Fantastic experience: It isn't super fancy here, but who cares?! The vets know what they are doing, they are kind and attentive to my dogs, and the best thing of all....The prices are waaay less than anywhere else. This is why I bring my dogs. Also, the techs are always so nice, too.

Fantastic experience: I brought my cat Blackie to Sun Valley Hope after another clinic turned him away because of his heart murmur. It was frustrating trying to find a place who wouldn’t treat him like a lost cause. Dr. Watters saw him first and was calm and respectful, then Dr. Oyan did his neuter surgery. She called me after a week not to just go over his test results, but to talk about how sweet he was and how much the staff liked him. That was really nice! They also did a laser treatment to help him heal faster and gave me tips for better digestion and what to put in his food. Everything they suggested worked. He’s not meowing at night or trying to escape constantly anymore. Prices are fair, and the wait time is average. Just don’t be in a rush-make an appointment and give them time to do things right. They’re busy, but they care. Also, shoutout to Dr. Oyen for removing what she called “the biggest balls she’s ever seen.” He definitely made an impression!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Sun Valley HOPE for a very long time. Originally travel to something like W. 99TH Ave & the 202 Freeway and in all those years Sun Vallsy should be very proud of themselves because I have never experienced a negative employee or doctor in all my years with all my pets I've taken for their health and well being. SO - all you people working at Sun Valley HOPE, give yourself a strong pat on the back - you really deserve it... !

Fantastic experience: I got stuck in traffic due to a stalled vehicle in the middle of the I-10 and then I got caught by the train so I was 45 mins late. They didnt even ask why and apologized for the reason I was at my appointment. They were patient with me, compassionate for my loss, walked me thru the process before we began, and gave me time until I was ready to leave afterwards..

Negative experience: We have used Sun Valley for many years with little to no problems. On August 18th we took our Mr. Littles/Little Dog for his routine shots. Their 'policy' is that the owners aren't allowed in the back rooms with their pets so we handed Littles over to the nurse and waited. 2 minutes later, we heard screams like we've NEVER heard before coming from his room!! I will never forget that sound They brought him out wrapped up in a towel because he had pottied all over himself and he was obviously distraught! They then labeled him the 'Drama queen of the week' as a way to relieve the tension and be funny.....I WAS NOT LAUGHING!!! Before this visit Mr. Littles was your typical chihuahua that got zoomies and wanted constant belly rubs. What we got back was a dog that couldn't even jump up on the bed or couch anymore. He couldn't roll over because he was in so much pain. All he does is circle aimlessly and pant like he just ran a complete marathon! His whole demeanor changed for the worse. We couldn't even hold him or snuggle with him because he would yelp out of either terror or utter pain! We did take him to Pearl because they are 24/7 and were open on a holiday weekend and spent another $1200 for blood work (which told us nothing) a hydration pack and some pain meds to take home to administer as needed. We have done all we can to keep him comfortable and happy through this untimely event but ultimately we already know we will never get out Little Dog back the way he was. I say all this because I warn any current or future patients, MAKE SURE YOU STAY WITH YOUR PET AT ALL TIMES INSIDE THIS OFFICE!!!!! This could have completely been prevented had they just let one of us hold him while administering the shots!!! I understand to a point why they have a "policy" in place but not all pets are the same!!!!! Some need extra attention or care than others!!! Forever in our hearts we will miss you Mr. Littles RIP 9/4/2025

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best vet we have found in the city. Prices are wonderful. They are gentle even with very large dogs. My 130 lbs Rottweiler is not the nicest. She is aggressive and doesn't like new people. Somehow they cut her nails and did her anal glands without having to be sedated. They were fast and wonderful

Fantastic experience: If I could write a review for every interaction I have ever had I would do it ten times over. This veterinary office is genuinely the kindest group of employees I have ever interacted with and I have been greeted by different staff every time so it truly speaks volumes. I have a 5 year old dog who is scared of everything but not this office, and my new kitten is in their care now as well and I genuinely couldn't have picked a better place. They are open and honest about pricing before charging or proceeding with the plans. Affordable even in economic struggle in the US right now. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

Fantastic experience: Expect to wait, it's hard to get an appointment and once you do I generally spend about 30 minutes waiting after my appointment time. Tech appointments are pretty fast though. The staff is always super friendly and the vets are great. They do not sell you on unnecessary items like some other vets offices. Prices are very affordable.

Fantastic experience: Staff is so friendly and caring. I trust them with my baby. They answer any and all questions and make me feel as if they really care about my sweet boy. Prices are fair for the services, and there is an APP that makes it easy to request appointments or med refills. They are absolutely amazing!!

