Dr. A was very kind and gave us 2 prescription’s and we scheduled a 10 day recheck. she seemed better but still favoring her front leg so we decided to extend the medication longer. Hailey, our tech,was very sweet and very gentle with our girl and Dr A was very reassuring that the meds would resolve her issue. Thank you Hailey and Dr. A.

Experiencia negativa: ⸻ Yesterday I had my dog groomed by Samantha. I absolutely loved the way he smelled afterward — she did a great job with that. However, I was very disappointed with the haircut itself. It was not what I asked for. I specifically requested that his goatee be trimmed, not completely cut off. I also asked to leave the hair on top of his head longer so it would fall down like a mullet style. Unfortunately, both requests were ignored, and his goatee was shaved off entirely. I was also told over the phone that the grooming would cost between $58 and $72. I was charged $72 and it was rung up as a “long-haired Chihuahua,” but my dog is a mixed breed and his hair was not long to begin with. That was frustrating, especially since the final result wasn’t what I asked for. I appreciate how clean and fresh he smelled, but overall I’m disappointed with the cut and the pricing.

We had a rescue dachshund named Sydney. Her time came she has since passed Forever Vets always took Great care of her that the time I believe it was called Baymeadows Vets Owned By Dr G the kindest vet I've ever met . Now he has a lot of locations Forever Vets. And he has put together the greatest staff of people working at all the Forever Vets. We now have another Dachshund for the last 4 years Forever Vets is the only place we will ever go. And Me being from Brooklyn NY. That says a lot And My wonderful wife being From Texas feels the same way Anybody ever needs a vet that's the place If anyone ever ask either of of us The place to go. Vet Tech Lisa is great with her and our dobie loves seeing her. I wouldn’t take our baby anywhere else.

Experiencia negativa: Staff was super nice, but felt pushed and coerced into signing up for their “wellness plan”. It’s an 12 month contract but was told it was month to month, gross and unfriendly business practice. The discount is laughable too. Called in and cancelled immediately after reading the terms that were hidden from me at the office. After saying no to flea and tick preventative I already had from somewhere else was told, by Dr Aishwarya Pednekar, that isn’t good enough and it was tacked on my bill at the end. Service was the slowest I’ve ever seen and we were the only ones in the building getting treatment from what I could see. Listen to other reviews, they say they want to help your “fur baby” and play on your emotions but just want you to sign on the dotted line and help themselves to your wallet. Go elsewhere!

Unfortunately this time I lost my Hondita, my beautiful fur baby, but they gave him the best treatment and went beyond what I could have ever asked for. They really do care and really work hard for our fur babies even if we can't see it. I am thankful for them and will continue to come back for my other fur babies I still have.

Experiencia negativa: I am from out of town and my dog wasn’t acting normal. I called and was told it would be $101 to examine my dog. I agreed to that amount.They took my dog back and said they need a $700 deposit that would be credited back to me and the doctor would come discuss his findings from the exam.They proceeded to take x-rays and do a ultrasound without talking to me about my approval to do anything beyond the initial exam.They ended up charging me over $750 to put my dog down. I was taken advantage of .The doctor knew by the examination that my dog wasn’t going to live.He even said that he couldn’t tell from the x-rays and ultrasound what the exact issue was was .And that he would have to do exploratory surgery to know for sure. This facility took advantage of of me because I am from out of town and emotionally vulnerable because my pet is going to die.Very very bad business practices. I hope that if anyone has a pet emergency,they choose a better place than Forever Vets.

They always do a great job with my two dogs and our vet tech Haylee is always very nice and quick. I also recommend the month vet plan for your pets!

Yesterday I had an emergency with my cat and I was able to schedule an appointment for the same day, and the staff was so helpful, specially Hailey Polgano, she was so amazing and understanding. They also know my fur children by name when we come in the door. Reina developed a serious health issue and Dr. Christian knew exactly what it was and started to treat her immediately, she’s had her ups and downs during the process but I feel like any other vet wouldn’t have caught it as quickly as they did, and she is doing better every day! If your pet develops IMHA go see them! They are amazing, Reina is doing so well and her levels are almost 100% better, it’s a long haul but they were helpful the entire process through and made sure I was educated on the condition. We can’t thank yall enough, we wouldn’t know what to do without Forever Vets and we will always be grateful for the amazing care we always get!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been coming to this location for a little over a year now. I have had nothing but exceptional service every time I have an appointment. Miss Hailey was wonderful, probably the best vet technician i have had. From the begining, she ran through what exactly what was going to be done, as well as the pricing for everything. She even recommended other avenues to aquire medication if needed. They don't pressure you into buying unneeded services for your fur babies either. Yesterday was one of the best vet visits I've had, even though I waited a bit longer than usual. The parking lot was full when I came in, and empty when I left. No more than an hour.

