Veterinary Emergency Clinic of Central FL: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: This place was absolutely amazing!!! Everyone there was super helpful, nice, understanding, and patient! Also I feel like they were priced accordingly . Thank you to all the people that helped us this morning!
Experiencia fantástica: Excellent care. Dr. Are very knowledgeable and very mindful about our feelings. Caring for our baby Tyson it was an excellent experience.
Experiencia negativa: I got here at 11pm and was told there were 5-6 people ahead of me. I told the receptionist that was fine I would wait in my car, she got us signed in. Multiple people come and go with it the time I’m waiting in my car. Two hours go by and I called both are clueless and the gentleman that answered the phone was completely unaware of what was going on. 10 minutes later a room miraculously opens up. I go in not even a minute later (the waiting area is completely empty and people that came after me are long gone) and am sitting in a room for an hour now, still no doctor or technician. I call the front and ask how much longer to be seen because I’ve been in the room waiting for an hour. Another guest comes in with their pet and the receptionist comes into the room and says “we’ll have a tech shortly, they’re doing cpr on another patient.” Except that patient wasn’t in here until 5 minutes ago, a tech could’ve come in during the whole hour we’ve been waiting. She then goes “you can go home if you’d like”………SOMETHING IS STILL WRONG WITH MY DOG YOU ASSHOLE. The tech that eventually came in was the sweetest and super helpful, I appreciated her. I’ve liked this place any other time I’ve had to come here but the team early this morning was extremely rude and not attentive one bit.
Experiencia negativa: They will let you pet die don’t go to them
Experiencia fantástica: We have been here a handful of times for emergency purposes and this most recent time the staff was especially sweet. Dr German did a great job making us feel at ease and was very thorough in checking over my dog, Panda. They also did a great job listening to me and my concerns. We are grateful that they are open when no one else is.. even in hurricanes! This is an emergency clinic so it’s obviously going to be pricier than your normal vet and depending on who shows up wait times can vary. This last time we were the only ones there and practically in and out. Emergencies can be scary but it helps having peace of mind knowing there is someone to go.
Experiencia fantástica: My best girl died at home. I had no idea what to do. They got me right in and took care of everything. They offered hugs and words of love. They even helped take care of some things for me. I will be forever grateful. I would definitely recommend.
Experiencia fantástica: So appreciative of this office. Our cat took a fall and was acting strange - it was 9PM the night before hurricane Milton and they saw her right away. As they saw me pull up they immediately came to the door and took my our cat in for examination. Cleared her and sent us on our way, this gave my wife and I such great peace of mind that night. Thank you ❤️
Experiencia negativa: I've had sick animals before but I have never been to a vets office that the vet didn't come in the room to take a look at the animal infront of you. If the office staff wasn't so nice it wouldn't be so bad. But unless your KNOW your animal is on deaths door, don't go here. My cat wasn't that bad and it was either a $2000 hospital stay with $500 blood work or I put my cat down because it was in that bad shape. I wasn't even offered an option of vitamins at home in a dropper like a previous cat I had this problem with. They only want your money. I saw way too many people walking out with no carrier or extremely upset.
Experiencia negativa: I've taken two of my dogs to this emergency hospital and they have taken my pet to the back somewhere and was told that I couldn't go back there with them. they said that they gave my dogs a medication but they lied, they never did. Then they want to charge you for it. They gave me a prescription a told me that I could get it filled through Chewy, then when Chewy contacted them for approval, they did not approve it!:After I spent $400+ . DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS TO THIS LOCATION
Experiencia fantástica: Thank you to the staff at Veterinary Emergency Clinic Waterford Lakes for your empathy and compassion when we had to put down our sweet girl Bella. Your warmth, peace and empathy means to the world to our family during our visit and her final moments. The vet who attended us was calm, gentle, empathetic and kind while she explained the process to us. Thank you for letting us take our time saying our goodbyes while we grieved her in a private room and coordinating with Pet Angel Memorial Center for her after care. She came home last night just as was planned for her after care to be forever remembered with us.
Experiencia negativa: Would help worse place ever they should close
Experiencia negativa: They delete all their bad reviews, surprised no one sued them yet
Experiencia negativa: Brought my dog in customer service was horrible they had me waiting even though my dog was dying and my dog died 2 hours later would not recommend horrible company that just wants money
Experiencia negativa: They say my dog was good hé died 3 days
Experiencia fantástica: We were so impressed with every aspect of Veterinary Emergency Clinic during our first visit today! Our 4-year-old Corgi, Misty, had an irritated eye that got increasingly worse with home remedies, so our regular vet (East Orange Animal Hospital) recommended that we take her here since it was Saturday and eye problems can have serious repercussions if not addressed early. I called VEC to make sure they weren’t too busy and they were very pleasant on the phone. Check-in went smoothly when we arrived and they told us how many patients were waiting to be seen and approximately what our wait time would be. The waiting area was clean, as was the room where we were seen. The vet tech and veterinarian were very friendly, not rushed or stressed, and did a great job of reading her chart first, asking helpful questions, making sure we understood what the plan was, treating Misty sweetly, and even brought out an estimated bill (high end to low end, since treatment depended on what they found) before doing any testing or treatment. Speaking of which, the bill itself was surprisingly similar to a regular vet visit! We were worried about paying Pet ER pricing, but VEC is vet-owned and they’re clearly in it for the good of the animals (not just to make tons of money by upcharging.) We were seen within two hours (as estimated) and the scan was shown to us (photo below) with an explanation of what they saw, what Rx was needed and we left with drugs. Highly, highly recommend VEC to anyone considering them and we’re grateful to know that this is an option when our vet is unavailable.
Experiencia fantástica: I am so grateful for this practice because they saved my dog's life after she was bitten by a snake. They are compassionate, professional, and competent. I really appreciate the care they gave both my pet and our family. Yes, it is expensive but I would pay anything to save my pet as she is a member of the family. Thank you!!!
