Experiencia fantástica: It was awesome! I think my tech's name was Elisa and she was great. From the minute we walked in we were promptly treated with courtesy and professionalism. Great operation, no punn intended.
Experiencia negativa: Psycho Stalker working there, calling me after hours screaming at me and yelling out my address. My pets are established patients and when I called to see if we could get an emergency appointment, I was told to call an ER - I said but you guys advertise ER - the girl got huffy and hung up. I called back to ask them to email my pets records, but the girl wouldn't let me speak and hung up. I tried a third time and another girl answered - said the doctor had to review before they could release the records then hung up. How vindictive can they be, especially during an emergency. A few hours pass by and the girl who answered the first two times calls my daughter screaming at my daughter, thinking it's me, and yelling out my home address. The psycho girl then has another psycho female call my daughter to yell and scream. This entire time I'm at another vet clinic. Obviously, this young girl, is emotionally fragile, immature, unhinged and probably needs a 'safe space' because she's never been disciplined. I did email management asking them to get the name of my stalker but they're playing it off as they can't seem to find the person. Really, they can't look at the schedule and see who was working? In summary - your private information is not safe there. The employees will use your personal information such as name, address and phone number and share it with others!
Please know that I take the concerns you outlined very seriously. The behavior described would be completely unacceptable from any member of my team. I will be conducting a thorough internal review and will address any wrongdoing identified. In addition, I will be reinforcing expectations and completing retraining with our entire team to ensure situations such as this are handled appropriately and professionally.

Experiencia fantástica: I came I’m the other day absolutely scattered and worried about my dog and as soon as I walked in I’ve never felt so listen to and reassured about my concerns in my life. The receptionists were amazing, my technician was very professional about handling my dog but still happy uplifting spirits, and the veterinary was absolutely lovely and answered all of my questions and I left my appointment feeling more confident about my dogs medical situation. They’re all awesome ladies!!!!!

From what I have experienced they truly care about the wellbeing of your pet, they are honest and compassionate when it comes to care. Scheduling and communication is a breeze. Experiencia fantástica: Received loving and compassionate care provided by Dr. Mastin on helping my cat cross the rainbow bridge. It is the most difficult and painful day for a fur baby's family and their love and respect to help you through this process was the best I've ever experienced. And Dr. Rhodes provided excellent care throughout his long life! Everyone on the staff is friendly and helpful-open on weekends and accommodates last minute appointments.

Experiencia fantástica: We have been to WVCE on a couple occasions. During our last visit there was a bit of a scheduling mixup which was frustrating, however, it was adequately rectified. Dr. Espinoza always demonstrates great concern, patience and knowledge for our big chubby cat. Amy & Megan were also top notch, and our cat is on the mend.

Experiencia fantástica: Update: The care we received during our elderly dogs, final months and ultimate passing was above and beyond what I would expect. Compassion, care, loving. I am so very thankful for the care we receive at Westchase Vet. We moved here after our previous vet couldn’t get us in for a sick appointment for 48 hours and suggested Blue Pearl Emergency. I said if I was going to BP then I’d find another vet. We had been there 5 years! Westchase Vet always works us in and has the most caring staff. My Louise can sometimes be aggressive out of fear and they are so calm and patient with her. They truly love animals and it’s evident in how they communicate and how they treat the pets. They talk to her!!! <3 I also love that they’re very clear on all costs before they treat. No surprises. I can’t recommend them more highly.

Experiencia negativa: Decent vet but recently it has been SO expensive for basic exams. I have been taking my dog here since I got him in 2022 but one of my recent visits has turned into a money pit. Any basic medications like antibiotics that have been prescribed for him are being sold for twice as much if not more than anywhere else. They have always been really good so I don’t know what changed.. When I first started seeing them, it was a lot more affordable than it is now. Unfortunately I think I will be looking for another vet. If money is no object for you, it’s a great vet. But if you are like most people right now and have to keep an eye on finances, maybe look around for more competitive pricing on basic exams/meds.

