Experiencia fantástica: Can not speak highly enough of this staff. We had an emergency with our Husky who needed soft tissue surgery immediately. After calling several places with no openings available, Helping Hands not only had us on our way there within the hour, but also the lady at the desk (I wish I remembered your name! gf was on the phone with you) went out of her way to contact the ER vet we had been at the night before to make sure they received all the test which had already been performed just to make sure we didn't double pay. Not only did they save our pups life from a massive blockage, but helped us save literally thousands of dollars while doing so. From the front desk to the techs/vets in the back, who were thorough and excellent at explaining everything, thank you. You all are amazing.

Experiencia fantástica: Our Scrappy had a Perineal Hernia and the Orlando office staff are so amazing they fit us in as soon as possible. Visit was on a Tuesday 11/12 and Wednesday 11/13 he had his surgery. The staff are all super amazing, so attentive, answered all my questions, kept us updated before and after his procedure. When I spoke with a staff member either on the phone or in person it never felt rushed. Messagings were answered back super fast. We are so thankful to have been recommended to this office. Day of surgery the staff remembered his name and treated him with so much love. This is the ideal place to bring your fur baby. The prices were great as well, office had no odor, very clean. If I could give more stars I would, each and every person in that office were so kind. Thank you all for caring for our boy Scrappy

Experiencia negativa: I had a family member take my German Shepherd that I could no longer have because I was getting deployed. The GSD wouldn’t stop bleeding from her tail area .My brother at the time had applied a bandage and stopped the bleeding as best as he could. Myself and family members were forwarded pictures when they picked up. Mara and the poor thing was covered in blood and wrapped in sheet. That’s not how she was brought in to the emergency room. I understand this is a corporate owned veterinarian establishment, but I would think there’s some kind of do care when you’re in this profession to ultimately help in someway since you are providing care to a Speechless furry baby. It breaks my heart that there are some people in this profession that only care about money and that is why I have asked my brother to never come back to this establishment. I called around myself and found him a reputable veterinarian that truly cares. I wish I could post the pictures on here, but they are too graphic, and I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and other entities that deal with animal welfare. I tried contacting the manager prior to this was put on hold for 25 minutes and forgot about in my opinion. I’m glad others had a great experience for my family. Had a horrible interaction with this location if I was stationed on the East Coast, I would’ve made it mission to go in and show the pictures directly to management on how they left this poor German Shepherd upon discharging her.

Experiencia fantástica: 10-22-2024 Another of my foster pups visited Helping Hands for a badly needed dental during which Snoopy had 9 teeth extracted. The little guy was so well taken care of and his preliminary bloodwork was discussed with us before the procedure, making the anesthesia less of a worry. After surgery, Snoopy was kept for a complete recovery including ensuring that his body temperature was appropriate. The staff put a blanket and heat pad in his kennel and he was walked in the recovery area to make sure all was satisfactory. He's still waiting for The Tooth Fairy to bring his reward for being brave!

The office is really nice, the staff is wonderful and super communicative. I drove 3 hours to have the surgery here and I would recommend this place to anyone. Really appreciated having this option.

Experiencia fantástica: I brought my Chanel to Helping hands for a Spay surgery, she is diabetic so her veterinarian had informed me that it would be a very high cost. I found Helping Hands through Google and received a fair budget, which made me feel relieved because it cost less than an ultrasound with a specialist. We had already spent more than we could last month with our Chanel. To my surprise she had an excellent service from the whole team starting with Taylor and Dr. Margrave was amazing! I am very grateful for the humanized service, made by people who really love what they do and I will definitely recommend Helping Hands to everyone.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent place for pet surgery. They were able to get our cat in for surgery in 1 day. He ate a piece of foam mat and had blockage in his intestines. The ER vet wanted to charge $6k for the surgery. Helping hands was a third of the price and we decided to go with them because all they do is surgery, so they are specialized. I would highly recommend them.

Lilly, our dog needed lifesaving emergency surgery. We first went to an overnight emergency hosiptal and did not feel comfortable with the staff/experience and we were quoted over $7,000! Helping Hands only charged us $800. One thing we have learned is to get a second opinion and second quote if time permits. We are so grateful for the entire staff at Helping Hands.

We were in the difficult position of feeling forced to put her down. I had to bring my toddler with me to pick up my dog from surgery and they were very understanding and helpful with ensuring safety, not just foy my dog, but my toddler, as well. They distracted her with a friendly cat, while the rest of the team and I got my 122 lb. Dane in the car safely.

