Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been going to the clinic for several years- mostly for shots. Recently, I got my 4.5 year old dog’s teeth cleaned. The staff is very friendly and I feel my dog was very well taken care of.

Experiencia positiva: I have mixed emotions writing this review. When I brought my dog in, I thought the staff was great and they took really good care of my dog, so I referred a handful of friends and coworkers to this vet. Unfortunately, my last interaction with the staff was not so great and being told that this vet has “hidden” fees, and you won’t know about them until the time of checkout feels very dishonest and shady. By the way, I was only picking up meds, so how/why there are hidden fees on meds makes no sense to me. Long review coming, but I think the next customers considering this vet should understand what they could encounter… I spoke to Cassandra on 02/11/2026 to see if they could refill 2 meds for my dog, which Cassandra got approval and said because my dog was seen with them recently, they will be able to refill both meds. I received a quote from them of $46 for BOTH meds. I informed Cassandra that a friend I referred to them was taking her pups in for treatment the following week and again got approval for my friend to pick up the meds. I was told to text the vet the day of to remind them of this matter. I went above that and sent a text right after our phone call and the day of pick up. My friend went to pick up the meds and Cassandra was the one assisting her. Not only did Cassandra give her a hard time to pick up the meds but also told my friend it was going to be $91 for only 1 med…. I had to get on the phone with Cassandra to figure out what was going on, and she told me that their fees just changed the day before and they have hidden fees. I didn’t know medication could have hidden fees, and when I did the math, the 1 med went up over 400% within less than a week… I still do believe the staff takes good care of your pets, and may still be more reasonable than most vets; however, it’s a guessing game what you’ll pay. Don’t trust their quotes and expect to pay double the amount they quoted. I just wish the center was more honorable and honest when it came to fees.

Experiencia fantástica: The team is friendly and caring towards our pets. We’ve been using Low Cost Vet since 2014 for their neuter services and dental / cleanings and love the results. The facility is impeccably clean and sterile so no issues with infections!

Experiencia negativa: Very disappointing experience. I was referred to Low Cost Veterinary Surgery Clining by a friend to have our two puppies neutered. The first time I called I listened to the recorded message and then waited as the call rang and rang, ultimately going to voicemail. I had to take another call, so I phoned them again twenty minutes later. The call was answered by someone laughing and chatting with someone else in the office, never realizing they had answered a live call. I kept saying "hello", "hello"... and then she responded with "please hold". That hold led to a 10 minute wait, with the call ultimately going to voicemail again. Third time I called and just got a busy signal. Had there been an actual situation where I needed to check on my pups or get support, it would have fallen on deaf ears. Horrible first impression and would not trust this facility regardless of how many positive reviews they have. Was really hoping to work with them.

Experiencia fantástica: The ease of scheduling and handing off was much easier than expected. Some of the expected redundant steps in the process were eliminated. The entire staff seemed engaged, personalized, and sincere in their efforts. Refreshing. Julian (The King) is very happy.

Experiencia positiva: I loved how quick and easy everything was. My cat is also healing really well- which is great! What I didn't love was- while I was waiting to pick up my cat, I noticed some of the vet techs being somewhat aggressive with some of the cats who were sedated or possibly coming out of surgery. I don't know if these cats have owners or if these are cats off the street being spayed/neutured - but if they do have owners, I don't think they would appreciate their little ones being flipped around in the cages while they're under medication. These were the cats that were all in one room in separate cages on the floor. And even if they do not have owners, animals you are caring for should not be treated that way. I even saw one of the vet techs aggressively pull a cat out the cage to give it a shot and then kind of the the cat back in the cage. Whether the cat is aware or not of what is happening, this is not okay. I gasped pretty loudly when I saw that. I would just hate to think that my kitten was being treated that way without me seeing.

Everywhere else I called was between $500-$1000 just to get my female cat spayed And it was the only facility that took her within a few days instead of weeks out . Service was excellent they were kind and caring and even Updated us on how she was doing through the process.

