Experiencia fantástica: I have 2 8w baby Frenchies. Bodie was fine and getting into everything as usual. Benson started not wanting to play and then got to the point he wouldn’t eat or drink. Also, his poop looked like sold serve ice cream—sorry for the food analogy!! So I took them to this vet. They tested them for Parvo—both positive. After crying—ugly crying— bc I thought my babies were about to not make it, we initiated the treatment. Bodie got antibodies but Benson got IV fluids and antibiotics and antibodies. Within an hour of treatment Benson had a tiny poo about half the length of a pinky THAT WAS FORMING!!! This morning—8am— the vet called for status bc if Benson didn’t improve we would have to hospitalize him :(. Luckily we caught it in time and both boys are doing great. Benson had an official poo like 3 little sausages lol. they are both drinking and eating and getting back into stuff while I prep meals. It’s ok. I’ll clean up potty messes and Christmas decor if my babies can be healthy. Y’all…. I cannot recommend this clinic any higher!!! They close at 530 but immediately started treatment and saved my babies. Dr. Jackson was my vet & Jose was my tech. They were awesome, knowledgeable, and patient with me and all of my questions. I ramble when I am nervous and they never made me feel rushed or interrupted me. If you like in Orlando, this vet is the best .

They will answer all of your questions and never rush you. Vet care is top notch and the entire staff is wonderful. Luke is feeling much better after taking a fall.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been going to the Family Vet near me for many years. This last visit I went to get Dakota’s nails trimmed. It was $21.99 which is a LOT more than I’ve ever paid anywhere -it took 90 seconds. When I got her back, the nails were still sharp. I asked if they could round them off a little. They said that would be an additional $20. I am very disappointed.

After having several vaccinations my dog wasn’t feeling well when we got home. I called and they suggested I give him Benadryl and it seemed to really help. They even asked me to call back in the morning to let them know how he’s doing which shows me they genuinely care. I would recommend them wholeheartedly. 5/5.

Experiencia fantástica: My sweet 11 year old cat Slippers was a deaths doorstep after a mysterious onset illness that caused her to stop eating and drinking and vomiting bile. We took her to the ER vet on Lake Underhill on Sunday. We got X-rays, bloodwork, and fluids for 1,300. We followed up with YFV on Tuesday with the lovely Dr Morales, vet tech Jose and staff. She was not showing much progress after ER visit and Dr Morales was a God send. She truly saved our beloved cat. She gave her more fluids ran bloodwork again a b12 shot & reached out to a vet kidney specialist. She also prescribed Mirataz to administer topically on her ear once a day to increase her appetite. We scheduled a follow up appt for the next day to review bloodwork and learn how to administer IV fluids at home. Miraculously that morning she took a turn for the better and has been getting stronger everyday. Sabrina the vet tech that day kindly helped me film a how to video to share with my sick son who would need to assist with IV fluid injections. I could not thank this amazing staff enough for saving our beloved cat Slippers and the compassion and professionalism they displayed. I am a daughter of a retired veterinarian from South Florida and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking quality care. Thank you so much YFV for all you do!!! We are blessed to have been referred to you!❤️

Experiencia fantástica: I have been using this vet about 20 years. The girls up front a kind knowledgeable willing to work with you. Dr Garcia is my go to vet but they have all been great. Vet tech Jose is by far my favorite. He is great with my skiddish Pitbull . And great with my two little ones. This is by far the best vet in east orange county.

Experiencia positiva: Normally I'd give this facility a higher rating. Over all appointment was good. Very knowledgeable staff. However there isn't a good amount of space or a more private area to sit with your pet if they're anxious. I was also supposed to get probiotics for my cat but no one gave them to me and I didn't realize it until a day later. I was under the assumption that it was given to my pet via shot with an antibiotic shot. Admittedly that was my confusion, but I was sitting in the lobby after the appointment for about 15 minutes waiting for my ride and no one let me know I didn't grab it.

They are so loving and kind and treat your animal just like they were theirs. That is Pebbles‘s new home. They were helpful to me when I first came in because my baby had a problem with her foot with some infection, it was red and swelled, and they give me a very good discount on her treatment. It was a blessing because I was not sure, I could pay for it all they took care of her beautifully and I’m so grateful thank you guys and I’ll be back with my Pebbles Your fur baby will be very well cared for. Experiencia negativa: Pricing is just getting way out of wack. Since when does it become more expensive to see a vet than a doctor for a human? Vet’s don’t have to pay a large malpractice insurance! Where is the extra expense? Poor record keeping. Said my dog was late for rabies. How can that be, I take my dog every year in October. Said the other dog needed a new 3 year rabies, just got it last year. Also, takes absolutely forever to check out. On average 15-20 min. Last 2 visits. Used to be a great place, must find a new vet, such a shame

Experiencia fantástica: We switched vets due to not great experiences with previous vet, Family Veterinarian was recommended to us by a friend and they have been AMAZING!!! Our prior vet required us to medicate our dog before bringing him in for literally anything, and I understand because he's 180 pounds but he's a gentle giant, not one time have they asked us to medicate him, literally have got down and sat with him on the ground to calm his anxiety. It's always the same staff, no high turnover and you can tell every single one of them love their job! I can't recommend them enough! I drive from Mims to go there and it's worth it to me for the care they give to us.

Experiencia fantástica: I am a senior and i got my first dog 30 months ago. Kara's was an adorable 12+ year old long haired chihuahua and my new best friend. I first brought her to YFV to have her checked out, much to my dismay for a first time dog owner. Kara was brought up to date on shots, was tested to ensure her heart was well as she needed dental surgery to remove her 3 remaining teeth, as she had a lot of infection. I rhad put her into their kennel for a weeks stay. i cried as I dropped her off, fearing she'd go into the depression I witnessed when she lost her prior mom. Izzy became another new best friend when she kept me informed how great Kara was doing under their care. I felt like I'd left Kara in the hands of someone who cared for her as much as I. I'm never going to like putting Kara into a kennel, but now I at least feel that she will be well cared for. I've lost Kara weeks ago. YFV staff were informed a client they had 2 siblings pups that needed homes. I was contacted of these pups. Afriend and I each took a pup and while they do not live together, the sister pups will see each other. We are already in love! I will never look elsewhere than YFV for my dogs. I've already taken my pup to get current up on shots. Why would I go elsewhere?
