They told us exactly was wrong, how they were going to fix it, and what the next steps were. We talked to the surgeon actually performing the procedure. They have also text us twice to follow up and answer any questions we had. They respond quickly and personally. Thank you!!

Experiencia negativa: Took my sick dog there Sunday morning The vet totally totally mis diagnosed my dog . And additionally was rude when I questioned her diagnosis. Monday went to regular vet and they did a stool sample and found an infection. Warning Stay away if you love you dog As you can I never review

Experiencia negativa: I chose not to leave a one-star review because the staff was courteous, kind, and professional throughout our visit. However, I feel it is important to share our experience for the benefit of other pet owners who may find themselves in a similar situation. After several tests were conducted, we were informed that our pet had dry FIP. We had researched her symptoms prior to the appointment and were primarily seeking confirmation and guidance regarding next steps. What was especially difficult for us was being told that no pet had survived dry FIP and that there was essentially no hope for recovery. Given that prognosis, along with the significant cost associated with treatment, we made the heartbreaking decision to consider euthanasia. Fortunately, before proceeding, we sought additional information. Through further research and support networks, including FIP Warriors 5.0, we were guided on how to obtain the same treatment at a significantly lower cost and received guidance on administering the medication at home. Six weeks later, our pet is doing remarkably well and continues to improve. While I sincerely appreciate the professionalism and kindness of the staff, I strongly encourage other pet owners facing a serious diagnosis to seek a second opinion and explore all available resources before making irreversible decisions.

The staff from the front desk to the vet tech to the vet were friendly, compassionate, efficient and professional. The cost was significantly less than I expected and fully worth it.

Experiencia fantástica: I brought in a stray cat that I had spayed on 2/10/26. On 2/11/26 her incision had opened and there was tissue hanging out of it. They were very warm and compassionate. They surgically repaired the wound and saved her life. They did this for far less than the quoted price because I couldn't afford it. This animal clinic is absolutely wonderful and the staff are very friendly and caring.

They took him back immediately and got it figured out in less than 5 minutes!! They treated both me and Robert with so much respect and kindness. Highly recommend this place!! Experiencia fantástica: This was my first visit, and I came in for what felt like an emergency illness. While there, labs ended up being done for a completely unrelated issue that my regular vet hadn’t taken seriously or wanted to pursue. Dr. Darcey and assistant/tech Jessica were both incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. Their soft skills mattered just as much as their clinical knowledge — I never felt rushed, dismissed, or talked down to. They took the time to explain what they were seeing and why they recommended next steps, which left me feeling genuinely confident and reassured. I’m very grateful for the care my dog received and for finally feeling heard. Additionally, they offer beverages. It may seem small, but on a day when you are stressed and rushing - being provided with creature comforts helps regulate the nervous system. I want to thank the ENTIRE staff. From the warm welcome to the education provided at discharge, I feel certain that this team of professionals is treated well by ownership. It shows!

Experiencia fantástica: I recently brought my 8 year old male cat Gumbo here due to a urinary blockage and was discharged a few days ago. This team took more than excellent care of him and updated me every step of the way. Not only are they extremely professional, but they are so compassionate and truly work in this field for the love of animals. Gumbo is doing amazing currently thanks to them and the comfort and professionalism they provided! I now know where to bring my other 2 cats if needed. Thanks to them, my baby is thriving and comfy!!!

