Experiencia negativa: Overall bad experience. My dog passed away due to being rejected for care. It was only $1400 for an X-RAY and blood. Middle of the night, scared, and knew this was it for my dog Pepper. We were part of the government shutdown. We wanted to make payments, but at that moment Karna was maxed. Etc. The vet said no. The next day we had to put my dog to sleep. No medication was sent home. We were left stranded with a dog that needed urgent care. She said my dog was fine. It was clear my dog wasn’t. We cried deep for help, but the doctor couldn’t looked at us. She was cold, emotionless, robotic, and just didn’t care. Unfortunately, when we think of my dog's death. We think of that doctor and how she rejected our dog over little money. 6 days later the government opened, and we got our back pay. All that money but a dead dog. There should be a law against this. Even though my dog might have had the same outcome. She deserved better. She deserved to not be rejected. This has scarred us deeply. My mom was hospitalized over the death of our dog, and we are still mourning over her. It took me a while to write this review because it hurts how a pet doctor can reject a dog in need for a little bit of money, and we left knowing this was it. We had no other family and we expressed this to the doctor. My grandmother was murdered and the rest died of cancer. My mom was even diagnosed with breast cancer. The doctor didn’t want to hear any of that. No money, no help. We left just like we walked in. Scared, and no answer’s. No help from anyone. My dog cried and suffered all night. Having seizure after seizure. It’s one of the worst experiences we ever encountered with a vet doctor. Pepper was our family. This was unacceptable. Putting your dog to sleep without knowing what she had is the worse feeling ever. DO NOT RESPOND BACK WITH SORRY! IT MEANS NOTHING!!!! OR AN EXCUSE.

Experiencia fantástica: Dora and I had a phenomenal experience ✨. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly courteous. I don't recall the name of the young woman at the front (doing our intake), but she was so patient and empathetic while I was stressed out trying to remember Dora’s birthday! The two nurses who handled Dora’s sedation were pivotal; they took her into their arms as if she were their own pup . Dr. Andrew Kurowski also kept me informed every step of the way. Even though he was rightfully busy with more critical patients, he still made time for updates and belly rubs for Dora. We received white-glove service, which is exactly why we trust VEG. 10/10 tail wags!

Experiencia fantástica: Back in December my oldest cat Bubba had stopped eating and was losing weight and was so tough. I went to VEG Chandler on 12/15/2025. We got right in and the team was great. I was helped by Dr Andrew Kurowski. He had the best nurses and they all were so gentle, helpful and timely. I was told by the doctor he most likely had cancer and more tests could be run. He did say it could not be certain he would get better. I was afraid of that. Bubba was so calm the whole time he was there. I decided to bring him home. He stayed the same and ate just a little a few days later. On Friday 12/19/2025. I had to work that day and he waited for me to get home and be by his side as he crossed the Rainbow Bridge! It was peaceful and sad. He was such an amazing cat and the 10 years and 5 months were great. I know he’s with his older siblings in heaven. Thanks to the team at VEG for such great care. I even got a text later the day I was there asking how he was. I would highly recommend you utilize them if you have an emergency and need great care.

Experiencia fantástica: If your fur baby has an emergency, do not hesitate to bring them there! We were seen immediately and I was able to stay with my girl the whole time we were there- easing her anxiety significantly. The staff was attentive and compassionate. She is still recovering from idiopathic vestibular disease but thanks to Dr. Troye, Vanessa, and the staff we are hopeful. If any of my animals need immediate care, we will be back in a heartbeat. Experiencia fantástica: AMAZING CARE from every single person here! We first called after our cat was stung by a bee on her bottom “lip” for a lack of better terms. The vet on the phone said she sounded like she’d be okay, but after an hour my son asked us to take her anyways. Another vet refused to give us any advice over the phone, so thank you immensely. The care in the vet was just as amazing, they handled our scared baby like their own. They removed the bee stinger and gave her some medicine to help prevent an allergic reaction. Even after she had an accident all over a tech, they still happily helped. Our baby is home safe now w our son, and we’ll be resting peacefully this evening thanks to you guys ❤️ we cannot thank you guys enough!

