Expect a Wait Time: Our Animal Hospital is not your typical veterinary practice. Due to our affordable prices and the individual care we provide each animal, we experience high-volume traffic.
Deposit: Some wellness visits and surgical procedures require a non-refundable deposit. The deposit will be applied to the client invoice at the time of service.
The Animal Hospital (Animal Health Center) at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay was opened in 2012 to provide our community with affordable options in the care of their pets. The full-service, high-quality hospital can accommodate medical care ranging from routine vaccinations and health checks, to diagnostics and special surgeries.
In 2014, we became Florida’s first non-profit animal hospital awarded accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), considered the gold standard in the industry.
By bringing your pets to our hospital for care, you also support the plight of homeless pets as any proceeds from the Animal Hospital will benefit the mission and programs at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.

Experiencia negativa: I adopted a kitten from this shelter about two months ago. Prior to adoption, he had a cyst, and I was told it had been taken care of and that he was fine. After bringing him home, I discovered he had Giardia. It took two veterinary appointments to finally clear the infection. About 10 days later, I noticed swelling again on the same side where the cyst had previously been. I called the vet services and left four voicemails without receiving a return call. I then scheduled an appointment online through the website, only to receive a call two days later informing me that online scheduling is for vaccines only. I was then rescheduled more than a week out. Today, I arrived for my appointment and was not taken to the back until an hour and a half later. It has now been over two hours past my appointment time, and I am still waiting in the exam room. Not only did I adopt my kitten from this shelter, but I am also using their veterinary services. Every visit has involved at least a two-hour wait. This is extremely frustrating and feels disrespectful of clients’ time. What is the purpose of scheduling an appointment if patients are consistently waiting two, three, or even four hours before being seen? Please do better.

Experiencia fantástica: These are kind and compassionate people that truly care about canines and all other animals. I was able to get an appointment within 24 hours, both times I tried. They make the rising cost of owning a pet more attainable. I make the trip from Riverview, where many animal care centers just take advantage of people and their wallet, all the way into the city to go here. You will have to wait there, but they are considerate enough to make that clear on the website, and again in correspondence. An added plus is the sheer volume of animals they see. This exposes the Vets to a wider array of illness and better prepare them to differentiate between different illness’s that may have a similar presentation. AND! Prices are unbeatable. I paid $42 for what would have cost $200 in Riverview.

Experiencia negativa: Honestly, waiting 4 hours, after appointment time, beginning to end, for simple check ups and vaccines is deplorable. Yeah you have a good price but it's a serious disrespect to those who plan out their days ahead of time. If you accept pets without appointments, they should wait for availability.
Experiencia fantástica: This is the place to bring your pet. They offer a vast array of services, and at affordable prices. Loving the cat waiting room, so that our feline babies are completely isolated from dogs and other animales. Plus, they offer human and pet treats. There is also a nice outdoor area up front with tables and benches under some trees by the road. Awesome experience.

