Experiencia fantástica: I don't normally leave reviews, but I cannot brag enough about this place! I've experienced both doctors, one with my grumpy cat, muffin, and the other with my blind stray, stitch, and they were both very thorough. They gave me a detailed list of what my options were and which ones were super recommended in case I didn't have the means at the time to do everything. The prices are also pretty reasonable, and the vet techs are so comforting and knowledgeable. You can also text the office with questions during normal business hours, and they do respond. Unless I move like a 2 hour drive away or out of the state, my cats will always be going here. It's worth every cent! Thanks to everyone over at Eastwood animal hospital!

Experiencia fantástica: What a wonderful experience. Our primary vet had no availability for a sick visit for our dog so I called around to other local vets. Eastwood was not only able to fit me in within the hour, but provided top notch service. Dr Castillo was informative, took time to answer questions and seemed to truly care. Additionally, all another staff members that helped during our visit were so sweet and made sure to make Lily very comfortable. I will be switching to this practice from our other vet!

Experiencia fantástica: on saturday, may 18, my boyfriend and i were letting our then 5-month old puppy lick a little peanut butter off a spatula. well, long story short, she managed to eat the end of the spatula as WELL as the peanut butter. we took her to a different vet (before we were established at eastwood animal hospital) to check on her and they told us she would 1. pass it and be fine or 2. have serious issues and we'd know to come back. well it wasn't until 10 weeks later that she ended up having issues, so much later that an emergency vet all but assured us that it could not possibly be the reason our puppy was sick. she was throwing up and crying on the floor. i thought she was going to die, my first pet ever, not even 3 months after we adopted her, and i was so devastated. by the grace of all the gods, we had set our puppy up for eastwood animal hospital's VIP program just 2 weeks prior (despite thinking it would be unnecessary), and that allowed us to take her to see Dr. Castillo and Dr. Alonso several times for essentially no cost. they took SUCH good care of her, giving us hours of their time, answering dozens of our questions, and being incredibly upfront about costs and options. within three days my puppy was better (and was able to pass the spatula!) and back to trying to eat things she shouldn't. the quality of the entire staff of eastwood animal hospital that i interacted with cannot be understated. the doctors are incredibly well-trained and have excellent pupside manner. the vet techs (specifically Heather, who was so kind and sensitive about my worries, and shared stories of her own pets in order to console me about mine) seemed like they could have treated my puppy all on their own with how knowledgeable and experienced they were. katie at the front desk answered 2-3 calls per day from us while our puppy was sick and relayed our questions and the doctor's answers back and forth in an extremely time-efficient manner. i never felt like my puppy was being forgotten about in the hustle and bustle of their important business, but instead paid special mind to. i do not write reviews like this very often but i feel like nothing i could ever write could repay the staff at eastwood animal hospital for their very diligent, passionate work. thank you so much to everyone who so patiently dealt with me while i was a weepy, worried mess, and thank you so much for helping our puppy feel better. we love her so much. sincerely, rachel, daniel, & elphie

My baby Ginny is a new patient there and the staff is amazing, welcoming and absolutely adores her and I know she’s in good hands when we go! My boyfriend also brings his dog Jax as well and they are so patient and kind with him as he has horrible anxiety. The vets are amazing, knowledgeable and the front desk girls are so sweet! I love the vet techs as well! I would recommend Eastwood Animal Hospital to anyone with a fur baby!

Experiencia positiva: Fantastic if you are an owner, absolutely miserable if you are a dog sitter. The good: They got my clients dog in IMMEDIATELY to see a doctor. They even said it was all booked up and got me in on a “drop-off visit”, meaning that I couldn’t sit there with a Vet but I could let my dog be cared for and come back later when time allows for a sit down talk about what happened. Everyone there was friendly (even if it was an obviously feigned friendliness) and tried to help me and my dog out all along the way. They called me to provide treatment options and updates. It was almost like a virtual doctor’s appointment, which is better than waiting a week to see the Vet. The Bad: They hassled me and the dog all day over a 208 dollar fee, locked him inside for 8+ hours that the owner had instructed them to charge her before she left the country. The owner has a VIP member and has been going with them for about 4 years, however they seemed to forget all of that come time of payment. Then they tried to trick me into coming in saying I could pick my dog up, only to then try to make me pay again. I wish I was lying and I wish I could put laughing emojis because again, I wish I was lying lol it’s that funny in hindsight. Not to mention the dog was kept inside all day in a cage, was never given a potty break and was most likely left alone with. I know this because seconds after I left the vet office (about 8 hours after I got there) the dog went outside and relieved itself for, I kid you not, a full minute. A full minute of pee stream means he was NEVER tended to during those 8 hours. Another thing is that the receptionist (the older one, there is more than one) doesn’t help AT ALL. She asks the client (me) what I’m going to do. I’m not too sure, especially when you are being paid to provide Customer Service. Why don’t you help me? Just an overall horrible experience after the initial impressions. If you want to be Vets, please don’t be money grubbing people. You’re providing care to pets in need and withholding not only the care of someone in need but a pet (family member, to most people) which is just downright diabolical and disgusting. TL;DR: Overall, I’d say it’s a great place if you’ve got money. If you don’t, they couldn’t care less about your raggedy dog.