Experiencia negativa: This place is a scam. They advertise a set price for dental and then don’t pull all the necessary teeth. It would have been way cheaper for me to get this done at my normal vet since they only extracted 4 teeth. My other cat had 7 teeth extracted at our regular vet and it cost half the price. The only reason I brought my cat here was because I was told he needed a full mouth extraction and instead I got charged an exorbitant amount for 4 teeth

Experiencia fantástica: HELPING HANDS VETERINARY was our last minute miracle. My chihuahua puppy was attacked by another dog and needed immediate exploratory surgery and a hernia body wall repair. The doctors and the staff were amazing. Everything was explained thoroughly to us. They saved our puppy and the surgery was completed with such precision. We are so very grateful to them. We were referred to them by our emergency vet clinic because we could not afford what we were originally quoted for the surgery. Helping hands was $3000 less for the same surgery. I'm hoping this will help other families find their location. They are a low cost, affordable animal clinic. The inside is beautiful and very clean. My puppy was comfortable and in good hands. Experiencia fantástica: Helping hands vet was amazing they have the best prices, their price included all blood work prior to surgery, all medication to take home and a cone as well. It was 698 total for a 9 pound dog no additional fees,, now I did get blood work and X-ray done before I went there at another vet it was about 250 total for that. I then contacted helping hands vet for the surgery and they were able to get my dog in right away. My dog was diagnosed with pyometra she is 9 years old and is now healing great. I absolutely recommend them.

He was in bad shape but from the very first phone call to the last everyone at Helping Hands was fantastic. They called to check on him several times afterwords and I feel like they all truly cared. I couldn’t afford 6k surgery the vet in Melbourne, where I live wanted, and they helped me give my boy a chance and I’m so grateful for that. They are extremely affordable, professional, and sweet to all animals coming in. They took excellent care of my senior pup and definitely saved his life. The staff was great, communicated well with me and took their time to explain things, above all they were kind to our dog. There was no confusion about the services they provided being an outpatient surgery only hospital and I appreciated that. Her vet had quoted us $5,000.00 for the surgery but thankfully I found this place and paid $1,100.

I so appreciate how they offer the most affordable surgery around and also how they will let you know if your pet is too sick to be sedated for surgery. Experiencia fantástica: I thought my pup had a UTI and took her to my vet... found out she had something called Pyometra and that her life was in danger unless I got her surgery ASAP. My vet was charging me over $2500, but was nice enough to refer me to Helping Hands. I am completely blown away by the kindness and professionalism shown by Helping Hands and their staff. My dog is now in great health, and I was able to get the surgery for around $1000, including all her meds. A big shout out to Dr. Gaboian and Jasmine for showing me and my pup Kaia such a wonderful experience. It's establishments like this that make me smile and have a little more hope for humanity. Experiencia fantástica: I'm writing this as an update about my kitty: Helping Hands saved his life. After hurricane Ian, I noticed my 12 year old fur baby was not able to pee. After rushing him to an after hours ER, they told me there was nothing they could do for him, as he had a blocked urethra. Without surgery, he was going to die. But after calling around the entire state, I found Helping Hands. They were kind, helpful, and prompt in getting him in and saving his life. I wanted to post a two year update here and say Thank you to the vet doctor. You saved a perfectly healthy cat with a medical emergency who is now 14 years old and still as playful as a kitten ❤️ The first picture is when he was on his deathbed before, while the next 2 pictures are him, with his adopted sister, playing and good as new. I can't recommend them enough.

My initial impression and experience has been first class while approaching the surgery and during the process. Note that every customer that I met had a similar experience. Pet owners need more places like this.

Experiencia negativa: We had complications. I never got to meet or speak with the surgical preforming Veterinarian. This is important. Asked several times, was referred to the website by techs. The techs were friendly, upbeat and helpful but, we had surgical complications on a neuter and speaking with the doctor how ever brief would have been welcomed. And created reassurance for me. The clinic also prefers to use an app for communication which doesn't work seamless on consumer end. True customer service is rare and critical, makes the consumer feel valued and starts with ease in communication especially in complications. I didn't care for the conveyer belt process.