Experiencia negativa: I took Toree who is 17 years old because of swelling and pain in her belly region. She was given a shot for sedation so she could be calm for exam and Xray. I was told by vet it was a hernia. Because of her advanced age I did not want to put her through a painful surgery. I inquired about euthenasia at home for her. She was given nothing for pain. I decided to wait a few days to see if her condition changed and it did all the swelling went down and she is back to herself. I came close to ending her life for what was clearly a misdiagnosis. She will never go back to Westchase the incompetence is appalling. If you have a pet don’t take them to Westchase.

We understand how frustrating it can feel when there isn’t an immediate diagnosis and when further diagnostics are needed. Based on the radiographs taken, our doctor suspected a possible hernia but could not be certain. Out of concern for your pet’s comfort and safety, she did not want to risk causing additional pain or injury and therefore recommended a referral to a specialist for a second opinion and further evaluation.

Experiencia negativa: Do yourself a favor and request a quote for vet services prior to visiting. I was charged $81.00 for a "health check" when all the vet did was put a stethoscope to my 10 month old GSD chest. That's it. That was the health check. Then they charged me $160.00 for a cytopoint injection for a 50 lbs dog. That's twice what i paid a year ago. Then there was a $10.00 recovery fee. Probably for the needle. In total, it cost $257.00 for a single cytopoint injection. Lawyers cost less than that. Time to go someplace else.

We want to assure you that we only perform price increases to cover and reflect the rising cost of operation. In the time since your other pet was here about 6 years ago, the cost of a Cytopoint injection has gone up about $60 as the manufacturer has increased our cost during that time. In addition, as this was your puppy's first allergy flare, an office visit is required so that we are able to ensure we are providing an appropriate diagnosis and treatment plan. If you have concerns about your pet's treatment plan during a visit, please don’t hesitate to voice your questions at that time.

Experiencia negativa: Prices have skyrocketed (almost double from 5 years ago). My salary didn’t double in 5 years, so I shouldn’t have to pay double for vet services either. They have lost my dog and cat as patients. Last year I asked them to schedule teeth cleaning for my Shih-Tzu. The Dr stated he didn’t need it, his teeth looked great. Fast forward to June 2025. I asked to get his teeth cleaned. We did bloodwork and today he got his teeth cleaned. First off, the base price increased about $100. Second, they notify me he needs 6 teeth extracted. After telling me a year earlier his teeth were great. It cost $1575. I complained to them and I’m not as angry about the theivery going on with prices. I’m upset we could have had his teeth cleaned last year and maybe my dog wouldn’t have to go through the pain of extractions and discomfort chewing. They fed me a bunch of BS saying it’s expected with small dogs that they have teeth issues. Yes, but if that’s the case, when a dog Mom asks to make an appt for a dental cleaning, instead of saying it’s not needed, ensure and educate the Dog Parent(s) because small dogs have teeth issues. Then she said even if we did the teeth cleaning last year it wouldn’t have changed the fact that teeth would need to be extracted. That makes no sense. Then why am I getting my dog’s teeth cleaned every year? She was just making stuff up as she went along. Run from this place! Between the thievery, cluelessness and excuses, it all adds up to subpar care with a hefty price tag!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Loren Gassler of Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice was the most compassionate and helpful Doctor that we could have ever asked for. She was so professional and kind in how she guided us through the process of putting our beloved dog down due to a long life lived. He was unable to get himself up and enjoy his quality of life had declined but it’s still a hard decision to make. She helped us to end his suffering in such a kind way and was so understanding of our situation. The process went better than we could have ever imagined. I highly recommend reaching out to Laps of love and requesting Dr. Gassler because she was beyond our expectations as a compassionate Doctor and she made the process so smooth that we felt at ease when our beloved Dog left for cremation. Thanks to Laps of love and Dr. Loren Gassler for the best service and support we could have ever asked for.
Experiencia fantástica: My 13 year old cat was extremely sick so we had a couple trips to Westchase Vet. The 2nd appointment was quite grim. As a last ditch effort, we signed off on X-rays/ultrasound. Unfortunately, Tommy had lesions in his pancreas, his liver was also failing. At that point, the doctor and I spoke about quality of life and the realistic expectation to keep fighting. There were tears in her eyes and tears in mine when we decided to put him at peace. I got moved in a quiet room with Tommy, everyone got to say their goodbyes, the staff was gentle with him, the doctor was so sympathetic and supportive, and Tommy passed around 6:15 PM on Good Friday. While I’ve never had to go through something like this, I was devastated and felt the staffs pain with me, I do believe he is in a better place and was ready. To all the staff, I do believe you are all truly angels. Your compassion, care, communication, urgency, mindfulness of my financial restraints, and love and support you all radiate is what got me through this hard loss and I know Tommy would have felt the same. There aren’t enough words to explain how much you all carried us through this. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Experiencia fantástica: My 13 year old cat, Tommy is currently being treated by Westchase Vet and I am very pleased with the level of care. Instead of jumping right to testing everything, they provided 2 financial breakdowns of cost options with services that I could hold off on if it didn’t work with my budget and then the higher priority breakdown of what was deemed most important in the moment. That alone told me they don’t push for sales on services/treatments. Clear aftercare instructions, tips, so heartwarming to my cat, truly care, quick and efficient. Prices can be tough for majority of people just like any other healthcare but this staff will work with you and what you can do without judgement. They care about these animals thank you all!

