbeat during either of his visits there His heart surgery failed (twice). Multiple vet visits and $14k later, we had to say goodbye to our 11 year old guy. Also to note, while he was in surgery, we took our other dog in for seasonal skin allergies, which the same doctor tried to prescribe the same steroids as a band aid. I expressed my concern about our recently diagnosed dog and she didn’t even acknowledge the situation and immediately changed the subject. Sounds like dumping steroids on whatever the problem is, is their go-to I’m not directly blaming town and country for our dog’s death, but I strongly believe their neglect in care greatly contributed to this unfortunate situation. Please don’t risk taking your pet here
Experiencia negativa: This used to be a good place to take your pets. The last time we took 2 dogs. One at 10:30 and one at 11:00. We finished with the 1st dog and the tech asks if we just wanted to pay for both after the 2nd dog. I said yes. So I went to the truck to get the 2nd dog and put the 1st dog in the truck. On my way back in with the 2nd dog the tech passes me and the 2nd dog in the parking lot. I had figured she was giving my wife some medication for the dog or something, not so, she was out there telling my wife to pay up like we were skipping out on the bill. My wife said well my husband is taking care of that after the 2nd dog, there they go in the door now. Then they told me inside that my 2nd dog isn't on the schedule as she was supposed to be seen at 10:00 and we need to pay this bill and reschedule the other dog. They wouldn't accommodate us despite being customers for years, having our cats scheduled for the next day and then treated us like theives. We will never frequent this establishment again.
Experiencia negativa: There is a completely new staff, very money Very money orientated, no real compassion for their clients. Or the owners. And if you aren't ready to pay the bill cash and hand up front you're treated different. This stuff becomes rude. Even guaranteed to send your build's collections despite not having even given you a bill yet The people who work here are amazing! I have a mini aussie rat terrier tea cup chihuahua in mix that had horrible eat infections in both ears, they had been infected for months because I had been incarcerated and my dogs had to stay with a family member who already had to many pets! The vet was amazing and very understanding!! I was grateful he took the time to explain what was going on with her. They even gave me a discount and trimmed her nails for free!! Defiantly taking my pets here from now on
Experiencia negativa: I have been a client of Town and Country for many years. The care has been going downhill for a while. Everytime I take my dog or cat in, we see a different vet. They have failed to diagnose or misdiagnose issues with both animals. My dog had “hernia” surgery last week. He didn’t have a hernia. The post surgical care has been terrible. He has had multiple complications which have been minimized/not addressed. Phone calls have not been returned. This used to be a good practice but I’m done with them now. On top of everything, I am going to have to take my dog to emergency which will cost about $300 because they can’t be bothered to care for their patients.
Experiencia negativa: I am deeply disappointed and heartbroken over the care my dog received at this clinic. I brought my pup in when he started limping out of nowhere. The first vet we saw said it was most likely Degenerative Myelopathy and he was prescribed Carprofen, which I later realized was contraindicated due to his pre-existing kidney disease. Over the course of two weeks, while trying to manage his worsening condition, three different veterinarians failed to diagnose his urinary tract infection (UTI), despite multiple visits where I inquired about this possibility. When I asked about a possible UTI it was shrugged off, as they thought his spinal issue was the reason for his loss of bladder control. When I finally took the initiative to bring in his urine, it was discovered he did in fact have a UTI, and he was prescribed Cipro, which again, probably shouldn't have been used due to his kidney disease. Despite these treatments, and possibly due to them, his condition worsened, leading to seizures and me having to take him to be put down in the middle of the night. Moreover, my dog, though 16 years old, was vibrant and healthy just a week prior. He was dismissed as ‘old’ without proper consideration of his recent health status, which contributed to the misdiagnosis and inadequate treatment. Throughout this process, my attempts to seek clarification on the medications went unanswered. The clinic cited staffing issues due to employees’ chronic illnesses, which, while understandable, does not excuse the lack of thorough care and communication. It is unacceptable for a clinic to take on more patients than they can thoroughly care for. My dog’s suffering and death could have been prevented with more accurate diagnostics and better communication. I hope this review serves as a call for the clinic to address these critical issues to ensure better care for future patients. My boy didn't have to suffer like he did and I am absolutely gutted. They also need to address the rude receptionist - not sure her name but sits on the left? Deb however was always kind and compassionate.
