Fantastic experience: Great clinic! We've brought all our pets here since we moved here 18 years ago. Caring compassionate Dr's and staff. On this last visit Dr Du took excellent care of our 17 year old cat, who wouldn't eat, and told us just what to do. Our cat is now eating and will hopefully gain some weight.

Fantastic experience: We are always pleased with our experiences with Parker animal bird clinic. Veterinarian car is always too expensive in my opinion, but they do not push unneeded services and my pets are always happy and calm due to the vibe of all who work here.

Negative experience: I had taken my dog Yoko to Parker Animal and Bird Clinic since 2012. Sadly, the quality of care has gotten worse every year. My biggest issue is with Dr. David Blonien. Yoko had a lump on his leg. Without even examining it properly, Dr. Blonien said it was cancer and that Yoko would most likely lose his leg. He scheduled a biopsy, then went on vacation and told the staff NOT to release the results until he returned. He pushed me toward MedVet, where, based on those biopsy results, they would have amputated Yoko’s leg. Thankfully, I sought a second opinion with Dr. Thedford (who used to work here and is now at Legacy Humane). She referred us to DVSC, where Yoko saw both an oncologist and surgeon. They removed the tumor, had three pathologists analyze it, and confirmed it was not cancer. The oncologist explained that fibromas can look cancerous if only partially removed, but the only way to know for sure is to remove and analyze the entire tumor. Had I listened to Dr. Blonien, Yoko would have lost his leg for no reason. His negligence, lack of compassion, and arrogance are inexcusable. I will never bring any of my dogs here again. To them they are just another animal and to me they are my whole world. If you were ever a patient of Dr. Singh, I strongly recommend you follow him to Lake Forest Animal Hospital instead or Dr. Thedford at Legacy Humane

Fantastic experience: There arent many avian vets, so options are limited to a few in DFW, but don't worry, this place loves all their furry and feathered friends! You can really tell they have a passion for what they do! I brought my quaker parrot in and it was a wonderful visit and they made it as positive of an experience for him as they could. I appreciated the education and how mindful she was of the costs for labs/tests and offered the best solution for my baby and my pocket. 100% recommend!

Fantastic experience: I’ve used this clinic for almost every pet I’ve had since I’ve lived here. Great vets, not cheap, but will work with you. The old adage, “you pay for what you get” always applies, no matter where you go. You want great service, you pay for it.

Negative experience: Came in as a walk-in at 8:30 and was aimlessly waiting around for 2.5 hours until we were seen. I didn’t leave until 3 hours later for a non-urgent visit. The front desk staff couldn’t provide a sense of how long things would take. 3 hours is not a “walk in” experience. Wasted half a working day here. I would’ve preferred they let me know the potential timeline so I could go home and reschedule a time to come back and be seen. Still waiting for a doctor call back, 5 days from when I called, on a follow-up concern for our dog. Dr Blonien is otherwise great to work with when we get to him and has always cared for our dogs.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bethany Whetstone was absolutely incredible. She listened closely, took my concerns seriously, and made me feel truly heard. Her energy was warm, bubbly, professional, and comforting all at once. I felt completely at ease knowing my sweet little bunny was in the very best hands. This clinic is a rare gem, and I won’t be going anywhere else from now on. Thank you to Dr. Whetstone and the amazing team—you made a stressful day feel safe, supported, and even joyful. Fantastic experience: Very wonderful place. They were completely booked but were still very kind and took my dog in. They handled him with care and we were in n out within an hour.

Fantastic experience: Showed up at 1PM as walk-in and was seen relatively quick. My Pyrenees mix Bubba has been throwing up for a few days. Technicians and the Doctor examined him and a blood test. They are brilliant, found a bacterial problem, prescribed meds and he's already eating and feeling better. I highly recommend Parker Animal & Bird Clinic.