After spending $600 for blood work at a veterinarian office in Lake Mary, only to learn that Bella had Pyometra and the clinic couldn't assist, I faced a daunting estimate of $4,200 for surgery at the Animal Emergency Hospital in DeLand. Almost considering euthanasia, I reached out to various animal centers and found "Helping Hands." Despite uncertainty due to scheduling constraints, I pleaded with Crystal at 8 am, sending over Bella's lab work. Two hours later, I received the heartening news that they would take on Bella's case, a moment of overwhelming joy and gratitude. On November 30th, 2023, my fiancé and I left Volusia County at 5 am, greeted by the welcoming staff at Helping Hands, who treated us like family. Throughout the process, they provided comfort, explanations of the procedure, and discussed potential risks. Leaving Bella behind, unsure of the outcome, was emotionally challenging. At 2 pm, I received a call confirming Bella's successful surgery, prompting tears of joy. When we picked her up, she exhibited boundless energy, as if untouched by the ordeal. Helping Hands proved to be compassionate, caring, and understanding, treating us like family rather than mere clients. Their post-surgery follow-ups, including the clean bill of health on December 15th, showcased their commitment to their patients and their families. In times of despair, Helping Hands restored my hope, and their friendly and dedicated team, seemingly chosen by a higher purpose, exemplifies a blessing for Orlando's community. Experiencia fantástica: After searching far and near, helping hands was the only vet that was willing to help my Kitty Kat. We were told by a vet near us that euthanasia would be the best choice. I just want to thank you guys from the bottom of all of our hearts for saving our cat! (Mama Kat) The hospitals and vets near me wanted 3, 000 - 9000$ for her exploratory surgery, to find out what the heck was causing her to be so lethargic and pretty much dying. Helping Hands was under $2,000.... A literal blessing!!!! I feel as if they care way more about the animals that come into their office then the money that they make. My cute lil maltese Manni who has such a sweet soul ended up needing more than a tooth removal. I had taken him to his vet who completef a full work up at 375.00 and recommended a dental specialist for a partial or full mouth extraction. So off we went to the specialist who charged me 300.00 just to let me know the operation would be 7,000 dollars. I felt so depressed because without it , it would lead to possible organ failure down the road once the bacteria traveled to kidneys . So I did research and found Helping hands Veterinary snd am happy I did.The first operation was performed by Dr. CAITILIN HOLLY amazing Dr. She called me answered my concerns and when she didn't think she could proceed with the remaining operation she involved the Medical Director. The second part of the operation was done by Dr.Aaron Wages also very nice. I must say I'm so grateful to the staff and the Physicians . They are affordable but most of all they all CARE about the well being of your pet it's definitely not about the money because it's all a flat rate. I appreciate the staff and the physicians for making my Lil maltese Manni happy again. He's on his way to a full recovery. GOD BLESS I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this facility you will not be disappointed. After talking to many professionals and doing my own research amputation was the best option (my cat’s leg was fractured in 3 places). I took him to helping hands. This place is easily the most affordable vet surgery you will ever find. I drove 2.5 hours with my cat to take him here. In my city the surgery was almost triple the price. They have prices on their site (estimations of course but it’s a good reference of what you can expect). The surgery may have been affordable but the quality of service does not suffer due to pricing. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind. 1000/10 recommend this place

We had to bring our fur baby there, after extremely stressful matters (to he and us) for emergency surgery, due to neglect from another practice I will not name. He was so kind, considerate, caring and heavily evaluated our case, knowing the odds, and still took him on, giving us his best confident evaluation, ensuring us he will do all he can for our fur baby, and us. Without a blink, Dr John was able to do the impossible, saving our baby from a dire situation, to which now it has 2 months, and our cat has done a complete recovery, and has changed for the best! Our Peter Parker is thriving better than ever, I swear even before the procedure, and I can not praise Dr John, and staff, more! They saved our fur baby when others couldn’t, or wouldn’t, and I can not thank them enough! 11/10 would recommend, and I wish I could give more than 5 stars! ❤️❤️❤️

My cat needed urgent surgery and they were able to provide me with a date quickly and everything went very well. I was definitely one of the worriers, crying etc. lol The staff here at Helping hands was extremely remarkable. The lady at the front desk especially she treated me with respect, kindness, empathy and was very professional every single last time I spoke to her. All of the other staff was no different they’re all just literally perfect. It’s very rare you can find an office where every single staff member is kind. Also it was extremely clean. It was a very refreshing and positive experience. My dog is doing amazing and I would make this drive every single time for my pets surgeries and would certainly recommend anybody wondering if they should make the trip here, do it! David and Krystal at the front desk are so kind and helpful no matter however many stupid questions we had. My sister said the doctor was so nice and kind spoke to her and was really understanding about all her fears for her beloved doggo. They even had a little sign up outside welcoming the patients that were scheduled for surgery that day!!! The prices are so low, we couldn't find anyone that would come close to these people. I mean cheaper by hundreds!!! This place is top of the line we will bring all the dogs here going forward for surgery needs.