During the sedation process she knew I was there and that helped both of us. Most vets take pets to the back and they don't know what's happening. Experiencia fantástica: I've had to come here twice for my girl, once for her original problems and to help her pass. I wish so much I could've met these wonderful people under better circumstances. Everyone is so compassionate and kind, they really made a terrible situation i found myself in with my dog as best an experience as possible both times. These people care and it shows. Neither times did I wait long for her to be seen but the entire process is about the average er visit length but it doesnt seem so bad here at least. If you ever find yourself in need of emergency pet care, I cannot recommend this place enough.

Experiencia fantástica: This emergency vet is the most amazing place I’ve ever taken any of my animals. From the moment I walked in that door they all were extremely attentive and kind. I had my dog in for what I thought was a UTI. The vet assessing my dog noticed she had a fever and explained to me in depth all the steps she would need in her care plan along with full transparency as to why and how much it would cost BEFORE doing anything. She explained it with so much detail and answered all of my questions so kindly. The end results with my dog were not good and they helped me through every step of the way with so much compassion. I love that we are with our pets every step of the way in the facility during their care. This creates ease for not only our dog but also us as their owners. I could not recommend this place more!!!! Incredible staff. Incredible service. All around the best experience even though the results were not what we anticipated.

Experiencia fantástica: My cat was diagnosed with acute kidney failure after work from what I thought was just a stomach bug. The dr offered the couch/pullout bed in the patient room to be able to process the info Within 24hrs she had gotten significantly worse and I had to have her euthenised. I had friends and family with me but still greatly needed the final time I had with my cat, and didn't feel rushed at all through the process

Experiencia negativa: NOT GUINEA PIG OR EXOTICS FRIENDLY ANYMORE. I was immediately referred to an exotic vet, but since I have had my cavies treated here in the past I opted to stay hoping to get some simple blood work done on my piggie(suspected ear infection/renal failure). I was told that they use AI to do bloodwork, and I have since seen other accusations they use AI to diagnose pets. The Dr that saw my guinea pig couldn't even take my piggie's temperature correctly. I was then told that I can't have just blood work done, or have the bloodwork (then possibly xrays) done in the order I wanted. I then declined those services, and was again told to go to an exotics vet. During discharge, I was asked if I wanted IV fluids and pain meds for my pet. I declined. I did have to pay $190 for an incorrectly done temperature and what probably amounted to 30 minutes in a room. I am honestly so disappointed. I brought my pets here for two years prior to this and I always left feeling that my pets were cared for. We even had our sweet Lily (guinea pig) put to sleep here. I will not be back- and I urge you to keep your exotics away from this practice.

While we care for many species, including exotics, there are certain complex or specialized cases where an exotic-focused veterinarian may be the most appropriate recommendation to ensure a pet receives the highest level of species-specific care. That recommendation is always made with the pet’s best interest in mind.
Regarding diagnostics, our doctors make medical decisions based on their training, examination findings, and diagnostic results. Some laboratory equipment in modern veterinary medicine uses advanced technology to analyze samples, but all interpretation and treatment decisions are made by licensed veterinarians.
We’re also sorry that the visit felt frustrating in terms of diagnostic options and order of testing. In emergency medicine, our doctors recommend diagnostics based on what is medically appropriate and safest for the patient, which may not always align with a preferred sequence. Our goal is always to provide care that gives pets the best possible outcome.

Experiencia fantástica: i brought in my ferret about a month ago and the staff here had treated him so kindly when Phoenixs location refused to see him cause one of their staff was allergic (even though it says they treat ferrets on their website). The cost honestly wasn’t bad, just ask for an itemized bill and have an understanding of what’s up with your baby. My ferret was extremely fatigued, wasn’t eating or drinking, and had blood in his diarrhea. The 5 hour wait honestly went by super quickly and I got to be with my baby the whole time, they gave him a free ultrasound (I assume someone was learning and I didn’t mind offering a new learning experience even though it was 4 AM atp), and overall the staff was just amazing and friendly people. They sent me home with a list of things I could get from the store to give him nutrients and water, and they gave us antibiotics. Within two weeks he was 100% better! They are amazing people, and I’ve seen people complain about cost, but you must understand that this is an ER, they will charge an extra fee because it’s an emergency (like a hospital usually will) and they already have so much going on with so many different types of pets. Vets are expensive, but asking for an itemized bill and working with them to figure out the problem will make it cheaper. I know it’s hard, but you must stay calm under this stress, and their atmosphere and kind demeanor’s definitely helped me calm down.