Fantastic experience: We recently took our dog, Oliver, to Parker Animal & Bird Clinic for a teeth cleaning, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. We were hoping for fresher breath, but we were blown away—his bad breath is completely gone! One of the biggest surprises was discovering that Parker has a dedicated exotic vet, which is a huge relief since we also have a bird. Knowing that we now have a trusted place for all of our animals gives us such peace of mind. Why We Chose Parker: We previously went to Summertree but had a difficult experience there. Unfortunately, we believe that the loss of our beloved GSD, Atlas, may have been influenced by their care. While we can’t say for certain, we feel that if we had been given more details about his labs or bloodwork, we would have known to monitor him more closely. After that, we knew we needed to find a new, trustworthy vet. We found Parker based on Reddit recommendations, and it was the best decision we could have made. A Special Shoutout to Jana: Jana, we met her originally at Summertree, was one of the bright spots there, providing the best customer service we’d ever had. When we found out she's now at Parker, it felt like a sign. Not only did she remember us, but she also took the time to speak fondly of Atlas, and console us on his loss—something she didn’t have to do, but it meant the world to us. Even though our visit was as simple as dropping Oliver off and picking him up later, the warmth and professionalism of the entire staff, including Jana, made a huge impact. Affordable, Quality Care: On top of everything, Parker is significantly more affordable, allowing us to provide even better care for our animals without breaking the bank. Fantastic experience: Very busy clinic all the time. Best to make an appointment. If you want to do a walk in, i would suggest lining up outside their clinic before their opening hours and before they reopen after lunch and also be ready to wait till you’re served because priority still goes to the appointments. Staff members are pretty efficient and the vets are always ready to advise and suggest alternatives to fit your needs and budget

Fantastic experience: We are very grateful for Dr. Du. She is very good at her job and she really cares about our dog Ginger. Recently Ginger is having kidney issues. Even when Dr. Du was on her off days, she still tried come into the clinic and help us save our dog. She’s the best vet that our dog has ever had. Thank you so much!

After our first appointment with our dogs, we feel like this vet is thorough and detailed when checking on your pet and puts proper thought in how to approach their care. Negative experience: Update 11/21/24: After 17 years, I am heartbroken that Dr. David at Parker Rd Bird and Animal clinic let us down so badly, that we can no longer trust this vet’s office. I brought my senior cat in after some concerning behavior. I felt like I was barely listened to, they did blood work, he said wow, her blood work looks amazing for her age. Gave her a quick (and I do mean quick) glance, I had mentioned being concerned about her mouth and he took like a five second ‘look’ and said she looks fine. I mentioned her nose and eyes were a little runny, and this was never addressed. One of our other cats had a respiratory issue a couple weeks prior, and I had wondered if maybe she was dealing with the same thing. But, I was completely ignored, and sent on my way. I feel like when he knew how old she was, that he kind of felt like she wasn’t worth the time. I also want to add, that while I was waiting in the patient room, I could hear Dr. David outside of the room talking to a staff member, complaining about another client, pretty rudely. Maybe this client deserved it, I have no idea, but WOW, the unprofessionalism of standing outside a thin door and talking crap about another client. Save it for the break room. It just drives home that he seems not to care about his patience. If you’re overworked, I’m sorry, that’s really not my problem. I did try to initially be kind about the rushed visit, thinking, okay he claims she’s fine, and he’s in the weeds. Our original visit was on Tuesday – reminder, all sick visits are walk in only, so it’s a huge time investment, and I have been SO BUSY. Then, my cat seemed even sicker, super goopy eyes, I finally call on Saturday and say hey I’m concerned, etc. Dr. David goes straight to talking about palliative care. He was clearly annoyed that I was pushing back. So, on Tuesday you tell me my cat seems perfectly fine, and then on Saturday you tell me that she’s dying, without having really done ANYTHING? After a few days of antibiotics, nothing was really improving with her eating, so I took her to another vet, who did do a thorough check up with concern and gentle bedside manner. But, at that point, she was so weak, that they couldn’t even run all the tests that could have been run. Could my cat have been saved if Dr. David had run additional tests from the get go? Nobody will ever know, I guess. All I know is, I lost my best friend and I felt Dr. David was absolutely cruel and heartless about all of it. I just could not ever trust him again. It’s a pity, because I think the front office staff are always so nice. But, if the doctor can’t be trusted, we cannot continue using the practice. I think they’re pretty much only good for routine stuff, not with serious issues that need compassion.

