Experiencia negativa: ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES EVER! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE TRYING TO SAVE THEIR ANIMAL! THEIR PRESCRIPTIONS COSTED US OVER $400.00 IN STORE! WE EXPLAINED, MONEY WAS TIGHT, WE ASKED FOR PRESCRIPTIONS TO LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR THE SAME THING, BUT CHEAPER! WE’D FOUND IT BUT IT NEEDED TO BE APPROVED BY THE “DR”, SO, THE WAITING GAME, AND THEN! ALL TO BE DECLINED!!! THEY WOULDN'T APPROVE! ALL BECAUSE IT ISN'T A DAMN NAME BRAND SUPPLEMENT! BUT ITS THE SAME STUFF!!!!!!! BEYOND PISSED BECAUSE I DONT HAVE OVER $400.00 TO SAVE MY PET! BUT FOUND ALL THE SAME MEDICATIONS FOR AT JUST $70.00!!! MONEY HUNGRY ASS PLACE!!!
Experiencia fantástica: My 16 year old dachshund had diarrhea all night long and vomited her food. I called Econ River Animal Hospital in the morning and with her age, they wanted to squeeze her in. They were short-staffed with a total of 3 people which included the doctor. I witnessed all 3 of them helping each other to get the job done. Dr. Harris was so sweet as we're the others. My dog got exceptional care as she has in years passed. Did I have to wait, yes I did but they told me that from the beginning and were so kind. I have a veterinarian about 1/2 mile from my house but I will always give Econ River my business. They have been #1 in my book for the 6 years I've been in Florida.

Experiencia negativa: Staff was all very friendly and nice but unfortunately did not seem to know what they were doing I was told something different everytime I walked into this location, I was told twice to come in at a certain time to drop off my dog and both times I had to wait for someone to show up because they couldn’t even open on time I also got overcharged on my visit with them adding items onto my service with out authorizing it through me and still charged, had to fight to get my money back then after that I was told in detail about their health plan which I was lied to about and now I’m being told because I was told all the wrong information to get me to sign that’s there’s nothing they can do and they’re still gonna take my money I wouldn’t recommend going here if you want to be told the truth straight forward the first time around

Experiencia negativa: Honestly I didn't like the vet, she was pushy and rude and judgemental. The front desk is a sweetheart and so is the assistant thats why i didnt leave 1 star, the vet needs her manners checked I think she's been working around animals to long. They give you a price and then it turns out to be double or triple what they said. Never going back, good thing theirs other choices in vets out there.

Experiencia negativa: I love the receptionist very sweet and respectful on the phone. What I don’t like is all the hidden fees. You call to get an estimate on a price which I understand is an estimate however the totals end up being way more than the estimate ever is. I also do not appreciate how the vet herself tries to guilt you into doing every little thing they suggest. I understand it is what she recommends but unless she is going to pay do not guilt people. Also I only asked for one service and she kept trying to shove more down my throat. I will not be going back to them. Vet makes people feel uncomfortable and pressured. I have gone to other vets where they of course recommend more treatments but if you can’t afford it they let the matter go not with this lady …..

