Experiencia negativa: Bedside manner of tech and doctor were poor. Appointment was made online to an available slot. When I arrived, was told that doctor was not available due to scheduled surgery and that I would have to leave my pet. When I declined, was offered the opportunity to see the doctor. Pet was examined in the back—not with me. Had 5 minutes with the doctor. All in, $350 of services were suggested. Have had pets my whole life, and have never experienced something like this.

Experiencia fantástica: I went in with my cat having UTI problems. The nurse (Trisha- the tall one) was absolutely wonderful. I’m a busy mom and had had a long day and felt like I was losing my mind. Trisha was so kind and made me feel comfortable. She talked me through all of my options, explaining everything and answering all of my many questions. She was beyond sweet with my cat and snuggled her and took her back for tests. She walked me out into the pet store after the appointment to show me which of the prescription cat food options I could choose from. She even found me a coupon and called me and ran it out to the parking lot for me. 100% this is the type of person you need working for you!! I will absolutely visit this location in the future with my other pets and I will request her as our nurse if possible. She was FANTASTIC!! We saw Dr Hinson and she was also very sweet and took time to talk to me and answer questions, we’ll return for her as well!

Experiencia negativa: Honestly Banfield has been in decline for awhile. You go in for something simple and all of a sudden they need to do 2 expensive tests and add on this and that, it seems very corporate and cash grab. Then they offer a wellness plan that seems great but doesn't reduce anything really other than office visits. The people here are nice, they've gotten better, and Dr Jackie is great. I cannot continue to go here with the prices, the terrible checkin/checkout wait times. And if they forget to charge you for your office visit they call you and threaten to send you to collections. You can't pay over the phone or any other way than in person. This makes no sense. Corporate needs to fix everything about what they're doing.

Experiencia positiva: Having been to multiple Banfield locations, this one is my least favorite. My experience is dependent on the staff that is working at the time. I feel like the staff is very cold at times, sometimes they act as if you’re being aggressive when you’re asking simple questions. I work in a very stressful environment with people as well, some can do with some customer service training. Also I feel like they recommend a lot of testing that sometimes isn’t needed, where as other locations were more realistic and could gauge the severity of an injury or illness a lot better. A sprain that is healing doesn’t always need a 300$ X-ray.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible service , had to bring my dog in for a quick check up as he wasn’t eating for 3 days and they said he should wait till they have an opening. Which was another 3 days. Ridiculous if you ask me. Especially considering the circumstances

Experiencia negativa: Horrible service, wasn't taken until 45min past my appointment time to then be told the doctor was not available and I had to come back 3 hours later. If I was told before hand I would have rescheduled 45 min ago. My encounter with Abril was especially horrible and rude. She didn't even ignoledge my dog at all, she made faces and rude remarks when I told her what type of food my dog was on. Instead of educating me she just made really rude remarks. I will not ever be attending this location and will make sure everyone I know also does not attend this facility.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible service I had an apoiment in 2/17 for a 2:30 pm arrived at 2:10 as usual for a easy check in 3 pm comes and no one still called me puppy while there's plenty of people walking around acting busy. I ended up leaving every time I have a schedule with Kelly is a very long wait over 30min past schedule then inside another hour or hour and half it's is horrible.

Experiencia fantástica: Been going there for 16 years. Happy with all. They try to get you in with the Dr you usually have and if not, they get you in with the first available. I have not had a Dr. I didn't like. Our Bassett Hound likes going there!!

Experiencia fantástica: Really great with our dogs. They love the pets, so it's more than a job. They also have the ONLY flea medication that we have found works in FL. We have a lot of grass and open space behind our house, and it's great to see that our dogs have finally found some relief. Better yet that it doubles for heart worm medication as well. Weekends are insanely busy, so if you can work your schedule out during M-Tu, you'll have a better wait experience. I would definitely recommend bringing your dog in.
Experiencia fantástica: I was suckered into the Wellness Plan a year ago with my first dog. Immediately after purchasing, I regretted it. I felt it was a rip off, easy way for them to get money, etc. *Until I came to this location.* I have bounced around to different Banfields between Orlando and Miami and was never really happy with the quality of care. However, after coming to Banfield Oviedo, we discovered the Wellness Plan was a fantastic option for our two dogs. The employees here are personable, mindful (money wise), and all around great at what they do. Aubrey (Client Services) always remembers my pups- even when I'm alone shopping in Petsmart she approaches me to see how they're doing. They have really worked with me, my schedule, and my finances to provide the best services. I am forever grateful for this location! They allow for the best experiences.

