Experiencia fantástica: This is the best vet in central Florida, hands down. A friend recommended this place to me and I'm so happy she did! The vet techs and vet are super efficient and helpful! They treat your pets like they're their own. After my pet's surgery, the vet called twice in one day to check up on him. Every time I've called them and expressed worry about things that aren't even problems (I'm extremely anxious when it comes to my baby), the vet techs are extremely helpful and kind. This is the first vet I've been to in over a decade that I trust. I don't know how they don't have a perfect five-star rating. I drive past 10 other vets/animal hospitals on the way to them, since the drive is well worth the fair pricing, thoughtful care, and efficient office. EDIT: I just came back here a few months later because my cat has been constipated. Other vets would've taken advantage of my distress and ordered a bunch of tests/x-rays/etc. This vet told me honestly that there's no need for tests yet. He prescribed my cat a laxative and sent me on my way for less than $40!!! Considering this was an "emergency" appointment, I'm shocked it was less than $1000. This is the only vet I trust. He makes pet care affordable to everyone, regardless of the lost profits. The world needs more businesses like this.

Experiencia negativa: My most recent experience here is why I would not go back. I waited months to post this because I considered going back because of the price but decided against it. I’ve been a few times for both my dogs vaccinations as well as one of my dogs allergy issues. Good price for eval & meds but definitely noted each time I went there the front desk was friendly but the guy vet tech is soooo not. Very dry borderline rude & seems like he does not want to be there. My most recent visit, I brought my dog with allergies for his follow up allergy booster shot. That’s what I conveyed over the phone and what they booked. The same vet tech I’ve had unpleasant experiences with came in, administered a shot and then proceeded to start taking a blood sample. I was like um why are we doing that for a follow up booster allergy shot ? He then rudely said to me “are we not doing vaccines ?” I said no that’s not what I scheduled for he just needs his follow up allergy shot. He huffed like he was annoyed at me ?? For whatever reason and then left the room. He came back with what my dog was actually supposed to get and told me either i would pay for the vaccines he administered or i would not receive paperwork stating my dog receive annual vaccines. I questioned why in the hell i would have to pay for someone else’s mistake & declined the paper work. The communication between the front desk and the vet tech needs to improve & in my opinion he needs to be let go or find somewhere he actually enjoys working. It’s sad because the doctor is super nice and you can tell he likes animals but unfortunately I will not be back

From the surly receptionist to the vet tech who tried to add in a last minute $300 “biopsy” charge to an agreed upon estimate, to the fact that they sent home our cat high as a kite on anesthesia, with NO FOLLOW UP. Avoid. Pay more. Go someplace that actually cares about animals and their humans.

I’m just a customer trying to get information and I don’t deserve to be rudely talked to and rudely hung up on for no apparent reason. I need HR to take control of this situation!!!!

Definitely not good for a business when you call 15 times with no answer and when you finally get an answer, the people are super rude. Where’s the hospitality? Where’s the responsibility in your actions? Why work where you have to speak with people if you don’t like people? 10/10 would NOT recommend going here.

Experiencia negativa: If I could leave 0 stars I would. The receptionists at this place have no need to be in this industry. They’re rude, condescending & have no compassion. I had to call multiple times before I got someone to answer and then when someone did answer they hung up on me after asking how they could help. I would NOT recommend to anyone to take their dogs here
Experiencia fantástica: This isn’t my vet but I desperately needed sterile syringes and specimen cups to collect urine for a cat on a Sunday when everything is closed. (The internet says you can purchase at Walmart pharmacy but thats a lie) I walked in and the man gladly handed it to me even though I don’t go to this vet or have an appointment with them. He could have turned me away and he didn’t. My own vet has turned me away without an appointment before. (McAbees Vet, I’ve since left them). That simple kindness shouldn’t go unnoticed, and it will help my cat get quicker results on her urine culture without her waiting another day in pain for businesses to open. Thank you so much.
Experiencia negativa: The only thing that isn’t horrible about this place are the receptionists. Please, find another vet. They killed my dog from pure negligence here. They misdiagnosed him here not once but twice! Caused him to go into heart failure and into kidney failure with both misdiagnoses. The techs have 0 personality and they are not kind to the dogs or parents. The techs and the vets don’t listen!!!!!!!!! I kept telling them my dog was in pain and they wouldn’t listen to me telling me he wasn’t and just had allergies. His “allergies” were kidney failure. Caught too late and he went into multiple organ failure. Please go anywhere else but here if you love your sick or senior pets. It’s cheap but that’s exactly what you get here. I tried to save a couple $$ and it costs me my dogs life.