Experiencia fantástica: I have two senior boxers that have been seeing Dr. Castro since they were babies. She and the rest of the staff at Westchase have shown my dogs nothing but love, compassion and empathy. They explain everything very clearly, check in after visits via text, answer emails and text messages sent after hours, and always keep our finances in mind when treating our sweet boys. I truly cannot say enough good things about this clinic.

Experiencia fantástica: I couldn't have asked for a better experience. After a local vet in Spring Hill found a bladder stone in my cat, Harmony was able to do surgery for more than half the cost. AND they did so without an extra appointment. Transferring the records from the previous x-rays and vet exam was enough. My girl has never been happier. I would put them up against any vet in the Bay Area.
Experiencia fantástica: For the past 3 years, we had a great experience with this office. We saw at least 7 different vets, a multitude of techs, and a great reception team while taking our baby here. They were always caring and respectful, can make last minute appointments, and have a texting option when you need assistance. We primarily saw Dr. Yakubik over the past year and she is wonderful! She clearly cared about our boy and really helped us get a few chronic issues under control. I can't recommend this office enough!

Experiencia fantástica: Took my 4 year old German Shepherd for a wellness visit, vaccines, and some flea medication. There were plenty of appointments available to choose from unlike many other vet clinics. The staff were very friendly and showed my dog plenty of love. My vet doctor was very nice and informative with any questions I had. I wasn’t rushed out or felt like a burden.

Experiencia fantástica: I made an appointment to establish care as I recently adopted a second cat (Penny) and they were very thorough and thoughtful with her care plan. Penny was comfortable and in good spirits throughout the appointment, as well as when she got home. The clinic was timely and helpful on getting any needed information or health records submitted. Experiencia fantástica: I just moved back to FL and unexpectedly needed a vet asap. I found Dr Rhodes at Westchase Veterinary Center and couldn’t have been happier! Her and the whole team there were amazing with Abigail (12+ year old dog) and also kind and understanding of me during a stressful time. Abigail had to be hospitalized for a few hours and Jessica came out at pick up and showed me a video of Abigail snoring like a full grown man in the kennel. After a scary 48hrs Abigail is doing wonderful! Thank you to the whole team!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Rhodes saved my baby Fluffy by letting me know my little girl needed to be hospitalized immediately for IV fluid therapy due to her high kidney numbers (and I was just going to her for acupuncture). I had just left her regular Vet at Banfield (Double Branch location) and they did not make that suggestion whatsoever! To say that I'm angry with them is beyond an understatement. I will never be returning there. I don't know how long I get to keep my baby on this earth with me due to the awful and unfair disease she got way too early in life, but every day is a gift and I know because of Dr Rhodes care & concern for Fluffy even just have met her once, she gave her a fighting chance. Forever grateful to her. Her staff is wonderful too...so caring, kind and friendly. I will be transferring my other 2 babies to WestChase Vet as well (and I've been with Banfield for over 20 years).

Experiencia fantástica: Very happy I took my cat here. I found the staff to be gentle and extremely caring. Even though my cat was terrified, they were able to calm her successfully to get blood for lab work. They were also quick with the results which is important when your cat is not feeling well.