Fantastic experience: Dr. David and Veterinary Technician Kaydee are soo awesome and always make sure to go above and beyond for your animal !! They're always happy to answer any questions/concerns regarding your pet. First time dog owner here and it can be intimidating finding the perfect veterinary office for your dog but I can truly say I have loved coming here and always feel so welcomed ! Parker Animal and Bird clinic is Teddy approved A few months ago my dog unfortunately got very sick which made me so worried, but coming to this vet office took the stress right away ! Leaving my dog over night was a bit nerve racking but Veterinary technician Kaydee made sure to keep me posted on my baby's well being and even sent me a few pictures ! This just shows how dedicated they are to their jobs ! I would recommend this office to anyone with a pet

Negative experience: Completely unprofessional experience with this vet clinic. Vet and vet tech took information that was told to them about my dog never gave him a proper exam and dog got sicker the next 2 week. Called 22 times to get help from vet and call went to voivemail everytime left 3 voicemails still never heard back. Showed up in person and was denied access to get seen by the vet even though they were in the wrong. Went to petco today the vet actually did a proper exam and come to find out my dog is really sick with an ear infection in both ears and infection on stomach and need more medicine for each. Payed 300 bucks at Parker animal and bird clinic for my dog to get no service and sicker. Will never be back shows they truly don't need to be in animal industry. Place should be closed immediately!

Fantastic experience: It's EVERYTHING what u expect from a Animal facility... it was crowded & stunk of pets needing help... . . but above all, i saw nothing but caring faces behind the counters & smiling faces from people happy to find a place that apparent doesn't charge insane prices (which is probably why it was packed) ... . ... . .before finding this place i was driving around from vet to vet looking to get our new pet fixed.. . . .the prices were crazy ranging from $600 to $1,700 @ most places & some had a long wait list.... . . . then i walked into this place ...they had a "Discount Day" for fixing/spading pets & it was only $215 dollars.. . .there was a waiting list there as well, but the desk lady informed me of appointment cancelations & that i could be squeezed in on discount day luckily.. ..so the very next day snip-snip & we're all happy campers now :)

Negative experience: Definitely would not recommend ever again! I have used this clinic for over 10 years and had recommended it to many. However after my recent experience with them where I was left extremely disappointed and dissatisfied I wanted others to know before they find out the hard way. They charged me for an office visit that I had set up for my extremely anxiety ridden dog who has been on the same medications for years in order to renew his annual prescriptions. The vet we saw told us the prescription would be called in for us but that wasn’t the case. They contacted me over a week later to inform me that the vet who had originally prescribed that medication had left to start her own practice and that they “didn’t feel comfortable” filling my prescription. I have reached out to them numerous times and they haven’t even had the decency to return my calls or emails. No one should be treated this way and my dog was the one who suffered the most. That being said I would definitely recommend Custer Road Animal Hospital. They actually care about animals and the way they treat their humans as well. Being ethical, kind and compassionate MATTERS.

Negative experience: I was a client there until I asked about a vaccine. The uneducated vet’s response as to why they don’t order the mercury free Rabies vaccine (they use the same manufacture for with it) was because if “it works, no need to.” Obviously, it doesn’t work for all and causes a reaction, hence why I am asking without it. He couldn’t even tell me if he has done his research or looked into it, but is all about outdated practices.

Negative experience: The saddest part of this whole thing is that my wife has been bringing her pets here for years. This place has gone down hill for many years, and this was my most recent experience; This was one of the worst experiences of my life with a so called veterinarian (Dr. Charles). My cat was very sick and had a hard time breathing, I was very grateful that they would see him on the spot (4pm) on a weekday. The veterinarian (Dr. Charles) was abrasive and condescending when he examined my cat. He was also dismissive of my concerns about the fact that he had a hard time breathing. He gave him a shot and said that it would clear any breathing issues within 24 hours. It did not. My cat suffered for the next 5 days coughing and wheezing. I called the clinic every day and was met with anger and disgust by his staff, about my sick friend, and was told that he would eventually get better, he did not. We ended up going to a different clinic that was able to treat his sickness within one visit, and some medicine that actually worked. This clinic has proven to me that they don't treat your pets like they care, and just wants to move you through like a cattle call. I was willing to pay top dollar for after hours care for my little dude, as he really needed it. I only hope this practice hires new staff, and Doctors so that others don't have to worry about their best friend dying. Dr. Charles, please retire. You did nothing to help my friend and treated me like garbage when I asked a couple of basic questions. I really hope you read this and reflect on how your patients see you and your practice. Please do not bring your pet here, I had the worst experience you could possibly imagine.

