Experiencia fantástica: We took one of our cats on a Friday night. They staff was great. They took the cat to be examined right away. They explained everything in detail to us. In an emergency, it's nice to know that BluePearl is so close.

Experiencia fantástica: We brought our 8 month old kitten here after she ingested some plastic from her slow feeder - we had only adopted her less than 2 weeks prior so we were very overwhelmed and stressed, but everyone at BluePearl was beyond kind and helpful. We were able to be helped right away and they took great care of our girl. Dr. Tyler-Jane Robins was direct, patient, and thorough throughout the consultation, and everyone else at the office was extremely kind. We are so relieved that our kitten was in good hands ❤️ BluePearl is absolutely our go-to for emergencies.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Findlay Flasinski (Internal Medicine) and her Veterinary Technician, Kendall, provided exceptional care for my dog during a very serious and complicated medical situation. Dr. Flasinski developed and implemented a thorough treatment plan, with comprehensive testing that addressed both my dog's surgical complications and his underlying condition. Kendall was consistently attentive and compassionate, closely monitoring his condition and ensuring he was comfortable throughout treatment, my dog loves them both so much! Thanks to their coordinated care and dedication, my dog recovered from a life-threatening situation. I am extremely grateful to them and also everyone else at Blue Pearl. I would confidently recommend Dr. Flasinski and her team to anyone facing complex veterinary needs.

Experiencia fantástica: BluePearl did a phenomenal job. I had to take my cat in after she had surgery at another vet and refused food for days. They took me quickly, were very professional and through, and took great care of my cat. After her visit, she is eating, moving around and feeling much better. What I especially appreciate is that they tailored her medication to what I could give her. My previous vet prescribed mostly oral medication that she couldn’t receive because she wouldn’t eat and I couldn’t move her mouth. They provided me with strictly liquid or injectable meds, which vastly improved her treatment. Affordable as well. Amazing job all around!

Experiencia fantástica: My cat was hospitalized for three days, and I worked with two different vets during my cat’s stay. Both of them were so sweet and understanding. While the whole experience was quite expensive (understandably), it was well worth it. They gave me updates (which was much needed because I was an emotional mess). I even got to visit my cat during his hospitalization. Everyone (vets, nurses, and front desk) were great! Thank you so much!

Experiencia fantástica: This review comes to you late but never forgotten. I always think of this place and how nice they were to me. They were referred to me by wonderful woman i know that used them for her kitties. My sweet "Babi" cat was sick from cancer and suffering. They were very nice, understanding, and the services were GREAT!!!! The best thing we could do for my sick fur baby was put her to sleep. I later received a locket of her hair and her paw print which I keep on the fireplace mantel. I highly recommend this place.

The surgical team was consistently available and reassuring throughout. I’m also deeply appreciative of their kind, thoughtful words regarding the untimely passing of my beloved Pippa. Dr Flasinski was very thorough and took the time to discuss the entire procedure at pickup and answer all my questions. I feel like Oliver and I are in great hands under her care and would highly recommend her and her team!

I walked in desperate for Help with Snow White so SAD... She been with me for tha last 3 years in Foster Care... home to home ... The staff was very compassionate and really Helped us out... They also gave us additional references discount resources for follow up care.. the facility is super nice, clean and cozy... They were really wholeheartedly nice to us... Experiencia fantástica: Our cat needed an ultrasound. When we arrived, we were attended to almost immediately. When the procedure was completed, the doc gave me a printed report and took several minutes to explain what the results of the test were. I couldn't have been more pleased.

I brought my son’s cat in with a breathing issue and from the moment I walked in the door everyone was so kind and caring. Dr. Harrier was so patient with our questions. She waited while I could get my son on the phone because he wasn’t able to come with me. He was so scared but had to go to work and the doctor understood this and calmly explained everything to me and then again to my son on the phone. Nurse Anna was wonderful as well. From the moment we walked in the door and she took Birch I knew my grand kitty was in great hands. We found out Birch had asthma, but they took such good care of him and when we brought him home, he was back to his cheerful, loving self. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone. Even while I was waiting in the waiting room, which was very short, I saw how everyone treated all of the patients and owners so kind and loving . It’s obvious that all of the team loves animals and is very patient with their humans as well. Thank you for making a scary experience less scary and for taking such wonderful care of our Birch!

He was diagnosed with terminal cancer and they were straight forward with the diagnosis but gentle when I was asking a million questions. They keep you up to date on what your bill will be every step of the way. They made this part of the process feel easy and made me feel supported. Best team ever.