They have reasonable prices for ANY animal liver to get any pet looked after from vaccines to operation this is your one stop shop
Experiencia negativa: Called ahead to ask when kittens can start vaccines. I was told 6–8 weeks is typical. The receptionist confirmed that this clinic does kitten shots at 6 weeks, so we booked an appointment for when the kittens were 6 weeks. I called a few times leading up to the appointment just to confirm. Left voicemails. Never got a call back, but I assumed all systems were go. Day of the appointment: checked in, gave the kittens’ dates of birth, no concerns raised. Receptionist put ID collars on them, tech takes them to the back. Everything seems normal. Professional. Functional. About 10–12 minutes later, the tech comes back and says she’s not sure why the appointment was even allowed. She explains she called the director, and the director said they don’t vaccinate kittens until 9 weeks old. Which is impressive, considering the appointment was scheduled, confirmed, checked in, and halfway completed before anyone realized that. Apparently the clinic’s policies only exist once the animals are already in the back. They offered for me to bring them back at 9 weeks, but at that point confidence was gone. I understand misunderstandings happen, but this was just incompetence. No ownership, no communication, no one aware of their own rules. Just people passing the problem upward until someone finally said “no,” after everyone else already said “yes.” If someone is in charge here, they should probably step up. And if no one is, that honestly explains everything.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been bringing my animals here for the past 12 yrs. They always go above and beyond care for my babies.. You can truly see the love they have for each animal they come in contact with. I myself won't take my babies anywhere else!
Experiencia negativa: the workers there are really rude, i overheard a lady asking when would she be seen and she politely asked but once she turned away to leave the black worker with the slick back and another girl made a face and started to talk about her, i didn’t like that because the patient was kindly asking a question and the girls retaliated in a rude way behind her back, definitely need professional training.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff are very caring and helpful. Everything is explained in detail, but if you do have a question, they answer it.You can tell that they love the animals in their care. They have a great intake and discharge set up. Things move along nicely, but you don't feel like you're being rushed. You feel good knowing that your pet is in good hands.
Experiencia negativa: I waited around two hours for a 10:00 AM appointment and wasn’t taken back until around 11:47. Once there, I was told that unless I consented to having my pet spayed/neutered, you would refuse to treat her teeth. That is not medical care, that is coercion. It feels less like a veterinary clinic and more like dealing with a socialist country where compliance with your ideology is required before services are rendered. I genuinely thought your clinic had something good going, but this experience showed me otherwise. If this is how your nonprofit operates, it only reinforces why so many people view nonprofits as scams hiding behind “good intentions” while stripping owners of choice.
Experiencia negativa: I had the worst experience here. Let's first start off with the fact that it was impossible to schedule an appointment in the first place. Nobody there picks up their phone and so you have to leave a voicemail. They will only call you once a day to return your call and if you miss it, that's it. You missed your window of opportunity to schedule an appointment for that day and now you have to leave another voicemail to have them call you back and the whole process starts again. I ended up having to email back and forth to schedule an appointment which also took forever because they will only respond to you once a day. But thankfully I had emailed for an appointment because when I showed up for an appointment with my two dogs, they told me that I had only scheduled an appointment for one of my dogs. I told them I had scheduled the same appointment time for both my dogs and told them I had booked it through email. And so they ask for proof and to see the email, which came off a little hostile but it's fine and I showed them the whole conversation and even had the name of the receptionist who SUPPOSIDLY booked the appointment for both my dogs. When they verified the proof, they acted like they were doing me a favor in squeezing in my other dog for her appointment. As if it was my fault that my second dog didn't get an appointment, and I should be grateful to them that they're willing to get her in. So I would at this point recommend scheduling by email because they will give you attitude even if it's their fault they didn't book the appointment. So apart from that, we were there for 4 HOURS. Someone came in the room to take the dog's weight about 30 mins after we got into a room, and so we were given false hope it wouldn't be too much longer. We were so wrong. We had to wait 2 HOURS to see a vet. The vet was the only good part of this whole experience, she was nice and good with the dogs. Once the vet left, they had us wait in the room to check us out. I thought it would be fairly quick, but NOPE. I was waiting another 30 mins and after waiting that long, I decided I would just make my way to the desk to check out. When I finally got up to "oh, they're not done typing up the paperwork yet, just wait a little longer" I was about to lose my mind, how long does it take to print out a receipt? I didn't really say anything and just went back to the room where we had to wait another 20 mins for someone to give us the receipt. Only to see that they had mixed up the names of the dogs and what services they got... so then we had to wait even longer for them to print out a new one. When we finally got to pay, I thought this nightmare was over. But when my sister and I were about to leave, we turned a corner to go into a lobby and this lady's dog charged and barked at one of my dogs. My dog got scared and barked back once, and just hid behind us. But the receptionists, immediately came charging over to my dog and made us feel like it was our fault. I'm gonna say it's probably because we had pit bull breeds with us. But they kept demanding us to stay back and wait and it made us feel very uncomfortable. Especially because they didn't say anything to the lady and her dog who was the one who originally barked and lunged at us. Regardless to say, I will never be back and the staff is highly unprofessional.

Instead of paying a head of time to streamline the process, you get your dog back with shots in a crowded waiting room with other animals going crazy... just to wait to check out. Reason: Dr needs to type up notes. Process is broken. Way way way too much animals in a waiting room as well. Staff is fine but not enough to offset a terrible setup.

