Fantastic experience: This animal clinic has been life saving for my cat and I. Extremely helpful, caring, friendly, and all round comforting staff. Every single person I came into contact with during my cat’s major ER crisis. I will be taking my cat here from now on for any check ups and so on. I am so thankful for this clinic.

Fantastic experience: They assisted with microchip scanning on a stray dog I found , very friendly staff *update* they assisted with my senior dogs euthanasia and it was such a lovely experience the staff was incredibly kind *Update* I got a new puppy and he needed emergency staples from a dog attack, they were friendly fast and extremely helpful during our time of distress, i am pleased with the outcome of the staples and the friendly animal loving staff

Fantastic experience: My baby girl had been attacked by my son and step son’s dogs. Me and my husband were in an emotional state of mind. They were very understanding. They explained the procedure and any procedures that “may occur” during the process. The doctor and nurses where amazing in feeling our pain and reassuring that they would take extra care of our baby girl.

Fantastic experience: I-20 Animal Medical in Arlington TX is a good place to take your fur baby(ies). Dr. KRAFT and Dr. BLOOM are two excellent, knowledgeable, highly skilled, personable, caring and treats our fur baby Bella Burton as if she’s part of their family. Our fur baby had dental surgery by Dr Bloom and she did an amazing job on Bella’s teeth. The same day we met with Dr. Kraft and he’s been treating Bella a few years now and it’s always great advice from him. Their STAFF is also amazing. This location, Arlington TX, we highly recommend going there. They’re ALL great people….from front desk to Vet TECHs, and everyone behind the scenes that make this place great. I’m NOT getting paid for this review but am a very satisfied pet parent with i20 Animal Medical Hospital in Arlington, TX.

Negative experience: Don’t get fooled by the good reviews. Take current information into consideration. They misdiagnosed my cat, he passed away later that week. On top of that for a misdiagnoses they charged me $900! These are unqualified doctors. This center is not worthy of your time or money. Choose wisely.

Negative experience: Brought my cat in for a swollen paw and was told my cat just had a sprain paw and he would be fine. 4 days later he passed away in my living room. I called the hospital and was told they would not open an investigation because I wasn’t “promised a good outcome” but I was also not told that a “sprained paw” would kill my cat.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed bringing my cat Zeus here, even though I sometimes had to drive 30 minutes to get there. It was worth the drive! All of the vets I saw there were great but I had the most visits with Dr. Kraft, who is very patient and makes you feel as if you and your baby are his only patients! I am an overbearing cat mom that sometimes requested unnecessary things and he was great at talking through why he thought it might not be that helpful but was also great at using shared decision-making and still willing to order something if it wasn’t harmful and would give me peace of mind. I moved out of Texas and am now waiting in an ER that is a lot less convenient to use and seems to try to upcharge everything, which was the opposite of the experiences I’ve had at I-20. I wish there were another I-20 near my new home with the same amazing doctors! I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants the best care for their fur babies!

Negative experience: I paid $800 for comprehensive care, including bloodwork and X-rays—only to be told my pet was fine. Now exactly 4 days later, my pet passed away at home. When I called to report this failure to diagnose, the management was completely dismissive. Their only response to my concerns was "I'm sorry you feel that way." And were unsympathetic towards the passing of my pet. They clearly prioritize payment over patient outcomes and accountability. I will never trust this hospital with an animal again and neither should you.