Experiencia negativa: Wow, it's Thursday, 8/29, and they removed my "1" review"- AGAIN - This indicates so much to me, they rearrage or eliminate reviews, how they do that is beyond me - other than Mars Candy/Pet care is awfully big. But it just reconfirms for me what I have said, it's a second rate move that is meant to attract dollars, not a great option for most people - - in an emergency, triage stuff - and its after hours, they are a choice that should be considered, if not an emergency or just to see a vet after hours like I did with my now dead cat Chester, WAIT TILL TOMORROW and see a respected vet in your area. That's sad. Which means they can dish it out, but cannot take it, you killed my cat through stupid error - over hydrating him - he dies you send a collector from Banfield on me today - Priceless people !!! Actually really stupid people, that just makes me madder. The only good part of this is that I was clear with the collector - "see you in court". I thought 3000 + dollars would have sufficied them, but I guess the parent company - Mars Candy (really they own all three - Emergency-Banfield-Blue Pearl) wow - what a racket!) says "no" dead cat or not - we want our money - again, save the dunning calls, sue me and I will see you in court, cannot wait for discovery! For the record, yes I am pissed, if you are a pet owner and you bring them in and need some help and you take them out in a plastic bag, and they walked in - no accident, no trauma, no inability to not walk, breathing fine, just wasn't drinking. I just wanted a vet, instead I got zip - not even we are sorry - just a bill collector for something I honestly believed I paid for already - yes I am pissed. My cat was my buddy, not just another animal to make a buck on. Cannot say they are "save all" solution. Maybe in triage, but if not a triage moment, wait a day and go to an independent vet, not a price crazy, money driven, vet. Horrible experience and they will charge you a boatload - if you can wait for real vets - wait, they are not the most sensitive people either - I had a cat who wouldn't drink - it concerned me so I took him to this clinic - he walked in and I needed some expensive direction and was willing to listen, and expensive it was, three days later, almost 4 thousand dollars, they suggested I put the cat down because I questioned how we got to this place. Then I found out - they recommended Banfield for a vet - daytime vet as they only work nights - Banfield - the almost vets, but I trusted them though my cat was now in distress, Banfield then told me to return to them after 6 pm - a real three card monty - then I found out they are owned by the same company, but another priceless moment was then I was referred to Blur Pearl - they are suppose to be the best of the worse and told me it would a minimum of 2000.00 dollars more with no expecttion. of success, really!!! plus another well known vet clinic, which by the way they also recommended, anyway when I questioned them, their answer was to put him down, I said "why", but they had him now on O2, breathing horribly, and my heart broke to see him - their answer was that essentially "best thing for Chester". So if you love your pet like I did and this place after 4k tells you to put him down because they screwed up and over hydrated him and could not reverse it, advice, wait until a real vet can see your pet - oh by the way the company that owns them all is Mars Candy, yes the candy people ! Go figure. Save your pet, save your money, I had a cat who walked in, and I put him down three days later - they feel zero remorse, that''s what makes it all worse. Again they will do you no favor, if your animal is in an accident, I agree roll the dice, if you have an extra day - get that animal to a real vet, maybe independently owned, God I wish I had done that, stay away from the candy makers, to them, it's all about money and they know how to be brutal with your emotions to get it. Save your pet, save your money. David Ruggieri - for my cat Chester, the victim. Thanks and take care
Experiencia fantástica: The service provided to my dog was excellent!!! Will definitely highly recommend.
Experiencia fantástica: This is the type of review I always dreaded making. But the staff at this hospital is nothing short of amazing. Our hearts are absolutely breaking over having to suddenly say goodbye to our Indie girl. The empathy and integrity that was shown to us during the process was just lovely. Thank you to the entire staff. From receptionist to veterinarian and everyone in between. Your kindness, empathy and expertise is what truly makes the difference in this field. It’s worth noting that we care about you guys like you care about us and our kiddos. Thank you for showing total strangers strength and compassion when we need it most. #nomv ❤️❤️
Experiencia negativa: If you dog doesn’t have an urgent critical emergency, don’t come here. We brought our dog in because she would barely open her eyes, was squinting and blinking a lot. We sat in the lobby for over 4 hours while every. single. dog. that came in after us, was seen before us. No one ever came to look at my dog when we got there to even see how she was doing to know if she was okay enough to keep pushing back in the line. We asked a few times where she was in line and never got a straight answer and when we did it was just “she’s next” only to continue being skipped. I understand some cases are more critical than others but another ER vet saw her and it took less than 30 minutes to pump her in and out. I’m a very patient and understanding individual which is why I waited for over four hours but at some point I had to put my dog over this business who didn’t seem to care about her at all. If your dog has a super critical emergency, I’m sure you’d be fine.
Experiencia fantástica: Was in and out! Was the most nicest people treated my baby amazingly :)
Experiencia fantástica: In our time of need, the staff here demonstrated kindness and professionalism demonstrative of the integrity of the establishment itself and the character of those who abide in this difficult job. I can never thank you all enough for what you did for us, what you do and for the lovely card that you sent.
Experiencia fantástica: Thank you for your excellent attention and speed in helping my pet, you are a great work team
Experiencia fantástica: Went in and out! Was greeted immediately, then back. Sanji was greeted as well I don’t what he saw in the back he loved it and wanted to stay with them he got check they sent him meds!! Very informative and I appreciate them not pushing to extra things not needed like other are accustomed to do. Dr. Hamilton was amazing!! Great staff
Experiencia fantástica: This place I will call home because they help me with my dog they are the best places never they don't care about the finance they can more about the patient
Experiencia negativa: I can home from work to a crime scene. My dog large cyst on his tail rupture. Blood everywhere and he was vomiting blood. I call his vet and they was closed. I googled the near veterinarian clinic and got this one. I have 4 kids at my house screaming and crying about the dog. I drove 45 minutes going 100 on the freeway trying to get him there. Blood all over my car. When we get there, they take him to the back. I answered the Vet tech questions. He is bleeding and crying. The tech take him to the back to be examined by the vet. The vet tech came out and told us there was nothing they could do for him. I was what, he’ll know!!! He is bleeding, you can’t stop the bleeding or something. She said no. I ask you can’t give him nothing for the pain, she said know. I said he could bleed to death, she said nothing. I asked her you won’t do anything for his pain, or his bleeding he could bleed out during the night. If you’re gonna let my dog die, at least you can put him down so he won’t suffer. She said let me talk to the vet. She came back and said we can give hime two pills in his tail and two pills by mouth and I have to give the last two pills in 8 hours, plus wrap his tail and that’s it. I said ok. She said before she can do it, I have to sign paperwork. I sign it. She brought me my dog back. He already bleed through the wrap. I told her, look he bleed through that already can you rewrap it? She said no, that’s all his treatment, I need to go to the front and pay. I ask for the Vet. so many times, the Vet refuse to come out from the back where they treat animals. She refused to have a conversation with me and my three distraught kids. We drove home, he still bleeding, crying. We stood watch over him for 8 hours. Took him to his vet in the morning. My dog was severely dehydrated, to the point that his mouth is white, not pink. It was hard for them to start IV. He was still bleeding from his tail. My vet said she is more concerned with the vomiting by the blood and why the ERVet did not help him. We said we do not know, she would not come and talk to us. What kind of vet that does not treat a sick injured dog???!!!!! It won’t explain to the family why and what’s wrong with the dog?