Experiencia negativa: My foster dog had swelling on the side of her face, drooling heavily and her breath was absolutely awful, none of this normal for her at all. The rescue had me drop her off Nov 5th with a list of things to check on the dog and I made sure that it was noted in the record before I left to check the swelling, her mouth and her teeth. Later that day a rescue volunteer brought her back home with only dewormer meds and said that nothing else was wrong even though the poor girl was still in pain and something obviously was still wrong in her mouth. A friend and I decided to try to look in her mouth and to my horror there was a piece of wood stuck across the roof of her mouth, actively bleeding, oozing and infected! It took a hard yank and I was able to pull it out. She is much better now after antibiotics and carprophen for pain that I got at another vet. I am very disappointed in the vet (Dr Konda on the dewormer Rx)who examined her, how could they miss this? Did they even OPEN her mouth?!? The poor pup spent a stressful time at the vet in pain and suffering all day and went home with just dewormer meds. I know this is a low cost clinic but this is a completely unacceptable lack of care.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely incredible!! They are pretty busy, but you can see why. Excellent service. Excellent care. For me, a stray kitten showed up at my door at the worst time. He showed signs of needing a vet within a day of being with me, while I looked for a home for him. His bill was less than half what it should have been, but was still was completely unexpected and at a very hard time for me. They ended up helping me apply for pet assistance,and that paid the entire bill. I will still need to pay his follow up, but it should be substantially less and I will have a week to actually plan for it. I'm so grateful for them. They blessed us and really turned this kitten around. Now he is pain free, running and playing like a kitten should. I will be forever thankful to the staff at this amazing vet clinic!! Thank you!!!

Experiencia positiva: I have been taking my dog to this site since she was very little, 5 months old. They have been very helpful with me and my dog. I have given her all her vaccinations and done the follow-up care until now that she turned 1 year old, and everything is fine. Now she has a bulb with a white spot in the middle of her abdomen and I am worried about that there and it seems like a foreign body that has grown in a certain way. I have been calling and nothing and I went in person where they could not attend to me and they told me that there were no appointments that the same ones were for the year that it would be good to go somewhere else. I know that they are under renovation but they must have MORE CONTROL BECAUSE WHAT I SAW THERE WERE A LOT OF PEOPLE AND MESS. I NEED TO CHECK MY DOG BECAUSE I THINK SOMETHING IS PUTTING HER LIFE IN DANGER, SOMETHING THAT NEEDS TO BE CHECKED AS AN EMERGENCY AND NOT MAKE IT SOMETHING DANGEROUS THAT REQUIRES STRONG INTERVENTION....I am sending you a photo of what my dog has so that is can take her to place that is not so expensive to care her .Thank you

Experiencia fantástica: They do the best they can. I like how professional each staff member is. Even with the difficult customers who don't listen, especially with leashes and check in line location. I give them all props for keeping their cool and always taking care of every customer. They go above and beyond when the times get back up and have seen my share of them knowing and understanding our impatience as customers. Experiencia negativa: Appointments mean nothing! If you don't have hours to waste, go somewhere else. We had an appointment at 12:45pm, and after 2+ hours of waiting we had to leave. After arriving at 12:40pm, we checked in. Because my puppy was sick, we were asked to wait outside. We were told that they were running a little behind because a doctor called out sick, and she said it may be about an hour wait. Well, around 1:40pm we were brought inside to a room. 30 minutes later a vet tech came in to ask us questions about why we were there. After 30 more minutes of just waiting in the exam room with a sick puppy we had to go. I told the front staff we had to leave and they said a doctor was just about to get my chart if we wanted to wait… but she couldn't say how much longer it would be before we would see them. Because we didn't plan to be there for 3 hours, we had to leave. So, after having a scheduled appointment for a sick puppy and waiting over 2 hours, we did not see a doctor. During the time we were there, many people left and new people arrived in the waiting room. I understand they were short staffed and falling behind schedule, but this was ridiculous and disorganized. I would rather them call me in the morning to cancel or reschedule. We will not be coming back, and do not recommend the place at this time. They need more organization and better procedures in place to account for these issues.
Experiencia fantástica: I had a large population of feral cats (I have a woods behind my property) and I must make a review of there employee - Adam as he has been very helpful to me in instruction and assistance of trapping since November of last year to date 21 cats/kittens that I have been able to do the TNVR program, without his help I would not of been able to do this, he is helpful, full of knowledge and very professional and kind! I have been so impressed by their help that I have now put it into my budget to donate to this program.