Experiencia fantástica: 5 stars is nowhere near enough.... This place is unbelievable. The Staff and Doctors were extremely professional, very friendly, and really cared about their clients. They saved my pitbull female with an emergency hysterectomy. She had an infected uterus. They had to remove it. They called me 3 times and texted me twice to keep me up on my dogs progress. Experiencia fantástica: i went in tues night with my skinny pig i just received that had started bleeding and i can’t say enough amazing things about the staff! from the front desk, to the nurses, to the doctors everyone there was so sweet and accommodating. they were the only place that would even see my skinny pig and they were all so caring and answered every question i had. they even allowed us in the treatment area where we could be there while she was being worked on. instead of guessing the doctor let us know he was a little unsure and consulted his colleagues to ensure she got the best of care. i’d recommend to anyone and everyone. this place is seriously so amazing!!

Experiencia fantástica: The staff at VEG Chandler is just amazing. I loved being able to watch the activity and all the pets. In most vets offices, the staff disappears when they go to take care of another animal and you don’t know what they’re doing but at VEG, I knew that my vet and the nurses and the technicians were all busy and taking care of pets that really needed their help. In fact, at one point, a dog was brought in that was unconscious, and the staff immediately jumped to try to revive him with CPR and did everything they could to save him. Unfortunately, he had been gone for too long. It was heartbreaking and hard to see, but everyone was just amazing. I was thoroughly impressed and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

This was one of the scariest moments we have ever faced with our pet, and Dr. Soto took the time to clearly explain all of the information being presented to us. Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend VEG. My cat suddenly vomited in the morning in a way I had never seen before. Since it was Sunday, our regular veterinarian was closed, so we decided to take her to the VEG. Looking back now, the symptoms were mild enough that we could have monitored her at home a bit longer, but we jumped to conclusions and panicked. It was our first time going to an emergency clinic, but the staff and veterinarians were all very kind, calm, and friendly. Since English is my second language and I was panicking, I wasn't able to explain things very well, but I felt they listened to me patiently. Fortunately, the cat only vomited once, and they recommended we monitor her at home, which we did. I was also impressed that they didn't push any unnecessary treatments on us. The emergency room on Sunday morning seemed busy. Despite bringing in a cat with non-urgent symptoms in the midst of all that, I'm grateful to everyone who treated us kindly without being dismissive. Experiencia fantástica: Wow. Firstly for emergency medicine their prices are very fair. About 650 for exam, vomit induction, and fluids. But what blew me away was the staff. I truly believe every single person working truly cared about the well being of every animal that came trough the doors. I mentioned off handedly to the tech that humming calmed my dog down and they immediately started humming while holding him. You could see how much it put him at ease. For me that was really going the extra mile.

They picked up the phone immediately when I was having trouble taking a bandage off of my dog that was recovering from surgery and aggressive and told me they could take care of it. Experiencia negativa: Unprofessional, waited for hours just for them to discriminate against our pitbull. Continuously dismissed and overlooked and told if any other dog had a worst case they will be seen first before ours, while my dogs eye is buldging out her skull, another dog was seen to get ibuprofen. Finally noticed our dog was the only pitbull in the lobby and others peoples animals were seen right away and taken back for treatment. Never even offered ibuprofen for our dog.

Experiencia negativa: I had to resort to an emergency vet after Adobe in Mesa took all my money and sent my cat away worse than before, gasping for air literally dying. VEG told me over the phone that they take payment plans and if I didn't qualify they could still help. This cat was literally all I had left and I was willing to do anything to save her. I got there and they proceeded to take their time and wait on treating my kitty while I applied for payment plans. Within an hour my baby tired of trying to breathe and passed away when apparently all they had to do was intubate her long enough to give medicine for an arrhythmia. It may not have saved her but it was the only chance I had. I was told they would help me but they chose to make securing the money their priority over my kitty's life. Also, maybe she would have lived longer if they didn't do everything they could to stress her out. If a cat has a heart condition with history of hyperthyroidism, you should know that the heart is extremely sensitive to adrenaline and stress. I can't forgive myself for taking her there and all the pain and stress she went through just trying to breathe and being poked and her mouth pulled open painfully wide and phone light shone in her face. I could've just held her in my arms if I knew the next hour was going to be a scary and painful death due to no urgency in starting treatment. I don't understand why I was told they can still help her if payment plans are denied. I would never have come in if I wasn't told this. Now I have to live without my only friend and the guilt and regret of what her last hours were. She was literally all I had left and they seemed to care when I told them this, but I was proven wrong

Experiencia positiva: I unfortunately had to take my dog here for an internal bleed the staff was quick helpful and kind. They located the bleed and there wasn't anything I was able to do and I had to let my sweet boy go.. the private room was nice and had lots of keepsakes to choose from. I do wish I was able to pay before he was put to sleep rather then after and the main reason for the deduction is because the tech continuously let me know she'd get my boy "packaged up" for me it which I just didn't appreciate it as he's not just some package. I let it pass but the more she used the phrase the more bothersome I became. Just paying close attention to some wording makes a huge difference. Other than that everyone else was great.

