Negative experience: Cannot get copies of prescriptions for our dog. Literally forcing us to use their pharmacy even when I’ve explained why we don’t want to. What has happened this clinic!!!!! Broadview Animal Clinic: as of Feb 09th, I still have not received prescriptions

Negative experience: Broadview used to be an affordable and friendly place. In September 2024, the head vet, Doug Davies left to another clinic, Orchard in Westminster. They lied and said he retired. After that everything went downhill. Prices skyrocketed. Dental cleanings are no longer affordable at over $1000. Morning receptionists are still there and extremely unpleasant. Now, just found out the best vet, Kvernmo left. All the good vets are gone. After nearly 20 years, we will never come back. I wish I could give 5 stars because Dr Kvernmo is the best vet. She is very intelligent and compassionate. Unfortunately, there is a really rude receptionist named Tami Ray. She has canceled a couple of the appointments that I made online for no good reason. Another time we arrived to drop off our cat for dental surgery at 8:05 and she said we would have to reschedule. Our senior cat had been fasting and had to endure a stressful car ride. We have been bringing our pets here for twenty years and this has never occurred before. To the Owner of Broadview Animal Cinic: Unfortunately, Tami Ray has become much worse after my review. I've been a loyal client for nearly 20 years. My mom and I rescue and care for stray and abandoned cats in my neighborhood. In the past year alone, I brought 4 cats in for surgeries totaling $3000. I live below the poverty line. My mom gets very little from Social Security. We save all our money to make sure the cats are healthy. We always pay in full. Tami Ray is heartless and greedy and doesn't care about animals. She thinks she owns your clinic. She is making up rules that don't exist. She is saying that I have to pay a $100 deposit for a cancellation. I have had to cancel a few times because the cats have recovered from their illness. I can only afford to bring the cats in when they are sick. Other people cancel too. When I call for appointments, I always ask if there are any cancellations because it means that my cats can get help sooner. If Tami Ray doesn't leave or change her negative attitude, we may have to take our business somewhere else. We don't deserve to be mistreated when we are trying to save helpless creatures. The other receptionist are all very nice and professional except for Lexy because Tami Ray works alongside her.

Negative experience: I visited January 26 9:30 am. It was strange Jason looked at the wall when he was talking to me, but maybe he’s on the spectrum. When I asked for a good faith estimate for my pet’s procedure Jason scribbled the cost on the corner of the exam paperwork teared it off and set it on the exam table. I wonder if that is any indication of taking short cuts during a procedure? A bit unprofessional?!

Fantastic experience: My dog was bit by another dog. They got me in fast as a walk-in and took care of my Mozart. They put me at ease and took really good care of him. I took his carrier when I dropped him and they brought him out in one of their blankets. Stuff like this is not cheap. They are reasonable.

Fantastic experience: The best animal care, I had two westies for over 16 years. They have provided the best care for my family. They helped one go to the bridge, now I have another that's 18 and my little man. I highly recommend for your pet's medical needs. Dr. Kubecki has a ❤️ of gold.

Negative experience: We used to bring our 4 pets to this vet, but now we don't trust them anymore. You call, it takes forever for someone to pick up and when they do, they tell you to come to the walk in the morning. So, you drive your sick pet, who is not feeling well and when you get there, they say they already hit capacity and they won't see your sick animal (even though the waiting room is empty). Are we supposed to have a crystal ball to know when they hit their quote? Or are we supposed to drive our sick dog every day hopping you arrive before other people? Basically, the walk in is for them to make money, not to treat your pet when you need. I called once, left a message for their supervisor but nobody ever called me back. That shows how much they don't respect you.
We value patient care, and our goal is to give every pet we see a high level of care. To uphold a high standard of medicine, we have to limit how many walk-ins we see each day. This allows us to provide thoughtful and quality care for the patients that we are seeing. We do the best we can to see as many patients as possible without compromising our value of high patient care.

