Experiencia fantástica: I can’t say enough good things about this veterinary team. They cared for my childhood dog for many years, all the way through the end of her life last August, and the compassion and professionalism they showed at every stage meant the world to my family. Throughout her life, they consistently provided an incredibly high standard of care. They were always patient with our questions, thoughtful in their recommendations, and genuinely attentive to her comfort and wellbeing. It was clear that they treated her not just as a patient, but as a beloved member of our family. When the time came to say goodbye, they handled everything with such kindness, dignity, and empathy. It was one of the hardest moments for us, and their support made it a little easier to get through. Because of the level of care and trust they built with us over the years, I honestly wouldn’t trust my current dog with any other vet. I’m grateful for everything they did for my childhood dog and for the compassion they showed our family. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinary team that truly cares.

Experiencia negativa: We brought in our dog as he had a growth on his paw. They told us he needed surgery and a biopsy to make sure it wasn't cancerous and gave us a $2000 treatment estimate. We took our dog to another vet and they immediately recognized the growth as a common fungus dogs pick up, they administered a steroid shot and the growth was gone in a week - total cost $99.

Experiencia fantástica: This place needs a five star rating. I’ve taken two pets here, Eva and Wally and every time they have come out healthier than ever. The doctors are so knowledgeable and experienced and have big hearts! My cat suffered a large wound inside of her mouth and they fixed her up and we’re able to close the wound shut completely. They gave me medication and all the right tools for her to have a speedy recovery

Our dog has allergy and GI disease and need to get an injection and prescription for the special diet for my little dog Louis. We checked different vet clinics and so happy we found this one. They provided excellent services. The staffs, the veterinarians and veterinary technicians are very friendly and professional. They are very efficient, knowledgeable and very accommodated. Experiencia fantástica: I think when it comes to reviewing a veterinary clinic it is difficult to say something positive in a stressful time when our pets arent feeling well and costs can be extreme and not every experience is a great one but this review is for the Vets that have helped my fur babies ... Dr. Baxley helped us in one of the most difficult times of our lives when our Lucky got sick and she was there for us until the very end of his life and even though she is on the ER side was kind enough to let me bring in his brother Columbus for an exam to ease my mind. I will never forget her. She is so kind and any patient and their owners are so fortunate to get her as their Vet. Thank you Dr. Baxley for caring as much as you did for our Lucky and for us that night. And my review doesn't stop there!! Dr. Fleming is absolutely amazing and takes so good care of my girls Bella and Jasmine both in early stages of kidney disease and one with hyperthyroidism helping me understand how to care for them as they age and listening to me when I'm worried about any little thing. I'm so grateful to have you looking out for them. And lastly, Dr Hawkins! Thank you for taking care of Columbus during his teeth cleaning! I can't express how much you've helped my boy with his oral care! I personally haven't met you but from our phone calls, you seem like a wonderful vet!

Dr. Winterwood was helpful and very informative. Victoria was also very kind and knowledgeable. I am so grateful we found this place. We have been to emergency vets before and the Scottsdale veterinary clinic is reasonably priced.

This last time, just before Christmas, they went above and beyond when one of my elder cats had suddenly needed end-of-life guidance. The staff was compassionate and flexible with our situation, and helped my little man peacefully cross the rainbow bridge. I am very grateful to have this clinic available to us.

Experiencia negativa: This place is terrible, I went there because it is very close and my kitten was vomiting and lethargic. I was there for almost 4 hours, they had such a nonchalant attitude. They don't care and rude front desk personnel. They are very expensive as well.

Experiencia negativa: I cannot in good conscience recommend this practice. They missed both valley fever in one dog and impacted, infected anal glands in my other dog. This is after multiple visits for both issues and a ton of psychological distress and pain for both dogs. They never did a follow up which would have caught the Valley Fever - you will have to call them for test results every time. Also you will pretty much never see the same doctor twice. You will not feel listened to and you'll be upsold constantly just for your pets to be sicker. I'm incredibly disappointed but thankful I switched doctors before this practice missed something even worse. Don't bring anyone important to you here.