Experiencia positiva: I wasn't planning to leave a review, but I keep getting emails asking me to so I might as well. I am very grateful this place took my frog in when no other place could, especially since they got me in fast. If you have a frog or amphibian that you need vet care for I would advise AGAINST going here. Im sure they do a great job for other species but I was quite disappointed with the care of my frog here. First the vet tech was handling my frog poorly (without gloves, and he dropped him on the table), that 20 seconds of poor handling cost me $86 as an evaluation fee, and the vet hardly looked at my frog. the vet told me they just looked at a frog forum (the exact same ones you can find online) and they completely dismissed the problem and said nothing was wrong with my frog, unfortunately I believed that and now I have more than one sick frog because the issue spread. When I asked for medicine just in case they provided me some, but not for the correct issue so I basically paid marked up prices on a half used tube of medicine that won't help my animal. The staff were fine and the place was welcoming which is always important for me, when finding a vet clinic. While I was grateful for the attempt of help I will not be back. Exotic pet owners, do your research on finding a vet who specializes in your animal so that you can get the help you pet needs.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been taking my dog to this office for about 3 years now. I have constantly considered changing vets because of so many negative experience and the feeling that all they wanted was money and didn’t actually care about my dog. My dog has epilepsy, which they prescribed medication, that she can’t suddenly stop. I sent a refill request for her meds to the pharmacy got a called back saying the prescription was expired despite 3 refills left so they would call the vet to get a refill approved. Well the office never responded to the request so I called. Whoever I spoke to initially told me the script was now invalid because I had an overdue balance I was never informed of. After telling her what the pharmacy told me she said they would contact the vet, call the pharmacy and get back to me. After waiting for a bit I called back the same person answered stating they haven’t gotten a chance and would call me back she never did. I called back again another day and got the same response with no resolution or call back. Well my dogs medication had ran out during this time and I awoke to my dog having a seizure this morning. After it subsided I called, explained what had been going on, my dog had a seizure for the first time in over a year, and if they could refill her prescription. They said no, they even said no to a 1-3 day emergency prescription saying I needed to come in to get to get tests done before they’ll do anything. Mind you they have refilled the prescription several times without doing blood work. I eventually relented and said I would bring my dog in because she had another seizure while I was on the phone. When asked when I would arrive I said whenever my dog’s seizure stops and it takes me 20-30 minutes to get there. They responded that in that case they wouldn’t see her without an appointment?? I’ve spent so much money here and have waited long periods of times before being seen for her scheduled appointment because they had emergency situations they needed to take care of first several times. But when my dog is having an emergency it didn’t seem to matter unless I could pay for it. I then said I would just go to a closer vet and the person on the phone just hung up?? After bringing my dog to a new vet, they requested the records from this office and received nothing. I called and said I needed the records sent to the new vet. They said they need “the vets permission”?? To send her records but she was on lunch break and wouldn’t be back for some time. They didn’t care that my dog was having a seizure in the new vets office at that very moment. Why do you need the vets permission, they’re my dog’s records not yours, I don’t need your permission to send them you need MY permission to release them. On top of that my dog hasn’t been seen by just one vet there she’s been seen by multiple vets so why couldn’t they ask one of them? These records were requested a little before 12pm today and were never sent. This is just negligence, they put my dog’s life in danger because all they care about is money. Multiple techs suggested I find a new vet while I was there because their prices were higher than most locations. One appointment for blood work, they brought my dog to the back, tried muzzling her without even consulting me first. This upset my dog and I explain that it isn’t going to work, the vet tech insisted that the vet who has never even seen my dog before required it. Then came back and said they couldn’t do the blood work because she wouldn’t let them put the muzzle on. The vet then came out classified my dog as an aggressive breed and said that I needed to sedate her with gabapentin before I bring her in from now on. My dog is not aggressive, when a stranger takes her away from me and then tries to shut her mouth closed against her will, which most dogs hate and find uncomfortable she’s defensive All this office cares about is money SOME techs and vets are nice. I would staying away unless you like being price gouged and pressured into costly unnecessary tests from people who will let your dog suffer.

