EveryPet: Opiniones
Experiencia positiva: 02/27/27-It's been 3 days now since I took my dog to be peacefully and painlessly euthized. He didn't had neither. I now believe that the person who was the vet turn his frustration and anger against me for asking to just give a sedating injection followed by the one to stop his heart (like the Veterinary Dr I had used for 4 of my dogs in the last 6 yrs), he took it on my innocent old, sick and dying dog in the form of excruciating pain which I could see in his eyes, the convultions of his body and the turning of his head while gasping for air. All this while acting like he understood that my main focus was a painless death for my sweet boy. In a way right now I feel it was somewhat sadistic the way he acted. After all even if I'm not a veterinarian, both my dog and I were a client and as such I deserved to be heard and see that my wishes for my dog's last moments alive were met. Instead it was completely the opposite. Please be aware of this "dr" whose name I can't recall because I was very upset or maybe he didn't said it. By his looks I believe him to be from Asia or South Asia. 02/24/2026 The staff was very sympathetic and understanding. Thank you Meghan, Brie, Christy and Ed (couldn't get his name correctly, my fault) for being so kind to an old lady who had to go through putting her last furbaby to "sleep". I'm sorry if I missed anyone else's name. The prices are very reasonable for someone like me on a social security retirement check. However I was not comfortable with having my dying dog be pocked several times on both his front legs to get a vein for a "catheter" (which would be called an iv if he was human) since he was dehydrated after refusing to eat or drink water for almost 3 days and a sedating injection followed by the injection to end his suffering was all it was needed. I could understand if he was having surgery, but in his condition an IV was not needed. This is my fourth time in the last 6 years that I had to have one of my furbabies go through it and none of the previous veterinarians use a "catheter". Eventually he gave my dog a large dose injection of that looked like clorox mixed with water, which made him to go into convultions, shortness of breath and what it looked like extreme pain and desperation before finally stopping. As I said great staff, good prices but for end of life on a dying pet who was already hurting a lot, a catheter was not needed and it could've been more humanely done. Also in retrospect I don't remember the vet using an stethoscope to confirm my dog had passed away believing only my suspicion and the young man's words that indeed my dog was not breathing and even giving another injection supposedly to his heart but this time with a pink solution I'm it which again I never seen in that color. Not what I expected from a veterinarian, a person who's supposed to care, have love and compassion for those who can't speak for themselves and that we humans give them the tittle of animals.
Experiencia fantástica: Apparently someone is on next door saying you do not use sterile equipment when you tnr animals. Just figured you want to know.
Experiencia negativa: READ BEFORE VISITING, From their own website: Intake Process: Call for information Patients needing surgery must have an appointment All cats entering must be in a box, carrier or cage;(For cat safety) Boxes are for sale at the front desk;(Please purchase before bringing the cat in) Good luck getting ahold of someone here, when you do get through to someone be prepared to be given incorrect information. THE ONLY WAY THEY WILL TAKE A TNR COMMUNITY CAT is after you purchase one of their $100 dollar cages, not carriers. They then instructed me to "dump" and force the community cat into the trap as he was unwilling to enter on his own but would allow me to place him in a carrier. This place is cruel and out for profit. Its clear they have a monopoly on JAX and Duval County. Never lived anywhere in my life where the Humane society or city animal services do not offer TNR for community cats. Its a joke do not support this place, spend your money with your local veteranarian and support those who actually care about animals. Just know EVERYPET i'm coming for your funding and you wont be the ONLY TNR SHELTER in JAX for long. Needed something to fill my freetime, thanks for the sidequest this should be rewarding granting the citizens of this county actual access to get community pets the help they need and desereve. Your days of mistreating and being cruel to animals for profit is numbered, enjoy them.
Experiencia fantástica: The vet was extremely knowledgeable about everything affecting our dog. She explained every treatment option and was very kind to all of us, especially the dog!
Experiencia fantástica: Extremely affordable pet care. I have an old contankerous dog & formerly feral cat. They are great with them.
Experiencia fantástica: In a nutshell, this place is the real deal. Wellness /consultation visits here are way less than other area vets charge and if your fur baby has to have a surgical procedure, they give you an estimate of all the fees. These are also very reasonable prices so if you are like me and treat your fur baby’s health like you are wealthy but are actually on a fixed budget, this is the place for you. Dr Kampalli, is top notch. The front desk staff are rockstars, the place is clean and they took good care of my Spirit Moon. I highly recommend Everypet for your fur baby’s veterinary needs.
Experiencia negativa: They are lovely people but the way the schedule appointments is down right offensive. If the appointment is at 1 you should be able to be seen around that time at least. An hour after my appointment time and I'm still waiting to be seen. It's like this Everytime. It's so disrespectful get your scheduling together.
Experiencia positiva: My pet is always treated well here. I just wish the wait to be seen was better scheduled.
Experiencia fantástica: UPDATE: Now Every Pet but still phenomenal! 1st ti.e, I went there for a second opinion and was gifted a phenomenal Veterinarian! Doctor Perez is a blessing. So kind, thoughtful, and thorough. Very honest and no b.s. She saved my Lorenzo so that he could be with me longer. The staff were wonderful, caring and friendly. Anyone with entitled rudeness should not come in. This group of Super Heroes deserve nothing but respect and kindness. If anyone deserves donations for a good cause, this group totally deserves it more than anyone else.
Experiencia positiva: They were really gracious to give me a little food for my kitty. Which was greatly appreciated. But they need to change that rule where you must be on government assistance or food stamps, I have not been eligible for food stamps since 2021. And I have never been eligible for medicaid or cash assistance or anything because I don't have kids. There's always a reward for people with kids. But people without kids, are punished. They're on their own. It's been like that my entire adult life. Even tho I chose not to be a welfare mom. I wanted my kids to have a father and a better life, if I ever did have kids. When I was working, after covid, I tried applying for food stamps multiple times but got denied. They say, I've lived with family for over 6 months, I don't have any major bills so I'm not considered homeless or struggling. The fact that I've been living with family for years and have never 100 percent been on my own, because I struggled to afford my own place should tell them something. Obviously I'm struggling. Also, the able bodied program is dumb considering CareerSource does absolutely nothing for people and haven't really since 2007 when I started using their services. They don't even help with resume building, or job searches, or sending a fax. I haven't had any help with my resume since 2015 and one guy completely messed it up and I wasn't able to get a job for months because of it. So to say you must be on government assistance for pet food or for any kind of help is pretty laughable. If it wasn't for my mom and section 8/hud housing, and homeless shelters I would be homeless right now. The government has never done anything for me.
Experiencia negativa: These people had me pay $151 for my cat Moogli's blood test for his surgery. The blood test is good for 30 days. No calls from them. I call leave VM, no response. You stole my money and lied to me. Like every single time I call, no answer leave your number we'll call back, you never do You people service the community by helping animals, gods perfect creatures, how is it that you are ok with stealing money from your community. "By their fruits you shall know them." ,
Experiencia fantástica: I go to casset as Norwood is harder to get to. I made my appointment assuming it was at casset. They told me I was at wrong location, although one email said casset and one said Norwood. They accommodated me so I didn't have to drive to Norwood. I had to wait 25 minutes longer. But, it was worth the wait. I was happy me and my pet got to see the Dr at casset as requested.
