Experiencia negativa: The only good experience I had was the first time, and I guess that's the catch. My brother had to take my cat in for a UTI while I was away so it was all phone conveesations, though Dr. Marrot was very kind and responsive, called me multiple times, and took the time to walk me through options for both minimal and extended investigations and options for treatment that would give my cat the fastest relief without breaking the bank. She's truly not the issue, but the staff there is. I paid for a culture and treatment (broad-spectrum antibiotic) . This is the first culture, plan to see if it works and if her symptoms improve before deciding to do more invasive testing (on the off chance it's not a UTI) Issue is, the treatment was not long enough for my cat (because it was a specific antibiotic injection that only lasts 7 days even though it should be enough for that type), as she still had a bit of blood come back to her urine after the antibiotics wore off. I understand the typical approach after treatment is to get another 2nd urinalysis/culture, to make sure it's clear; however, in this case, because we know its obviously not clear, I wanted to get another treatment of either the same antibiotic or a different one that still treats E.coli, and THEN come back for a urinalysis/culture to see if it's gone or even if there's another strain, etc. I did not want have to do a 2nd culture FIRST before they'd even treat her again, and have to do a 3rd one once that was over. That is an extra unnecessary culture and all while no treatment is being done to help my cat's discomfort. To make it worse, I couldn't even speak to the doctor since she was busy, the receptionist I called in the morning forgot about my request and didn't even tell the doctor, so I called 8 hours later and was transferred to a lead tech that was very rude and kept interrupting me, to THEN get told the doctor wouldn't even be able to speak to me till TWO DAYS later to even discuss my request to just do another treatment. So meanwhile, my cat would be getting worse, and then, say I talk to the doctor two days later and she wants me to bring her in to get a culture, we would have to wait more days for that culture to come back to then decide what to do. That is utterly ridiculous. I've worked in the medical field (particularly surgery) for 13 years, and no antibiotic 2nd treatment (again especially one that has only 7 days efficacy) is going to harm my cat. Worst it would do is not work. On top of that, the lead tech didn't even check her facts till later, and even then didn't attempt to say a quick sorry, even though she was being condescending saying all the injections they give are 14 days, despite me telling her that was not the case for the one they gave me. So having to be told through a VERY rude lead tech that wasn't even attempting to listen to me -- and who cut me off mid sentence 5 times in a row when I'm just starting to speak --that after already waiting 8 hours because the receptionist failed (mind you I didn't even make a fuss about that, I was calm and nice the whole time and being very concise and polite until the tech was blatantly interrupting me over and over) that I cant talk to the doctor at all that day, let alone the next day and then maybe even the next cause the doctor was off, and I can't get helped by any other doc to get my cat treated AND that any info that is getting relayed is while the doctor is busy and can't be communicated properly, is just poor service. I know things get busy, but the staff's complete disregard for my cat's needs and even the lack of basic human decency, courtesy, and respect from that tech is utterly unacceptable.

If clinical signs persist after treatment, doctors may recommend repeat diagnostics before prescribing additional antibiotics. This approach is never intended to delay relief, but rather to ensure we are selecting the safest and most effective treatment for your pet’s specific case.

Regarding communication, our records indicate that your request was appropriately relayed to the doctor. On that day, Dr. Marrott’s schedule was fully committed to complex medical appointments, which limited her ability to return calls immediately. In situations like this, our technicians work closely with the doctors to relay information and guidance as efficiently as possible. We understand how stressful it can feel when your pet isn’t improving, and we regret that the timing contributed to your frustration.

We also take concerns about communication style seriously. Our team strives to maintain professionalism and respect in every interaction. While our staff members must follow established medical protocols and doctor direction, conversations should always remain courteous and solution-focused. We will be reviewing this internally.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been going to them for my dogs for a few years now. They’re meh, and have bad admins. Doctors are also making mistakes. Fortunately I’m smart and am able to prevent problems due to their lack of attention to detail, but are you comfortable taking your dogs to a mediocre vet clinic?