Negative experience: I have been going to Sun Valley for 3 times. My Maltese got a groom on Friday and by Saturday afternoon she had a red ear and scratching it and whimpering from the pain. Holiday weekend this vet was not open on Monday. Went in Tuesday am to get ear drops or get a prescription and they would not even help me. . Told me I could get in July timeframe. I felt this was terrible. The vet assistant could have come out to see Zoe’s ear and let me buy drops or get the prescription. I will never return as I feel that this was all about making money. They call themselves a hospital but they turn away treatment if you need something for your fur baby. Find a vet who cares because this one sure doesn’t.

Fantastic experience: I brought our Havaneese dog Pinto (white/black) to bring all his vaccinations "current." Pinto, who is 12 years old, had never been at the Sun Valley Hope Animal Clinic before, seemed "comfortable and happy." After he received his vaccinations, he decided to do his business in the clinic area. It was embarrassing, but the staff told me it was okay because it was a sign of him being at "ease and happy." I want to think the staff for a "great experience " for my first time there at the clinic.

Fantastic experience: My mom took my dog in for me, and had a very positive experience. My dog is a rescue, and was very scared. Even though she was barking a lot they we're very patient with her. She said Dr. Bob is awesome!

Fantastic experience: So far I have had an excellent experience. The offices, bathrooms, and sitting areas are clean and calming. The entire staff is friendly, kind, intelligent, and professional. They definitely know what they’re doing.

Fantastic experience: My fur bby was very ill and they said that I needed a appointment in order to have er seen but the vet herd me out wen I said how sick she was and they took us n checked her n fixed my bby they are very kind and helpful now n in a week my bby was back 2 her playful self very thankful for sun valley n the team

Fantastic experience: Let me preface this by saying I LOVE this vet. She is the sweetest person/doctor I have dealt with, and wish there were more like her for us humans. She is always friendly, kind to my dogs, and really listens about my concerns... And sometimes there are a lot because I have 3 seniors. However... Getting in to see her is extremely hard. They are booking 3+ weeks out in advance, and don't prioritize concerning requests by allowing at least 1-2 walk ins per day, or getting you in within even a week if it is something very concerning, but not enough to be an emergency. Please be prepared to have a 2nd vet as a backup that you can take your pets to, because if for an example you see a lump growing on your dogs tongue, you better wait a month or find somewhere else to go. Every other vet I called was about $10 more for a visit (some offered a free initial visit), and the latest date to be seen from the several I called was FOUR DAYS. I understand they are busy, but if you can't/won't allot for a visit that really can't wait a month, then staffing issues need to be reassessed. I am more than happy to pay more money for a visit, if that means it'd go towards an additional vet in the office, even if it is part time for christs sakes. Front desk is of no help. They sit there silent while you ask why you have to wait a month to see the vet for a growth on your senior dogs tongue. She is about to be 12... this is concerning. She's not a human, she can't tell me if it is bothering her. In any case, if you can wait 3+ weeks to see this vet, she is a fabulous option; however, I'd recommend a 2nd vet to help address anything concerning, because while I love Dr. Sosnow, waiting to see her is like a Canadian waiting for surgery.

Fantastic experience: The vet is so caring and personable. My dog loves going there. The staff always follows up the next day with any illness visits, and after vaccinations to see how my pet is doing. I'm so grateful for the reasonable rates. I travel beyond the area I live in that has many other vet clinics to choose from because the care here is absolutely outstanding, courteous and exhibits true love of pets.

Fantastic experience: My dog needed surgery (tumor on her gums and dental work) and I cannot say enough positive things about this place. From start to finish, they were professional, kind and accommodating. Communicated so well, took the time to listen and explain things to me. Everyone at their front desk as well as every last person I came in contact with there was helpful and friendly every step of the way. Shout out to Dr. Oyan, Jenna, Victoria, Betty, Shannon and anyone else’s name I’m forgetting or didn’t catch. Everyone there works so hard and shows such a commitment to what they do, you can tell they truly love the animals and care. Thank you guys for taking an otherwise very stressful and scary circumstance of my dog needing this procedure and making it as pleasant and smooth as possible. I appreciate it so much!!!

They helped me put to rest my best friend Mary Jane and they also helped me put to rest my lovely, beautiful Blu. Even though it seems like yesterday, she passed in June of 2023 with the help of the staff at Sun Valley Hope Animal Hospital. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do in my life, even the doctor that put Blu to rest was in tears. The staff were very comforting, professional and loving during this time. Fantastic experience: If you need a vet clinic that cares and doesn't ask for the equivalent of a down payment on a house in return, this is it. Rio is neurodivergent and not always easy to handle. My sister referred me to this clinic and, while there was a wait to get in, it was worth every bit of time waiting and money spent. The team at Sun Valley Animal Hospital were the most compassionate, caring, wonderful team and took the best care of my boy. He got his ears cleaned out and some allergy medication and he was finally able to get a good day of rest after being so itchy. I won't take my boy to just anyone given he can be hard to handle at times, but I'm so grateful for this clinic and their team today. The prices were also so easy to stomach compared to less caring places. Thank you all again.