Negative experience: I just want to take a moment of my life to Thank you for NOT helping my sweet cat because I did not have $8000 in hand for you to help her. You all will be so happy to know she suffered this weekend and took her last breaths this morning. This hospital is a joke. Addendum: I received an email today that said,"Your pet's favorite app just got better. " My sweet baby has been gone for some time now. I've never received a call, nothing. But they definently gave me nothing to help my cat took all my cash $1200.00 and sent me on my way because I didn't have the $8000.00 DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. I say with my baby 3 days until she died in my arms.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Kraft has been the informative, helpful and compassionate while treating our dog Bane with a terminal cancer diagnosis. I could not be more pleased with the compassion and love that has been shown towards not only our pet but us. We have been with I20 animal medical center for several years now. Doctor Kraft has seen us through? It's been very hard times and the loss of other pets. They also treat our other animals with respect and dignity on every visit. I would have absolutely recommend this facility to anyone who asks and a few that don't. Lol

Fantastic experience: I had to rush my Hazel in because of a seizure during the icy conditions. I was met at the door & she was taken in immediately and was treated so nicely. The staff were amazing. Would definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: My 14yo dog had passed the morning of the recent freeze and my local vet was understandably closed. I took Cooper here and upon walking in, knew his passed body was in good hands. Such a sad day but Ashlie made me feel comfortable and confident that he would be properly handled. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I took my 10 week old puppy there for a check up and I was also worried about her not eating enough. I saw Dr. K and she reassured me that my puppy was healthy and eating enough. She gave me some food that my puppy likes better than what I was offering. Arianna (the technician) was sweet and knowledgeable, too. I was in and out in a timely manner and had an overall positive experience.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! My doodle vomited 2 socks, so I took her in for X-rays to see if there was anything more in her system. Everyone from the front desk to the back in the treatment rooms were helpful. The doctor was pleasant and explained everything that was happening. I was in and out in a timely manner considering they were handing emergency cases, too. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: It is very hard to find a vet that takes care of exotic animals like my hamster without driving to say grapevine or something. This place not only has a specialist, but they are open 24/7. I love them and the way they treat my fur baby.

Fantastic experience: I had a medical emergency with my precious cat on Jan. 5. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with such kindness and compassion. They stopped at nothing to try and save her but SADLY God had other plans and she did not make it! Every single person stood out to me but one in particular I have to recognize. His name is Titan. Fantastic experience: I was skeptical going to an er vet - but I was so impressed! I called, as soon as we got there it was within 5 minutes and they had taken our baby back to a room. I had just gotten her checked in and they had taken care of her. I was really worried about the price to an er vet, I was surprised. Thank you I-20 for the perfect care and price!

Negative experience: I had gone to I-20 vet in the past. Always reasonable. Took my pug in for a UTI in the afternoon. Estimate $600 & presented final bill of $1200. This is robbery. I will not EVER take my pet there again. I tried to ask about difference in bill. They just said, " that is the way it is.". Beware! They are price gouging to the max.

Fantastic experience: My Maltese mix ripped a nail off. He was limping and bleeding, and the nail was still attached but loose. I took him in to I-20. He was seen within a half an hour and was taken care of. When he was returned to me, he was calm and didn't look distressed. He is gone healing now. Thank you to the pleasant and professional staff there.

Negative experience: Editing my review after having to take my Labrador into his regular vet because he was in tremendous pain. When I called the ER the next day to let them know the tech said he might just be sore but that he had been extremely anxious during the Xrays. Today I took him to his regular vet and he has a rib out of place. The only way that could have happened was with rough handling during X-ray. If he was anxious, why wasn’t he given something to sedate him or make him easy to handle? Hopefully we won’t have another emergency, but if we do, I will have to find another location as I don’t trust that they will treat my baby without hurting him.

Negative experience: We waited over an hour in the holding room, which was beyond frustrating. Then the tech started asking about an influenza vaccine for pets, I was confused but let it slide. The tech and the Vet were over the moon kind through the appt. We were there for just a yearly check up on our pup and cat, but the recommendation list was well over 1700 for the 2 animals. I panicked and took a picture of the list for my cat and sent it to the 2 cat rescuers I know. They were floored!!!! so beyond confused by the list. One explained vets recommend unnecessary stuff for extra money. The other asked me not to bring her foster that I adopted there, that says a lot. I had 2 completely different entities completely baffled by what this office was trying to pull. We needed the basics, things needed to get my pets into a groomer, heartworm meds, ECT. We just got screwed. Won't be back. Now I'm starting over trying to find a new vet and I'm 140 dollars in the hole. I'm 900% sure they know we won't be back.