Experiencia positiva: Love the people here, everyone from the front desk to the nurses to the doctors are lovely people. And I feel listened to and that my dog is cared for! The prices are a bit higher than elsewhere in town. My main problem with this office has been the tardiness. The last three times I’ve come there’s been a walk in emergency (which happen!) but it seems like the office is not equipped to take these type of visits because it delays everyone else’s appointments (by quite a lot).

Experiencia fantástica: I can't say enough good things about this place. We had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to our dog. My husband was severely devastated to lose the boy who helped him through his struggles with ptsd. The staff was unbelievably kind and patient with us. They were gentle with our boy and gave us our own privacy with all the time we needed. Kudos to all of the staff for making our difficult time slightly more bearable!

Experiencia fantástica: I truly cannot say enough positive things about this office. Every single staff member I interacted with in person and on phones, were companionate, helpful, and supportive. Dr. Bundy was phenomenal, he calmed me down and assured me, giving me the confidence in his assessment and pathways. He was very knowledgeable, and handled my beardie with the upmost care. It is really awesome for me that they stay open late a couple days a week, as well as being open on Saturday. Their prices in my opinion, are more than reasonable. I have an exotic pet, and I walked out feeling like they were very fair. Overall, genuinely some of the kindest folks I’ve ever met before, and I will be recommending them to everyone!!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Buck, vet tech Angel and all the staff were exceptional. Past years I used Banfield Animal with my other dogs, but Yorkshire Hospital is unmatched, I recently adopted a great dog, but his only flaw is aggressiveness with other dogs, and Yorshire was so accommodating to Finn's needs, I will always have them take care of my Finn, especially Dr. Buck.

Experiencia fantástica: As always, exceptional care! While we were waiting for our appointment, we were early, different techs and vets came out and loved on my dog. Experiencia fantástica: Always friendly and understanding. It feels like a Veterinary office that cares. Lobby/waiting area is large and has separators so you don't have to sit next to other excited animals alongside your own. We have brought our rat here and our dog, prices seem reasonable.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been taking my cats to Yorkshire Veterinary Hospital since 1987. They were just a store front at Chapel Hills Mall back then! The veterinarians, then and now, are the most caring, compassionate and helpful I've ever encountered. The front desk staff and vet techs are equally as wonderful! Well, ownership has changed and prices are outrageous. I do not take my cats here anymore.

Experiencia negativa: This used to be a good Vet... times have changed. Way overpriced, and they insist on you getting your prescriptions through them, even if this means delaying you getting the prescription you need for over a month. Oh yeah, they care... about getting every dollar out of you they can. There are better options, choose one of them.

Experiencia negativa: I have been client of Yorkshire vet for well over a decade, this practice has seriously gone downhill one veterinarian in particular Dr. Jones fails to listen To the owner of the animal, And is persistent about upselling. I rescued a small pitbull that was extremely early when I took her to the vet she had diarrhea and was assumed to be six weeks old, Was given medication that I paid for. The dog was also given its first set of puppy shots, which I thought was necessary because Letting the dog get Pavo is completely avoidable. The next day because I failed to ask inside the doctors office during the visit how long the medicine would take to stop the dog from having diarrhea I was given a return phone call where Dr. Jones had preemptively ordered another medicine. At no point in time did I say the medicine was not working or that I was concerned that the dog was not getting better. Part of the reason why I believe that I Did not ask the appropriate questions during the visit as I was being inundated with requests to give my six week old dog the Bordetella shot which is for boarding animals after I had replied at least on three occasions that I would not be boarding the animals, especially in the current condition. I am not medically trained, but to me it makes no sense. Why you would give a dog multiple shots when they are suffering through diarrhea, especially shots that are most definitely unneeded. This was a great vet, veterinarian office, it was a gentleman and a wife who ran the place but now that you don’t see them and there are several other doctors on board I would not take your animal here

Experiencia negativa: So far: great vets, reliable communication, polite and courteous staff. 3/2025 UPDATE: 9/2025 Bribed by management (won’t want to name names) with a refund to take out someone’s name and when I didn’t do it quick enough to their liking cause I was driving 20 hours and miscarrying a child…they started throwing a tantrum in house. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend. Not worth the headache you’ll endure.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been taking my dog here for almost a year now and they have always helped me in whatever way needed. My dog has hyperthyroidism and skin problems. They aren't afraid of telling you about specialist outside there, location even if it means less money for them. Very friendly staff and a great waiting room for animals.

