Fantastic experience: From my phone call scheduling the appointment, to the technicians at the clinic, everyone was very kind & gentle. they were knowledgeable and listened to me when explaining about my dogs situation. This was a great experience and rather affordable considering it was on a Sunday. The building didn’t have good sound proofing tho. Very echoey

Fantastic experience: We had an emergency that required immediate attention. The Vet and Vet staff went above and beyond to help and make us and our dog feel comfortable. They quickly resolved our emergency and provided affordable options for care. I cannot recommend this vet enough.

Fantastic experience: We’ve just might found the best vet we’ve been too. Our maltipoo decided to jump from a stair step and hurt his leg. We took him to the first vet we could find for urgencies and picked this one. From the moment we went in, they did the best to take us in. The doctor was really nice and knowledgeable. Thankfully our dog didn’t break anything and it was just the scary moment. She took care of our dog really well. We will use this vet from now on for his check ups. Really honest people.

Fantastic experience: I had to bring in my dog Frio due to some GI problems and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable and got us in pretty quickly. The price was very reasonable too and more akin to normal vet costs. It is very nice to have an urgent care and not have to break the bank walking into an ER animal hospital (when it is not a full blown emergency). I highly recommend Petfolk and was glad they were there to help get Frio on the mend.

Fantastic experience: Really can’t say enough great things about Petfolk. I’ve used them twice now for urgent vet visits for my dogs and they have been outstanding each time. For my most recent visit, I was able to get an appointment relatively quickly on the same day, had the absolute best care from the technician, Ty, who made my dog Odie feel right at home and comfortable and showered him with love. Dr. Moore did an excellent job treating Odie and I could tell that he genuinely cared about providing quality care. The team was very transparent about pricing and provided estimates and options. I’m extremely impressed with the care and attention at this location and would highly recommend to anyone!

Fantastic experience: The staff at Petfolk always treat me and my pets with so much care and kindness. I have a small dog and a cat. My cat is normally nervous at vets but she calmed down with the patience of the vet and assistants there. And the 24/7 chat available with their pet care plan is so helpful for any medical questions I have!

Fantastic experience: I have been so pleased with Petfolk. We first brought our French bulldog here when our regular vet was unable to fit her in for an appointment, despite the fact that we knew she had a UTI. Petfolk fit us in that day and provided excellent care. I joined the annual membership program, which pays for itself immediately. Today, I returned for my pet’s vaccinations and check up. The staff was friendly and efficient, and compared to other vets in the area, the pricing is so much better because of the membership option.

Fantastic experience: The doctors and staff are great. As someone with an older pet, I really appreciate the extended hours and how responsive everyone is. I can message them during the day if I have a question/concern, I can easily get a last-minute appointment if my cat starts feeling unwell, and we’ve even gotten good advice over their app at 1am when our cat was ill which helped us save a stressful and costly ER visit.

Fantastic experience: My male pup was seen for his annual a few weeks ago and just last week he was neutered. Staff is super friendly. my baby exhibited signs of anxiety and they were so great and did everything possible to relax him and felt very comfortable with leaving him in their care.. I just relocated to Raleigh and was looking for a new vet location for my pup - finding the right place for your pups care can be daunting - but so happy I found Petfolk. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: It's never good to get bad news about a member of the family. Aela, my nearly 15-year-old akita/boxer mix is nearing the end of her life. Cancer is... rough. But the kind folks here at Petfolk did what they could for her, given the nature of her illness. They were professional, kind, compassionate, and absolutely gentle with my dog, to the point where Aela was actually *calm* through the IV and the blood draw. The price was... high, but worth it for my babygirl. I can't thank them enough for providing the insight, the quick assist, and professionalism needed during this... incredibly... difficult time for our family.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sawyer and team cared for our Maks and answered all our questions for his entire life. They made his senior years the best ever and saying good-bye to our beloved boy as comfortable for him (going above and beyond) and us as it could possibly be. I will never forget the patience, flexibility, care and concern (not one visit went by without the office texting us to check in on him). Thanks for all you do! Previous Review: I would highly recommend Petfolk-Midtown!!! If I could give 10 stars, I would. Clean facility, friendly, professional, patient and knowledgeable staff and doctors (you rarely get both), price point affordable. My daughter's dog is a senior proned to seizures and we were very nervous when his previous vet retired. They even offer "Happy Visits" for anxious dogs where your pet gets to come by just for a meet and greet. Dr. Sawyer and team are amazing and responsive. Very pleased!