Experiencia negativa: I recently had a disappointing experience at Econ River Animal Hospital during a visit for my pet's regular shots. The manager, Kaitlyn, was dismissive and rude when I raised concerns about the unexpectedly high invoice. Prior to my visit, I inquired with the reception about the cost of my next visit as always, and was given an estimate of $75 or less with my pet plan, which included the Simparica Trio. However, upon completion of the visit, I was shocked to find out that the balance was $209. When I sought an explanation, the receptionist was unable to provide one and called in the manager, Katelyn. Unfortunately, my concerns were met with further dismissiveness and lack of professionalism. I have been a loyal customer for four years since my dog was born and have never experienced such treatment. It is essential that all customers, especially pet owners, are treated with kindness and respect. The way I was handled by the manager was unacceptable, she yell at me. I hope that Econ River Animal Hospital takes this feedback seriously and ensures that all staff members, particularly those in managerial positions, adhere to a higher standard of customer service in the future.
Dear Mrs. Pino,On June 22, 2024, you visited our clinic for a comprehensive annual appointment for your pet, which included vaccinations, annual bloodwork with a heartworm test, a fecal examination, and a 12-month supply of Simparica Trio. At the time of your visit, you were presented with an estimate totaling $765, which you signed and agreed to.Upon checking out, there was a discrepancy regarding the agreed-upon price. You expressed dissatisfaction and indicated that you believed the total should have been $75 instead of $765. We thoroughly reviewed the signed estimate provided to you during your visit, along with all previous estimates in our system, none of which reflected a total of $75.During our discussion, you mentioned having an estimate at home that supports your claim. However, despite our request, we have not yet received this estimate from you.We appreciate your attention to this matter and kindly request that you provide the estimate you referenced at your earliest convenience. I have always had dogs growing up and when I got my rescue girl last year I went to this vet since it was closer to my house and since they had amazing reviews. The reviews did not lie!! The doctors and staff are always so amazing. They always make sure my girl is happy and healthy and comfortable! Experiencia fantástica: My pup (Stewy) has been coming here since he was a baby. I will admit there has been some ups & downs at this clinic but the most recent visit made me want to keep coming here. The staff that they have now are very kind and knowledgeable. Katelynn was so understanding of Stewy’s anxiety & discomfort. It wasn’t an easy visit but Katelynn and the vet were very caring with him. Experiencia negativa: Vet hospital treated my puppy due to an imbalance caused by otitis her ears were so clogged that it was causing vestibular. The puppy was with me for 13 days at the time. I asked them to please let me know if it was caused by the place that I bought her from and they said yes, but when I asked for a letter stating that they were making excuses to make the letter. Had to go 2 times for them to get a letter and even then they were scared of making the letter causing the place that sold it to not pay for the treatment and the examination under their contract of the place that sold it to me ( chews a puppy inc. ). This puppy also had kennel cough and was treated in a veterinary emergency clinic of central florida, and they were not afraid to say it like it was. If you need proof of your companions' health being, this is not the place.

Experiencia negativa: No follow up less than 6 days after they gladly took $499.53 my dog is now free of their care and meds. My husband called 9 times today and left one vm and no one called us back.

Experiencia fantástica: The new owner, DR. Mole is outstanding. Dr. Mole and his staff do an outstanding job taking care of my new puppie! I highly recommend that you give Econ River Hospital a try and come back if you had a bad experience in the past. I am sure that you will be happy that you did!
Experiencia fantástica: We had some issues with the temporary vet, but the new doctor has been seeing all of his patients and checking the treatments to make sure they're in the best health they can be. My parents take all of their dogs there, a Jack Russel, an English bulldog and a miniature Australian Shepherd. They said the new vet and his new staff are all very nice so they are happy with the recent changes.

I now use this office as my primary vet and could not be more excited. I am in today and it is under new management, getting an old dog checkup and Dr. Mole is very friendly and personable. Experiencia fantástica: I have 2 Dogs Diesel and Tank and visited Econ River for the first time I entered the office I was impressed. Dr. Hart, Katelyn the office manager and team was absolutely fantastic. Everyone was so informative and professional. Dr. Hart explained in detail what my boys issues was and addressed it. Katelyn was very supportive and helpful. The office staff were awesome. If anyone needs a veterinarian hands down you will not be disappointed. 5 stars all the way.

Experiencia fantástica: i absolutely love Econ River animal hospital, they have always been very attentive, supportive, and extremely easy to work with. They almost always have appointments available very shortly after calling! I take my two dogs here and also to their sister hospital, Curry Ford! They have the absolute best staff ever, my dogs are usually scared of the vet so they even go as far as sitting on the floor with my pups to do their exam to make them feel more comfortable….so sweet!! i love this vet and have never had a better experience!

Experiencia fantástica: I had to find a new vet, so I recently visited Econ River Animal Hospital and was amazed by everything. The second you walk in you feel welcomed and its CLEAN. All of the staff was super friendly and sweet to my little princess. My dog might actually like going to the vet now after our recent visit. I know going to the vet can be intimidating for the human because you aren't sure if you can trust the vet, but you will not think twice here. The vet was highly educated on the problem that was going on with my little girl. She diagnosed her, got her the needed medications and made sure to ask if we had any questions. Don't think too long about coming here, it's A MUST for you and your pets!

Experiencia negativa: The vet was really nervous about my dog to the point that wrote in the report that it has "fear aggression", went to another vet and things ran smoothly. Their prices for vaccines and fleas and ticks prevention are double than in other places.