Experiencia fantástica: My youngest cat was seriously hurt one morning and they were able to see us right away. Unfortunately her injuries were pretty severe and she needed to have her leg amputated. She is a few weeks post op and she is doing so well! They are able to see her a week after and they said she was doing really well.I really appreciate everything they've done for her.And how they treated her while we were there. We also have several other pets that have been through forever.That's care when they had spays and neutering. They always do a fantastic job.And the prices are really reasonable.I will never go anywhere else.

Not only is her bedside manner the best and how all caregivers should be but her personalized care is greatly appreciated and worth every penny. The supportive staff is also great and treat my little boo like family. I’m more holistic with my health and pet’s health and this is respected at this location. I’m very apprehensive with chains but love this location. 11/1/25 update normally I have great care and attention however today not so much. My request for this appointment as a follow up for Murphy’s eyes and, also,his tail swollen back end that is a chronic issue. His tail and back end were not addressed we were left in the room for 20 min and told we “forgotten” which normally doesn’t happen. Then we waiting another 20 min for the script and instructions for how to obtain since not available at facility. I pay monthly fee and very disappointed on how this visit was managed esp needing to have my dog’s eye removed is very difficult to manage emotionally and financially. I am skeptical about big pharma and now “big vet” and appreciate other visits that attempt to help but this one was really troubling visit. Since we are stuck in this awful system of forced vaccines and the terrible side effects the best we can hope for is great customer service and yesterday was void of the latter.

Experiencia negativa: You need only to look at employee reviews to see how this company is run and indicative of overcharging for services and products. I spent over $10,000 at this location and was dismissed by the practice manager after a tech told me that they thought my dog Had cancer. My dog did not have cancer but instead presented with what he has been presenting over the last 10 months of using this clinic. So almost $1400 later it was the same digestive problem he’s had before. They ordered a full blood panel and x-rays like they did every time I went in there presenting with the same problem. If you want a clinic That runs test after test on your pet Presenting with the same symptoms, then these vets are for you.

Experiencia negativa: We went to Forever Vets Baymeadows with our sick pup and were consistently disappointed with the level of care. Every visit felt rushed and impersonal. We would go over our concerns with a vet tech, our dog would be taken to the back, and then the vet would only come in for a few minutes. We never felt included in the process or that our concerns were truly heard. On top of that, we constantly felt nickel-and-dimed with extra charges that didn’t always feel necessary or clearly explained. It left us questioning whether their priority was our pet’s health or the bill. We eventually left for a second opinion at San Juan Animal Hospital, where the vet examined our pup in front of us, explained everything clearly, and treated both us and our dog with real compassion. The contrast was night and day. Unfortunately, Forever Vets felt more like a business than a place that genuinely cared about our pet.

My kitties are always scared (expected), but the techs and doctors are so gentle with them. Had a scare a few months ago when I thought one of my babies swallowed something, but Forever Vets did tests, told me all my options, and their recommendations. My baby was fine. Whew!

Came out to the car and examined both pups. Talk about curbside service! We were on our way with meds in less than an hour. We’ll be back!

Experiencia negativa: This place used to be amazing a couple years ago when they had Dr. Bishop. Now it’s all about money, all they do is raise their prices, the vets don’t even examine animals well. Just prescribe stuff at alarming costs to make more money and ask to see your pets again soon so you can pay a ridiculous visit fee again. Won’t be taking my animals here anymore. Very sad what it’s become. Only reason im giving it two stars is because the front desk people are always amazing. Shoutout to them lol

Experiencia fantástica: I was able to get a same day appointment for my cat. That was great, because I don’t like to wait when I think my animals aren’t feeling well. The receptionist, vet tech and doctor were all very nice. The appointment didn’t take long at all. I was very pleased with the services and will use them again in the future, if needed.