Whether it was realizing we forgot a vaccine and needing to get in ASAP before a holiday boarding appointment, asking questions about itchiness, or handling a dog bite that required stitches, they have gone above and beyond every single time. Not only is the care exceptional, but they always make us feel comfortable, informed, and supported—something that means the world when it’s your first pup. The online waiting room is such a great touch, and the text messages to check in on Lucy and let me ask quick questions on the go are incredibly helpful. The staff is consistently friendly, and most importantly, the doctors are excellent and operate with true integrity. I’m so grateful our neighbors recommended Dallas Animal. Experiencia negativa: INSANELY OVER PRICED!!! They will tell you one price to get your pet in the door and when they’re ringing you up they slap on ABSURD add ons at $47 a pop!!!! A simple check in for my cat was $867.46. He was 1,000% healthy and didn’t need ANYTHING. Yet they charged me almost $1000 to check him out!!!! WILL NEVER BE BACK!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Very impressed they made it super easy, and where very communicative with keeping us updated my dog Lucy (schnauzer) was diagnosed with pyometra Friday at the veterinary she needed urgent surgery if not it could have been fatal I was recommended to Dallas animal urgent care by the vet they did surgery on Lucy the next day the whole staff and doctor made us feel comfortable during this stressful times. Dallas animal urgent care was amazing super quick, attentive, supportive, affordable surgery procedure with financing options. Our baby is now feeling better thanks to all the team for saving our baby.

I took my sweet girl in Friday night for what I thought was something minimal only to find out that it was much worse than expected. These nurses , doctors, receptionists everyone here was so very kind , patient and loving towards me and my girl in the most heart breaking moment- I was told my babygirl was fatal , I broke down fully , a young lady from the front even heard me and asked if I needed a hug when she saw me she held me until I let go - they helped put her in my car as comfy as possible --these doctors did everything they could to keep her comfortable so I could bring her home one more night to say our goodbyes . We brought her back in this morning and they allowed us as much time as possible in a quiet personal open spaces room . They brought us a heater , a dog bowl for her to drink from , treats and items to help us say our final goodbyes. This was the first time I've been had to do this to an animal and the nurse walked us through every single step let us take our time and helped talk to our baby in her last moments . While I am extremely devastated and emotionally broken I truly appreciate the staff at this location for everything they did to help keep my baby calm and for helping me in a 24 hr time period that felt like a dream. The pricing also helped me feel like I wasn't just someone to pay a bill they listened to me and were there to help any way they could. I recommend highly

Experiencia negativa: I am beyond furious with how Dallas Urgent Animal Care treated my 70-year-old widowed mother and her dog. For Christmas, I paid to have my mom’s Rottweiler, Raven, spayed because she could not afford it herself. Raven chewed through her stitches and had fatty tissue protruding from the incision. My mother, terrified, rushed her to Dallas Urgent Animal Care. They told her they would perform corrective surgery and keep Raven under supervision for two days. However, because they “don’t have overnight techs,” my mom had to pick Raven up at night, monitor a surgical drain herself, and bring her back each morning. Stressful, but she did it because she loves her dog. This morning, after waiting over 30 minutes, she was suddenly told it would cost $666 just for them to monitor Raven during the day. When my mother explained that she was told this was included, they said it was not. Then they magically reduced the price to $297. When my mom said she would take Raven home and monitor her herself (as she had already done overnight), they told her they would have to remove the drain immediately. She offered to bring Raven back in two days for proper removal. They refused, claiming the drain had to be managed in a “sterile environment” at the clinic — even though it had apparently been acceptable for a senior citizen to manage it at home all night. The message was clear: pay, or we’ll withhold proper care. To make this even more disturbing, they were aware my mother had been approved for a $5,000 credit line, and suddenly unnecessary, inflated charges appeared. This felt predatory, not compassionate. This felt like a business trying to squeeze money out of a vulnerable, low-income, widowed senior who was scared for her dog’s life. Veterinary care should be guided by ethics and empathy, not opportunism. Dallas Urgent Animal Care: Do better.

Experiencia fantástica: Even though the wait was longer than expected it was comfortable. They have TVs in each of the room as well as a drink cart in the lobby. It helped relieve the stress of waiting for blood test results. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: In the last year, we've visited the office on Preston Road multiple times. Every time, no matter the pet or the circumstances, I feel our pet was treated with love and my husband I were treated with respect. Our most recent visit was an initial checkup on a puppy we had just adopted from DAS. Deborah, Jessica, Stephany, and Karen were all wonderful. They were just as excited as we were about our new family member, and I really appreciated how knowledgeable they were about puppy things. I had no idea was I was getting into, so their advice really calmed my nerves and probably made our new baby's life a lot easier. Because it wasn't an emergency, we did have a bit of a wait, but that's to be expected. I would never want my regular, non-emergency visit to come before an animal that needed immediate help. I trust the team at Dallas Animal Urgent Care to know the difference and to be able to prioritize patients so that those who need help get it in the appropriate order.

