Experiencia fantástica: Have been taking my furbabies to Dr. Viz since we moved to Oviedo in 1995!! Even though we moved to Wedgefield I wouldn't trust anyone else to care for any of the furbabies!!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Biz is the man! He has taken care of all our furry family members for years, and we have recommended broadway animal hospital to several pet owners.

Experiencia negativa: Dr Viz's negligence resulted in the death of my dog. Was told to not worry about my dog's liver enzyme levels due to age, but immediately started seeing decline in his health, later resulting on his death. He was a perfectly fine dog before this and his ignorance and inconsideration caused our family extreme mental and emotion distress from his death. I recommend anyone reading this to stay away from this Veterinarian at all costs unless you want your pet to be next. Our family is completely destroyed over something that could've been easily avoided if only they were actually doing their job and actually had the animal's health in mind which in reality it never was. Extremely disappointed and saddened to say the least, please I urge anyone reading this to never take their pet here and even reading previous reviews and experiences from patient his license should be revoked. What a utter disappointment and disgrace to the Veterinarian Practice.

Experiencia fantástica: Our dog was very sick and was not sure if he was going to make it. I took him to see Dr Hines and she was amazing. We saw them everyday. She did everything in her power to help him. She gave him back to us. He is happy and healthy now. She has a special heart for all type of animals. She is very loving and kind. He is not afraid to go there. We have all of the love and upmost respect and love everyone there. Thank you Broadway for bringing our dog back to us.

Experiencia negativa: Don’t bring your pets here if you care about them. Our family have been bringing our pets to Dr. Viz for nearly as long as he’s been in practice (some 40 years). Until now, Estelle, the help at the front desk has ruined this. She is unbearable to deal with and just nasty with clients. I have never met someone who represents a business/practice who is as unprofessional and unpleasant when talking with customers - clearly there’s a relation that’s letting her keep her job, because if she were to act in such a manner at any other business, she would have been fired before the day was over. On our last two visits, we were told on the first that our 14 year old dog was going to NEED to get her rabies injection and other shots. When we told Estelle that we weren’t going to be giving it to her on that visit because it wasn’t the main reason why we were there for that visit. After we said “says who”, Estelle became extremely rude insisting that its required by law that our dog receives it and if we weren’t going to, that she wasn’t going to allow us to see Dr. Viz The staff was clearly told “NO MORE VACCINES FOR OUR ELDERLY DOG” On our last visit which we came for them to check out an ear infection for our dog, Dr. Viz and his assistant examined her and took her to the back, saying they were going to give her a medicated flush and to clip her nails (which they did). It wasn’t until I received the itemized bill for the visit that I read they had given her the rabies injection and another one, all while she was in the back. So, I guess it’s just okay for these people to take your pets into the back and inject them without your knowledge or consent? How would you feel if this were your child during a doctor’s visit? Note - this was a Holiday weekend. After we came back home, she laid down and became lethargic. She quit eating and drinking, wouldn’t get up on her own. 4 days later she died and we buried her on our property. We will no longer be going to Dr. Viz for any of livestock or pet’s needs and if you care about your pets, I HIGHLY suggest you don’t bring them here either.

This office also sees exotics which is great because I have a few. I love they take the time and don’t rush my visits because I always ask a lot of questions.