Experiencia negativa: Zero stars! Adopted our puppy from the humane society and because they already had her medical records we continued to use them. The god is mine, I adopted her, put her in my name, her files are in my name but bc my husband took her to one appointment apparently he’s become her owner and they tell me he has to call for appointments Ava records. The staff is rude and condescending. The place is always dirty. They refused to provide records and health certificates for us to be able to change vets. They don’t offer water to the dogs on the 100+° days. She’s come out of the last two appointments scared and cowering and it takes her hours to recover. Guessing they don’t allow owners in exam rooms because of mistreatment. Won’t be going back.
Hi - fast-track appointments are appointments without their owner, so they can be seen and returned to you faster. If an owner does not want to do that and would feel more comfortable attending the appointment, all other visits are scheduled with enough time for that.

Experiencia fantástica: I took my kitten to get spayed today & I had a very good experience. Everyone was so kind & helpful. If you want your pet to be in good hands, bring them here. I called local vets for prices & the Humane Society was the most affordable for me. Have your pets spayed or neutered, it's the best you can give them.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been coming here with my dog for a long time they used to be amazing, now i just don’t think so, Fast Track appointments are supposed to be quick so i asked for one and they assured me that we were getting fast tracked but since when did they start not coming to grab your dog while they are outside and why were we waiting 1.5 hours to be seen and why do i hear the vet techs laughing and making fun of the fact i needed a fast tracked appointment for my dog who’s not the friendliest all while we were just waiting for some yearly shots. Honestly they made it seem like me and my animals were a problem and like they were annoyed that we were there, after this i’m considering changing vets especially since they do this every single time i bring my animals here.

The people there are so friendly and helpful- they call back the day you leave a message and they truly believe that all animals deserve a chance to have a happy life with their owners. Experiencia positiva: Be prepared to wait- a long time- the staff is friendly, the facility is clean. Also takes along time after vet is finished for the front desk to call u up to pay. Probably due to staff continually leaving their post. Overall appointment was 2.5 hrs. They messed up the service requested and tried to over charge. Just know what u r getting. They adjusted after much discussion. Other than that it is a great place at reasonable prices.

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly, Competent staff..very organized. Great prices a third of what local vet charges. Parking is bit iffy..it's under construction currently. They were willing to do any service we asked for when our dog got a vaccine...checked his ears, trimmed nails, brushed teeth, and sold us flea meds at a reduced price. You have to be patient as there is a wait and our pup was very hyper about many other animals around him that he wanted to check out. Everyone must keep dogs on a leash and cats in a crate. Saw them hurry to get a cardboard crate for a kitten in his owner's arms. Only negative was not getting t o talk to doctor yourself, all is done thru a tech. But they listen to you and address your concerns. I had to do same thing during the pandemic as the techs came out to the parking lot and took animals to vet.

Experiencia negativa: We went in for an appointment for a checkup and shots, paying $180 and when we got in there they charged a fee just to look at our dog because she wasn’t spayed, they don’t address health concerns just “make sure she’s healthy for shots” and if you want them to you have to come back for another $50+ appointment.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been taking my rescue here since she was found on the streets at 6 months. She was all skin and bones with almost everything under the sun wrong with her. Everyone was kind and worked hard to bring her to 100% health. She is now a 7 year old healthy and happy dog. Thanks in large part to this center every year.

Experiencia fantástica: I returned to the Humane Society after five years for medical treatment for my dogs and was very pleased with the treatment by the staff at the front counter, unlike the former staff who were rude and absolutely unprofessional. My visit started with the wonderful help from Anbriene that helped me get my appointment to when I arrived this morning and was helped by Kristen who helped me with the records for my dogs and Cynthia who helped me check out. Dr. Konda and Kim were so gentle with them giving them their shots and treatments. The Clinic has really improved and it's a pleasure to go there now. Thank you

Experiencia negativa: Overall very disappointed Came here to get vaccines for my cat and had scheduled an appointment for 1:30. Arrived 15 minutes early to check in, proceeded to wait 2 hours before my cat was even taken back to be given 2 shots. He was back there for around 15 minutes before being returned to me and then I proceeded to wait another 40 minutes to be checked out. I am aware that wait times would be longer than average as their veterinarian services are more affordable, but this long of a wait time is just completely unacceptable. The vet techs and front desk were also very rude and not helpful.

