Experiencia fantástica: We had to board our 10 year old dog rather last minute for just one night, and the staff and facilities at East Orlando Animal Hospital couldn’t have been more wonderful. They were so reassuring with him (and me) during the whole process. Pick up was fast & efficient. He was absolutely fine once we got home - no stomach issues or any other illness in the days following. I’d would totally come back to EOAH for any boarding needs.

Experiencia negativa: I am extremely disappointed with the care my cat received at this clinic. My cat developed a swollen paw, and my brother took him to see Lindsey Sealey. She suggested X-rays and further testing, but when I declined—explaining that my cat was still walking on the paw—the clinic only provided anti-inflammatory and pain medication. The very next day, my cat’s paw was bleeding from the area that was swollen. I immediately called the clinic to report the worsening condition, and was told by the staff member on the phone to simply put a cone on him and apply heat compresses. When the situation continued to worsen, I requested to bring my cat in again. The response I received was that the doctor would call me. And they can schedule an X-ray. This is unacceptable. The clinic's suggestion that I bring my pet back if the condition worsened was ignored, and no immediate follow-up care or proper response was given when it became clear my cat's situation had escalated. I then sought care from a different clinic, where the issue was promptly diagnosed as an abscess. They cleaned the wound and administered a shot of antibiotics. In contrast, the original clinic did not even offer antibiotics. I made attempts to speak with the office manager about my concerns, but she was never in the office. I am incredibly disappointed by the lack of urgency, care, and communication from this clinic. Due to this experience, I will never return, and I would caution other pet owners about relying on this clinic for serious care.

Experiencia fantástica: This vet is the first vet I’ve ever been to that truly showed me compassion. I really wish I came here sooner with my fur baby. Unfortunately, before we found out about this place we went to other vets that took advantage of me and my fiances vulnerability. My cat, Milo, had his second urinary blockage within a span of two months. I was not informed of all the necessary measures to take after the first blockage so my Fiance and I had to put him down, since his urine backed up into his kidneys. We ended up here at East Orlando Animal Hospital and we were treated so well, the vet gave us so much information (which I wish knew earlier, but the other vet I went to failed to do). The Veterinarian here was so compassionate. A week later the hospital even sent us flowers to send their condolences (image attached). I HIGHLY recommend this place, and will definitely go back here for our future fur babies. ❤️

Experiencia negativa: I brought my Shitzu because be was none responsive. We explained he may have been intoxicated with THC. They admitted him, ran all kinds of test from exrays to blood work, except a drug test. To only tell me 8 hrs later at $1700 that they couldn't really explain what was wrong. They recommended I take him to a different ER that is 24 hrs. Please be cautious of bringing your pets here. I would not recommend them at all.

Experiencia negativa: Be AWARE! This place will rip you off!!!!!! The vet told me she didn't know what was wrong with my dog after doing a quick check of my dog. She did all these test and charged me over 700.00. Later to find out he had a common ailment that goes away in a week to 2 weeks and is not deadly and common in older dogs. Don't bring your animals here unless you want to get ripped off and lied too!!!Some of the reviews I read ,I would never trust my animal in their care. They are after money that's it! Read that bad reviews first. And you will not bring your animal there. All the good reviews are employees friends family. I tried to work something out with the manager and was continued to be lied to. Please trust me on this one!!!!!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I took my cat to EOAH when I couldn't bring my cat to our regular vet during an emergency. EOAH was able to see me that day and I'm very grateful. Dr. Ray is awesome and I felt like he really cared for my cat. The staff are very knowledgeable, compassionate, and were patient with answering many questions from an upset cat mom. I will now be going to this vet from now on.

Experiencia negativa: We genuinely loved this place when we started coming here cause it was affordable. I’ve never been more disappointed than my visit today and I won’t be back after being charged a $79 exam fee for a miscommunication on me getting my dog a routine allergy shot. So a $92 routine allergy shot was gonna cost me $181. The administrator lady came across snooty and annoyed about the situation. I miss the old team. We’re gonna look for new care.

Experiencia negativa: This hospital has become terrible after ownership changed. Out dog had been going there since he was 3 months old, he is 8 years now. Terrible new doctor now and I agree with many comments in here that is all about money now, and no care. This new doctor says random things with no background. Our dog has a history of medication for his eyes since he was little and we were told by this doctor that we were “auto medicating” our dog when clearly his years of history showed he was prescribed this medication for years. In addition this medication cannot be bought without prescription. We had to tell this new management doctor to go look at his chart and she found it and prescribed it again after accusing us of auto prescribing our dog. They only want us to bring our dog for nothing and charge. Terrible service and sad that this hospital has become what it is now. Seeing the comments too of boarding dogs without AC, I now wonder why our dog used to come sad and stressed every time after boarding. We stopped boarding him a couple of years ago as we noticed he wasn’t liking it and now I wonder why based on other comments.