Experiencia negativa: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! They gave me an estimate for a CT scan for the whole body then they said it was for the leg only. Very misleading and they said since my dog is breathing heavy they wanted to do x rays before doing the scan. They wouldn’t do scan without the x rays. Not to mention they wasted 2 hours of our time running around. What happened to doing what the patient/customer wants?

Experiencia fantástica: I was so distressed when I brought my 10-year-old German Shepherd to The Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic. He had a severe leg wound that had been aggravated by the poor care he received at Casa Grande Animal Hospital. After three days of treatment there, Dr. Lindburg suggested putting him down without even attempting to change his antibiotics or explore other medical options. Thankfully, The Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic saved my boy. Dr. Greenwood is truly an angel with a beautiful smile and a heart full of love for animals. She provided him with the proper care and the right medicine he desperately needed. Because I live closer to Coolidge, she recommended I bring him to Coolidge Veterinary Clinic, where she also practices. The care there has been just as exceptional. Dr greenWood and the entire staff at the Coolidge clinic have been wonderful, professional, and kind. I am incredibly grateful to Scottsdale clinic clinic and its amazing team for saving my dog’s life. Thank you again to Dr. Greenwood and her awesome staff!

Experiencia fantástica: We just left the clinic this morning and had to make the difficult decision to put our dog down. The decision took us 3 hours, weighing all the options and cost of intervention. Dr. Goldberg and the staff were incredibly patient with us and took the time to explain things several different times. They were incredibly compassionate and understanding. And it was eventually revealed through an ultrasound in office there was no hope of recovery. We are sad but also incredibly thankful for the loving care they demonstrated in this difficult time.

Experiencia fantástica: They have, on staff, a dog acupuncturist which really helped my husky with his shoulder injury and arthritic symptoms. It's easy to text them and ask questions and they respond 24 hours a day and really care about all their animals. I can't say enough good things about this place and I hope they stay in business for a very long time.

Experiencia negativa: Do not care about your pets or you! We will not be returning. Took the only appointment that which was 730PM. Pulled into empty parking lot at 732PM. Parking lot wreaked of weed. Packed up dog's supplies to take in as prepared to wait awhile as usual. Let dog pee outside. Walked in, only a couple in waiting room and 2 gals behind desk both on phone. So, sat down and waited for someone to get freed up to acknowledge us when they could. Eventually was asked if I had already checked in. No, as no one was available. Was eventually called to go back to a room. A gal with long red hair, Lex? preceded to tell me that THE tech had left at 730 since I was not there and that she would have to see if she could find someone else to see us, ??? and in the same sentence let me know that the only doctor left was Dr. Valentine. I told her that we were there at 732 and she cut me off with "NO, you weren't here until 740!" Seriously? I have a sick dog in my arms and she wants to scold me and set me straight! This "mean negative unfriendly girl" wanted to berate me for being late and argue and had no care or concern for my dog. OMG!!! Once in the room a tech by the name of Teresa magically appeared from somewhere. However, by this time, there was no way we were going to stay and risk being treated by the "left over veterinarian of the day" as Lex had framed it or have to deal with her again. So, we left without being seen. Called later to cancel another appt I had made for one of my cats and had all 3 pets records sent to me. The front desk should be elated as they now have 3 fewer patients to inconvenience them! When I called back, I asked for an administrator or the senior most management person. The red headed front office gal from above, Lex said she is the manager. Scary place...

Experiencia fantástica: Our 13-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has not been sick a day in her life. Then, all the sudden she was very ill. We lucked out that her regular vet was closed, and ended up going to the Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic, on Thomas. They saved her life. They did a whole range of tests and ultimately determined that she had pancreatitis, which can be life threatening. My wife and I were so worried. But the SVC recommended a new treatment called Panoquell, which we started immediately. That along with a special diet and a whole range of other meds and we saw improvement in two days. A week later she was 90% better and now - two weeks later - she is completely back to normal. We STRONGLY recommend the Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic. It is clean. The technicians and Vets are extremely knowledgeable and competent. They were wonderful to deal with and did a great job treating our little girl, who is now all back to normal.