Experiencia negativa: So I was 10 minutes late for my appointment and they refused my dog I’m sure it’s cause I’m black don’t go here dr hart is the worse they don’t care about animals here
Mrs Fraud, I am so sorry that you are unhappy with Econ River Animal hospital. However, you were called 10 minutes after your missed appointment that we would need to reschedule as you where the last appointment for the day. We give 30 minutes for our vaccine appointment which is what you were scheduled for. By the time you made it in our clinic it was 32 mins past your scheduled appointment time. Our front desk told you when you arrival that we would need to reschedule as we were closed at this point in time. Due to you being very rude to our staff Dr. Hart came out to let you know we could do a quick visit but since we were closed this would be a super-fast visit to get our vaccines done and you were still unhappy with what we were trying to compromise. When the manager reached out to you to see if we could get you in at another time earlier in the day, you did not want that and started to curse and yell. Again, we are Truley sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you.

Experiencia negativa: Going downhill. They canceled the wellness plan without taking any consideration with owners with more than 1 dog. Now the bill you have to pay in your visit is an excessive amount for any service. Just looking for money. Is not the same service 7 years ago when we began with Dr. Mole. Since October they let me know that soon they will going to have the wellness plan again (I need to renew for one of my dogs) and now in January the sent an email letting us know that effective immediately the wellness plan will no longer be available in the clinic. So sad! We need to look for other options in the area.

Experiencia negativa: For over 10 years my 3 babies have been going to this office. However that ends today. New office is beautiful but I have experienced how the lack of service has diminished. Wait time on my last visit was absolutely horrendous. My baby and I were placed in a waiting room and completely forgotten about. Will find a new vet for my babies.

Experiencia negativa: Felt the care was rushed and overpriced. I was charged the wrong amount after the appointment and they called me after I left to pay the difference. I’m an honest person so I paid the difference, but my experience was not a positive one. They basically looked at my dog for 2 minutes tops after being there for over an hour, and I paid over $400 for that with some basic medication. I’m not confident they can provide proper care. I loved the old Waterford location, not sure what happened but I don’t recognize any of the staff at the new location. Not one familiar face that was at waterford.
Experiencia fantástica: The doctor and staff are so caring and kind. They really have the whole family in mind at all the times. I have an anxiety disorder and they made me, my children and our newly adopted Lucie (our new doggo) feel completely at home. I highly recommend you try them for your furry family members vet services!

Experiencia negativa: Documentation in the chart does not mean communication with the owner (right hand vs left hand if you will and I will sleep well knowing that is a true statement for me). I believe this practice is money hungry and after 18yrs I’m leaving this practice and would not recommend them. In closing, I hope that Dr Lipari is enjoying retirement and doing well - she deserves it!

Experiencia negativa: I WOULD NOT recommend this vet hospital. I went there to get a rabies, deworm, skin rash and nail trim. The vet never saw him, the tech was unknowledgeable and they refused to clip my dog's nail because they felt it was not medically necessary and felt I should spend $300 on their shot pkg. I walked out. I make the decisions for my dog. It's taken me another week to get a vet appt...and now my dog is sick, throwing up and diarrhea. I will never go back and will let those in rescue and otherwise what a lousy hospital this is.
Experiencia negativa: i’ve been taking my pets here for over 20 years and the last couple years have really gone downhill. The staff is always changing, everytime we go it’s a new face. And the last time I had my dog’s routine checkup they charged me for 6 doses of heartguard but only gave me 5 because of “low stock” with a promise to call me when they got more in so I could pick up the last one. I never got a call so when I needed the 6th dose I went in and they said the girl that did that no longer works there and they have absolutely no record of that happening and would call me with a supervisor within a few days to make it right. That was weeks ago and it’s frustrating to have my money taken from me like this as well as the health of my dog put in jeopardy. When he needed antibiotics for an ear infection last year they also gave me expired medication and then when I told them the label said expired they said “oh the printer has been wrong so it’s actually fine” but what kind of medical office of any sort allows medication to be labeled improperly and then knowingly given to the patient. Do not come here. Go to Sheys in Avalon or Town and Country in Oviedo.
Experiencia fantástica: I don't think you could make this office any better. Ryuzaki loves his doctor and his new girlfriend lol. She is really great with him and I wish she could always be his tech. The are all great w him but she really makes him calm and comfortable. People complain about the money when they offer a insurance plan that has saved us 1000s and it very cheap per month. Our doctor has never been rude or uncaring about my dog. Animal's do cost money to keep them healthy. We have never been charged for something that was not wrong in 4 years. We will continue to take him there.
Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Jenkins is hands down the best veterinarian I’ve ever encountered. I have a super anxious larger dog that is so difficult. She saw how anxious he was before we even came inside and she approached his care completely different. We staged his treatment so it wasn’t overwhelming for him. He ended up getting his shots without even noticing , without the need of holding him down or upsetting him. I will not dare take my dog anywhere else! 10/10 experience! Thank you Dr. Jenkins and staff for taking such great care of my doggie ❤️.

