Fantastic experience: We took our elder cat who was suffering from health issues to Cornerstone for an initial visit and we couldn’t be happier! When we walked into the clinic, it was such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. We could tell just how caring the staff was there. Dr Margadant was so kind and informative about what may be causing our 18 year old ca’s problem. We are hopeful that his health issues will be helped with the medications prescribed. They even called us the next day to see how he was doing! We highly recommend this very caring team at Cornerstone Vet Clinic.

Negative experience: I have never seen a vet practice like this. It was unusual that I had to give a credit card number to make an appointment. But, I did. Then they charged me for test the dog didn’t have. When I caught it, they said that was for a test in the future! Ridiculous! We won’t be back, and I suggest everyone find another veterinary service.

Positive experience: I can only give this practice credit for getting my pet in to be seen quickly. Nothing else was that great of an experience, from our time in clinic when they took my pet away from the exam room to draw blood, until I had to ask several times for a quote for care. The last communication I had from them was via email, where they offered me to surrender my pet because I couldn't afford his care. They also did not give me a prescription for my pets' recommended food, rather they suggested whoever I ordered it from contact them. I would not recommend this veterinarian to anyone.

Negative experience: If you are looking for the nicest office staff and techs around this is the place. Dr. Margadant is very kind too but I will no longer take my girl to her because she had been suffering for over a year with GI issues. Every time there was diarrhea, vomiting, or something just not right Dr. Margadant would treat her symptoms with probiotics, antibiotics, anti nausea pills, tons of tests, whatever she had up her sleeve, but we were back so many times I lost count. Seems she didn’t care enough to try to find the cause. And the amount of money she took from me…UGH. Dr. M. told me at one point to take her to a specialist because she couldn’t do anything else for her. I ended up making 3 round trips to the University of Florida Small Animal Hospital where bottom line they still treated just the symptoms. I finally decided we couldn’t run this course anymore and I kick myself for not doing it much MUCH sooner. I took her to another veterinarian where on DAY 1 they performed a test no one else ever had done and with the right treatment VOILA! She is healthy, happy, no longer licking her paws or itching and her poops are picture perfect! I was told she was likely allergic to chicken so was given an expensive prescription diet. I asked Dr. M. several months later what else could she recommend non-prescription and was told nothing, that she would have to stay on the prescription. Well, guess what? She is back to eating The Honest Kitchen Chicken and Oats and is thriving! She is catching up on lost time and plays so much! It’s like she’s regaining her puppy zest! My heart is full! If you have just run of the mill veterinarian needs this is a very nice office, but don’t throw Dr. Margadant any curve balls because it will cost you a fortune and will be never ending.

Po lived to be 20 years old, and Yoda lived to be 22 years old, with the care of the Cornerstone Veterinary Center staff. I am entrusting my new dog Kevin who is two years old to their care.

Positive experience: The only reason I didn't give a 5 is b/c I like to be in the "room where it happens" meaning all exams & blood draws, BUT the staff was friendly & efficient and the Dr. was very good, didn't push tests, and did suggest an alternative for my dog's seizures that my previous vet didn't. I'll be taking all 3 of my GSPs there

Fantastic experience: The staff is always so friendly and Dr M is so thorough. She never has any problems teaching you or taking her time with you to explain something. I don't ever get that "rushed" feeling you sometimes get. She is also very good with the animals and really uses the fear free methods well.

Fantastic experience: Vet was very to the point about my cat's illness, what he needed in order to get better and what to expect. We have 14 cats and we need great care without the frills or up sales that many clinics engage in. I didn't walk out of there with a massive bill, and we're on track to get my 15 year old boy feeling much better.

Fantastic experience: Thank god for Cornerstone the staff and Dr. M were there to treat my Lucy when I brought her in so sick with stomach trouble and severe dehydration from vomiting so much after Lucy witnessed her daddy ( my husband) drop from a heart attack and die in my house and we believe this shocked Lucy and sent her for emergency care . I have been getting chemo for cancer and the trauma was just to much for me and Lucy. Cornerstone was nice enough to keep her while I travel back home to New Jersey to bury my husband I know Lucy is in great hands. Thank you Cornerstone for keeping my baby i will be back soon .