Negative experience: The Staff here does not have customer service skills. They assume the worst of you. My dog died because of the services they refused to give her. Broadview Animal Hospital. The cost is Cheap. The service quality of care is low grade. Cheap Service, Cheap Care. Will never come here again.

Negative experience: They are owned by a private equity firm so NOT go here. I’m sure the vets and the techs are all great but they are being pressured to upsell, do unnecessary tests and everything is going to be more expensive. Avoid at all costs!!
Fantastic experience: Both in arriving and checking out the staff at front desk were pleasant and efficient. On prior visits to Broadview they also were cordial. Only saw the doc for several minutes as he did the vaccine and spoke of a couple of other relevant items about my dog. The only negative about Broadview that I experienced was receiving 6 texts and E-mails reminding me of the upcoming appointment. I get it. This is too many reminders.

Negative experience: Update dec 2025–exploitative pricing. $33 for a carprofen script that I get for $5 on Chewy. Why did I have to pay the $33? Because they only gave me ONE of my scripts on paper at my visit as requested, they refuse to fax scripts or coordinate with outside pharmacies, and I needed my pet meds. Another corporate buyout. I had been really happy with Broadview Animal Clinic, and I guess I am still happy enough with their vet care (hard to tell if additional testing was "necessary" due to dog's age or corporate greed...). I am very unhappy with the fact that they are now purposefully putting barriers to affordable prescription care with their captive audience pharmacy. Gross. They insist "we match prices" and "our shipping is free" but I didn't see price match options and free shipping is only on orders over $49. They will "sort of" give you your prescription to go... by which I mean I requested it at my appointment and was only given one of the two scripts I was prescribed. Very disappointing. Since this corporate greed process slows everything down, I am now stuck *mailing* my scripts into my online pharmacy like it's 1952. That will take time, of course. Limiting affordable access to meds in this economy is a moral shame, especially to line a corporate pocket. Dental prices are still relatively cheap (or so I'm told), but there's a 6-month wait for appointments. I guess they're too busy launching their "online pharmacy" and filling scripts in-house to hire enough staff for veterinary practices... right, because pharmacies are even MORE profitable! Oh and of course many of the vets have changed/left lately. Time for me to do the same, I suppose.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Broadview Animal Clinic for many years with several dogs, and they have consistently gone above and beyond. They’re a high-volume clinic, but every single visit I’m met with kindness, patience, and genuine care. Most recently, I’ve had a very sick pup who needed attention, and the team has done everything they can to squeeze us in and make sure he got the care he needed. Even on their busiest days, I’ve always felt heard, supported, and never rushed. Broadview has been a constant for my pets over the years, and I’m truly grateful for the compassion they show every time we walk through the door. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I take both of my fox terriers to Broadview and we've always had a good experience and good care. We do all our wellness visits there and they have also been great for more serious needs.

Negative experience: I had a pretty poor first experience here. I came in with my dog who was in pain and distress, I was also very worried about what was going on with my dog. The front desk staff was very friendly and nice. I was a walk-in visit and was seen fairly quickly, but my experience from there changed drastically. The man who took us back to the exam room never introduced himself or his role, never made eye contact with me. He lacked empathy and bedside manner. Was rude and short with me, not making my decisions easy or explaining things to me without my prodding. This man ended up being the VETERINARIAN! My dog was terrified of him and he made no effort to comfort him, only put a muzzle on him instead. We have never been treated like this in the 10 years of going to vets. I was so taken back that I asked if there was another vet available to see my dog. At that point my dog was already in the back getting X-rays. The hospital manager came into the room and was very nice and apologetic on this man’s behalf. I was told that he gets complaints like this often. She stayed in the room for the remainder of the visit when the vet came back in to review X-rays and lab work in about 10 seconds, which didn’t seem thorough at all. We left without any real answers or diagnosis after paying a bunch of money and just got pain meds. I would visit this location again as it’s a nice facility and everyone else seems great, but I would absolutely refuse to let this man touch my dog again. His name is Jason Rucker, and I don’t think he enjoys his job or even likes animals.