Experiencia negativa: I just took my new puppy for his first vet check up, they took him to the back without me leaving me outside. Proceeded to tel me that my concerns about my dog having a cold were without reason as he didn't have a runny nose, even though he has mucus and snot all dried up on his nose and coat. Never coming back going to my other dogs vet from now on. Would not recommend do to vets negligence.
Experiencia negativa: So tell me, how is it safer to have multiple vet assistants & the veterinarian putting their faces in car windows, less than 3 feet apart from customers, than to just let them in the office with a mask? This whole business of handing pets over & making people wait in their cars just creates confusion. I felt helpless as my pets were inside & I was being handed all kinds of paperwork to sign with "packages" of services. Blood was drawn on my dog, after I repeatedly said he had just gotten blood work 6 months ago, & provided records. I was told it was on the paperwork they gave me. Again, part of the "package". I was told my cat should wait a month for her rabies vaccine - till it had been a year. I was told if I brought her back at the end of April, she could get a 3 year vaccine. Then they gave her a 1 year vaccine anyway! I was told they were training new vet assistants, so I had to deal with all these different people & had no control over who was handling my pets & what was done with them. The whole experience was horrible. Took an hour & a half, with me sitting in a hot car. Ended up paying them almost $600 after I refused to pay for the unnecessary blood work. Totally stressful & confusing!
Experiencia negativa: Econ river hospital does not care for your pet once you leave the premise. They reply to every single good review but none of the bad ones. They only replied since I left this blank initially. They haven't replied to my Wife's review which was posted sooner than this one. We brought our cat in and they never called us back with blood results results we had to call multiple times and they would do their best to promise and get you off the phone once they have your money. They only called us once and that was to tell us that the xray machine was operable so that they can take more of our money without giving care. Our cat had multiple blood levels off the charts (creatinine for instance was over 13, >5 is stage 4 failure) showing he was in deep kidney failure. From their neglect to do what we paid them to do our cat had to wait 6 additional days with toxic levels in his blood till they finally got tired of us calling to have someone review the results. He ultimately didn't make it no thanks to this "Hospital". With our cat having levels that high for so long till he got real medical attention it drained him of both his energy and his odds to at least have a few more years with us. He was only 10. If you care for your pet take them somewhere else it could save their life. I'm sure the staff really cares about the animals but the business doesn't as "policy" was always cited as to why another doctor who was in couldn't review the tests that the doctor that saw our cat initially ordered.
Experiencia negativa: I brought my dog in today in critical condition. Their sister office called before i even arrived and made them aware of my dogs condition. They made me wait an hour before even bringing my dog in as he is in critical condition and obviously suffering. The head doctor was very unprofessional. My dog passed away before they could even perform surgery due to his complications. When calling me with the news the doctor was very rude and inconsiderate. He immediately began talking about how much everything will be and how they would not refund my $1000 down payment even though they did not even perform the surgery. Don't waist your time or money on this place. They are the reason my dog passed away.
Experiencia negativa: I brought my 2 cats in a few days ago. The whole visit took almost 2.5 hours and my original concerns about my cats were never really addressed. They saw each cat in the office while I waited in the car (which I understand because of the pandemic). Then the tech brought out an estimate of what it would cost to do everything they wanted to do: over $1100. They wanted to do $600 worth of things to my one cat who wasn’t even sick. After I talked them down to $550 and the visit was complete, I came home and researched what they were suggesting for my pets. Most of what they suggested was not even Relevant to what my pets needed. The tech never fully explained what the drugs were for and was quite short with me when I asked questions. The vet was nice and still never fully addressed my concerns. They were instead just fear mongering and trying to make my bill as high as possible. I will not go back. It takes a lot for me to write a negative review because I know how important reviews are now and I just couldn’t let this pass. If money is no object to you for the care of you’re pets, you will blindly follow what doctors say and you would like to do unnecessary tests and treatments then this might be the place for you.
Experiencia negativa: I just recently moved back to the area and returned to this vet office. Used to be the best in the area. Now, I won't be going back. Took my cat for weird breathing/wheezing noises. I wasn't allowed back (which my cat doesn't handle well) and when my cat hissed, they wanted to put her under for the exam. The vet was very dismissive of my concerns of putting her under unnecessarily, and basically said "Yeah, accidents happen" instead of offering any reassurance. The bill was also outrageous with things added I didn't want or need for my cat and when I started questioning things, she literally just decided she was done with the conversation and walked away when I still had questions. The front office staff were sweet but I found the vets to just be dismissive and rude. Poor communication, vet was late for my follow up appointment, and they had me medicate my cat for an exam that didn't happen and still tried to charge me for it. Felt like they thought every visit was an inconvenience. Changed vets and actually made progress with my cat's health with vets that listen and communicate.
Experiencia negativa: I would not recommend this animal hospital to anyone. Due to their negligence, my cat Titus missed out on 6 days of critical treatment and ultimately he did not survive. May 11, 2021 we brought our cat here, as we have done in the past when he was sick. He was lethargic and his third eyelid was showing, which indicates illness. They took his blood and urine for testing, did an exam, and said they wanted to do x-rays but the x-ray machine was down. They said they would call us with the blood and urine test results and also call us to come back when the x-ray machine was working again. We came back a couple days later for the x-rays and asked to speak to a vet, as we never got the blood and urine test results back and our boy was still looking quite sick. They said that the vet who first did the exam on Titus on May 11 was on a rotation where they do not work at that location very often, but they do not let other vets examine a pet to keep it consistent with the same vet each time. That is a terrible policy, in my opinion, or the vet tech lied to us. My husband asked if they could please have someone just review the blood tests to see if anything major was off. They looked at the blood and urine tests but did not provide copies of them, and told him everything looked ok and that nothing was off. They would have the vet call us when he/she was finally available to review everything, including x-rays. I kept calling back each day to ask if I could speak to a vet as to why Titus was still sick and what was wrong with him. Each time I was told that the vet wasn't there and they would call me back. Finally, on May 17, I called again and they told us that Titus was in severe kidney failure and offered to hospitalize him. I immediately asked for his medical records to be sent to a different hospital and I admitted him to the different hospital, as I no longer trusted their care. When I finally got to see the blood test results, there were so many numbers that were off the charts (which they put in bold font, and an H or L next to it) that anyone, even a layman with no medical knowledge, could see that something was wrong with my cat. So either they lied to us and never initially looked at the labs when my husband asked, or they did and they are completely incompetent at reading labs. Either they are overwhelmed with their animal to staff/vet ratio (I notice they are moving to a new location being built close by), or the fact that they make you wait outside in your car due to COVID they are just forgetting their clients because they are not physically present in the building anymore (out of sight, out of mind). Either way, they are not giving the level of care that your furbaby deserves. They are negligent and I wouldn't be surprised if they have some lawsuits pending. Titus was left to suffer for 6 DAYS with kidney levels that would kill him, and I don't want to know how long they would have waited if I hadn't called and followed up so many times. Please do not make the same mistake I made simply because they are close to home. Take your precious furbabies elsewhere. It could cost them their life.