Experiencia negativa: Took my new puppy for an evaluation, and safe to say I will not be going back. Staff at the front desk was very rude and needs training on how to approach and speak to people. Did not make a new patient experience welcoming at all.
Experiencia negativa: Terrible experience avoid this place and go to another Vet. We took our new puppy to jancy aloma animal hospital and instead of treating us with respect the staff was rude, they rushed my puppies visit and they had an attitude when explaining what we needed to do. The woman who works in the front was extremely rude and unprofessional and yelled at us when we were waiting because we made a simple mistake about how many weeks old my dog was. We shouldn’t leave the Vet feeling disrespected by the staff. Never coming back.

However, the staff had no patience if you had questions snd were not willing to help you in any way.The staff gets upset when you ask them to explain anything. I don't think the person that comes in the room is a vet-tech. They don't eant to be bothered with us. They didn't give any instructions on anything. And God forbid if you ask questions. I feel bad for the good vet that has to work with staff like that.

Experiencia negativa: I would never return to this location. One & done. I decided to take my dog to a different vet clinic for his “follow up” appointment. If u actually care about your animals well-being, dont take them to this location. I took my dog out to use the bathroom as my husband was leaving for work, & he tried jumping into the car & fell out. He had a previous ear infection, in which he fell on that same side, and also began limping. Aloma Jancy was the only clinic with openings for the next day. I made it clear to them that my dog was getting treatment at another hospital for his ear infection & skin/food allergies & also brought the ONLY paperwork that hospital has EVER given me. When I arrived at my appointment the next day, I was greeted with open arms by the lady in the front that works at the desk. The issue wasnt until I was taken into a room. Within 5 mins I had a Vet Tech (Dark skinned male) He was extremely rude. He looked like he didn’t even want to be there. He asked me what the issues are & I told him I had a lil bit of a list, & started going down the list. When I was done, his response to me after he rolled his eyes was “u told me u had a list. U named 2 things. What kind of list is this??” I then told him that the “list” are multiple issues, but they simply all tie into my dogs allergies all together. So yes it’s under 1 category, but it’s more than me saying “my dog has skin allergies.” He then went thru the hospital paperwork & came back into the room telling me I denied a specific testing for my dog. I told him I didn’t deny it. I was denied by the hospital. He then continued saying, “I’m reading right here u declined it.” I reiterated my statement again & he said “ok. I’m just telling you what I’m very clearly reading.” And walked out the room and closed the door in my face as I was beginning to explain their verbiage! He later ask me what kind of dog food my dog was on. I told him exactly “Hills science diet. Lamb & brown rice recipe small bites ” exactly how the bag reads… he then proceeded to tell me. “Telling me you feed your dog Hills Science diet is like telling me you own a pair of Nike’s. There’s a bunch of different brands under Nikes. I asked you for the specific food. Not the brand.” … I then pulled out my phone and showed him the exact bag and told him that I read EXACTLY what the bag says!!! He didn’t say a word before he simply started writing down the dogs food. Later on towards the end of the appointment, I asked the Vet if I could ask questions regarding how I cut my dogs nails. When *Alex* came back into the room, the Vet told him I had questions about cutting dogs nails, and Alex immediately walked out the room and came back in with clippers and started cutting my dogs nails. I accepted it even tho It’s not what I wanted, but I then proceeded to ask how do I know how far back & what part of the dogs quick I could cut, and know it’s a good spot. (I cut them at the end of the quick but they still seem long. And then I took him into a different vet one day and they cut them super short so I always questioned how far I can really cut PAST the quick) . He then asks me why IM cutting my dogs nails myself & that I’m doing nothing besides causing my dog discomfort and to not be at ease. (I almost had to laugh in my head at it because my dog has never yanked his paws back from his nails being cut the way he kept doing it when this tech was cutting his nails!!) Now before this nail cutting, he walked out the room and left the door open for about 10 mins. Within this timeframe, I saw there was a large Doberman that ran past the room with the leash dragging, and moments later I heard yelling and barking between 2 dogs in the lobby. A young gentlemen’s then walked past my room carrying his dog , super upset and yelling at staff. It seemed as if this Doberman attacked his dog. I then saw a review left the same exact day by his spouse about this situation, and now the review is deleted entirely. Why? Who knows. That vet tech is gonna be this clinics down fall 100%. He’s rude, rough & verbally abusive.
Experiencia negativa: Took my dog for a consultation, and the younger nurse/doctor I don't know what he was because he was just rude didn't introduce himself or anything. He came into the exam room, pushed my dog across the table and slammed a paper down, and told me to sign. I said I had some questions first, and he said no you have to sign before I answer anything. When I told him I wasn't going to sign anything before my questions he called me an idiot and to leave. If he treats me like that, and I can defend myself, imagine my dog's treatment.
Experiencia negativa: Very rude staff. Didn’t care to listen to anything i had to say as it pertained to my pet and his history. Then also proceed to talk over me every time i began to speak because he obviously would rather be anywhere but at his job. Waste of time! If you care about your pet, would not recommend spending your time and money at this place. Will not be returning if that wasn’t obvious enough.