Experiencia fantástica: My dog became ill and I needed to find a 24/hrs pet hospital. I selected BluePearl pet hospital. Everyone was kind and professional. Dr. Andrew was very personable, he took his time discussing my dog's issues and what I needed to do after his examination of Pooch. The cost was pricey for my income because I'm a senior on a fixed income, so he gave me a list of other organizations that could assist me for a more reasonable cost. This really impressed me because I was presented with other options. Thank you Vera for taking the time to talk with me and love on my fur baby. Overall I had a great experience and if needed would revisit hospital again. Pooch is doing much better. He's been fasting and resting. Thank you BluePearl for all your assistance.

I had to rush my 9-month-old dachshund there on Thanksgiving evening. Needless to say, I was hysterical. They treated me with such kindness and guided me through every step of the process. My baby had to say two nights and they allowed me to come in and visit with him. Every person I encountered from the front desk to the doctors were incredible. I wish I had names but I was such a nervous wreck I can't remember any of them. They sent me updates and photos of my dog via text message and it meant the world to me. They took such great care of my baby (and me).

They were quick, friendly, informative, kind and left my dog smelling faintly of cologne. Somebody cared enough to hold her close. She is fine now.

Experiencia fantástica: I am SO GLAD that this is where I took my cat for an emergency visit and proceeded with surgery. After a few days straight of my boy not eating and vomiting (following him getting into some Halloween mischief - including getting into some pizza and fake spiderweb decor) I admittedly first called Penn Medicine and after being told it was looking like a 4-5 hour wait I then called and headed to BluePearl where we got in much quicker. Not having a long wait was great, but little did I know how fantastic of a team they are staffed with! From his initial exam and intake, to surgery, all the way through discharge every person I talked to was professional, transparent on pricing and thoroughly explained to me what I needed to know to make the best decisions, understand what was happening and how to take care of my boy post op. I mean I was just blown away by the consistency in spectacular service across the board. Kudos BluePearl! Thank you for making a scary stressful situation as pleasant as it could be!

There’s honestly nothing I could say to express how grateful we are. He thoroughly explained Girl’s condition and gave us detailed instructions and meds (without their generosity we wouldn’t have been able to afford ) for at home care, gently warning us of the worst while remaining hopeful and optimistic . It’s been a week and my Girl is dirty, flirty, & thriving!! Thank you a million times to Dr. Nelson & his team. We won’t forget you!!

Experiencia fantástica: My cat was experiencing strange symptoms that my primary vet could not diagnose or isolate which was frustrating to say the least. It took so long to get a direction for his care that I ended up taking him to Blue Pearl’s emergency vet services when he was acting differently. Dr. Robbins advocated for my cats care and helped me to get an immediate consult with their internal med practice to help narrow down potential diagnoses. She was transparent with the potential costs of care and helped me to make informed decisions about what I could afford and not exhaust all of my funds immediately. She also checked in with his health status after we had left, which I thought was so sweet and helped me to trust their practice. Thankfully, my cat is doing well and has bounced back fully. I would recommend their care 100% to anyone seeking emergency or internal med consultation. They also help you to apply for care credit and scratch pay which is a great solution in lieu of paying for their services all up front. Thank you blue pearl!

However, Dr. Nelson and the staff who were there that Monday helped to make the terrible reality of me having to put my cat down so much easier. Everyone was so kind. Dr. Nelson thoroughly explained everything to me and made me feel confident that I was making the right decision for my cat. The event itself was peaceful and calm. The euthanasia room was a wonderful setting My cat left this world in the best possible way. I have been to many emergency vet clinics over the years, but this was the first time that I had been to BluePearl. I definitely recommend it to anyone who needs emergency vet care or any veterinary care in general.

Every option for treatment was clearly explained to us. We felt our pet was well cared for and attended to, especially during his overnight stays.

Kai, at the front desk and Mel were exceptional. Mel stayed past her shift (which I figure MANY staff members frequently do - so thank you) to make sure this cat would be safe, loved and cared for, and was incredibly patient with our questions.

I called ahead of time to explain what was going on and they walked me through what to expect, where to park and which door to use; was extremely helpful in a time of emergency. Though there was a bit of a wait, that is to be anticipated at all ERs. They communicated with me every step of the way and were so kind to me and my pup. They have a water cooler, vending machine for snacks and restroom available. Parking was easy. Care credit available.

Experiencia negativa: Blue Pearl is owned by Mars, Inc- the family owned candy company. They charge exorbitant prices (why corporate regulations are necessary) to vulnerable pet owners. Here is their claim- The company focuses on a "family-owned" business model, driven by a purpose to create "A Better World" through its products, services,” I wish they took their stated values seriously. That being said- staff employed by them are not at fault and I believe do their job admirably- they unfortunately work the man.

Experiencia fantástica: We had an excellent experience here. After 1.5 months of visiting different vets and ERs, this place was finally able to correctly diagnose our cat’s issue. I especially want to highlight the outstanding care we received from Meg, the CVT, and Dr. Lauren DelMaestro — they are both truly amazing.