Experiencia negativa: I am VERY unhappy with the services here. I took my dog in on July 1 & paid $495 for exam, ear medication, rabies vaccination and blood work. They gave me an incomplete rabies certification. It had no date or any detail as to when it expired. I called & requested a completed one and as of July 18th I still don't have the complete certificate or the blood work results inspite of calling and asking for both.
Experiencia negativa: Town and country is an amazing place , I have taken my furry companions there for about 6-7 years now but it is a hit and miss depending on which Dr you see. If you make an appointment , you probably want Dr Johnson or Dr Nelson , the other guy not so much , I have had 2 appointments with him for different dogs and each one was not great. He accidentally stabbed my fiance with a needle while trying to give my dog a lepto shot and shrugged it off. My second experience was taking my elderly dog in for mobility issues and vaccines . When discussing her exam he tried to say my dog might have renal issues due to bad breath..... when I explained she just had a blood panel not too long ago and she was good because of some medication she was on , he still questioned how "good" the test was. I told him it was a full work up and her results were great so I doubt she has renal issues. It still felt like he was pressing for the test "just in case " to upcharge me . My dog visits her dr's more then I visit mine. I knew the test was unnessesary. But he finally looked at the test results that were in her charts and agreed that her having renal issues was unlikely. Moving on from that, he went to the back but I still had questions in regards to the new medications , so i was talking to the vet tech about possible symptoms, success rates , and if any other testing was needed while being on the medications and he came in to the room twice to what felt like rushing her because he said a cat needed its blood pressure taken. Ridiculous, definitely wasn't my cup of tea but if it's yours any Dr will do then . The vet techs really saved both experiences for me. They are amazing and compassionate and definitely did not make me feel disregarded or rushed.
Experiencia fantástica: Cindy helped my puppy Ruby and I on our first visit, and she’s my go to if I have any questions. She and Debbie are super sweet to her and it’s very much appreciated. Dr. Johnson is our favorite doctor there. All of the staff is super friendly
Experiencia fantástica: I love this vet! My family’s been coming here for over 30 years and it was my first time back in since I was a kid. The staff is so kind and helpful and Dr. Mark Johnson is wonderful with my dog and gave great guidance for preventative care.
Experiencia negativa: I’ve been taking my pets to town and country for a number of years now, but no way am I bringing them here again. I’ve noticed that in the last couple of years things have changed quite a bit. Rude staff, vets who don’t seem to care about you or your pets, and terrible bedside manner. The only good thing about this place is the receptionist Debbie. She’s always been very accommodating and you can tell she actually cares. That being said, there is one receptionist who is absolutely terrible. She has given me and my partner attitude any time we’ve interacted with her. Dr. Johnson has seen multiple pets of ours and I can tell you he’s never helped us once. First time was when my cat was sick. He had zero answers or suggestions and I left so frustrated. That was nothing compared to last week. Our very healthy dog died unexpectedly during surgery, under his care. As if that wasn’t enough, we got an automated text the day after our beloved dog died that read “congratulations! Here’s (pets name) appointment confirmation.” Talk about a slap in the face. I’d highly advise people to take their pets elsewhere!
Experiencia fantástica: What a pleasant surprise!! This was our first time coming to this clinic. The staff are super knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Our experience with the vet AND the tech was beyond expectations. They both were gentle with our cat and kind. We felt the experience was more about the animal and it's health than money. The vet was very excellent. She listened 100% to what we had to say. There was zero "talking over" our knowledge level or any "superiority" feeling. The plan of care was fully explained to our understanding. We felt the appt was not about minutes but fully caretaking of the cat. Our biggest surprise was the pricing. We were used to (the initials vet clinic) which seemed to be more about getting money out of you than care of the animal AND it is astronomically expensive. We left Town and Country with a bill that was at least half of what we would have been charged at (the initials vet clinic). All in all it was an experience that we will be telling others about. We now have a new vet that we feel so confident about. We highly recommend them for your pet's care.
Experiencia fantástica: Excellent service and knowledgeable vet team. Dr. Choate and Dr. Johnson are very knowledgeable and take their time with you and your pet. CASSIDY is amazing! She answers all my questions and is a pro in getting things done quickly. She's also very kind to my rottie, who's terrified of vets and can be reactive. The vets are fantastic and are able to assess some issues without requiring additional testing (not everything, but they saved me some money in our case). The front desk staff is great too, they will try to get you in last minute if your pet needs urgent assistance. I appreciate their texts about vaccination reminders as well since I'd never remember what and when it's due. Highly recommend, excellent all around :)
Experiencia fantástica: Great vet in Portland. Kind and caring staff that works so hard to take care of our babies!! Rick is the best thing about this place, so ask for him as your tech!!! He is the most kind and caring, our animals adore him. If he ever leaves we will follow him wherever he goes.