We found ourselves in the unfortunate position of having to put our dog down over the weekend, when our regular vet was closed. They called after I jumped on their waitlist and told us to take our time at home while we soaked up some final moments with our boy. From Dr Shah’s bedside manner with a quality of life consult (and talking us through the euthanasia), to the kindness of the vet techs getting us situated, I cannot commend how comfortable (and not rushed) everyone made us feel. Thank you for making an extremely heartbreaking day a little less painstaking.

Dr. Stone was the one who we met with on our dogs last day, and I appreciate how candid and honest they are here. Deborah was a saving grace, the most compassionate and sweet person ever. You can tell she genuinely cares and was so patient and understanding as we navigated the loss of our pet. I will always highly recommend this place over and over. Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Weber was the sweetest! She was very informative about everything that was being performed on my cat. She was kind enough to speak with me on the phone as I was not there. My mom was actually the person who took him. She said the staff treated her wonderfully which I greatly appreciate. They were able to get her in a room as soon as she checked in. She also noticed the girls were extremely gentle with our kitty and very understanding as he is an anxious one. Over all it was a 10/10 experience would definitely recommend everyone to bring your lovely fur babies here.

It was the day after New Year’s, and the clinic was extremely busy, already handling multiple serious emergencies—including a dog hit by a car and another that had been attacked with bone exposed. During this chaos, a young girl rushed in with her cat who was not breathing. She was clearly distraught and terrified. Without hesitation, the front desk staff stepped into action. Deborah immediately came from behind the counter and took the cat straight to the back for evaluation. Jalie, Karen, Deborah, Latoya, and Dr. Stone were absolutely phenomenal. They remained calm, focused, and professional while working under intense pressure. Watching them move seamlessly into emergency mode was both reassuring and impressive. It was clear they are experienced, compassionate, and truly dedicated to the animals in their care. I personally drive about an hour to come to this veterinary office because of the incredible doctors and staff. They have always been helpful, kind, and trustworthy. I don’t trust anyone else with my babies—and the drive is 100% worth it. Dallas Anima Urgent Care thank you for loving the animals!

Experiencia fantástica: Wish I could give more stars. Upscale experience at the lowest price I found without having to surrender my baby to die alone. When I called I was a blubbering mess who thought I would have to beg them to see her within 48 hours. They were willing to see her the same day. Other places wanted 2-3 times more money and we would have to wait days. As soon as we arrived, they immediately began the process to bring her suffering to a peaceful end. I never felt rushed and was able to leave with the confidence that I made a good decision and she would be handled with respect. I was encouraged to spend all the time I needed. I will never take one of my animals anywhere else for end of life care. Highly recommend this place for when the time comes to say goodbye. Well done guys! While it was still a bad day, you made it a whole lot easier to get through. Thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: Very impressed by this clinic! The prices are WAY more reasonable than a traditional ER and the staff were all very friendly. After my pup decided to get into a giant box of chocolate, we came here and were seen right away. After they took care of her and ensured she was stable, the monitoring/wait time was a bit long but that’s to be expected as more emergencies came in. They provide basic vet care and emergency and I would recommend them to anyone needing to get their pup seen, even if it’s just for vaccinations. Again, super friendly staff and they don’t pressure you into anything extra.

They are kind and caring people who are as much about the people as the animals they treat. Jessica at the front desk has always been so lovely and will make sure to take care of you when you arrive! Was referred by normal vet when my Koda was vomiting having accidents and acting very odd in a short span of time. I rushed him over. Saturdays can be 3 hour wait because of bad emergencies, seizures, euthanasia, hit by car, dog attacks, so if ur trying to get shots or nail trim, save that for a normal vet. Helps Everyone.