Negative experience: I liked our vet enough to keep coming despite the long waits and generally lousy customer experience of the clinic as a whole. But communication has become truly horrible and the support staff has gotten very rude, so I will no longer be bringing my animals here.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about this office! They took my cat in with no appointment and called me same day on what needed to happen. The doctor called me and explained everything and to get approval. The intake was simple and effective, I was confident in their approach and care for my cat. They listen to your concerns and reassure contact with the doctor so that you are aware of what is going on. Thank you again for taking care of my cat. You always are prompt and kind with great compassion on your approach.

Fantastic experience: Saved our mini golden doodles life! Over the course of a week, we were in and out several times trying to figure out why our pup (5.5lbs) wouldn’t eat. Every time he force fed him chicken broth or watered down food, he’d throw up an hour later. It got to the point where we were out of options. But Dr. Du was so knowledgeable and caring, she got all the other doctors to circle up and they all took turns feeling his stomach. They ended up pointing towards intussusception (intestines overlapping itself) and felt surgery was the best option left. He ended up having a foreign object that wasn’t getting picked up by barium and then part of that was also in his small intestines causing intussusception as well. He began eating on his own and we were finally able to take him home with a great outlook on the future! Our little boy is already day-and-night different and we couldn’t be more thankful for this clinic! These people truly care and I wouldn’t go to ANY other vet if I were you! HIGHLY recommend Parker!

Fantastic experience: I love this clinic. The vet isn't afraid to care for my dogs, and they really like him. I have been going at Park Animal for 3 years and I just have great things to say about it

Negative experience: We first brought our rescue dog here 2 years ago. In addition to a general check I was very concerned about her skin, as it appeared she had some sort of skin infection. My concerns were basically blown off by the vet who stated it was just dandruff, her skin was oily, and so on. I continued to bring it up and to bring her in. About 2 months ago she hurt herself jumping off the bed. We rushed her up there. The vet barely looked at her and stated it was just a torn tendon , did no x-rays or anything. By the time we had been to emergency vets 2 times, we finally found a vet who really looked at her. It took her 5 minutes looking at her skin and distended belly to tell us she thought she Cushings disease. She also had a fractured hip, which they would have known if they had bothered to x ray her. By this time she had lost use of her back legs, lost control of her bladder and colon. Her liver was 3 times the size it should have been. Which is also a sign of Cushings. We lost her last week and the grief is overwhelming. I can’t help but wonder if they had listened to me over 2 years ago if she could have been saved. This is a terrible place. Take your money and don’t care one bit about your pet. Don’t go here.

Fantastic experience: My dog is still here because of this vet!! I’m so immensely grateful to them for their love and care. Other places had quoted ungodly amounts of money to the point I thought we would just have to put Daisy down, but they made it reasonable. A year later and she’s back to walking and being mischievous, like nothing happened!

Fantastic experience: Used to be our local vet. Oh how I miss being closer! They saved our poor rescue hamster from further suffering when all vets around us wanted hefty deposits or had no available appointments. Silver lining to euthanizing came when I received a sympathy card signed by the whole team. They care for big and small. THE BEST VET EVER!

Negative experience: Dr. Charles Blonien. Jr. needs to take his vacation to Colorado early this year! He is in need of some time off. Burnout is happening. We will not bring any of our pets to this clinic ever. Patience and a little tenderness for the animal in front of him should not be asking too much! He is rude and checked out!

Dr Chuck Blonien is a veterinarian who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated to providing the best possible care for your pet. He is mindful of costs and I believe it stems from his passion for his work and his love of animals. I cannot speak highly enough of him.

