Fantastic experience: I started seeing Dr. Chuck Toben 15 years ago when I took my very sick dog in and he immediately diagnosed Addison's Disease. Dr. Toben saved his life. Our baby lived a great life and 11 long years. We recently brought our new puppy to Dr. Toben because of illness. He diagnosed the issue and our puppy is now back on track to living his best life. Dr. Toben is SO kind, caring, knowledgeable and REALLY listens. He tells it like it is and sometimes gives "best options", so you as a client can help decide which direction to go. It's hard to get an appointment with him, but if you have an option to wait and not go anywhere else, your babies will have the MOST exceptional care with Dr. Toben. His front office staff are kind, caring and will also do whatever they can to help. They are the best!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Chuck Toben. I just wish every vet treated my dog the way he does. My dog is geriatric, medically complex, previously abused and used to hate but is now just pretty avoidant of most men. Within the first couple of visits my dog leaned on Dr. Toben's legs while my dog was feeling weak....I was absolutely floored. Dr. Toben has gone out of his way to help my dog, last minute, over the phone, with appointments, and has been just so insightful and helpful in a way so many other vets cannot do. Most primary care vets get super overwhelmed w/ my dog's health problems, as a lot of my dog's health issues have unknown causes. I went to see many primary care docs in the valley who I really could not trust w/ my dog, or tolerate myself (over 5). Dr. Toben has never even once snapped at me or my dog, gotten overwhelmed (in a way that was even remotely perceivable anyway), has never tried to nickle & dime me, and most importantly, has never given up on my dog. I just cannot place a value on Chuck's honest approach to animal care and kindness towards my dog and me. Chuck will keep trying, trying different things, is always open to suggestions, knows when to sort of make firmer recommendations and take control and when to give space for feedback. He's crazy smart, he knows about so many of my dog's issues in a way that usually only internal med docs seem to be able to discuss, and he is consistently genuinely compassionate and humane. Dr. Toben is just basically a freaking giant brained angel. My only regret is that I'm not loaded so I can't make a massive donation to this clinic. This is exactly what I think all vets should be like, I of course have been really very picky and have a dog w/ a very difficult medical status, and I definitely 1,000% recommend him. Chuck is the first doc I've strongly recommended, by the way, after seeing 2 primaries in MO, 5 specialists in MO, 2 docs in Mexico, 3 internal med docs in AZ, and more than 5 primary care vets in AZ....again, my dog is a very difficult medical case, and Dr. Toben is absolutely the doc for the hardest cases....and thank God that there are vets out there like Chuck who are so good for our poor beloved pets who were previously abused b/c these animals are so sorely in need of kindness and quality care. I'm eternally grateful for this clinic and Dr. Toben.

We have been taking our pets to Dr. Tobin for 15+ years. He and the staff at Apollo are just amazing with our dog and cat. I have a cat that is a little koo koo. She bites and growls at almost everyone. Dr. Tobin was able to examine her and even look in her mouth. I was shocked. This office seems more like a family than a group of people just working together. Always kind, caring and smiling. Can’t begin to say enough good about them.

They don't try to sell you things you don't need, and always do what's best for your situation. He's had to put down older dogs with me, but also kept brand new puppies safe and healthy for me, including my newest puppy (a female mini Bull Terrier). Fantastic experience: Their calm and gentle demeanor in handling my 3 year old energetic and loving dog Luna was great to see. They were able to check her ear infection and the redness on her belly from allergies plus show me how to give her ear drops which is hard for me to do as she doesn’t like liquids in her ears but no problem with them doing it. So far I have been able to get medicine in her ears. Her doctor is very good, explains issues and treatment necessary and why. Highly recommend Apollo Animal hospital for true professionals that care.

Fantastic experience: I had to take 2 of my cats to the vets for ear problems. Fluffy was NOT appreciative of the visit and had to be anesthetized but Olivia didn't have any problem. Everyone was courteous and very helpful through out the whole process of getting both cats taken care of. Their prices were reasonable and I would strongly recommend taking pets there for care.

I met the new girl with the dark curly hair (my apologies that I don’t know her first name) , but she is a ball of sunshine and interacts incredibly well with the humans! A total sweetheart! I have a baby not feeling well, and he called Thanksgiving Day to ease my mind and report that his labs were perfect! Don’t think twice about coming to Apollo! Fantastic experience: My most recent visit was an emergency when my semi-feral cat had complications while delivering 2 kittens. Even though I had no appointment, I rushed her to Apollo and the staff took her in for immediate treatment; the treatment was successful but unfortunately she was already in shock and failed to recover from anesthesia, and died. Dr. K.C.'s compassion and sympathy towards my loss really meant a lot; even though the cat was mostly feral, she was still one of "my" cats. I'm raising her 2 orphaned kittens in honor of her life and Dr. K.C. will remain the caregiver for my animals as long as I am in Arizona.

Fantastic experience: I came into Apollo as a first time visit and to get a second opinion on my dogs allergies. I came out feeling great about the treatment plan. I could tell Dr. Wright was genuinely interested in helping my chocolate lab. He tried other angles that my prior vet didn't consider. He communicated all the details, was up front about costs, and even gave me a second game plan. I immediately trusted him and I'm excited that I've found a new vet that isn't just pushing pills down my pup's throat. Thank you Dr. Wright!!!

This amazing doctor stayed late to perform surgery on my Buddy Boy! So much love for him and his entire staff! Fantastic experience: Fast great service. My cat jammed her paw and I thought it might be broken. I called to see if they can get me in ASAP. They were able to see me right away we got x-rays (nothing broken!) and some pain meds. We were in and out. Everyone was super nice, friendly, and caring. Fantastic experience: By far the best veterinary service. The doctors are very informative and care about your concerns and do very well with the animals. I have 4 dogs and have been to several different vets. I will only bring my furbabies to Apollo. I find it convenient that the grooming part is in the same building. Theyve always done an absolutely wonderful job.

Fantastic experience: Our big guy, Dude, had to have his shots updated. Dr. Tobin was great as usual! The staff is friendly and kind. Dude got locked in the car and AAA was called. Staff called the fire department just in case. Dude was rescued and he got some water from Dr Tobin before heading back home. The veterinarian, Cassidy Everett, was extremely focused on what our concerns were regarding my dog Buddy. Negative experience: Stay far away from this place. I called yesterday and try to explain to them I'm looking for a new Vet and I was thinking about Apollo. As I was explaining why I don't trust vets they hung up on me. The hung up on me because they do the same thing as I was explaining. Up charging customers, giving medicine my dog does not need. They could care less about animals. Instead of them saying sir, we do not do that here, they hung up on me. All vetenarians are scams, you have to do research on the ones that are not.

Dr. Tobin was amazing! I was referred by an employee at The Stock Shop. He answered all my questions and was straight to the point. The price was reasonable as well. Fantastic experience: My little Maltipoo was injured when she was staying with the pet sitter while I was on vacation. When I picked her up, the sitter had her wound all wrapped up so I couldn't see it till I got home. I had to wait to get a cleansing spray so that I could spray it and then clip her hair. As soon as I did, I noticed a terrible odor so I called Apollo Hospital and asked them to fit me in. They did. Dr Tobin saw her. He was wonderful with her. He also explained everything very carefully to me and even demonstrated how to clean her wound.