Experiencia negativa: Hello, I just wanted to share with everyone what happened to me. I was a groomer for this hospital for almost 18 years. I was wrongfully terminated. I am just glad that my clients know me better than what I was terminated for. Everything was fine good until the new hospital administrator came along. I am glad that clients are finally realizing the things going on in this hospital. The hospital administrator is the reason why employees are leaving and going to another hospital where they will be treated better. Also a lot of clients are even going to another hospital. I just wish Petvet would wake up and smell the roses.

Experiencia fantástica: We have been using East Orlando Animal Hospital for over ten years and have always been pleased with their attention, care and concern. They have been professional and provided excellent quality care across the spectrum of needs. This has ranged from ordinary health maintenance to surgical aftercare. Our dog has required emergency surgery after a trauma injury as well as cancer treatment with outstanding outcomes every time. I could not trust them more and highly recommend them.

From the moment she called they answered all her questions and promised they would try to get her in and they did call back and get us in. The staff was absolutely so compassionate and warm and just so nice.. The vet was absolutely fantastic and even though the outcome was not what we wanted..they all stayed and provided the most loving care and support for my daughter and I, they stayed way past closing kept saying no no take all the time you need. The absolute compassionate care for us and the cat was more than my heart could take... I would absolutely recommend any pet owner to this office 1 million times. And to the staff...thank you again for all that you did for my daughter and "grumpy".

Samantha Reasoner, the veterinary technician, was incredibly kind, helpful, and thorough throughout the entire process. She made sure to explain everything clearly and went above and beyond to ensure my cat was comfortable. Dr. Lindsey Sealey was equally amazing, providing detailed explanations about my cat’s condition and the treatment plan. Both Samantha and Dr. Sealey made me feel at ease and showed genuine care for my pet’s well-being. The hospitality and level of care were exceptional. Samantha even reached out to me afterward to check in on my cat, which meant a lot to me. It showed how much they truly care about their patients and their babies. I highly recommend East Orlando Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a place that treats your pets like family. 10/10 recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: We’ve been taking our 11 year old dog here since she was a puppy. She can be a bit stubborn at times and particular about people outside the family, but staff are so friendly and patient with her. The vet techs and doctors are knowledgeable and help us manage some ongoing health issues. Grooming is also easy to schedule with our groomer Rebecca and she does a great job every time. Pebbles is always excited to see her which says a lot too!

Experiencia negativa: UPDATE: the administration department reached out to me and said they would do internal review and back to me in a couple days. After almost 3 weeks they did finally get back to me and state they did everything right and didn’t want to deal with any of my concerns and customer relations I had issues with. DO NOT USE THIS IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PETS. My dog had full recovery after I took him to a different location where they found he had simple UTI with $229 bill. This place charged me $1400 over 2 days and requested to do exploratory surgery that clearly isn’t required. Brought my dog in there with blood in stool, they went with maxing out the options and wouldn’t give me any advice on what to choose. Charged me $1400 over 2 days saying he probably needs surgery for possible blockage. Went to emergency hospital where they sent records and mis information about vomiting when he wasnt. They reran labs for urine and found he had a UTI. Charged me a reasonable $229 and he home and better. Please don’t use this location if you care about your pets.

Experiencia fantástica: Micaela and Dr Sealy were great. No red flags from a pretty picky cat mom. Dr Sealy examined my cat in front of me, which I loved, and she was super gentle and soft and i felt very comfortable with how they both handled and treated my baby. They then took her back for an xray and my cat was calm enough to not need sedatives which tells me they treated her gently. They were open with charges and i had the option to not take the meds they suggested. And they had availability for what could have been an emergency, so I was very grateful.

Experiencia negativa: These people declined service to my dog who i rushed to their ER because of a snake bite. Only reason: they were about to close in half an hour. What ER closes at 6pm!?? But even worst, how do you have the heart to decline service just so you can leave by closing time!??? This place is a joke and should be shut down asap!! Do not enter any healthcare business, human OR ANIMAL if you dont actually care about their well being.

Experiencia fantástica: I had to board my dog for a week and EOAH accommodated him with open arms. My dog is seizure prone and they did not turn their heads to care for him. They secured him in a padded area and kept a close eye on him. They administered his meds whenever it was due. They sent me pics everyday with Toby in different ties and bow ties. My handsome boy looked dapper! They kept me updated when he had a seizure on his last day and reached out to my emergency contact, which he was picked up. I want to give a special thanks to Lena at reception. She welcomed us with a smile and was very patient with our many questions. Thank you to Christina, Micaela, and Yessi for sending me pics during the week and supervising his playtime. I had such a great experience with EOAH and would most definitely come back and board again. And would definitely recommend others to board their pups at EOAH!!!!