I went to the emergency room the night before on Lake Underhill and they wanted $500 for unnecessary xrays and diagnostics. Banfield was fabulous! Thank you!
Experiencia fantástica: The people who work here are incredibly kind and informative. They have a clear love for animals and will do everything in their power to take care of your pet. Unlike many other vets they will call you with constant updates and are happy to answer any questions you may have for them. They are reasonably priced and are the best veterinarian service I have ever dealt with.
Experiencia positiva: I actually did not go to Banfield and was at PetSmart to get frozen bloodworms for our axolotl. I did however give Banfield a 4☆ rating because I once worked there. It was a good job and I should have stuck with it as I did learn a lot. Unfortunately I did leave due to one Veterinarian. Overall I liked working there and most everyone. As for their services they do a wonderful job with structured care routines. Oh and they don't do exotics.
Experiencia fantástica: I am compelled to share my experience here because I had a terrible experience with another vet wanting to charge $1,400 to treat a dew claw infection and I came here for a second opinion. A friend referred me here and might I say everyone is absolutely wonderful. The front desk staff is so kind and welcoming. Ms Hannah from winter springs was visiting for the day but she took amazing care of my dog Jax and I and explained everything very detailed so I could understand why and what. Dr Rodriguez was so kind and informative as well as very quick to get to solving the issue at an extremely fair price. This is a wonderful vet office and I am thankful to have found one that I can trust!

Experiencia fantástica: This Banfield has been my go to care spot since 2017 with my first cat Luna who was unfortunately diagnosed with FIV. They treated Luna so beautifully. Unfortunately Luna passed after a long battle. but Banfield did everything in they're power to help. Recently I recommended this vet to my fiance for his dog we now share Lengua. Lengua is a high anxiety dog with guarding behaviors who's temperament is relatively unpredictable. We let Banfield know in advance and now they always try to accommodate for Ms. Lengua. I can tell these staff have compassion for these animals. Banfield also has multiple payment options for low income pet owners. I use the dog wellness plan. I forgot the price but its only 30-60 a month and covers so many services that would normally run thousands. Thank you in advance for the tech that did Lenguas intake today, you were awesome! Affordability 8.5/10 Quality of care for pet 10/10 Scheduling: 9/10

Experiencia fantástica: I had the best experience I’ve probably ever had at a vet. Dr. Rodriguez, Bea, and Sophia were so great and the attention to detail and transparency was incredible. They made my dog feel so comfortable, which in turn made me feel comfortable. They checked every inch of her body during the exam and brought up things my previous vet hadn’t even noticed. They were so kind with her, even when she got a little nervous. While I can’t put a price on my pups health, they really put your mind at ease by telling you the cost of everything. I felt that they put her care and comfort before trying to sell me or rack up a bill, which unfortunately has not been the case in the past. My dog (and myself) actually might be excited to go to the vet for once. I can’t recommend these three people for vet care more if I tried.

Experiencia fantástica: I would recommend Banfield of Oviedo to my Friends and Family we have been with Banfield for a year and I really like this Veterinary because when you first enter to the vet area the nice receptionist greets you, and then once they find your appointment they will ask you to put your dog to the scale and they will enter your dog weight onto their system once they weigh your pet, the technician will greet you and introduce themselves, and If you come because your dog isn’t feeling well they will make sure that they are feeling great before they sent them home the hospital can be a little overprice but the quality care matters most, you can even save money if you enroll them in their wellness plan and the plan includes vaccinations, 2 fecal exam and 2 comprehensive exam that includes from head to tail 2 thing that I like from Banfield is that the wellness plan works in the 50 states and that you can track your pet health through the app. So if your furry friends needs a regular checkup or If they don’t feel well this is the best hospital to take them. All the doctors and technicians are fabulous and to be honest this place is a miracle because I took my Yorkie who was 11 years old because she couldn’t open her eye, Once they call us that she was ready to pick up, we went back to the vet to pick her up when they bring her out she was able to open and close her eye perfectly and that made me very happy because when she was having that problem I was so worried about her. Dr. Rodriguez, Dr. Hinson, Dr. Jackie are the best doctors thanks to them they made my Yorkie and Poodle 100% healthy

Experiencia fantástica: My dog and I both love Banfield Oviedo. The staff treats my senior French Bulldog with amazing care. My first visit was due to an eye infection after I moved to the area from Chicago. Mecca suggested a wellness plan and it was the best decision I ever made for my pet. I have saved so much money and know quality care is affordable when my doggo has a medical need. Dental cleanings, vaccinations, parasite control, medications, and general office visits have been so affordable that we are about to enter our 3rd year on our wellness plan. The staff here is lovely with our favourites being Mecca, Ricky, Dr. Hinson, and Dr. Glenn (no longer with the practice since she moved out of the area). This is not my closest Banfield but I choose this location over and over because of the amazing staff. They are worth a little extra drive time.

Experiencia fantástica: Banfield Pet Hospital is like going to a family doctor you've had for years and years. The docs are awesome and the entire staff shines as well. Vetinary medicine is expensive, but you won't feel so bad cause they're so nice! I've had the generations of dogs with them is all I'm saying! Still going strong!