Experiencia fantástica: Cindy & Dr Nelson were very thorough. Appt was on time, and payment was done in the exam room, which I prefer. They asked lots of ?'s & we covered everything I had on my list. I've used the same vet for many yrs, but recently felt that my pup wasn't getting the care that she had in the past. That's why we decided to try someone new. I called several places & felt this was the best fit overall, as they cover general care, but T & C is also a hospital, so procedures & more tests can be done at this clinic. Hoping to develop a good working relationship w/them, my dog & me.
Experiencia fantástica: I LOVE this place! All the staff are so friendly and attentive. They pick up the phone call and send us the records or prescription immediately whenever we ask. The clinic is clean, spacious, and despite being on division street, I've never had troubled finding parkings because of the ample parking space they have.
Experiencia negativa: We could have had more time. Let me preface this by saying that Town and Country Animal Hospital is the perfect place to take your pet for vaccines and check ups. They are a small clinic that provides friendly and kind veterinarian services. They are not the place to go if you have serious concerns for your pet. We could have had more time, quality time, with our dog had they done more than just throw medication at his symptoms. He had cancer, we caught it, he was recovering, but had odd symptoms the months after surgery. Three times I went back to them to get more than just nausea pills. They sat on his results for two weeks and by the time we could seek further care it was too late. The quality time we could have had with him while he was still eating was gone. We would have had to put him down no matter what, but the time we could have had before then, that's gone.
Experiencia fantástica: My dog is a new patient and so far, so good! The staff are calm, friendly and put both my dog and I at ease, which is a major feat. There is plenty of parking, the vet didn't try to sell me on extra things and took the time with my dog that was needed. Overall, a really great experience so far.
Experiencia negativa: I've gone here for years and loved the male veterinarian that used to work with my pets and I. But for the past year or so they have been telling me everything with my cat is fine when I suspected something was wrong I took him multiple times and they told me he was fine. After stressing and his symptoms getting worse I took him to another vet and they said his condition was life threatening and he had ear mites which I suggested he had over a year ago and they told me he didn't have them and he just had an ear infection (symptoms were the same even after treatmeant) and I was right it was mites I personally just do not think they pay enough attention and it feels like they're just there for the check and not the safety of our pets.
Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been going to Town and Country Animal Hospital for ten years. I usually see whichever vet is available, as I haven’t had a bad experience with any of them. Of course, some are more compassionate or congenial than others, but the level of care across the board is top notch. I’ve expressed my financial restrictions and they have always been understanding and respectful, I so appreciate that. The office staff has been especially thoughtful and kind over the past few years. A good front end team is worth their weight in gold for clients.
Experiencia fantástica: I went there with my shy poodle. I have never had a problem getting an exam before. When they came in she was barking. They made no fuss about it and gave her some spray cheese and made sure not to traumatize her. They were nothing but sweet to her. The vibe of the whole office is very comfortable. They also gave me advice and a rx for her for future visits to ensure she doesn’t get to wound up. They were thorough on the records I brought in and future preventative care. I felt they heard my concerns and treated my dog with as much patience as she needed. Will def have this as my primary vet from now on.
Experiencia positiva: I called and spoke with Ann. I was calling to schedule an appointment for a friend, I was able to answer all of her questions except who the previous vet was(name/phone). When I asked for an email or fax number & I would call and have the records sent over. She said, "No, I want the name & phone number of the vet." When I worked in a veterinary clinic the client called to have records sent over. I will end on a good note for those with pets & looking for a new clinic, they were able to schedule a week from when we called.
Experiencia fantástica: Our pups have been going to this clinic since they were 9 weeks old...they're 10.5 years old now. Great service, knowledgeable and friendly staff!
Experiencia fantástica: I was looking for a vet that could do a quality of life exam and help decide if it was time to put my sick 18yo cat to sleep. Town and Country was able to get us in same day. Dr Johnson was so kind and gentle to my cat and considerate to me and family. Asking us questions, assessing my cat’s condition, and explaining the diagnosis and prognosis. Reassuring us that the decision was reasonable. They gave us time to process and time with the cat before, during, and after. I appreciated the service and would recommend them.