Fantastic experience: Staff and Dr are very friendly My dog has had to be put under each visit, but they are friendly and informative.

Negative experience: Took my dog in just to check his eyes. They seemed like they just kept up selling me. It turned into a sales event rather than the issue at hand. Also my dog never growls but here he did slightly and then they proceeded to give me medicine to make him like a dud for the next visit with a muzzle. Then we had an emergency. Went to take him here. And they said the vet left for the day. And they were kind of rude about it. It’s like why are you still open if the vet is gone since you can’t release my dogs paperwork for another vet. Not to mention the name of my dog or knowing we were coming for a visit they were terrified when he’s a well behaved dog. We also have two other dogs which they still tried to upsell other medicines when in the end it was just allergies. Next morning took my dog to our old vet. No sales pitch. No pre checkup medicines. No muzzle. No growling. No problem. Stay clear unless you want to be up charged, misdiagnosed, and you and your dog uncomfortable.

Fantastic experience: You could not ask for a better group of people to take care of your four legged family member. From the moment you walk in the door both you are your pet are treated with nothing but respect and kindness. Reconsider them to everyone we know.

Fantastic experience: In the middle of the night, my dog and I went into the back yard and even though it's fenced in, there was a big raccoon back there. She quickly cornered him, he ended up on her head and bit her. She needed stiches and because we were new to the area, we hadn't established a veterinary for all of our pets yet. Every vet office in the area and even some out of our area, none had a spot open. This was the only veterinarian office in the area who made time to see her the next day. They stitched her up and they were very kind, compassionate, understanding and the price more than reasonable. Your office is a little out of the way for us but we will definitely come back in the future with one (or more) of our furry companions. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Wow. What a great experience. From the greeting at the cat entrance when I walked in, to the door being held open when we left, wonderful service. Everyone was professional and kind. My kitty can be…feisty? And they were able to touch her and pick her up with no problem. I haven’t taken her to the vet in years because of our last experience and this was such a relief. I’m not scared to take her anymore ❤️ Pricing was fair and we didn’t have to wait more than 2 minutes throughout the whole appointment. Clean, welcoming and I witnessed the staff being loving with other fur babies, as well ❤️ Thank you for taking care of my girl ❤️

Fantastic experience: This vet’s office and staff are wonderful! They are clean, organized professionals that truly care about what they do! From separate cat/dog entrances and exams rooms, to follow up calls after vaccine appts, to the love they give my puppy each time we come in, to the care they provide for our baby boy at every appointment. I have had several dogs in the past and seen several vet offices and I must say they are the best. The front Office and the Vet Tech (Izzy) were awesome. They have her same values and care for all the animals with the same love and respect. I can say that I have never had a poor experience at the office . Fantastic experience: Nobody wants their first visit to a new vet to be for the last time. Unfortunately, that’s what happened. It was an emergency. Cornerstone practice went above and beyond when it came to saying goodbye to my best friend for the last time. I’ve had to say goodbye to several dogs in my lifetime and it’s heartbreaking. It’s been many months and I now have a new angel to love. I knew exactly where I wanted her to be taken care of! Our first of many adventures starts 10/18 for her 2nd round of vaccines.

Fantastic experience: I found this vet by accident. My dog tore his CCL and the traveling surgeon used her office to do surgeries out of. From my very first interaction with them I was completely comfortable. The staff is so friendly and the Dr is calm and professional. This was during COVID, so unfortunately I was not able to go in with my dog. But the Dr. spent so much time talking to me on the phone. More than any other vet I have ever used in the past. My dog is now 1 year post op from his surgery and I am still using Cornerstone. Thank you to everyone at Cornerstone who go above an beyond to help our babies. Your caring and professional manner goes a LONG way.