It was an emergency situation to where our dog had a collapsed trachea and they really helped her. I would highly recommend these people. Experiencia fantástica: Writing this after night 1 of a 2 night stay for my cat who got a urinary blockage and started acting completely different overnight. We rushed him over and they took him back immediately, they looked at him quickly and diagnosed the issue and let us know that hospitalization was going to be necessary for them to treat it. They let us know about our options, financing, etc, and explained the process of putting down a deposit. They were compassionate and reassuring throughout and took the extra time to answer questions about the pet insurance we have. Fast forward to after we left him at the vet, they were calling us with updates and always letting us know when to expect the next update. They are patient with phone calls and questions, and reassure you to call whenever. They even offered to send pictures and said I can visit! I’ve never dealt with anything life threatening with my animals before now, and am a certified helicopter parent, but when it comes to emergency vets I couldn’t ask for anything better. None of us want to have an emergency with our pets, and the cost is always a factor, but for people who prioritize the best and most urgent care for their pets this is the place you should go. Endless appreciation to the nurses, doctors, desk staff, etc here- you guys are all amazing. Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: I travelled to Philadelphia to move my daughter to school. I’m from Canada. My dog is diabetic and blind and was not eating or drinking so I had to bring her in. I cannot recommend this place enough. I forget the vets name who looked after Rosie, but they were awesome. They could’ve taken me to the cleaners if they wanted to because I don’t know any better, but instead they treated Rosie like one of their own and started with systematic care instead of running different tests and blood work or ultra sounds. . Amazing treatment. I can’t say enough good things. Rosie is so much better, eating drinking within less than 24 hours of going.

We've been worried sick over our dog's tumor which we anticipated to be malignant; we came to Blue Pearl with diagnostics from another vet and she came in to our initial consult with a game plan. Experiencia negativa: Brought my puppy here for a suspected paw fracture. The staff were nice and kind, the place was clean and quiet, but the doctor was very rude, and dismissive of my concerns. The wait was triple than VEG ER and the charge was also bigger. I would go to VEG next time.

Experiencia fantástica: I took my kitten to the Blue pearl Hospital yesterday, never imagining he was as sick as he was. Instead of a quick treatment and taking him home, I was facing having him stay 1-2 days in the hospital. I was clearly informed about my options for payment and the staff was helpful with helping me figure out the next steps financially. I was sent home to wait for my little guy to be done with his procedure. The vet herself called to give me updates, and then she's the one who called with the terrible news that my kitten was so sick and that I needed to come say goodbye. No one excepted this outcome. I'm still in shock, but when I arrived with my partner everyone was aware of our situation and they were so helpful. This staff did everything they could to make things go smoothly. The level of respect, care, and compassion from the staff here for both us humans and our furry family members is just top tier. They made a terrible situation more bearable. I'm so grateful and I would recommend this place to anyone. Your pet will be in great hands here.

Medicine is not an exact science for any living being, but Blue Pearl & Dr Flasinski give all their professional expertise and care possible. I only wish I could have them as my primary vet for all my cats, but they are only an emergency & specialty practice.

Experiencia fantástica: The times I have been here, (for family, friend pets and my own) i have had nothing but great,compassionate treatment. I believe they do not want to charge you an arm and leg and will only suggest what they really believe you should get or offer it but also tell you that it can wait. I chose labs when I brought my cat in last night. They couldnt get her blood. Instead of having me wait the doctor explained he felt comfortable that she was stable enough not to sit around and wait and to get the labs from my vet. I came in last night with my cat of 12years being constipated for the first time. The doctor didnt try and make it seem like a life threatening situation... which it was not I was just being a cautious pet parent. I was only charged for what I wanted done. And was out in a decent time. My cat obviously was not happy. She is her normal self this morning, just monitoring her until I get her for a follow up at her primary.

My senior cat, Mo, has seen Dr. Camp twice this year in the ER for collapse episodes - she and the entire team have been so kind, thorough and helpful during these stressful and scary situations. Dr. Flasinski has also been quite thorough with my dog, Grey, in diagnosing and monitoring his ongoing respiratory issues. She is very personable and takes the time to answer all questions and explain diagnosis in an easy to understand manner.

Experiencia fantástica: Took my dog in after accidental chocolate ingestion. They triaged him within minutes of arrival, pumped his stomach, kept us up to date with how he was doing, and we were out in less than 1 hour. Amazing experience. I wish humans had this kind of care!