Experiencia negativa: Will never go to this facility again!!!years ago was very good but it has changed. My dog had his ear canal surgically opened there and they did nothing but lie about it!!! Post op instructions were incorrect. I am a retired critical care nurse so I know. They told me his sutures would dissolve but I found a good vet who removed 5 LONG undissolvable sutures. If you love your pet NEVER. Take them there!!!!!!!!

Experiencia positiva: Slightly aggravated at the fact I was placed on hold twice and forgotten about, waited for a total of 52 minutes on hold after being told the doctor would speak to me about my cats treatment after leaving him there for the night, we have been in 4-5 days straight with this cat, very frustrating when you’re not sure the outcome of his condition and someone can’t answer if he’s gotten his new meds until closing time when he was to receive them at 4pm and was expecting a call we had spoken about in office with dr pillip today EDIT**** my cat did not make it, unsure if it was the vets office or the type of sickness but ultimately vet couldn’t figure it out and Kitty didn’t make it, unsure what to say of this resolution with my visit Hold your furbabies extra close you never know when they’re going to leave (he was only 4) ***from original*** Also check your pets paws if they had an IV catheter given for the night, they tend to tighten the vet wrap too tight on their arms/paws

Experiencia negativa: The vet is a really good person and the desk worker is also a really good person but the veterinarian technician had a horrible attitude like he didn’t even want to be there. The technician rushed everything and as a worried pet owner I had a lot of questions regarding my dog’s health and every time I asked something he had an attitude. Then the Vet came into the room and “evaluated” my dog which only took lees than 30 seconds for his diagnosis. So I decided to get a 2nd opinion and it turns out the 1st vet was wrong. They also gave my dog a medicine she did not need nor I asked for and was never informed and I had no other choice than to pay it. I have always brought my 3 dogs to this vet and it’s always the same thing but this was the last straw. Fast forward 1 month and a half my dog is fine and the 2nd opinion was right all we had to do was give it some time and it resolved on its own.
Experiencia fantástica: Dr.Pilip is an amazingly caring person and of course an excellent doctor. It is great to have that combination of extreme intelligence and great heart. What a blessing to have him for all the pet lovers. Brenda, the tech was equally good . Folks, I highly recommend this place even if you have to drive a distance.

