Fantastic experience: This Place is Great,super caring,the way they interact,with very polite,low voice concern in their eyes,good vibrations,very clean,We took our poor dog,who suddenly fell ill of end stage liver failure,she was dying in our arms on the way there,they instantly open the door,at almost midnight,rushed out to grab her limp body,put us in a room,talked us about everything,got her stabilized good enough that she wasn't suffering to bad,and consoled us,we stayed there till 3 AM,they kept her good enough till we could come back the next day at 10 AM,to say good buy,the cost was good,worked with us to get euthanized,cremated, beautiful wooden box,some of her fur,plack,ect,And everyone was so sweet,and kind,I was crushed at that point,She was our sweet soul fur baby,And they made her end life passing,bearable,We was able to hold her,and say good bye for as long as We want,You Guys are the greatest,sorry I don't remember your names but Thank You So Much,Still crying,She was sick a Sweet Soul,I Love You,and Will Miss You Lacey Forever,Rest In Peace My Chuggie who Loves Huggys.Thanks Guys,and there Medical,and Caring expertise Top Notch.

Fantastic experience: I rushed my 11 year old Chihuahua up to the clinic late on a Saturday night because I thought she was having a stroke. It wasn’t a stroke, my dog had a tumor on her spleen that had ruptured and she needed her spleen removed or she was going to die. The surgery was very expensive and we really didn’t have the money but we went ahead and agreed to have it done. My dog was in the ICU for 2 days and had lost a lot of blood so she had to have a blood transfusion. The Doctor was calling me 3 times a day to give me updates on her condition and informed me of what could or could not happen. It was time to bring my dog home and her recovery was slow and we were nervous with everything my dog was doing or not doing and I probably called the clinic 10 times that first week but my questions and concerns were always addressed instantly. Someone always answered the phone. It’s been over a month since my dog had her spleen removed and she is pretty much back to her normal self. The staff is very experienced and knowledgeable and answers the phone 24/7. Also, a little over a year ago, my cat suddenly started having seizures and when I took him in to our vet office they failed to mention they don’t carry anti-seizure medicine and it’s difficult to get so after a week of getting the run around by my vet I took my cat to Advanced Vet Clinic, who does carry anti-seizure medicine and immediately started treatment but he unfortunately died a few days later because my regular vet office gave me the runaround for a week, waiting for blood tests to come back, and then when they did prescribe anti-seizure medicine, it was only available by mail order which arrived a week after my cat had already died… I wish I would of just taken my cat to Advanced instead of our local vet because I know he would be alive today. My point is, if your pet needs treatment, it’s worth it to take them in to Advanced because of the care and knowledge this place holds is invaluable.

Positive experience: The receptionist was very kind, and they took good care of my pup. They said I could be with her for the exams but then did them without mentioning it to me and then wouldn’t bring her out until she was done which was confusing. The other thing I’ll mention is their cost for meds was astronomical. The ointment we needed was $109 there vs $10 to order on chewy.

Fantastic experience: I took my pet in after an ER visit on a Friday, and they were able to get him seen for echo the following Monday, which meant so much during a stressful situation. Dr. Degarmo and staff were incredibly thorough and took the time to carefully evaluate everything. What stood out most was the compassion they showed, not only toward my pet but toward me as well. They patiently answered all of my questions and made sure I fully understood my options. I’m truly grateful for their kindness, professionalism, and level of care. Fantastic experience: Dr Brandy was amazing. My cat had a portosystemic shunt and we had to travel from Wyoming to get the surgery to repair it done. Brandy did wonderful at coordinating with my vet back home surgery preparation and helped explain everything to me in a way that prepared me and calmed me. My cat is doing well after the surgery and I am so thankful!