Fantastic experience: I had to bring my dog in last minute because he got sick while I was traveling, and they were able to make time for me that day! She took her time with him and prescribed medication, he’s feeling better already. Highly recommend this vet.

Fantastic experience: After several years of misdiagnosis and outlandish bills at a "corporate" vet, we decided to take our fur babies there, starting with our old guy. The people there are very friendly, and the doctor really seems genuine and caring. She took the time to explain everything and the next steps. And the bill was half of what the other vet charged, and my old guy didn't have to sit in a metal cage for hours. We will be back, and our other 2 fur babies will be making a trip there soon.

Negative experience: My dog was misdiagnosed and now she is no longer with us. A few years ago my dog had surgery here and a few days after surgery she developed this weird breathing/cough that she never had before. I brought her in and the vet took x-rays and blood work and told me that she probably had a collapsing trachea. She was put on medications and sent home. These medications didn't help her cough, but I was told to continue them. Initially my dog's cough and shortness of breath only came on during strenuous activity like going for a walk or playing with the other dogs. Over time my dog's breathing just got progressively worse and she was struggling to breathe 24/7. I continued the meds per doctor's orders. I brought my dog in multiple times over the years when she was having really bad breathing/coughing fits that kept her up all night long. Each visit they took x-rays and blood work and after $600 each time, they still told me it was the collapsing trachea and to continue the meds (which weren't working). This weekend my baby had a flare-up so bad after her morning walk that she was panting excessively and becoming cyanotic. I rushed her to the ER where they took x-rays and blood work and quickly determined that she did NOT have a collapsing trachea (I saw the X-ray). My baby's heart was enlarged (which compressed the trachea) and her lungs were filled with fluid. She was diagnosed with LATE STAGE congestive heart failure. My baby had to be put down shortly after we arrived. My last memory of her is her blue in the face and suffocating as she was put to sleep in my arms. If she was diagnosed correctly in the first place this could have been caught in the earlier stages and given the appropriate medication so she may have had a fighting chance. She was the sweetest dog and didn't deserve all of this pain and suffering. If your baby has any complex medical problem I would go somewhere else to avoid being misdiagnosed and spending a lot of time and money treating a condition your dog doesn't even have.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Cornerstone Veterinary Center- I am VERY happy with their service. The staff is exceptionally friendly and took great care of my sweet kitty. They are now my permanent veterinary! Kudos!

Fantastic experience: I was referred here by my own vet Lake Jessup Animal Hospital when one of our cats needed to be seen about 2 months ago. They were unable to see her and referred us here. Cornerstone was so wonderful about getting us in quickly, took the best care of her; even including follow-up phone calls. Because of the great care they took of Blondie, I knew exactly who to call when MJ needed an urgent visit. I can't say enough good things about them.

Fantastic experience: I took my beagle, Sophie, here for the first time for her annual vaccinations and check up. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Their prices are very fair and affordable. They approved my online prescription request quickly and without issues. I will be back with my other dog when she is due and referring all my clients here!

The staff is compassionate, knowledgeable, and accommodates specific needs. Her love for veterinary medicine manifests through her remarkable work. Even through the madness of COVID-19, the staff has managed to provide personal services with appropriate precautions to ensure a safe and comfortable environment. Fantastic experience: Our cat was extremely sick with a kidney issue and our normal veterinarian didn’t have room on the schedule so we called Cornerstone. Everyone there was very nice and caring and they brought her back to full health! Each time we made an appointment after they were always flexible. Even if they were booked for the day, they would squeeze us in to make sure our cat was doing well. Cornerstone will now be my primary veterinarian office.

Fantastic experience: This was our first time going to Corner Stone. We were referred by Lake Jessup animal hospital. I could not be more pleased!!! The receptionist was wonderful, warm, friendly and Kind. The Vet tech was amazing. He explained things thouroughly and made you feel very comfortable and at ease. You could tell he loved animals and his job. I talked to the Veterinarian on the phone. And also so welcoming and and sweet. They did an Excellent job with taking care of our Ginger.