The doctor assessed my pet and prescribed pain medication‘s along with a plan to create her for rest and recovery I would recommend bringing my pet here in emergencies.

Experiencia fantástica: This animal urgent care is well-known in Dallas, and for good reason! My dog is VERY anxious and requires a muzzle and medication just for a normal vet visit. He was injured and required stitches late on the evening of December 26th, and I was SO grateful Dallas Animal Urgent Care was fully staffed and ready to help. Everyone on staff was warm, calm, reassuring and professional. They knew just how to help my anxious dog and treated him carefully & expediently. I can't imagine it's easy, seeing animals on the hardest days of their lives and treating them with such quality care. 10/10 no notes!!

I can't imagine taking my beloved animals anywhere else. I drive a long way to get there (and know it's worth it!). Everyone there, from the vets to the techs, to the front desk are professionals all the way. And the hours are amazing, as is the pricing which is greatly appreciated. They really care!

You can tell the staff especially technicians actually care and enjoy what they do. Prices are the cheapest I’ve ever seen for an urgent care. Their no appointment necessary and extended hours put my mind at ease for those unexpected vet visits. One thing I will say is that they can get a little busy and sometimes have extended wait times due to emergency cases that come in but for the excellent service they provide for my Kilo baby I am always willing to wait and will continue to use Dallas animal urgent care as my primary vet. Highly recommended this place.

TLDR: I recommend this place to literally anyone with a pet and an urgent situation. Full stop. Every single visit, we’ve been met with nothing but compassion, kindness, and genuine care for our fur babies. Their communication is top-tier, and they’re fantastic about following up, checking in to make sure your pet is doing well, and answering all the questions you definitely forgot to ask while you were actually there. Pricing has always felt more than reasonable, they accept CareCredit, and they consistently recommend only what’s truly necessary. No pressure, no upselling, just honesty. The only con? It’s off 635. Other than that… 11/10.

Experiencia fantástica: Highly recommend if you need immediate care. We needed to find a vet for our dog to treat an infection on a Sunday. I was terrified that we would be waiting for hours and face an astronomical bill. Nope! $150 total including the visit and several different medications-which is exceptionally reasonable, and comparable to what it would cost to see our usual vet. We showed up first thing in the morning and did wait closer to an hour and a half, but I also find that reasonable when considering there were some emergency cases that needed to go ahead of us. The techs and vet were great and took an appropriate amount of time to discuss everything with me. I felt like they gave our dog the attention that he needed. We were not rushed through in any way, as can happen at an urgent care for people! I’m so glad we picked this location, and I would definitely bring my dog back if something like this happens again.

Experiencia fantástica: My ridgeback, Jack, is just shy of 12 years old. A few days ago, he became very, very ill (wouldn't take food and was unable to walk.) Dallas Animal Urgent Care was recommended to me by a veterinarian I'd contacted about end of life for him here at home. I took him in without an appointment. The staff got us into an exam room right away. Dr. Kirsten Burtch spent a great deal of time with me discussing Jack's symptoms and what we might do. We got a sonogram and bloodwork done and she found a Splenic Mass leaking blood internally. She then patiently explained our options and we decided I'd just bring him home as major surgery wasn't something I wanted to put him through. They gave me a complete written writeup of their findings and the options we discussed and the medicines they prescribed and what to look for in the days ahead. This was most helpful since all of this is beyond me. I'm grateful I got this work done so I know what my good boy is up against. They are my new vet.

Their intake was immediate and the staff was friendly, kind and compassionate. All service options and pricing were discussed with us in advance, and we had two separate consultations with the attending veterinarian (who followed up personally the next day to check on how things were going). We will never, ever take our pets anywhere else.