Fantastic experience: My boxer was taken to Advanced Veterinary Care after being seen at an emergency vet due to passing out everytime she walked up any stairs and when she went on walks. She was officially diagnosed with congestive heart failure at AVC after a through exam. This all was happening when our sweet GSP was diagnosed with cancer and was going through chemotherapy treatment. It was such a rough time for our pups. Although a little pricy, we opted to try some medicine to see if it would help our boxer along with changing her dog food. Since our visit, our girl has done a complete 360. She can walk up the stairs with out fainting, she can go on walks again and has so much energy. She hasn’t had a single episode in three months! The medicine is pretty expensive each month but it’s worth it! We have since lost our GSP to the ugly cancer but our boxer is thriving and we are so grateful for the care we received at AVC!

While the wait can be long, I know it is because they’re taking the time to assess and care for the pets that come through their doors. Fantastic experience: AVC got us in and taken care of rather quickly. Their costs are very fair and affordable for services and care. We actually came from another vet that could not help us with a gastric foreign body removal who overcharged us. I would highly recommend and if there is a next time will come here first. Fantastic experience: Dr Degarmo was incredible. She is only one of two vet cardiologists in the state and when my dog had a heart episode they got him in same day. She reviewed all his medical history thoroughly before we arrived and took such good care of him while we were there. Got him the appropriate testing right away and worked with us on accessing the care he needed. She followed up the next day and made sure we got the care we needed. I was so impressed with my experience here and I’ve been to ALOT of specialty vets because my dogs all have issues. I will highly recommend her to anyone needing that service!

Fantastic experience: Staff is always friendly and helpful. They will notify you of your options and pricing before any operation. Plus they will actively give you care options you can bring up with your vet if you dont want to continue to pay ER prices. Facility being open 24 hours is a big plus although don't expect a cheap bill. This place is the first place that comes to my mind during any pet medical emergency

Fantastic experience: The cardiology team at Advanced Veterinary Care is truly outstanding! We came in after an extremely scary emergency situation. We were overwhelmed, emotional, and terrified for our fur baby (a Pomeranian). Every person we interacted with, from check-in to the cardiologist herself (Dr. DeGarmo), treated us with compassion, patience, and kindness. They took the time to explain everything clearly and calmly, answered every question we had (and we had many), and never once made us feel rushed or dismissed. The cardiologist was incredibly thorough and reassuring. She explained the echocardiogram findings in a way that was easy to understand, walked us through what was happening with our little guy's heart, and, most importantly, helped us understand what this means for his future. We left the appointment feeling informed, supported, and genuinely hopeful. The fact that the cardiology team checked in the very next day to see how he was doing speaks volumes about the level of care they provide! Thank you Dr. DeGarmo and Team <3

Negative experience: I would definitely go to a different ER—do not choose this place. My experience at Advanced Veterinary Care was anything but advanced, especially with a “supervisor” named Erica. The entire experience was awful, with zero empathy or compassion from her. I honestly find it hard to believe she holds a supervisory position. Rose and another staff member I spoke with were kind and listened to my concerns, but the overall experience was extremely upsetting. When speaking with Rose, I was initially told my dog would be back with me after filling out her history. However, when I returned to the room and asked to have my dog with me, I was told it wouldn’t happen. My dog was coming in for extremely bloody stool, and I explained that I wanted to stay with her while waiting for the doctor to do the exam. I was repeatedly told no—that everything had to be done in the back. It felt like they went back on what Rose had originally said. I tried to explain my concern and anxiety: in the past, I had taken my other dog for a routine exam and sadly never walked back out with her. All I was asking for was to comfort my sick dog while we waited, yet I was later told she had been put in a kennel. I understand taking a dog back for vitals or shots, but to be told she couldn’t even be in the exam room with me is unbelievable. I expected help and compassion during an emotional ER visit at 3AM and I found neither. (I was also the only owner there as far as I could tell which makes this even more shocking they couldn’t be more compassionate and let me be with my dog while the exam was done.) Needless to say, I left—but I was still charged for vitals, even though I never spoke with the doctor. I was told I would have to pay the full ER vet visit just to ask a question about the vitals, something I was never informed of upfront. Taking a beloved pet to the ER is stressful enough, but interacting with someone who clearly doesn’t care made it far worse. Do yourself a favor and go to a different ER vet.