Experiencia fantástica: We needed a place to bring our kitty for the dermatitis on his back and we found this place and decided to try it because it has awesome hours for working people. We had been wondering if they'd be really expensive because of that, but to our surprise they weren't! When I called to ask questions the receptionist was super friendly and helpful. Later when we brought in Samhain, she and the vet were wonderful with him even though he was a little scared and they treated him really well. He's already feeling better today and seemed to sleep well last night for the first time in a while. I would definitely go back and would recommend this place to all my friends. Definitely check it out, because it might just be a cheaper alternative to emergency care if you need it before midnight.
Experiencia fantástica: Aloma Jancy is by far the best that I have ever been to. And I have hopped around a lot. I take my dog Rowan there. They have a package that you can get where it allows you to come in unlimited amount of times for a year and the exam fee for each visit is covered and the shops are included. Anyways, I am extremely hypochondriac about my dog and they always take the time to address every single concern I have in depth. Most vets just threw my concerns to the side they are very personable and are very concerned with patient satisfaction and the health of the pets. Great service!
Experiencia fantástica: We bought our adopted kitten when he started acting lethargic and his third eye showed. The vet tech and the vet we're fantastic. They did not try to oversell anything, there was no drama. Just caring information and treatment. We were very pleased. After having seen several vets over the years we were nervous about going to an emergency vet. Glad we did as our kitty was able to receive treatment right away.

Everything was explained in detail, from the recommended treatment and reasons for it, to the expected cost. A wonderful experience for a worried "Mom!"

Not only did we find them extremely caring but they explained everything very well and were very efficient in the care of our dog! Not that the cost is even a factor but it is very important to note that they did not try to sell us on necessary procedures or diagnostic testing! We will be moving all of our animals to this hospital veterinarian!

They actually help save my dog from IVDD giving the necessary medication to help and she didn’t need any surgery walking and moving great and was actually able to have puppy’s this year.

Experiencia negativa: I honestly did not have a great experience. I took my dog for a checkup and vaccines. They completely rushed the visit and poked my dog so many times giving him his vaccines. When asking to remove a procedure for an estimate the guy told me to just subtract fees from the estimate myself…. I’m not sure what materials or items are needed for this procedure and another procedure so how am I supposed to know what to subtract from the estimate?… I decided to go to another vet to do the procedures needed and I bring them the paperwork of my dogs vaccines that I got done from here. Come to find out they put that the vaccine date was DUE not that they were completed on the date I took him in. I’m just shocked and disappointed with my visit. I just wish this place was more detail oriented and patient during my visit.

Experiencia positiva: I've lived in Oviedo for quite a while and been to a few different vets over the years. I really like this place. Here is why: 1) Always friendly staff 2) Very reasonable prices 3) Never ridiculously crowded and long waits 4) Vets are very personable 5) I have a rescue German Shepherd, who is still learning to get over her fear of strangers. The vets (I have seen 2 different ones now) are so good with her. They are patient, and know how to interact with her to reduce her anxiety. 6) I also brought my 21 year old cat here who was fading fast. I knew she was going to need to be put down but wanted to see if she could hang on until my daughter could fly home and say goodbye. They gave me fluids and were very compassionate, while another vet at the emergency clinic gave me a very hard time about not putting her down that day. As it turned out she lived another 3 weeks and I am very grateful for that extra time with her. Update: Removing one star because I was told there wasn’t much to be done about my German Shepherd’s hip issues. She was in obvious discomfort so I took her to another clinic that offered many treatment options.