Negative experience: Since Google is just BEGGING me to write a review. Here ya go. Been using this clinic for over a year now. The 1st visit, the vet spoke way too fast and was in & out w/o a care. The 2nd visit the vet took his time but when I asked if allergies can cause seizures he said no but low and behold that's exactly what was happening to my dog. Blood test said he was allergic to very specific foods & once I stopped giving him those proteins he stopped having them! Thank God I'm a nurse & I know better. Otherwise the rest of the staff are great, caring & very accommodating. I still recommend them, just do your own research & cross check, maybe even get a second opinion if your gut tells you to. Edit: my husband took my dog here yet again after a seizure and Jason Rucker, the same apathetic, hasty vet attended my dog with no resolutions other than more expensive medicine. This place takes your money but give customer service.

Negative experience: I had previously used Broadview Animal Clinic for years for my Great Dane & my Lab. They were always great to work with and had reasonable pricing. This was not my most recent experience. We took our Livestock Guardian Dog in for a hip check. Most importantly when manipulating my dogs legs to get him into position they injured his knee. They also charged us double what we were quoted for the procedure. I talked to them several times and told them I needed a full picture of what the costs would be. They told me it would be $252 for the X-Rays and just under $70 if they needed to put him under. That is the only reason we drove an hour and a half to get this done with them. This was a bold faced lie. They knew the size of the dog before we drove down there and I asked for a all in estimate. When we got our bill the cost of the anesthesia triple what we were quoted. It was over $600 to get the procedure done. Granted we had to get him micro-chipped but that was $85. When I questioned why it was so much more they said oh well he was heavy so we needed more medication and we have to give him another medicine to wake them up. Why wasn't this assumed when we were given an estimate? They know this is the case and I told them that Liam is 165 lbs prior to making the appointment. We have a local vet that could do it for under $400 all in with the weight factored in and the wake up meds. I wasn't going to say anything but they also hurt my dogs knee and said he was born that way and needed surgery. The dog has never limped and when we got home he limped for days. Our local vet checked him out and said his knee is back in place and that they probably dislocated it doing the X-Rays. Beware this vet has changed it used to be good now they not only will lie to you but will be rude about it.

Fantastic experience: I have a 150lb mastiff mix who hates going to the vet. They work so well with us to get everything we needed done, blood work, physical exam, 2 xrays, annual vacation and the bill was the best part coming in just under $500. Would highly recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: Great walk in experience. We were one of the first ones there so we got seen pretty quickly. The price of vet services always seem more than people services. But this was walk in, so a much better price than emergency vet. I'm sure it was a decent price.

Negative experience: Negligent care and unprofessional handling after my dog’s surgery I waited to write this review until after I was calm and had all the facts in hand. Unfortunately, my experience with Broadview Animal Clinic specifically with Dr. Jason Rucker has been deeply disappointing and, frankly, dangerous for my dog, Scottie. This was my first time trusting Broadview with a major medical procedure. Dr. Rucker removed a growth from my dog’s leg but offered minimal explanation about what the mass could be, its risks, or why sending it for lab analysis might be important. The conversations before and after surgery were curt and uninformative. Once the staples were in, Dr. Rucker seemed entirely uninterested in follow-up care. Within days, Scottie’s incision split open and became infected, forcing an emergency trip to VCA Alameda East. The ER vets there documented that “Scottie’s surgical incision has dehisced (opened) in the middle and shows signs of infection with inflammation (redness) and dead tissue present” . They noted that “the original surgical closure was not appropriate, and there is too much tension on the wound edges to close it at this time” . The ER doctors had to remove dead tissue, flush the wound, and repack it with special sponges soaked in hypertonic saline to promote healing. They also had to prescribe a stronger antibiotic (Clavamox) because the one Broadview provided was “insufficient for this kind of surgical wound.” Even after all this, Dr. Rucker’s handling of the follow-up was appalling. When I returned 48 hours later for a bandage change, he removed Scottie’s bandage and sutures in a consultation room, without gloves, without washing his hands, and said he couldn’t rebandage the wound because he had no supplies. My dog bled on my shirt and in my car before I had to go back in and demand they cover the open wound. I was forced to buy an ace bandage at Safeway for the procedure. The “bandage” they applied afterward barely covered it. The ER’s follow-up documentation confirms that the original closure had “skin folded on itself… indicating inappropriate closure technique,” with “discolored gray/black necrotic tissue visible” . They later had to redo the closure, performing a “four-layer wound revision and closure” because of the poor initial work. Broadview’s lack of care and basic hygiene endangered my dog. I would never trust this clinic again with any animal’s surgery or recovery.

