Fantastic experience: Dr. McAdams was fantastic with my dog!!! The clinic was a bit behind in appointments yesterday due to a poor doggy having a life threatening emergency but the staff was so attentive and apologetic as this was very unlike their usual flow, which is prompt. Dr McAdams showed patience and kindness with my dog and we collaborated in the best treatment plan for him. The office and doctors are amazing!!!l

Negative experience: horrible service form the vets and no communication from the office. a huge double negative.... spent much money on our pet with no diagnosis. totally ridiculous. they are not customer focused one bit and I will recommend to all my friends/associates never to use them for their pets. I wouldn't never take any pet of mine there again. Don't go there! the worst I've seen in the area and I have been living here for more than 25 years.

Fantastic experience: I had a phenomenal experience bringing my French bulldog puppy to Tuscawilla Animal Hospital today. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I had the pleasure of being cared for by Dr. Leo, who was extremely compassionate and informative. He has a wonderful way with both people and animals, making me feel completely at ease about my puppy Peyton's care. I’m so grateful to Leo and Tuscawilla Animal Hospital for taking such great care of my Charlie girl and now my little Peyton. Today's visit was one of the best experiences I've had at a vet's office.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Monica saw our 18 year old kitty because of the need for ongoing care for Kidney Disease. She gave a very thorough exam and discovered that our kitty had a tooth that was covered in tartar. After showing me a photo of his tooth I took her advice to move forward with a dental cleaning. Of course, I was worried about the procedure on an older kitty, however Dr Monica made me feel confident that she was capable and concerned for my pets care. The procedure went well and Dr Monica was very communicative before and after the procedure. I was a relief when she called me herself to tell me everything went well. Dr Monica took her time answering all of my questions when I picked my kitty up. She is a very knowledgable Dr and really cares about the patients in her care as well as the owners. I am very thankful to her for her recommendations as my kitty appears to be experiencing tremendous relief. Without Dr Monica's thorough examination I would not have known that he needed attention on his back tooth. Thank you Dr Monica.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Suero is a miracle worker! He is the best! My 13 year old dog couldn't use his back legs. Shorty was the love of my life. He was my knight in shining armor, my protector. Dr. Suero and his clinic cared for him like he was their own. He wouldn't give up. Finally Shorty regained about 80% of his mobility. I could finally take him back home. I had 9 more months with my love. We had to recently put him down. But thanks to Dr. Suero I had time to prepare for the loss of my best friend. Thank you Tuscawilla Animal Clinic. You Rock!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Had to bring in my fur baby for what I thought was a UTI. He ended up having a urinary blockage. The doctors and techs reacted quickly and got him into surgery quickly. He is now recovering very well. Thank you TAH for taking care of Bucky. No other animal hospital comes even close to the respect and care they give to every animal that comes through their doors. Negative experience: UPDATE: After our review, the owner, Dr. Suero, contacted us and offered a free exam and lab work. He was very apologetic and agreed with my concerns. His response to this review that I am exaggerating is definitely surprising given how apologetic he was and admitted to his staff being in the wrong. Ultimately, it has now been 3 weeks since our first visit, and our dog is STILL limping. Please do your research and take your pets elsewhere. PLEASE BEWARE, this is absolutely the WORST experience we have ever had with a clinic. I wish I would have read their yelp reviews before, absolutely AWFUL and confirms the horrible experience we had. We brought our husky in for his annual vaccines and exam. He received four different vaccines, which we did not think much of. He came home and refused to eat, could barely walk, would not go potty or drink water. We took him back in the next day and they charged us another exam visit (doctor only saw him for 5min) and gave him fluids (cost us $150+). That was Thursday. Today is Saturday and our dog CANNOT move, he cannot get up to walk, refuses to eat. I called the receptionist, Brittany (who was rude and clearly has never worked customer service), at 11am to try to get him in, and her response was "well we close at 12 so you need to take him to the emergency clinic." These people absolutely do NOT care about the wellbeing of your dog, it's strictly a 9-5 business, with no remorse for an animal, the only thing they care about is getting paid and being out of work on time. Our dog was perfectly healthy before bringing him in here. Please DO NOT take your pets here.

Fantastic experience: They are sensitive to the animals’ needs as well as their human family. Simple things like I have problems putting the rabies tags on. They have pliers and will do it for me. The medical and support staff are knowledgeable and professional.