Experiencia negativa: I walk in and ask for help quick and they came took my dog that’s was my everything to me & that was going threw a agonal breathing and ya placed her in the oxygen tank and took her out way to fast and came to the room in 10-15 mins after and told me she was going into a shock mode nd left back to the dog which I had no clue where she was in vet er 24/7! I’m unhappy and will still keep on complaining because ya have killed my dog!!!! If she was in the oxygen tank for 20mins more she would have had a chance I don’t recommend this place at ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Experiencia negativa: My cat ended up dying in my car when I left this place, exactly as the LP that examined him stated. I should of read the reviews before taking my baby here! I called and spoke with a reception by the name, Kalah, before heading out to them I was assured that my cat would be taken care of when I got there explaining to her the whole situation and what my cat was going through. My cat saw his vet on the 27th he was not feeling well and was given subQ injection and fluids, which made him feel better till Sunday, when he started feeling sick again. He suffered from hypothyroidism and I got the call back from his vet on his blood work on the 28th, that he may be going through kidney failure, which was going to be treated by his vet on Monday the 1st. With a care plan that was put together. So I get to the Veterinary Emergency Clinic Waterford on 06/30/24 @ 2pm and they immediately take my cat in and minutes later they take me to a backroom where a nurse came in to speak to me about my cat. I continue to tell her everything, I told the receptionist. The LP then told me my cat was not doing well I asked if they could give him fluids and explain the situation, that he was to return to his vet the next day to be treated for his problems. She continued to tell me they couldn't give him anything till they do blood work and x-ray. I said OK that's fine, how much are the x-rays in the blood? She told me she couldn't give me the price and that once they were done with everything I would know. She then started telling me he's really not doing well and he may not even make it through the x-rays, I continued to tell her please put him on fluids. She told me let me go and check on him and I'll be right back. When she got back she says I'm sorry we have to run the x-rays and I told her, we'll just give me an estimate on how much I will be paying so that I know what to expect. She then continued to tell me she couldn't, and if I decide not to have the x-rays done and and take him home he may even die on the way home. I was so upset on how she was talking, she had no sympathy for my cat whats so ever. I said to her, just give me my cat and I'll pay you your $140 and I'll take him somewhere else. It looked like she got upset and she just turned around and walked out of the room and told me I could wait in the waiting room she made me wait 10 minutes before she gave me my cat back and they wouldn't give him back to me till I paid the $140 So, my 15yr old cat, ended up dying in the car like she said. What I don't understand is why if you knew my cat was going to die why couldn't you tell me to have him humanely euthanized or just listened to me and put him on fluids. We really have some evil people in this world. I truly hope she gets to feel how she treats pets and their owners one day. I also hope this stays in her Conscience for the rest of her life. You know who you are LP!
Experiencia negativa: After $750, totally misdiagnosed my dog with gastritis, gave a shot for pain and nausea and sent us home like they didn’t want to be bothered (it was around closing time when we were done). He got worse the next day and we took him to UrgentVet as it was the holiday and our regular vet was closed. They did X-rays and found IVDD for which he can now be treated.
Experiencia fantástica: This place was absolutely amazing all around. I usually never write reviews but in this case I had to 10/10 recommend coming here if you ever have an emergency.
Experiencia fantástica: This Vet Clinic provided excellent care for my pet. The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and the clinic was clean and organized. I highly recommend them for professional and compassionate veterinary services.
Experiencia negativa: Took my cat to this hospital yesterday they took him to the back for 5 minutes then suggested my cat has cancer they gave me a receipt on how much I would spend to get it done I was trying to figure out what would be the better option when the woman with the black pony tail kept coming in rushing me and suggesting in the rudest way that I either pay or put my cat down … it was a very emotional moment for me as my animal is my family and no compassion was shown I left against doctors orders and took my cat home they then proceeded to tell me they can not guarantee he’ll make it through the night to continue to try to persuade me to make the payment . I slept the night with my cat and took him to another locationin the morning in which they are treating me my emotions and my cat like we matter please don’t go here if you want actual help for your animal
Experiencia negativa: I was referred by my vet who took x-rays and evaluated our dog this morning. This place demanded I bring my very sick dog in to "evaluate" him for $140 before they'll give me a ball park on spleen removal. WHAT?? I just had the exam and my vet was ready to forward everything over to proceed. I offered to give $140 over phone just to give me an estimate. If i didn't already get x-rays and everything else today without referral sure I could understand. I just needed to know how much surgery would cost and I didn't want to make it harder on my dog if we decided not to proceed. I asked what the vet would actually do if I came in. NOTHING more than our other vet did. they just wanted to make $$ on office visit. I can't write on here how i feel. = EVIL!!!.
Experiencia negativa: An awful experience with almost zero bed side manner and tact from anyone but the doctor who gave us a proper consultation. that is the only redeeming part that doesn't make this a one star review. The nurses were entirely tone deaf, especially the one with the damn red and black dyed hair who decided to walk into the room, while we are freshly trying to come to terms with the situation at hand and needing direction, and lead with "okay so what are we doing today, quality of life check or euthanasia?" upon entering the exam room. What in the god damn hell is that sort of conduct infront of a clearly distraught and exasperated family who needs direction? Beyond insensitive and blatantly insulting. And the fact that she seemed impatient with us, she clearly just did not care. It wasn't even busy. It was the dead of night/early morning and we were the only ones being serviced. Again, the attending doctor was the only one who was able toshow some form of empathy and understanding. There was practically zero comforting or understanding besides the attending and somewhat the person at the front desk who managed the billing and check in/out. Do not come here unless you are in desperate need of help, and even then, prepare for a possible road block of insensitivity before discussing with an actual empathetic person.
Experiencia fantástica: Our 3 year old Great Dane Cora was recently bitten by a rattlesnake in our backyard. We are immensely grateful to Veterinary Emergency Clinic Waterford for the excellent care and credit them with saving her life. We appreciate that she was seen and diagnosed immediately. Thank you Dr. Hamilton, Erika and anyone else involved in her care. It was a stressful situation but they were both professional and optimistic which was appreciated. A little more than 2 weeks later she is completely back to normal other than some skin loss on her muzzle which is healing nicely and not as bad as expected.
Experiencia fantástica: Our precious little "puppy" girl ( she's a Persian cat) fell sick on Mother's Day. Needless to say, this was so hard. She was 12+ years old, so we knew she was eventually going to go, but not on Mother's Day! At V.E. the staff were so kind & sympathetic, they gave us the time & options we needed to make the decision to let our little family member go. She was in so much pain & we were heartbroken. We just want to thank the staff at Veterinary Emergency for being so kind & understanding at a very difficult time with us.
Experiencia fantástica: We had a great experience at this emergency clinic. From the moment we arrived, the staff was super helpful, even coming out to assist with our giant dog. Isabel, the vet tech, and Dr. Hamilton were amazing. They explained everything and were very caring throughout the visit. The prices were surprisingly reasonable, even cheaper than our regular vet. We'll definitely bring Theo back here if needed. If you need an emergency vet, this is the place to go!
Experiencia fantástica: I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kalah St.Pierre! We brought our 4-month-old puppy in because she was really sick and wouldn’t eat. Dr. St.Pierre explained all our options, and we decided on surgery. She was so professional and caring, and the surgical incision was super neat. Our little girl is recovering wonderfully thanks to her expert care. The whole office staff was fantastic too—so caring and helpful. It’s clear they all genuinely care about their furry patients. We feel so lucky to have found Dr. St.Pierre and her team. Our puppy is back to her happy, playful self. Highly recommend! 5 stars!
Experiencia negativa: My daughter’s dog was there in a emergency situation the service was very bad one of the machines needed was broken We stated there only for a few hours and only for the x-rays the charge me almost $500.00 dollars and the bill was so high $1,200.00 we didn’t have the money we had to used a credit card Veterinary’s are abusing us because we love our pet’s Please consider people’s when they have their pets sick and no money Prices for pets in need when there sick must be reasonable prices not so high Veterinary heard our voices In need If you agree pass the voice to the veterinary clinics Thank you
Experiencia fantástica: Went in because our doodle's eye seemed hurt and they were very professional and nice! Got seen in about an hr or less, and was told upfront pricing estimate which actually turned out to be less than what the actual price we ended up paying, no crazy surprises. The Vet herself was very nice and explained everything well to us. Would recommend this place to anyone with a pet emergency that is outside of your normal vet hours.