Experiencia negativa: I’m not one to write reviews & I’m not one to typically complain when a mistake is even made out at a restaurant, but when it comes to my dog… I feel I need to write this review to warn those planning on going to this vet to protect the care of your animal and feel as though you are being served proper care and treatment. I am absolutely disgusted by this vet since this weekend and here on out. My dog has been going to this vet since she was one and I trusted them and recommended them to MULTIPLE friends. However, these last few visits have had me completely concerned, anxious, and frustrated. For starters… the front staff and more specifically the older woman in the front (unsure of her name) is completely off putting and comes across very unfriendly and insensitive. However, I will put a positive towards Anthony that works in the front. He has always been super helpful and friendly. Secondly, they are entirely unorganized. Not only did they lose my dogs records once, they also kept trying to tell me numerous times when I asked what vaccines my dog was due for, that she was past due on the same ones that I provided records for FIVE DIFFERENT TIMES. Oh, & yes you do have to reach out to know what your animal is due for because they have no form of letting you know because apparently their “reminders they send out” go to your junk folder. Which…. THEY DON’T. I tried calling to triple check when my appointment was because I thought I mixed up the dates and was told they can’t see “upcoming appointments” on their end. How are you running a business without the ability to see upcoming appointments? On to my most recent visit— I called a few days prior to get a quote for my appointment and was told $122. Then received a call the day before to tell me actually it would be $220. I asked how it was almost $100 more and asked that I get emailed over a list to see all that my dog is receiving (ONLY THE THINGS SHE IS DUE FOR- also $100 is a big difference for a girl in her early 20’s) and the prices always are inconsistent. I'm sent over the document only to see that my dogs name is in fact completely a different pets name that I have no affiliation to, my address is incorrect, but my name and phone number were there. Oh, AND they were trying to charge me and administrate vaccines to my dog that she was NOT due for. To say the least, I was frustrated. My mom and I called back and let them know it was incorrect and FINALLY expressed our feelings and frustrations (as a normal person would) & asked to speak with management. Who is the owners wife and we were told “they can try but that she (A MANAGER) does not handle customer care”. Okay? So who do we speak to? We come to a common ground with their front desk employee and receive a voicemail from said “manager” that at our appointment the next morning, she will speak to us about whatever has been going on. Come the next day, I go to my appointment bright and early thinking my dog that’s had this appointment for over 2 months scheduled with vaccines that expire the next day. When I get there I’m barely greeted and sense a bad energy in the room. The girl in the front tells me to weigh my dog and I do. The owner, Dr. Viz, walks past me and gives me a strange look and doesn’t even acknowledge me or my dog. I’m waiting 15 minutes past my appointment watching them help other customers and finally Dr. Viz approaches me with a mean face and an envelope that he hands to me. And backs up a couple foot steps and proceeds to use a very loud and stern voice essentially YELLING at me that I’m not welcome back and how my mom and I treated their staff will not be tolerated and that we supposedly “screamed”. This was all said in front of employees and customers. Those who know me, know I don’t ever scream. I simply said “are you serious?” & “okay” and walked out crying and shaking because I was publicly humiliated by a man/ the OWNER of this establishment, who is supposed to be trusted with our animals. All of this could’ve been said over the phone, but I was set up so they could humiliate me.

Another patient was witnessed having received the wrong pet meds & there’s no sense of privacy there. The older lady, Estelle will argue w/ you & when you ask to speak to an office mgr (whom works from home apparently & is drs wife/owner) you get no return call. The younger girls mix up your information & the only thing they’re consistent w/ is giving you wrong information & again, there’s no one to talk to about it. Also, we have never received a reminder for any vaccines our pet is due for & have been late & when I enquire about this, I’m told to check my spam but in the next breath, that I’m not the only one that says this & there must be a problem w/ their system. Records have been lost. This isn’t the worst; while getting frustrated w/ receiving the wrong information & receiving someone else’s quote prior to an appointment, & waiting for the office mgr to call (which she did finally & left a voicemail & said she would just see me & talk to me tomorrow at the appointment) decided to instead ambush my daughter, after leaving her waiting past her appointment time, & IN FRONT OF ALL OF THE OFFICE STAFF AND PATIENTS, yelled at her claiming the staff was screamed at when that was a complete exaggeration & basically pushed her out the door saying she’s no longer welcome there! They never took the time to hear anything from the patients side as to what had happened! THIS IS AND WAS DISGUSTING treating a young girl like that! She was completely mortified ESPECIALLY having the MALE DOCTOR/OWNER YELL AT HER & walk her out. He didn’t even take the time to pull her to the side or into another room but instead chose to humiliate her in such an unprofessional and disgusting way. SHAME ON HIM AND HIS PRACTICE! I can’t believe that they chose to take the word of a young girl claiming that we screamed at her when that was not true! I was frustrated & she said that she understood the frustration & she probably made this accusation because maybe she had sensed that she might be in some sort of trouble for giving us inaccurate information & then sending us a quote that had someone else’s information on it along with a whole bunch of vaccines that weren’t even due yet. Can’t trust that! I had even apologized for being frustrated when I had every right to be AND she even acknowledged she didn’t blame me for being frustrated. I mean, if you knew you didn’t want to provide your services any longer then why not have called & said that on the phone and then we wouldn’t have wasted any time by coming in, but it’s very clear that this was the plan to humiliate her in such a way. It would have been nice if they would’ve taken the time to wait & to ask us what has been going on & what had happened before choosing this course of action. What has happened to human decency?!? It blows my mind, truly, because this man is a father himself and has children the same age and how would he have felt if someone treated his daughter in this manner and escorted her out in front of everyone to see?! Let me not forget to mention the fact that even the dog was shaking. There is absolutely no excuse for the way this was handled. It was completely unnecessary and over the top! They chose to take the word of a young and seemingly inexperienced employee. This place of business was never interested in knowing the way that THEIR front office staff is treating their patients and how they’re handling things and misinforming us, but apparently we are the ones that are supposed to take it and not be able to speak to anyone to find any resolve. Well, I guess, this was their resolution. That’s not how professionals act, let alone, the fact that we’re all human trying to get by in this crazy world. We want to and should be able to trust those treating us or our pets and the trust/faith was seemingly already deteriorating from past encounters with just their front office staff. That was enough to send red flags and should’ve listened to our instincts. Btw, check YELP reviews!