I first came for symptoms of pyometrea for them to be able to do same day treatment, surgery and was able to pick her up the same day. Everyone was incredibly polite, welcoming, and attentive, and we were seen much faster than expected. Their hospitality and attention to detail truly stood out, and every bit of the care was worth every dollar. Not only have them received excellent care and recommendations from the veterinarians, but also the nurses at the front desk are excellent and knowledgeable in initially taking the calls. Lane who took our call recently was so personable, kind, patient and knowledgeable in answering all of our questions and ease our concerns. Experiencia fantástica: First of all, let me say thank you to Dr.Weber and the other technicians/doctors for saving my cat! My cat Kitty had to spend a few nights here because of a urinary blockage. My only regret is that I did not take him here sooner. They were very understanding about my financial situation and they do offer cherry financing for those of us that need it. Every interaction between pets and the veterinarians I witnessed was great! I understand why this place gets so many refferals! My advice: if it’s an emergency, always call ahead and register through their portal so you’re already in line. Very thankful to have my baby back home, and so is his brother. I was so anxious about leaving him with strangers especially for more than one night but I received updates through text which helped put my mind at ease. I hope I don’t have to come back any time soon though

Experiencia fantástica: Brought my cat Piggy bank for an emergency visit and the care we received was beyond outstanding Latoya at the front desk I can’t even explain the moment you walk in the door she has a smile is ready to help and is very compassionate you can tell she really loves her job!!!! Vet tech by the name of Joe who took piggy bank to get vitals and weight was so caring with her and answered all my questions before leaving. You will NOT leave here with any unanswered questions regarding your pet. Joe walked me out to the front and made sure I didn’t have any other questions before he walked back. Thank you both for making a stressful situation so much easier. You both deserve all the recognition!

Experiencia fantástica: I've had to take my cat in a few times for multiple different issues over the past few years. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They understand that my cat is stressed out during vet visits and do their best to help her through it. The vets know what they're doing and explain the issue and treatment plan well. They are transparent with the pricing up-front and have never pushed me to get any unnecessary procedures done. They even follow up 24 hours later over text and allow one free recheck if you go back for the same issue within that timespan. There is usually a longer wait time (anywhere between 1-3 hours), but that's to be expected as they are a walk-in clinic. The waiting rooms and exam rooms are pretty nice and comfortable, and thoroughly cleaned, so it's never a big issue. The waiting rooms even have a TV you can watch, or you can bring your own books or entertainment.

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful place. We've taken our two dogs here on multiple occasions for emergencies and even checking in on what could be an emergency. We've been met with kind and ready staff members every time. Our favorite part is their willingness to talk through questions and give honest advice. While in Urgent Care facilities you may often find vets rushing to an answer, the vets here take their time and even value our input. And for all that goodness, they don't even take advantage of your wallet. Medicine is expensive and they understand that while not inflating price. So grateful for this place and their 24 hour after-care check ups

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent experience! We were 2 hours away in a rural area when our dog was attacked by another dog on Sunday afternoon. We found Dallas Animal Urgent Vet. They are open until 8pm. Shaved her wound, cleaned it, gave us antibiotics, and anti-inflamatories for only $153. Wow. And the staff were great. They had several dogs there, quite busy, but we were in and out in 15 min. This is now our regular vet.

Experiencia fantástica: I took my little Jethro in for a worsening cough when his vet couldn’t see us for several days. As a former vet clinic employee, I am so impressed with the efficiency and positive attitude I witnessed here. Everyone was friendly, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Although our diagnosis of congested heart failure wasn’t what we wanted, I was so happy with the care. We’ll be moving all four of our dogs’ care to this clinic in the future.

The doctor was very informative and took the time to explain everything clearly. They cared for my puppy Bella after she was hit by a car and showed her very attentive care. They were able to diagnose bruising along the lungs and fluid buildup, and they provided a clear care plan to help her recover. Their prices were also very reasonable. I highly recommend this clinic.