Experiencia fantástica: My cat Phantom had just had two kittens with the latter kitten still attached to the placenta which was still inside of Phantom. The kitten did separate from the placenta but the placenta was still inside the mom which can quickly become an emergency. I took her in that evening and was given triage treatment with my cat receiving a dose of medicine that should start contractions to pass the placenta. I took my kitty home and observed her for about an hour and saw no contractions and when I woke up she seemed fine with a healthy appetite and I thought maybe it had passed and she had ate it. Fast forward to 7 hours later when my cat became lethargic and ignored her kittens. I went back to the ER once again and received care for my cat by the most excellent veterinarian. Kaycie Baxley. We discussed x-rays over ultrasound and she told me if it were her she would go with the ultrasound and that is exactly what I did. The results were not what we hoped as she had indeed retained the placenta but there was also some calcified material that was not identifiable that needed to be investigated. I opted to have her do the surgery and she kept me informed and knowing that I had two new kittens. She did internal stitches and put her on a kitten. Friendly antibiotic. Without this intervention my cat would have died but due to this quick surgery, my cat is home resting comfortably and taking care of her two new babies. All the vets at this hospital are great as I have used this facility a lot in the past on an emergency basis. This is the first time I have wrote a review as I really did like the vet because of professionalism and empathy. I made the right decision for my cat and I couldn't be happier to know that if I have an emergency. I actually have a night time vet that I trust enough to request. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Thanks, Mary Ladd

Experiencia fantástica: I didn’t realize that google doesn’t let you review a place twice, but I have multiple dogs and I need to mention this. My 13 year old pug had two masses in his spleen and they found this during the ultrasound. They called us immediately and asked if they can remove it. I want to thank Dr. Sembach, Dr Blackmon, Dr Baxley,Dr. McAvoy, vet tech Ximena, Giuliana, Jess and Amy for all the hard work and the whole Scottsdale vet! We had to put our 15 year old dog down. This is not our regular vet. We live in Cave Creek but we called to have them take a look at our fur baby. Bre was very kind on the phone. Emily checked her out and then Dr Valentine gave us some testing options. After her blood work that took about 40 min and meanwhile we were able to be with our sick baby, we learned that her liver was shutting down. She did give us options but she knew she was in pain and that we had to say goodbye to our sweet girl. It was one of the worst days of our lives. Emily and Victoria set her up while she was getting kisses from them, gave her a pup cup, and let us take our time with her. It was a very emotional day. I really appreciated Emily telling us that we can go out the side door instead of going through the lobby so people couldn’t see our cried out faces. Thank you guys for being so kind to us and letting us be there for her.

Experiencia fantástica: I wish I found this Clinic 5 years ago when I moved from out of state! Three nights ago at 1:30am my 17 year old Chiweenie was bleeding all over my sheets! I remembered that a friend spoke so highly of this clinic. So off we went. I can’t tell you how incredibly nice and helpful the whole staff was in my time of distress! Unfortunately, Ella cannot be cured but will have a little more time with the help of some meds and after the Holidays I know she will be in good hands when we will have to say goodbye.

Experiencia fantástica: The Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic went above and beyond to try to save our Veiled Chameleon who was severely sick. We live in a rural area with no 24 hour reptile vet so we had to drive a few hours to get to the clinic but we called ahead, the staff was very helpful over the phone and got us checked in so that as soon as we arrived at the clinic they took us directly back into a procedure room with no wait. The doc and the techs were very caring and knowledgeable and I felt like our chameleon was in the best hands possible. We were allowed to remain in the room with the pet through the whole visit and the techs and doc did a great job communicating through the process, and even though we were there as an after hours emergency visit, the pricing for the extremely high standard of care our chameleon received was extremely fair and reasonable. Definitely the least amount of money I’ve spent on an emergency animal visit by FAR, with much better standard of care than we are able to receive in our area even for regular non reptile animal emergencies.