Fantastic experience: My baby Rio has been suffering from chronic allergies and the people at Petfolk have been the most helpful in getting him back to normal. Special shoutout to the vet tech Matt who made Rio the most comfortable during his last visit especially since Rio is usually very anxious. Thank you to this team!

Positive experience: I was upset with the prior 2 experiences with both of my cats. I have pet insurance which covers pretty much everything, so I feel like it’s understandable if I say “let’s do bloodwork and a fecal just to be safe” at my almost yearly visit (never had a fecal for my cat and bloodwork was 8 months ago). I felt judged with my decision because it was “too early” but if it’s what I want to do for them, why does it matter? They were kind about it and moved forward with it anyways, but I did feel some initial judgement. When we tried to get blood, they stuck my cat twice and couldn’t get anything, which is understandable, but you can’t expect her to lie still while you’re poking her. She didn’t hiss, growl, or act aggressive, but they said they couldn’t move forward because she was too wiggly and she needed to be on gabapentin. They weren’t holding her properly, so she could easily move, so obviously she would be wiggly. This happened with my other kitten months prior, and they claimed he hissed at the technician. I was sitting there watching the whole thing and didn’t see that. I would rather you properly restrain my cats and get a vein on the first draw, than continuously poke her and then want her back drugged. That seems more traumatic to me :(

Fantastic experience: My dog Martin has been seen many times over the last two years - between regular check ups, skin cancer diagnosis and removal, to a lymphoma diagnosis and comfort care for the little time he has left. I have been treated so well here and so has Martin. Dr. Sawyer in particular has been really such a comfort to see when I stop in. My dog is a bit of a handful and not the friendliest to strangers but they still treat him with kindness and make me feel comfortable. I would recommend them many times over. And definitely sign up for the membership - the 24/7 chat and free check up’s has been a blessing.

Fantastic experience: My dog Ghost has had quite a few medical issues lately and I could not be more thankful for Dr. Moore and the Petfolk team for always taking such incredible care of him!

Negative experience: I had a 2 o clock appointment. They check me in. I sat in a little room for over an hour. No one said peeked their head in to acknowledge me. Then I came out upset. One of the staff said I was late. The other staff looked at the sign in and corrected him and said I was definitely checked in. Then they had the nerve to say I could still be seen but will have to wait 30 minutes instead of trying to make things right. I was giving them a try cause they were inexpensive compared to Bowman’s but I guess you get what you pay for cause Bowman would have never treated me like that.

Fantastic experience: My dog is typically scared of new people, and she is quite large, so it can be intimidating for certain vet members. We saw two new staff today & both approached with a confident demeanor & treats in hand while giving commands. My dog followed & we were able to have a smooth vet visit, which is very uncommon. Would definitely return to see those staff members in the future!

Fantastic experience: We unexpectedly had to go to Petfolk when our routine vet couldn’t get us in early enough for our dog’s irritated eye. The staff was incredibly kind, patient, and took care of her like she was their own. The doctor explained things incredibly well and with patience. They listened to me while I explained what a traumatic and stressful weekend we had had and how my dog, Fergie, was depressed. They worked with us and made the experience of getting vaccines a little bit more pleasant for both of us.

Fantastic experience: Clean place, friendly staff. The woman who did intake was gentle and positive. She spent time with my cat and gave her a treat. The vet was warm and pleasant and fed her another tube treat while my cat got her shots. I love that they took time to make my cat comfortable. The doctor seemed thorough and explained what she observed. There was no pressure to buy anything. Over all, it was a positive experience for us.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was so sweet and genuinely concerned. Bedside manner 10 out of 10. My dog is 9 and she may have ingested something. The way she was behaving wasnt normal and i was very worried. Shes a small dog remind you (5lbs) so i bring her here (im originally from NYC so her usual doc is back home) Everyone from the vet assist the vet tech and the doc was very knowledgeable, accommodating and happy or answer any questions i had. I would 100% come back here again with my fur baby. Not only that but they also have this care plan that you can purchase that covers you for the whole year In which it discounts vaccs or dental care etc etc oh and i also appreciated how clean it was too! so i was very pleased with my visit today :)

The doctor (I believe it was Dr. Sawyer(?) was so sweet and so thorough with our fur baby! Everything was explained to me so that I could understand and be comfortable with planing a treatment plan for our cat. Fantastic experience: Dr. Ansel and Max saw Mollie today because her back left knee hurt and as Dr. Ansel took her time to make certain what was going on and she saw that her back right patella was swollen. She gave her an injection for the pain and meloxicam for inflammation and told me lovingly that she was going to be okay in a few days. I wouldn’t trust anyone except Petfolk with them!! Thank you so much for loving them.