We’re surprised by your review as we have always tried to help and make things as easy as possible for you and your pet. Because your dog has epilepsy and requires a controlled substance, we are required to follow the DEAs rules and recommendations. Our hospital policy is to have patients in every 6 months for exams before we can issue additional refills. This has been communicated multiple times. We tried to call you to discuss your balance due, but your phone number was disconnected, so we emailed you as well. If you would like to discuss the matter further, please contact us directly.
Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend this veterinarian office. I had to take my greyhound in for an emergency because he got hold of a poisonous cane toad. I was quickly taken care of and the staff was extremely caring and explained everything to me. My dog had to stay a few hours for monitoring and he was not stressed at all when I picked him up. Thanks to Dr Mastin and Lauren for being there for my hound!

Experiencia fantástica: I brought in my golden doodle 2year old who was having stomach issues for a few days. I met with dr Molly Barr for the first time and she couldn’t have been nicer and more caring. She suggested different food and some meds for a few days. Next day I got a call from the office checking on him. I spoke with a lovely girl and I told her no change . She relayed the message to the dr. I called the next day said he wasn’t any better . Another young lady said she would check on his lab results call me back . He is on another round of meds and still working on getting better. But kudos to the staff there . They are the best by far. So nice, easy to work with. And by far so caring. I know Benny is getting good treatment there . Just waiting on him to get better

Experiencia positiva: My dog ripped his toenail off somehow and I rushed him to the vet. To me it was an emergency. I wrapped it as best as I could but it was still bleeding. I wasn’t taken right away but was told immediately that without an appointment the cost was $161. Not something someone wants to hear when they have rushed there with an emergency. I was eventually put in a room and waited another 1/2 hour. Was questioned as expected as to if my dog has had his shots, heartworm protection etc. The vet came in, was very nice and proceeded to examine, ears, teeth, heart and soon came to the reason why I was there. Ok so my dog got taken in the back where they eventually got the bleeding stopped, bandaged it and sent me home with a cone, 3 different meds and a bill over $350. Ok so in two days the bandage was coming off, I took him back and was actually charged to re-bandage it. The vet did take a look at it and said it was healing nicely. I appreciated that she peeked in to take a look and came to the waiting room to let me know that he was doing well. So now he has another appointment on Sunday to remove the bandage and to see if he needs to wear one any longer. While I appreciate I was able to see a vet on the actual emergency and I know I was worked in I think I didn’t appreciate that I was met with how much it was going to cost. I certainly couldn’t afford it but I will do without something this month to have my dog taken care of. I would like to add, I have spent over $2000 at this practice in the past two years. I like my regular vet and I liked the vet on this emergency, what I don’t like is the exorbitant prices they charge.

You see, my Niko is a Frenchie with the worst luck ever - from red ant bites from sniffing an ant hill, to stray cat brawls in the back yard, freak allergic reactions causing his skin to flare up into painful sores, his back going out and all the pain associated with that… all the way to the basic immunizations and nail clips. I walk in the door a mess and leave reassured that my fur baby has been taken care of by the best! They always follow up and check on him the days after a visit. And most of all, HE loves them - all he’s been through and he still gets excited when we arrive at the clinic.

Experiencia fantástica: Westchase Vet always fits me in if we have a sick pet. This time it was kitty & we were out of town when my mom found one kitty very sick when she came to feed our pets. I called WC Vets & explained everything & they fit my kitty in. My Dgter & her BF were able to take kitty in & they quickly figured out kitty had an oral ulcer on her tongue that was bleeding & gum inflammation from an oral infection. A couple of shots later (steroids & abx), and subglotal pain meds to go home with her & she felt tremendously better. She let my Dgter clean her up & she ate and drank right away. She looked all better the next day. The vet techs Sarah & Kasie texted to check on her & I love that! They did the same thing a few years ago when our senior kitty was at the end of her life. We were able to keep her comfortable & stay with her until the end. We also go to them for once a year checkup & vaccines- which is usually all we need but every now & again one of the animals has an issue and we’re able to get help right away. WC Vets has always been kind & caring when we need them. Picture is after the vet visit. Pre-visit she looked a little pet cemetery -ish.