Experiencia negativa: 0 STAR EXPERIENCE waste of time.....they never answer the phone, when you leave a message they call back with an undecipherable message. You can never make an appointment because their message system just circles back to the original message. At this rate, if my pet were to have an emergency, they would certainly die before they could get the proper care here. Humane Society has become nothing more than a charity cause for the wealthy with NO BENEFIT TO THE PETS WHATSOEVER!!!
Experiencia fantástica: The dark blonde female veterinarian let my baby suffer in pain for over three hours once she heard that I didnt qualify for per insurance she immediately disregarded my precious chocolate got an attitude told me a very rude voice to exit the building while I was crying and in distress and my baby and they will bring my baby out to me a nice guy working next door came out and checked on me and chocolate so thankful for Dr.Smart who so wonderful and compassionate and adddress my need and address the issue and genuinely apologize for my experience thank you Dr.Smart only because of him I give 5 star

Experiencia negativa: I brought my cat in today for complications 8 days after dental extractions and they DO NOT CARE to help with anything post-surgery. He’s barely eating, not drinking, sleeping all day, possible fever, shaking his head, diarrhea but not quite an emergency yet and their response after being unable to fully examine him since he was nervous without me - which I warned them would happen if he was brought back without me - was to go to an urgent vet for diagnostics as they don’t have any time for him if I bring him back medicated. I would have pre-medicated him for the visit had anyone called me back earlier to confirm he could be seen today but I didn’t want to put unnecessary strain on his kidneys while he’s not feeling well to begin with. I had called hours prior and left a voicemail with the front desk, the surgical lead, and emailed the AHC general email and Ben the wellness coordinator and no one contacted me for hours until I decided to just drive there to see if they could examine him. I genuinely do not understand why the discharge paperwork they send you home with says to contact them if any of the exact complications he’s experiencing do occur because they clearly don’t care what happens to your animal post-surgery. The lady at checkout also tried to send us home with dog food which I luckily noticed before leaving the parking lot. We’ve had problem after problem with AHC including a misdiagnosis from one of the vets. I regret ever bringing my cat here.
Experiencia negativa: I made an appointment 2 weeks prior for 9:00am for my dog to get updated shots and heartworm meds. We arrived about 8:40am. We waited until 10:10 before being called to a waiting room. Then we waited another 40 minutes before walking out. I have a busy schedule just like others and do not expect to wait 2 hours after a scheduled appointment without being seen. I rather go elsewhere!!!
Experiencia positiva: Very well professional, straight to the point, although no one picks up the phone when you call, when you do leave a message with your name, pet's name and phone number, they do call back! It can be the same day or the next day so don't worry!

Their minds were already made up as they proceeded to tell me I'm 5th in line but because your dog is older we can't put her under anesthesia. I'm glad I did not wait but 30 min to ask them how long it would be and they tell the above. Depressing

Experiencia negativa: I brought my dog there at 0900 @ 0930 I asked how long it might be. " They stated we noticed your dog is older and we probably will not treat her. I'm glad I asked instead of waiting a lot longer and paid money for them to tell me this. They don't want to put older dogs under anesthesia is what they said. I'm not sure of the cost but was willing to consider the price anyways. I thank myself for not wasting my time.