Fantastic experience: I love AVC. We’ve been taking our two geriatric age cats here over the last few years. We’ve used their ER, Oncology, radiation therapy (I-131), and Ophthalmology departments. Every single visit our kitties have been treated so well. The doctors are phenomenal, and today I was particularly impressed and grateful for the care my 19 year old cat received in oncology from Dr. Kathleen Tsimbas. She truly cares about the wellbeing of her patients and goes above and beyond in ensuring they are handling the cancer treatment well. It brings me peace knowing he is in good hands as he navigates the last part of his life until it is his time.

Fantastic experience: The staff was kind, caring, and took great care of my kitten Soy Sauce who had a high fever of 105.4. They were transparent about prices, and you have to sign something acknowledging the price of treatment to continue forward with care. The bad reviews are shocking - this is an Emergency service and there will likely be some wait.

Positive experience: Great staff. SJ and Dr Erickson saved us from a critical injury accident. Moving efficiently and quickly for treatment. We’d be in a lot of trouble without them. This was expensive but worth it. They are late night heroes here! They also are good about writing discharge info and sending it to another Vet.

Fantastic experience: My dog ate some chocolate so we brought him in. They let us know he didn't eat enough to make him really sick and he might only have some diarrhea. They only charged us for the technician fee. Very grateful they didn't over charge us and my dog didn't end up sick at all.

Fantastic experience: I took my dog in last night for an emergency visit. The facility is nice and clean. The staff is kind and organized. The Veterinarian was really thorough and so gentle when she had to deliver difficult news to us about our dog. I was very pleased with the entire experience.

Fantastic experience: We had to come to the ER with our 7 year old Shorkie at night for respiratory difficulty, first time in her life for the ER and of course her parents were in worse shape than she was. Front desk staff was knowledgeable, kind and helpful. Our tech was helpful, good with our nervous dog, and took a thorough history. Dr Wright was not rushed and answered all our questions and made sure we understood the plan before she did an endoscopy procedure. Afterward she explained the findings and took her time as she explained the four meds we took home. Our pup was fully back to herself after finishing the meds. We have total confidence in all the staff and care received and would recommend AVC for emergency care. Also they consulted with us at several intervals during our visit to get our OK for the charges for each portion of care, before it was done.

Fantastic experience: I had to rush my dog Enzo over because he ate a sock. The staff was kind and tentative to him and got me in and out very quickly! Fantastic experience: I took my dog in for a severe allergic reaction and they were able to get her in right away! They took amazing care of her and were so nice, telling me everything would be ok. They weren't nearly as expensive as I thought they would be, and even recommended over the counter medication in order to save me some money by buying medication from them. Definitely will go to them again should anything arise (but hopefully I won't have to lol)

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend AVC for emergency medical care for our beloved pets. . My pup had a serious injury recently requiring surgery. Negative experience: They charged me $36 for a nurse fee and told me my dog would need surgery and other things they wanted to charge me $600-$800 I went to my usual vet they gave him a nail trim and fluids to wash that nail and said he would be fine and only charged me $35 for a nail trim! I’m not sure if they’re inexperienced or what it is but I am very glad I decided to take my dog to my local vet instead of allowing my dog to go through a unnecessary procedure

Fantastic experience: We showed up at about 2am and they were very quick and attentive to my dog. We originally went to another vet that was just awful and we ended up leaving and going here instead. Staff was very polite, and their billed prices were far better than the other vet I had been at. 100% recommended

Fantastic experience: From start to finish, our emergency visit to AVC was the best we could have hoped for. Henry was treated quickly, professionally and skillfully and has made a full recovery. Negative experience: Dog was sick, took two weeks to get in had us come a week early because had a cancelation. We ran in and doctor I've never met was too blunt. Wife broke out crying. He knew she was terminally ill, sent to emergency hospital. Please pick a veteran that actually cares about animal and you!! Once Doctor Bellnap retired the place fell apart. Don't go to this place, J.K. Cronin