Experiencia fantástica: My small dog got into a scuffle with another dog and ended up with a pretty bad eye injury. None of our local vets would see her same day and with how quickly the issue progressed I didn’t have time to make and wait for an appointment. One vet referred us to VEG and I am beyond happy with how they operate. I am not easily impressed, but their staff is like a well oiled machine and the care they demonstrate was absolutely perfect. They were nonstop the whole time we were there but every animal brought in was completely calm which I have never seen at a typical veterinary office. The only unfortunate aspect is that they only take emergency cases, so I am stile shopping for a good routine care vet, lol. Experiencia fantástica: Our dog developed redness in both eyes unexpectedly and from the first phone call to the final discharge - I cannot recommend VEG more! To start, it's unlike any clinics I have been to - it's "open concept" so you never leave your pet's side and you are able to see "in real time" what/how they are caring for the others ahead of you/in the same large room. Every staff member treated us and our dog like family, especially our doctor, Dr. Soto and our nurse Colette - both were kind, too their time, and very knowledgeable! Dr. Murphy, the Medical Director also took the time to interact with us (despite a busy holiday) making us feel seen/valued/loved. And, the resources/diagnostics were unparalleled! When I arrived with my 15.8-year-old Yorkshire, who was very sick, they took her in immediately. There was no hesitation—only urgency, care, and empathy. The veterinary team thoroughly examined her and gently walked me through what they were seeing. When they had to deliver the devastating news that she had a large tumor in her stomach and that euthanasia was the kindest option, they did so with honesty, tenderness, and deep compassion. What meant the most to me was how much space and time they gave me. They brought us into one of their comfort rooms and allowed me as long as I needed to hold my baby, love on her, and say my final goodbye without ever feeling rushed. In that room, I felt supported, respected, and understood during unimaginable grief. The entire staff—from the veterinarians to the technicians and front desk—was incredibly compassionate and supportive. They explained the entire process step by step so I knew exactly what to expect, which brought a small sense of peace during overwhelming heartbreak. They also gently guided me through the cremation process and helped me choose an urn for my baby, handling everything with care and sensitivity. Losing a pet is losing a family member, and Veterinary Emergency Group treated my sweet girl—and me—with the love and respect that reflects that truth. I cannot thank them enough for helping my baby pass with dignity and for holding space for me during one of the most painful moments of my life. I will never forget their kindness.

Experiencia fantástica: I hope you never have to take your little one to the emergency vet, but if you were in need of one - I could not recommend VEG enough. We had to spend two nights there while my little one was hospitalized and they offered a room with a bed so I could be with my little one while they monitor him on the hour. They went above and beyond to take care of my little guy, but also took care of me as well. They really advocated for him and made sure when he was safe enough to get discharged, we were sent home everything we needed from extra canned food, an extra script for meds to Costco where we would save money, resources and contacts to where we need to go next. All of the vets, vet techs, nurses and the front desk team were kind, compassionate and attentive. I highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Visiting the ER with your pet is always scary, and it’s easy to worry about the cost—especially when so many places charge outrageous prices. But Vet ER for Pet was incredible in every possible way. From the front desk to the vets and nurses, every single person was friendly, compassionate, and informative. I couldn’t imagine taking my dog anywhere else in an emergency. The moment I walked in, multiple vets and nurses immediately came over to make sure my dog, Peanut, was okay. He was examined right away, and the check-in process was so smooth it barely felt like we were checking in at all. The clinic itself deserves an award. It’s completely open, allowing you to be right there with the vet while they care for your pet—something I never expected to experience in an emergency setting. I was able to stay with my little guy the entire time, even during his procedure, which brought me so much comfort. And if your dog or cat isn’t the friendliest, they have private rooms available too. One thing that truly amazed me is that they see any animal that walks. They even told me they’ve treated a calf before! The only pets they don’t see are primates due to human health risks, but all exotic animals are welcome. As someone who has a tortoise, it was such a relief to learn that we wouldn’t need a special exotic vet in an emergency—Vet ER for Pet has us covered. On top of the amazing care, they worked with me to find the best treatment plan that fit my budget. Truly, this place is like nothing I’ve ever seen. Vet ER for Pet goes above and beyond, and I’m so grateful for the incredible care they gave Peanut.