Experiencia negativa: we called and made an appointment, then we got there at our scheduled day and time. they told us that we didn't have an appt for that day, that our appt was still 2 weeks away. we did not mix anything up, this was an emergency asap visit we would not have made or been okay with an appt that far away. what I'm guessing is that they overbooked. we actually went to this same vet a week prior, just the other location. they have 2 offices. we only had to go again because the first time they told us after we got there they couldn't do half of the services we required, that we had to make an appt with the other office. even though they asked us over the phone when we made the appt what we were Making it for. they could have just told us then. my poor dog is in pain and has 2 wait two more weeks and I have no idea why.
Experiencia fantástica: Me and my family just went through a very sad time losing our cat . While everyone gave us the runaround, this place helped us so much . All the staff are so professional and caring. They were so understanding about our family loosing our fur baby and so professional with their verbiage and actions while our daughter was in the room, saying goodbye to her pet . 5 stars is not enough, it needs to be a 10 out of 10. To the staff if you’re reading this, thank you for everything . ❤️
Experiencia fantástica: Wow! What an absolute blessing from God this place is! I am a survivor of domestic violence and I am permanently disabled from it. I rescued two twin cats, bro “Baby J” and sis “Sissy” …sadly my boy has been not feeling well the last few days and I literally have nothing left after paying my bills this month. I thought he had a urinary blockage and was getting septic. I rushed over this morning and was greeted by the beautiful, and soft spoken Shannon. Instant calmness came over be. They assured me they would do everything they could do for my baby. They took him back and made sure he was stable enough to wait for his turn. We were in the waiting room 3 hours but it wasn’t even bad! The place is so well run and clean as a whistle! I saw them mop when I was there and clean every room after each pet. I met the incredible, wise and precious volunteer Lucy, she is 81 as has the soul of a young woman. She gave me great advice and was a beckon is relaxing all the anxious pet parents. The manager Yvonne was also so gentle and sweet to me, reassuring me that I was in the right place. I went in and saw Dr. James and her amazing vet tech with a really cool crotchet hat (sadly I did not get her name but hopefully you will know who I’m talking about!) Dr James was extremely thorough and is so good with every pet. Baby J has a UTI and some other issues with his bum that needed extracting and he is feeling sooo much better after that. He was completely at ease with the staff. They helped me financially sending us home with antibiotics, pain medicine, dewormer and very clear directions. I wasn’t shamed once for my situation even though I felt so bad having pets that I couldn’t provide for in case of emergency. Now that I have found EveryPet my anxiety is gone and I feel like I can afford and have a team behind us in any situation with my twins. I love yall and praying for each and every one of you. You are so precious and I will never forget how kindly you treated us in one of the lowest times of my life! MUCH LOVE EVERY PET!!!!
Experiencia fantástica: I brought my cat here to be checked out. Great, knowledgeable staff. They treated him well with no complaints. Thank you.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience!
Experiencia fantástica: After taking my cat to 3 vets, I finally took him here and they weren’t only ones who were able to find the problem and save my cat.
Experiencia fantástica: We volunteer and donate. Your donation goes far here. They stretch every dollar to max out helping the furry ones
Experiencia fantástica: Love this place great doctors awesome staff they even have a Pet Food Bank they have discounted services really great help to my family
Experiencia fantástica: I like this place the people was very caring and kind. Place is clean. And a good spot. Ever been to a place that you went and said this place is meant to be this place. That’s how I feel. Awesome. And affordable.
Experiencia negativa: Somehow I always leave frustrated from this and the other location. Cheap prices=poor customer service. I have a dog that was on the spay/neuter list for six months, I would call now and then to check on our wait status. I called today to see what was going on, no regard to being on the list but went ahead to try to make an appointment, only to be turned away because they are only scheduling the low income patients. A regular spay/neuter appointment could be scheduled the following month. At this point I could have gotten this dog fixed six months ago and not have to worry about her going into heat again. Maybe I should have been dishonest and told them I am the only person in my household. I have had similar problems with my other dog and his heart worm test appointments, no attempt to inform the owner on when to schedule due to age and renewing prescriptions. As well as pushing county licenses for the rabies vaccine, when I don’t live in duval county, they refuse to refund what I paid for the tag, AS WELL AS selling me an out of date tag. Are you kidding me? EDIT I really want to emphasize just how INCONSISTENT this practice is. Changing appointment times to be earlier because of their policy that has “always been a thing” when someone who just doesn’t care about their job originally scheduled it to be much later in the day. I understand following policy, I am bothered by at least two people who do not follow their own policies and make clients deal with the issue later.
Experiencia negativa: Pet has Cancer. My pet was unable to walk, breathe and wanted to euthanize him. Called and was told to bring in and cost. Upon arrival lady at desk said no appts and wait time was over 4 hours for emergency cases. Cost was 5 times what was told on phone. Was dirty, very noisy, and many rugged ppl sitting outside Let with pet, and took to another Veterinarian Clinic.
We’re very sorry to hear about your pet’s condition, and we understand how difficult and emotional that situation can be. We appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention and will share your feedback with our team. If you’d like to discuss your visit further, please contact us at (904) 425-0005.
Experiencia negativa: I normally have pleasant interactions at Every Pet/FCNMHP. I've gotten a lot of my community cat care from there. But I had a very negative interaction at the Cassat location, and I don't know if I want to continue using them. I brought in one of my ferals on 12/07 to do a humane euthanasia. He had a diagnosis of Stomatitis, and even though this can normally be a treatable condition - None of the options were ideal for our scenario. I had tried a few rounds of steroids and anti-biotics, and there were some improvements, but it wasn't a full success. The flair-ups came back. After deliberating for months, I came to the conclusion that euthanasia would be the best option for him. Pulling his teeth wasn't an option since he was feral and needs the teeth, and I had no way of knowing that he'd be okay inside if I spent the money to do the dental, and long term steroids would cause other eventual problems. This wasn't a household cat - He is feral and does not like humans. He just happened to live on my porch. I had already tried Animal Care and Humane Society for prior assistance, since this wasn't my cat, but they had been unable to help at those times. I managed to finally trap my feral that morning, after him struggling to eat for weeks. I brought him in that moment. After sitting in an exam room for over an hour, a vet tech came in and discussed what's happening with him. She took him out back to talk to Dr and get him set up for the procedure. But then Dr. Kampalli and her came back in after a very short time. Dr. Kampalli expressed that he not going to do the procedure and that he doesn't practice medicine like this. I was taken very aback, and was clearly already emotional since I was already heartbroken from my decision. He said they don't do "convenience euthanasias" and made me feel like a terrible person for wanting a better option for this cat. Even after I expressed that we've tried treatment, and that this cat is aggressive (and cause another cat's injury just weeks prior!), he said that the meds are cheap (just $20 apparently) and that's what he recommends. (And that cats can be bullies.... but this bully has FIV.) He didn't even truly want to sit and talk about it, because after I grew upset, he slowly backed out of the room and left. He also kept bringing up that the clinic is a non-profit, which had NOTHING to do with my reason for being there. I wasn't asking for anything free, and was more than willing to pay for the services. This location diagnosed him with both Stomatitis and FIV, and I had even discussed this option with a prior Vet there. I was floored that the decision to let my feral suffer was made. This was very insulting to me, and my experiences as a client and cat lover. I would never just put down an animal out of pure convenience. I left the clinic in tears, stressed because once again, I was stuck for caring for an animal that I cannot get proper help for. I did end up finding a local vet office that was open, and they kindly let me bring him in. After discussing everything I had tried and an exam was done, they agreed that letting him go was most humane. Knowing that the other vet office really reviewed options, double checked the diagnosis, and came back agreeing with me told me everything I needed to know about the decision done at Every Pet. This experience has immensely overshadowed any prior positive ones, and I am wondering how many other animals are forced to suffer.
Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed and heartfelt account. We recognize how emotionally difficult it is to make decisions about end-of-life care—especially for community and feral cats who cannot safely receive long-term or invasive treatment. Your long history of caring for community cats and working with our clinics is clear, and we understand why this experience was especially upsetting given that context.
Our medical team approaches euthanasia decisions with careful consideration of each individual case, and different veterinarians may assess treatment options and outcomes differently. That said, we understand how important it is for those conversations to feel respectful, thorough, and compassionate—particularly during moments of grief and stress. We appreciate you sharing how this interaction felt from your perspective and will ensure your feedback is shared internally for review.
If you would like to discuss this experience further, please contact us at (904) 425-0005. We value the care and advocacy you’ve shown for community cats and appreciate you taking the time to provide thoughtful feedback.
Experiencia fantástica: There are no words to express how much this place means to my family and I. We thought we were out of options with Simon. Thanks to EveryPet, not only do we have our Simon home for Xmas, he has a whole new lease on life!
Experiencia negativa: Waited over an hour for a follow up. Insane. Walked out without actually being seen.
Experiencia fantástica: I took my kitten and three weeks ago for her second set of shots and the doctor was sweet kind awesome
Experiencia fantástica: Staff showed a lot of compassion while I made the difficult choice to put my dog to rest
Experiencia fantástica: I came to put down my cat because I couldn't afford to get him cared for and the wonderful people were very compassionate while I was breaking down and were able to save my cats while helping me find assistance for other issues with them as well. I'd work here if I had the experience or credentials. I do plan on volunteering when I'm free of scabies every chance I can because these people care so much.
Experiencia fantástica: I had a truly great experience at No More Homeless Pets during my visit on Sunday. The staff was warm, patient, and incredibly caring with my pet, and I felt genuinely supported throughout the entire appointment. The doctor took time to answer my questions, explain everything clearly, and make sure my pet was comfortable and well cared for. Their kindness and dedication really stood out. While my experience on Saturday wasn’t as smooth, the exceptional service I received on Sunday more than made up for it. I appreciate how attentive and compassionate the team was, and I left feeling grateful for the level of care my pet received. I’m thankful to have a place that truly puts animals first.
Experiencia negativa: After having to go to 3 different animal hospitals in 6 hours, I rate this guy a sad excuse for a vet !!!!!! He literally treated my dog like it was a Alien ! Not going to say anymore it was disrespectful and not worthy of any retaliation. Green Cove animal hospital on 17 is the best. Their people are full of compassion.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you felt disappointed during your visit, especially in such a stressful situation. We take all concerns seriously and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. If you’d like to discuss your experience further, please contact us at (904) 425-0005.
Experiencia fantástica: My poor sweet and silly Noah, I adopted him Aug 18 2018 , clear the shelters day in Bradenton FL at Bishop animal shelter . He started showing signs of doggie dementia in 2021 and it slowly took over him . He was a Jackapoo he totally had the Jack Russell attitude and all the poodle hair . But his attitude began to get worse and he got harder and harder to handle . He went blind in both eyes and basically deaf in both ears . Lost the ability to remember wear to go potty . I did all I could for him as long as I could but at the point that he was I knew he needed help I couldn't give him . So I went to these people and they were so good and nice . I also had a kitten that I had fixed with EveryPet and I still have her. I would definitely recommend these people for all your pet care needs .
Experiencia positiva: I'm thankful for a local vet that helps lower income folks. They do need to get more organized... I did not receive a copy of invoice and if you'd like medication for your pet you have to ask.
Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we truly appreciate your kind words about our services. We’re glad to support our community, and we’ll make sure your comments about organization and communication are shared with our team. If you ever need a copy of an invoice or have questions about medications, please feel free to call us at (904) 425-0005.
Experiencia fantástica: Very nice, compassionate people. They helped us when our cat was terminally Ill. It did take awhile, since we were walk-ins so it was understandable. We will take our animals here again in the future.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We’re glad we could be there for you and your cat during such a difficult time, and we truly appreciate your understanding with the walk-in wait. We’re grateful for your trust and look forward to caring for your pets in the future.
Experiencia negativa: I came in at 820. It is 1 PM. As a walk-in. No one‘s talking to me about anything and when I ask about the wait time nobody can tell me anything except there’s emergency clients being seen before my pet …also appointments. It seems like a great low cost theory and everyone’s been nice. At what cost? Hmm my sanity :/ I asked if I could speak to the manager, and I was told that the manager isn’t here. I was advised to go upfront and talk to the people up there. The problem isn’t with the people I don’t think. It’s the management of the place. There must be a better way. I didn’t even know I could make appointments here. On the new every pet.org I can’t even get the phone number to the place. I came in on Sunday at 5:50 by the way and I was told,”We close in five minutes and there are no vets here. You could come back tomorrow morning at 0800.” (which was Monday ) I worked 7 to 7 so I couldn’t do that! You think maybe they could’ve handled that situation a little differently? I do. There has to be a way to manage this situation of endless waiting. Somebody just came to me 20 minutes ago and said there’s two people in front of me. Wow, it only took them five hours to customer service me lol. It’s now 1:23 still waiting. The very first time I came here it wasn’t so bad. My dog had diarrhea. They almost made me get a Parvo test $$, even though she was vaccinated three weeks prior.I did have the girl that told me. I refused everything that the Vet at the other office had offered me. I showed her my records. She assumed I refused and was quite judgmental without knowing that I already had the items that I declined. On that visit I had the vet that didn’t come in the room. That always leaves one warm and fuzzy Here’s a statement from the CEO. “We chose the name EveryPet because it reflects exactly what we believe: that every pet, in every family, deserves compassionate and accessible veterinary care and resources,” said Jennifer Barker, EveryPet CEO. I am not feeling compassion or accessible veterinary care after over five hours thus far waiting.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We understand how long wait times—especially during busy walk-in hours—can be incredibly frustrating, and we’re sorry to hear that your visit felt so difficult. We appreciate your feedback regarding communication and flow, and we’ll be sharing your comments with our team as we continue working to improve our processes for both walk-in and appointment clients.
If you’d like to discuss your visit in more detail, please reach out to us at (904) 425-0005.