Experiencia fantástica: Had an emergency with my cat, and Dr. South was so incredibly kind, patient, and explained what was going on clear and easy to understand. Even though it was very hard news, she was compassionate. I can’t thank her specifically enough. The clinic itself is also very lovely, very clean with very friendly staff.

Experiencia fantástica: The front staff was awesome from the start of scheduling Apple as a referral from Dr.Valentine, Branson was great in answering all of my questions from the start of Apples dental to her being released, and when my daughter picked up Apple Tristan was also terrific in answering all of our questions and going over all of her stats to how many teeth she had removed to administering her meds! I will always feel comfortable entrusting my 3 fur babies with you all!!!

Experiencia fantástica: The staff at this clinic does immaculate work and on top of that, provides S+ Tier quality care around the clock. First and foremost, they remain kind, empathetic, and compassionate despite often being at this clinic and experiencing 12+ hours of seeing and treating scared and sick animals and consoling and educating their scared owners. That is a feat not many of us would be able to accomplish with such grace, so please give them their laurels and extra kindness if you and your pet(s) have to come see them. I want to speak on, and positively- there was a slight miscommunication I experienced that the front desk person helped me handle; they remained kind, understanding, and supportive throughout the navigation process to rectify the issue and they resolved things for me and my sick lil dude amazingly. I appreciate them very much for the extra care with my feelings and needs. Next, the techs I got to interact with- I respect and cherish immensely because my poor guy was experiencing some pretty concerning respiratory distress and I was incredibly worried throughout and somewhat distracted by that, they made me forget all about being scared as heck with their warmth towards myself and my animal. The bedside manner, if you will, is quality across the board here. You would never know these people are running on caffeine and a prayer/vibes (which I suggest we should elect to keep them in our thoughts regardless of denomination or values one keeps, just sayin’). My cat is very skittish and he was so, so comfortable. I was told he received some pretty invasive treatments very passively so that alone, I can tell you personally, speaks volumes about the absolute quality of treatment your animal will experience here. To provide context to the photos below of my guy- he’s not hiding like usual and he was purring almost the entire time! He snuggled the staff which was a pleasant and big surprise, and only stopped purring briefly when he was getting stethoscoped which it’s almost like he knew! It may be silly, but thinking on it makes me a little emotional because he is my world and seeing him comfortable and interacting so bravely with strangers especially while sick and getting poked and prodded from all angles is a huge deal. I cannot express the depth of my gratitude to these people adequately. Thank you again, everyone.

Experiencia negativa: Honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a vet. The receptionist, Cocoa, looked like she couldn’t care less about being there. She spent most of the time talking to another girl behind the counter and messing with her phone instead of helping anyone. I sat there for over 20 minutes without even being acknowledged, watching people who came in after me get called back first. My dog was already anxious, and sitting there being ignored just made it worse. The whole place felt tense and disorganized, like no one actually wanted to be there. When I finally asked how much longer it might be, Cocoa got snippy with me like I was being a bother for even asking. That was it for me, I ended up leaving before my pet was even seen. It’s a shame, because I was really hoping to make this our regular vet, but after that experience I won’t be coming back. The techs and vets might be great, but you’d never know it because the front desk completely ruins the experience. First impressions matter, and this one was terrible.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT bring any animal that is in need of EMERGENCY assistance. They told us they would be able to tend to our animal, so we took the time and effort to bring the animal in. Sat and filled out paperwork for 30 minutes, and then waited 3 hours. After waiting for 3 hours, they said they would not be able to see us today. BEWARE- and go somewhere else that will not do something like this, especially if your animal is short on time and it’s an emergency. There are better, and more accommodating emergency vets nearby that won’t tell you to come in and then say they can’t see you after making you and your animal wait for 3 hours.