I trust no one else to take exceptional care of my little boy other than the wonderful people who work here. They truly care about their patients, and answer any and all questions you may have. Experiencia fantástica: We are known as "Asia's parents". Lol We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dr. Harris and her staff. They have gone above and beyond to help our fur babies. Our little girl is a frequent flyer at Econ River. My husband and I rescued her with some small issues, but every time, they have received us with a smile on their faces and treated our baby like a princess (which she is ♀️). Today, we found a lost doggie, brought him in, and he was also treated like a king. Dr. Harris, Melody, Delila... Honestly, everyone, we THANK YOU for your hard work and love of the field. ❤❤❤

Every single time they've been professional when I was falling apart. They've worked with me on pricing, and have never judged me for delicing treatments I couldn't afford at the time. Much better management now that Dr. Lapardi has moved on.

Experiencia fantástica: Brought my cat Harley here, unfortunately he was so sick that he couldn't be saved. The Dr and tech that were helping me were super friendly, caring, and tried everything they could to help me to save him. It was in best interest to put him down, but everyone made the process a lot easier to deal with. I can't thank the staff enough for actually caring about the animals they treat. Will definitely be bringing my other cats to them for all my vet needs

Experiencia fantástica: I would highly recommend Econ River Animal Hospital. The entire staff was friendly and caring to my two dogs during our visit, and the vet was extremely thorough when discussing their condition and treatment options. They even called on Sunday to follow up and see how they were doing.
Experiencia negativa: Literally, They were bleeding my pocket for some time. They used to change constantly without experience VETS. A friend of the mine told me to leave for its unreasonable prices. I compared prices in close VETS, and they charge 30 or 40 dollars for medicines, blood tests, radiology and charge $300 more for neutering or cleaning etc. I can't imagine how much charge for accidents or hard illnesses. Definitely, NO TO GO THERE.

