Fantastic experience: The staff here are kind and knowledgeable. They have definitely gone the extra mile many times. I can’t say enough about them. Really great. Dr Gump has been so kind and compassionate. The techs have been super helpful as well. You can really tell these are good people. If I could give them six stars, I would.

Fantastic experience: They're very loving and supportive group. They even helped solve an ongoing issue with one of our dogs that no one else could figure out. I highly recommend them to anyone with a pet. We have four dogs that range in age from one year to 16 years old and they all get perfect care. They never try to sell us something we don't need.

Fantastic experience: It’s hard to believe the impact this vet office had on my life 17 years apart. In high school 2008, my chihuahua was gauged across the neck by our cat. My mom drove me to the closest vet, Sanlando. They were able to take him in immediately and saved his life. Fast forward to 8/7/24 and ironically my Goldendoodle puppy was scheduled for his first grooming appointment at Sanlando. During the visit I received a call from the staff asking to Xray his abdomen because his groomer and two techs felt his belly and it was hard with a high heart rate. Following the Xray they called me back requesting immediate transfer to Casselberry Emergency vet and arranged his transfer. He underwent, surgical decompression followed by a lifesaving gastropexy with ex-lap of his abdomen. He is home now and improving daily. You do not find this type of consistent care often, if ever. Thank you Sanlando Vet for saving 2 of my dogs lives on 2 separate occasions. My animals have found their forever care at this wonderful facility!

Fantastic experience: 2024 update: cannot stress how much i love this vet! was able to bring in my cat who used to be a stray so fast! got her looked at so throughly to make sure we saw the problem. the vet gave me soo many options and advice to help my little kitty feel better!! no pressure to over buy things that aren’t needed as some vets do. 2022: have been taking my dog here since she was a young! they have been super great with her being a bit scared of the being at the vet from puppyhood! have been super helpful if i needed to squeeze in an appointment for an emergency.

I’ve been very lucky when my cat was sick and they got her in the same day and brought her back to health. The vets, techs, and office staff are very accommodating, knowledgeable, and compassionate.

Fantastic experience: My small dog was attacked by a huge neighborhood dog that got off leash and out of his collar. I called Sanlando and they took her back immediately and reassured me that she was one lucky pooch to have survived this brutal attack. I’ve used this vet hospital for years and they continue to treat my dogs as family. I highly recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: I called this animal hospital because my vet didn't have an appointment available. My cat was straining to urinate and I didn't want to wait. I made an appt here. I was seen promptly and my cat was taken care of immediately. Everyone was very friendly. Dr Martinez and Ruth were amazing. The bill was extremely reasonable. My opinion is do not hesitate to come here with your pets. A plus plus.

The staff at the front desk, the veterinary assistant Jennifer, and the doctor were all the best. Dr. Martinez treated my dog and me, with the utmost respect and compassion during a difficult time. She gave me straight answers, factual information, and helped us make a difficult decision based on her expert knowledge. She took time with us on the phone for follow up questions. Fantastic experience: I had to bring my 1 year old male cat in for what I suspected to be a UTI. Knowing this situation can turn bad FAST, I booked the next appointment available. Not only were they very fast getting me back, they handled Pauly D with such love and compassion! They explained the diagnosis process and walked me through the best treatment plan available for my baby boy. They even showed me pictures of the x-rays they took and the images from the urinalysis! Dr. Kelsey Gump was amazing, very kind and thorough with the information she provided. Vet tech Jennie was super sweet and even said Pauly D was a gentleman for her! At the end of it all, Jennie helped me pick out a diet for Pauly D, and I was even assisted out to my car by Kenzie. This was a very pleasant visit for an unpleasant situation. I will never go anywhere else again! Thank you to everybody at Sanlando for caring for our babies with the upmost quality and compassion possible!

Fantastic experience: We have seen several different vets here over the years, but one thing that stands out is that they have all been wonderful!!! We have been bringing our pets here for 20 years. Recently talked to someone about prices, and turns out Sanlando is very competitive with prices! They also help out with foster animal costs, which I have had to utilize in the past. Simply wonderful staff. Thank you for loving my pets as much as I do (or at least pretending like you do!) <3 <3 <3