Experiencia fantástica: I have brought my dog Jake here three times. Every time they have been amazing!! My Jake is a big boy, who hates going to the vet, so he can be difficult to work on. Dr. Smith did amazing and took the time to fully explain every issue and every option. Garrett was so kind and patient with all of my questions, and helped me to leave feeling confident, because of the time he took to talk through everything with me. Brenna was so sweet and went above and beyond to make sure Jake felt safe and loved. Brenna sat with him on the floor and gave him all the snuggles the whole time he was back there. Every staff member I interacted with from check in to check-out was so kind and helpful. They provided everything I needed to care for her at home and gave me so much information about treating her condition. Went in today for a recheck, and she is completely free of eye ulcers! HUGE shoutout to Dr. Burchett and Paloma for being exceptional at their jobs, they were both so kind, thorough, and informative. They were very compassionate, kind, and efficient. It was an unexpected surgery so I was so happy they were able to do this at an affordable price. I want to give a very special shoutout to Latoya. I was emotional upon arrival and she comforted me and made me feel so much better about the day. She gave us serious white glove service and I can’t thank her enough for providing such great customer care. I will go here for all future emergencies and appointments. Thank you Dr. Hayden & team. Experiencia fantástica: My cat Aladdin ate some string it went from his colon to his tongue. It was so scary for me and my family. I’m a broke college student and divorced mom so I didn’t know what I was going to do after the cray confirmed my cat does have the string cutting off two sections of his intestines. The clinic gave us some options and got us hooked up with cherry that covered half and me and my mom came up with the rest thankfully. They even let us take my cat home to rest with us over night and bring him back the next day after surgery to recover and get fluids. I’m sure that saved me a lot of money so I appreciated those things to keep my cost down. It ended up costing me about 4,000 for the surgery and meds. He recovered just fine.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Dominique Basel was fabulous. I came with no appointment for a very sick dog. She gave me several options of treatment. I told her my thoughts but asked what she would do if it were here dog. She backed up my decision. This was very comforting. I chose an option, they gave me an estimate and then began the treatment plan. When she came back in- she had decided we didn’t need the extra bloodwork. So many others would have done it anyway to run up costs. I truly respect that degree of honesty. I wish she worked at this Preston Rd location full time and I’m considering following her to her location bc she is THAT good. The woman running the front desk was like a brilliant air traffic controller on a busy Saturday when the doors to the office were blocked by customers of another business. Yes- I was there 3 hours. But they were busy. I had no appointment. They got me in a room within 15 minutes so my sick boy could rest easy in a private space. I’m grateful ! Buddy is recovering from pneumonia.

They provide waitlist/view queue option so you know exactly where you are in line. Dr. Hayden and the whole team from check in through follow up has been amazing. Our concerns were heard and our questions were answered clearly. They provided a plan of care and transparent pricing before any interventions were performed. Dr. Hayden and the team texted us the day after to provide further information from x-rays and check and see how my cat was doing. It’s clear that they care about their patients. Experiencia fantástica: This was my first visit with my baby, unfortunately i got turned down by 5 clinics and Dallas Urgent was the only clinic to put a brightness in my heart! I took my baby in for an illness and was seen less than an hour. This clinic and staff are OUTSTANDING. To go home knowing what was wrong with my baby was such a relief! It’s upsetting most clinics don’t allow walk-ins but this clinic DID! I will absolutely recommend this place for anyone in need of a Doctor. Prices are affordable; Staff makes you feel at home ; most of all they WILL do everything in their power to take care of your baby! This place saved my baby’s life/health; although he had no appetite still but he’s just a boujee/picky eater! If i could i’d give them more than 5 stars. Experiencia fantástica: Extremely impressed!!! Wow. What a difference excellent customer service makes. The staff is high spirited, happy, and it feels like they all love their jobs. The process from start to finish had excellent communication and care. I had to go in for an emergency surgery for my husky. I only had to wait 5 min before the doctor saw us. She gave me a high vs low cost estimate before proceeding with the surgery, and was honest about "absolute needs" with add on services. She did not try to push me into adding on extra services which I appreciated so much.To my surprise, the surgery cost was reasonable and it ended up being on the low estimate! I had to drop my dog off in the morning, and was so happy to know that she wouldn't be left in a kennel all day waiting for surgery. A staff member was present with her 24/7. The surgery itself went very well, they texted me throughout the whole process. My husky girl is already feeling better next day. Im so impressed with the staff, clean facility, prices, and just the overall organized experience. I'm switching here as my primary vet!!!