Experiencia negativa: I’ve never had such unprofessional interactions with a vet, and I have been to a lot of vets. They never tell us how much something is going to cost, so the bill is always a very expensive surprise, usually with things that we didn’t ask for or need. The desk staff and doctor are usually very unpleasant to interact with, the vet techs are nice, but we always leave feeling shamed for how we care for our chronically sick dog, and also like we got scammed into paying for things we didn’t need. If you’re able to get an appointment here, it’s because no body else wants one.
Experiencia fantástica: Town and Country is great! They were able to get me an appointment to see my cat way faster than a lot of other places in town. Deb at the front desk booked my initial appointment. She was friendly and knowledgeable. When I called back days later with follow up questions she had amazing customer service yet again! At my appointment Lauren and Dr. Johnson helped me and my cat. Both were also wonderful. They work quick but thoughtfully. Each took time to answer my questions and address concerns while also not giving me overly complicated answers. I feel very happy about the entire experience and they are priced fairly.
Experiencia negativa: My parents have been using them for their two dogs. The lady who answers the phone has been rude and doesn't seem to care about their dogs at all. The issue is, they are often not able to get in for an appointment for a week or two. While their dog is sick. Instead of consulting a vet, the secretary just was rude and condescending. She then canceled my parents prescriptions because they told her that they needed to find another vet because of the bad customer support. Instead of being concerned or trying to find a solution, this secretary canceled the prescriptions. Be careful with this place. They obviously care more about their "process" and being a bully than they are in your pets welfare. I have never seen a place who is supposed to care about your pets be so heartless.
Experiencia negativa: Initially I loved this office. Then it changed ownership and quality went down hill. I know the vet wrote negative things about me in my pets chart because of things the new vet said to me. Animals need advocates because they cant speak for themselves. When one dog hurt her paw this vet made out like we were just overreacting. Our other dog needed a shot and I thought I was bringing him for the shot but he had a full vet appointment which costs more, after he had been to the emergency vet the very day before because they could not see him. They cant help you when something is urgent, the vet is not nice, at least to people. We switched to a VCA clinic and they have been absolutely lovely with us and our three dogs.
Experiencia fantástica: The vet was simply amazing and extremely caring. I thought that my 7 month old puppy had ingested something that could possibly kill her and after injecting something to make her throw up and going through the vomit looking for anything suspect they didn't find anything but the vet wanted to keep her for 4 or 5 hours for observation, but I didn't have any money. The vet said that they would not charge me for it. After all of that my total bill came to a little over $13 for the injection.
Experiencia negativa: Do not bring your animal here. Dr. Choate misdiagnosed our cat and didn’t treat his bladder blockage which was full. If we didn’t take our cat to a different animal hospital he would’ve died. Please find a different vet I was confused that they didn’t do anything to treat our cat as we brought him in on 2 consecutive days because he was in obvious discomfort only to be told to pick him up and wait for the doctor to contact us in a few days. I let them know that that wasn’t acceptable and the vet tech went back to tell the doctor that I insisted to hear what was happening today. Why would I even have to do that. On top of all this….being able to go inside the office with our cat. Still having to wait in the car for “covid” safety. Give me a break. I don’t trust this place at all and I will never come back here again. Even the vet tech was annoyed with the doctors orders and I truly believe that they lied to us about our cat and what they said they did.
Experiencia negativa: It's been about 6 months since this visit, but I'm looking for a new vet and even seeing this place left me upset all over again. My dog was there for allergies because he'd been biting himself badly. We weren't allowed in because of covid policies, which is fine, but we did take off the cone he was wearing, right when we handed him over. Obviously we wouldn't have done this if we knew they were going to leave him ALONE in the exam room! I don't know how long he was by himself, but it was long enough to absolutely ruin his back. They returned a sad, shaking, bloody dog back to me. Horrified, crying, and wondering how this could get any worse, we were charged for a nail cut we didn't ask for (least of my concerns, but relevant for reviews) AND all the extra care and medication that was required for his injury, even though it happened when they were watching him! I called them the next day because I was so upset, but the doctor was completely unsympathetic, and basically said, well he did it to himself. I get angry every time I see this place. WORST VET EXPERIENCE EVER.