Fantastic experience: We brought our corn snake Sandy to Parker Animal and Bird Hospital due to a large bump on his side. It's always tricky when you have an "exotic" pet since you can't be sure what level of experience you'll get. We were very pleased with Dr. Francesca Hoffpauir. She was friendly, listened to our concerns, and examined our reptile thoroughly. She had helpful suggestions and explained the cost of different options. It was clear she had a good amount of experience with reptiles and snakes. The exotic pet exam was $120, so that's something to keep in mind if you're considering costs. But it was worthwhile. Overall, very pleased. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Blonien is the BEST he saved my bird, and years later, I still have him here squawking his heart away Updated review as of Sep 2023: The price per visit has gone up drastically since I started coming here around 2010, but the quality of care is as consistent as always. I love the staff at the front, I love the vets, the techs, everyone. They're so incredibly welcoming, caring, helpful, and from what I can tell, genuine. My two dogs are always up for causing chaos, and Parker Animal & Bird Clinic has always been there to help. From my dogs ingesting an insect that wasn't ready to die to diarrhea all over the wall situations, Parker has given me a sense of comfort, knowing my babies will be okay. I truly am eternally grateful to everyone working here and always look forward to seeing Dr. Whetstone and Dr. C. Blonien. Thank you, Parker Team, for being so dang fantastic!!!

Positive experience: A little bit on the pricier end for annual shots ($225/dog) but I love our vet and how kind she is to my babies. She even cites current research regarding certain interventions and patiently explains the importance/necessity of each component of care.

Negative experience: I would strongly suggest finding a different veterinarian if you have an older dog and/or dog that has a chronic ailment. Appointments are about a week out. They do have walk in appointments, but they seem very hurried and do not spend enough time to help figure out what is wrong with your animal. Both of our dogs were misdiagnosed because not enough time was spent to assess their conditions.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been using this clinic for both our parrot and our poodle for three years now and they always seem to do a wonderful job. Sometimes the wait can be a bit long in seeing a vet, but the staff is friendly and they do a great job with our animals. It’s sometimes hard to find an exotic pet vet, and we especially like how they’ve cared for our African Grey.

Fantastic experience: My family has been going here for decades...maybe 30 years? They've been with us through the lives of many cats and now our Great Pyrenees Ruger. They've also been with us whenever it's been time to help our fur babies pass on peacefully. I'm grateful for the personalized service for our family and the wonderful care throughout the years.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency with my pet. Although the line was long, they took him in right away for a breathing treatment/until they can fully assess him. They are also responsive and efficient when it comes to his prescription refills.

Fantastic experience: My vet for the last decade. I’ve seen most of the doctors and they’re all great. I’ve been pleased with service and appreciate the reminder postcards that shots are due. Really appreciate the vaccine clinic!

Fantastic experience: I've been taking my babies to Dr. Bethany Whetstone at Parker animal and bird since 2006. You can feel her warmth and compassion as she examines your pets. More than once I went in there worried about one of my baby's and she put me at ease with her relaxed, professional and caring persona. You may have to wait as I don't think they're taking new patients because of Covid but I highly recommend their clinic.

Fantastic experience: We've gone to several different vets for our previous dog who passed away late last year and decided to change vets for our new puppy. Our experience with Parker Animal & Bird Clinic has been wonderful so far. It's simple to get a same-day appointment for an illness/injury and I have used their low-cost vaccine clinic (1st Sat of the month) and spaying/neutering (every Thu). I believe they really care for their patients and I know my puppy is in good hands.

Negative experience: This place used to be great. My pets had been seeing Dr. Singh for over 10 years. I brought a new pet in today for his 1 year exam and vaccines. The front office staff was amazing and all very friendly. The vet, Dr. Blonien, was something else. I don't know if he's always been like this or if he was having a bad day. He walked into the room and introduced himself but never greeted my dog. He prepared the vaccines and then tried to examine my dog. Right away my dog tried to bolt. He did not want to stand on the scale/table so Dr. B left the room and came back with a rope leash and put it around his neck. My dog freaked out and Dr. B, rather then trying to talk to him and calm him down, started pulling him very hard by the rope, attempting to use the rope to lift him onto the scale causing my dog to start gagging and hyperventilating. Finally he said he wouldn't be able to examine him if he can't get him on the table. I tried asking some questions and he acted like he could care less. I told Dr. B that my dogs nail was broken and he had been licking his paw alot. He cut me off and said "just give him fish oil". I have eyes, I can see, I'm not an idiot... fish oil is not going to fix a broken nail. You didn't even ask if he was already on any supplements. I've never been to a vet that didn't do their best to make an animal comfortable and unfortunately, since he is the owner of this clinic, I will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: My conure had just turned a year old so I decided to take him to the vet for his first ever wellness check-up. We were scheduled with Dr. Whetstone and she was AWESOME. Very positive, friendly, and thoroughly explained everything she was doing as she went along. I was interested in doing DNA testing for my bird and she had no problem helping me collect a sample (that includes clipping the birds nail to a bleeding point, and something I was too scared to do myself). She informed me of the DNA testing process, gave me great information and pointed me in the right direction that ended up saving me money. Super grateful for this staff and their veterinarians!