Experiencia fantástica: Our dog was having what I thought were signs of mini strokes. So we rushed her here for an emergency appointment. The office was modern and very clean. All the staff were friendly, and courteous. We were seen immediately. Dr. Hamilton was awesome! She was so kind and very knowledgeable. She explained everything in great detail, which we appreciated immensely. As it turns out, the diagnosis is vestibular syndrome, not strokes. We got an injection, and meds to take home. I highly recommend this office for all your pets emergency care! Many thanks!
Experiencia fantástica: Amazing emergency clinic from the time I called to the arrival at the clinic and throughout the entire visit. As soon as we pulled up the front desk staff came out to assist with our giant dog. I wish I remembered her name but I was stressed at the moment. Isabel was the attending vet tech along with Dr. Hamilton. I cannot express my gratitude enough. Isabel walked us through every option and continued checking in on us as they were doing an exam and testing on our pup. Dr. Hamilton was calm, compassionate, and thorough with her assessment. I found the pricing to be extremely reasonable, even less than our follow up vet visit for similar service. In fact, we will bring Theo back to this clinic if there's a need in the future, whether it's an emergency or not. We found the entire staff to be "on call" and ready to help in any way possible. No one wants to bring a pet to ER, but if you do, this is the place to go!
Experiencia fantástica: I had to take my dog here around midnight on a Friday after he injured himself. The staff was very welcoming and attentive, and took care of him right away. I was very glad to have this option so that I would not have to wait all weekend before he could get help.
Experiencia fantástica: This was my second time here with my cat. First time they took great care of her and second time they were once again super fast and the staff was super friendly. The veterinarian was not only knowledgeable, but kind. Definitely recommended coming here if needed
Experiencia fantástica: Our pup Rusty was there last weekend and we felt well taken care of by the team. They let us visit Rusty during his overnight hospital stay, the Dr's kept us informed of the steps in the process from X-rays, medications, next steps etc. Going to the animal hospital for an emergency is always an emotional and challenging situation to be in, but I am grateful we have resources like this nearby with a caring team that can help our animals and us during this hard time.
Experiencia fantástica: We brought our dog in because he had two seizures less than an hour apart. When we got there we were brought to a room right away and saw a tech very quickly. The staff was super nice and patient with us. Dr. Hamilton was wonderful in explaining concerns and what she recommended. We were extremely nervous to leave him overnight at a vet office other than our regular vet and they reassured us he would be okay. I got an update on him close to midnight that he was doing well which was comforting. Thank you so much for taking care of our bowser buddy ❤️
Experiencia negativa: I wouldn’t take my dog here I would try very hard to hold off. They just wanted more and more money every time they walked thru the door.. they couldn’t tell me what was wrong with my dog even after paying so much money. Almost every question I had they told me that they couldn’t answer my question. They even told me that my dog needed to have emergency surgery or she can pass away.. now update I took my dog to another vet hospital and everything was fine my dog was healthy and didn’t need any type of surgery whatsoever!! Shame on you ppl!!
Experiencia fantástica: This is our second time going to this location and it was a great experience both times. We were in and out in under an hour. We saw Callie and Dr. Hamilton and both were very nice and knowledgeable. They diagnosed our dog and we left with the appropriate medication. Great team, great experience. Thank you!
Experiencia negativa: I brought my dog to be cremated. We paid extra to get his paws printed, and when we went to get the ashes, they said They’ve forgot the paw print and if i wanted the money back. Money is not everything. Nothing will fix their mistake
Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Kalah St.Pierre is an outstanding veterinarian. We brought our 3 month puppy in after he became sick and wouldn't eat. Dr. St.Pierre gave us all the options and we opted for surgery. We were very impressed with the professional way she took care of our little guy. Her surgical incision is meticulous and he's recovering wonderfully. It is obvious that she cares for her furry patients. The entire office staff was very caring and helpful. 5 stars!
Experiencia negativa: Don’t waste your time taking your dog here. Over an hour wait and when I ask how much longer they say another hour. Lack of attention and care for animals in emergency need. Take your pet elsewhere for service.
Experiencia negativa: I have debated for a couple of days whether or not I wanted to leave this emergency vet a review because there are a couple of things I know: 1. Emergency vets are almost always going to be more expensive than regular vets 2. These vets and techs are working graveyard shifts which puts them at risk, and I can't imagine working the hours they do is easy. However, now that I've deliberated and given much consideration to how I wanted to proceed, I think it's only fair I leave this veterinary practice a review after the nightmare they indirectly put me through and their willingness to withhold any treatment, care, or concern for my pet when I brought him in. I came in around 12:30 am on Tuesday (02/06/2024) after my kitten, Sock, sustained an injury after an awkward fall. He was sore to touch, he wasn't getting better after a couple of hours, and he was struggling to do basic tasks like eat, drink, etc. I knew something worse was wrong with him, and I rushed over to this vet in the middle of the night hoping we could help him that night. Little did I freaking know just how expensive expensive was. Also, I did not realize their primary concern would not be what I actually brought my kitten in for. They took Sock into the backroom, after about 30 minutes a vet came out to talk to me. This vet was more concerned with the fleas Sock had -- that I told her we were actively treating -- than the fact that he was in a lot of pain and his leg was possibly broken. This woman tried to sell me on a flea medication called CAPSTAR -- which I now know is an over-the-counter medication, the same stuff they were telling me was ineffective and garbage by the way -- at $20 for a single dose. For the record, Pet Alliance charges $7 for a single dose, and they sell the medication on Amazon for approximately $41 per 6 doses, meaning a single dose is, give or take, around $6.83. I know my cat has fleas, I know it's dangerous, we're dealing with it, that's not what I came for. Just thought I'd do that little math breakdown nonetheless to show how silly their prices are. I will get CAPSTAR on my own accord, thank you very much, please focus on the injury my cat has, thanks. She left after that, and I waited about another 30 minutes for the vet tech to come out, bring me a price sheet that equated to roughly $900 on the low end, $1000 on the high end -- and I know they were hoping for the high end. I told the tech I just lost my job, I'm in school, I can't afford this unfortunately and asked what could we do. She asked me, at 1:30 am, if there was anyone I could call to see if they'd help me pay for this. I told her no, it's the dead of night, and my family is in no position to pay for this either. I then had to begrudgingly apply for CareCredit which I got denied for -- btw, she put in $1000 for the credit which proves my theory they wanted that high end amount. In that price sheet included $300 for a splint if need be, $125 for an exam (which isn't too bad to their credit, but if the exam were actually fruitful and not just them telling you exactly what you already know, it'd make more sense), $342 for ONE x-ray, $57 for an injection, and the list goes on, but in some smaller dollar amounts that add up to the original $900-$1000. As I collected my cat, who was not cared for whatsoever beyond being given a 200mg prescription of Gabapentin which cost me $20, I went up to pay the $145 total I owed for this unfortunately useless visit. I asked the vet tech and the receptionist repeatedly who was more affordable that I could take Sock to. They only recommended Banfield, wouldn't give me any other names. This leads me to believe they have some sort of partnership with them. I had an absolutely awful and disgusting experience with Banfield, if you're curious about how they'll treat your pets, check my other reviews out or look at the location in Winter Springs -- bottom line, I do NOT recommend Banfield, or here, whatsoever and any recommendations to them being more "affordable" are misleading, and they will 100% mistreat your pets, too.