The staff is insanely rude, insensitive, and treats you like you're the stupidest person on earth. Estelle at the front desk is by fair the worst. They are ridiculously overpriced for what they provide and are so unorganized it's almost laughable they can operate at all. I have never been treated so horrible by another human in my life. I will never take my dog here again.

She yelled at me and treated me horribly and Dr Viz just allowed it. The most unprofessional place! It has gone way way down hill. I am actually in shock how someone can be so rude.

Experiencia negativa: If you are active military and need a health certificate for your animals, DO NOT GO HERE. I have had so much trouble with this vets office, they’ve rescheduled my appointments twice because “no one was there’ to do a health certificate to PCS to Hawaii. I called two weeks out to make the first appointment and they called me the day before and told me the Vet wasn’t certified to do the certificate. Fine, another vet could do them later in the week. THEY CALLED ME DAY OF APPOINTMENT, and told me they have a licensing issue so they can’t do them at all. We leave for Hawaii Tuesday. This vets office should be responsible for the difference that I’ll have to pay walking up with health certs vs overnighting them. I’m so MAD. Honestly, if they have license issues shouldn’t they be shut down and not seeing animals?!? I wouldn’t trust this place.

Experiencia fantástica: Oh yeah I am very happy soon as he saw my dog which is a chihuahua he quickly asked me what was wrong with her and I told him the story and immediately he took care of business and my dog is very happy and I am very happy the prices are very good compare with some other places the staff very helpful and professional, I do not understand why people complain about it or it is just because they got off the wrong side of the bed that day but in this office they are very kind and professional.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!!! I took one of my newly adopted dogs here and had a nice initial experience so I brought my second dog here. Everything was fine and dandy until I left without purchasing flea/tick and heart worm medication because I already had. I subsequently went out of town and unfortunately left their medication at home, so I wanted to purchase through Chewy to have expedited delivery and I called this office numerous times and was told someone would call me back until they finally told me they would not approve anything via email and that I had to go in person (and presumably buy from them instead). This was essentially impossible at the time. I was willing to look past this since the vet was so nice but then I purchased pet insurance for my dogs and the pet insurance company made numerous request to obtain vet records from them. After I saw these request were going unanswered, I called them to see what was going on and they even refused to send my pet insurance company medical records. This vet is RIDICULOUS and has even more ridiculous policies. Nice vet but please go elsewhere to a place that is willing to work with you to truly protect your pets no matter what. Needless to say, even though it will cost me money, I will not be retuning here nor bringing any future pets here. I would advise others to look elsewhere.

Years ago he was the only vet that actually traveled to my home to help a very sick pig at my home, he cared for that pig for the next 20 years. He also has cared for my goat, 3 dogs and cats over 25 years. Great place .