Fantastic experience: This is the Best veterinary clinic in Central Florida. They always have availability for emergency appointments, when we need them. I have been with them for over 10 years now and I highly recommend them to anyone in the central Florida and adjacent areas with cats and dogs. The staff is knowledgeable and compassionate. They Have the small vet feel to them with a robust staff to ensure that you can always get an appointment quickly, whether it be a well visit or an emergency. I have fostered many animals through the years, particularly ones that are older or have health conditions. Sanlando is the only vet clinic I would trust, especially ones with chronic health conditions. I had a foster dog with chronic pancreatitis, and the care we received was phenomenal. She would not have survived her first pancreatic attack, if it had not been for the quick actions and extensive knowledge of the staff. Most recently, my beloved foster-fail cat needed emergency care, and they were able to get me in with within a few hours. They were quick to whisk him back to start triage to stabilize him, while someone explained what was critically necessary to do right now vs what can wait but would be helpful for diagnosis. The quality of care and transparency of treatment is phenomenal!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Donald is wonderful. He is thorough, patient, and knowledgeable. I trust his guidance and have every confidence in the care he provides to both my aging dog and my new puppy. He is great about providing information and time to allow me to make decisions, and is happy to answer follow up questions. He was so kind and compassionate to my dog (and to me as I was grieving) that I lost earlier this year. I joined a pet plan through work to help with expenses, but when I saw that he wasn’t on the list of vets, I decided not to use it as I have no intention of changing vets. I highly recommend Dr. Donald.

Fantastic experience: We love Sanlando Springs Animal Hospital! Front desk staff and tech's are kind, helpful and have a good sense of humor. We see Dr. Donald and simply love him and his gentle and thorough care of our lab. He has patients with the parents too, answering all of our questions. Their website has been updated and you can now schedule your appointments online. The online pharmacy is great too, no need to fax prescriptions anywhere, the vets handle it all electronically. Can't say enough good things about this practice!

We also had a quick visit for GI distress everyone even the Vets I’ve met I’m impressed. They’re friendly professional and I am very happy with the care my fur babies have received. Fantastic experience: This office and all the staff within are the embodiment of what pet care should be! I take all my animals here! I have a high anxiety cat with late term heart disease and they did everything to make my boy and I feel comfortable and informed. My brother recently started making the drive for his dog to be treated here as well, and they were extremely kind, informative, and realistic throughout all visits. All of my animals needs are taken care of and they always make sure to check back in.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Martinez is very well knowledgeable and very experienced with senior dogs and critical illness. I went there after my dog went into acute renal failure and UCF gave him 5% chance of survival maximum a month to live.other vets gave up on him but not her. He had a heart condition and she balanced both kidney, heart conditions and his general health . She kept him alive for a year after. Vet visit was very stressful for Cookie, with all the frequent X-rays, tests and bloodwork and he would get worse with stress. The vet tech and staff were very keen not to stress him and would ask me to come for another tech visit if they find him more stressed. They cared for him and they call to follow up. Unfortunately I had to move an hour away and the car drive was long for my dog. I had to find a closer vet. We saw 4 vets after and they weren’t as qualified. They were even surprised that my dog was still alive. He passed away few months after we moved and I know if he was still seeing Dr. Martinez he would have been alive or at least wouldn’t have suffered. Thank you for believing in Cookie while no one else did.

Fantastic experience: Sanlando staff is fantastic. I have 2 terrified, born feral cats, and the staff is so understanding of how hard it is for me to bring them in. They always work with me to take care of everything at once knowing they might not see them again for some time. Very happy and been with Sanlando for at least 10 years

Fantastic experience: Great vet experience with Dr. Saffold. Great vet tech Lucy. I found an adult, male stray cat. Brought him in for health check. These staff members were very professional, caring and advisory on next steps for his care.

Fantastic experience: Our mobile vet referred us here for a teeth cleaning and possible tooth extraction. The staff and vet were super friendly, knowledgeable and great with our Labrador. We will definitely be back and recommend.

Negative experience: I am sad to share this review because I have shared a 5 star review before because of the amazing care that Dr Donald gave to our Senior Weimaraner Judah that ended up passing in October of 2020. We also had a Senior Weimaraner Jade that passed in February 2023. We had her ashes sent to Sanlando Springs as this was our vet. I wish that I could remember the name of the front desk person that was soooo Rude to us when we went to pick up my baby girl's ashes. My husband was with me and we were in shock at how rude and absolutely UNCOMPASSIONATE this lady was....still shocked and it is almost one year later. I have worked in the health care industry and I realize it is stressful, but with all that is in by God's grace, I tried to be understanding and compassionate when people lost their loved ones and I know to some people it is "just a dog" but to me she was so much more. I will NEVER step foot in this office because of this person...I pray she has moved on because clearly she is NOT to this profession. I say all this to let the OTHER AMAZING PEOPLE at Sanlando Springs Animal Hospital know this front desk person is the reason we are now taking our new puppy to a different vet! Please research this with my name and dog's name to see who this lady was...honestly she needs to be fired! And maybe she already has been Kim Platt (Jade and Judahs Mom)

Fantastic experience: When I called the afternoon of the day before Thanksgiving and explained that my poor kitty was vomiting, Terri quickly gave me an appointment within 2 hours! Then Dr. Janae Saffold thoroughly assessed my cat and provided exams and treatment that she felt would definitely help him. But, she was also compassinate enouggh - for the cat and for me ! - to reassure me that if he wasn't fine by Friday to immediately call them so they could see him again. I feel that both my cat and I were handled by caring individuals at Sanlando Springs Animal Hospital!