Experiencia fantástica: I had to say goodbye to one of the most beautiful canine souls I have ever known. It was sudden, painful, and I felt lost. I reached out to the nearest emergency clinic I could find, and I was met with very compassionate and understanding staff from the get-go. I couldn't have asked for more from them. I applaud their excellent and consistent customer service. Thank you all for making this gray and major life event slightly easier to process in the best way you know how. Your efforts will always be well-remembered by my family and I. I wish you all success in your endeavors. The way you all are is what makes this field that much more special. Thank you.
Experiencia fantástica: My dog is 7 years old. I never had an issue with her. She suddenly got sick. Banfield suggested she had a foreign object and wanted to do exploratory surgery, which meant cutting her open in multiple places to try to find it. I brought my baby here to VEC, she stood overnight. The staff and Veterinarian DR were beyond amazing!! My baby was home by 7:30 am, no issue and she has been running around. I love that they sent me a picture of her tinker me know she's doing just fine. From the bottom of my heart, I believe they saved my baby!
Experiencia negativa: This place is all about money,no compassion what’s so ever! Besides for one vet and one tech that were not there in the morning, all of the rest were really bad. After paying $2300 they just wanted more and more money and basically let my Cat die by sending her home.
Experiencia negativa: Come ONLY as a LAST RESORT. Thankful they took my pup right in but NOTHING was done for over an hour and half, care estimate was super high $$$$$ but still signed it as we do anything for our pets and upon checking out got an even higher price even though they admitted it was their own billing mistake. They will nickel and dime you to no end.
Experiencia negativa: Arrived and we were the only ones there but they did not immediately come to treat our dog. Then various other animals started to arrive that were deemed more critical than our dog so we over and over again went to the end of the line to be seen. If they just would have seen us immediately rather than making us wait when no one else was there then that wouldn’t have happened. Overall we were there for over 3 hrs just have our dog be seen while he cried in pain the whole time.
Experiencia negativa: DO NOT GO HERE. I wish I had read the reviews before taking my baby in. However I was nervous for my baby and decided to go where was closest. My cat had blood in her urine and I was told she should be seen. I got there and there was no one in the waiting room. I was placed in a room and was told they would be back. But then it was a while and they finally came in. They took my car to the back and did an ultrasound without even seeing if that was ok with me. Which cost more than the visit itself. The vet did not want to answer my questions and continually interrupted when I tried to ask anything. Basically told us she had a mass, didn’t answer questions and said to follow up with our vet. Oh and the whole time, from when they took her back to examine until it was time to leave, they had my cat in the back. Was anyone even with her? No idea. Will not return to this location. I would not trust this place in a true emergency.

Experiencia fantástica: I don't nornally post many reviews but this team deserves it and I am happy to share my experience. My dog Logan, who was 10 years old, out of nowhere, on December 17th he stopped eating and he would lay down instead of walking around every time I took him out that day. I didn't want to wait until the next day because he was a little bloated and looked very tired. As soon as I got to the clinic they thought he might be constipated, just like I did. Never in a million years I would have thought he was bleeding internally and was so sick. He had his annual coming up in January, he was a healthy dog, never had an emergency...he was my soul dog. When the vet came out after some testing, I immediately knew something bad was going on. She gave me the worst news a vet could give. Logan had a tumor either in the spleen or the liver that had bursted, so even if he went through surgery that night, it was going to be a matter of days, weeks, maybe months of suffering. The vet did go through all the options and let me call my husband so he could come to say goodbye. She went through all the options again once my husband came, mind you we live 45 mins away, they let us think about it, they let us spend all the time we wanted with Logan... until they gently put him to sleep and let me hold him as much as I wanted before, during and after. We spent about 5 hours there, and all the staff showed an incredible understanding despite the state I was in, they gave me water after I fell from seeing my soul mate gone, they let me hug my baby until we left. It was the worst night of my life, but I can only be thankful for the entire staff for the treatment we all received and for the wonderful card we just got from them sending their condolences.
Experiencia fantástica: Staff was excellent. They treated my boy very well. It's scary when you have a pet emergency in the middle of the night; especially on a weekend when your vet is closed. It was kinda pricey, but totally worth it.
Experiencia fantástica: At first, I was a bit nervous thinking about those after hour prices for an emergency c-section for my frenchie. Dr Hamilton and vet tech Heather were great. Professional and compassionate these two took my Rosie in, evaluated her, gave me all the pricing information after her exam and took great care of her and her newborn pups. Bless these people working nightshift for those unexpected events.
Experiencia fantástica: Brought my two dogs in after they were attacked by 3 unleashed dogs and they immediately took them back and cleaned the wounds. We had to wait to pick up the one that took the brunt of the attack until the morning after her procedure. They didn't change me for her spending the night as they only had one doctor on at midnight Christmas Eve and fortunately, she was stable. She had to wait a few hours for her procedure, but they made sure her pain was controlled so it wasn't an issue. The price was completely reasonable as she was put under and got stitches in multiple areas. Every staff member I interacted with was so friendly and caring and I really felt that they cared about my girl. I really hope to not need their services again, but I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for an emergency vet.
Experiencia fantástica: My dog had pyometra and went to surgery at 1am. She was in pain and they saved her and I am grateful for their skilled doctors and nurses. My dog was ready to go home the next day after the Emergency spaying and all this happened during memorial day weekend which a lot of animal hospitals and vet clinics are closed. I know not many people have the same experience as I did as all pets are different and I did see some bad reviews but for my case ,the doctor did well as there are a lot of complications with this type of last minute surgery and we are grateful that our pet is alive today and recovering. Keep up the good job.
Experiencia fantástica: I got my puppy spayed at another animal clinic when I came home I found out they left the iv needle in her arm and they never told me anything about it. This is my first puppy, so I was super scared and felt so bad that my poor girl was in additional pain with this long needle in her arm. Thankfully, I called here and they were able to remove it for free and I was in and out in two minutes. Everyone was so kind and even Luna seemed a little bit happier. Thank you thank you thank you!