Negative experience: If you really want to know what people think about this place ask on NextDoor! Last incident, I was sent to Blue Pearl animal hospital after 3 visits to i20 totaling 4.5k and with an uncertain diagnosis. Dr Given at Blue Pearl was able to fix my cats kidney infection that i20 told me was diabetes and or cancer. I was relocated due to BP having more equipment to test on site. And I got to spend a lot more $$ following i20s leads that were not related to what my cat had. Such a crappy week for my cat to endure the pain and stress of unnecessary tests and my family as we were taken on an emotional roller coaster ride.

Fantastic experience: It was bad enough waking up Thanksgiving morning with your baby in distress our normal doctors office was of course closed it was Thanksgiving morning but thank God I-20 animal medical center answered the phone when we called they took care of us they are the most compassionate and professional people I have ever met the young lady at the front desk I give her a 100 she was amazing

Fantastic experience: My cat passed away here last night. As heartbroken as my family and I are, I will never forget the compassion and kindness Dr. Gutman showed us. She was extremely empathetic and very patient answering all of our many questions. I will always appreciate the warmth that was given during one of the worst moments we can endure.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bloom and Ms.Priscah have taken care of my three fur babies for a few years now..As I just took my dachshund to have his teeth clean and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do it..my second fur baby will have his teeth cleaned in two weeks.Dr. Bloom has not only cleaned their teeth but has had to pull them also..they have done an incredible job..i am very grateful for Dr. Bloom and her staff.. Fantastic experience: Prompt easy appointment and quick service when we arrived. Sativa and the other lovely young lady were both very helpful in Sara Sioux’s initial exam and clean up and Dr. Welch was great! We’re looking forward to seeing them again for Sara’s recheck tomorrow morning! Update 11/18/25 for my dog Bobby’s annual physical and bloodwork and a recheck of his right front leg cyst growth. We had requested Dr. K, since Bobby saw her last time. As usual we were greeted and seated in the lobby with a ten to fifteen minute wait to the exam room. The assistant came in and introduced herself and verified what was to be done. It was tough for Bobby and we had to muzzle him even with a sedative. The doctor and techs we great in helping me hold and calm him as much as possible. I truly appreciate the kindness with which they handle my animals, my babies… Also, I was extremely pleased to find out they offer veterans and seniors a nice discount!

Fantastic experience: I-20 Animal Hospital is the bomb. Very courteous and professional. Everyone cares about you and your pet from the front desk to the exam room and the operating room. They have online pharmacy available so it's a one stop shop. Kudos to the team at I-20!

Fantastic experience: The facility is very cleaned, accommodating and very comfortable. They allowed me to work remotely in one of the patient’s room while waiting for 3 hours. Dr. Bloom and her team are fantastic. They explained in detail. My Corgi felt very comfortable with Dr. Bloom. I felt super anxious the night before since my Corgi had never been under sedation. Dr. Bloom was very comforting by explaining the procedures. Since we both earned our doctorate degrees from Baylor, I knew she will take a good care my Corgi. She is very skilled, compassionate, and caring Dental Vet. I highly recommend her.

Positive experience: 2025-11-08 and 2025-11-09 What a great place to take your dog! We'd have left a 5-star review however we showed up at our 730PM appointment on the 8th only to be told that they had 3 emergencies and we had to come back the next day. We drove 25 minutes to get there so a call would have been nice. Other than that, we had a super great experience!! The staff was amazing and friendly! Everything was explained out and nothing was done to our dog without our consent. We do go to a different vet that is closer to our home as our primary care vet. However, I-20 is our go to if our need is after hours or during hours/weekends. The price for the work was extremely reasonable. The facilities are clean and well organized. All in all we had a great experience and we will be back.

