I had a couple of questions and she made sure to answer every single one of them, she took her time and explained everything to where I can understand. Everyone overall at this animal hospital is very polite and takes well care of my Lulu.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Piver is absolutely phenomenal. My dog, Jessipa, is a rescue and very skittish around new people, so vet visits are usually stressful for both of us. From the moment we met Dr. Piver, she was incredibly patient, gentle, and understanding. She took the time to build trust with Jessipa and kept her calm and engaged throughout the visit. Jessipa was so entertained and comfortable that she didn’t even notice when she received her vaccines which is something I honestly never thought I’d see. That alone speaks volumes about Dr. Piver’s compassion, skill, and genuine love for animals.i couldn’t recommend her more highly!

My 2 year old Belgian Shepherd had pretty bad vet office anxiety before we moved to Raleigh and started coming to Quail Corners, and they have almost entirely reversed it within 6 months. Thank you to Dr. Baldwin for always working to make his appointments a positive experience, and Dr. Posey for a quick and easy surgery experience when Niro was neutered and had laparoscopic gastropexy! My 8 year old Siamese Indigo also had a great first appointment with Dr. Edwards after we moved here. He has never willingly let us cut his nails but Dr. Edwards was able to do it in 2 minutes. They are amazing at managing animal psychology while tending to your pet’s health needs. The front desk and vet techs are always friendly and professional as well. I highly recommend, thank you guys for everything!

Fantastic experience: Just met Dr. Posey for our first appointment recently and she was amazing. So thoughtful, a good active listener, got down on my dogs level to be less scary, and let me be involved in the care so my boy had a less stressful experience. She was recommended to me by a family member and I can’t recommend her enough after just one visit! The vet tech was lovely as well. You can tell they really care about what they do.

Dr. Paiver, who used to be my dog's vet when he was alive, gave the cat a checkup and was very complimentary of everything the shelter had done. The cat loved her and gained some confidence from the visit and the calming environment at Quail Corners. Highly recommend this animal hospital.

Fantastic experience: Our dog has an accident and the team at Quail Corner took the absolute best care of her. Everything was explained to us, all of our questions were answered and the staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. On top of that the price was very fair in our opinion. Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff who welcomes you upon arrival. Love the separate entrances for cats and dogs. Katy cat was not nervous at all and the vet was so kind to her. Spent time discussing her nutrition and looked her over with care. Always easy to get an appointment and I love using the PetDesk app. I highly recommend this business.

Negative experience: Quail Corners Animal Hospital had extremely poor communication during the last few weeks. I called them over four times, spoke with multiple assistants, and also left voicemails. Every time, I was told the vet would call me back later that day about an important certification I needed. I never received a single follow up. After weeks of this, I realized I couldn’t rely on them and will not be doing business here in the future. No pet owner should have to chase a clinic this much just to get a basic response.

Fantastic experience: The folks at Quail Corners have performed TNR services for the local feral cat colony I take care of for a few years now. They've also taken excellent care of my personal cat. Everyone there is patient, professional, and work with you however you need to take care of your pet.

Fantastic experience: Love Dr. Piver! Knowledgeable, chill, kind. Have been bringing our cat here for about 8 years now and they’ve always been great.

Fantastic experience: The staff here is so nice always. My terrier had a medical emergency and passed quite suddenly, they let me stay in a room with her til I was composed and even helped me obtain a cheek swab for the embark test we were going to do. Dr.Edwards and the techs are also so compassionate with my human reactive dog, he'll often let them do a blood draw with no fuss now! The staff also always caters to my anxiety, going over even normal blood test results with me to put my mind at ease. I orginally chose this vet because they were nearby but I continue to use them even with a 30 minute commute there and would continue to drive that or more for such a compassionate clinic.

Positive experience: Pet Owners- read this review through to the end. While there are many wonderful things about Quail Corners, there is also one serious concern that pet owners should be aware of. All of the staff, and (almost) all of veterinarians at Quail Corners are incredibly attentive, compassionate, and genuinely invested in the wellbeing of your pet. Dr. Morgan, in particular, is one of the most compassionate and knowledgeable veterinarians I’ve ever met. When my dog was sick with what was then a mystery illness, she went above and beyond. Dr. Morgan spent countless hours answering my questions by phone, email, and in person, even sacrificing her own lunch break to make sure my dog was receiving the best care possible. The front desk staff were equally wonderful, always managing to fit my dog into schedule the same day when needed. The technicians are also fantastic. Their love for animals shines through in everything they do. So much so that my dog was actually excited to visit the vet. They truly make your pet feel like the most important one in the world. With all this said, if you care about the wellbeing of your animal, I WOULD NOT, under any circumstances, recommend Dr. Buyrn. She told me my dog’s lab results were completely normal, when in fact they were not. After speaking with Dr. Buyrn, I called the front desk to request a copy of the results. Within 10 seconds any literate individual could determine the results were abnormal. When I asked how she missed this, the excuse I was given was that “it was the end of the day and I should have taken more time to read the results.” I am a reasonable person, and understand that people make mistakes. But when you are in charge of lives, nobody’s pet deserves a lesser standard of care just because you are tired at the end of the day. Thoroughly reading through lab results (no matter how emergent or routine) should be a basic expectation.