Experiencia positiva: We had our first visit at this veterinary clinic and overall, it was a great experience. The staff was very patient, took their time, and were incredibly thorough with our dogs. You can tell they really care. The only downside was that the visit took longer than expected, which made our dogs a bit more anxious—but to be fair, it was our first time, so that may have contributed. We appreciated the detailed attention and care they gave.

Experiencia fantástica: Forever Vets is the only vet we’ve had since we adopted our rescue dogs, Thor and Loki. We’ve received quality care, with thoughtful attention to details. It’s not to say that within 5 years there haven’t been hiccups. For example, our wellness plan increased from $50 per month, per dog, to $65 without notice last year. Our wellness plan covered their rabies vaccination and tags until 2025 when received an invoice and we’re informed it’s not actually covered. No email, no letter, just a bill from the city. The staff has had high turnover. It felt like every 6 months there was new people to include the Veterinarians. Although that seems to be minuscule, it’s comforting to know the staff and Doctors that are treating your pets. Additionally, our dogs would often get sick after being in the facility for dental cleaning. Frankly, we don’t know if it’s from interaction with staff or lack of cleanliness of the kennel they were in. All of that aside, I’m pleased to see the staff has had minimal turnover recently. Our Techs and Veterinarian recognized us immediately and remembered our boys. The most recent Tech, Katrina was phenomenal. Extremely thoughtful, thorough, and welcoming. During our boys shots, they snuggled up to her and wagged their tail. Our dogs are high anxiety, nervous Nelly’s. To be at ease during their shots with someone they don’t know, speaks volumes. Initially I was saddened by Kailin leaving, but Katrina and Ve’ are Rockstars! This location of Forever Vets has had its ups and downs. But I see tremendous attempts to improve to include renovating and more attention to detail. Respectfully, the billing side is awful and no changes there. But the actual location is great! Over the years they’ve gone from being a 3 star at best, to a 5 star establishment. If we could get their rates and billing department aligned, that would be perfect!

Experiencia fantástica: You guys are fantastic! Always so sweet with my fur baby. I needed a distemper shot for my pupper today in order to board him this weekend, and you got me in to see the vet in less than thirty minutes!

Experiencia negativa: This is not a good place to take your pet! It all started on a Monday when I took my pet because she was having problems with her urine. After urine tests, they informed me that she had a UTI and for which they prescribed Clavadamox. They prepared two bottles for me, without taking into account the size of my pet (I had to throw away half a bottle since it was over 10 days old). On Wednesday, I needed to take her again because she was showing blood in her urine, so they performed another urine test, x-rays, and a blood test. The new diagnosis was kidney stones, for which they prescribed more antibiotics and a special food, and the treatment consisted of 4 to 6 weeks. They scheduled a check-up appointment for me in week 2, to which on two different occasions (once by phone and once in person) I told them that it didn't make sense when the treatment was for 4 weeks. When the appointment date arrived, they wanted to perform a urine test and another x-ray in two weeks, which I refused since it was not what we had initially discussed with the doctor (The doctor acknowledged that the appointment was unnecessary). After an hour wasted in the establishment, I left and asked them to please approve the order for more medicine and food that I was going to place through Chewy, to which they said it was fine. On June 25th, I placed the order for both the food and the medicine. For the food, I had to call and request a prescription. Their first solution was to tell me that, according to them, it was more convenient for me to buy it there. They only approved the medicine today, June 30th, and it was only because Chewy called them directly and I was waiting on the other line. In total I bought 4 bottles of Clavamox ($58.47 each) Chewy sells it for ($33.78). I understand that it is a store and that the prices may be higher but it is almost $25 difference per bottle and the worst thing is that they never wanted to give me any credit for the half bottle that I had to throw away so they prepared two with a 10 day window for use. At this point I don't even want to imagine how much extra they charged for the exams and x-rays.

Experiencia fantástica: Today is my boxers 10th birthday. Her name is Coco Chanel. This was also the 1st time we've been to this vet's office and I was hooked immediately. The lady I talked to on the phone yesterday was so extremely sweet and kind and she remembered us when we came in today. Andrew, the vet nurse that came in and checked Coco out was super wonderful and Coco really liked him. We are taking her back next week to have some tests run on her and I'm positive she'll be excited to be back there. She's a boxer so she's always been a people person, but as she's gotten older she doesn't run up to people and lick them to death anymore, she's actually a little shy at 1st which is so different from how she's been her whole life. If anyone has a boxer you know what I'm talking about. I have no doubt they will take the absolute best care of my Coco Chanel and my little kitty princess, Rogue. She'll be having a visit soon too.