Experiencia negativa: The staff seemed nice over the phone. (Due to Covid restrictions we never went inside or met the vet.) I told them we had just adopted a senior cat and wanted to do a typical checkup; whatever they thought would be necessary. (We also had no records for her either.) They suggested a physical exam, but didn't mention anything about blood work. We had the exam done, and months later we found out she had fleas. I'm mildly upset about this because how do you not check for that in a physical exam. I told them we had just adopted her, so that should have been the first thing they would have done.
Experiencia fantástica: This staff is always helpful. I called multiple times to ask different questions before my pets surgery and they were always so helpful with providing information. They conveniently let me email them pics post op to check her recovery. Dr. Choate is friendly and informative. Dr. Johnson has magic hands bc her incision was barely visible and recovery was fast. They can be a little pricey but worth it. Thank you to the staff for all you do :)
Experiencia negativa: This place used to be worth paying extra (and boy, do you pay!) One of their great veterinarians left. His replacement is very snippy, rude and uninformative. Won't answer questions and has a condescending tone. The front desk used to be fairly amicable, but since getting this new veterinarian about a year ago, the attitude of everyone we speak to here leaves much to be desired.. There had been a couple of instances of the office calling me telling us we missed an appointment I thought was a week or two in the future or a completely different time. I figured it was my mistake. The final straw was showing up for one appointment only to be told that my appointment was in the afternoon on day of the week that I work. I would've never made that appointment. If you can't even get your scheduling right, your services are no longer worth the exorbitant prices you charge. Going with VCA now. 1/3-1/2 of the price of this dump and everyone manages to be friendly, responsive and competent at their jobs.
Experiencia fantástica: My daughter recommended Town and Country to us for our animals. At the time we had been taking them to a larger chain type vet clinic where the care was okay but quite expensive and impersonal. I was pleasantly surprised at our first visit by the friendliness of the staff, the professionalism and courtesy of the vet, and the quite reasonable prices (which were about half what the other vet had been charging us). Since that visit one of our dogs had a major surgery to remove a tumor and the staff did a wonderful job with being responsive to my needs in the days following the surgery and the aftercare needed when complications arose with my dog stopping eating. We also had both of our dogs teeth cleaned and extractions done and the cost was half what the other vet had quoted us for the work. Every time we have had to go in the front desk staff, the vet techs, and the vets are all friendly, courteous, seem to remember our animals. So if you like a personal touch, professionalism, quality care, all at a great price this is the place for you.
Experiencia fantástica: Supportive, responsive, and intuitive to client needs and emotions. We moved to SE Portland from NoPo a little over a year ago and switched vets to something closer to our new neighborhood. I am SO glad we chose this place. They supported us through our 19 year old cats last year, and were super kind and compassionate with his care through his many visits receiving fluids, regular care, etc. They were honest with us as he neared the end of his life, but also kind and caring with the way they presented information and options to us. They also made time and space for us when we needed to get both our pets in quickly. I don't think I could recommend a vet more.
Experiencia fantástica: My family loves Town and Country Animal Hospital, but we especially love Dr. Choate! She's the first vet to correctly diagnose our cat's chronic eye condition (after nearly 6 years of going to different vets!), which has helped us manage his health much more effectively. I am also grateful to the front desk staff, who are always so kind and patient. I'm glad to know that our family's pets are in fantastic hands whenever they're seen at Town and Country.
Experiencia fantástica: The doctors are amazing! They take such good care of all their 4 legged clients. All staff members are pleasant, kind, and knowledgeable . Thank you for taking such good care of our fur babies past and present.
Experiencia fantástica: When my never-sick dog became ill, this was one of the few vets with new patient appointments who was willing to work with us. Every appointment with Dr.Choate, she was communicative, clear and flexible. Her staff were so caring and loving. She made every effort to help save my dog but was also honest when there wasn’t anything else we could do. Through the process of putting my pup down, she was consoling, explanatory and kind. Since then I’ve received kind cards from her office and I got a card over a month later that a contribution was made to a charity in My pup’s name. For the last few months of my dogs life and after, I felt so supported and can’t recommend this clinic enough. While my story didn’t have a happy ending, I was still cared for every step of the way. When I’m ready for another pet, we’ll be coming back here.