Experiencia negativa: My cat blicket was seen by signal butte animal hospital for over ten years of his life where he was misdiagnosed, and we were told he needed an emergency stomach surgery that would cost over six thousand dollars, and we were told it had to happen immediately, we had no time to plan or prepare.We rushed him to dotbson animal hospital where he had a surgery.And we were told there was no reason for him to have the surgery.There was no blockage, no cutting, nothing was wrong with him.And when they realized they had made a mistake and misdiagnosed him, they still charged us the six thousand dollars for the surgery, even though they were completely in the wrong, and had made a gross mistake that could have resulted in the death of my senior cat who was eighteen years old at the time. this is a disgusting and horrible company who doesn't need to be open any longer.Do not give them your money, do not give them your animal.Take your animal somewhere where they will be safe.They will butcher your animal.His scars were horrendous. they do not care for your animal.They will misdiagnose.They will charge you your entire lifesavings.And they will not be remorseful when they have done this wrongfully. they are thieves. Dodson animal hospital... do not remove this review again.I am an actual patient and customer, and my story deserves to be heard.If you remove my review, I will go to the better business bureau... Experiencia fantástica: If you are needing an ER vet for your pet, this is the place to go. Everyone at VEG was absolutely amazing. We were greeted by the sweetest front desk staff that got us checked in the min. we walked through the door. We were taken back to a space where my dog felt the most comfortable. I was offered snacks and water, and the nurses/vet techs were all so caring. Dr. Kate Garner was very knowledgeable, very kind, and so gentle with my dog that was in a lot of pain. I would HIGHLY recommend VEG and every single staff member there made our visit there very nice. And I love that you get to be by your pets side the entire time

I kept coming back because I hoped things would get better with certain doctors. It’s close to my home. The ER doctors are harsh, nippy, and rude. The waiting time for us was long. The care was not enough. I walked out confused. I’m not sure how people think this is a great place. Maybe they’re rich. Oh! If you spend a lot of money, you’re treated better than those who have to pick and choose within their budget. Fake personalities. Reading reviews. I feel bad for those animals denied medical care for their animals based off money. They bring their animal there because it's an emergency, only to get rejected. A place to claim they love animals. My heart goes out to those whose pet died as a result of being rejected. I'm glad my dog is still alive. I couldn't imagine.

Experiencia fantástica: WOW is all I can really say!! It's so cool that family gets to be with their pet for (almost) everything when they go back. It's mostly one big open triage room where family can be there, see what's being done, & sit there with their pet while waiting for tests, etc.. no cold sterile patient rooms where they tuck you away like a traditional vet or animal hospital. If your pet needs to stay, you have 24/7 access to your pet. They even have a couple rooms where you can stay here with your fur baby. I brought my Husky in with Ketoacidosis & she needed ICU care. They offered me an available room with a bed to sleep on, small couch, & my furry little girl didn't have to be in a kennel. She had free roam of the room with me throughout treatment. I spent several hours sleeping on the floor with her so I could keep her calm & reassured between all the changes. This is how ALL animal hospitals should be, what an awesome approach to your pets health & well being! And of course the staff is attentive & excellent! A+++ facility!!

My dog, a wonderful boy who is also kind of a dumbass, swallowed a popsicle, stick and all, that my toddler dropped on the floor last night. I called VEG and spoke to a vet who advised us to come right in. Everyone from the front desk folks to the vet techs to the veterinarian were super kind and compassionate in their care. My dog is also super anxious and not very cooperative at the vet, but that did not deter the team in making sure he got the correct care. They worked with us to make sure what needed to be done still got done. An hour or so later, my dog was stick-free and ready to go home. I am so happy that I called VEG last night. Their professionalism and compassion were exactly what you want during a scary situation. 100% recommend them! (Ziggy might not say the same, but he’s the ding dong who sucked down a popsicle stick whole, so his opinion doesn’t count)