Fantastic experience: We took our cat here for an emergency, and they got him back immediately and started treating him. The vet (wish I could remember her name) was very honest and helped talk us through a hard situation. She and her techs were compassionate and really helped us. The only negative is that they asked us to pay for our service while we were in the middle of spending our last moments with our pet, which felt odd and a little callous. Not docking a star for this though because the actual providers were excellent

Fantastic experience: Exceptional in every way!! We live a little over 2 hours away, and my daughter has been bringing her German Shepherd here for the past few months to the oncology department. Everyone is very kind and accommodating. Recently, I had to bring my Frenchie up to see the cardiologist. Great doctors and techs ALL the way around! Reception was great to work with and was able to schedule our appointments on the same day so we wouldn't have to travel so much. There's not anyone there that ever ceases to amaze me! I would dare say that this place is run better than most medical places for humans! Thank you to all of you there!!

Fantastic experience: My rescue cat was very sick & AVC immediately took Xrays & started an IV & antibiotics. They ran tests to determine the cause & got my baby the care he needed. Negative experience: I took my German Shepherd in last night for An abscess she had on her tail. They were gonna give her an exam And then come back and give me a quote . I told him if they’re gonna do anything to my pet she needs to be sedated because it was hurting her. I never approved any services other than exam as I sit in the room. I heard my dog willing so I came out and started looking in the hallways angry One of the vets came over and asked me where the wound was. I told her at which time I continue to hear my dog yelping an hour later they came back in and told me that I owe them $476.38 And tell me what treatments they had provided never once did I approve the treatment other than the exam. So now I would be forced to pay the 476 before I can get my pet back. I feel like I was extorted and they did. I say place with my pet and didn’t care what I thought or let me have a He say so in her treatment

Fantastic experience: Competent, responsive, kind. Took care of my pup with pancreatitis and hemorrhagic gastritis. I’m so grateful that they’re open for emergencies. This is my dog’s second after hours admission to AVC. The first one was years ago after she got attacked at the dog park. Both times, she received great care, and, most importantly, got better. Staff is ready to answer questions, get the doctor, or care team on the line.

Fantastic experience: Honestly my visit to AVC was great my puppy Deja had blood in her stool and it was all watery I called around to 4 different Vets within Salt lake who wanted at least a 300 deposit just to see my dog! I got my puppy in, looked at, a parvo test, fluids and a IV, and medicine for supportive care for around the same price the staff was caring and compassionate I’ve came here for a few years with my parents dogs and wasn’t disappointed by prices especially with the cost of living nowadays

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY, and don’t need urgent care. Me and my puppy waited four hours just to be told that he needs to be out to sleep but they wanted an extra 1300, for 9lbs to be put to sleep. They took forever getting the meds he needed. They wouldn’t do anything until we were being discharged. For him to be hospitalized it had to be 3000$ upfront.

Fantastic experience: We took Brookie to AVC when she was 6 months old after she got accidental electrocution. AVC took care of her for in the ICU. They were very compassionate and they were very accommodating with updates, especially for worried parents. Negative experience: I was referred to AVC for my dog’s serious health issue, and the experience was awful!! They had her pathology results for over a week but only called the day of our appointment to question if we should even be seen there. I was told to keep my appointment time and they would still see us with the ER vet. My dog was in severe pain, yet we waited 45 minutes in the lobby, another 20 in triage and over 2 hours in an exam room before a vet even saw her. No one examined her properly, communication was BEYOND poor, and updates were vague and unhelpful. The lack of compassion, urgency, and respect was shocking. Not to mention, my bill was $900. I will never return to this clinic. I would encourage everyone else to do the same, do NOT waste your time!!!