Experiencia fantástica: The tech (failed to get her name) was kind and courteous. From start to finish, she had greeted both myself and my pet with courtesy. After the appointment, she had explained how he did; she had given explanations and helpful suggestions about his visit. It didn’t take long during the appointment before, during, and after. My pet was calm and relaxed manner after she had returned him from his nail clipping, as to which I found important. His nails are in good health, and he is running around with comfort. Experiencia negativa: I was so disgusted how they didn’t even really treat my dog fairly. I went in there one time my dog clearly had kennel, cough, coughing three times every 10 seconds and they would not help me because I didn’t have an appointment so somewhat understood that and I thought I would give them one more chance with my puppy. I did a first initial exam and wasted every dollar that I spent with this place. I think they touched my puppy only once I didn’t get any eye contact the doctor right away started trying to book all these other appointments and in my mind I was asking what about today I feel like the first visit is clearly a consultation for you to spend $1000 right away on other stuff she didn’t check the reflexes bones and joints growth anything but they also keep on blowing up my phone for more appointments a year down the road. This place is money hungry, and does not take the time for your dog like Austin Bluffs animal clinic

Experiencia positiva: They’re good but the prices are insane so I might go find another clinic. 700 plus for a cat annual physical and close to 800 for dental cleaning. But in the annual physical they ask you to bring your cats poop but pre charge you for it. I can see why the relinquishment rates and shelters are at capacity across multiple states. Vet clinics should do better in terms of pricing. It’s getting crazy!!!

Experiencia negativa: This place extorts shot records from customers. They lie about additional costs for boosters and refuse to handover records without additional fees paid in addition to vet visits that can’t be done on the same day in order to cost extra vet clinic charges. These additional fees on top of clinic visits for booster shots are not explained to customers after paying for them in advance. They lie directly to customers that it’s all covered and when you bring your pets in for the booster (3) weeks later, they refuse to give records until additional money is paid when these shot parties should be covered with the initial shot. They also refuse over (6) month treatment in order to charge bi-annual check ups in order to get a year supply of flea tick treatment which is another form of extortion.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff was friendly and welcoming and took my concerns about my cat's infection seriously. They were very good with my cat, let me know what other health conditions he had, and very understanding about what I could get done for him at a given time. Their prices were very reasonable, and the staff managed to get us in on the same day. I was particularly impressed by the vet I saw and how she discussed the likely causes of the infection. Experiencia negativa: Do not come here if you value you pet's life over money. My first complaint: The nurse tried to start an argument about spay and nurturing. The Doctor was ok but because I thanked her for being gentle (in hopes she would be) she charged me a dollar.... like what? Then they sent the sheckle collector. I had explained I am a disabled veteran and that my dog is the only thing holding my mental health together. I was having issues with my credit card so they had me apply for personal loans... now I am being contacted day and night by different lending institutions. I had explained that my card would be working the following day after speaking with my card customer service. I asked if they would be willing to give one dose of antibiotic that day and I would come back the next day to fill the script and pay for the exam (which I did do by the way) the shackle collector was extremely rude and tried to claim that because she was the daughter of a veteran that she already understood my situation and that it "couldn't be that and that wlshe would refuse to allow me to have any medications provided without paying for them first. What kind of a service are you trying to provide where you want to manipulate society into acting like this? Are you trying to completely unhinged veterans? Do you have no sympathy? Is money the only thing you care about? I guarantee during the pandemic you received relief from the government which is the service I provided for you. Why would you turn around and treat us like we didn't keep you safe at night? Then I was provided with a lovely label on my medication declaring in bright orange and black "MEDICATIONS CANNOT BE RETURNED" what l was trying to be implied with this label? Even with this label I could still ask to return them so this is just a little piece of propaganda you have devised to be divisive... why? If I did need to try to return a medication for whatever reason I am sure it could be explained by the staff that medications can't be returned. Which is company policy not a federal mandate. Again I ask you why? If it is sealed and in the original packaging I am sure it could be returned. Now I am sure this will be the only thing you focus on but is not even something I care about other than why was the label put on there? Why is that a label at all? I mean it is pretty common sense you don't return medications and Secondly if I was willing to come back the next day and face the embarrassment from your staff I obviously want my dog to get better so my dog's health is more important to me than money so I would NEVER take her medication away from her to even give me food I would rather eat dirt! How dare you imply that I would choose money over my dogs health!? It sounds like you all have a lot of soul searching to do before you cross over to the other side.