Experiencia negativa: Made an appointment over the phone to be seen the next day at 3pm. Drove all the way to the location, went in and waited in line for about 15 minutes, just to find out the woman that scheduled the appointment put it for the next month, not the next day. I had to beg for them to give him the rabies vaccine at least so that he doesnt be at risk for heartworms given he JUST got cleared after treatment. WORST VET!!!! They’ve even went up on their prices now, literally a $20-$30 difference in pricing if you were to take them somewhere more attentive.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We understand how frustrating it can be when a visit doesn’t go as expected, and we’re sorry to hear you felt dissatisfied with your experience. We’ll make sure your comments are shared with our team as we continue working to provide the best service possible. If you’d like to discuss your visit further, please contact us at (904) 425-0005.
Experiencia negativa: I had arrived for my appointment. I have a DAD Service Dog. She is also in training for aspects of PSD specifically PTSD and Anxiety. I was confronted by a male and female in parking lot. Someone without a handicap placard was parked illegally forcing me to park further down. Zoe is trained to potty off leash. While in designated area she was confronted by female which made her alert to the situation. I stated to staff she was a service animal. They ignored that and telling me dogs can't be off leash and she was in parking lot. She was only in parking lot because she was watching them because of the tension. Lady was unreasonable and confrontational causing my PTSD to ramp up. I ended up taking my business elsewhere because of their insensitivity to disabled people in their need for a service animal. They should understand the federal and state Ada laws if they are going to work with dogs
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We take feedback regarding accessibility and service animals seriously and strive to provide a welcoming environment for all clients and their pets. We’ll share your comments with our team as part of our ongoing staff training. If you’d like to discuss your visit further, please contact us at (904) 425-0005.
Experiencia fantástica: Every pet in notwood is great.the folk r friendly and love your pet I think there all great for what they do for all The staff was so nice all of them thank you
Experiencia negativa: One star—only for the reception desk staff Csr Kristy. When paying for the services, the employee was extremely rude and responded in a dismissive/contemptuous manner. Furthermore, she deliberately prolonged the process: she sat with my documents and receipt, ignored me, and was distracted by personal conversations with colleagues. This is an absolute lack of respect for the client and a waste of my time. I was forced to return to the clinic to obtain the missing documents that I could not get during my first visit. Due to the horrible behavior and outrageous unprofessionalism of CSR Kristy, this completely incompetent and rude employee, I had to deal with her twice. The problem was that I needed documents required by Florida law for my dog — the vaccination number and the pet license. The second time I came to the clinic with my partner, who was extremely polite and friendly toward this employee. However, CSR Kristy openly showed irritation, arrogance, and blatant rudeness. When my partner wished her good morning, she didn’t even bother to reply. Her manner of communication was toxic, disrespectful, and absolutely unacceptable for someone working with clients. This employee, CSR Kristy, has proven twice that she has no understanding of professionalism, respect, or even basic manners.

Experiencia positiva: It took the entire day. Was helping a friend out to bring in two cats to be fixed. The white lady (who looked like she hated her job behind the desk), was very vague with her answers. I asked what time to pick up the cats. She just said this afternoon. No time was given. Like I'm supposed to know after she asked twice if we had ever been there before. No we had not. I finally repeated the question. She said 4:30-5. It was 10 am when we were planning on dropping them off. Fourth in line. Didn't get the two cats registered till nearly 12:30. Seemed unorganized. The people at time at pick up were wonderful. Very happy to help us laughing and fun. Also no one told us on the phone we had to have a special cage or you have to rent one of theirs for $100.
Experiencia positiva: Cone here for labs, x-rays, etc. great on prices but for ME, not for my dogs treatment. Took my dog here (second vet) for x-rays due to him being swollen in lips, chest and was coughing through the night for a few weeks. I requested x-rays to be done (were the cheapest in town). Revealed he had fluid outside of his lungs and stomach. I was given a script to induces vomiting but it also induces appetite. The female doctor wore a mask and would not come in the room with us. Rather, she andar at the doorway afar off and pointed at him, with a raised eyebrow look “you see that” face gesture, while he was coughing. The doctor stated to either take him to the ER and could be costly or euthanize him. They did a heart worm test which was negative. The doctor said it could be cancer but more test needed to be done, that it is best to take him to the ER if I can afford to help him: if not, euthanize him. I didn’t like that female doctor at all. I am there are other doctors who are better here. Note * I took him to another vet prior to this vet (first one) who poorly treated him and provided nothing for his swelling or cough: only blood work and aspirate for test. Issue started in late September. * I took him to the ER which drained fluid from chest only, did bloodwork which showed his protein levels were dangerously low and gave him a vitamin B12 shot, and Royal Canine GI soft food. I was advised to take him to his vet. ER stated that the protein level being that low can cause his conditions or heart failure could be another factor. Test will have to be done. I found another vet (third one) where the doctor read all the paperwork/notes, stayed with me and listened to concerns and his symptoms that I have been observing. The doctor (Dill) advised to take a step-by-step approach and see if antibiotics along with a diuretic and inflammation medication will help him (if he will respond). If he does not respond, we will do these other steps but if he responds, we will go a different route that is less extensive. Since the visit with Dr Dill, he has been improving and has been able to sleep at night without coughing/whining. I will be taking him here to get the expensive work done bc it’s cheaper here but for his regular vet visits or treatment, he will be going to First Coast Vets, Dr. Dill. I thank God for Dr. Dill. Remember, where there is life, there is HOPE.
Experiencia fantástica: My poor community cat with an eye infection got the best treatment and care worth the wait!!! Vet took time to talk me about the aftercare highly recommended!!!!! Btw if a cat ever has this take immediately to a vet
Experiencia positiva: 3.5 out of 5 stars. The clinic is clean, affordable, and easy to book with in person (don’t recommend calling, hold times are long). Staff were helpful, and I liked that their pricing is transparent and matches what’s listed online. The waiting area is large, which I appreciated because I could sit apart from others, great for new puppy parents or nervous pets. During my first visit, they allowed me to go inside with my puppy, but they still took her to the back without me. I understand why (some owners can be anxious or interfere), but as a first-time dog parent, it was nerve-wracking not being told exactly what was happening. • On the second visit, I wasn’t allowed to go back at all. They didn’t give a quick rundown of what they’d do, which made me uneasy, especially since I wanted to discuss her spay timeline. • The biggest issue for me was lack of communication: my puppy received her rabies shot without my consent or even being asked first. I had planned to wait until she was five months old, but she was only four at the time. (We only came for DHPP boosters) Even if it’s something they do at FCNMHP, owners should still be informed and have the option to agree or decline before it’s done. When I asked to speak with a vet about spaying, the front staff gave general answers. They said a vet would call me later, but no one did until I followed up in person a week later. Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for affordable, straightforward pricing and don’t mind a more hands-off approach, this place does the job. But if you’re a first-time pet parent who wants to be informed and involved in every step of your pet’s care, you might feel overlooked here. My first visit was good, but after the second, I decided I won’t return, mainly because they administered a vaccine without informing me beforehand.