Dr. Castro is our primary veterinarian and she is wonderful. Our chihuahua Lulu, who is very nervous, stayed pretty calm and she and the staff took such loving care. Experiencia fantástica: I come from out of town regularly to visit family and bring my 10 year old Lab with me. He was in serious pain barely walking so I decided to take him to WestChase Vet Center and they did a wonderful job diagnosing Buck and giving him only what he needed, not extras to inflate cost. They took us same day and were very reasonably priced. I'm giving them 5 starts because I had a 5 start experience and my best friend is now walking normal again which is priceless. THANK YOU to the staff for taking such good care of my baby. Highly Reccomend!!!!! Not to mention they called the next day to check on him! Great great people who genuinely care about your animals

Experiencia fantástica: I WOULD LOVE THE CHANCE TO SPEAK TO THE OWNER PERSONALLY! I came here after suddenly my dog experienced difficulty breathing . I was terrified and this was the only vet open on Sunday they let me come in despite the state she was in they knew the er should’ve been the choice they advised that but I in no way could afford it. They saved my dogs life that day. It was costly but worth it. Emma lived one more week. She was comfortable and eventually she didn’t know who she was anymore . I wasn’t going to let her go drowning by her lungs or losing her mind. We unfortunately put her down. I’m posting these pictures because not only were staff caring and I mean CARING I CALLLED THESE GIRLS DAILY FOR HELP and not one treated me poorly. When we put Emma down I did not realize I would get her paw prints or a letter from Nicole telling her how she knew Emma loved me. I’m taking my dog cali here shortly she’s young I got her a year ago from the shelter. If I’m gonna trust anyone with my pet it’s going to be this place . Thank you all for making a human beings grief a. Little easier to handle. God bless the work you do .

Experiencia fantástica: First time visiting this clinic and to my surprise they managed to squeeze me in the same day. I also love that they open on Sundays! The staff is very pleasant and the Doctor scores an A+. It's the first time I see at a Vet's office how they have a glass block at the reception order. If the light is lit, it means there is a family saying their goodbye to their pet at that moment. As respect, we keep our voices low because we all know the difficult moment that family is going through. I truly recommend Westchase Veterinary Center and Emergency.

It’s so nerve-racking to find a vet office that you can place full confidence in (the bar is very high, I have confided in the same DVM for 13 years because I know what good medicine looks like, unfortunately I had to move away from him and put the care of my senior pets into other hands) Westchase Veterinary Center and Emergency has a WHOLE TEAM of friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, compassionate, competent, skillful, honest, noble, professional, all around EXCELLENCE in veterinary medical personnel for general wellness and urgent pet care needs. Experiencia negativa: I was contacted several times by the front desk stating my dog was due for Rabies shots and scheduled about a month in advance. Came in and the vet tech informed me that she wasnt due for Rabies until Aug of next year. I said great so no shots today then elected to do the $130 wellness check. Vet took her to another room, came back and gave her a shot...$230 later :(

Experiencia fantástica: Today's experience was a very good one. The receptionist that actually helped us sprung into the matter at hand, our beloved pet Molly. She turned a negative response from another employee and turned it upside down and treated us with grace and dignity. The rest of the staff as well treated us well and I'm grateful for the awesome doctor they have. The others were wonderful to my pet and gave her the best send off possible under the circumstances. I'm grateful she passed at a place that has such grace and respect for my pet. Thank you soo much . You guys made an already difficult day better for my family and Molly. We at first took our Molly to our local Emergency Vet in Pasco county. They treated us like lepers. We came in with her dripping blood out of her mouth and was told computer is booting up slow and to fill out a form and the the young lady goes to the back of the office. We were the only ones their at the time. Me and my wife spent the 20 or so minutes waiting while catching the blood from our beloved Molly and not leave any kind of mess for anyone. The young lady never returned to the reception desk. New older lady came instead with an already set negative attitude towards us. Immediately I thought today, at this moment I will withstand anything this lady does and focus on the matter at hand our dieing Molly. She then sat down and took our form and ask some questions already answered on form. She then went in the back and came back with a bill over $600. Called it a plan. So I said to her that we came in here showed you our pet is bleeding badly my wife is here struggling with not making a bloody mess and you have not even looked in my pets direction. Are you going to have a look at her so then we can talk about your plan that you already know the cost of without any knowledge of my Molly who is possibly dieing right now on your floor. She the said without blinking the we will examining your dog once you sign this plan. It took everything I had and to remind my self who I am (Bob Marley's favorite nephew) To quietly collect myself, my wife and our beloved Molly and remove myself from these kind of people. We wanted our pet to be treated with grace and respect if not for me but for Molly in her final moments. We found that with Westchase Vet Center. Today I got a card from them that put an exclamation point of the fact that this place is first class all the way. Drive past the rest and head west, Westchase Vet Center. All the best. Experiencia fantástica: Since moving here 2 yrs ago, I’ve had 2 emergency situations with my Bernedoodle. Westchase Veterinary Hospital has been there to care for her. Hopefully the emergencies can end and she can enjoy being a carefree pup instead and stay out of mischief