Experiencia fantástica: It's not an exaggeration when I say that Dr. Bundy saved my guinea pig's life. When my guinea pig had a medical emergency over the weekend, Yorkshire Hospital was able to see us on very short notice. Despite busy schedule, Dr. Bundy made time to perform a life-saving surgery the very next day. I'm beyond grateful for compassion and seriousness with which Dr. Bundy and Yorkshire team treated my guinea pig—no matter how small or seemingly insignificant a guinea pig might be to others, he was given the same level of care and urgency as any other patient. Now, my guinea pig is doing great, the incision looks beautiful, and his recovery was smooth and uneventful! Thank you again for saving his life!

Experiencia fantástica: If you do not bring your pets here then you are mad. Over the years, I struggled to find good care for my Maine Coons cat, Jeff and Selene, going through two states and endless clinics. Since they are family, it was extremely stressful not being confident about the care they were receiving. It felt like the diagnosis were centered about getting money out of my pocket rather than my babies' wellbeing. It was frustrating, too, because pure breed Maine Coons suffers from some nasty conditions, a couple affecting one of my cats and that were completely missed in the past. This all changed with this practice and I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Bundy, Dr. Buck and Dr. Clark. Just a couple days ago, they saved Jeff, my oldest, from a nasty intestinal blockage. Let me delve into specific details why you should seriously consider this practice for your pets. 1. The facility is clean, well organized and there is a great attention to make sure that any animal feels at home. Aside from cats, I have seen lizards and turtles being admitted here. All the rooms, are organized to make any pet feel as comfortable as humanly possible. For example, as the owner of nervous cats, I appreciate the presence of Feliway in every room. 2. The Front desk is well managed and knowledgeable in their duties. I have never experienced delays during check-ins and check-outs. Even on the phone, the interactions have all been quick, neat and pleasant. The most impressive thing for me, they recognize me and my pets even before I reach the counter with my file already up and ready. Big shoutout to all of them because they totally deserve it. 3. As far as the doctors go, let me start by saying that I am a real pain in the butt to deal with. I am an engineer in my daily job so I analyze and over analyze everything. Couple that with owner's anxiety, when one of my babies, is sick and it is a deadly mixture. The doctors have the patience of a saint. Not only they talk to me, and talk I do since I am Italian, but they go above and beyond to try and look after my pets. A couple interactions to illustrate the point: a. Dr. Bundy: he diagnosed an abscess on Jeff, which was completely missed by the ER even though half his face was swollen, and performed successful emergency surgery in a matter of hours. Not only he provided me with an accurate diagnosis and resolution, but at a much lower cost and stress than the pointless ER visit. Furthermore, he was the only one to actually investigate a murmur in Jeff that was neglected until then. .b Dr. Buck: she had the misadventure of meeting and caring for my new kitten, Selene aka the ADHD cat. Selene is definitely one of a kind, she spends her time hopping, yes she hops like a bunny, clawing and chewing, with the occasional hiss to show who is in charge. Dr. Buck did not even flinch, if anything she laughed, and did her examination while playfully wrestling with the hellhound. You tell me if that is not real commitment to animal care and love for animals! c. Last, but not least, Dr. Clark. When Jeff has his last misadventure, the intestinal blockage, I was not able to see either Dr. Bundy or Dr. Buck. Dr. Clark was the only one available to check Jeff out and what an impression she did. She took some x-rays of the abdomen and not only she correctly diagnosed the blockage, she also found hips dysplasia and a possible heart condition in Jeff. I was aware of the heart condition, previously diagnosed by Dr. Bundy, but what a diagnostic work for a patient coming in with a suspected intestinal blockage and that she had never seen before. I mean, I thought this kind of stuff happened only in fiction like Dr. House animal version! I am extremely grateful and happy to have this facility looking after my babies. The stuff and the doctors are exceptional. I could not recommend them enough. Jeff is now a special need cats due to all the health alignments that he has. I am really grateful to have three exception doctor to look after him! Thank you, it is extremely appreciated. Selene sends hisses of love to you all!