Experiencia fantástica: When your struggling to pay for your pet go here they make it affordable and really care for your as there own. With love and respect
Experiencia fantástica: Great service, best option for low income people
Experiencia negativa: 0 stars This vet is horrible, I scheduled an appointment about 3 months ago, and called to confirm my appointment yesterday, only for them to say that there was never an appointment even though it was confirmed when I scheduled it. The person on the phone told me to do a walk-in the next day, so I showed up as a walk-in today and waited an hour and a half, only to be told that they can’t take us in and that we could schedule another appointment. It took an hour and a half just to tell me, they can’t fit my baby in, (absolutely infuriating). They could have told me that there is no room for my cat the moment we walked in. My cat has dental problems and even the front desk lady agreed that he should be seen. The fact that I waited almost 2 hours for nothing to happen and to be turned away is insane. The front lady did her best to help, but I am never stepping foot into this vet ever again. If you care about your pet don’t take them to this vet, their facility is not what it seems, and it’s not worth a penny or a minute of your time, because they genuinely don’t care.
We’re so sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating this must have been. This isn’t the level of communication or care we aim to provide. We appreciate your feedback and will be reviewing it with our team to improve. Please reach out to us at (904) 425-0005 so we can help make things right.
Experiencia negativa: Came in at 930am on Sunday morning as a walk-in because my cat had collapsed. Sat there waiting for six hours until a volunteer heard my cat crying out in pain and insisted they take him back. The woman who took him was visibly annoyed with the volunteer for insisting she take the cat in front of me as she had the attitude that they knew we were waiting and they’d get around to us. Mind you we sat there waiting through everyone’s lunch break and the lobby being empty except for me and one other walk in for at least two hours. Another girl wanted me to sign some paperwork giving permission to administer anesthesia and gave me serious attitude when I refused because the cat was lethargic and hadn't moved for hours and told me that “if the cat got spicy while they were trying to draw blood they’d just call me to come get my cat and leave”.She also wanted me to sign to leave my cat overnight and when i asked why she said “I don’t know but he’s badly sick.” Each signature would have cost at least $250. They finally ran $400 worth of tests on my cat and then told us to go elsewhere, after sitting there for eight hours! I understand this is a low cost clinic and they are always busy, but sitting there for 8 hours with my cat who is clearly sick seemed excessive and the complete lack of compassion and empathy for our situation was extremely hurtful. I also want to add that when I got this cat not long ago I made an appointment for a wellness check and when I brought him in all he got was booster shots. I feel like we may have caught his issues at that time had they performed the service I requested, but because the cat had no visible illness at the time they didn’t feel it was necessary. I will be looking for another vet.
Experiencia negativa: 0 stars for a vet that has me waiting 4 plus hours to put my suffering cat down. I was told get here early. I was here at 930am. It's 1245. My suffering cat is also freaking out from anxiety from this wait in a crate. Like what is going on. I can hear people getting called back. 5 minutes to give a cat a shot to be put down but I'm here 4 hours for no service. The prices don't even make up for this crap. Don't bring your animal here if you have any feelings what so ever.
Experiencia negativa: I went to the Norwood location, then I was sent to the Cassat location who made an appointment for my two cats. I was told if I needed the to be seen sooner I could do a walk in appointment. I arrived today at 7:30am and was first in line, only to be turned away and told that we can be walk ins for flea/tick/deworming medicine for the cats, even though one of our cats has a severe issue. When I tried to explain we were told we could do walk in, I got the standard “I wasn’t here for that, sorry for your inconvenience.” It’s really upsetting that they advertise so many good things to hep lower income families keep and care for their pets, but in reality don’t follow through .
Experiencia negativa: Scheduled an annual visit in July for 330 on 9/20. When I arrived at 3:30, they checked us in smoothly. At 4:52, after still not being taken back, they let us know it would be another 20-30 min at least. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.
Experiencia fantástica: We had our cat spayed at the Normandy location. Everything seemed great until I noticed a lump at the site of incision. Brought her back into the Casset location. Once they saw her they immediately offered to do a revise of her surgery to tack the hernia back in. Although she had to have two surgeries, I greatly appreciate that they took care of the cost for everything.. Surgery, medications and all. At the end of the day Marley is doing wonderful! Thank you for the all the services y’all provide for these precious animals.
Experiencia negativa: If I could give them no stars I most definitely would this place is a joke. I spoke with them Friday on the phone and they instructed me to bring my kitten in for a walk in that. It was urgent that I bring her in and her to be seen when I get to the office yesterday at 8:45 there was already about 10 people in line so I get in line. The line was mixed with walk-ins and appointments and I stand in line till 10:20 AM until I finally get up to the desk and I’m told that my kittens condition is not an emergency and that they cannot see him and the excuse I was given us that there’s a communication error between the people answering the phones and the people that are checking people in at the actual offices. I was scheduled an appointment for September 18 at 9 AM and told that that is the soonest that they can see my kitten, my kitten should be fine. I get home with my kitten. My kitten is bleeding from her butt and looks like she’s in an early stages of death barely eaten doesn’t play laying around constantly meowing like something is hurting her and this office that false advertises how they try to fill in that gap for pet owners and pets for affordable and good vet care and for them to turn me away after there was four or five different walk-ins that they chose to let stay really sickens me There were people saying stuff was wrong with their pets that wasn’t wrong with their pets just so they could get seen and they let it happen and they turned the people away that really needed to be seen. So pretty much they saw a four year-old little boy who was in love with this kitten in their office yesterday and they sent me home to with the intent of that four-year-old watching this kitten passed away and that sickens me that makes me so sick to my stomach!
Experiencia negativa: We took our dog to the Cassat Avenue facility via appointment for dental needs on April 1, 2025..The assessment was done. We were given antibiotics and had blood work done as a condition of surgery. We were told it could take about 1 month for surgery to be scheduled. After 6 weeks, without hearing from them, I went to their facility to confirm I was on the waiting list. Staff at the front desk confirmed I was on the waiting list. I was then told it could be another 6 weeks or so before I could be seen. By the end of August, I still heard nothing from them. I went to another vet, who again ran blood work and promptly set up dental surgery for September 3rd. At least as far as following up with dental surgery, 1st Coast NMHP was completely incompetent. They have a "we will get to you later approach." They prescribed antibiotics but it was useless since antibiotics should be given prior to scheduled surgery. Surgery was never scheduled. I paid for blood work which was not accepted at the next vet because standard practice requires blood work to be done within 30 days of scheduled surgery. For anyone planning dental surgery, do not take to this facility. You will be left twisting in the wind.
Experiencia positiva: The prices are very low here and the quality of service matches the price. It wasn't a crowed day at all surprisingly either. I don't like that they do not give the care to the animals in front of the family. I want to see that they are doing what we appointed them to do.
Experiencia negativa: I been trying to call for weeks to schedule a spaying appointment and no one has got back to me or picked up phone I been on hold for a long time and nothing.
Experiencia fantástica: Just amazing. I don't think you'll ever hear a customer/client complain about this vet, their services, level of care, pricing, nor outcome... And I'm not different. Love them. They've been life savers on so many levels for my rescue pit. From routine care & medication/preventatives, to lab work & diagnostics, as well as surgeries & procedures - they can do everything necessary for a pets happy, healthy life. The only thing I will note is that they are best for either urgent lifesaving emergencies & evaluations or appointments you are able to schedule a few days to up to 2+ weeks in advance (sometimes a month out depending). Lab work is pretty quick to get an appointment for with a couple days notice (I believe). However, same day and most likely next day appointments for low or moderate issues or maintenance appointments are not likely... Great vet all around though. And consider donating either monetary or resources on their website!!!
Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful care for both my Lola and Onyx (dogs). Great customer service and Medical Staff. Blessings
Experiencia negativa: There is nowhere online that indicates when the walk-ins are and are not accepted. If you love your animal and it is in pain, do not bring it here.
Experiencia negativa: I scheduled an appointment at this location and arrived 10 minutes early. I checked in, and after 40 minutes of waiting, I was told my pet could not be seen today, and we had to reschedule. This was extremely unprofessional and a HUGE inconvenience. This is the second time I’ve visited this clinic and have been forced to leave without and service for my animal.
Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly environment where my dog was well treated and I especially loved how they handledy boy who is permanently in their care from now on...
Experiencia positiva: Not enough staff available at the front desk, you could see on unhappiness written all over staffs faces. Had to wait in line to check in and again to pay for far too long. Animals in the waiting room peeing and pooping everywhere... Smh...
Experiencia negativa: This was my first experience at this vet and to say the least, it was so dang ridiculous and frustrating. I recently saved a stray dog who was dumped, and scheduled a day for him to get neutered. They tell me what time to drop off (7-8am) so I get there at 7:03 and it’s not open, I tried calling their number multiple times. I would be told by the electronic communication system to press 3 for surgeries, Id press 3 and it would tell me it’s not in service, tried calling customer service but they weren’t open yet. So I continued to wait for an HOUR. They finally open up at 8:05 and by this time there’s a line, I get in line and the front desk person tells us if you’re here for drop off to come to this side. I get in line over there and one after another she tells the customers that they aren’t supposed to be at this location. Keep in mind, it’s my first time going there I was unaware that there was 2 locations. Sure enough I get to the desk and she tells me i’m not supposed to be here, I tell her the lady who scheduled me never told me what location to go to for drop off. She could’ve offered to call the other location to fit me in, because now it’s 10 after 8 and I can’t even make it to the other location in order to drop off between the time (7-8). I get back in my car and tried calling the one I was supposed to be at but ofcourse I’m on hold for 20 minutes and by this time it’s 8:30 and I’ve already been up 2 hours for absolutely nothing but wasting my time, which i absolutely hate wasting my time. Absolutely ridiculous service and communication. I will not be going to this company ever.
Experiencia positiva: This is the only facility that offers low cost spay and neuter anywhere near Camden County GA. $55 to spay or neuter a Community feral cat for GA residents. The problem is between the facilities and the organization answering their phones. First Coast No More Homeless Pets has a COMMUNICATION problem. The people that answer tell you "the facilities have NO phones so they have to email them". The people that answer their phones also tell you it can take up to 5 (FIVE) days to get your pet. When you go to the Norwood facility the workers onsite tell you 24 to 48 hours and sometimes the same day and they in fact have phones on their desks. Whomever is the organization answering the phones for them needs to be fixed. This facility is great but their answering service is not.
Experiencia fantástica: We came in thinking our almost 15 yr toy chihuahua would need to be euthanized due to her age, going blind and possibly going deaf however the examination determined that she’s physically fine for now. No visible signs of kidney failure or liver disease. She’s still eating, drinking and walking…They cleaned her ears and gave her some medicine for a bad tooth she has. The staff were sooo friendly and caring. It was such a relief!!I definitely recommend this place.
Experiencia positiva: My first time there, they had me down for a wellness check. I brought him for a second opinion from my regular vet. But the person who set up my appointment told me I was able to go in to talk to the doctor. But of course a mistake was made on scheduling I had to make another appointment. The front desk was extremely friendly and apologized for the mix up. But so I had waited a month, what was another 2 week's. Maybe a little off my dog's life. Just saying. I had heard good things about the doctors there. Hopefully I can trust them with my pups life.
Experiencia positiva: I really like it here. The staff is all great. Its always clean. They seem to take great care of all my fur babies. But my appointments are never on time. Im always early or on time and I wait anywhere between 20 and 40 mins. I get it, emergencies come in, but some communication would be great. Other than that, cant beat the prices.
Experiencia fantástica: I have had nothing but good to say about the clinic. Very compassionate and friendly!! The best staff I have ever encountered at a vet clinic. My small fur baby was attacked by a large vicious pit bull & had to undergo two surgeries within two weeks. I have to give a HUGE thanks to Surgeon/Dr.Kampalli & Takara!!!! What started out as a nightmare for me, Doc & Takara made everything better! They were incredibly kind and compassionate, putting both me and my pet at ease. Ms.Amy & the rest of the front office staff was very helpful & kind as well. They also assist with in house financing if needed I am so grateful 10/10 highly recommend!!!
Experiencia negativa: I've been taking my pets here for the last 10 years and has been very pleasant. Until today. I took our dog in for blood work, shots and manual well visit. The young girl that took our dog into the other room was very nice. Shortly another woman came back in with our dog and said she wouldn't do the job because the dog was too aggressive. We had a muzzle on her and she was scared. We asked who she was and she said Dr. James. I said I could hold her so she could do the work. She told me that it would be too dangerous. We asked how long she has been a vet. Then she told us to just leave. We took her to another Vet near our home and he was happy to do the work and only took a few minutes and was done. It was nice to take our dog to a vet that cares about the animals. From this day forward I will never go back to No more homeless pets again.
Experiencia negativa: yeah it’s a cheaper option but this facility is slow as hell. i waited 3 hours while people who came after me were served instantly this is ridiculous. i was given the run around for 3 hours. 2 stars because it’s cheap but anything else is awful
Experiencia negativa: Called them to see if they can take my pet in as an appointment explained my pets issues. My pet normally goes to this location. They told me to come in as a walk-in. I drive the 20 minutes to come to this place for them to tell me just to go to the emergency room they could’ve done that over the phone.!!!!!! Usually my pets just get their annual checkup so I’ve never had to do an emergency issue before but seriously the communication there when I’m on the phone and explain what is going on with my pet for them to say come on in. We’ll try to take you as a walk-in for them to proceed to tell me when I get there Just take him to the emergency room like seriously could’ve just said that in the first place instead of wasting my time driving to you
Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I, unfortunately, had to bring our elder pup in to be ethically euthanized - she was a 15 year old Chow named Matilda. Due to NMHP being an affordable clinic, we did have an ~5 hour wait… that being said, we arrived at around 9:30am and were immediately placed in a room with our pup. When the time finally came, Carmen and Dr. Hoy were so very compassionate and friendly. Our sweet girl couldn’t have been in better hands. I’ve also had my pittie pup neutered with NMHP and Isaiah (surgical staff, I believe) at the Norwood location is also amazing. Overall: be patient with your pets care and the staff will take care of you. It takes special people and compassionate hearts to do their job and we are forever grateful.
Experiencia fantástica: Good afforadable vet care with easily accessible hours for appointments. Everyone is friendly and helpful even despite my Dalmatian being a difficult and anxious patient.