Negative experience: We understood when we adopted our cat, Stella, that there was more involved than just feeding her and giving her water. There was also a medical responsibility. We have kept up on all her vaccinations and wellness checkups. After having her as part of our family for over 10 years she became ill. Excessive meowing and vomiting. It was a Sunday evening and our regular veterinarian, Dr. Charles Gold who has been our family’s vet for over 25 years, was out of town. We decided that she should been seen immediately. We went to Advanced Pet Care in Salt Lake City, Utah. Stella was taken to the back for triage after approximately 15 or 20 minutes. We waited for 2 – 2 1/1 hours for someone to come and give us any idea of what might be wrong with her. All we told was that she was very dehydrated and they were giving her fluids. Her stomach seems to be uncomfortable and she was constipated. Stella was given a blood test and it showed that her kidney enzymes we a bit elevated. We were told that she would need IV fluid therapy through the night and we “must” leave her there as we would not be able to care for her at home. The doctor also wanted to take an x-ray which we okayed. Now it’s Monday morning and we have yet to have a phone call or any communication from AVC. I finally called at about 8:00. I had to leave a message for the doctor. She called a few hours later. Now Stella would need an ultra sound. Her fluid levels were better but we really needed to leave her overnight again. We told the staff and the doctor that we wanted to take her home. We didn’t want Stella alone in a cage being poked and prodded but they insisted. Tuesday morning, we called at 6:00 and told the staff that we would be coming to get her as soon as she could be released. We finally brought her home at 9:00 to the dismay of the vet. Stella died on Wednesday. For all of this we were charged just under $5000. No surgery. No actual diagnosis. Just tests. 48 hours was $5000. As I said at the beginning of this letter, we knew what our responsibilities were going to be. We were happy to take them on for the joy of having Stella as a part of our family because that’s what she was. $5000 is overboard for a sweet cat that died the next day.

Fantastic experience: The doctor and his staff took very good care of my dog. She had to have two knee surgeries. And they also did other things I didn't ask for but were very much appreciated like checking up on other little issues that she had on her skin and taking a second x-ray of the knee she had surgery on in April. I personally appreciate how on top of everything they were. I'm very grateful to the surgeon for being able to give me my dog back. Since my last review which was back in 2018, I have been to this clinic again twice for two other major problems with my dogs. Again they are excellent specialists and they are excellent caregivers. 9/13/2025

Fantastic experience: AVC provided excellent care to my dog when she got into a new package of Apoquel chewable tablets and ate all 30 of them. I was so scared for her, and worried that the long hold time on the ASPCA Poison Control line (which I needed to call to establish a case number so that the vets could confer with them) was going to delay her care to a dangerous degree. I was especially upset when they were only able to find one and a half tablets after inducing vomiting. But they successfully flushed it out of her system with no signs of damage to her heart, liver, or kidneys. She needed to stay two nights while they provided continuous heart monitoring and did blood work a total of 3 times to ensure she was safe. They provide updates each morning with a phone call, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I was able to visit her during her stay and they gave me as much time as I wanted. They did a great job managing her anxiety with gabapentin and trazodone; during my visit she seemed calm without being too drowsy. And when the costs actually came out to be a little less than the estimate, they gave me a refund with the itemized bill. It was still a huge unexpected expense, but it was absolutely worth having our girl still with us and knowing she received the best care. In addition to the excellent medical team, the front desk staff were kind and so great at juggling multiple people's needs. Huge thanks to everyone at AVC!

Fantastic experience: Our twelve week old puppy was roughhousing in the backyard with her uncle, a 90 pound lab, and during the experience broke her leg. Our vet recommended we take her immediately to advance veterinary care and thank goodness we did. She was seen quickly, diagnosed properly, and treated weekly. During her treatment plan, her cast fell off, mostly because she’s an active three month old puppy and was growing rapidly. Again, the staff and vets at advanced veterinary care did an excellent job of seeing her immediately and treating her appropriately. The advice, assistance, and support provided by advanced veterinary care was exactly what we needed during this stressful time. Keeping a three month old lab puppy, calm and quiet during her treatment period was not an easy task. It would’ve been impossible, without the advice, support, and care of the advanced veterinary care team. This facility is well run, extremely clean, and the staff and vets are highly competent and caring.