This was my 2nd critical trip to Dr. Viz, the first was with my beloved Jack Russell who had been mauled by a boar hog and Dr. Viz miraculously saved his life. This week was much more somber as Chaos suddenly became ill and ultimately, we had to say our goodbyes in his animal hospital. Dr. Viz and his staff were patient and caring, the bedside manner was a 10-star allowing our family time to grieve. I've known Dr. Viz for over 20 years, he's a straight shooter and very compassionate. Our entire family are grateful to him and his amazing staff for being there when we needed them the most <3

Experiencia positiva: Small, intimate facility with all veterinary services including boarding. Easy access just off Broadway in Oviedo. The Doctor is great with animals and their owners, too.

Experiencia negativa: Dr. Viz is awesome but his front staff is lacking- they are not knowledgeable on anything. I get misquoted often, always put on hold because they are “not sure”. Super disappointing because it’s a poor reflection on a good vet.

Experiencia positiva: Dr Viz is amazing, however it is time for the masks to be removed. They are rude and disrespectful if you walk-in to pick up medication. I went in today to pick up medication a lady was at the desk I walked to the other side of the room, more than 6 ft away. The front desk staff member stated if I didn't have a mask I needed to wait outside I walked out in 94 degree weather . When the client walked out I went to go in and someone else walked to the counter. She again asked me to go outside and I refused A staff employee came out and said that they would check me out outside. Let me remind you I am disabled and this is how you are treated by the staff. I hate to do it cause I love Dr V but it is now getting ridiculous

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Viz is honestly an amazing vet. It's hard to find a good vet that actually cares about your pets best interest but he is very patient and knowledgeable. Our dog was getting old and it was too much trying to get her in and out of the car with her age and health issues. Our dog was also petrified of going to the previous vet office we had been seeing. He makes house calls which is a huge blessing to owners with older pets. Our dog had already been diagnosed with end stage renal failure but Dr. Viz gave us some options which our other vet never even mentioned and I believe these interventions extended our dogs time with us. When it was time to let our furbaby go, he came to our house for the euthanasia which we greatly appreciated. We're not sure if we will get another dog but 100% will be using Dr. Viz as our primary vet if we do and highly recommend him to anyone.

My dogs and cats have never acted like they didn't want to go in the door. You know what I mean. They were never afraid when we went to see Dr Viz. His love for animals is evident in all he does. After being without a pet for seven long years, the first thing we did after we brought our new little guy home was to visit Dr Viz. Boo Boo loves him too.

Experiencia negativa: Today I give them, a 1 star! If there was a half, I would have chosen that one. My husband and I took our chihahaua TIKA, to PetSmart for a day of pampering. Bath, nail, teeth cleaning and hair cut. They asked for paperwork on her shots and rabies vaccines. Even though she had her updated tag on. I gave the tech our Vets # to verify. The conversation was embarrassing? I gave the PetSmart Tech, our name as owners and our pets name and telephone numbers. Then the tech asked me if there was another name it could be under? Um no? The women on the phone was so rude! I could her her tone and questioning, very condescending. I know we can all have a bad day, but customer service is essential, when working with the public, and the vet assistance lacked this. she stated the owrnerds can get this information on the portal. Wow really. She behaved as though, we were bothering her. We have been bringing Tika to this Vet for many years. So very sad, how one person, can tarnish that image for us. We also boarded her there. It saddens me, to think a person can have such lousy customer service and professionalism! I have referred friends, family and co-worker over the years and felt comfortable doing so. What happened, to the quality service that kept us coming back?! Sorry, but we will be going elsewhere with Tika for future care and boarding. For us price is our least concern. It's about Excellence and Quality Care. Shame on you! The Tech at PetSmart was a lovely young lady and did not derserve to be mistreated. If you don't like you current job and that's all it is to you, get another one! Word of mouth can make or break a business es reputation.

Experiencia fantástica: The doctor and the staff there were great with me I brought in a little Chihuahua 3 day old puppy it was close to death and they helped me keep him alive for a few days longer but I've always brought all three of my animals in and he's done such a great job and so has the staff I would recommend Broadway Animal Hospital to everyone