My pet almost die and they didn’t want to attend the dog because I didn’t had the money at that time they much rather the dog dies. If you don’t have the cash,they don’t care if you dog lives or dies it really is a shame as per miself I rather take my dog to a place they care for my pet. Thank God that I found someone that did care and my pet is alive thanks to her. Experiencia negativa: Look for another practice if you can. This place has been my beloved pet's Dr for many years but this past year......their service has really went down hill. Please beware of their "Wellness Plan", they did not charge what I was quoted before the surgery. I had a family emergency and when I returned my post office box was overflowing with collection notices. I called and PAID IN FULL and when calling for another issue, found that the plan was cancelled and I was STILL getting collection notices. Really a bad way to do business with a long time customer. Take the time to research and pick a vet that is not so sneaky about how they are charging you or what "plan" they are putting you on. Be sure to ask questions, and ask them again so you understand FULLY what they are doing.

Experiencia negativa: Be aware, by no means let them take your pet without you. Always be with your pet when they are getting vaccines. All this time they have put vaccines in the same spot and the last booster my dog had a side effect leaving him bald in one side, when I told them it happened 2 hrs after the vaccine was administered, they lied and said it was not given in the spot he is irritated. All this time I see them put all the vaccines in the same area and it so happens that this booster was not, although the first one was because they came to my car and did it. Before the virus I saw it too, but the only time they take him away without my presence they change the story. I dont appreciate dishonesty and lies. Its my dog and I know he didn't have that until 2hrs after the vaccine was administered. Even another vet told me that and this place denies it. Dont trust them. Just be honest and admit it was a side effect from the vaccine and attend your responsibilities. Just because you lied I will post this message.
Experiencia negativa: The front office staff is top notch!!! The nicest and friendliest front office and assistants I've ever come across!! Doctor is obsessed with pushing heartworm medicine before he even examined my cat. Got a long sales pitch which was annoying as I wanted to deal with the situation at hand first and foremost. Then he left in the middle of the exam to go to lunch and had another very kind doctor finish up. $400 later I still had no idea what was wrong so I took him to Geneva Oaks vet and he fixed him up. Will only use again if emergency.
Experiencia negativa: I bought a puppy and took her to this location about a week ago, and I expressed concerns about my puppy’s runny nose & etc. They told me she was fine.. however my 11 yr old dog is now sick & having an extremely hard time breathing & etc. I just took them to an emergency pet hospital & found out my puppy has kennel cough.. go figure. I will not ever go or recommend anyone to this location, ever!
Experiencia negativa: My dog had ear issues. The dog was seen by 4 different vets, including the owner of Econ River. Each vet had a different suggested course of action, in addition to suggesting different medicines. My overall sense is that they are happy to push meds which have very high gross margins, leaving me wonder if the vets are somehow compensated for the amount of revenue they bring to the hospital. On the positive, the front end staff are nice. I have since taking my business to another vet.
Experiencia negativa: My husband and I have been going to the Seminole Animal Hospital location of this office for all of our pets for the past 4 years. We recently moved, and had no reservations about trying the Econ River Animal Hospital location. So far we have had 3 visits. The first one was fine, the second one wasn't great, but the one that we experienced today will definitely be our last. 2/3 of these visits have taken place since the stay at home order, so we knew that they would be challenging. Most of the communication is done over the phone, as you are not allowed inside - totally understandable. That being said, between these two appointments we have spent over $700 and are so frustrated that we came out feeling confused and not at all heard. For the third visit, taking place today, my husband took our cat in for what we thought might be allergies or a respiratory infection. Our cat also has chronic constipation that needs a prescription food, so we wanted to get that taken care of as well. Two hours and over $400 later (with multiple misquotes on the prices) we have walked away with medication and 3 different kinds of prescription food (the one for constipation being the one we pushed for, but they didn't seem concerned about getting it to us despite the emphasis we put on needing it) and absolutely zero idea what to do with them. My husband talked to at least 3 different people, but was not able to get clarification on half of the decisions being made or why. When he asked to speak to the vet, it was made clear that she went on break during the middle of this two hour appointment, leaving us without any idea how to move forward except to buy all of this stuff and hope for the best. I truly appreciate providers staying open to be there to care for our animals, but I'm devastated at the quality of our experience today. As a teacher I am working around the clock for my families right now, and I couldn't imagine leaving them high and dry the way that we feel by this.