Experiencia fantástica: My sister had her doggo come here. We live over 2 hours away but let me tell ya it was worth it! David and Krystal at the front desk are so kind and helpful no matter however many stupid questions we had. My sister said the doctor was so nice and kind spoke to her and was really understanding about all her fears for her beloved doggo. They even had a little sign up outside welcoming the patients that were scheduled for surgery that day!!! The prices are so low, we couldn't find anyone that would come close to these people. I mean cheaper by hundreds!!! This place is top of the line we will bring all the dogs here going forward for surgery needs.

Experiencia negativa: Llevamos a mi mascota hace 4 días a esta veterinaria, donde nos habían enviado un correo de que podían realizarle a mi mascota la cirugía (PU) madrugamos y esperamos a que abrieran porque mi gato necesitaba la cirugía urgente, nos dejaron esperando hasta las 10:00am porque teníamos que esperar que llegara la que hablaba en español, el tenía todo al día para que le realizaran la cirugía, el doctor no quiso operarlo y era una cirugía de urgencia, nos dijo que si no tenía catéter no podía operarlo cosa que el cómo veterinario debería hacerlo, nos mandó para otro lugar para mandarle a poner un catéter y dejarlo 24 horas hospitalizado mi gato ya no podía más, el llevaba 3 sedaciones seguidas y varios catéter puestos, las vías urinarias estaban totalmente destruidas era de vida o muerte su cirugía, quedamos que al llevarlo a la otra veterinaria los llamáramos y separáramos la cita para el día siguiente, llamamos y nos colgaban, luego nos contesto a las 4 llamada con otro número diferente y dijeron que mi gato no le podían hacer la cirugía, para que ponen que realizan esa cirugía si no la van a hacer cuando las personas la necesitan para sus mascotas, lastimosamente mi gato falleció por la negligencia de esta veterinario y no querer ayudarnos a una mejor solución.

Experiencia negativa: Lleve a mi gato para una cirugía PU de urgencia y lo que me dijeron era que el doctor se estaba metiendo en problemas por la realización de esta, entonces deberían de quitar ese tipo de operación de su página, viaje desde Tampa hasta Orlando con mi gato enfermo Para su salivación y no quisieron atenderlo, estaba remitido por urgencia, el ya falleció gracias a la salud tan mediocre

Experiencia fantástica: They were extremely nice and took great care of my dog Ruby. At 10 years old I was extremely nervous about her having surgery ( cruciate ligament). Turns out my worries were all in my head as they were extremely gentle with my dog and took time to call me to let me know how she was doing as well as gave me an excellent guide for post op care. Surgery was only 1500 including office visit, anesthesia, medicine, follow up and removal for stitches. Down in Boca Raton I was quoted at $6,000 for 1 leg at the low end . If you’re in the state it is 100 percent worth the drive for the amazing care and price they provide for your furry friend!

Every time I called, the phone was answered and you called me back promptly. And you had all your ducks in a row when it comes to compiling reqired paperwork. No resending of documents because they somehow got lost. Such a refreshing experience!!! And most importantly, I felt that our Oreo was in excellent hands. Thanks again for all you do!

Experiencia fantástica: Helping Hands Veterinary Surgery Center of Orlando FL was a life saver! Everyone was caring, compassionate, knowledge, and the surgery was extremely affordable compared to several other locations. In fact , they were 1/3 of the cost from Gainesville to Sarasota. One other location was a bit more expensive, but they were a week out from bookings and my dog needed an emergency surgery. A huge shout out to all the staff, Office Mgr, Denisha and the AMAZING surgeons Dr. Gaboian/Dr. Holly. They all did such a great job in the Splenectomy (Hemoabdomen). Today, my dog went for his post op follow up at my local vet and they were amazed by the stitching up/Staples. If you think euthanasia is your only choice based on cost, please call them to confirm! After hearing the cost of 6k to 8,600 on top of an ER Vet diagnosis bill of 1371...I felt hopeless until getting help from Helping Hands.