Experiencia negativa: So this place has constantly lied we had a free visit it was our first time going here and they ended up having to do emergency surgery so they said we had to bring our dog to this facility they charged us 3,000 dollars they continue to make up charges to try to get more money first it was the bloodwork that was 207 they only took off 121 of it then they made up a charge saying the visit wasn’t free now now that 70.00 so they are at this point just making things up I paid what we agreed on I will not pay anymore your not gonna make up more things I did the right thing my kid paid for what y’all agreed and now you want more nope y’all better do the right thing and stop playing y’all rather kill animals then help them at a time of need they see you cry and freak out come in there and say we need thousands of dollars to save your dog or we can kill it for 300 like what this place has really pissed me off I have a huge family stay tuned for more you might need to sell your car or house to get surgery done here they will make things up and charge you beware most good reviews on here are from the boarding part not the vet pet read the low reviews you’ll see there plenty saying the same as me and my daughter

Experiencia fantástica: Forever Pets is accommodating and they explain your pet’s situation. I have a 10 week old puppy and she was scratching at ears and there was a smell coming from within her ears. I made an appointment and turns out she has a double ear infection. They treated her for the ear infection, gave medicine and we have a 2 week follow up. I would recommend Forever Pets they are friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating.

Experiencia fantástica: We’ve seen multiple vets and techs over the few years we’ve been coming here and each one has been fantastic! Very professional and friendly staff, nice facility, and reasonable prices. They’ve cared for our yorkie and greyhound’s various issues splendidly.

Experiencia negativa: Just had my worst and last experience with this practice. A tech who was clearly new attempted to sell me a wellness package that she didn’t explain clearly. The more she talked, the less she made sense. I asked for clarification and it just got worse. So I said please just give me the total for an office visit, rabies shot, other vaccines, one month of Simparica, and a heartworm test. Tech gives me a breakdown and says it’s $457. I’ve had dogs for many years and even with inflation, this price is obscene. I questioned it and the tech tried to refer back to the wellness plan. At this point, I asked for Dr. Colliasos who has seen my dog before. The tech clearly prepped the vet because she came in a much different demeanor than she usually has. She was quite defensive. She did not appreciate being questioned about why it was so much. She took my questions very personally. She also told me that she wasn’t letting me leave without a rabies vaccine and tried to use scare tactics. At this point, I felt very uncomfortable. After I got up to leave, Dr. Colliasos again made a comment about how she doesn’t decide the prices. I’ve spent thousands of dollars at this place between three different dogs. I left and called another vet who quoted me $180 for the exact same services and got me scheduled first thing tomorrow morning! I called another place, just for fun, and they quoted $210. I was right to walk out! I know when I’m being ripped off!

Experiencia negativa: I have a bulldog, which everyone who knows can’t be stressed out or be in small enclosures, yet every time I have an appointment here we’re waiting for ever to see the doctor with no concern for the stress of the dog, literally, it’s all the time. Their excuse is always the same. We’re busy we’re backed up. The doctor had an emergency, I can see once in a while, but I’ve been coming here for three years and it’s the same thing all the excuses. I’m taking my bulldog somewhere else where they appreciate my time and don’t stress my dog out

Experiencia fantástica: Updated 2025: We have been bringing our pug, Mr. Waffles, here since he was 8 weeks old. No matter what we come in for, you all do such a great job with him. Despite a brief issue in the past, all has been well and today’s visit was exceptional!! Mr. Waffles needed updated vaccines, his nails trimmed, and a spot on his skin checked. I’m amazed to say we were in and out in THIRTY MINUTES!! Not only was it quick, but it also came with exceptional service. i didn’t feel rush whatsoever and the new Doctor made sure we had no other questions before leaving. LOVING the efficiency and quality of care! ❤️

Experiencia negativa: I would be wary of this place. We had been going here for years and it never felt quite right - every time we went, there was always some “additional issue” that we had to pay extra for (meds/surgery), despite us having their in-house insurance. It also always took ABSOLUTELY FOREVER for the vet to see us (despite us being on time for our appointment). I’m talking, we’re there for an hour or more waiting for the vet once we got checked in. The additional star from 1 is for the techs - they were generally very kind and helpful, but the whole place felt like a poorly-oiled machine that just wanted to crank through people to get their money.