Experiencia negativa: Let’s start with the positives. The staff and doctor were efficient and decent when we finally got back to the room. We saw Dr. McCoy who was knowledgeable. The negatives. They have their organizational structure backwards regarding patients who chose to pay extra to go back with their animal verses their “Fast Track” where people chose to not go back with their animal for a cheaper rate. We had an 8:30 and 8:45am appointment to go back with our two cats. They quoted us a 30-1 hour wait. We did not get called back until 9:45am! There was another patient waiting to be called back for their 8am apt. that experienced the same miserable wait. If people are willing to pay a premium to go back with their animal then they should honor the apt set and not tailor to the ones that chose not to pay the additional fee to go through faster! (You wait to check out too “in line.”) Secondly, the doctor said one of our cats has a heart murmur and suggests that we seek a cardiologist and at home service for her nerves, as the condition of heart disease could worsen. As a responsible pet owner that gets their annual checkups, rabies vaccines, and FVp I also showed the doctor our cats allergy medicine we use once per year from our previous vet that had expired. He told us that we would have to bring her back in when the symptom occurs. Wait, you just told us to seek at home visits and a cardiologist for her health and stress. Why would you have us bring her back knowing what this will do to her health! Logical thinking and organization is not at this location. Everything is total calamity here from staff to medical and about the bottom dollar. To add, never have I paid for a bio hazard disposal fee for a rabies vaccine-anywhere! We brought all paperwork, health records, and prescriptions. Make sure you do if you want the three year rabies vaccine to save yourself from coming back here. My cats take Revolution Plus monthly too. You can get it cheaper elsewhere along with any other prescriptions they offer. Research before coming. Lastly, they won’t give you the tag and only a receipt showing proof if you don’t reside in Hillsborough County. Never have I heard of such an inconvenient concept. We paid for the services. They said we’d have to go through our county to get a tag. Should’ve just told them we did and give them a random address. Couldn’t hurt after the miserable wait time. ***Dont be late either, only they can, or they’ll take your deposit per animal!*** We won’t come back. We just moved here.
Experiencia negativa: I had an appointment with 3 of my dogs on October 31, 2024 for 11:00. I was greeted at the door because I had three dogs and it was like over 80 degrees outside. I told the girl it's to hot out here with three dogs we need to come inside. My dogs were moving a lot because they were hot, but didn't bark or go after any dogs. Then after registering, I'm told we have to wait in an car with a.c. and it's over 80 degrees outside. I asked how long do we have wait and the lady stated she didn't know. I told her I will just take my dogs somewhere else because it's to hot to be waiting in a no a.c car. The girl like I understand, but really didn't give a shit because she is paid hourly and can give to scents if one of my dogs gets over heated and have a seizure waiting for an unknown time for shots. I have been coming here over 10 years and this will be my last time. I can make appointments.and get better service for my dogs elsewhere.
Hi Pierre - We have looked into this. Unfortunately, when dogs are overactive, it makes it difficult to keep them in the lobby, and our team looked for kennel space and rooms to put them in before ever asking you to wait in your car. At that time, there were no other rooms. However, if you had stated you did not have AC in your car, they would not have asked you to wait in there, of course. Our team has tried to be in contact with you since you left but has had no luck reaching you.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent hospital. Although there was a decent wait time, the staff was extremely friendly and generous to address all my concerns. They made sure that I was well informed about all the vaccinations that my cat needed. The easiest way for me to get things done fast was to let them take care of my pet. Because if you go with the pet, the waiting time is usually long.

Experiencia negativa: They are slow, over crowded on most days, and they were unwilling to help my daughter get her college paperwork in order for her to have her ESA with her on campus. (They filled it out precious year) she got the dog from them. They still would not look at the paperwork. A complete waste of time going to them. Update: still a horrible place with incompetent staff, my daughter took her dog again in June to have shots updated as she was moving to DC and needed to find a doggie day care soon after arriving in DC. Well, fast forward to today, the paperwork provided by this vet did not include expiration dates of any shots. Since the animal hospital cannot afford to pay someone to answer phones, Doggie day care appointment had to be canceled costing me over $60 in Uber fare. Only to also find out that her dogs shots were not updated when she was there in June, and no her shot are expired. You need to do better!!!

Experiencia positiva: Pretty badly managed place when it comes to appointments, wait times for check-in, and checkout. The service is reasonable and usually takes 2 hours to check-in to be completely done. I think since there is no option in the area at this price, cost is the only reason to come here..but if you value your time and want better service go to another location.
Experiencia positiva: I had to wait hours in dirty rooms for my appointment. Setting up an appointment was so difficult. They don't accept phone calls so you have to step up an appointment through email. They thought I wanted a vaccine appointment when I clearly stated I wanted a health visit via email. Then when I got here they kept asking me about vaccines. I'm willing to pay more for a better experience. The whole experience wasn't great but they helped in the end. So beware their prices are cheaper but you can get better service and pay slightly more elsewhere. Their shelter is awesome but the hospital could honestly use some improvement.