Fantastic experience: I didn’t have appointment, I did a walk in. I didn’t have to wait long before they got to me and the staff was friendly helpful. The vet was knowledgeable about my dog condition and put my mind at peace. I’ve been going to Broadview more than 13 years love this place.

Negative experience: Do NOT recommend this place !! If I could give it zero stars I would. Took our dog to check on his shoulder, come to find out he had cancer and we had to put him down. Long story short, they said we denied his ashes and was spread already, when we NEVER said that. Mind you we talked to the doctor and the tech MULTIPLE times about his ashes !! They told us they said we confirmed with the anesthesiologist three times that we didn’t want it… the only thing we talked about with them was about the process of euthanasia . All we did was sign a paper but with our emotions all over the place and not in the right state of mind we didn’t read what the tech marked on the paper. Now we don’t have our dog back home with his family. He’s out in Loveland scattered instead of his home with us. A dog is not JUST a pet he was FAMILY. But due to us signing the paper without throughly reading it we don’t have him. I don’t understand where the disconnect was but we had multiple conversations with BOTH the doctor and tech about his ashes. This whole thing is just heartbreaking. It’s very upsetting and frustrating. We’ve had him for 11 YEARS and stayed in the room from 3 til they turned off the lights in building, so what makes you think that we didn’t want him !!
We are saddened that we could not get your pups ashes back. We did everything we could to reach the crematorium, and our efforts were relayed to you during our conversation. You are in our thoughts during this difficult time.

Fantastic experience: Following receipt of a message from Broadview concerning the need for immunizations for my furry buddy I made an appointment very easily. When we arrived at the clinic we were welcomed and waited just a short time before we saw Dr Rucker. He has been our veterinarian since or dog was a puppy. He did a great job and answered all of my questions. We have been going to Broadview for 6-7 years and find it to be the very best...we would never go anywhere else. Thanks to everyone.

Negative experience: Jason Rucker(not calling him doctor because I don't believe he deserves the title) led my sister to believe her cat had a cancerous tumor... he told her it would be $1100 for a biposy and $5000 for treatment. Of course she broke down and didn't know what to do. Thankfully she listened to her gut and went to another vet that took a liquid sample from the absess and a quick look under the microscope showed that it wasn't cancerous... how can you call yourself a doctor but can't do simple lab work, especially as someone that is supposed to be in the business of taking care of animals... I'd say after reading reviews that Jason should be looked into for his false diagnosis that could cause harm to animals and to customers financial situations. Stop trying to take advantage of hard working people and actually do the job you were hired to do. News of animal being sick/having cancer can cause people to make huge financial decisions on the spot without consulting with another vet, this is a sad attempt at making an extra buck. Truly disgusting behavior.

Fantastic experience: We had our golden retriever in for an ACL surgery. Diagnosis, surgery and followup visits were great. The building is clean, well lit and well kept. The staff is super friendly and the prices are reasonable compared to their peers. Be sure to check their website for scheduling prior to visiting...they are really busy and see a lot of traffic. Walk-in times are limited.