Fantastic experience: We’ve had such a fantastic experience with Quail Corners over the past month since coming to them as new patients. They were able to diagnose and treat one cat’s thyroid trouble and identify and operate on the other cat’s sudden dental abscess that was making him super sick - all in the course of a month. We even had an emergency visit because of a medication side effect last week and I can’t say enough about how excellent the care was at super short notice. The doctors have returned all of my calls, filled prescriptions quickly, and really helped my senior boys get their health back on track. Vet care isn’t cheap anywhere, but at this office you’re getting what you pay for and more.

Fantastic experience: Quail corners is wonderful! I never have to wait long at my appointment to be seen. The veterinarians are incredibly trustworthy. I have seen them for my dog many times. They do not charge for things that I don’t need. They always give great advice and answer every question. My dog loves them. Dr. Piver is the absolute best And she’s incredibly knowledgeable!

Fantastic experience: I brought my greyhound to Quail Corners with a dog bite injury at very short notice when my regular vet was out of town. The doctors and staff took excellent care of her and were very reassuring when the injury ended up being worse than I initially realized. They were able to schedule her for surgery the very next day and when I picked her up she was feeling much better! Dr. Posey took a long time on the phone with me explaining the procedure and her follow-up care. Quail Corners made a scary situation 100% better for us and our dog. After owning greyhounds for 23 years I’m familiar with the costs of care at other animal hospitals and I find Quail Corners to be extremely reasonable and an excellent value considering the high quality of care.

Negative experience: While the staff was knowledgeable and caring, my dog suffers from anxiety and they were unable to do anything for him I.e his wellness exam until he was properly medicated. I mentioned preferring scripts for medications only to be brought filled prescriptions. And when I left they charged me $30 approximately per medication ($90) and an ($80) exam fee even though they could not complete the entire exam, and the only shot they could give his rabies ($40) let the front desk know that I felt this was more then I should be owing as the only thing they could do was one vaccine. I understand that my dog being anxious is not on their head but the fees they charge are about double other places In the area. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk they told me “we don’t make the prices” and shut down anything I had to say on the matter. I’ll be taking my dog elsewhere for the rest of his Exam. They also spent a good portion of the appointment telling me he should see their in house behaviorist and then on my bill quoted that a visit for evaluation from the behaviorist would be around $145 not including any medications or training recommended. Overpriced for what you get. Do not recommend

Fantastic experience: Dr. burn has been amazing. I took Kitty kitty in who is my rescue (from a dumpster) and Dr. Burn found that Kitty had a flea infestation, a severe allergy to the fleas, and epilepsy. These were all things another vet had been oblivious to in the three months prior to Kitty's diagnosis's from Dr. Burn. Kitty went on a seizure medication that helps tremendously and a safe flea medication for sensitive cats. Kitty just turned 5 and is thriving!! Thank you Quails Corner Animal Hospital

Fantastic experience: As in each of the numerous times I have brought my pets to Quail Corners Animal Hospital since moving to Raleigh 5 years ago, I am significantly impressed with the quality of service, demeanor, kindness and thoroughness of the staff, and of course the expertise of and communication by the doctor(s). Dr Baldwin listens attentively, and thoroughly explains the diagnosis and treatment plan, and has been extremely helpful with my senior dog, Gracie’s needs, as well as my senior cat, Daisy (both of whom have had a number of persistent health issues). The support staff have all been very kind and helpful, as well. I also greatly appreciate the optional discounted care plan, which has saved $$$.

Fantastic experience: Quail Corners is the BEST!! Dr. Emily Morgan is our vet, and we love her. We have also seen most , if not all, of the other Dr.’s when we’ve had an urgent call. They caught something emergent with our Travvy, treated him, and got us to a specialist right away. This saved his life. All of the staff are very knowledgeable and compassionate. They also have fair prices. We love them!!