Took my kitten there for the first time yesterday after a horrible experience at another vet and wow it was like night and day. The receptionist was very prompt and polite with the appointment scheduling over the phone and also in person. The vet tech and doctor (wish i could remember their names) were very professional about everything. They do all of the procedures right in front of you and explain what they are doing the whole time. very informative and had a great answer for any questions we had. you can tell they really care about the animals that come in. Fantastic experience if i could give them 10 stars i would. i will definitely be making this my permanent vet. Thank you Eastwood!

We tried reaching out to all the beds in the area and no one wanted to see her the next day they wanted us to make an appointment which most of them were about a week or more far out. When I came across this animal Hospital. I gave them a call and their customer service was amazing. Everyone was very nice they listen to me. They were very understanding and allowed me to take her the next day for a check up. Once I went in for the appointment that plays with very clean, everyone was very professional and nice. We used to travel much further to save money but spent about 3 hours each appointment with travel, waiting and not enough staff. We have to come regularly for a treatment and was thankful for the information about a yearly fee at Eastwood that can help cover our office visits. Saving time and money close to home.

My family has been going to Dr Alonso at Eastwood since they moved to Orlando 5 years ago. When I got my puppy I had to take him there too as I know he’ll be in the best of care.

Experiencia fantástica: My girlfriend and I came to this location for our dog that was experiencing UTI issues. When we arrived we were promptly greeted and taken to one of the rooms where we met the vet tech Heather. She was extremely helpful and understanding of the situation. Our options were explained in detail on how to best take care of the issue. We then met with the vet himself and he also explained the same processes. We decided to go forward with a culture being sent to a lab to identify what the infection was comprised of in order to prescribe the correct antibiotics unlike another vet office we tried first which gave us medications that did nothing. Our pup is now back to her regular self and we're very happy we decided to visit this office where they practice vet care correctly.

We have to travel with our babies and Dr Robert Alonso is a true gem a Rock Star no doubt, but the entire team should have Kudos, Amy up front and the rets are seriously assets, we felt welcomed and very at ease with a challenging documentation for International Travel and they have made us feel awesome. I trust them and feel they care about the pets and the owners. Please do yourself a true favor and make an appointment for you small babies with them you will not regret it. I recently took 3 senior animals to Eastwood and he diagnosed quickly and gave them the right meds to make them better. Before going to Eastwood I took my one cat to emergency care and they wanted to put her down crazy! I will be going here forever. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Experiencia negativa: These guys are scammers. They told me they would only charge me once for a test for my dog. Paid for treatment. Was advised checkup when we came back would be no charge, then when I came back 2 weeks later they won’t look at him unless I spend another 100$. They don’t care about your animals they only care about the money in your pocket.

Experiencia fantástica: Hands down the best team to treat our pup. He had a stomach issue and their team treated him perfectly. They followed up with pictures and texts letting us know how our baby was doing. They created a custom treatment plan for us. They even followed up after hours to make sure he was feeling better. I can’t recommend Eastwood Animal Hospital enough. Absolutely love them!!! I LOVE THIS VET!!! Again they have gone above and beyond for my fur baby!!!

Experiencia fantástica: My Yorkie, Mars was not feeling well. Woke up Tuesday with bloody stool, called the office for a same day appointment. They were all booked but immediately told me to bring him in as a walk in. As soon as I walked in they had his paperwork ready and took him straight back. My cat’s papers were given to me in a little paper bag with her name and a heart on it, and they followed up the next day to make sure she was doing well after her vaccines. These little details really show that the people here truly care about their patients.

I found Eastwood online and went to them and it was the best decision I ever made. This vet office truly cares for my pet and ensuring her health. They helped me in so many ways when I was freaking out over my sick cat. They accommodated my pet and gave her lots of love. I love this office and I’ve been going there for over a year now. They check in after appointments and make sure to give your animals the best care possible. I will always recommend this office to others because it really does have the best staff ever!!

The doctor explains everything well and answers all of our questions thoroughly. I appreciate his realistic expectations and focus on what is best for guys comfort and quality of life.

But the staff at Eastwood Aninal Hospital are super amazing, polite and didn't treat our dog like some animal. His actually great with them, having the muzzle on of course. We love taking him here and they have great annual package, that saves you money I definitely recommend this place for your pets!