Experiencia fantástica: First time pet owner here who recenty came into possession of a 4 month old German Shepherd with no real history or knowing anything about the beautiful and goofy animal. I could see though that she had some issues, so I started looking up vets and I am so thankful for stumbling across Town and Country!!! They were able to get us in within only a few days and they were upfront and honest about their costs and what might be needed. They were very professional towards me and very sweet and caring towards my lil Babi girl!!! The vet answered all of my questions and addressed all of my daughters (14 year old) fears about what the puppy might have been through previous to becoming a member of our family, and what effects it might have on her physical and mental/emotional health in the future. They provided all the necessary care the lil lady required, gave me detailed instructions on how to continue her treatments at home, and explained what all is to be expected now, and over the next year with her. I left feeling a whole lot better about our decision to keep this precious little girl, and if I had any reservations before, I certainly do not at this point, thanks in-part to the wonderful staff at Town and Country. I would definitely reccomend!!!
Experiencia fantástica: I needed a vet who could work alongside the oncologist for my pup. They were compassionate and understanding every step of the way. Sadly the cancer was too aggressive and unresponsive to treatment so I had to say goodbye to my best friend. I was terrified that with the COVID-19 protocols I would have to drop him off and never see him again. Fortunately this wasn't the case. The day I had to euthanize Phoenix two staff members came out to my car with a stretcher (because his back legs had stopped working days before) and carried him inside while gently reassuring him. They allowed me to be inside with him to comfort him (and me) in his passing. He was calm enough that he actually ate treats for the first time at a vets office. The Veterinarian and Technician were both very kind and professional. It's impossible to say goodbye to a beloved pet, but at least here they care enough to help.
We are so grateful to be here for you and your pets! Thank you so much!
Experiencia fantástica: This Animal Hospital is great. I had to get two cats "fixed" and neither appointment took weeks to schedule out for. The Staff is professional and very attentive to you and your pets needs. I have to choose a new Vet for my pets and I wanted a place that I could trust and could building a lasting relationship with. The Vet is clear in his advice and having only spoken to him (due to Covid restrictions) by phone he gave me confidence that I chose the right place to take my Fur Babies to. I cannot say a bad thing about this place. The prices are good and reasonable. I recommend this Animal Hospital to anyone who loves his or her pets. This place cares about them too.
Thank you Tina! We are so happy we could get your pets care!
Experiencia positiva: We have 3 dogs. We've been visiting Town & Country for 2 years. They are a great vet! We've had mostly positive experiences. Our fur babies don't mind the staff & we always appreciate the care they give our pups!
Experiencia fantástica: Town and County is the best veterinary clinic I have ever used. They offer skilled and compassionate care in a family environment including an amazing front desk staff, technicians and doctors. I bring all my pets there and they even recently helped me with a friend's cats. I trust them wholeheartedly. As an added bonus they are financially accessible and conscious of charges when providing care. Thank you for all you do!
Experiencia fantástica: My cat had an emergency and was able to drop off and get treatment same day. Very professional and caring staff and docs. Also called the next day to see how my cat was doing afterwards. Affordable and reliable. Taking both animals there now from here on out. Thank you so much for taking care of Ocean! Appreciate all of you
Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love Town and Country Animal Hospital. They have available appointments regularly, they are so good with my pups, and every person who works there clearly loves animals. The techs and doctors both have tons of knowledge and always work with me to make sure we get a good plan in place no matter what the issue might be. I especially love that they also offer boarding - I *know* I can trust them to take good care of my babies while I'm somewhere that doesn't have fences. I can't imagine going anywhere else for my dogs' treatment, and, honestly, I won't. I am so grateful that each member of the team treats my girls as if they were their own. Thank you!
Experiencia fantástica: Town and Country Animal Hospital is new to me. They came highly recommended from people I know that take their pets there. I was very satisfied with the first visit for my senior dog. They asked me if I had any concerns about me dog, I asked them if they could look at a couple of things and they did. They did a nose to tail examine including blood work to see if he was able to have dental work done. They were very thorough and confirmed he would be able to have the dental procedure he needs I was so comfortable with them I made the appointment for the dental work. They were very patient with me asking so many questions, they answered them truthfully. I am glad I made the right decision to change clinics, for my dogs health care. Looking forward to continued care with Town and Country Animal Hospital for my pets needs.
Experiencia fantástica: We waited in our car with each pet for the scheduled appointment. We called them on their landline to indicate we were there, and a technician came out to receive our paperwork, if necessary, and our pet. Via phone call my husband discussed what was necessary to administer vaccinations to one of our dogs, and then to evaluate our new rescue kitty. Each time the vet review seemed very thorough and complete, as was discussed via phone. We are changing over from SE Animal Hospital, since they have become so isolated. This is also a much better financial value!!! We will be bringing our other two pets for their vaccinations and checkups soon!!