Fantastic experience: They did a great job thus far. We were able to squeeze our dog Cooper in last minute on a Friday. His eyes were not doing great, they took him in, got him all up to date on his shots (which I had been wanting to do), and took care of his eyes. Then they called the next morning to let me know he had hookworm, and had a script ready for him. They have been on the ball! Also, I noticed as far as pricing they were aggressively priced. So nothing but good things to say about this vet place!

Positive experience: Seems like every time we go to this vet, we should be prepared for sticker shock.. Dental cleaning for two dogs just cost us about $800. We will need to explore other options.

Fantastic experience: We took our Goldendoodle Beauregard in for a grooming accident behind his ear. Office was able to get Beau in on same day appointment. The vet was reassuring and treated the wound with care. It's only been less than a week and it's already scabbed and healing. I'm so thankful for the excellent medical care ❤. Beau is happy and I was able to groom him this week( without incident).Thank you!

Negative experience: I had a disappointing experience with this veterinary service. Despite wanting a second opinion from our friend who is a veterinarian, the office staff was rude and refused to transfer my dog's information without the owner's sign-off. It left me questioning their commitment to the well-being of my animals. We have spent over 1000.00 at this point and our pet has not been properly treated and is suffering.

Fantastic experience: I only visited twice, but I had a positive experience each time. I have a cat, first time I visited it was for the yearly shots, 2nd time it was grooming. Excellent experience so far.

Fantastic experience: Our GSD had a cyst which doubled in size in 24hrs and ruptured. It was deep, and so I called the office and Courtney told me to bring him right over. Dr. McAdams got the area cleaned up and clipped his fur, and will remove the remainder on Friday. I'm thankful for them being available for us!

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been coming to Tuskawilla Animal Hospital for over 23 years now. They have taken care of everyone of our pets from ones born under our shed to pets we purchased to our precious rescue babies. They aren’t just our vets and staff there’re our family. We’ve been thru a lot together, celebrating successful treatments and crying over losses. We have always gotten the best care for our fur babies. I couldn’t ask for a better extended family.

He’s a very big, very sensitive guy and everyone has taken the very Best care of him weather he’s getting a bath, shots or nails trimmed (which I can’t do) they take their time and are very patient. Fantastic experience: We always receive the best care for our pup, Jax, at Tuscawilla Animal Hospital. We’ve never had to wait to be seen and they’re always quick to get him in for an urgent visit. Sadly, this was not the case at his first vet. We adopted him as a very sick pup, so Jax has needed some extra love and care. From the moment we arrive, the staff is sweet and kind, and always makes Jax feel comfortable. Dr Chimienti is compassionate and gentle, as our pup can be nervous during his visits. Fantastic experience: Always the best care for our pups. Miss Heidi is awesome! Our baby gives her a lot of trouble grooming but she keeps trying and doing a great job. The vets are always the best and also boarding is very trustworthy. Even though we moved, we still come back for their services.

Fantastic experience: These folks are great! we have been bringing our older bulldog to them for quite some time, he has been experiencing seizures and other complications and these folks got him fixed up to enjoy his time left. we added a new baby bulldog to the family with no hesitation of bring her to the folks to take care of her.

Fantastic experience: We just took our very special boy here after coming from another vet who didn’t give us any kind of good feelings or service. We have an 11 year old tabby who was diagnosed with diabetes and we wanted to see a vet who cares. This place is it. The ladies at the front desk were so very nice and welcoming and kind. The vet tech and vet were just amazing. I had a million questions and they spent the time answering all of them. We finally found a forever place to take our babies.