Fantastic experience: This is the only emergency/24 seven animal Hospital I will ever use again. I’ve been to dozens of other animal hospitals in Texas and surrounding states and I’ve been price gouged and not treated accordingly time and time again. I 20 animal clinic was able to get my six week old puppy in quickly, prescribe the medication’s the dog needed and they didn’t give me a pushback for not wanting to do unnecessary testing or buy unnecessary medications.

Fantastic experience: From the front to the back, from a old pet that had to be helped to the bridge to the new puppy my daughter got me a month later, that needed all her shots and has to be fixed. They have been wonderful and helped and everyone I met seems to truly care for animals. Even sassafras loved them ! The black dog is Sassafras , sassy for short and the brown pup was my soul pup Buddy who they helped to the bridge and is missed every single day! Ty 1-20 for helping me thru my toughest time and a easier time :)

Negative experience: We didn't have a good experience here and we'll never go back. We've called numerous times as my dog is still having issues, we reached out to discuss next steps ... Still no call back. The receptionists have assured us that we'll get a call back each time we've called but we've finally given up. Beware.

Negative experience: In no uncertain terms would I ever bring my pet to this place. The unprofessional and inept staff gave my dog an unnecessary steroid that would later cause severe internal bleeding and kidney failure. I trusted them to help him, and I have regretted that decision every day since. I hope no one else has to go through what I did. If you love your animal, please take them somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: We had to take our Alice to be put down here. It was a very sad and painful experience but the nurse, front desk clerk, and Dr. K made it as valuable as possible. Everyone was well attentive to our situation and Dr. K was wildly honest and helpful with all conversations. There were crazy long wait times but I assume that would be anywhere. It was a horrible reason to go to the vet, but Alice’s body was presented back to us appropriately on a high quality bag that is decomposable. Positive experience: I waited several days to write this so I could stay calm and focus on facts. A few weeks ago, our doghter had an allergic reaction to something unknown. We brought her in and were told the visit would cost around $230 upfront. They took her back right away, gave what I believe was a Benadryl shot and some steroids, and told us to continue Benadryl at home. After finishing the at-home course, within about eight hours her hives came back and she became very pink. We returned, and after a brief check we were placed in a room for about an hour, give or take, while her condition worsened. She eventually laid on her side panting, and I had to call from the room to get help. A different doctor said they wanted to check her gallbladder for a halo to see if she was in anaphylactic shock. Staff then came in with pricing. The “outpatient” option (around $600–$700) wasn’t shown until I asked. They said treatment couldn’t begin until full payment was made — yet they performed a scan first. The estimate was $2,669.54–$3,177.36, including vague “miscellaneous” charges. When I asked for details, I was told, “That’s just how the system does it.” I paid so she could get care. At 6 a.m. the next morning, the doctor called to say she was responding well and that the bill had reached about $2,400, not counting medication. When I picked her up later, she was groggy but happy, and I was told I’d get a $443.73 refund — meaning the meds cost just over $330. When scheduling a follow-up, I asked if — given how much we’d already paid — they’d consider a courtesy visit. After checking with management, they refunded the first visit and agreed to charge $60 for the follow-up. So exactly how would you review this? Overall, she is doing well now and being weaned off the meds. The veterinarian was kind enough to keep me in the loop. They even refunded my very first appointment. I feel that this business has room for some improvements in their policies and practices. For now, I’m going to give 4 out of 5 stars and hopefully going forward things get better. Soon I’ll add some pictures.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time visit and was just an initial consultation for my golden retriever, Abbey. Needs dental work on upper right tooth which is chipped. Everyone was very nice and professional. Dr. examined Abbey and set up appointment for 31 October to fix tooth. Explained procedure clearly and gave me confidence that they would do a good job. Will provide another review after procedure.