I had my sweet girl for 15 years and their process and staff made me feel like she was loved in her last hours from everyone there. They gave me a free clay paw and it means everything to me. Experiencia fantástica: I've gone to this clinic for 45 years since it was Dr. Frank and a few staff. It still feels like that small clinic that cares so much. My dog needed immediate attention for an infection Wednesday. I'm sure Dr. Corrina sacrificed her lunch to get us in but she took her time and I left knowing what to do to make my dog better. Years ago Dr. Scott helped me through my dog's chemo every day, went above and beyond in every way for me during that time. Long ago I moved and asked Dr. Scott for another vet closer to home. He recommended some and I tried one but came back to Yorkshire after a very short time.

Experiencia negativa: While the staff has always been nice, they have obviously been bought out by a corporation or changed management as it is not the same. It is ran very corporate like. You will never see the same veterinarian. They require you to buy all meds through their own pharmacy, forcing you to pay double the price of buying from Chewy, petmeds, or costco. Their general fees are also much higher than what you will generally find around the city. My last vet experience wasnt great either, although most have been fine. I'm going elsewhere, its not the same office it used to be. I do not recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: I knew Yorkshire would be a great fit for my family at our first visit back in 2021 when Dr Bundy offered to have us come back weekly so my very reactive dog could get used to him and the staff. That one gesture meant so much to me, and showed me how much they cared after that one interaction. Since then, with four pets, we’ve probably worked with just about everyone there! To name a few of our favorites, Dr Rathmell has helped us with TPLO surgery for our dog (twice because our dog is wild) and has been so kind, caring and understanding. Dr Clark is theeee best and such a caring person! She mostly sees our kitties, & she even hugged me when I got upset about one of our cats. She’s the sweetest ever! Dr Rachel is also very sweet and always looks out for us. Natasha is our favorite tech! She’s down to earth and great with our dog, and is always telling our pupperoni what a brave good girl she is. Peggy is wonderful about getting our meds filled very quickly and she’s always asking how our fur babes are doing when we chat, which we appreciate! The front desk is amazing in every which way too, easy to work with whether it’s on the phone or in person, and fun to talk with! They’re really patient with our dog who needs some special accommodations at times. I mostly talk to Faith, Evie, Kali, Yasmin, Lindsey & Denise. I have had such a positive experience at Yorkshire, that I even referred my mom, Karen, to work there with the front desk, who is also wonderful, & not just because she’s my mom:) Yorkshire will hands down treat you like family, have your best interest, be honest and trustworthy, and treat your pets like their own. I’ve been to a lot of vets prior to moving to Colorado since we are a military family, and I can confidently say that literally everyone at Yorkshire is such a caring, kind hearted, amazing person.