Experiencia negativa: i went in with a cat i found, i asked them to see if they can check if the cat was microchipped and they said that the cat wasn’t. It was a bummer but that’s what i was there for. I asked for advice as to what to do with the cat. They told me i can take it back to where i found it, or contact rescues and named a few which i appreciated. however, i asked if the cat was a boy or girl, you know, so i can try to find the owners to make it easy for people to tell if it’s their cat or not? the person kind of hesitated and said boy. turns out, it’s a girl and all of my flyers and what I’ve been posting are wrong. I’ve been terrified of cats my whole life but something in me said to help this one. i couldn’t tell if it was a boy or girl as i have dogs, and google was zero help. i depended on the vet for the gender of this cat, and they didn’t even get that right. i would assume if you work at a vet, that’s the least you should know. i took one of my sick dogs here to be euthanized and they were amazing! But with this experience, misgendering the cat, and all of my searches for the owners are wrong, i can never forget. i will only come back if it comes to a point for euthanization of my animals, or god forbid an actual emergency since they are so close, and they will be my last choice, but for now i will stay away.
Experiencia negativa: If you love your pets, stay away from this location. They were quick in telling us our puppy was fine when in fact she was clearly sick. They were also quick to dismiss us and ask for money. The doctor was unfriendly and completely inadequate. Find yourself a better location if you are in need of an emergency for your pet.
Experiencia negativa: Horrible experience on a holiday with my cat that had blood in his urine. Left us waiting for 5 to 6 hours to be seen even though we were told there were only 4 ahead of us. Finally, the vet, who came in talking about "your dog" when it was my cat, and thought we were there for a bruise instead of blood in my cat's urine, boasted about the holiday meal he had while on his lunch break. We got there mid morning and got home at nearly 5 pm. It was ridiculous. Don't take your pet there for an emergency.
Experiencia fantástica: Took my pup right in and figured out what was going on. Also gave safe options of treatment to help with budget, not there is one when it comes to an animal but it was nice and we were able to take Lambo home to recover instead of staying at the hospital.
Experiencia negativa: IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET, STAY AWAY FROM HERE!! After 5 hours they couldn’t figure out what my dog had. She was in a lot of pain and they told me they couldn’t find anything wrong. After I tried to lift her in front of them and she screamed, they took her back again and came with an initial “treatment “ consisting of X-Rays and pain killers for $650!!! And still no clue of what my dog could have. I’m getting out of here just with the pain killer and will take her in the morning to her regular vet!! It took them additional 45 minutes to write the new estimate with the prescription for the oral solution!!The attitude of the Dr is terrible, no compassionate with our pain!! I ended up paying $275 after almost 6 hours just for painkillers!!
Experiencia fantástica: No pet parent ever hopes to take their pet to an emergency clinic but I found myself in that position tonight. Luckily nothing too serious but needed something checked out with my pup. From my initial phone call inquiring about services to leaving the clinic after we were taken care of everyone there was extremely helpful, kind and pleasant! We were taken care of quickly and all my questions answered.
Experiencia fantástica: I had to rush my cat here after midnight during a weekend due to a siezure; i called when i was on my way to make sure they were able to take her in. I arrived and they took her back immediately, i was very grateful seeing her be a priority. They had to keep her the entire next day, i got frequent updates and was notified anytime there would be a change in price. Unfortunately my cat did pass away the following night. they were very kind and helpful, and i was grateful they did everything they could and kept her comfortable. I was able to pick an urn, clay pawprint, ink pawprint, and a patch of fur. They told me it could take 2 weeks before receiving my cats ashes back, but it only took 4 days. Very happy with the care and process after losing my pet. I read the reviews for this place after the fact, and i disagree with all the negative complaints. They were fast, helpful, communicative. It was pretty expensive but that is the normal price for any emergency pet costs. They also discussed other options incase the price was too high for my budget.
Experiencia negativa: If there was a rating less than 1 star I would give it to this place. They are truly money hungry... Our baby had a nose bleed. Very apparent the goal is to drive up the cost of the visit with hopes of overnight stay, this 2500.00 to 3000.00 for the visit. Labs run, wait..... come back, review with recommendations to stay overnight because they want to put in an IV.... (Dog not dehydrated) The words were, we might need to start her on a IV. No reason why, other than this is what she might need. I envisioned if we would let them, I could see a call later that night saying she took a turn for the worst... had to do this or that and the bill would have ended up 5k or higher. Took the dog to another ER two days later and got labs, X-RAYS, nostril cleaning and mouth exam, but a COMPLETE explanation of the possibilities. Regular vet called as she was under and getting treatment. She was unavailable previously, but after verbally explaining the circumstances and issues to her, so walked back inside the ER as the doctor wanted to see us to explain the findings. Identical to regular vet (Regular vet old school and Extremely knowledgeable). Our regular vet called us the next morning after getting labs, and X-ray exams reports and confirmed our baby will be fine and no need for her to see her based on everything provided to her. Her regular vet indicated she will be fine. The major problem with this place is they are a hospital puppy mill so to speak... drive up the cost at any cost to get the highest cost. I will say based on the general lab findings they KNEW there was an infection. Provided a shot but no meds to take home for the infection. Pain shot but no pain meds to go home. Only blood clotting meds Funny how they came to get me fast when they needed to put a cone on her because she was spayed the week before and started licking at her surgery site. She started growling at them. (She didn't like them either) Rottweilers have a keen sense of people. Did I mention bleeding continued after we were home so called back to let them know and their comment was to bring her back and they would try to stop the bleeding however they close in 30 minutes. My opinion, not enough time to drive up the cost. Finally, do not use this place unless you want to spend big money and don't want anything answers.
Experiencia fantástica: Yes, it is expensive to have a pet treated after hours but when my puppy was injured she got top notch treatment and taken such good care of, it gave me peace of mind and saved my puppy from pain, suffering, and further injury. I am so glad this vet ER is available when needed. Thank you for taking care of my NeeNee!
Experiencia fantástica: I was helped in a timely manner and staff was very understanding. They set the right expectations from the beginning and were honest with necessary, and suggested treatment for my dog. Definitely recommend
Experiencia negativa: If I could give -1 billion stars, I'll do it no time. This is not a doctor less a vet emergency. After 3 hours waiting in the lobby and almost 2 in a room, no one came to see our cat. Personal was very rude and they don't care at all about animals. Please stay away from this place, I hope they lose their license.
Experiencia negativa: All they cared about was the money !!! 500$ to walk up to front desk and thousands of $$$$ later… next day told me to take her to the specialty hospital in mainland .. I asked the girl going over the prices and I said that’s a lot of money to be expected to be paid same day before work is done on your animal… I asked what happens to people who don’t have that kinda money upfront.. especially now a days .. she answered with a cold response and said well…we either euthanize your pet or… u take them back home !!!! I was in awe !!! Here’s a place that’s suppose to dedicated to taking care of your pet in need of medical attention and this is what you hear and they do ?? I only went there because I was recommended by another dr b cause it as a Sunday and nobody hardly open … PLEASE don’t take your pets there .. they are heartless and greedy !!!!!
Experiencia negativa: One of the nurses named Crystal which I’m pretty sure she gave the wrong name refused to help me in any way shape or form. Sounded like she’s not happy with her position and couldn’t give me any information about my dogs records. Take your pets somewhere else.
Experiencia negativa: We brought my 4 year old cat in who has diabetes and they informed us treatment for his condition would be $2500 total, but that he was “fixable,” you just need the money… They blamed us for the state he was in when our regular veterinary changed his insulin dosage. Not only are we out of $1000, but also our beloved cat. Don’t go here, the doctors here only care about the money.