Fantastic experience: I brought my cat here for a checkup and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. My cat has anxiety so while she’s not mean she’s gets stressed out really easily and they didn't judge us and were so kind and understanding. They brought her treats and even let me hold her so she was more relaxed. My questions were welcomed and they gave me tons of helpful information. Its also great having weekend hours for people that work during the week!

Fantastic experience: We first came to Petfolk for follow up care after our kitty had emergency surgery and have since brought our other cat and will soon be bringing our new pup. Everyone there is full of compassion. The annual subscription is a really great deal and it gives such peace of mind to be able to bring them in or chat with someone if something seems off! They are professional but very human. And I love that they provide you with tiered treatment options and never seem pushy or judgemental about your choices. They truly just want the best for you and your animals!

I’m impressed with the time they took with us and the care and consideration they gave him. They are transparent about pricing and keep you informed of everything they are doing. When they say they are a fear free clinic they really mean it. My dog went through a month of various sickness and discomfort, and Dr. Sawyer and her staff showed incredible care, patience, and attention to detail (especially important since both my dog and I are naturally anxious). They made sure Samson was comfortable every step of the way and guided us through his treatment with so much compassion. Thanks to them, he’s now healed, healthy, and happy!

Fantastic experience: My dog Gonzo broke one of his toe nails, and it needed to be removed. They were quick, upfront and transparent with the cost of service. I made a same day appointment got in right away. They took Gonzo in told us when he would be going in for surgery and texted us when he was out and when to pick him up. He left in good spirits and is now recovering at home with the meds we got with them. Great team here, everyone was so kind!

Fantastic experience: Getting my first puppy, I was very nervous about finding a vet I would feel comfortable with. I stopped by with no appt before I even had my puppy and they were super nice taking time to talk with me and setup my first appt. I see why they came highly recommended from a friend! Everyone we have interacted with has been amazing. No issues with getting my invoices to my insurance either. Been smooth sailing!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sawyer is the best! Everyone at PetFolk is amazing! They always make special accommodation for our 17 yr old dog Moby, who is dog reactive. They go above and beyond to give Moby the best care and make it a great experience (with lots of cheese)! Everyone who has ever tended to our fur babies have been the best. Matt is incredible and makes the visit fun. He is great at making sure the coast is clear for our reactive boy, which takes the stress and anxiety away for our visits. We've been to a lot of vets and this one steals the cake by a long shot! Thank you to all the staff for the care you give to the fur babies and parents.

Fantastic experience: As a traveling nurse with 2 dogs, I always need to find a vet in the area near my assignment. I chose this clinic because of their reviews. I was not disappointed. The staff are professional and courteous. They were able to get me in timely. I needed my German shepherd’s nails trimmed which requires sedation outside the typical chill protocol. While not an emergency, it was becoming a concern that I wanted addressed fairly quickly. They did a great job with him. While he is reactive, they respected his space and allowed him time to be comfortable with them. The nail trim went well and their treatment and understanding of his reactivity and personality made the visit pleasant and productive. Surprisingly, the prices were very reasonable. They followed up multiple times after the visit to ensure he was recovering without issue from the sedation or nail treatment. I highly recommend them for anyone in the area needing a veterinarian.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is super friendly and helpful! I wish I remembered the assistant and the doctor’s names as they were both incredibly helpful and friendly. They did great with my German Shepherd!

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency with my kitten who had a really bad case of fleas and was facing severe anemia. I didn’t have a lot of money but I was desperate to try and help my baby. Not only were they extremely kind and attentive, they understood my situation and worked with me. He’s not 100% out of the woods yet, but he is doing better. I can’t thank them enough for being so compassionate. Dr. Jones was amazing and I can’t remember her name she has reddish hair up in a bun I believe but she was amazing also. Such loving and kind people. You guys have no idea how much this first impression made was for me

Fantastic experience: First time using Petfolks and couldn’t be more pleased. I was able to make an online appointment and when they got backed up due to a number of emergency cases, they texted about moving the appointment later so I wouldn’t have to wait. When we arrived, they were prompt. Dr Sawyer and Lori were very personable and professional. They even had a kitty condo that my cat liked in the examination room. I won’t hesitate to use again.