Fantastic experience: AVC was the perfect place to bring my very sick doggie. I had brought her in for severe bloody diarrhea and she was taken straight back to the ICU. The vets were very personable, knowledgeable, and kind. The front staff and techs were prompt and also very kind and caring. Everything was explained thoroughly. Every time I left or talked to the vets over the phone I felt at ease during this very scary time. One of the best things to feel when your dog is in someone else’s care is that they are safe and in good hands and I always felt this while Lady was in their care. I had visited during a Sunday morning. If you have a pet emergency I would highly recommend AVC. The cost was reasonable given the level of care and stay Lady had.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Wright is probably the best and most caring vet I’ve ever experienced. She never rushes through a visit with me and my dog and takes the time to explain things and answer any questions I have. You can tell she truly cares about the animals and the owners. I know that her days are busy but she always takes the time to address all concerns. She is diligent, knowledgeable, kind, and skilled. I wish it was acceptable to bring your dogs/animals to AVC for even the smallest issues and not just emergency issues because I want Dr. Wright to care for my dog all of the time. Taylor is also probably the best vet tech ever. She is caring, excited to take care of your pet, and makes an uncertain time feel more bearable.

Fantastic experience: We could see her skull: 8/23/2025 around 1130 p.m My poor dog was injured by someone or something and had a deep and long laceration on her head, deep enough that we could see her skull.......when I got home from work and seen it I knew she was going to need care. I 1st contacted taylorsville URGENT vet care which is a a little more expensive than a regular vet visit but a little less than EMERGENCY vet visits. However their Dr had an emergency and was out so I called a few more places and decided on AVC. My dad ended up taking our dog. He is 61 and not good with technology or asking the correct info OR relaying important information. The sweet girls there were just PHENOMENAL. My dad would call me and I could hear he was overwhelmed and overloaded saying I need my email address, now I need to check my email and sign something, I need to fill out paperwork, I need my phone #, I need to do an application now. I would say ok dad give the girls your phone and ask them to help you and they did just that, then I was calling the AVC to speak with them to get/give answers my dad couldn't provide. I asked if paperwork could come to me via email instead and they did it. Just patient and kind, loving, sweet, caring. It was Jules and Nicole in reception. There was a 3rd receptionist that was also a huge help when I did go in to pick our dog up however I didn't get her name. She is a cute gal with dark hair, brown eyes, nose piercing with the cutest nose ring in it and she was like barely into her shift at around 6-6:30 p.m I hope that can help identify our girl and get her some credit. Then we had our tech Miranda that was sweet as can be. Very well spoken, very informative, didn't miss important little details, sharp-witted, very educated and sweet. Now roll please, a big applause for our guy Dr. Robert Martinez for doing the nitty gritty dirty work of giving the assessment and fixing her up with the right diagnosis. Yes her stay from arriving to leaving was like 7 hours, BUT we WALKED IN, no appt. So obviously the people with appointment had priority along with patients with more severe/serious emergency needs and YES the payment is due at time of service, BUT they will not just proceed with treatment without giving prices and a yes from owners. They also do a lower&highet end estimates that way no surprises at the end of treatment saying oh by the way you owe another $500.. NO FINANCIAL SURPRISES. Also yes it was almost double what we were hoping, BUT the girls did send links to apply for a loan at carecredit and also scratch pay, we unfortunately did not qualify but out of the grace of hard work and God's divine timing we had just BARELY sold some stuff that gave us the $ we needed to fix up our Lucky(our doggies name) girl. At pick up they also recommended/talked about trupanion which is a Animal insurance company. The only one they work directly with. They let me know most pet insurances make the customer pay UP FRONT, send the invoice into them, they look at it, then decide if they will reimburse you or not. Not trupanion if you are "qualified" they pay upfront!!!!! Yes it was a grand we had planned for something else but our pets are our family. I am widowed, as is my dad and Lucky has been my dad's companion, friend, buddy, therapist, happiness and almost even his reason to continue. So the money was worth it. She would've died of infection had she not gotten seen

Fantastic experience: This place was amazing highly recommend them for emergency after an hour care or any time of care. My poor puppy got a bone stuck in his jaw. I tried everything I couldn’t get it out. Found them online after calling different places they had better pricing. I was in and out and just about an hour and what they charge me. I couldn’t believe what they charged. You would be spend more at McDonald’s with your family than what they charged.