Experiencia negativa: If I could have given no stars I would. I waited for nearly 3 hours and vet never even examjned my pet. Vet deemed my pet eas not sick enough to be seen in a timely fashion. Vet tech told me if my pet shows pain vet would give him a pain killer shot. IMAGINE and without examination! I left after 3 hours! I am new to Florida. I will hope to find someone else if necessary. Next day...it is more than 24 hours since waiting 3 hours them leaving because my pet was not sick enough for care he has not eaten or relieved himself. Shame on you!
Experiencia negativa: Emergency clinic- a place you go with your pet if there’s an emergency. STAFF DVM: Lauren Sweeney DVM SUPERVISING NURSE: Jose However , this location doesn’t live upto it’s name. My husband took our 1 year old German shepherd to this location since he had a foot pain and was crying since last night. FIRSTLY- we were not told there’s a wait time. He was put in a room for 5 hours. Let me ask you this, if this was a human child who had to be taken to the emergency room, would 5 hours be ok? If it is, sure. He or she might be dead by the time the doctor comes to see him/her. After this painful ordeal with ZERO update or communication they had the audacity to still charge us $125 and no apology. When I called them all the way from Dubai to get a grip of the situation, apparently DEBRA wasn’t at liberty to discuss it further. Especially when I gave her the example of the human child or herself waiting for 5 hours. In fact, she challenged me to include her name in the review and complaint that has been forwarded. They went further to criticize my opinion by saying ‘you’ve never been to an emergency clinic then I guess’.. really? I am not American, my husband is. And I travel the world for a living. I guarantee you that nowhere in the civilized world have I seen an emergency clinic make you wait for 5 hours. In fact, here in dubai emergency clinic max wait time is 5 mins! Even with no appointments I’ve had a MAXIMUM wait time of 1 hour. And that follows with apology for making us wait and an update as to what our number in line is. I’m amazed and disappointed at the experience. If you can risk the death of your pet while you wait, sure, go ahead to this location.
Experiencia negativa: This is the worst vet “hospital” in Orlando. The front desk lady is nice, other than that the staff has you wait for over an hour for services, their “examination” is visually looking at your dog and the fee for that is $125, additionally if you want tests done for about 2-3 tests (that you apparently can purchase at Walmart) run you about $400-$700. That is not including your medication if prescribed and/or any surgeries. Staff member aggressively walked up and threatened us with “theft of services” if we tried to leave. Lmao, all in all, STEER CLEAR OF THIS “ESTABLISHMENT!”
Experiencia negativa: Waited 2 1/2 hours and still did not have a room so I had to leave and find another vet for my dog. It is understandable to have a wait at an emergency clinic but 2 1/2 plus hours without even being looked at is unacceptable. I was told that there is only one vet on staff and that was the reason for the wait. It should be illegal to call yourself an emergency clinic if you cannot handle timely evaluation and treatment of the animals seeking your care. I’m am beyond disappointed in this place.
Experiencia negativa: This clinic offered to euthanise an injured cat because the owner could not afford to pay an estimated treatment plan for over $2000 upfront and offered a monthly credit card payment after paying over $400 initial exams and lab cost . The vet offered to euthanise the cat !!! The owner took the cat home crying thinking he is going to die at home slowly. The cat is eating and and using the litter after owner bough quality kitten soft food and massaged his injured legs all night . He first could not go to his litter and relieved himself on the dogs pads . But slowly he started to try to go to his litter and he is using the litter box again . Thank God we did not listen to this vet’ advice.
Experiencia negativa: Let see... how many ways can you say horrible? If you take your pet to this hospital, make sure you bring a book and your cell charger because you are going to wait. And wait. After waiting 1.5 hours, I asked for a status. To my surprise, my animal had not been seen. I waited another 30 minutes and was called to one of the exam rooms, where I waited for more than 30 minutes. When we were about to complete the 3-hour mark, I told the front desk that if my animal was not seen in 5 minutes I just wanted her back. Soon someone brought her to me and said she was fine and didn't charge me anything. I wonder if it's because they had done nothing with her while she was in the back being "monitored", which sounded like hanging out and waiting, as I was.
Experiencia negativa: Just lost $125 for nothing. Our dog was hurt falling down stairs, they say she needs X-ray to figure out what’s wrong, so that would be $450. Then they tell me she needs an injection for the x-ray. So that would be another $80. And I asked why, they responded to make her comfortable. She wasn’t crying and was calm, so she really did not need that. We declined and then they refused to do the X-ray. Seriously? So I asked just to have pain meds for her. They said no, not without X-ray. So we left to take her to our real main vet tomorrow. But we still had to pay $125 for absolutely nothing. At least they could have discounted because they didn’t even treat her or told me what was wrong with her. They just take your money!!!!
Experiencia positiva: My parents went on a cruise and I stood with their beloved dog. We all love him so much but he has been sick in the past due to a diabetes. His regular vet changed his insulin dose and he had a seizure. I was so terrified that I almost had to be medicated. We were referred here by another vet where we first took our dog to be stabilized. Dr. Bree was amazing and so was her nurse. They went above and beyond for us and I will always be grateful for the compassion and service they gave us.
Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately, we had a very negative experience at this emergency veterinary clinic. Let me start at the beginning. Our twelve year old chihuahua has had a heart murmur for years with no negative symptoms until just recently. Our usual vet had made us aware of symptoms to look out for when congestive heart failure set in. The other night she presented with labored breathing, so my husband took her in at midnight. While they were very compassionate and provided her the care she needed at the time, they were very adamant that the best course of action was euthanasia, and provided no other course of action. They told him to call our vet in the morning and set up an appointment for that to occur. Obviously devastated, we thought this was our reality. When we were able to see our usual vet, he not only told us euthanasia was not necessary, but provided us with medicinal options to improve her condition. I'm happy to report days later she has much improved and is back to her usual self. It makes me sad to think how many animals have potentially lost their lives due to their negligence. I'm giving them two stars because they did provide her care she needed at the time.
Experiencia negativa: I went on Monday with my cat who had gotten so weak that she couldn't get up. When the vet came in, a middle-aged woman with very short hair and tattoos, she looked dodgy from the start, as in she was literally looking away shadily. She then claims my cat couldn't get up because she had back arthritis, which she felt when touching her back, or so she said. To me, I think she didn't know what was going on so she just made that up. They offered a $600 blood test, but since she claimed it was arthritis, and at the time I dismissed her dodginess, I figured I could just wait to take her to the regular vet the next day. Turns out she was actually suffering from kidney failure, and she needed immediate IV fluids to flush out the toxins that had built up that were killing her, so that she would have a chance to survive. And she did have a chance because cats can come back from kidney failure with PROPER TREATMENT and live anywhere from months to YEARS longer. When we got home that night, she was actually walking again. but it must've been from the adrenaline from the visit and that gave me a false sense of her health, in addition to the vet's comments. This lack of urgency meant that she didn't get the treatment that she needed in time. Be aware, that I had been there once before for my dog, and a different vet was much more competent and compassionate than this short-haired woman was with my cat. RIP Tatiana Dangerous vet, too expensive.