Experiencia fantástica: Please support the humane society. My animals live to a very old age. The people are caring hardworking nurses doctors staff a labor of love from them. I take all my pets there and these are pictures of my pets who lived up to 20 years old. Please spay and neuter they give you a cage with a deposit on Tuesdays. Thank you humane society.

My main issue is that every time i book an appointment there is some kind of problem with staff (they write the wrong date down, I never receive confirmation, or when I call to confirm no one ever answers the phone or calls back so my appointments either get cancelled or marked as no-show!), and I always have to rebook it. Currently on my 3rd try to get an appointment for one of my dogs. Wish me luck

Experiencia positiva: Conflicted on how to review this one. On one hand everyone is super friendly and great with the animals. On the other you are basically always going to wait an hour past your appointment time. I don’t understand why they have appointments if they don’t honor the time. It gets worse because once your pet is done they make you wait 20+ minutes just to check out. This needs to be fixed.

Experiencia positiva: The people here are nice, and they have a clean waiting area. But we had an appointment, I got there 20 minutes early to check in just in case they were behind or busy. There was only a couple other people in the waiting room. After check in, we didn’t get called back until exactly one hour past our original appointment time. We sat in the waiting room for almost an hour and a half. Not sure what the point of scheduling an appointment was, if they made us wait an hour past it anyway. We had other things to do that day and this definitely put us behind schedule.

It takes them a long time to return a call back. But other than that they’re awesome!! Staff are all kind & caring. The place is as clean as possible. Their prices are decent. Experiencia positiva: I had an appointment, and was told I would still have to wait. I asked what the purpose of having an appointment was if the wait time was still going to be 40minutes. I was then given the answer of "I don't know, they're backed up". Then I was told that if I wanted to be seen in a room that the wait time would be even longer. I opted out of being seen by the vet and settled for the vet tech. I ended up waiting the 40 minutes in the lobby. When the vet tech came out, she was alright, compared to the interactions I seen the other techs have with the other patients. I addressed my concerns, and they were met, and my cat was only back there a total of 5 minutes or LESS, HOWEVER, when the vet brought my cat back to me, she gave absolutely no explanation or breakdown of the appointment. I was in the restroom and she handed my cat to my husband and child and walked off. She didn't say what the next steps where regarding a follow up, what exactly was done, did not give the weight, did not give any insight. The trade off left us up in the air. Obviously, I knew I had to wait to pay, so I walked up to the counter and asked what I needed to do since the original vet tech was out of sight at this point. They instructed me to wait to check out. The tech didn't even ask for the fecal when she went back. I had to give it to the front desk during checkout. So, I ended up being called to check out about 10-15 minutes later. This was probably the best part of my visit. I wish I could give this girl particularly all the credit because she was so nice and answered all my questions the tech didn't voluntarily provide. All I remember is she was sitting on the far left with a grey and white sweatshirt and she had pretty long pink nails. I explained to her that the transition happened so fast and if she could answer the questions that the tech did not provide. She was extremely helpful, patient with me, answered all my questions, made suggestions based on my questions, and set me up with my next appointment without any issues. She gave me instructions and was just all around passionate about her job. That was clearly evident. The vet tech on the other hand was just there to do her job and go home it seamed. I gave one star off because of the vet tech herself. I just was not thrilled with her at all. Otherwise, everything else was fine, aside from an unexplainable wait time considering an appointment was set well in advance. My advice to future new clients. Be prepared to spend at least 1 hour to 1 hour and a half there even if you have an appointment. I don't know if they accept walk ins, but if they do, I wouldn't recommend at all. This place does get pretty full. I went at noon on a Saturday. Pricing is good and probably the best in town.

Experiencia negativa: Go elsewhere. Made an appointment and waited patiently for 75 minutes only to have them take 2 people that came in after me before me. Then you have to wait 20 minutes for them to give you the invoice. Been in and out of humane society clinics in many places with no appointment in less than 15 minutes.
We apologize your wait was so extended. When emergencies come in we have to take them first, we hope you understand.