Experiencia fantástica: I was thoroughly impressed throughout the whole process of getting my heeler spayed. I was a little worried about parking in the morning for drop off, but there were actually plenty of parking spaces and they got us checked right in! Everyone was super nice and thorough and I was able to get my dog her vaccinations at the same time. We have another heeler puppy who needs to be neutered, so we will definitely be back here in a few weeks. I definitely recommend low cost veterinary surgeons!!

They only do well pets, but the service and cost were at opposite ends. The service was a high standard and the n prices the lowest. A win-win. Highly recommend. The waiting room and parking lot in the back became a bit crowded, but the staff were swift in assessing their patients. I was in and out in under an hour without making an appointment. I brought my kitty Keeper in who is considered a senior so with mandatory bloodwork, dental cleaning, microchip, antibiotic + pain injection, and 1 tooth extraction- it was only $628 which holy cow is so affordable! I got several quotes normally ranging $1,000-$2,000+ so this place was a huge relief for me because I want to take care of my cat but couldn’t afford such a high price elsewhere. They were so kind here and very prompt on keeping me updated with her progress along with confirming that doing the extraction was okay. I loved it here and would definitely come back and already recommending them to others!

Experiencia negativa: I am pleased to report that my dog, Kona, underwent surgery successfully. The incision site appears normal, and there have been no post-operative complications. Kona is resting comfortably, and I appreciate the care provided during the procedure. However, I do have a serious concern regarding the discharge process. Upon returning home, I discovered that the incorrect medication had been sent with us. My boyfriend went to the clinic the following morning to address the issue. When he arrived, there was a delay in being acknowledged, as the receptionist was focused on the computer for several minutes. Once he was able to explain the situation, the correct medication was provided. Fortunately, the medication was not required until the morning after surgery. Had it been needed immediately, this error could have had more serious consequences. This kind of situation has never happened before in my experience, so I had no reason to feel the need to double-check the medication before leaving the clinic. Going forward, I certainly will—but I believe it is ultimately the clinic’s responsibility to ensure accuracy at discharge. I strongly urge the clinic to implement or reinforce a comprehensive post-operative checklist to verify all medications and instructions before clients leave. While I am very thankful that no issues arose from the procedure itself and that Kona is doing well, the medication error is a serious concern that should not be overlooked. For this reason, I am giving a rating of 2 out of 5—acknowledging the successful surgery, but also reflecting the importance of safety and thoroughness in the entire process of care.

Experiencia negativa: I think it’s kind of ridiculous to get there at 7:30am like they told me too, just to be told after arriving my cat would get getting Spayed only after all the dogs had gone first. I’ve gotten cats fixed before and was able to pick them up within the hour of dropping them off. Will not come back and do not recommend unless you have a dog I guess…

I had been to 8 separate vets, gotten bids for dental work that were so out of the realm of possibility for me that I was intending to drive my dog to Mexico to use a vet there I could afford. Low Cost Veterinary Surgery Clinic did all the dental surgery, were incredibly kind, and very likely extended the life of my dog by several years. The clinicians and staff were professional, highly ethical, and a dream, to work with. 'Thank you' is a small sentiment to describe the depth of gratitude I feel toward this place and everyone who works there.

Experiencia negativa: My kitten came home with a strange looking incision (I’ve had 10 animals spayed before) but I let it go. Today is Sunday. She was spayed on Tuesday. She’s currently undergoing a $6,000 life saving surgery at the moment to fix the infection this clinic caused. Her entire abdomen inside is full of dead tissue and puss. DO NOT GO HERE. I FEEL GUILTY FOR TRYING TO SAVE A BUCK. Now my poor kitty might die because of my choice. Yes she was in a cone the entire time and yes I also crated her in a Great Dane crate. Nothing went wrong other than the surgery itself.