Experiencia negativa: There are friendly people here, especially in the front, but any time a vet tells you “medicine is hard” when you ask why they are giving you a run-around about your sick pet that you are told is perfectly healthy at their visit there 2 days ago, is a place to avoid. Dr. Jackie as she called herself, Jacqueline Marion Narayansingh treated us like we were dumb, brought up a pet we lost that she never treated, and after her comment about medicine being hard, when she chose a career in it requiring people like us to trust her with their family members, we will never go back.

Experiencia negativa: We are beyond disappointed with how we were treated today at our vet visit. We have been coming to this location for 2 years because it was one that did in person appointments as we did not want to do drop off with our dog. Today, Dr Rodriguez was not only an hour late to her very first appointment of the day but was dismissive, rude, and insulting. They have been giving our dog an experimental drug that had not been tested for use after 4 days and allowing refills for over 6 months. When we went to refill our prescription, chewy said that the doctor did not approve anymore. Once we called Banfield they told us the medicine stops working after 5 months and that we needed to come in to get reevaluated. When we came to our appointment, Dr Rodriguez started listing off the side effects of this medication and telling us why we should not use this drug anymore. We asked her for help including another pill/liquid, etc and she said she could give us weekly vitamin B12 shots we would have to come in for without checking labs. Then she said that she would re-prescribe the old medication after telling us it was experimental and had a bunch of side effects!! She would not listen to our concerns or help us with our anxious dog. I don’t think she even read the chart before coming into the room. When we asked about a sub-specialist she was dismissive and said she did not recommend anyone and to just “google it”. After giving my money to banfield and specifically coming to this location due to its high reputation, I refuse to see Dr Rodriguez ever again and will be reporting her to the Florida Board of Veterinary Medicine as I find it inexcusable to not inform a patients family of the proper use of a medication, list it’s side effects after the fact, and then offer to represcribe it. If you love your pet, go somewhere where they will treat both you and them with respect.

The Doctors are Awesome all of them but specifically Jaqueline We Love her. Never change extra or try to sell me things I do not need to my puppy Blue . Experiencia fantástica: Had x-rays taken of my dog dues to him acting funny and they found a tumor on his spleen, scheduled him first thing next morning. They removed a tumor the size of a watermelon from my Great Dane/Boxer (Peyton) mix everyone was absolutely blown away by the size. Surgery went smooth all of the nurses and the Dr. were very professional and kept us as informed as possible. During follow-ups Peyton was actually excited to see the nurses as were they to see him doing great from on recovery! It's almost Iike it never happened.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff is wonderful and took amazing care of my baby. I can’t thank them enough. They treated me with the upmost respect and kindness and were so amazing to my fur baby. It gave me peace of mind to see him in such amazing and caring hands while he was in such critical condition. He’s doing much better now and I owe it to all of the amazing humans at this vet. I was thinking about dropping banfield as a primary vet completely due to past experiences at the location closest to me. I was desperate and needed to bring my fur baby in and took him to this location. It’s a bit of a drive but I did not mind it at all for the quality of care he received. Their kindness and care was refreshing after all I’d been through at the Waterford Lakes banfield location. I love the people here and will continue to bring all my fur babies.

Experiencia fantástica: Banfield has great workers here. They try to answer every question we have. The doctors are very considerate. I know they are starting to use the exam rooms to talk with the Owners and the Pets so you can have some privacy, however it is Still a Drop off so you won't be able to stay with your baby. That should be starting May 27th. Dr. Nicklin does see exotic animals but not all. They don't do castrations on exotic animals though. Love it here overall.
Experiencia fantástica: Love this vet and love the Wellness Plans. We have 2 dogs and the plans have covered spays, vaccines, micro chips, well visits, teeth cleaning, and a few other odds and ends. The staff is always awesome and when we had to put of 15 year old dog down they we so helpful and sweet to my family. They really seem to care here.

I came in for a parasite exam only to get untruthful results and info. they told me my cat was parasite free a week later my cat won’t stop vomiting and i found worms in his vomit. he hasn’t been outside all week so he couldn’t have gotten it after. 50$ down the drain.

Experiencia negativa: I have not used banfield since I left calif. I was not pleased with any of the vets, my cat saw several, in oregon and Calif. But none could properly diagnose her and she essentially died as a result once I got to Georgia she lost her battle.

Experiencia positiva: I've been going to this Banfield for all over a decade now. I live 40 minutes away from the Banfield, and it is well worth the trip in my opinion. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable. I've gone to different vets in the past, but I am always remember them remembering my pets name. I've never had that experience elsewhere. You do need to shop around when it comes to medicine, their recommendations are usually spot on, but the prices in certain situations are cheaper online.

All other band fields around my Orlando area were booked and we're not taking any more walk-ins or appointments. This location took my dog with no issue and said they try to take whoever they can because no one's pet should be without care. That was extremely important to us and because of it, our Nina continues to live. Thank you Banfield for keeping our Nina alive and for taking her in when no one else would.