Experiencia negativa: My dog is hurt, been on the phone with 30+ minutes ,mostly on hold which is wild. In the middle of an emergency & they schedule for me 9:30, once I say he possibly needs stitches, they cancel it after they told me 9:30 & told me to go elsewhere. Do yall not care about dogs? Can you see my hurt dog & then if he needs more assistance yall can’t provide tell me at that point? Yall care more about money than pets ! Last time I came here I got charged 2 times on a wellness exam. When yall don’t even actually care about his wellness, yall just want money! Absolutely pitiful. Experiencia negativa: This is so incredibly disappointing to be writing a 1 star review. I've been bringing my furbabies to Yorkshire since 2018 and we absolutely loved Dr. Scott. A few years ago Dr. Scott retired, or was bought out - not sure about the whole situation but from what I gather it wasn't the smoothest transition. Even after raising my concerns with Dr. Bundy on how the transition was poorly handled I gave them the benefit of the doubt and figured they would find their way back to being an amazing hospital. Boy was I wrong. Not only did the best veterinarians leave (Dr. Scott and his wife) but also our favorite tech Jason is gone. Now I'm left with not knowing which vet I'll be seeing when I go in (it's different every time!) and they keep pushing this stupid AI chat recording at every visit. Supposedly it's to make sure "they don't miss anything." I'm sorry but if you've made the investment to be a veterinarian and are now employed as one I expect you to fully be able to do your job without AI. If you can't take accurate notes as a doctor then you shouldn't be one. Recently, I've had to bring my dog in for several visits around a coughing issue which was thought to be heart failure and has instead turned into a suspected diagnosis of lymphoma. To get this diagnosis I've had to drive all the way up to Denver because I'm not sure the veterinarians at Yorkshire are even capable of doing anything related to veterinary medicine beyond giving vaccines and handing out a brochure for a specialist veterinarian which requires a $250 deposit just to make an appointment. Honestly, why do I even continue to bring my pets to Yorkshire if they can't do anything but dentals and vaccines? Lastly, Yorkshire has been emailed directly from the oncologist and cardiologist up in Denver the status of my dog and his suspected Lymphoma. You'd expect that the veterinarians would be calling me to check on my dog and express their sadness at his diagnosis. While that is the expectation do you think it's happened? Of course not! Yorkshire isn't patient centric care anymore and they don't care if one of their patients has cancer. They only care about how much money they can get you to spend. Corporate greed at its finest. I'm now looking for a new vet office for my 6 pets because Yorkshire officially sucks.

Experiencia negativa: Yorkshire Veterinary Hospital was great until the new ownership acquired the practice. With the turnover, the new doctors adopted a new business model that requires a pet owner to spend money on useless tests, expensive referrals, and overpriced prescriptions. When I switched from their services, they retaliated by reporting "preexisting conditions" to my pet insurance for a referral appointment that had not occurred. This action now cause me to pay out of pocket for all my dog's future treatment. I would only go here if you have unlimited funds in your bank account to spend.

The only thing I noticed is that the veterinarians here seem very heavy on prescribing meds and adding tests to your bill. Not only me, but I overheard others at the front desk who seemed a little surprised at the bill at checkout. Things ran up quickly.

Experiencia negativa: Since Dr Scott retired this practice is just not the same. I spent over $1100 for one dog and the vet doesn't even review the xrays with you. I guess I have to wait for the specialist to call me??The vet didn't even touch my dog in front of me and acted like she didn't care or like dogs. I didn't even get a receipt! 5 people at the desk, 2 working on computers and answering phone, 1 checking someone else out, and 2 on the phone. I had to wait for someone to get off the phone while the 2 on their computers just ignored me. If they are assigned to just work on their computer and ignore customers then move them to a non-public space, or put up a sign that they will ignore customers in lieu of staring at their computers.