Fantastic experience: I was bringing in my 10 year old Gracie for her 1st appointment. I adopted her in August. I have been here prior with 2 other dogs who have passed. You must understand they are a very high demand practice due to their fees being much lower than other vet hospitals, so book your appointments in advance. But you won't be disappointed in the value you receive from such kind and knowledgeable practitioners.

Fantastic experience: Sun valley hope it’s a great place to take your four legged family members. I first dealt with them when I had to take my 13yr old dog to be helped to go to rest asleep , the vet and staff gave me time to be with him while he fell asleep and even cried with me. They made a paw print for my family to remember him by. I just took my other 2 ,4 legged kids to get vaccinated and they called me 24 hours later just to check in on them to make sure they were doing fine after the vaccines. Sun valley hope hospital will be our place to go for all of our 4 legged kids needs. P.S. they are budget friendly and inexpensive as well as loving our 4 legged children.

Fantastic experience: This animal hospital is phenomenal! They have always taken great care of all my fur babies with the utmost genuine care over the years! Recently I began fostering a senior pit bull that was abandoned and found on the streets. We later learned that the "bump" on his head was a mast cell tumor. The doctors and staff really stepped up and did such an amazing job taking care of this poor fella. They performed surgery to remove the tumor, and have followed up several times throughout his recovery to check on him, and offer any additional assistance that may have been needed. I am so happy to report that he is recovering well, and should get his stitches out next week! Dr. Sosnow, and Dr. Casida thank you for everything! Also, an extreme and most sincere thank you to Kayla. Head CVT and hospital manager, you wear many hats there, and truly make quite the impact on so many lives! You have held my hand through all of this, and because of you, this dog has a better quality of life, and will for many years to come!

Fantastic experience: This office is outstanding, I wish I could give 10 stars. An unfortunate situation brought us to their door first thing in the morning without an appointment. We were greeted with kindness, caring, and so much compassion. They accommodated our situation without hesitation and with the best attitudes. I can't say enough about how amazing every member of staff was. Thank you for being an amazing example of what veterinary care should look like. From the moment you walk in the door, you can feel the love and good intentions they have for all animals.

I appreciated that they follow up with a phone call the next day to make sure my pet was doing alright. I give a 9/10 review due to parking being limited but also location isn’t in the best part of town.

We came up with a treatment plan and I didn’t feel pressured or shamed into doing anything or buying anything. Fantastic experience: I have been bringing my 5 dogs (all rescues) for over 4 years and they are by far the best staff I have ever encountered. I have been to other vets prior and have never felt such care, love and attention toward my dogs or myself. Everyone whom care for my dogs are extremely competent and professional. In addition to a dogs typical care needsThey have all had surgeries ranging from oral care, spay, neuter, tumor removal and tomorrow a bilateral hernia repair, due to full intestinal extrusion. And their prices are very affordable and reasonable.

I have taken many of my cats here and I ALWAYS leave here feeling listened to and comfortable. My 17 year old senior cat has been experiencing discomfort with dental issues and they were able to squeeze her in the next day to get her checked out. They explained everything thoroughly and immediately was able to help her. Just being able to accommodate that alone it speaks volume about this vet. All of the doctors, it doesn’t matter which one, are so knowledgeable and give great feedback. I live almost an hour away from here and I will always bring my babies here. If you are considering this vet, don’t waste anymore time in trying to find one, this is the place. Thank you Sun Valley Hope for everything you have done for my kitties!

Fantastic experience: Sun Valley Hope truly puts Hope in people and pets. I went here because my dog was sick and diagnosed with pyometra. This other vet already took $600 from me and then quoted me $1200+ for surgey. I already spent all the money I had and money I didn't have. And was in a corner with the only option to put my dog down. I came to SVH with an appointment to put her asleep. With their second opinion and actually wanting to save a life. they gave me a price within my means and saved my dog. Without a doubt, these are true veterinarians and heroes. My family and I get to have more years with Nina. I will refer anyone and everyone to this location.

Fantastic experience: This is the only vet I ever took my dog to. They are so nice and take great care of pets. Yesterday, I had to unfortunately have my dog of 16 years put tk sleep. The staff was so kind and compassionate. The doctor was also so very compassionate and cried with us. I appreciate all of the staff and everything they do.