Experiencia negativa: Honest review, the staff were nice but... i took my dog who had gotten bit by a snake, 30 minutes before closing, they basically refused to take a look at her other than the quick glance at the lobby. Told me they were closing soon and gave me the location to another clinic 20 minutes away. Extremely unprofessional in that aspect. Thankfully the snake was non venomous, but had it been venomous, the dog would've died in transit or gotten way worse. How can you claim to love animals and turn them away without so much of a second glance. And keep in mind this was NOT a money issue, money i have. Time or care they don't. They claimed they were booked but there was only 1 other dog/owner there. Do better!

They are my first go to for anything dealing with animals. They treated my dog with care and kindness and Madison helped with the smoothest transitions!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been taking my little rascal to EOAH for his whole life. They have seen him go from a 12 week old puppy to a 2 year old gentleman. He is always greeted by all the staff so genuinely and they all seem so excited to have him visiting everytime! The care and follow up we receive is always top tier as well! I have also used their boarding services many times (I have no family that lives near to help when I need to go out of town). He always comes back home well taken care of and very happy. This past visit over Memorial day was a bit spur of the moment and I had to use a different veterinarian than I usually see at EOAH for his shot update. This Dr (Dr Guerrido) was so nice, as was the assistant/tech (Nicole). They got us in and out in no time and were so great to interact with! They even helped point me in the right direction with new flea/heart worm prevention meds. Overall, I have yet to have a bad experience here and don't think I ever will. Are they expensive-- heck yes, but it is worth it to be sure that my little crazy Nibbler boy is getting great care whether I'm present or not!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been going to East Orlando Animal Hospital since my son, Sunny was a pup! They have great and educated vets, I trust them. The front staff is always efficient, friendly and fast. I’ve boarded before as well and had a good experience. Last but not least I LOVE my groomer, Rebecca!! She’s always so friendly, listens, does a great job, gives great advice and always schedules me out so I don’t forget! I love this place and won’t take my dog anywhere else!

Experiencia fantástica: Rebecca always does a great job grooming both of our pups! They both get a mini (ears, nails, pads of feet, bums and tums!) as well as a de-shed, but having 2 long haired breeds with double coats this is paramount. They come home not only looking like a million bucks, but smelling good as well. I highly recommend her next time your furry baby needs to be groomed!

Experiencia negativa: Called to make an appointment for a travel health certificate and was told that I would have to prepay for the service and that it was $79. Showed up to the appointment and was then charged $350 for a travel health certificate, which is outrageous and not at all the industry standard. I brought a filled out copy of all the paperwork which is freely available through the APHIS website and only includes information like microchip ID and rabies vaccine certificate (both of which I also provided), they decided they wanted to fill out their own copy which was alright by me. I can’t believe they have the gall to charge $85 for a mandatory 5 min or less “health check” of my healthy dog who had already had his annual checkup with his vet less than a month ago (of which I also brought documentation). This “health check amounted to taking his temperature, weight, and looked in his ears, five minutes maximum. They then charge $265 for “the legal paperwork” meaning a filling out a free form that is available online and would normally take a reasonable person 15 minutes to complete but they took an entire hour because of several mistakes. I will never step foot in this office again and recommend anyone needing to travel with their pet go to literally any other vet in the city for their certificate. They’re not even aware of the correct regulations that apply to travel certificates, they told me I couldn’t schedule an appointment more than 10 days out but this is actually not true. Travel health certificates are valid for up to 30 days before travel and have to be endorsed by the USDA within 10 days of travel. To the staff at this hospital please do your research and be significantly more transparent about your pricing.

Experiencia fantástica: My cat Finn ingested flea meds and was near death when I brought him in. I was absolutely distraught and the entire team went into action immediately and saved his life! I am so grateful for the care everyone took to help my sweet kitty and keep me calm. In my 23yrs doing animal rescue, this is one of the best experiences I've had with a vet. I'm so appreciative!

Experiencia fantástica: ll their staff very professional... the girls at the reception, the boarding girls, always keep me in the loop, and the vets are extraordinary, I don't remember the names of all the staff but I can mention Fernanda, Jessica, the girls working on march 16 around 10:00 am. Overall all the staff is friendly... Mckay and Bombo love to stay at EOAH.