Fantastic experience: I am so very impressed with the welcoming professional and quality of care behavior I experienced at Tuscawilla Animal Hospital. I have used a different vet for over ten years - but his independent practice was bought out by a national veterinary conglomerate that now dictates all their policies. So when I called them to see my terrier dog who was behaving as if he has an ear infection and also drinking excessive amounts of water and peeing ten times more often - I was dismayed when they said they could see him in a week because there were no appointments available before that. For ten years I have faithfully used that clinic even after I moved and had to drive 45 minutes to get there and this was not how I expected to be treated. I saw the Tuscawilla Animal Hospital as I was driving by in the area I now live and decided I would "drop in" and ask if they had time to see my dog. They immediately agreed to squeeze me in between appointments. They were kind and patient and professional and I left with the treatments required to make my dog well. And they did this without an appointment. They are privately owned and operated and make their own decisions. I've learned something over my lifetime regarding veterinary practices. Any vet can provide "well dog care" - schedule the pet for their routine heart worm tests, provide flea and tick medicine and rabies and other required vaccines. The true test of a vet and their practice is how they respond when your pet is sick. Do they feel the same urgency as you do to make them better and do they have the knowledge and skill to do so. I feel as if I have found a new partner to depend on with regard to my dogs care and I look forward to a long relationship with this veterinary practice. Updating as of 6-30-2022 Once again the staff at Tuskawilla Animal Hospital exceeded all my expectations in taking care of my dog. They were responsive and provided excellent follow-up communication. Updating as of Nov 2023 My terrier was behaving strangely in the way he walked, held his body, didn’t want to be touched. He was eating and drinking and peeing and pooing normally. But he was a big sad sack. I feared something brewing. Years ago my dog had a ruptured secum (like an appendix) and needed surgery and this time with this dog the initial symptoms seemed the same. I was once a again brought right in to see the vet. Thankfully it was nothing severe, inflammation in his stomach and hip, and he was treated with anti inflammatory and sent home with some mild pain medication. They treat with care and compassion and always make time.

Fantastic experience: Update 11/29/23-had an appt yesterday and thought I would do a follow up post! I continue to be impressed with the team at TAH and am so thankful I discovered them. I have added 2 more fur babies to the family when they were each only 1 lb, and they have been under the constant care of Dr Chimenti and his team. I always feel comfortable and welcome there, and it is always a pleasure to visit them for routine care. We have had (too) many visits of injuries and wounds, where visits were less pleasant...but I've always left with that same warm feeling of care and compassion. The best thing I ever did for my new kitties (and my own anxiety) was to take them to Tuscawilla Animal Hospital! The entire office is clean and I have never once witnessed any unpleasant smells or accidents, and we have been there tons of times! When I adopted my cats from a shelter they came with a laundry list of issues, at least the older one did. Dr Chimenti is amazing and showed genuine compassion towards us, but the response I have received from the entire team has been wonderfully overwhelming. When I call with a problem they are immediate to help or get us in. I have always felt like they instantly treated us as family and were determined to solve the behavior issues as well as physical ones. I could not speak any higher of Tuscawilla Animal Hospital and the entire team. A very well oiled machine!

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of visiting the clinic for the first time, and it was such a warm and inviting experience. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they made Lady Roxy feel comfortable. They even extended their friendliness to Grifo, who wasn't even being seen. Dr. V. Chimeinti was outstanding, displaying incredible patience with Lady Roxy and her issues, all while answering our questions with care. Dr. V. Chimeinti also provided a solution for Lady's allergy. The front desk staff were equally welcoming, contributing to an overall fantastic experience.

Fantastic experience: My family and I have had wonderful experiences every-time we have visited this clinic. Wether our animals were experiencing an emergency or planned wellness visit, the office staff and Veterinarian were welcoming, informative and patient. Most importantly, you can tell how much they care about helping your pet! During our recent emergency visit, we saw Dr. Braxton McAdams for the first time. His demeanor and knowledge immediately put us at ease, and we left feeling empowered in the plan for our animals continued well-being.

Fantastic experience: We love Tuskawilla Animal Hospital. They are always available when I can come. I work and take care of a disabled husband, so being able to come after work is so awesome! The doctor is wonderful, even though my Leroy tries to bite him every time. He is very thorough and very knowledgeable. Can’t say enough good things!

Fantastic experience: Tuscawilla Animal Hospital is a great place to take care of your pets. Dr. Suero and Dr Chimeinti treat your pet as if it was their own, my dog MAX is a 140 lb doberman that loves them because they definitely love him back. Not that is a pleasure to take your pet to the vet, but this guys make it a lot easier when you've got to do it.......

Not only were they able to get me in right away, the staff was super kind & friendly! The visit was quick, and I could tell my dog was in good hands, regardless of the fight she put up with the vet...lol My girl is on the road to recovery, and I will be back again with my cat!