They treat every animal as if it were their own, and their love for what they do truly shows. Dr. Collazos is the absolute best — compassionate, knowledgeable, and gentle with my furry son, Simba. He’s the best doctor Simba has ever had, and I completely trust with her care. We always feel welcomed, supported, and well-informed. Thank you, Forever Vet, for taking such amazing care of Simba!

Experiencia negativa: You will be charged hundreds of dollars for services that would cost you $30 somewhere else. You tell me my cat needs special overpriced food. We buy it consistently, and now I need manager approval to continue buying it because you want to waste my time and money on an office visit? So someone can pet my cat for 2 mins and tell me he's fine? Like every other time?? Use to be a business I was proud to go to, now its just like every other business. ONLY care about ripping people off. Do NOT send your pets here.

Experiencia fantástica: My cats are both very happy with services from Forever Vets, at first, I was taking them to the riverside location, but then I moved and now I’ve been receiving even better service from BayMeadows location with great care from Dr Legaspi. I am also going to use their cat Boarding services from their central location. Again, After trying another vet in Jacksonville, Forever vets by far has the best service in town, thank you again to tbe Baymeadows staff & to Dr Legaspi!

Experiencia fantástica: I appreciate the conversations the vets here have with us. It really shows that they care about our pets just as much as we do! We brought our two 80 pound dogs in for an annual visit and to get caught up on vaccinations, but also spoke to us about different options for managing allergies and other conditions our sweet fur babies have. Grateful for their directions and understanding! Even though Macey and Nyla don’t like the vets office, I know they appreciate the sweetness of the office staff! Macey and Nyla give it 4 paws up!

Experiencia fantástica: Was driving through Florida and stopped at a hotel to notice that my Golden Retriever needed immediate medical attention! The hospital was very close to the hotel which was very convenient but more importantly they took us in right away (zero waiting), the staff was very friendly, the doctor was very knowledgeable and presented the best treatment for the lowest price needed and explained the treatment very thoroughly. Overall the best experience I have ever had in an Animal hospital!!!

Experiencia fantástica: we recently moved to jax and hadn’t found a vet yet. my dog had an urgent issue and they were able to get him in that morning within the hour. they were so helpful and explained everything thoroughly. we got meds and my dog is doing much better already! we will definitely be making this our home vet!

I feel overwhelmed taking him to appointments and grooming because of that, so a big big thanks for Daniele for being super sweet and calming me down about the situation, she went through options we could do for Joejoe. Samantha was the person who gave him a bath and trimmed his nails, thank you so very much

Experiencia negativa: We have taken a couple of our dogs there and gotten ripped off by one… then decided to take another dog there only to find out that they were dead wrong with their diagnosis…we kept going back thinking they were right …then we were charged for a test they never did…they wanted to charge us over $400 for an ear infection test that normally is )50-$$99..they never had the doctor come out to talk to us after seeing our dog…he was always so traumatized by his visits we had to stop taking him there…we finally found a vet that knew exactly what our dogs problem was at first sight…and gave us all the meds we needed…our dogs problem is now in so much better condition and OT traumatized by these vets…I would Never recommend these vets to anyone…they are not caring at all and only care about the money…I am glad we finally found real Vet’s who care and can tell what is wrong with our dogs like a Real vet …

Experiencia fantástica: i have the upgraded plan for my kitten, and everyone here is amazing! they always fit you in, are patient & answer all your questions, and you can tell how much everyone really loves/is passionate about their jobs. they treat my baby girl layla so kindly every time i’ve been. she just got spayed, and they went above and beyond to ensure her comfort. definitely recommend this vet location!!

He presented right after adoption with pancreatitis & was diagnosed & treated by Dr. Gallipalli. He recently had a surgery for a bladder stone which was done by Dr. Arishwarna & he came through beautifully. We had his post op appointment this morning & he has recovered extremely well. I appreciate the kindness & warmth shown to Coal by the doctors & technicians at Forever Vets. They are an awesome group of veterinarians & assistants. I love having them taking care of Coal’s needs.

They were very flexible and simply moved his appointment back 15 minutes. Ollie got the treatment he needed and vaccinations in about an hour. Quick and easy!

So reliable and we dealt with them with my last dog/ child who passed and they really helped the grieving process such nice doctors compared to ones in Orange Park who didn’t care of our feelings on our child’s last day on earth.