Fantastic experience: My small dog suffered 3-4 bites from a copperhead. I called into the place that I was using as our regular vet and was told that they did not handle emergencies. I knew I had to get the dog somewhere quick and Quail Corners Animal Hospital was close by. I called in and they asked where I was and how soon could I get there. I was five minutes away. I walked into the door and someone immediately came up and took the dog back and started examining him. I had to leave the dog there while they treated him during the day. Dr. Edwards called with updates and permissions on everything they did as the day progressed. Several hours later it was determined that he needed to go to NC State Vet Hospital. QCAH called NC State and told them I was coming. Once I walked in the door at NC State someone came out and took our dog. They had a complete background on him before we arrived. I could not ask for a more responsive and professional service than we received at QCAH. Our dog appears to be on the mend and we are glad we called QCAH!

Fantastic experience: My dog had a confrontation with another dog, we needed somewhere to take him and be seen immediately. I was able to get care for him and stitches right away. I can tell the staff is genuine and caring. We all know some pet care is pricey and their rates was reasonable. I will continue to use their services in the future. I’m very grateful for the entire staff and the love they gave to Ace!

Fantastic experience: I needed a new vet for my little cat that had better availability and emergency services available. After reading many reviews, I called Quail Corners Animal Hospital to make an appointment. Dr. Emily Morgan took care of my cat yesterday. Dr Morgan was very gentle with Palla, she took a lot of time to carefully and gently examine her, and to answer all of my questions about post-op care and what to watch for going forward. Nichol, her assistant was very kind, warm and welcoming. The office staff was prepared for us and had already received the medical records. I truly appreciate the excellent medical care and the sincere empathy that was extended to both of us.

Fantastic experience: Overall Quail Corners is an excellent vet hosptial. The staff is friendly and they genuinely care. When applicable they will call to follow up and ensure my dogs are doing well post visit and always answer my questions with enthusiam. They never make me feel like im being overbearing or too much. I highly recommend Dr. Edwards! She is by far the best vet I have ever had for my dogs. You can tell she geninely loves what she does and wants whats best for the animals she sees. Fantastic experience: I’m so happy to have gone to this hospital for my dog. He is a Frenchie and had nares/soft palate surgery done here. His nose looks great and he’s healing so well. The doctors were incredibly patient and caring the whole time. Dr. Sanders did his surgery, and I’m so happy with her work, so is he. Dr. Liver followed up with us the next day as I had some concerned and she really heard me out and supported us through finding the ideal medications and plans for him. The staff as a whole were open to frequent questions and really made me feel supported and cared for. I also will note that their fees are incredibly reasonable for the work they do. I traveled a long distance because the same surgery was quoted for three to five times more expensive than what I paid here. I strongly recommend this hospital for your pups!

My dogs have had a few health issues over the years and they have patiently figured out what was wrong every time. Fantastic experience: My pup and I are new around the area and as we all know finding a new vet can be stressful. I rarely think to leave reviews but everyone who treated my dog at Quail Corners was fantastic. I was a wreck and my boy is an anxious guy who was having gastrointestinal issues and the doctors/techs were so good to the both of us. They did everything they could to help us get him better, Dr. Morgan even spent hours calling around different hospitals to find one that could best suite our budget for further treatment. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: The team at Quail Corners and Tarheel Veterinary Surgical Specialists have been FANTASTIC - absolute angels. They performed two separate CCL repairs on my 11 year old dog. Both knees were successful! Prior to the surgeries I was terrified to subject my Husky to surgery and consulted with a number of specialists. The doctors and staff at Quail and Tarheel were the first to make me feel comfortable to proceed, and provided exceptional communication and care throughout the process. Our hearts are filled with so much gratitude, and we highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been bringing my cat to Quail Corners since I first moved to Raleigh 3 years ago. They have been everything one could ask for in healthcare for your pet. Their professionalism and patience when dealing with my aggressive cat have been top notch. When I brought my cat in for an emergency visit, they were able to get me in within 20 minutes of arriving. Everyone in their office is so friendly and easy to talk to. Picking Quail Corners as my vet is truly the best vet experience I have had.

Fantastic experience: I visited QCAH in search of a second opinion for my 9 month old puppy's skin infection/allergy issues. I felt that my primary vet was not taking the problem seriously or giving us any long term options to control the issue. I was THRILLED when the vet at Quail Corners offered not one, but two possible remedies to help my dog immediately as well as a plan for future maintenance of these issues. My pet's needs were met and we are both feeling a sense of relief. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I recently switched back to Quail Corners to "come home" to my previous pets' hospital. Was concerned with Ellie's lack of eating and the fact that her belly was swollen, so made an emergency appt. to be seen. Dr. Posey took her immediately and started checking her out. It was much more serious than I expected, but the care and concern of the entire staff and especially Dr. Posey was phenomenal. Her condition required that she go to BluePearl to be monitored 24/7. She is still there and is stable. I cannot thank the staff at QC enough for their concern, care and quick action. I am thankful for them and for making the switch back here. I have a dog that is more difficult than most when it comes to the vet and she led a plan of action to care for what he needed and executed flawlessly, when we've had other doctors not know what to do. When I lost her, each staff member was compassionate and patient with me through the process. I greatly appreciated that during my difficult time.