Experiencia negativa: Very bad experience with this clinic! I picked up a cat that was ran over on the road right in front of me. He was bleeding from his mouth very badly, and i couldn’t leave him there to die. This clinic was closest from that location, and when i came in and told them a cat is dying, the only question they asked me was: will you be financially responsible for this cat? I said: No, it’s not my cat, but can you help him somehow? They said we are sorry, we don’t help animals that you can’t pay for. OMG!!! All they care is money! They didn’t even offer to scan for a microchip, what if he has owner who would gladly pay for his treatment?! They told me to take him to Dallas Emergency Hospital that was 30 minutes away, and when I told them Im late to my work meeting, and will just leave him back on the road, they said ok, we are so sorry, but we can’t help him. Of course I didn’t leave poor baby to die on the road, but these people only care about money, nothing else. Please don’t trust clinics like that with your fur family members.

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately was given a very vague diagnoses for my dog who is now deceased. Had the doctor been upfront about what she saw I would have been more prepared and would not have paid $235 for any fluids. Reviewing the invoice it constantly says grave prognosis when that WAS NEVER SAID. She literally talked in circles and I had to talk to the tech/assistant because she never even came back to check on us after the initial discussion. She said she would let me think and come back - never did. The tech after expressing my confusion several times finally told me “if it were my dog I would euthanize him today” that was the closest thing I got to GRAVE PROGNOSIS. Doctor was SARA ROBERTS. Very sad and not satisfied. The least you can do is be clear and honest about the assessment. Thank God for deferment because I took my baby home and he passed peacefully this am. Two stars are for the tech because she was honest, sweet and basically did the Doctors job!

Experiencia fantástica: This facility does a good job. They manage their time exceptionally well. My dog was attacked and I came in on a busy Saturday. I didn’t have to come in and wait, instead I was called when there was a 30 minute window of a room opening up. Which was very convenient. Once I arrived, I was seen within a short amount of time. Then once we were seen, the doctor and nurse did not waste any time. They examined my dog and gave me adequate estimates. I told them my budget, adjustments were made, and they worked with me to get my dog taken care of. Once the decision was made on what course of action we would be taking, they operated immediately. This review is a bit premature, but I am assuming my dog’s ear will heal. Overall my expectations were exceeded. Thank you Also, Monica is upset now, but hopefully she will thank you in 2 weeks.

I was refferd here from our vet he had stones in his bladder and they took the time to explain everything from the moment we stepped into the building to us walking back out with our baby after his surgery. My Rooster is doing well and is home reasting. The wait at the time was long but they do offer hot beverages since the building is so cold.