Experiencia negativa: This place has become more and more ridiculous. It's a hassle to get anyone to ever answer the phones. The front desk are the slowest I have ever seem in any place. Wait times to be seen is beyond ridiculous and good luck getting an appointment. I scheduled several appointments a few months ago. They couldn't accommodate all my appointments at the same time so I agree to make one in the morning and 3 other appointments n the afternoon. I was expecting to be seeing at a reasonable time so I could get one appointments done, run back home, and get my other pets to make the second appointments. After 2 hrs of waiting, I went up to the front desk and asked about how much longer they thought it would take. They just said we couldn't give you a time. People normally come here because it is supposed to be an affordable option. But after wait time and service, it's just not worth it. it's really not that big of a difference in price. If you can afford a few more dollars, find other options. I ended up canceling all my appointments for the day. Wasting a whole day sitting here is not worth the savings. especially when they obviously don't care and want to react with an attitude when asked why have I been here for 2 hours?. When I arrived it was only 3 people in the waiting area I saw many people come and go and I went up to the front desk, the same girl that checked me in was acting like she has never seen me before in her life, I checked in with her. She told me to sit in a designated cat waiting area and of course they either didn't check me in at all or canceled my appointment while I was sitting there waiting. A very neglectful and disrespectful action towards my time and my very stressed cat. Then another woman proceeded to tell me that they also see emergencies and that's why I was there so long. Instead of admitting they messed up and try to make it better. I completely understand the emergency situation of other pets and if that was the actual case I would have been even more understanding but I know that wasn't the case. Also why schedule appointments to make appointments wait an unreasonable amount of time? Anyway I will seek better care for my pets and better treatment for me as a paying customer. It's not free so I expect a better treatment and consideration per parent and customer.
Experiencia negativa: I have been on hold now for 1 hour. I need to ask a question about a kitten that was spayed there last week and really do not want to hang up. 1 DAMN HOUR!!!!! This is 100% unacceptable. Im.wishing that i went somewhere else now.
Experiencia negativa: They advertise to have this "low cost" program and you get the same "there's no appointments , call back next week" like 3 times. At this point do you even accept new appointments. This is ridiculous and frustrating. Do better, it might be a low cost service but we are still customers.
Experiencia negativa: I wanna share my story about this place. I wouldn't even rate it 1 star but I had to. I took my cat there on June 27th 2025 and they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to try to save him. He had become ill within a week and the ONLY thing they offered us was to kill him!! I am hurt and FURIOUS with how me and my fur baby was treated. The doctor lied to us and told us he had an IV put in him and he didn't receive any help at all he was placed in the waiting room with me over an hour and a half while they just let him suffer and ignore him like he was trash. I wanna let everyone know they do this to people and cats
Experiencia fantástica: We had to go here to sadly put my dog down. The staff were very friendly and gentle with me, very patient. They even gave us clippers and something to put her fur in. Definitely a caring vet.
Experiencia negativa: While I appreciate that this facility exists and offers low cost veterinary services, they are wildly inefficient with time. I have waited over an hour for seemingly simple appointments on multiple occasions. I’m not sure if it’s an over-booking issue or a staff issue, but I have had the same experience every single visit without fail. It’s a bit disheartening as I do like the facility, just be prepared to spend all day here.
Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love the care they give your pets and there professionalism plus the office is super clean , and there prices are affordable I will always go here for my fur babies. You may have to wait if no appointment was available but it’s worth the love the show you’re pet and support .
Experiencia negativa: I went here because I had to put my dog to sleep on a Sunday: it was the only affordable option. The front desk was fine, but the vet was cold, curt, even after I asked questions (which he resented, to the point of sticking his finger 2 inches from my face & yelling at me!!!). Then I had to wait a MONTH to get his ashes back: no call if they were ready earlier!!
Experiencia negativa: Took cat in to be euthanized, ( rectal prolapse 6 times) 6 hours in a private room. 4.75 of those hours just waiting. Shouldn't have been longer then 45 minutes, Staff was nice just slower then dirt and apparently forgetful
Experiencia fantástica: That place is Busy. As Long as you have an appointment, Its all good. If you Don’t Expect a long sit and wait. I had an. Appointment. There are doggy treats available in the waiting area too. It was a good visit.
Experiencia negativa: We went in today to get our cats shots, but we were running 10 minutes late so we called ahead to let them know and they said that it would be fine, but when we arrived exactly 10 minutes late they said we'd have to reschedule which we would've understood had they not already told us over the phone that it'd be fine. We would've just not come out of our way if we knew. Also, our cat is very skittish, and we try to warn them about her each time, and they have never listened only once. We explained to them in detail how to handle her and how they handled her on her one successful visit, and they basically say yeah whatever and do what they want, which has never worked. They do fine with our other cat but not her. This will be our last time visiting here because surely there are other vets who will care for and handle her properly. Them lying over the phone was our last straw with them. Update We found a new vet, and they were able to give her all of her shots on her first visit.
Experiencia fantástica: We are a high volume dog and horse rescue. We drive up from georgia approx once or twice a month for spay and neuter. I couldn't be happier with everyone at FCNHP. Their staff and doctors are wonderful. I couldn't recommend them more!
Experiencia negativa: Third visit in a row with terrible service. Listened to receptionist wispering / decide who gets seen that day (I was one of them) second customer to arrive prior to opening on this walk in only day. Canceled appointments on previous occasions by receptionists without a phone call. Spiteful checkup including shots in less than 60 seconds. Walked away with pet and returned in less than 60 seconds. Still received a bill but, no proof anything was done. Be careful using this place. Pet treated for de-worming to discover my pet still have worms less than 2 months. Medication lost or canceled prior to pickup on multiple occasions. There's more but I think you get my point. Only been dealing with location for total of 4 months with 4 total visits. I'm done with this location. Hopefully your story is better for you if you try this place.
Experiencia negativa: What is the point of having this clinic and having the Norwood location send someone with an emergency to the Casset location if the vet at this location won't treat the animal because they have paperwork they are doing and don't have time to see the injured animal. Instead, they said to go to Clay County Humane Society as "their prices are similar to FCNMH". This is the attitude that is being subsidized.
Experiencia negativa: I Was a walk (#6) in on Cassatt 08:am. I was there until 1:15 pm and still did not get seen? I ended up walking out, what a waste of time and my pets; I informed front desk; this is beyound ridiculous, unprofessional; you don't do this to clients and their pets. If this was my business I would close it down. They need to totally revamp their way of doing walkins.. The worst experience of waiting at any veterinarian clinic in my 70yrs of life.
Experiencia fantástica: I took my dog to a vet in Riverside and they charge $200 just for the parvo test try to charge 2500 all together when the tech told me about first Coast no more homeless pets where I paid $117!!! I am forever grateful!