I was immediately brought tissues without asking, and was offered water or snacks often. The staff was extremely attentive, compassionate and knowledgeable. Experiencia negativa: I wouldn’t really recommend to other pet owners. My cat came in with dog bite wounds that weren’t very severe. Was sent home with pain management and stitches. We returned because the stitches got pulled out the next morning. We were advised not to get the stitches replaced and they administered more pain meds. After that her wound grew significantly to the point where her entire abdomen was mangled and, exposed and literally hanging off of her body. Went to a different emergency clinic and they handled her wonderfully. Stitched her up, removed the infectious parts and necrosis. We were sent home with antibiotics as well as pain management. Wouldn’t have had to do all that if we weren’t rushed away the second bit but it is what it is. I can appreciate how quickly we got in the first time and how patient they were working out a quote with us but for what we paid and the service we received here it is not worth it. I would recommend other vets in Tuscon.

Experiencia fantástica: I had to take my 3 year old Shep Mix, Rosco, to the Emergency Vet unexpectedly on a Saturday and, while it’s always scary to take your pet to the ER Vet, I couldn’t be happier that I stumbled across VEG Chandler. The entire staff was so good with him and loved on him like he was one of their own pets. Normally he has really bad separation anxiety and I was nervous to leave him alone for the night in a new place but when I came to pick him up, he was in great spirits. I even had to come back for one more round of blood work today to make sure all was well and he was still excited to go back and everyone remembered him! Yes, it’s expensive. But if my money has to go anywhere, I’m really glad it’s here. The staff go above and beyond to make animals and their owners feel welcome in the most vulnerable of times and the service alone was worth every penny. While I was there, I also witnessed a stray come in bad shape and they immediately jumped to offer care, despite the animal having no one there for it. The people who work here are nothing short of incredible and I’m so grateful for the compassionate care we received.

Experiencia negativa: I really wanted to give a higher rating. I really did, but I just don't think I can the more I think about my experience. I took in my kitten maybe about a week ago. For as long as I had him, up to the day before he was rushed in, he was such a happy and energetic baby boy. Overnight he was rapidly becoming weaker and sicker, so I took him in as soon as I realized how serious it was. When we brought him in, he was unable to move. Luckily they brought him in immediately once they saw him, and started checking a handful of things: blood sugar, heart rate, temperature, and oxygen levels. He was dehydrated, as he wasn't eating or drinking for us that day, but they didn't want to give him anything for hydration unless he stayed the night for over $2,000, or if I chose outpatient care for around $500. So, they held onto him for 5 hours that night while things progressed. They said I could take him home with medicine, but when I decided I wanted to do the outpatient care, they decided I was no longer allowed to take him home because he was "trying to die", as the doctor put it. He was losing oxygen and his heartbeat was slowing down over those 5 hours. I wanted to do tests to see what was wrong with him, but they seemed to think it was progressing too quickly to consider. I was talked into putting him down... they did at least reduce the cost of the visit since he didn't make it, but now I don't have my baby kitty. I thought maybe an emergency like this might be met with a little more urgency, and I would have loved if there was more of an effort to find out what was wrong and address it swiftly, but it appears he never had a chance. I would like to finally add that they staff here do seem friendly, but I really expected the service itself to be different. I just worry that maybe they could have saved his life, but I don't know for certain why they didn't. I worry that maybe they were betting on me letting them keep him overnight, but the deal was that they would only watch his symptoms. There was no mention of looking further into his illness. I didn't want him to die alone in an unfamiliar place. I just wanted to know what was wrong and have it treated. He was an amazing kitten and I miss him so much.

Experiencia fantástica: I am very fortunate to say that after a lifetime of pet ownership, I rarely have needed the Emergency Vet. And I am grateful for VEG when we needed them for our Huey. We stopped in last Saturday on recommendation from our primary vet, who had provided me with Huey's lab results prior to our visit. The advice was that he be seen in ER for stabilization, with the understanding that his lab results indicated that he would have a longer road ahead of him. An open-concept clinic with friendly, receptive and discreet staff, my teen son and I waited patiently for Huey to be seen. VEG requested that Huey's lab results be sent from our primary vet via email and waited on the phone until the file hit their inbox. Dr. Getty was wonderful; kind, compassionate and honest- providing us with further clarity on our kitty's condition and allowing us to make an informed decision on how to proceed with his care. Ultimately, we decided to take Huey home, and on Sunday, with the help of our primary clinic, he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He was our spicy buff and white companion and family member for almost 13 years and we will miss him until we see him again. Experiencia fantástica: Obviously Dr. Tyler Berdy was just so kind, sweet, anywhere you looked he had a smile on his face! Finn’s nurse, (red/orange hair) I wish I could remember her name but she was phenomenal! She chatted with me, let me tell her all about myself and Finn, his problems and everyone who I encountered today made evening at ease. As soon as I picked up the phone to call, to walking out the door was a pleasant experience! The team they have here is amazing. I hope I don’t have to come back, but if I do, I will be coming here and I recommend it to all!!!!!! I came in with my kitty who wasn’t feeling well & he was cared for and the nurses called themselves his aunties and it was absolutely heart warming! They gave him loves, and talked me and my kitty through everything.