Experiencia fantástica: After having a poor experience at Blue Pearl, I took my sugar gliders here on an emergency. I had called over 20 vets offices and none could see me, but Westchase Vet Center made a spot for me due to the urgency. The vet tech and vet were both amazing, careful with my fragile pets. They did everything they could to give my sugar glider a fighting chance, but ultimately she passed. They were compassionate and friendly, and the price was fair for the visit for 2 sugar gliders. Thank you all so much for everything.

Experiencia fantástica: Westchase Veterinary Center is wonderful, they were able to accommodate a same day appointment, because I was worried about my kitty Luna Tuna. They did not make me wait when I got there, so gentle with her, she is much better now. They even followed up the next morning to see how she was doing. I highly recommended them!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone here has been absolutely amazing. We had an emergency with our puppy and they rushed out to the car to get her and immediately started taking care of her. They were all so good when giving us updates in this scary time. Ariel helped us with our estimate and quotes since it was so unexpected and walked us through everything and helped us make the best financial decisions for us she was also our tech and was phenomenal. Dr Dass was Lily’s Dr. and she was ABSOLUTELY amazing. She was so kind, explained everything and really walked us through treatment plans and how she was doing. Sarah the receptionist was also so helpful and was doing so well with how busy it was. Everyone here made a really, really hard experience as easy as possible. I can’t recommend them enough.

Experiencia fantástica: After moving from the NY area to Palm Harbor with my 6 year old Great Dane in the summer of 2019, I did a thorough online and in-person search for a local vet. Westchase Veterinary and Emergency Center stood out from the others for its state of the art facility, well-trained professional staff of receptionists, incredibly compassionate and capable vet techs, and experienced veterinarians. Sadly, I recently lost my dog, but I am so grateful to everyone at Westchase Veterinary Center, notably Dr. Kristi Rhodes, Megan, and Rachel, for providing exceptional and loving care to him for the last three years. From its extensive hours of operation and services to the administration and billing, I never experienced problems or had a complaint. In fact, I often commented to friends and family that I wished my own doctors' practices were as capable and well-managed! On a scale of 1 to 10, they deserve a 10.

Experiencia fantástica: Westchase veterinary is absolutely amazing! I've been taking my chihuahua Peanut there for almost a year now and every time I go there it's a great experience. The staff is very knowledgeable, patient, not expensive, there's never a long wait, they remember Peanut every time we go and they treat him very well. I also love that they play Disney movies in the exam rooms, reminds me of a pediatrician office for those of us who treat our pups like kids lol. Experiencia fantástica: What a great experience!! We are so excited to finally find a doctor for our Baxter Boy!! We had an emergency vet visit over the weekend and needed a veterinarian to see our boy for followup and for continued care since we recently moved here. From the friendly greeting on the phone to Leslie greeting us at our car to bring us inside, we felt very welcome and were put at ease. Leslie did a fabulous job making Baxter feel at ease and was so kind while getting our information and taking Baxter's vitals. Dr Dass had already read Baxter's history and she thoroughly examined him. She answered all of our questions and gave Baxter the best care. She made us aware of several things that are very important to Baxter's health and gave us direction as to how to care for him after his weekend illness. We are so thankful for her and for Leslie and the entire staff at Westchase!