Fantastic experience: I have been bringing my cats and dog to Broadview Animal Clinic for 20 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. From the front desk staff to the nurses, techs, and veterinarians, everyone is so friendly and makes us feel welcome. I have met pretty much every vet who works there, and they are all excellent. Special thanks to Dr. Kyvermo, who has taken the time to answer all my questions, gone above and beyond explaining all the options for my senior dog with arthritis, and helped me decide what will work best for my boy. The staff is always patient with my dog, who has been barking here for 13 years. They always know how to calm him down. The care and service have always been excellent, for a great price.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first time at this clinic, and everyone there was so very friendly! I really appreciate how Dr. Kvernmo takes the time to call me herself with updates and give thorough discharge instructions.
Negative experience: Although Previously I have had great experiences here, TODAY was Unfortunately a Very bad experience, confirming to me that this is No longer a Vet clinic of my Values and That I will not be coming back with my Toy Breed Dog or Cat. They initially had a few Hiccups trying to look up my Dog (who both my Mom & I both have brought in) to make sure they had all the records available (Turning from they had no records & Unable to find the different accounts until I show them a screenshot from my Mom to only some records but gaps, But Not being able to see certain previous records to having incorrect Patient records like incorrect age as well as double checking which records, As The recieved 3 year distempers shot In 2022 was recorded to be reDue at 2023 instead of 2025, As well as Needing me to send in info about Dental work done at the ADC Off Quincy & Buckley) but after getting sorted out, Two very helpful Vet Techs came to Examine & Follow up with him. I told them my concern of wanting to do a yearly update and to check His heart. I did reconfirm to them incase they didn't receive email that He has No Teeth whatsoever and confirmed Feeding Amounts. They assisted my Chihuahua very Gently and were tremendous Customer Service providers. It however took a Fall when The Vet Dr. Kubacki came in to discuss my Dog. She first let me know what She can tell he Eats ½ a cup of food a day (he gets ⅛ of a cup at Breakfast & Dinner, The correct portion size for his breed) and Tried to scold me about missing spots in Vaccination records, Where I told her there was both my Mom & Is accounts seperated. When attempting to listen to my dog's heart, she hadn't made physical contact with the Stethoscope when She advised almost immediately that she could hear a faint Heart murmur. After some readjusting she confirmed that she had infact misheard it, Confirming even with a Third Listen. She had an injured hand and when trying to hold my Moving dog for her to listen to, We accidentally brushed hands were she got defensive to where she seemed to try to rush through the information afterwards. When I kept confirming information she provided to me, she got very annoyed. When checking trying to Check His mouth, she was Shocked that He didn't have any! I told her I had already confirmed that with the Vet Techs as well as sent over the Information- To which she tried to tell me about aftercare for keeping his Sockets moist in his Mouth (That the Animal Dental Clinic off Quincy & Buckley who did My Dog's teeth removal in November said That after healing, flushing is Unnecessary). I let her know that weve been advised so and She matter-of-factly interrupts me and she said "Oh did you know of the dislocated floating knee luxating patella he has then?" (Incorrectly calling it on his Right Knee, Rather than Hip injury from when 2021. I know because We already took him there to this clinic specifically & I brought it up when he got his shots, it should be in the notes of their own clinic, Miss 'DidyouKnow'!!). When I Nonchalantly told her it was an issue we were aware of she tries to rush through the Vaccination information. When she returns with my Dog after his shots, We confirned my dogs change of diet for Protien intake (Reg to Senior food). In the beginning of the conversation she wa sure to let me know that the DA2PP Vaccine does have a chance to create a compromise Immunity issue that basically creates Anemia? But when I asked for further information of how long to keep him in observation for this change incase it does happen, it took a but of Repetitive questions before she clarified to keep on eye on my dogs behavior for two weeks and if there's an issue come back for Blood work. I am very disappointed- This Facility use to be Very helpful & Pet/Customer oriented but this time around gave me more issues than Answers. I've brought my Cat & Her NewBorn Kittens here, I've brought my current Chihuahua & Previous Chihuahua but Today will be My Last Visit. Miscommunication is becoming too consistent.