Experiencia fantástica: 5 stars just isn't enough. I've been coming here for years, and the level of care they've always given to my fur babies, and the way they make feel, is ALWAYS amazing to me. I ALWAYS leave feeling confident in their care, and blown away at the level of patience they have with me, when dealing with me as a stressed-out momma. My latest experience with them was with my 7 year old Marco getting his first big teeth cleaning. I was worried sick about any issues along the way, like extractions etc, but just overall, I was a ball of nerves knowing he was so scared. They let me call and check on him and gave me updates throughout the day. Dr. Hertz was the best doctor!!!! Jiliana, his nurse, was beyond amazing! She was thorough in explaining the procedure, as well as explaining the after care. I kept calling Layne (not sure of correct spelling) for all the updates throughout the day, and she was so kind. Marco ended up losing a few wobbly, loose teeth, otherwise the doctor had no issues, and Marco has shiny teeth now!!!! Beyond amazed at the level of professionalism and genuine care that this team has. I will forever recommend this clinic. 10/10. Thanks, guys!!!

Experiencia fantástica: We showed up last night with dog who had seizure and trouble breathing. The staff immediately walked us back for medical care. The Dr explained everything, did ultrasound, gave medication and reviewed the options with our family. I was impressed how kind and helpful all of the staff were. I wanted to leave a note of gratitude. Everyone was professional and even though it was a terrible event our family felt supported by the team.

Experiencia fantástica: In 2021, I brought my cat in to the hospital side and unfortunately, the kindest thing to do was to euthanize. The vet and vet tech were so kind and with me through that. Since then, I have had my dog on the vet side for her normal vet since that point. She is a rescue and has a very hard time at the vet. I am incredibly grateful for the way this clinic collaborates with me to try to provide the least stressful care possible. While my dog still has a hard time, the staff goes the extra mile to care for her. I have always felt like I was included in decision making and provided with education on what is needed. I have encouraged others to receive care here and they have always reported a positive experience. Having the clinic and hospital attached has meant that when we needed the hospital side, they had all of her records which allowed for a smooth process.

These wonderful people are so kind, professional, thorough they deserve 10 stars out of 5. My two Dobermans enjoy going to the vet because of them. Very lucky to have them looking over my boys!

Experiencia fantástica: My cat jinx was suddenly paralyzed without any explanation. I had brought him a few days earlier and they treated for toxoplasmosis but then it got worse and he was...paralyzed from the neck down. We were trying everything and for a few weeks I didn't know what to do, until the vet called me excitedly wanting to try something. Steroids! We still don't know what caused his sudden paralysis but the steroid shot saved his life. He needed these for several years until he eventually died but he was a happy cat during those years and I'm very grateful. I was beginning to lose hope. He had a bad sinus infection when he was part of a feral cat colony as a kitten and was very sick which I think caused his later in life complications. Point is, they didn't give up on him. I had a dog who more recently started experiencing really bad discharge and she wasn't spayed (she was also an abandoned stray so I didn't know her history). Within seconds of the exam they figured out it was pyometra. The surgery was going to be in the THOUSANDS and I couldn't afford it. They allowed the vets in training to operate. It took her a while but she did recover. But with Jinx? That steroid injection idea? That was a big moment and now I trust these vets over any other clinic.

Experiencia negativa: I really don’t like writing negative reviews, especially since I’ve been to this clinic before in the past, but this last visit left me feeling completely hopeless about my dog’s injury. From the start, the vet tech was very cold and unfriendly. My dog is normally very sweet and has never growled at anyone, yet he growled at her, which makes me think he sensed her lack of warmth. She didn’t seem sympathetic at all, which was upsetting in such a stressful situation. When the vet came in, she quickly suggested a solution and then rushed right back out without taking the time to talk with me or explain things in detail. I left feeling dismissed and without the reassurance or guidance I was hoping for. Unfortunately, this was probably the worst experience I’ve had at a vet clinic, and it has really shaken my trust.

Experiencia fantástica: I wanted to leave this review as soon as possible because they were so amazing. I brought my cat in earlier this morning at 4AM because he ingested part of a silicone spatula. They were able to get him to throw it up! They also charged me $1000 LESS than another emergency vet nearby that we had went to earlier this year for the same issue. So I am very grateful my kitty is doing good and it didn’t cost $1k+. Hopefully my cat won’t be chewing on anymore spatulas but, if I’m ever in an emergency with any of my 3 kitties, I will be returning here :)

They will stop everything at a moments notice to handle emergencies and provide the most knowledge and options for the best outcome. This is not an easy job and I couldn’t thank the staff enough. Precision, service, care, and facilities are the best I’ve ever dealt with. I truly thank this team with all that I have!