Negative experience: It felt like they weren’t professional and it seemed like no one was on the same page. I took my cat in for multiple reasons. One of them being getting neutered. They said they would have to check him and then make an appointment in the future. I said okay. Then after everything, they didn’t even do anything. A day later I called them all day long. On a weekday and no one answered or it disconnected. It was a waste of my time. Edit: And the receptionist was rude!!! Didn’t apologize for HER mistake and just continued with her “I don’t wanna be here attitude”. Not only that they didn’t tell me that I would have to pay for them to inspect my cats poop. They gave me the container told me to collet the poop and bring it back. When I paid for my visit I was under the impression that it was included. When I went back to give them the poop they charged me again. Felt like a scam. Never going back.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lara Sosnow is an excellent Vet! Her knowledge, compassion and personality makes a visit with her an enjoyable experience! My lil Chihuahua is always taken GREAT care of her and the staff are Awesome!! Dr Sosnow truly cares about all her furry patients. She has a very kind heart. She's a very special woman!! Positive experience: Hard to get to from where I live but have used them for years. Prices have increased but what hasn't. Loved my Vet, common sense gal, educated in Iowa at Ames so she's really good. Hard to get in but worth it.

Fantastic experience: I love this vet! My favorite thing is that they have a dog entrance and a separate cat entrance! It makes the whole experience for my cat so much easier and my cat is so much calmer. I was able to get an appointment quickly and all of the nurses and doctors were so sweet and caring!

Fantastic experience: The doctor takes her time with you she's not a rush she sits on the floor with your animals she talks to them she's tries to make them comfortable before touching them the staff is very busy there it's a small mom and pop shop but people are very loving and I love taking my animals there and they're also half price compared to other vets thanks for the great job guys

Fantastic experience: The entire staff here is the absolute best. I’m ashamed that I have never reviewed them before! They are the only veterinarian that I will refer anyone to. Because they give the best care at the best prices, it can be lengthy to get an appointment And you may have to wait a while, but if you can wait - it will be worth it.

Negative experience: Everytime we go to the office the wait time is so, so long. Apx. 2 hours. Last time they didn't need to see my cat and we sat there for nothing. This time they couldn't get my cats blood and ask to come back. In addition there was communication issue with them medication and the pharmacy saying they never received prescription request. Which caused delays. Oh my goodness, I may have to find another veterinarian. It's already a hassel taking time off of work to bring in your cat. And they wasted our time multiple times. Not cool.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sosnow and the entire team at Sun Valley Hope single handedly gave us our cats life back to us. He was diagnosed with stomatitis in January of 2023, full mouth extraction of ALLL of his teeth in July of 2023 and still suffered extreme pain after. The vet we went to told us there was nothing more that they could do for us so they referred us to SVH. After a thorough consultation and appointment, she prescribed us a simple medication that solved all our problems. Henry has been pain free since we saw them in October and I am just so so so grateful that they gave us more time with him, less pain and an overall happier, healthier companion. I am eternally grateful and would recommend them to anyone

Fantastic experience: The staff genuinely care about the animals in their care. All of the staff that we've met have always been helpful and friendly. My girls were just tiny pups and afraid at their first visit and now a few months later my girls are so excited to see the staff. They've built that trust with my girls. I would highly recommend Sun Valley Hope Animal Hospital for all furbaby needs.

Fantastic experience: I have taken my Dogs to Sun Hope and its previous incarnations since 1995. Great staff, reasonable prices and they always seem to be able to fit your pet into the schedule..I left the country in late July 2023 and asked the Vet to find a good home for My Lily, a beautiful white/yellow whippet/ Lab mix?. I returned unexpectedly ( not planned) and I hope to find her again if possible.

Fantastic experience: I was completely lost on where to go for my boy Tree cat, 9 years old suffering for an illness, with little money, heartbreaking and couldn't think straight. With some research Sun Valley Hope called to me with no words, feeling. Called and they got me in the next day. The moment i walked in the lobby the staff made Tree and i feel comfortable. Saying Goodbye for now to my Treezy took longer for me than expected and The Veterinarian girl (sorry, i forgot your name. I was very distraught.) She had so much patience for me, calm and caring. I highly recommend and I won't be going anywhere else for my fur babies but here. Thank you so so much Sun Valley Hope. Amazing!!

Fantastic experience: Love Sun Vally Hope Animal Hospital when I go, and I feel like family, they know my naked babies by name they get me in as soon as they can, but like every vet it does get backed up. They will call me if there is any cancellations which I have never had a vet stick to their word and say they will call me, but Sun Vally Hope does I would give them 10 stars If I could.

Fantastic experience: I took my cat there after he had been vomiting for days. I was able to get him in the same day. They rehydrated him and ran their tests and seemed to genuinely care about his well being. Highly recommend them to anyone needing veterinarian care.

Fantastic experience: The staff is so nice. Love my vet! She knew right away what was wrong with my senior dog. He had a bad heart murmur. She put him on heart medication twice a day and hes back to how he was in his younger days. What an improvement. Highly recommend. Thank you