Experiencia negativa: they did an okay job. I was upset to learn, after leaving the hospital and bringing my cat home, that they cut all of his paw nails. I was NEVER informed that this would happen. they cut so much that there is dry blood near his paw nails which tells me that they cut into where they should not have. I believe that they should have at the very least informed me that they planned to do this PRIOR to doing it. not even as he was being discharged was I informed of this. first and last time unfortunately. I had high hopes because they were recommended to me but sadly this seems like retaliation for my unwillingness to leave my cat there overnight. I will continue to inspect and monitor my cat to see if there is anything else that I was not told would happen. the third eyelid has not gone away. I just hope my boy is on the mend. if so I will come back and edit this with a higher rating but for now I am hurt and disappointed. compassion is a MUST in this industry and if you do not have compassion you should not work as a vet. period. please read the other low reviews. I am not the only one who has had this experience.
Experiencia fantástica: Even tho they were extremely booked, they still saw me. They told me they weren’t expecting walk ins. My 5 month old puppy broke his leg or what I believed. He was screaming in pain. After waiting for what seemed like ever, a doctor pulled us aside and saw my pup. They handled the situation with ease, & handled my fur child & I with such grace and so much empathy. I will forever be grateful to the doctor and staff here who helped me.
Experiencia fantástica: The office was clean and very roomy. There was enough space for all the furry patients! There is a separate room for cats to wait in. The staff was attentive and helpful. The prices were half the regular vets costs! They were very informative and thorough. They take all kinds of donations! Will definitely be back!
Experiencia fantástica: This place is awesome. They worked us in as quickly as possible and took very good care of my dog, and were also very good to me. The cost was less than half of what other low cost vets quoted me & I can't tell you how grateful I am for that. I'm so glad to be a part of their community now.
Experiencia negativa: Dealing with the heart-wrenching decision to put a pet down is already challenging enough, but waiting over three hours without receiving any proper care or attention is completely unacceptable. I called ahead, and the person I spoke to assured me that we would be taken care of promptly if we arrived before 2:00 PM. We arrived at 10:15 AM, yet by 1:36 PM, we were still sitting in the room, emotionally drained and waiting for someone to attend to us. The only interaction we had was at 11:23 AM to sign paperwork for saying goodbye to our beloved pet. It is utterly inconsiderate to make a grieving family wait for over three hours for something as important as this. You're quick to demand payment, but not so quick to provide the care and compassion that should be expected in such a situation. This level of neglect is not acceptable. Our pets are our family, and we deserve better treatment and empathy during such difficult times. Do better!
Experiencia fantástica: Really good place where to take your pets. Staff took into consideration that I had hurt my back and I couldn't handle my dog very well, and they put us in a room away from everyone. That really impressed me. They took care of my dog and I was on my way home within an hour. Really really good place.
Experiencia positiva: My last experience here almost made me cut up! I had just gotten off work to pick up my dogs flea meds. When I went in there was no one in line so I'm just standing there. These two people behind the desk see me standing there and instead of acknowledging me they kept talking. I almost said something. This location was closest to me so I went here. I think I will just go back to their location on Norwood.
Experiencia fantástica: My kitten and dog have each visited twice. My dog required surgery in 2023, and my kitten needed vaccinations. All four visits were wonderful. The staff were pleasant, the technicians were kind to the animals, and both veterinarians who examined my pets were excellent. They were very good at explaining their needs and the planned procedures. I highly recommend this place.
Experiencia negativa: I Had an a situation with some very sweet and friendly cats one of which who had a large litter of kittens on our property . I Wanted to make sure they would be taken care of and hopefully find a group that could help. I tell you right now this is not it. 1. no one answers their phones at all, good luck trying to talk to any one, I called multiple times in the day. Left several messages and NO ONE RETURNED MY CALL. Sounds like a scam organization to me. Complete trash!
Experiencia positiva: I have taken three cats to this place. The first time a couple of years ago was great. My experience on 3/14/2025, however, was completely different. They were completely disorganized when it was time to pick up your pet. We don’t know if we actually got the flea and tick medicine for our cat. We certainly weren’t given it. Hopefully they applied it, but my confidence in that isn’t high. They couldn’t find anybody’s paperwork. They didn’t have medications ready. The sign in clipboard was not easily accessible in the morning or the afternoon. They actually couldn’t locate someone’s dog. They didn’t have enough people at the front to check people out. All of us had to stand there in line for easily 30-45 minutes before we got our pets, and then we had to stand in line after that to receive our paperwork and medications. I did purchase pain medication. I only received enough to give my cat two doses on one day, yet the prescription said to give .3 ml 2-3 times a day as needed. And they did not give us a cone to put on my cat to keep him from licking the area where he had been neutered.
Experiencia negativa: I never write reviews, but I feel the need to share this experience. I have brought many stray kittens/cats to this location for treatment. it’s 50/50 you can waste hours of your life to get a VET like I did today who has ZERO knowledge or like a few past visits get a really great vet who cares. let’s talk about today visit. I have a kitten who eye is literally popping out of its socket, the kitten is extremely under weight, very small for its age. well I took the stray kitten in thinking i would get some assistance, first off they took the kitten back whom is in not vaccinated (i asked them to bring the kitten back in the room) they where only concerned about giving it VAX, and wanted to give a eye ointment that I had already been trying (which is what made it worse and that’s why the eye is popping out of socket) so i explained for 3rd time, no im not VAX A KITTNS WHO BARELY WEIGHED 1pound, I was there to help alive the eye . THE VET SADI HAVW A NICE DAY- The kitten needed an anti inflammatory (doxycycline or something similar) and the good antibiotic. BUT THE VET WHOM WE SAW TODAY wanted to kill This poor kitten. I AM A CERTIFIED VET Tech, I no longer work in the field but if I hadn’t had any knowledge, this poor kitten would be dead. Please know your gambling with your PETS LIFE- I understand if this is LAST RESORT BUT JUST KNOW you could have a VET who fresh out of school with ZERO EXPERIENCE- I WILL NEVER RETURN AFTER TODAY- it’s a stray , yes the kitten eye needs to be removed, but surgery is not an option because it’s too small, so the vet wanted me to VAX a kitten under a pound, give more steroid cream that I explained i already was using and cause the inflammation- she couldn’t care less about the suffering of this poor cat. PPL LIKE HER NEED A NEW PROFESSION. They will refuse treatment if you don’t agree TO EVERYTHING the VET WANTS(do your homework before you agree to any treatment they want to give) I was shocked at how heartless this Dr Was. As if they just wanted the day to be over. I took The kitten to another VET AND guess what the DR IMMEDIATELY SAID the kitten needed an anti inflammatory right away and strong antibiotics, and also needed a good quality diet to help the kitten gain some weight OH and a pain medication to ease the pain- I AAKED THE SECOND DR OFFICE if a kitten in this condition should be given VAX and the dr said under no circumstances,- SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL I HOOE THIS SAVES SOMEONES PET
Experiencia negativa: If I could give it less than 1 star, I would. They have continuously rescheduled my dog for his heartworm treatment. SINCE JULY. There was one time I cancelled due to a family emergency. Their excuse was always that he had been scheduled for the wrong type of appointment, and that they just couldn't see him. I gave up, and went to a different vet.
Experiencia positiva: Spent 2 and a half hours for simply vaccines. A hour and a half was checking out and trying to get proper proof of vaccination…. Very stressful that I was only there for an hour for the appointment but longer checking out and trying to get simple paperwork. Friendly and affordable though!