Negative experience: I took my dog for grooming and before they asked me if I have copy of rabies shot and I told them to call the vet and they agreed Once I wanted to pick my dog they said the gave him two other vaccines without our consent and charged us another $70. That’s NOT righ.

Negative experience: I WILL NOT BE COMING HERE ANYLONGER AND IT IS SAD. GO ELSEWHERE. Tuskawilla Animal Hospital may be good at what they do, but they DO NOT have good judgment. They had a vet tech who was extremely knowledgeable, very compassionate, totally reliable, who took great care of the animals as if they were her own. Well recently they let her go, there was no reason, it was very cold. She really loved working there and she was very well trusted. She did an excellent job and was always willing to learn new things to improve on what she already knew. She always had a great big smile, very welcoming and was incredibly friendly to everyone. She was also very honest which is important to me as well as going the extra mile. I knew my pet was in good hands with her. THEREFORE, I will not be using this vet anylonger. By the way, this is not her loss as much as it theres, she is a real gem and whoever has her next will be very lucky to have her working for their practice  and I can gurantee that. She really is the best and I can't stress that enough! I have pictures and videos but there is no button to let me post them. She is so sweet!

Negative experience: You know what’s strange about Google reviews? You can’t rate 0 out of 5. I just learned that today because in the 14 years I have been using Google, I’ve never had such a bad experience. When I first brought my cats to this location, I was not told pricing up front, I had been quoted 140, but after a 30 second “exam”, and flea and tick prevention thing, I was charged an extra 160 dollars for a total of about 300 dollars. I wasn’t told until they were charging me to leave what the cost would be. After I called back and complained, they agreed to give me a discount on spaying the cat. Initially they charge 250 for spaying and they discounted me 65. I just finished dealing with that and was expecting to be charged about 185. I wasn’t thrilled about it, but what really shocked me was when, after getting through with the procedure, they charged me 370 after applying the discount. They apparently did a blood test on her that added an extra 55 dollars. I don’t even know how the rest was added. They were completely hiding prices, insisting on additional add ons like used car sales reps, and even used an old method of spaying that resulted in her having to wear a cone around her neck for two weeks while she waits for sutures to heal.

Fantastic experience: The doctors and staff were very compassionate and understanding as I needed to euthanize one of beloved pets. I so appreciate their kindness and making a difficult situation as easy as possible.

Fantastic experience: Me and my Wife are so great full for this place, my dog Bella wasn’t acting like her self for a few days. We called TAH early on Monday morning and right away they said bring Bella in and within 2hrs they called me and asked me to come in to inform me about the situation. I left work and bolted to TAH expecting the worst. When I arrived they explained to me the severity of the situation and I broke down in tears keep in mind Bella is 12 yrs old (a senior). Bella had a infection in her uterus and would require surgery but because of her age and the severity it was a possibility that she would not make it through and we all know what the alternative choice would of been, but that wasn’t an option so they performed surgery within minutes of me giving them the okay. I knew she was tuff and was going to fight like hell. After they were done they informed me surgery was a success kept her there for 2 days and took very good care of her. When I arrived to pick up Bella and saw her face I knew my old girl was back and I knew the right choice was made not only to do the surgery but also picking TAH as the best place to save Bella. She is now at home recovering with lots of love and I’m sure she will make a speedy recovery cause it isn’t her time to go just yet. You guys have a customer for life! Fantastic experience: A groomer cut my dog's leg and they were able to get him in right away. The doctor was waiting there for me and I didn't have to wait at all. They seemed caring and compassionate and took good care of my pup.

Fantastic experience: They have offered knowledgeable and compassionate care with several of our dogs who weren't always the most cooperative. I'm glad that we chose them as the medical caretakers for our dogs.

Fantastic experience: I called Tuskawilla Animal Hospital for an emergency with my cat Sylvester on a week day and was told to come right in to be seen. Dr. Chimienti did his thorough examination then recommended blood work and ex- rays. After reviewing the diagnostics, subcutaneous fluids and injection treatments later with medications to go home; saved my fur baby to bring his spirit back to playing again. I highly recommend Tuskawilla Animal Hospital for all your fur babies. They were very professional, caring , and compassionate to help my Sylvester get back to normal from being sick. I couldn’t be more happy with the outcome and loving care I got from both the doctors, Dr. Suero and Dr. Chimienti.