Experiencia negativa: It’s hard to imagine why the staff that works here, with the exception of the two ladies at the front desk, went into animal care. The lack of empathy, eye contact, and warmth was evident from the moment the vet tech stepped into the room. It was therefore not surprising that the veterinarian had had the same energy and dismissive demeanor when examining my dog. Our pets are an extension of our families, and if you’re going to be in the business of providing care.. then maybe try to at least pretend like you do. No one walks into an emergency vet clinic unless they are concerned about the well-being of their pet. Some kindness and a little reassurance goes a long way. You can do better. You should do better.
Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately, despite the word-of-mouth reviews I had heard of this clinic, my experience with them was absolutely terrible. I brought my diabetic cat in after noticing extreme lethargy, lack of appetite, and other symptoms that indicate an issue with his blood sugar or insulin dosages. While the receptionist and initial vet tech were absolutely wonderful, it was my experience with the vet and the supervisor tech that made me unlikely to return to this location. I interacted with the vet, Dr. Hamilton, for all of two minutes and the entire time, she was ready to get out of my exam room. Her answers to my initial questions were abrupt and not really helpful and she shuttled out of my exam room as quickly as she could. When the vet tech brought the estimate in, I was shocked. I had been through this once before with my cat and the new estimate was over 2X the amount I had paid the first time (within the past two years). I then asked the vet tech if the vet could come back so I could ask her some further questions to determine what all was the most necessary on the estimate - I was TRYING to find a way to make it work financially. Imagine my surprise when the vet did not come back into my room - instead sending a rude and condescending supervisor tech to talk to me. She spoke down to me with every answer and, when I expressed the financial frustration with the situation, her response was "if you can't pay what's on the paper, I can't help you." Ultimately, due to the financial aspect, as well as the rude and dismissive attitude of this staff member, I chose to take my cat home and made an emergency appointment with my regular vet first thing in the morning. The icing on the proverbial cake came as I was paying for the emergency exam. The same rude supervisor tech walked out with my cat and made a completely unkind and unnecessary passive-aggressive comment towards me about my cat's health. I was completely taken aback. When we as pet owners take our animals to the emergency vet, it is already a high-emotion, high-stress time - the last thing we need is rude, condescending, and passive-aggressive comments from those who are supposed to be providing help and comfort in that time. I will not be back to this location solely because of this interaction and these staff members.
Experiencia negativa: We took our dog in because she got attacked by a dog. You would think with something as serious as a dog attack they would do a thorough examination of the entire body to ensure nothing is missed. A couple of days later we find a huge wound on her that was hidden by her hair that was clearly overlooked. We called and told them the situation and they offered no sympathy or compensation for their negligence. Simply waiving the exam fee would have been enough for us to be happy. But instead they put my 16 year old Chihuahua at risk for a serious infection that could’ve easily kill her without the proper cleaning and care. I would not trust this emergency vet if you want to ensure they are accessing all injuries, not just the ones that are the most obvious. Take your business elsewhere.
Experiencia negativa: Do not take your pet in need here. Not satisfied with this place at all!!! . I took my 15 year old pug here because she had two episodes that seemed to be seizures. I was so worried. But the dog was just fine when we got there . They took her back for “observation” while we waited 1-1/2 hours to get seen. After that time we asked to get our dog back who was stressed out but fine. We specifically told them 3 times not to put any kind of sedative or anesthesia on her. She is 15!! And a pug!! Who has trouble breathing! After another half hour we were taken into a room and then they took her to examine her. Fast forward another hour. When we wanted an update, they showed up with hundreds of dollars of tests for us to sign. We agreed on one x ray to see if this was a heart condition. It’s is now 10 pm at night , 5 hours later and we wanting to know what is going on. They caught an attitude and sent us home with some antibiotics for what appears to be a bronchitis. Fast forward another half hour and still hadn’t brought my dog. Tried to pass up a plan of 2000 dollars to keep her overnight because apparently she needed oxygen which we declined given what we had seen so far out of this place and wanted our dog back. When I finally got my dog back she was stressed, couldn’t walk, panting heavily and kind of unresponsive. Turns out they gave her a sedative despite us telling them not to !!! I spent all night up trying to calm my dog from the critical state she was in! I thought she was going to die. Who gives a dog a sedative without consulting the owner?? and I suspect they messed up ! Why would my dog need oxygen when she was ok before that ?!! If I had left my dog there overnight I probably would not have a dog right now. Took her to the regular vet and my dog is fine now. This place is all about money, poor customer care! Stay away from this place,
Experiencia fantástica: I took my 4 year old kitty here early on a Sunday morning because she seemed to have a severe reaction to a flea medication I gave her the night prior. I called before coming in at 9am. I immediately got up and left once they said they could see her. I have never seen my baby act the way she was and it scared me to death. She was panting like I’ve never seen an animal pant before and was hiding and had these large eyes in distress. We were immediately seen and didn’t even wait 15 seconds in the waiting room. They immediately took her back to check her vitals and give her oxygen. She had a very high heart rate, abnormally high fever of 104, and was showing signs of a severe reaction to NexGard. They advised to keep her overnight and the invoice estimate was a little steep, but this is my baby. They let me see her before leaving and by that time her heart rate and vitals were improving. I planned on visiting her later that evening but they called just before 5pm and stated that she is okay and received treatment for the fleas that were causing her pain and the toxicity of the flea medication. She was a little tired after she came back home but immediately ate some wet food and was cuddly a few hours later. They advised to monitor her for 24-48 hours and she’s acting normal on the next day. Extra cuddly and happy to be back home! The vet techs were kind even though I was a sobbing mess all day and kept me informed throughout the entire process. The final invoice was also actually much lower than the estimate range given. I can’t thank you all enough for nursing my baby back to health. - Heidi’s Momma
Experiencia fantástica: I never make reviews unless something stood out to me. The Veterinarian Matt is super caring. Staff are all friendly and super caring too. I didn't catch the names of two ladies at the front desk, but thank you to everyone for urgently taking care of my yorkie today. I really feel like this office cares about the well being of their patients & will recommend this place to anyone who is a patient at my pharmacy who has pets
Experiencia fantástica: Out kitty went hypoglycemic during a hurricane, and not only were they open, but they took her in for the night and took care of her. She had a lot off health issues, and they helped us out through a lot of it. Could not be more thankful and could not recommend more!

Experiencia fantástica: My beloved dog Precious passed in her bed Friday, 6-9-2023 while my wife and I were out for an hour. She was 15 and the sweetest dog I have ever had. What a great life she had. I was heartbroken when I found her. She went peacefully on her terms. I needed to find a place to take care of the cremation service for me and found this great clinic open at the late hour. They handled everything for us with the best care and great, competitive price. The staff here are very compassionate and understand what you are going through. You can tell they love pets. The thoughtful staff even sent a condolence card that everyone signed. That was very much appreciated. I'm very pleased. Mike
Experiencia fantástica: Gracias por ayudar a mi mascota, fue rápido y eficiente.