Experiencia fantástica: I truly am not sure how this hospital got good reviews. I have been there twice with my pet and both times were horrible. The first time all they did was try to upsell me on things that my cat did not need. I know this because he had just moved in with me and had a full physical in Westminster. The second time I went I got a young girl who literally had no idea what she was doing. She had to go out of the room several times to ask another doctor. Now to bring this whole thing into perspective. I am now getting emails and text messages for other pets. I feel bad for the owners of these pets because they’re not getting the information because I am. I have called them and forwarded the text and emails to them and I’m still getting them. I called today to speak with the office manager and got the runaround, they tell me she’s not available and then tell me that she said this and then changed their speech real quick so that I didn’t pick up on. I feel that she didn’t want to talk to me. I will not be going back to this place, not only are they super expensive but I do not feel they are qualified. Also, a note any medication that they have prescribed to me that was anywhere from $40-$80. I got it Costco for a fraction of the price. Keep that in mind when you go to this place.Update: after calling and talking to Courtney and Kim, they took care of me and my pet. They went above and beyond to have me come in and get him fixed. I appreciate their time and for listening and doing what they could to make him well.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say enough about how happy I am with the care Milo recieved at Yorkshire but I will try. This was our first time with a veterinarian and I couldnt be happier. Even though they are not specifically an ER, they were able to make time to see Milo in an emergency. After calling a few clinics near us and receiving apathetic responses, Yorkshire was quick to calm a stressful situation with compassion and empathy while quickly giving us a time-frame for Milo to be seen. We were greeted with urgency for the situation while helping us remain calm. We were immiadley seen by a tech who showed compassion for the situation and given the option to have the clinic call us before conducting any procedures. The vet called shortly after dropping him off with options for care, possible causes, and probable outcomes for the situation. The Vet even gave us options on care to save money rather than suggesting every procedure under the sun to make more money. We were greeted with friendly smiles and genuine care when we went to pick up Milo and the staff came out to say goodbye to him. You can really tell the staff genuinely cares about animals at Yorkshire rather than this being another job. The Vet followed up to see how he was doing and suggested alternate care instructions for different scenarios. I cannot recommend Yorkshire enough if you want the best care possible for your fur baby without worrying about getting into financial trouble. They even took a picture of Milo after he was feeling better and sent it to us so that we knew he was in good hands

Experiencia fantástica: They are an amazing vet. I was recommended them from a neighborhood Facebook group a year ago when I needed a new vet. I do not regret picking Yorkshire. My dog is very nervous when she's at the vet. She still was here, but the staff treated her very well. They listened to all her concerns, gave her treats to help calm her down. The lobby is laid out in such a way that allows for animals to be somewhat separated from each other. This is very nice. I absolutely recommend them.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot recommend this place enough! The staff were kind and attentive, despite being extremely busy. The clinic is clean and welcoming with a large waiting area so that animals don’t have to interact if they don’t want to. Dr Clark took the time to sit with my husband and I and answer all of our questions thoroughly, despite the fact that she was busy and it was late in the day. She was patient with my concerns and did not push any unnecessary treatment on our pet. We just moved to Colorado Springs and we definitely found our vet!

Experiencia fantástica: The best vet clinic we have ever been to. The doctors and staff are incredibly friendly the facility is well run and are always on time. By the time I even get my dogs to the door they've already got us checked in. They don't try to sell us things or procedures that we don't need and are incredibly fair in their pricing. Experiencia negativa: UPDATE - This vet hospital has been bought out by a national chain and immediately raised their prices on every service. Even the techs will tell you the whole environment which once made this a trustworthy place for providing care for my best friend, now is one where they will upsell you and sell products that have been shown to harm your pet. SERIOUS TURN-AROUND NEEDED TO REGAIN TRUST! The front desk is always staffed by friendly, welcoming staff. The docs are all top-notch and have great rapport with my best friend. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a vet to try Yorkshire...you will never be happy anywhere else!

Experiencia fantástica: We took our dog Lena in because she is very thin and appeared to have some urinary issues. They did a work up on her and were able to find out what was wrong and treat her successfully. We take all our animals to this vet and we absolutely love them.