Experiencia fantástica: The staff was wonderful.. My dog was just neutered. And I think I was more nervous than my dog was . The lady on the phone was so nice and insured me that my dog was going to be just fine. They took very good care of Vader even though I had warned them that he was a very very hyper dog I would recommend Town, Country to anyone that is looking for quality care
Experiencia negativa: If I could give zero stars at this point I would. This place has really gone down hill. I don’t know if it has been all of the issues presented by Covid or what, but aside from Dr. Andrews who is apparently now gone, there is nothing redeemable about this location. The front staff is rude and argumentative. I was initially told by front staff that my cat’s last appointment would be my last with Dr. Andrews, as he was retiring. I expressed sadness and thanked Dr. Andrews for all of his wonderful care with my difficult to diagnose/treat anxious pup, and my concerns over my 16 year/old cat who’d always been healthy. Dr. Andrews informed at that time that he was actually just taking a few weeks break, but would be back on Fridays and could see me after his break if needed. I was so excited & clarified that I would be able to speak with him and make appointments (though only once a week which concerned me). It at least gave me time to find another vet as I was sure I would have a hard time fitting into his schedule. Frankly, without him there I was no longer willing to put up with the attitude I would receive from his front staff practically every single time I called. It was as if I was asking them to personally give me a piece of something they valued each and every time I called. Earlier this week, after trying to collect urine unsuccessfully from my ailing cat, I requested to speak with Dr. Andrews. OMG! I may as well have been asking them for blood. I was then told that he was only there once a week for surgeries, and would not be seeing clients or take calls. Concerned as this was not the information he himself told, I requested that he call me. The young lady that I spoke with told me she’d be happy to pass on the message to one of the other vets. I informed her that I needed to speak with Dr. Andrews. I figured I could at least speak with him one last time, as to the best way to help my kitty who most likely does have kidney disease. The medication regimen completed for blood in his urine had not made him better, and he was actually declining. Today, I was called by the office manager. When I returned the call, she was not in, but I was informed that during a staff meeting they’d all decided I should not return to their clinic. Really??? Because there is miscommunication between the front, what the vet said, and my concern for what to do next Wow, all I can say is wow. I am happy to go elsewhere, but did not want to do so in the middle of a pandemic. How will I pick out my next vet without being able to meet her/him in person. Not to mention my cat is literally in the middle of a diagnosis and my dog is under care for anxiety & knee joint concerns. I hope they at least have the decency to provide refills for my dog. Outrageous! DO NOT GO HERE if you appreciate or value any type of consistent communication by the staff as a whole, or if you’d like to be treated with care and concern for your pets.
Experiencia fantástica: My dog is very nervous at the vet but the technician who takes him in has been taking time trying to make him as comfortable as possible during his visits. She sits with him, pets him and does her best to make sure he isn’t too anxious before they begin. The staff here are truly excellent and they go above and beyond. Thank you for all you do!
Experiencia fantástica: Friendly staff that makes me feel like my old pittie is always taken care of the best. They are fast even with covid restrictions. The best experience I've had at many animal clinics. Cant say enough nice things about them. Thank you for loving my pet as much as I do!mia thanks you.
Experiencia fantástica: Incredibly compassionate, kind, and professional staff. Everyone I've ever spoken with or interacted with has been nothing short of amazing! Highly recommend!! You can tell the staff truly cares about the well-being of every pet (and the caretakers too).
Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been taking my dog here for a few years and I’ve always had a great experience. I recently adopted a puppy, she’s had all her shots done here and they clipped her nails when I asked them to as well. They’re very helpful and eager to answer questions, and have been very covid safe and conscious. Their lobby is closed but you park in their parking lot and they come out and get your pet for you, and the vet or vet tech calls you from inside to talk/ask and answer questions etc. Then they bring your dog out and take payment over the phone. Very progressional and smooth process! I’ll be bringing both my dogs here for the foreseeable future!
Experiencia fantástica: I want to thank Dr. Andrew for helping me make the hardest decision to let my baby girl angel cross over the rainbow bridge. I had her for almost 12 years. Dr. Andrew operated on her when she was three months old to remove a kidney. She lived for 11 years with one kidney and then she came down with bladder stones and I had to have them removed, a day or so after the surgery she was having problems and her kidney started shutting down so he help me make the decision to let her go Dr. Andrew is a great veterinarian. RIPMy fur baby.