Fantastic experience: My preferred vet is Dr Donald at Sanlando Springs. He is very caring and knowledgeable. He won’t make recommendations for services unless he truly believes they are needed. I won’t take my cats to anyone else. He’s one of a kind.

Fantastic experience: We haven’t had a puppy in a long time, and during our first visit with Dr. Martinez I had lots of questions. She answered each one in a calm, professional manner. I really appreciated the time she spent with this nervous mama!

Fantastic experience: Called in the morning and got a same day appt. at 11:00AM for a sick kitten. Our former vet retired and tiis was my first experience at Sanlando Springs Animal Hospital. A friend had recommended them, and they exceeded my expectations. Dr. Gump is a gem, and will now be our go to doctor for our 4 cats. She took a through history and asked a number of relevant questions. She took the time to ensure any questions I had were addressed. She prescribed some initial medication and ordered a lab test. I was even given the option of 2 similar tests, with one more costly, but with a higher level of accuracy. She called me the following evening with the results and gave me options of a pill, liquid or granular form of the same medication. I chose granular and it is working out well mixed in with the kitten's food. Annabel seems to be feeling better already. Without any reservations, I can highly recommend Dr. Gump and Sanlando Springs Animal Hospital.

Fantastic experience: Leslie did an amazing job grooming my dog this week. She turned out beautiful! Leslie even posted an adorable Christmas picture and video of her being groomed so I could see how happy our pup was getting groomed. We will definitely be coming back!

Negative experience: I am so disappointed in Sanlando Animal Hospital. We have 2 dogs and have been going to them for 5 years. I recently took my older dog bc he was acting strangely. They did bloodwork and said everything was normal except for elevated red blood cells and they wanted to do an X-ray. They didn't schedule it until 4 days later, but by Wednesday night our sweet dog had passed. I called SAH to discuss what could have happened, and never heard back from the doctor or staff. Some counseling during this difficult time were deserved; we will not be going back.

Positive experience: Good quality compassionate care but be prepared to drop over $1K for blood work meds X-rays and treatments. Ask them to prioritize the treatment plan with must dos and nice to haves. Don’t be afraid to challenge them on why something is needed.

Fantastic experience: Wr have a Family member that suffers from chronic Pancreatitis, so we are extremely protective of her ( our Boxer). We trust Sanlando Springs Animal Hospital because they’ve earned our trust. Their ‘ Care Factor’ , and their ‘Knowledge’ equated with their ‘Passion’ gives us great Peace knowing that our little sweetheart is in Very Good hands.

Fantastic experience: The team there is great. They always get my pugs in when they are sick and take great care of them. The staff is very friendly and genuinely care about my girls. This is the only place Ive taken them since they were puppies.

Fantastic experience: We had our first visit on Saturday. We drove over 45 min after a friend said she loves this veterinary office. She was not wrong! We had a great first visit and are now in the process of transferring all the of our fur babies care over to Sanlando Springs Animal Hospital. The front staff was fantastic, our vet tech made sure to make our big boy feel comfortable, and Dr. Donald was very thorough and took his time with us. We are beyond thrilled to have this office take care of our three pups!

Fantastic experience: We recently fostered what we believe to be a Great Weimaraner, Beau. After fostering for a few months we decided to keep him! We needed a veterinary near by for annual check ups and what not. I searched online and drove by this clinic! It is clean, staff was efficient with check in and new patients paperwork. Vet visit went smoothly, they were kind, patient, knowledgeable and overall the best vet experience I’ve had so far!

Fantastic experience: Excellent veterinary clinic. The Vet and Techs are great with our pets. Our chihuahua needed an almost full tooth extraction which we had done at Sanlando. They treated her with a lot of patience and kindness. Laceys surgery went really well and the process was as smooth as possible. We will continue bringing our pets here

Fantastic experience: The doctors and staff here are amazing. They worked me in when I didn’t have an appointment and my cat was ill. Although the visit was expensive. It was worth it. They took amazing care of my pet and now 2 days later he’s doing great and back to his normal self! The staff and doctor were compassionate, caring and handled both me and my pet with loving care. 6 month later update: All is well and we have 2 new kittens! All 3 have received wonderful care from the staff here.