Negative experience: Staff is very friendly but they are trained to extract maximum out of you in name of compassion and not getting me to consult the actual spealist who was referred by keeping me, visit multiple visits despite of doing all the tests needed. My dog has some emergency dental issues and was referred to Dr Bloom by my primary care. When we called them they said they have pre consultation appointment with other doctor before I can see her. After scheduling the appointment, they did all the labs charge me around 1500 dollars for tests. My dog was very sick(did not eat for few days due to oral pain) and I need to know what's happening with his dental with dr Bloom. But despite of doing tests and everything, they said they need to review him week later, ensuring he is in better condition before Dr Bloom can see him. Pushing me for another visit. still not given me the appointment I needed for figuring out what's going on with his oral, despite of all the test were done. This process could have been simpler, make it complicated for their greed.I am very disappointed with them. I can understand for surgery he needs to be in better condition,but for consultation why does he need to be in better condition. I wouldn't consulting if he is in better position. I think they are commercial in name of compassion.i saw signs saying customer should be respectful to staff and they have rights to deny the services.You can see these signs inside every room.May be other customers are pissed because of this business model.

Negative experience: i tried to call and ask about when the exotic veterinarian would be in because of an urgent matter with my rabbit which is quite literally dying at the moment, and the receptionist hung up in my face before i could even finish my sentence. mind you that was after she told me she would double check as well. i already contemplated calling and now im wishing i didn’t to be honest

Fantastic experience: I brought my 15 year old dog in, it was an emergency visit. They were kind and understanding working us in as quickly as possible getting the paperwork done and a room ready to use. Didn't wait too long before someone came to access the problem and work out a plan detailing each test and the price so there are no surprises! Once the plan of action was decided they took her back to do the tests. I appreciated their attention to detail and explanation for everything they thought was best to diagnose the problem. They were not pushy and helped me to pick what was needed to do first. The prices were "reasonable" for an emergency visit. The staff was great and they called the next day to check in and see how she was doing! The meds prescribed did the job and she was back to her old self within a week! Thank you

Negative experience: If you call in and describe symptoms your puppy is experiencing they will offer no guidance as to whether the dog should be seen or whether it is normal. Turns out my dog had symptoms of antifreeze ingestion, and when describing it to the receptionist, she failed in relaying the potential severity and offered zero guidance on what the symptoms potentially could be (antifreeze ingestion). When I called back and confronted them about why they didn't tell me how serious those symptoms were, they told me that I was disrespectful and they wouldn't be helping me get my dog seen by the vet. If I could give negative stars, I would. They are beyond petty at this location and they do not care at all about your pets. I never got to see a vet for my puppy. Praying the animal hospital in Grand Prairire takes things more seriously than this DEI staff. EDIT: the owner still taks 0 responsibility for having 0 guidance from her staff despite me describing my puppy stumbling, vomiting, like she was drunk. They accused me of feeding my dog drugs, which got them cursed at. When we finally read that when dogs lick antifreeze (we have none on our property that we know of but we just moved in) it makes them "drunk" and could KILL THEM. This staff is horrible. The response shows that they'll absolutely take 0 responsibility if anything bad happens to your pe after asking this animal hospital for guidance. They literally suggested that my dog ate Marijuana. That was their suggestion to me before the potential for antifreeze ingestion. Horrible. Disgusting. That's why they got cussed at. And I'd do it again, you should too if that's what they say to you when you call and are concerned about your stumbling and vomiting puppy. I called them several times because other vets suggested that this clinic should see her on an emergency basis. This "hospital" instead blew me off and suggested that I have Marijuana at my house and that my dog ate it. Totally unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: My dog started an allergic reaction in the early hours of May 30 that I thought would be normal but it turned out to be quite serious because of the size of her hives, We went at 7pm when we left work. Since I lived here for 7 years I had never gotten a clinic that treated my Dogs with interest. They always wanted to just take your money, doctors who were with you for 1 minute and then left. I don’t know the doctor’s name But it was so comforting the way she explained to us how we should treat Olly in the midst of our fear of seeing her with her whole stomach full of red hines that burned and itched. The doctor was so kind, the price, compared to other clinics I’ve been to before, didn’t seem bad. I recommend it 100%! It’s hard to get veterinarians who really show sympathy and love for your animals. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Brought my dog Lilly to the emergency clinic and Dr Gutman and staff treated Lilly and myself extremely well. This clinic has a doctor on staff 24/7 as well as vet techs also. Lilly was in great distress and in her 2 day stay had the greatest care. Post ER Lilly is doing well. As always pricing shock was up front, but you are paying for a 24/7 fully staffed ER. I would say the pricing is commensurate with service.