Experiencia fantástica: Staff members are very welcoming, the vet assistant during triage was friendly even when my dog was reactive but she kept her composure and got all vitals. Vet lady was super helpful and did not push for any unnecessary treatments or procedures. Got lab results back same day. Both vet and the assistant explained instructions on my dog’s medications very well and with simple language. The clinic contacted me after a few days to check on my dog’s condition and he was back to normal after treatment. Definitely a good and trustworthy clinic for your pets!

Experiencia fantástica: There is no better place to take your pets. My dog Benjamin was hospitalized multiple times this year, and the first time I took him to Veterinary Emergency Group as that's who everyone seemed to recommend. While not bad, it was just not the same experience. For his last incident, we took him here instead and it was the best decision I could've made. I am still genuinely taken aback with the genuine level of care that every employee here showed. Benjamin was nervous and anxious while he was hospitalized and even became a little bit depressed. They went very far out of their way to make sure that he was comfortable despite it not really being a part of his medical care. I have these absolutely adorable photos of them putting a tablet with Bluey on in his cage to try and alleviate some of that anxiety. He's not a great eater especially while sick, and they were taking him on long walks, playing with him, talking to him, doing whatever was necessary in order to get him to eat. Just an above average level of care provided that showed they really did just care about his wellbeing more than anything else. When Benjamin took a turn for the worse, we called ahead and as soon as we walked in the door, they rushed him to the back and started treating him. The care they provided was almost the level of care I feel like I might've gotten at a human hospital. They were just that caring. Finances are also a really big part of this for a lot of people. I understand how the world works, and I get that this is a large component because it needs to be, however there's pleasant and low pressure ways to go about this. At Veterinary Emergency Group, the financial piece was entirely up front before we really got anywhere. Here, the financial piece was always secondary to his care. When it did come down to that, they were very respectful about costs and approving them, and then even showed compassion at waiving doctor's fees when I did have to bring him back for a second time. They just kept me comfortable throughout every stage of this. It's also 100% worth noting that when I also did take him and they just looked at him for a bit but didn't really think treatment was immediately necessary, the costs were incredibly reasonable. Something like $60-$90 to be seen by the doctor in the middle of the night. I really am just touched at the compassion and care shown by the staff here for these living beings. To have an organization this large capable of showing this level of care from the top to the bottom is an incredible feat.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Baxley helped us say goodbye to our adored 14.5 year old lab at home. It was a Sunday. She and Tina arrived when they said they would, which helps because you know how long you have left. Dr. Baxley explained everything clearly (we knew the drill from previous dogs). She was so deeply empathetic and caring it made it gentler and sacred. I am so grateful she was there with us as we watched our girl go over the bridge. Thank you Tina and Dr. Baxley!

Experiencia fantástica: From the very beginning with the phone call to ask questions and book Ambers appointment Brie was so patient and helpful. She spent so much time letting me talk and talking to me making me feel so good about my decision to switch Ambers vet clinic. I had a great experience with Dr Rodrick as well, Amber was happy too! I have taken Amber to the same clinic for many years and she has quite a bit of bronchial issues and I have to administer medications to her daily and just worry about how she is cared for. I felt at ease switching clinics as Amber was seen in the ER last year and everyone that took care of her here was so amazing and that is when I discovered they actually had a regular clinic. I received a reminder to get her exam since it had been a year and something just made me call in and make the change. I am excited for Ambers continued care to be at The Scottsdale Vet Clinic and I will bring my other cat Harley too:)