We are so thankful to have been there for you and Angel. We are so sorry for your loss.
Experiencia negativa: I have been going to Town & Country animal hospital for over a decade (even when I moved away from the area). I have always had wonderful and responsive service for each of my animals. However, the last several months, something has changed and not for the best. On more than one occasion, I am overcharged for services I did not approve, and not consulted on prior. Most recently, I was charged an exam fee for just an ear trim (A total of $109.00 just to pluck ear hair). Shortly after, when my 5 month old puppy was sick, I was assured I would get a call back with advice, that did not happen. When I called the next day to get some assistance the new office manager said she forgot to even tell a Dr. and would have someone reach out ASAP. That did not happen. A simple request to phone in a refill prescription is even ignored. While I have been loyal for a long time, I would not recommend doing business with them at all - due to the recent change in staff and policies - the quality of care and the lack of transparency with fees and the overcharging of services not even requested.
Dear Amber, we regret that we didn't meet your expectations as we strive to do. I hope we can connect soon about this matter. Please give me a call back at your convenience and ask for Brooke.
Experiencia fantástica: I take both my dog and cat here, and I've had very positive experiences. I started going to them during COVID, which means I can't go inside with my animals, but everyone here has taken as much time as I need to discuss my concerns, and everyone has been incredibly kind and compassionate. My dog got sick a little while back, and I was incredibly concerned and stressed out, and not only was the staff incredibly understanding toward me, but they really went out of their ways to make my dog comfortable and happy. They even gave her a squeaky toy, and had me bring it home after her appointment. They are also not unreasonably priced!
Thank you so much for your kind review! We really appreciate it, thank you!
Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Andrews was so very compassionate and listened carefully to my doggie issues. The staff was also attentive and so pleasant. I highly recommend this practice. I have had many dogs over the past 40 years and must say this veterinarian was one of the best I have ever been to.
Hi Janice,
We are so happy you have found and stuck with us for your fur babies care. We appreciate all the kind feedback and look forward to future visits.
Experiencia fantástica: After a very scary day I took Zoe in to my vet to find out she has a temporary condition that causes her to be very off balance with odd movement to her eyes. After a very thorough exam and an extremely caring staff 2 videos and an additional conversation with a relatively new vet we had an answer. Never did I feel rushed and as usual the care given is top notch. To top off the process this was all affordable. I have used this vet clinic for many years and this last visit will keep me coming back. I trust all the care of my pets to Town and country, Dr Michael Andrews and his staff including Dr Lisa Mahlum..
Experiencia fantástica: I recently adopted a cat and needed to get its final round of shots. They were able to take us in quickly. They also were extremely professional and friendly. I am happy that my new pet will be cared for by them for years to come.
Experiencia fantástica: We started coming to this animal hospital after my original vet didn’t have an open appointment. From the moment we arrived, everyone we encountered were extremely nice, caring, helpful, and honest. I’ve been to many vets in the past who recommended a bunch of unnecessary tests just to just run up the bill. Well, this clinic is definitely not like that at all. Instead, they give recommendations that help your pet get well and charge a reasonable amount. Last time I was there, my car battery died and one of their staff members tried helping me jump my car, and kept checking on me while I had to wait for AAA. This is a top notch clinic and am so grateful I found them and that it’s only 15 minutes away.
Experiencia fantástica: I have only good things to say about my experience here. They were extremely friendly and prompt. My cat Lucy was very calm for the doctor which is rare. They must have had the right touch or something. This will definitely be my regular vet moving forward.
Experiencia fantástica: We have been with Town & Country for over 20 years. The staff consistently provides our pets with personalized and compassionate care. Their clinic is always clean and orderly. The staff is very willing to help and take the time to make sure you understand what is happening to your pet. They will follow-up with a phone call the following day after your pet has had a procedure to ensure that everything is going well in the healing process. Since we have been with them for so long, we feel that they are a part of our family when it comes to our pets. They truly care.
Experiencia fantástica: Best place in Portland I say for the price and I've looked everywhere out here for the best prices. They're so friendly and they communicate so well. There's curbside care during the covid pandemic. And my dog Zeus seems to only take a liking to the people here compared to anywhere else.