Fantastic experience: You guys saved my niece’s life. I will forever be thankful for the Broadview Animal Clinic. Every single one of their team members means the world to me. They took very GREAT care our dog. It fills my heart with joy! To see my baby girl come out way stronger, better, and healthier than when we took her in, not knowing if she was going to make it. To immediately receive the call that DAE DAE’s procedure went well, settled my worries beyond measure.❤️❤️❤️ The entire staff went beyond expectations to give her life. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience. They didn’t try to pressure me in to anything I didn’t want. Just went for a routine check up and it was efficient and affordable. A lot cheaper than my last vet clinic. And close by also. Update September 2025. I had to visit to unfortunately go through the End of life steps for my kitty. They were nothing but supportive and friendly and helped ease me through the process.

Positive experience: Broadview Animal Clinic is the best! They're compassionate, kind and beyond caring. They kept me calm when I was a mess taking in my kitty to have her tail tip amputated. I only wish they were open on Sundays as most times I work M-Sat. You won't regret taking your fur baby in to see them, promise. Update: take your dogs to a groomer to have their nails trimmed/ clipped. Vets/ techs don't learn the proper techniques (surprise, surprise) to do it without making your pet bleed and wince. After my experience, the vet acted unconcerned that they injured my dog. Zero bedside manner. Reduces trust that my animals are safe with that vet...needless to say, we switched to another vet within.
Fantastic experience: This was a routine shots visit. I wasn’t expecting more than the standard routine visit, but Dr. Rucker went above and beyond my expectations. My pug Waffles loves him. I can’t wait to go back, please give this outstanding man a raise. If I could give ten stars, I would.
Fantastic experience: Broadview is an excellent, affordable vet clinic, and the staff are amazing. Dr Kvernmo is a magician when it comes to her bedside manner. One of our dogs always gets super nervous with vaccines and actually gets agitated, but he didn't even flinch with Dr. Kvernmo. Her vet tech assistant Lilly was amazing as well. Lilly was able to keep both our dogs mostly calm while having their nails trimmed. It was one of the best experiences we have ever had seeing a vet. The ladies at the front desk were also kind, curteous, and incredibly helpful. Every staff member we encountered or met with at the clinic was fantastic! Update: On our next visit came in for vaccination a few days after we had just had a young teenage family member murdered in a hit and run. Dr. Kvernmo was once again amazing beyond imagination. After hearing of what happened she gave our little guy his vaccine and after going to the front counter to pay we found out that she had zeroed out out our balance so we wouldn't be charged. The following day a flower arrangement was delivered to my home from Dr Kvernmo and the rest of the staff at Broadview to express their condolences and offer support during this very difficult time for our family. I can't say enough how phenomenal this small but mighty in heart clinic is. Everyone at Broadview is truly passionate about the care and empathy they give to not just the pets but the owners as well. We will never forget how they supported us. Thank you Broadview staff for all that you are and all that you do.

Positive experience: It's nearly impossible to get a scheduled appointment, that is not more than a month out. Been going here for many years. The veterinarians know their stuff. The staff is warm and welcoming. I just hate how hard it is to get a regular scheduled appointment.