Negative experience: Do not take your pets here! I brought my kitten with the only complaint being bloody stool. They ran a series of tests, charged me almost $600, assumed the issue was parasites and sent me home with medicine. In a few days my kitten went from being bouncy and happy to lethargic with little to no appetite. I called letting them know he was not better. They told me that he needed blood work done but that I had denied that in the previous visit. I did not deny blood work, it was never offered to me. They were pushy about me bringing him back in. Thank God I decided to get a second opinion at Citivet in Mansfield. Turns out my kitten has FIP. The vet at Citivet was super kind and fit us in at the last minute and since the pharmacies are no longer open on a Saturday afternoon, she's giving us some of her own cats medicine

Fantastic experience: Our dog Bunny had to be euthanized due to the large amount of cancer in her body. It was unexpected and heartbreaking. The staff at I-20 were incredible. They put us in a special room so that we could properly say goodbye. A few weeks later her remains were returned in the most beautiful box along with a print of her paw and a lock of her hair. We are so incredibly grateful to the doctors and staff. They are truly the best.

Fantastic experience: The staff and Vets were wonderful and very caring to my English Bulldog. I was worried he had a stroke, but they did some tests and felt it was more likely a middle ear infection. The medicines they prescribed seem to be working and hes doing much better!!!

Negative experience: I had a medical emergency for my 11 month old puppy. When I arrived no one was at the front desk. I had to walk around and raise my voice till I found someone. Finally when they took my puppy back they offered me water and I never received it. They didn't keep me updated with what they were doing but once. It was a terrible experience a,d I will not be returning. Puppy is ok now. It's been 2 months since I went there and they did something to traumatize my dog because I took him to the vet that I normally go to and now he's afraid and he almost bit the vet and he had never done that before so this place is awful do not take your pets there!!

Fantastic experience: My dog recently needed surgery and the whole process went smoothly from beginning to end. The staff was helpful and friendly, and Dr. K did a great job of explaining everything and taking care of our pup. Even when we were worried he had hurt himself, they took a look at him and made sure he was okay. We also use I20 for our regular vet care and we’re very happy with that as well.

Fantastic experience: As always the staff was friendly to Buckeye’s people and to Buckeye. Got him weighed and in an examining room quickly. Dr. Jamie showed up shortly and did a quick exam. After a few health questions she whisked Buckeye off for vaccination updates. Got some meds for the next couple months and down the road home. Buckeye loves to go to the vet, I know weird dog. He is at ease with techs and vets and loves their attention. Solid 10, sorry, 5 in our ratings.

Fantastic experience: The staff and doctor were absolutely amazing as we faced the heartbreaking decision to put our beloved Bella to rest. They explained every step of the process with compassion and allowed us to hold her and love her as she peacefully passed. Their empathy was extraordinary, giving us all the time we needed to grieve without any pressure or rushing. If you ever find yourself having to make such a difficult decision, I wholeheartedly recommend 1-20 for their kindness, understanding, and support during such a tender moment.

Fantastic experience: It was a long visit due to several emergencies. They were kind enough to take her in the back so we didn’t have to wait even longer. They did multiple tests and we were happy that all she had was a UTI. All in all it was a very pleasant visit and they took good care of my dog.