Experiencia fantástica: Westchase Veterinary Center is fantastic! They were able to fit my cat in the same day and they took such great care of her. She is terrified of everything and they were so patient and gentle with her. They even took the time to give me tips and tricks to help her. I am so glad I made the switch to this vet center, they are so helpful and easily accessible for pets and their parents. My cat suffers from severe anxiety and has repeat UTIs, it’s so comforting to know I can reach out with any questions, they even check in to see how she’s doing. I received follow up texts from Rachel, Sarah & Saleeta…they are so sweet! Dr. Castro and Christel took care of my fur baby, they are wonderful! Experiencia fantástica: They took wonderful care of my dog Dudley and we came up with a game plan to help him get better. Experiencia fantástica: The woman checking us in was super friendly. We were on vacation and our dog was sick and we were taken the same day . Staff was friendly , efficient, knowledgeable and I especially appreciated they followed up to see how my dog Lacy was doing . Very happy with my experience and would highly recommend to anyone looking for quality veterinary care .

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been with Westchase Veterinary center since I adopted two kittens years ago. They are awesome. Now I have a pup Milo and they are providing him with the best care. Experiencia fantástica: The absolute best Vet center around. Dr Castro and Emma were so kind and loving with our new rescue for first annual visit. When we moved to Dunedin 2 years we lost our precious Zoey that Dr Castro was so kind to and made her end life comfortable. We never forgot that so when we adopted Bebe we stayed with her. I would not trust any other Vet to care for her

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience! We were not happy with our last vet and brought our German Shepard here today for the first time. Ariel came out to check us in she was so kind and made us feel super comfortable leaving our dog with them. We didn’t have to wait long and they answered all our questions. I would definitely recommend them when we finally found our new vet!

Experiencia fantástica: This vet it’s a wonderful place to take pets that are old and no friendly these people treated my cat Sophie with a lot of love and compassion, my Sophie it’s a very temperamental cat and I got a wonderful experience going to this vet, I just regret that I didn’t find this place sooner, probably my cat wouldn’t be blind and so bad like he is now, many vets that I went were to tough with my cat, I was always asking for pills to take him but not they didn’t give me pills to calm him down, other vets were wanting to gas him all the time and at his age I don’t think that’s good. Thanks a lot Westchase Vet crew your service has changed my days. ❤️

Experiencia fantástica: There aren’t many people I would trust with my hedgehog, Mabel, but the staff at Westchase vet is definitely some of those people. At the drop of the hat, the friendly vet techs are able to answer all of my questions, fit me right in for appointments if we need them, and do their absolute best to provide the best care for the least amount of money possible. I have been a client for a little over a year and have met a few of their providers who are always willing to go the extra mile for me and my Mabel. I highly recommend Westchase Vet to anyone looking for people who will love your animals like their own. When adopting my newest kitten, there was no doubt in my mind that we would go to our extended family at Westchase Veterinarian Animal Hosptial for all of our needs!

Experiencia fantástica: My partner and I just took our cat to Westchase Veterinary Center for the first time, and it is by far the best vet clinic I have ever been to. My cat suffers from a chronic urinary disorder, but they finally gave us the answers we were desperate to receive. They saved his life and kept us in the loop the entire time. The vet called after every single procedure with prices, time frames and updates. They also worked with us to lower costs while providing the utmost love and care to my fur baby. We were met with friendly service from the moment we walked in the door. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great vet.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is hands down the best vet in Tampa & I'm not saying that just to say it. It takes a lot for me to actually leave a review for anything but this is an exception because of how well they treated my cat and I. I asked them if they had any walk in's available, they didn't buy they still snuck me in that same day because they actually showed concern to my cat. To continue, the day after my appointment they took the time out to call and ask how my cat was doing and took notes to tell the doctor. Love this place, affordable and honestly a bargain due to how well they treat you.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband just took our cat Angel in for her first visit here. The people are so friendly and professional and the Doctor was very caring and thorough in treating Angel. The business is exceptionally clean and the process from start to finish, was stress free. Our cat usually doesn't chum up so quickly to strangers, but she was surprisingly relaxed and liked her Doctor! That says a lot. We will be returning when necessary and also with our other cats. Experiencia fantástica: I've been taking my animals to Westchase for six years now - the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, non judgemental, and you can tell they really love our furry friends as much as we do! And last year, they quite literally saved my puppy's life when he had an intestinal hemorrhage. They're a little pricy - but pretty much all vets are, and they really deliver quality service. You very much get what you pay for here, and I would and have recommended them to anyone.