Fantastic experience: Honestly this place is really nice and efficient when i brought my miniature schnauzer in who's a bit reactive they were able to quickly give him a exam before his vaccines and the whole thing was so quick so my dog wasn't stressed at all. I personally also haven't taken my dog anywhere else in the past 5 years and have had no trouble and they help remind me when he's due for another vaccine.
Negative experience: If I could give this clinic -0 stars to the millionth I would. Save yourself from pet loss and heartache and avoid Broadview specifically Jason Rucker DVM. Our 5yr old cat Simba arrived with a urinary blockage on a Monday and was dead at CSU by Saturday. Our sweet boy died due to Rucker's substandard and negligent care. Not only were his symptoms ignored and our concerns dismissed but Simba had urine scalding all over his back legs. When I attempted to address it I was told that he probably scratched himself with his e-collar. Simba became anorexic on Wednesday and I was not told until Saturday (the day he died). We were told over and over that he developed fatty liver and just needed fluids and tube feeding for a few days but that Broadview could not provide that because they were closed Sundays. When we picked up Simba to transfer him we noted labored breathing and questioned if he was purring or breathing strange and Rucker scoffed and muttered a "hmmm maybe both". We were NEVER told Simba was experiencing breathing issues or approaching a critical status. It was only AFTER I shared what had transpired at CSU ER that Rucker began to mention breathing issues and supportive care that he supposedly provided yet there was no documentation. He claimed Simba had fluid in his lungs and was given medication to address the issue yet there was no documentation nor were we EVER told. Probably because it was yet another lie Rucker told to cover up his substandard care. Again, this was mentioned to me AFTER he called CSU. CSU recommended a necropsy because they too were not only shocked with Simba's fast decline and ultimate death but also questioned the level of care (or lack thereof) he received at Broadview. There is so much more and I could go on and on. Rucker accepted 0 accountability and offered excuse after excuse. Not only that but he blatantly lied about care. Rucker has had THREE complaints with the veterinary board and has paid multiple fines because of substandard care and failure to provide documentation of care. The most recent was 2024. He will now have FOUR. PLEASE PLEASE do not risk taking your pet to Rucker (I cannot comment on the other vets but they at least communicate and document). I will regret putting my trust in Rucker for the rest of my life.

Fantastic experience: The new waiting room was beautiful and comfortable! I was taken to a room right on the time of my appointment. I always pleased with all of their Veterinarians. Twix got a full health check and I was given suggestions for future care. Their prices are always reasonable also.

Positive experience: I started come to broad view several years ago because a friend of mine recommended them. While they are much more affordable than other clinics they need to improve their customer service. I went in for my dogs scheduled appointment( I was as a few minutes late) and other another person arrived at the same time. We both sat down and few minutes later the other person and their dog was called back. I waited 30 minutes and saw the person come out. They went to the counter to check out and was asked if he had an appointment or were they a walk in? The person answer a “walk in”.The doctor sat down next to me and talked to other dog owner and went to do something else. I asked the people at the front desk to confirm the time of my appointment and I was correct about the time. I asked why a walk in was taken before me? There was no reply except that the doctor was busy. I waited an hour for a 15 minute visit. Not happy with this. When I went to pay they took my card as if it was dirty or something. Not professional at all. After several visits and multiple misdiagnosis with prescribed medication that did not work. My dog was finally diagnosed and prescribe medication that is actually helping.
Fantastic experience: I had to make a very difficult decision to let my kitty pass. Staff was very kind and patient. I never felt rushed. The procedure was well explained and I was at peace.
Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at my appointment for my little dog, Daphnie. Everyone was polite and efficient. The Vet. explained everything and answered all my questions. I got Broadview as a referral from one of my neighbors. Since I’m retired now and on a fixed income the price was very important to me that it fit into my income. Fantastic experience: We love our ‘new vet’ here. My dogs have been patients here for a couple years. We had a great there when my good girl Dog swallowed a bone. But then it was all downhill. I could seem to get away from the person who became our ‘regular vet’ there. After several moneybwasting visits, I called to say we have to go elsewhere, but the receptionist scheduled us with a new (to us) vet. She was lovely and patient. I feel confident in my pet’s healthcare now

Fantastic experience: I came to Broadview for a 2nd opinion and got great news and a far better price. omg. far far better. AND the first place said that all our dogs teeth had to go but Dr. Kubacki actually was able to clean and save his fangs (to hold his tongue in) not to do me any favors but because they were viable! So we are grateful. I was also able to speak directly to the doctor pretty much anytime I needed to during the process which was very important to me. She was kind, the front desk person, Lexi, was kind and the after care instructions were very detailed. They know how to walk pet people thru procedures. I can't thank you ladies enough. Our pet baby is on the mend...getting more and more back to himself. If I have to go back I would definitely see Dr. Kubacki or Dr. Kvierno (sorry if that spelling is off). I hope we won't need to go back but still.