Experiencia negativa: I left the hospital on a Friday night feeling very optimistic based on what the doctor told me. We went to visit my dog the next day and he was sitting up in his crate. We loved on him and left thinking we would see him the next day. An hour later I got a call that they were doing compressions on him and I needed to come right away. We go there and he was gasping for air. I will never go back there. The fact that no one told me on the phone what to expect and we just show up to that. I completely question what happened in the hour after I left. The doctor that was there with him was so cold. She didn’t even look me in the eye. I understand that they deal with this all the time but this is my baby. He meant the world to me and still does. Go somewhere else that has compassion for your pet. You won’t find it there.

My baby is now 3 years old and the staff at this hospital is just as amazing as ever! My dog just had his first dental cleaning. I was worried, but Micaela from the clinic was amazing in going over the details and told me what to expect. She answered all my questions about the procedure and kept me updated thru the day. She went over after care when I picked my dog up and gave me the correct medication and talked me they how to administer the doses. All in all an amazing experience! Thanks Micaela and EOAH staff!!

Experiencia fantástica: I have taken my shelties to the vets at EOAH for almost 14 years. I’ve had great experiences with the care and concern from many of these doctors and techs. I also have Melissa groom my dogs and she is an amazing groomer. She always takes good care of my dogs and makes sure they are done when promised.

Experiencia positiva: Sammy was very helpful and great with Betsy. She explained all the details to me clearly and was very easy to work with.

Experiencia negativa: I have been a client at EOAH for the better part of 10 years with multiple different pets, 2 hedgehogs and 3 cats. They used to be a very good and responsive vet clinic. However, with this past week, I will never return there. My cat was having issues and did not want to eat so I brought him in. He was diagnosed with a “kidney infection,” we were given some prescription food and meds and they told us to take him to the emergency clinic if he got worse. I tried calling multiple times to talk to the vet to update on his symptoms, did not hear back. I called and asked for some cans of prescription food but was told we had to wait 24-48 hours, even though our cat literally would not eat anything else besides that one type. I went into the clinic and explained what was going on, they let me get some food and a vet came out to talk to me and told me that his symptoms were “normal.” I kept waiting a few days but he wasn’t getting any better and I kept calling EOAH to talk to a vet but they wouldn’t call. I ended up taking him over to McAbee Vet Hospital and they told me that he needed to be hospitalized for 3-4 days immediately. So that’s what we did and kitty is now stable and back home. To this day, EOAH and still NOT CALLED to check up on him. They used to call a day after a routine exam to check up on a cat but now they won’t when the cat is having severe symptoms and is really sick? The unresponsiveness is truly appalling and unprofessional. If I didn’t take my cat to another vet he might not be here. I loved this clinic for a long time, but I will never be returning.

Experiencia fantástica: I just took my labrador to this hospital for the first time and I am very pleased with the service he got. When I called to make the appointment, the receptionist was very kind and helpful ( I dont remember her name) Luis took us back on time and he was also very nice and took his time to get all the information he needed. Then Pongo was seen by Dr. Guerrero. She was absolutely great. Very nice, explain everything to me and treated Pongo very well. Loved the experience I had today and I definitely will be back with my other dog Smokey. Thank you so much for caring.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been taking my pets to EOAH for over 20 years. The staff is excellent. My pup goes to the groomer here as well and Rebecca has been excellent. She is very caring and my pup loves her.

Experiencia fantástica: I had such a great experience on Friday. They squeezed me in the same day for my pup that was limping. He gets severely anxious at the vet, visibly shaking and ignoring treats, but the ladies at the front desk calmed him, then when in the exam room Chiara took him, soothed him, snuggled him, let him sit on her lap, and he had the calmest best exam ever. I’m soo grateful! When he is anxious, so am I, so she and Dr. Ray, with his calm demeanor, calmed us both, and took great care of him, even having Luis call to check on him the next night. Experiencia fantástica: Truly an incredible practice. Every single person at the front desk is professional, friendly and most of all knowledgeable. They pay attention not only to the big picture of your pet care but the tiny details as well. You can tell every Vet treats with their heart. Every technician really and genuinely love your animal and wants for their good health. A warm and friendly environment for you and your dog. I had a unfortunate call when trying to book my grooming appointment. But the administration responded promptly and kindly and we resolved the issue. This practice is big on ownership and accountability. I may not groom here for a bit but my dog will continue to be in their expert care.

Experiencia fantástica: Micaela was great. Very compassionate that we just had to put one of our dogs down. Had my collie in for teeth cleaning. She provided great info before the procedure and called as soon as the procedure was finished to let me know he did fine. Very thorough with after care instructions.

Experiencia fantástica: We’ve met a handful of the vets and techs now and I’m blown away by all of them. Everyone is so sweet and gentle with our pups. We moved from out of state a couple years ago and were so nervous to take them to a new vet. A friend recommended EOAH and I’m sooooo grateful, we love them and so do our dogs.