Fantastic experience: The vets, technicians, and support staff at AVC are just wonderful. Our Border Collie, Cricket, has got some rather large sores on her front elbows. Our regular vet was unable to get them to heal. Cricket needed a specialist! We took her to AVC based on a referral, and now the situation has changed for the better. It will be a long road for Cricket to heal, but we feel confident that the AVC staff will get us there. We would highly recommend AVC!!!

Fantastic experience: AVC is the best!!! My doggo Simba had to have his gallbladder removed…..but before that he had to stay at AVC a few days to prepare for his surgery. Dr. Brandy Cichocki, Melissa, and the entire team took such great care of Simba! My husband and I want to thank you all so much……they all made this tough time a lot easier with constant updates letting us know how Simba was doing! He is now home recovering nicely and getting stronger everyday!!!!

Negative experience: At the reception everything was fine, the ladies were very friendly, but the doctor took a long time. I went with my newly delivered dog to have her checked to make sure everything was okay and we spent more than 2 hours waiting in the room for the doctor to arrive. After reviewing our camera footage and your pet’s medical record, I see that you checked in at 10:19 a.m. and were triaged by one of our technicians at 10:23 a.m. X-rays to evaluate her abdomen were completed at 10:43 a.m. At that time, there were several other patients in the hospital requiring diagnostics, and because no additional puppies were seen on her radiographs, she was not deemed critical. Her priority level in the triage order was lowered so the doctor could finish with other critical patients before coming in to review the results with you.

I understand how frustrating the wait must have been, especially after leaving the puppies at home. I will be reviewing follow-up and communication procedures with the team, as we strive to keep clients informed throughout their visit. However, please note that our support staff cannot discuss diagnostic results, which is why the doctor needed to be the one to go over the findings.

If dystocia had been present, she would have remained at the top of the triage list, and we would have immediately discussed next steps, including possible surgery. Please know that her care and safety were our top priority during her time here.

Negative experience: Overpriced, bad service. Nice front desk but awful vets. Took my dog there for breathing problems. After many tests and a whole night of staying there they sent her home with antibiotics. That night was 1500. The next day she was doing fine until noon when she started to struggle breathing again. Took her back in and turns out they missed a tumor or cancer in her throat. She was going through so much pain. It was too late they said and we had to euthanize my childhood dog for another 400. Worst experience of my life and dr p was unhelpful and blunt. She was not empathetic at all.

At her first visit, further diagnostics and hospitalization were recommended, but those were not pursued at that time, so our doctor proceeded with outpatient treatment based on what could be done.

When Mimi was seen again on July 9th, no additional diagnostics were performed to confirm a diagnosis of neoplasia. Based on her clinical presentation and lack of improvement, the second doctor did share that neoplasia was considered likely, but a definitive diagnosis would have required further testing such as cytology, CT imaging, or surgery.

We are truly sorry for the difficult experience you went through and the loss of Mimi. We will also be looking into the lack of empathy you described and will be addressing this matter internally with our team.

Positive experience: The care here was very good and everyone was very kind. It was super expensive when comparing to our regular vet prices. Also, and this may be a style issue, the veterinary doctors will call with an up date (if they have time) and explain the plan. Unfortunately then when you visit your pet you may never meet that doctor face to face, which for me as a medical provider is not ideal, especially when the cost is exorbitant. People want to meet and know who their pet is being cared by. Dr Wright was wonderful and an excellent communicator. Unfortunately on discharge both times I felt like our cat should have been observed for a longer period. In addition no one ever called us to see how our cat was doing. One needs to feel like someone is in their pets corner and really cares. Hope this helps improve care for an otherwise good facility.