Negative experience: This place i have heard has been on a steady decline. Confirmed today when I called today to find out my aappointment week from now wasn't confirmed. The front desk associate went about blaming their system and in no way took responsibility for the lack of follow up. This was booked 2 weeks ago. Then said we could do a walk in but would have to pay for that on top of the shots with no offer to waive the fee bc of their systems issues. Not great folks when you consider we have been using you for the last 30 years.

Negative experience: We came in as a walk in on a Tuesday morning. We were treated like we were inferior to the other clients who had appointments. We were there for close to three hours. Had I known their were only now two Veterinarians who work there I most likely have gone someplace else.
Fantastic experience: Would 10000% recommend this place. My dog could not walk at all, they gave me a very affordable price on surgery to go in and remove a bone and they completely fixed my dog. I owe them the world. THANK YOU!!!

Negative experience: I brought my two cats here to get vaccinated and the vet stabbed my cat through and through. She pinched the skin and used excessive force to inject her causing the needle to exit through the other side. She accused my cat of urinating however when I managed to pick her up again the fluid was coming from the injection site. She laughed and said that that happens a few times a week. That it's normal and common for that to happen. In all the time I've been vaccinating my cats and talked to other cat owners this has never been a common place occurrence nor should it have been minimized like that. I took her there September 3rd and I just now found the address of the clinic and I had to warn other owners about this. This happened a while ago and yet the nerve damage that was caused by that has created lasting pain where she won't let me brush over that spot anymore. I never returned and that was our first and last experience with this clinic. The Vet's exact words were "haha yeah that happens a few times a week." I would not recommend this location to anyone. This has been eating at me for so long and I had to warn other pet parents because that was a horrifying experience

Fantastic experience: For the past 11 years all my animals have been through Broadview, I love these technicians, these vets, this location. Recently I had to lay my cat to rest, I had him cremated. Unfortunately for me, I reversed parked and had a great view of that side building by the main building. When talking with my husband after putting our (but very much my cat,,, I adopted Masa a month after my move to CO and he was my companion and best friend for a decade), I saw an employee leave the main building and walk toward the side building while holding a blue bag with insides having the weight of quite a few pounds. I feel, it was my cat in the that bag, and the pain became more tremendous. I know workers must be sanitary, I know a body is being disposed. I guess, a lot of care was given to my feelings during the moment, but there was clearly no thought that I would still be in the lot to see something sensitive. TLDR: I love this place, I hope their staff becomes more mindful when carrying out sensitive missions

Negative experience: I took my dog Sunny here for an acl repair surgery. They reassured us about a payment plan for this ridiculously expensive procedure only to be told at pickup that if we couldn’t pay for half of the surgery up front they would keep our dog. Currently in my car looking into the legality of such a statement and what to do from here. We’ve been coming here for awhile, so very disappointed. This is the only clinic I’ve been taking my puppy to since she was born but were definitely finding a new vet now.

Fantastic experience: Broadview Animal Clinic has always given our animals wonderful care,; I brought our German Shepherd to the walk-in clinic Saturday and Dr Kvernmo was super professional and compassionate with our shy boy; she gave him a thorough evaluation and prescription for an injured shoulder, highly recommend
Fantastic experience: I absolutely LOVE this vet. Everyone is so kind and obviously cares so much about their patients. I showed up on the wrong day and although they were busy, they found a way to accommodate my dog and were able to accomplish getting his nails cut with ZERO sedation (no other vet has been able to do this without injected sedation), saving me hundreds of dollars. They are also so reasonably priced, cant recommend enough!