Experiencia fantástica: My Shih Tzu was biting at a toad in my backyard. I finally got it away and my dog was coughing like he was choking. I called tonight and the female doctor who was working (Sorry I forgot her name) was calm and helped me through my frantic call. I followed her directions and he is fine now and I'm calm. Experiencia fantástica: VEG is FAMILY care, not just animals. We were never separated and I was a partner in his care. Jessica, Dr. Lemings, Dr. Getty, and Dr. Bradley, and another woman whose name I didn’t catch, were PHENOMENAL. Their care and kindness for both me, and Dennis (cat) was respectful, loving, caring, and supportive. I hope to never see any of them again, but if we ever need emergency veterinary care in the future, VEG is our new place. When I mentioned that I like to show and teach my children about new experiences whenever I can, Jessica made sure that I got a picture from after the procedure so that I could have a visual to help me explain what was happening with Dennis to our family. Jessica also put me at ease as we chatted about our tuxedo kitties and other animals, sharing pictures and stories while she held our cat in place as they took blood and placed an IV, while I pet Dennis’s head and was able to reassure him (and myself) that we were going to be okay. Dr. Lemings talked through Dennis’s care plan, while sitting on the floor with us. A scared kitty and a scared Cat Mom. When talking about long term care and the potential for another extremely expensive procedure, she did not make me feel judged when I told her that it would be too expensive to ever treat this issue again. She was understanding and we talked through what could be done to improve our cat’s life in the meantime. Dr. Getty was there the next day when we brought our kids to visit Dennis. She was genuine and practical about talking through care and recommendations for next steps. She was patient and kind and answered all of our questions. We never felt rushed and never felt like an intrusion. Dr. Bradley and Carlin took care of Dennis’s discharge and they were just as kind, informative, and friendly as everyone else had been. They took time to answer our questions and even found us another vet to do a follow up procedure at a discounted rate. During the 3 days we interacted with VEG and their staff, I don’t think we waited even once. I heard there was coffee, but I never waited long enough to make a cup. I was not happy about putting $5k on my credit card, but if it had to be anywhere, I’m glad we went to VEG. (Important to note: The same procedure was done at another vet, same cat, a year ago, for the same price. Urinary blockage is just expensive to treat.) BEING A GOOD HUMAN MATTERS!! And VEG has nothing BUT good humans on staff. Thank you to whomever dreamt up this version of emergency vet care. Well done. Every place should be like this.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff at VEG is so compassionate and understanding and were able to quickly provide Hazel the care she needed. We have had to take our little Hazel in twice now, and both times the staff were incredibly empathetic and helped calm both us and our fur baby down. We were able to stay with Hazel during all stages of the care process which really helped her remain calm. I could not recommend a better emergency vet in case you may need to take in your pets. Experiencia fantástica: Wow. Cant even begin to explain the amazing experience we had on 9/30. Wait time was 0 minutes and they were busy. My dog wasn't breathing and they assessed and got started right away. They saved her life and they did it with kindness and compassion and I was able to be there the entire time although it was scary they were so reassuring the entire time and I am so grateful for them. Experiencia fantástica: I took my German Shepard here who is reactive in stressful moments. He doesn’t like vets and can tell when he’s at one almost immediately upon driving up. The front desk clerk Arianna was super friendly and my dog wasn’t reactive at all with her. He liked her the most and she made him feel comfortable. He started to show signs of being stressed out once we entered the main area with all the dogs and the vets could immediately tell but they were still being very nice to him and trying their best to keep him calm. Maddie was very friendly as well and I can’t thank them enough for looking at my pups to make sure he was ok. Thank you all who tried to make him feel comfortable in a stressful time for my pups and myself.