Experiencia fantástica: Went in because my cat suddenly lost mobility around 11pm, they brought me right in and starting caring for him. They identified that he needed a neurologist, which they didn't have on staff at the time, so they called around and found a location he could be transferred to immediately, and made sure they had all the information for a seamless transfer. Couldn't say more good things about their care, thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone at BluePearl Philly is amazing. My dog is super-reactive and needs to be medicated before she can even be seen. From the moment I walked in until the time I left, everyone was extremely understanding. The staff is patient, and Dr. Harrier is amazing. I can't recommend them enough. They made the entire process so much better, despite the stress of both me and my dog. I hope I won't need to go back for anything else, but if I do, I know we will be in good hands.

Experiencia positiva: Service was great, professional, precise, knowledgeable, sincerely care about animals they deal with and gave me great advice and prescription for my pup with a plan for further treatment. The only reason for 4 stars is obscuring their prices. "Sign here" - no quote, no heads up, you will find out the price post-factum. I work in the service industry and the biggest taboo is to perform the work that was not quoted, and that was the practice in this case. They only stopped and decided to show me the grace of a quote once we started tapping into 4-digit territory.

Experiencia negativa: Not only does this place suck with diagnosing things . Their prices are literally insane. The government needs to step in and regulate prices.This place is crazy. I'd rather my animal die at home then pay $4,000. Stay away from this place. Go anywhere but here. I wind up using an animal hospital in jersey that cost me less than half at what these rip offs wanted to charge.

Experiencia fantástica: My dogs have received special &. excellent care from the staff at Blue Pearl. Last summer twice a week my dog received bandage changes. He looked forward to visiting Blue Pearl and seeing the staff. We visited emergent last evening when once again he was excited to enter the door!

Experiencia positiva: Excellent care for my beloved cat, I’m very grateful to still have him. He’s been through a lot and blue pearl is the reason I still have him. I’ve had to spend all my savings and finally run up huge credit card debt (something I never did) because I couldn’t let him go. If you can afford it, it’s the best for a sick or hurt fur baby.

Experiencia fantástica: Being an emergency hospital this is not the cheapest place to go, but pet owners know that they’re willing to pay a little more for emergency treatment after hours. I have been here several times and have always been impressed by the service and compassion and the knowledge of the staff. They have helped us diagnose and provide a peaceful passing for a couple of pet. Most recently, they helped quickly diagnose a worrisome condition and prescribe medication quickly. I also found that when my regular vet was not able to help us with an unusual condition, Blue Pearl was able to quickly figure it out and help us put our cat out of his suffering while the regular vet wanted us to come back when they had an opening in their schedule. I highly recommend this place and am really happy that we live close to them.

Experiencia fantástica: Yesterday we had to bring our dog Buddy to blue pearl because he was experiencing pneumonia symptoms, and everyone at blue Pearl couldn’t be nicer. We felt very well taken care of, we hadn’t been back since we lost our dog Chloe in November 2023, and blue pearl also was incredibly kind and caring during that time as well. You can tell they see a lot of pets on a daily basis but we’re still very thorough with our pets and many questions. Thank you for all you do!

Experiencia fantástica: We were treated with professionalism and compassion from beginning to end. It was a tough visit due to our dog’s poor diagnosis but BluePearl was great. Cost was “industry standard” which is a lot but they were upfront and stuck to it. Honestly, I can’t thank them enough for making a sad day bearable.

Experiencia fantástica: Our lil puppy goose needed surgery for a broken elbow. They were the only nearby hospital who had availability for an urgent (non emergency) surgical consult within two days of the accident. Took him in surgery same day as consult, and were so attentive to his needs. He had to stay over night and Made friends with the whole staff. Smart knowledgeable and caring staff willing to work with your schedule! Recommend highly!

We got there at 7am , we received care for our doggie right away , he had pain but we didn’t know where was it coming from , he was diagnosed with neck pain , got medications, they even clipped his nails while he was examined , it was our second visit for emergency care and like the first time everything was great ! Everyone was very nice , front desk lady super nice !

Experiencia fantástica: I rushed my dog in for a life threatening emergency. The staff was calm and reacted quickly . They were beyond informative and truly showed genuine care for my dog. He stayed there for 2 days for observations and they were beyond accommodating when I visited him as well as updating me on his progress . Experiencia fantástica: I brought my critically ill dog in for an ultrasound of his belly. Not only were they able to provide an immediate appt, there was virtually no wait time after we arrived. They were very compassionate and caring when they had to bring me very bad news. The Dr even had me call my primary vet and spoke with him about their findings. I'm sorry to say that my beloved dog passed away 5 days later. I'm from NJ so they wouldn't be my primary vet, but I would highly recomend them for their kind and compassionate service.

Experiencia fantástica: We went there late on a Sunday night with a doggie emergency. So glad we have a 24 hr hospital so close. The staff were so helpful and caring. They showed empathy and were very comforting. They explained all the costs and made us feel comfortable with whichever decision we made. We didn’t feel pressured one way or another. We are so grateful for Blue Pearl and its staff.