Experiencia negativa: First off, I want to state that Dr. Rathmell was phenomenal! We truly appreciate all her time, patience, kindness and expertise! The office staff were very nice and I never had an issue getting our dog in to be seen in a timely matter. The reason for the 2 stars is twofold: (1) - We received the wrong medication for our dog. Thankfully, I caught it the same evening. When I called the next morning, they stated to bring it back. When my husband arrived early the next morning, they did not apologize for the mistake! They thanked us for finding it and bringing it to their attention and provided the correct medication. (2) - In that same visit, there was an over charge for a different medication. On a previous visit on 11/15, we were prescribed pain meds for $70.08 for 30 pills. On 11/30, we were given the same prescription, same pill, same mg but this time only 25 pills and was charged $98.50. When I brought this to their attention, they were unable to explain to me why I was getting less medication for more money. They did however, give me 5 more pills and credited my account $28. After this experience, I just lost trust in them. Make sure you always advocate for your pet and double check everything!

Experiencia fantástica: All of the staff are friendly and very caring. They have Saturday appointments available which is really helpful since I work full time. My dog has received exceptional care there. The vets we have seen are so kind, obviously love their job, take their time with you, answer all your questions, and are very thorough. It is a bit more expensive than the first vet we went to here, but we switched for a reason, and in this case I feel that I have definitely gotten good value for excellent care. I am happy to trust my dog’s health to them! Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: I have always had good experiences with Yorkshire, but it seems something has changed in the last year. According to other reviews, there has been a change in ownership and it is HIGHLY evident. For starters it is nuts that when you try to request a “sick pet” appointment, the soonest available is over a month out. A month! It’s laughable. And extremely ridiculous. I can understand if you’re requesting an appointment for a routine wellness check up or non-urgent care, but if an animal is sick they simply cannot wait a month. As someone who works in healthcare, there should always be room on the schedule for emergency and last minute appointments, because when an animal is sick a MONTH could easily be the difference between life and death without treatment, depending on the illness. When we finally were able to get my dog in (after I had to call multiple days in a row to check for cancellations - because that’s super convenient for any pet owner with an 8-5 work schedule??), we saw Dr Jones. We were seen in a timely manner, and Dr Jones seemed to be very thorough, coming up with a differential diagnosis and running the tests for a possible virus as it is more dangerous than kennel cough and we needed to rule it out. However, I had brought my dog in for a cough that I presumed to be kennel cough (we had to follow the clinics precautions for kennel cough, we talked about it multiple times during the appointment, AND they prescribed me antibiotics and a cough suppressant as if she did in fact have it) and when we finally received her blood work panel 4 days later, the note we received from the vet essentially said “she’s all normal, good blood work results!” with no discussion of next steps to properly diagnose her condition. I have reached out several times to discuss what we need to do next, and to figure out why exactly a kennel cough test wasn’t done, or even presented as an option (as the receptionist let me know today they usually don’t do these tests upfront because “they’re four to five hundred dollars”….) Sorry but that’s the whole reason I came in? It feels as if this is a negligent misstep in the office’s care for pets, and I’m highly put off that they somehow completely ignored the entire reason we came in for the visit. The clinic has made no effort to right their wrong by offering appointment times for me to bring my dog back in, and are seemingly putting her condition on the back burner as if it’s not a big deal - might I add, multiple vets in the springs have been sending emails to their patients about a volatile respiratory illness that is going around in the springs that has caused several fatalities already because the etiology is unknown and the pets are developing pneumonia and requiring critical care if the condition goes undiagnosed and untreated. I mentioned this in one of my emails to the clinic to express how serious my concern is, and the email has been ignored. I left a voicemail last night since I am unable to call during the work days while I’m with patients, and expected a returned call this morning. By 11 am they still had not attempted to reach me, so I called and the receptionist told me the vet would call me back, but there have still been no attempts to reach me. I’m extremely disappointed in the downfall of this clinic, and in the way the staff have dismissed my concerns and failed to provide adequate care for my pet. I wouldn’t recommend establishing care for your pet here, because when you really need them they won’t care.