Experiencia fantástica: We are from out of town and were in need of a vet after a complication from an injury our dog sustained. The staff here was incredibly friendly and very helpful. They were also amazing with our dog and the cost was very reasonable to fix the issue (he had a fairly large fluid pouch under the skin that needed to be drained.) I brought him back there today to have his stitches from the injury removed and was met with the same service as I received on day 1. Highly recommend this place for your fur babies, and will use them again if necessary in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: I had to bring my cat, Moana here twice for emergency visits. Both times were the best experiences they could possibly be given the circumstances. Most recently, at the end of June, I brought Moana to The Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic in respiratory distress. They got us back immediately and started working on her. Unfortunately, Moana wasn’t responding to the medications and we discovered after xray that there was several issues contributing to the respiratory distress and I had to make the choice to humanely euthanize her. There’s several reasons why I can’t thank all of the staff at TSVC enough. First, I was there alone with my beloved fur baby and there was nothing I could do to help her. I was an emotional wreck. Everyone that helped us that day sat with Moana & I, checked on me multiple times, and let me cry and tell them all about my sweet angel baby. I was amazed by the compassion and care we were shown and I appreciate it so much. The other big reason I had such a great experience was because of the honesty throughout the experience. We knew early on that it was a dire situation and there was no selling of services simply to make a buck. The vet was very upfront about the possible issues, prognoses, treatments, quality of life, etc. She never made recommendations without me asking her to and let me guide the conversation. That type of candor helped me process the reality of the situation and come to the ultimate decision to euthanize Moana. While none of the experience was easy, I sincerely thank the staff of TSVC for making it the best possible experience it could be - for treating Moana & I with care, compassion, and dignity. Though I hope that other pet parents don’t have to experience their pet having a medical emergency, if you do I would highly recommend The Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic.

Experiencia fantástica: The Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic saved my kitten’s life in July. My spicy gal, Bessie, indulged in the temptations of inedible objections leading to an obstruction in her intestines. Diagnosing this took a few visits and a hospital stay because she was small (thank you for finding the culprit, Dr. Baxley!). Of course, I was in shambles, having seen her immediate physical decline. Payton, the vet tech, was an angel and had my back emotionally the whole time. She sat on the floor as I sobbed and listened to my story. Dr. Gans suggested surgery but I couldn’t quite afford a surgery of that cost. That’s when she suggested having on of their surgeons-in-training complete the procedure with her supervising. It was a gamble, as Bessie was extremely young and underweight. Something told me I could trust her and so I gave the go ahead for the surgery. Bessie recovered brilliantly and she is as spry and crazy as ever now. I was terrified of losing my kitten, but this vet clinic fought tooth and nail to save her. Thank you so much SVC!!! Not only did they provide great care for my senior dog in heart failure that always seemed to have something going on, but they really proved themselves when it came time to put my sweet girl Bebe down. They surpassed my expectations. The staff was very empathetic and kind (shout out to Coco inparticular! She was the absolute sweetest, I can't thank her enough) I now have the most beautiful urn and clay paw print from the facility that she was cremated at. I had them back within a week. The cherry on top was the text I received about 2 weeks after she passed. They had more paw prints that they had taken after she passed. It even included a nose print. Thank you so very much to the staff of the Scottsdale Vet Clinic.

We had brought our cat to another vet a few weeks ago his condition deteriorated very quickly after. We brought him here for emergency treatment and the staff helped us make the unfortunate decision that we already knew we’d have to make to let him go. The staff was all incredibly empathetic and I could see in their faces that they knew and cared about what had to happen. I don’t remember their names, but thank you all so much.

Thanks to his assistance, the triage process was swift and efficient. The attending technician and doctor acted quickly to induce vomiting, successfully removing the string from Poppy's system. Their professionalism and compassion turned a distressing situation into a manageable one. I'm grateful to Angel and the TSVC team for their exceptional care.

Experiencia fantástica: this is the second time i take a pet of mine to this vet. i love everything about it. they were patient and very clear with the medications/treatments needed for my dog. they were patient with him due to him being anxious. they attended us very quickly and allowed us to use a side door due to him being unfriendly with other dogs. unlike other vets this place did not push for any other unnecessary medications or treatments. Staff was very friendly to myself and my dog, I also love the fact that they were very quick and i didn't have to wait as long for testing or to be attended. will be sending everyone i know with a pet over to the vet I love this place.