Fantastic experience: I am 100% pleased with the care my cats have received at I-20 Animal Medical Center over the years. I have used them for emergencies as well as the regular care of my cats. Dr. K is my current vet. She is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. All of the medical staff are highly competent and kind. You will be in good hands here. Wait time is usually reasonable if you walk in with no appointment. During peak times after hours, you may have a small wait if dire emergencies come in. When I have an appointment, there has been no wait time at all. This year one of my cats was critically ill and spent four nights in their care. Dr. K was able to diagnose and resolve the problem. I am grateful for her expertise and highly recommended her and I-20 Animal Medical Center.

Fantastic experience: 1-20 Animal Medical Center is fantastic!!! Everyone is so kind. My kitty broke her jaw and they took great care of her! Her recovery was a very long process and although it was expensive they were very transparent about price from the start. Pet healthcare is unfortunately very expensive but they are trying their best to be fair. Once I paid the amount for the surgery she needed they have included months of follow up visits and meds without further cost. Every visit they provide an itemized list of everything that was done and the cost for it. They truly care about your pet and will do everything they can to treat them while keeping costs as low as possible. They are the best pet ER and the only ICU on the Fort Worth side of DFW. I would 100% take my pet back here!!!!

Fantastic experience: We’ve brought our fur babies (Chloe & Bentley) here for many years and won’t take them ANYWHERE else but I-20 Animal Clinic. Every single person from the front desk to the doctors are all great!!! We appreciate them for the love and care they show towards our babies!

Fantastic experience: After having a major freak out yesterday, I took my 12 week old Frenchie to this animal ER. We have two frenchies, so it wasn’t my first time here. The vet nurses, front desk staff, and every doctor, especially Dr. Kaye, have always been amazing and no matter the issue always get down to the root cause and treat our fur babies like their own. Being right up the road and off I 20, their location is ideal and I hope they’re there forever. Don’t know what we would do without them. Out of 5+ visits, we have never had a negative interaction once. Furthermore, they also stock A lot of different types of dog food and our older Frenchie is on a special type of diet. If for some reason, her shipment does not arrive on time, they are always there for us and always have the type of food she needs. Just cannot say enough good things about this place.

Negative experience: Horrible. $200 for Welch to spend 1 minute and say maybe 10 words. My 16 year old dog had been gagging all night. All the vet did was listen to her heart. Didn't check mouth, throat, eyes or ears. Said she had a heart murmur and recommend $500 xrays. I couldn't afford that so she immediately came back with euthanization and said my dog was basically suffocating. There was no compassion, no helpful explanation or information, no empathy. Of course, both times outrageous costs were presented by another employee and I had to tell my choice to her, not the vet. I asked for medication to help my dog get comfort while she was dying and Welch refused. After I signed the paper saying I refused treatment, the girl said she'd walk me out so no one would harass me. I didn't understand that comment. I later called again asking for meds to relieve some of the pain from my dog. The clerk said she'd talk to vet and respond back. An hour and half went by, nothing. I called again and talked to a new shift person. Evidently, the other girl had gone home. She said that Welch was gone but had put in the notes that no meds were to be given without a diagnosis. I think saying that my dog needed to be euthanized was quite the diagnosis! And this is on your website: if your pet is critically ill, we will administer pain meds. So needless to say, my experience of losing my dog who I've had for 16 years was not helped by your clinic. Instead, it was made worse by a horrible bedside manner and refusal to help ease suffering because I didn't want to inject her. *replying to the response from the director below: I have contacted you 4 times now over two weeks time without a callback. The info. you posted below is not true. A vet does have the right to give medication without bloodwork if the situation applies. I will also add that with over 1,000 reviews, your star rating is only 3.7. That does not speak very well for your company.

Your feedback is important to us. However, I have watched the video concerning this visit and there are things that you have not included in your review, but we are most certainly willing to discuss this further with you. Also, we cannot provide pain medication without running labs to ensure the pet can properly handle and absorb what is given. This is the same in human medicine, you cannot walk into a hospital and be given meds without any tests being ran. Our veterinarians are real doctors and take their oath seriously and speak for the ones we cannot speak for themselves. We certainly have empathy for such an older loved one being in distress and not getting the medical help needed and deserved.