Experiencia fantástica: My parents as well as me have taken our 4-legged family members to Jancy Animal Hospital for a long time. My dog was developing something in his mouth that I couldn't see. It got to the point that even when my dog was yawning he will make a noise (pain), so I decided to call Jancy and scheduled an appt. My dog developed an infection in the back area of his mouth. Unfortunately some teeth had to be removed, but I was happy with the outcome. Thanks Jancy.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible!! Since I have made it a little past my grieving point for my beloved dog now I can speak! I came here 3 months ago with my dog who was obviously very sick and needed help. Two girls sat there said everyone is on break. Vet had his feet up in back. They did not offer any assistance to my dog that was in my arms!! He passed away a few hours after! I’m lost for words with how I feel! I’m am very mad and want the world to know of this situation!
Experiencia negativa: I have been bringing my French Bulldog here for awhile just to get vaccinations and the back room staff have never been friendly. I am now transferring my dog to another clinic because of the last visit I had. The "Dr" walked into the room and immediately called my dog an "anatomical nightmare" because of his breed. All dogs, and animals, deserved to be loved despite how they were bred especially with mine being a rescue. Very disappointed that I'd rather go to a chain style clinic than a local clinic. SMH

Experiencia fantástica: We've been using this vet clinic for about a year and a half. No major issues that I would be concerned for. Both vets that we have dealt with are good. They are both friendly, great with our dogs, patient with the questions for us humans and willing to explain. The office staff in person & on the phone are polite and helpful. If I had to find anything negative it would be returning phone calls is a hit and miss. Considering my dogs don't mind going and their prices are very reasonable that small issue is overlooked with not issues.

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend this vet! My dog Molly has been visiting this location for over two years. The staff are friendly and attentive in every way. I feel listened to and am given detailed explanations to my questions during my visit. It usually feels like the entire staff drops by and gives my dog some love and pets during our visits. “Which she loves”. This is a local business, in which I can tell the owner and every employee takes pride in giving the best experience. I usually order necessary medication here and am glad they now offer and online way to reorder and receive it.
Experiencia fantástica: Great place to take your pets. Been taking my dog's here for over 7 years. That should tell you something. We had 7 dog's, 2 cat's and a lot of birds. Since these past 7 year's, we now only have 2 dog's. They are our youngest ones. The few couple of years have been hard. But glad we feel we can trust Aloma jancy animal. Thanks to everyone who works there.

Experiencia fantástica: My first time visiting them was 2 days ago of course not in the best situation my poor Kitty was sick we got there I wasn't prepared for how bad she was they had diagnosed her with cancer and that she had a few weeks to live. my regular vet was charging me hundreds of dollars and kept Miss diagnosing her I couldn't afford it anymore.so I was recommended this place and there passion for animals is just overwhelming everybody there so friendly and they gave my cat the best treatment and the best chances also allowed me to cry and be fully prepared for the situation that night.today and she passed away in my arms sad story yes but also a great one cuz now I will be a future client of theirs with my dogs and my cats.
Experiencia fantástica: Sadly, I recently had to put my dog to sleep and went to Aloma Jancy to help me with this process. The staff was very helpful, caring and sensitive to my situation. I am forever grateful for how they treated my family and my best friend during his final moments.

Experiencia negativa: If your going to put people on hold have some professionalism and let them know it takes 2 seconds. I don’t mind waiting, I waited 15mins on hold without talking to anyone to call back to be placed on hold automatically.

Experiencia positiva: I will say only go on Weekends, the idiot doctor who works there as he has no idea what he is doing, on weekends the doctor is amazing and the staff care about your babies!! Our Dark Knight was so sick he was peeing blood and after three weeks of dealing with the wrong person we finally met the doctor who is worth her weight in Gold. Thank you soo much!!
Experiencia negativa: The vets have always provided great service and have always taken good care of my animals, even calling to check in when they’ve been ill. However, getting in to see them can be challenging. When returning calls based on their posted business hours staff has been very rude, stating that they weren’t open. As this has happened on several occasions I mentioned they may want to investigate and change posted hours. The response was to call back when the manager was in. As it is difficult to get ahold of staff to schedule visits, a major concern if you have a sick pet, and lack of staff courtesy I will be seeking a new clinic. Hopefully issues here will resolve, services were great up to about a year ago.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff is very professional, and caring. When we had to put our dog to rest, they allowed us alone time with him before the procedure, helped us be right in front of him while they did it, and gave us time alone with him afterwards. They even have a candle they light in the lobby, so that other visitors know to be respectful.