Experiencia positiva: Brought in a kitten that was barely breathing and was treated like a criminal by the 2 women at the front desk. First thing I said when I called was that I was on the way to see my sick newborn in the hospital, and so I apologize in advance for being discombobulated. And yet- they still questioned and treated me like I was to blame. I had to walk out before I could finish the paperwork because they were GLARING at me, and wept the entire way to see my child in the hospital due to their behavior towards me. I really appreciate you taking it in and giving it care- but recommend you tell your staff to be kinder to people. You never know what someone is going through!

I've tried to shop around before, but yall provide genuinely the best veterinary care my babies could get. Experiencia fantástica: I’ve had to come here a few times in the last 8 months and every time they’ve been extremely helpful and caring. I’ve been in for my cat having diarrhea to a sudden rash and eating a rubber band and each time they’ve been great. They’ve never made me feel like any issue was too small to address. I knew of this vet clinic from bringing my old cat here for boarding many years ago and glad I decided to come back with my new cats.

I am always so pleased with the knowledge, compassion, and thorough examination of our pets when brought in whether it be for annual exams, dental, or more urgent issues. Unlike other veterinary clinics we have tried, I never feel judged or pressured into making snap decisions regarding my fur babies. I'm so grateful for the commitment I have found in these professionals to take excellent care of my furry family members.

Experiencia negativa: Most of our cat's teeth had fallen out, unfortunately. Supposedly gum disease. This review has nothing to do with the competency of the Drs. It has everything to do with the communication about pricing. I was verbally told over the phone that the exam was $442 and that there could be a range of pricing of tooth removal depending on the difficulty starting at an addition $80. Dr. Hertz called me directly and was very nice and assured me that the cost was going to be "on the low end" ... to me that meant the 3 teeth left in our cats mouth were just about ready to fall out and the cost was going to an extra $80. When I got the receipt is when I found out the total which was $825. Total lack of financial communication (but the business manager insisted that the costs were accurately quoted). Hmmm, no they were not - not by the Dr., and not by the receptionist. I asked for some sort of discount - any discount and I would have given a decent review. But of course, it's always about the money so they declined (presumably because they already got paid via CareCredit). Bottom line is, please do your homework and get an accurate cost before having this clinic (or any clinic) work on your pet (s). Vet hospitals and people hospitals seem to be the only businesses that can get away with not disclosing costs, providing the service, and then slapping you with outrageous, unexpected bills.

Experiencia negativa: I first want to say that Dr. Padilla is amazing. It is obvious she cares greatly about her furry patients! She deserves 5 stars. Where my frustrations lie is in the sense of urgency not aligning with the cost paid. Emergency vets are notoriously expensive typically due to the increased urgency of the situation and advanced diagnostics. Our cat had a blood test drawn this past Tuesday, so a week ago tomorrow, and we still don't have the results. I've even called to follow up and was told the results are still "pending." The fact that they do not have an on-site lab at an emergency clinic is incredibly strange and counter productive to me. While the employees here were kind and empathetic, we would not come back here for emergency services due to this.

Both the doctors and vet techs have been compassionate and caring. When we brought our pitbull Henri in after he had a seizure, they met us at our car outside and immediately brought him into the hospital area for treatment. I cannot speak highly enough of this clinic and everyone who works there

Experiencia fantástica: We unfortunately had to get my son’s 16 yr old dog out down today. My son was sick about having to do this but the staff were completely amazing. They took extra time to explain what would happen, what to expect and made it clear they were there to help and the procedure would be done on my son’s timeline-all the time he needed with Fox both before and after the procedure. They even sat and played with him and gave him a plate with whipped cream, cheese and other goodies to eat. I was pleased with how peaceful it all was and although my son was an emotional wreck, they were so kind and respectful of him. Not a visit we wished we had to make, but thank you SO MUCH to the staff. My son felt so guilty about having to make this decision and the staff for sure put him at peace with it and I cannot thank them enough!