(I was never into redundancy.. why say Here Rover or Spot.. just "Aqui"!. These kind and loving souls assisted "Aqui" to such a loving and peaceful transition to the "other side of the Rainbow Bridge" and I cant wait to see them ALL stop running and playing.. All turn their heads simultaneously.. ears perk up.. and come running to me One Day... all four. Experiencia negativa: I had an absolutely horrible experience yesterday at the Dallas Animal Urgent Care (DAUC), the worst with a pet in my 70 years. On the same day, I had a very different experience at the Emergency Animal Hospital of Collin County (EAHCC). My Labrador retriever, already diagnosed with metastatic cancer, was bleeding persistently and uncontrollably from the mouth. The receptionist at her primary vet recommended that I take her to DAUC on Preston Road. At check-in at DAUC, we were greeted politely by the receptionist. I received two texts—one that said that the estimated wait time for an exam room was 30 minutes and another one shortly thereafter saying the wait time for the room was 5 minutes. Things went downhill from there. I waited with my dog in the receiving area for over an hour, with blood dripping steadily from her mouth, and while she was clearly having great difficulty breathing. At no time during that wait did any DAUC employee speak to me or make any effort to care for my dog, who was clearly in trauma. Eventually, we were ushered into an exam room where we waited for another 15 minutes, blood steadily dripping on the floor. At that point, having spoken to no DAUC employee other than the receptionist and the woman who escorted us to the exam room, we left DAUC. I traveled to the Emergency Animal Hospital of Collin County (EAHCC), where we were greeted professionally. My dog was taken to the clinic, where she immediately received oxygen. Within minutes of my arrival at the EAHCC, I met with a technician who took notes on my dog's medical history, and after a short wait, I met with a vet. The vet was kind, professional, and direct. She said that, though it was possible for them to stop the bleeding, it would require sedation, and she was uncertain whether my dog would survive the procedure. Even if she did survive, there was nothing to be done about the cancer and the breathing problems it caused. We had an end-of-life discussion that was gentle, factual, and respectful. I was given time and space and respect while I weighed the options, which were few. And I was allowed to be with my dog as she passed during euthanasia, which was both excruciatingly painful for me but wonderfully respectful to my dog. The contrast between the two emergency animal care facilities could not be greater. Dallas Animal Urgent Care is staffed by people who did not show any care or concern to me or my dog. We only received indifference. Emergency Animal Hospital of Collin County has employees who are professional, kind, and empathetic. They treated me and my dog with dignity and respect.

Experiencia negativa: Don't let the name fool you this is not an emergency room!!!! This is a regular veterinarian that's probably just good for flea medicine! This is the second bad experience I've had where they have misdiagnosed my dog. The first time he literally had an angry bleeding hemorrhoid and they sent him home with some probiotics and now this time I took my dog in for a broken leg and when I got there they told me nothing was wrong with her they let me waste my money and she still has a broken leg!! NOT FOR EMERGENCIES

Experiencia positiva: The staff was very nice and treated my cat well. I’m knocking off two stars because my cat got x-rays of the wrong leg. I was told he had arthritis, but now I have to pay again for x-rays to confirm if that is what’s going on with him. I’m just disappointed that my cat did not get the proper diagnosis that I thought he did.

Experiencia positiva: This was my second visit at this facility and to be fair I am going to give it 3. They really assisted my pet when she had fleas and it was gone in less then 2 days. So yesterday I went only because she needed a rabies vaccine I typically go to the vaccine clinic but have been working on Saturdays and I wanted to get my dog groomed. So I called and they confirmed they do rabies vaccine for 25 and they ask you to sign a waiver making sure she had no medical needs. So they called her back and came back and told me they could not do the vaccine because her temperature or whatever was high because she was excited. Maltipoo's are highly energetic and hyper plus about 4-5 of their staff members played with her before she went back. Then they said I had to wait 24 hours, then it went to a wellness check and then trazodone and gabapentin all to do a rabies vaccine and she was overly hyper because your staff was loving her and my dog loves the attention. So basic medical needs they are good for but for random stuff they gonna try to collect extra. So I asked the lady how much was the wellness and she went back and came back and was like yeah the vet dont fill comfortable. Next time dont have your staff playing with dogs before they go back. Honestly I am not blaming the staff but I feel it was a little scammish.

Experiencia negativa: The actual Vet was great. The girl who greeted us, not so much. The male nurse on Sunday was horrible. The girl who helped is sign paperwork was very nice and respectful. We were there for end of life services and I wish we had of gone somewhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: Our dog, Rango, had seen our local vet twice for an issue with his paw/nail that was just not healing. Dallas Animal Urgent Care was much more aggressive in treating it and caring for him. He actually felt well enough within one day that he leaped off the couch to bark at someone knocking on the door. We waited less time here (not having an appointment) than we did at our local vet when we had appointment times, not to mention it is much less costly here as well!! We will forever just take him here as we whole heartedly trust their doctors and entore team. Thank y'all!!