We are struggling financially right now and I literally cried because another vet was going to charge us over a thousand dollars for a single tooth removal. But it absolutely HAD to be done. Thankfully we looked elsewhere and these guys did it all, meds and everything included, for just under $180! And the procedure was very quick. Really saved us and we can’t thank them enough. We even waited for two weeks before leaving a review in case there were any complications, but our little dog has healed up perfectly and with no issues at all. Experiencia negativa: Called them 3 times on Monday and 3 times on Tuesday they just do not answer their phones and I left a voice mail to get a call back. Instead of a call back I get a text back and was told twice in the texts that they will give me a call back soon whenever they get a chance. They never called me to discuss pricing for my dogs neutering. Pretty scary to trust this clinic to give your animals a procedure would not trust makes sense why they’re low cost. Regardless of how busy a clinic can be they have no excuse to not answer their phones.

The lobby is small and bustling, which doesn’t leave much space for privacy if you are bringing in an anxious or sick pet, but the staff are friendly and the veterinarian and techs are caring and attentive. I was there meeting the owner of a cat rescue who had agreed to take in my neighbor’s cats after she had passed away. I was able to attend the appointment for one of the kitties. They do a lot of trap neuter return procedures for strays, so while I was there, the hallway was full of covered carriers. A great low-cost resource for pet owners. They’re doing good work for the community.

The staff was beyond amazing and they also were able to do testing on her to see if she was okay. Their prices are amazing compared to the other clinics around and their staff answered all my questions without giving me the run around.

Not only was the staff friendly, helpful and took great care of my girl but Ellie is already acting normal and so far there’s been no negative reaction to the surgery. She was drowsy yesterday but that’s to be expected. She’s eating and drinking normally and is taking her meds easily. I’m very pleased with my experience! Experiencia fantástica: No need to put a collar on a cat. They are way smarter than people give them credit for. I did not put the collar on and she did not touch her stitches they healed up just fine... Otherwise, my experience was good.

Experiencia fantástica: Brought my corgi, Annie to the clinic for a spay, teeth cleaning and a few other things. They were so sweet to her from drop off all the way through to when we picked her up. We are three days out from surgery now and she is feeling great and everything looks to be healing very well! My normal vet who I go to for everything else quoted me $1400-$1750 for everything that I needed done and the clinic did it for $900. Would highly recommend.

Treva ensured my two kittens would go into a save comfortable place right away and made the experience come at ease. Experiencia fantástica: We went to Arizona Spay and Neuter for our cats neuter and they did a great job. The place is cleanly and organized. The receptionist was so sweet and welcoming. We (naturally) were worried to drop him off for his procedure but they made us feel super comfortable. Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: We take our dogs for their annual shots and recently took our chocolate lab, Ms. Bailey Girl, in to be spayed. Vet called after surgery and gave an update and care instructions. Bailey is doing great and I will definitely return again!

Experiencia negativa: I had a voucher to take my cat here and when I called the receptionist immediately stated she would look for appointments one moment. I waited for about 5 minutes before hanging up since there was dead silence. I gave them a call back twice and got a busy tone. The third time it went straight to vm. I'm really disappointed, there are so many good reviews and I was excited to bring my cat here.

Experiencia fantástica: Super awesome experience! The staff is amazing and very compassionate. I've never been to such an awesome veterinarian clinic. I'm struggling right now financially and I unexpectedly but happily rescued 2 kittens and I have had amazing support getting them fixed and I'm so grateful for the people who made it all possible and I had several options for where to take my kitties and I'm so happy I chose AZ spay and neuter clinic because I really don't think there's any place that could be as great as these wonderful humans are.

Experiencia fantástica: These guys have been my go to for pet vaccinations and spay/neuter for more than 10 years. The staff are lovely and offer great advice and insight, they offer help with stray and feral cats and dogs.

Experiencia fantástica: They did a fabulous job taking care of my dog and keeping me up to date of his progress when I brought him in to have him neutered and his dental cleaning. They also have very reasonable pricing such that I go here even if it’s 20miles away and we have several vet clinics less than a mile away from our home in north phoenix. I highly recommend them

Experiencia fantástica: We had always used this clinic while living in south Scottsdale and was over-joyed to find that a new site was opened out near us in south east Mesa area. Yeah, Baseline and Crismon. Great care from these great doctors and assistance team. I'm happy that this health provider has found their way further out into the city.