We've never had a bad experience with any veterinarians, tech, or staff. Of note, they do NOT offer same day appointments. If you go same day, you'll be charged as an urgent care visit. We found this out the hard way.

We were there again recently Nov 2023, for a yearly check up on our cats. Dr. Sanders and the staff continue to be great, after all these years. The friendly care and treatments are wonderful. Fantastic experience: When our older dog experienced unexplained bleeding, they got her in right away, even though we had not been patients before. Dr. Sarah Baldwin was so thorough and patient with our girl. We appreciated her explanations and advice and her compassion. The office is organized and run well.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Quail Corners for about two years now, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Excellent with handling each of my cats. Even the older one that fights strangers. The front desk is always knowledgeable of what to expect next with process and procedures and takes time to explain it in a way that can be grasped. From a cat owner, I highly recommend them for your pet's needs.

Fantastic experience: I love Quail Corners! They treat your baby (pet) as if it were their own. Incredibly thorough, address concerns, and don't pressure you for additional services. I moved to Raleigh in 2017 so they’ve been my primary vet ever since. I took my dog, Fuzz, quite frequently and yes he was stressed, but they helped him get thru it. When he suddenly, unexpectedly passed and I brought him just hoping all wasn’t lost, they showed me love and support. They sent me a condolences card too which made me cry. I recently brought my cat and yes, a bad cat parent, he hadn’t been in almost 4 years, but again they were kind and nurturing. But they also remembered Fuzz, so the empathy, support, and care I receive from Quail Corners is paramount. I won’t take my pets and future pets anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I took my dog to them for emergency surgery in 2021, and they took excellent care of her. She recovered great. They were kind and professional during the whole ordeal, and kept us informed about how she was doing constantly. This is despite a world wide pandemic going on as well. They really saved her life and I am grateful for that. I took the same dog back today for an ultrasound consultation with them, and Dr.Edwards took time to go over her blood work with me,and answer all of my questions. Dr. Edwards and the technician were professional and helpful.I am very worried about my dog, and having a good experience with a bad situation definitley helps things. Thank you! *I dropped my dog off for her ultrasound at 700 am the following week, and she was home before noon. Dr.Edwards called me with the results before we picked her up, and she recommended the next step for her care. They all were professional and kind. The pricing was very reasonable as well. Fantastic experience: The staff at Quail Corners has been wonderful to me and my pets. Dr Posey is the only vet I see there due to she cared for my diabetic kitty named Shock. He got cancer last year around the time my dad died. I lost three pets due to different illnesses and my dad from Oct to Dec 2023. it was the worst time of my life. The staff there sent me flowers and cards for my dad and my pets and just took time with me. I love this place.

Fantastic experience: First time bringing my baby here and it was a great experience. The entire staff was very friendly, helpful and caring including the doctor who was very knowledgeable and listened to what I had to say. And my baby was very good for everybody there, so I was glad it was a good experience for them too haha

Fantastic experience: Brought in two of our dogs: 1 established client and 1 new. Dr. Strickland was wonderful, kind, compassionate, and concerned for the pet's comfort. She knows her stuff and shares her knowledge. Great new resource for the team at Quail Corners! Dr. Piver is our usual vet there, and we went with Dr. Strickland due to availability. Now we have two awesome vets that we know and trust at the practice. Lots of new staff too! They all seem to really care about your pet's well being.

Fantastic experience: I took a community feral cat here for a TNR through Operation Catnip. The staff were all incredibly nice, both to me and the cat. This was my first TNR, and the staff were very supportive. They made my experience very easy. I would highly recommend and would definitely go back.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been going to Quail Corners for many years with several of our dogs. The staff is alway welcoming and friendly whether you call or come in. The vets at Quail Corners are the best. We see Dr. Piver and just love her. Our labs love her too. She gets right down on the floor with them and just loves on them. Are you looking for a vet? Fantastic experience: I recently started taking my cats here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I like they have options for "work in" appointments if you have a sudden, urgent matter. The later hours are a plus, and it is nice they have separate entrances for dogs and cats.

Fantastic experience: These vets are really the best. Confusion over an appointment time, but my cats are really tough, and they made an accommodation. So appreciative. They are smart, kind, compassionate, no nonsense, and reasonably priced. I wish I could give more stars.

Fantastic experience: We are here only part time but needed to get at yorkiepoo assessed for neck spasms. The veterinarian we saw was warm, knowledgeable, low key and compassionate. Can’t beat that and our Teddy definitely liked her.