Fantastic experience: We have been coming here for 15 years and have had wonderful experiences with every veterinarian in this practice. We absolutely adore Dr. Whetstone though!! She is so compassionate, has amazing bedside manner, and incredible knowledge and instincts for the best way to help your pet no matter what kind of animal it is! Her knowledge is so diverse! So thankful for this place!

Fantastic experience: A few months ago we got a hamster to add to our family. We were told her back paw was deformed, but there was nothing wrong with it. Wanting to have her checked to be sure, we started looking for a vet that handled exotics. Unfortunately, before we found one her leg ended up being fractured and tore through her skin. Taking her to an emergency vet who could not help her we waited desperately for Parker to be open. They rushed us in first thing Monday morning where she was seen by Dr. Bethany Whetstone who happened to be the vet that helped us when we had to put our Bunny down after battling with cancer. Remembering how incredibly gentle and kind she was helping our Son coupe with the loss of his Bunny we knew we were at the right place. She scooped up his hamster, rearraigned her schedule in order to be there to save her and got to work amputating her little limb. Calling us shortly after stating she was awake, doing great, and ready to come home. My Son gets to enjoy watching her run all over her fifty gallon tank, run all night in her wheel, and snuggling forever when she wakes up for her day Thanks To Parker Animal & Bird.

Fantastic experience: Great staff, wonderful care and great prices. Dr Blonien is a wonderful and very thoughtful vet. Lots of wisdom. We have been trusting all our pets to Dr Blonien and his staff for 25 years!

Edit, two years later: Thank you so much to Dr. David and the rest of the staff who's names I didn't get. You guys helped me end my cat's pain in as peaceful a manner possible and let me grieve in place as I desired. Your love and patience was blinding today.

Fantastic experience: When my dog, Pepper, started acting scared to enter our old vet's office, we started going to PAC and never looked back. The staff and doctors are all friendly and compassionate. My baby girl treats her vet visits now like a trip to the park where she sees old friends. Dr Whetstone is her favorite. A wonderful Dr. who listens to converns and empathizes. Pepper is always SO happy to see her and get rubs. We highly recommend Parker Animal & Bird Clinic! ❤

Fantastic experience: We’ve been going here for years and they’ve seen all 9 of our dogs over the years. Whether it’s a quick nail trim, vaccines, an annual visit, your pet is sick, or you just have a question for over the phone, they are always very helpful and kind. I’ve seen every vet here and I don’t have any complaints about any of them. Morales and Wetstone are my favorites and were very compassionate when helping us with the passing of our dogs when it was their time. Highly suggest using this vet for any of your animals, no matter what kind. We love all of the staff there, their prices are reasonable, and we will continue to see them for as long as possible. We even stayed with them after moving farther away and make a 40 minute drive to see them.

Fantastic experience: We've been taking our cats here for at least 28 years and have always been happy with the attention and service, especially for our feral cats who live in the house. We called them the net boys because Dr. B had to put them in a fish net to treat them. Luckily they have calmed down a bit and now he can just take off the top of the carrier.

Positive experience: They do a great job for a low cost clinic and take care of all your pets furry or otherwise. Allowing walk-ins is a great service option they provide, the con to that is you may have to wait a few hours to be seen by a doctor. If that's not for you, schedule an appointment or go somewhere else if it's a same day necessity. Every doctor at any clinic will have different bedside manners, some will mesh with you, others may not and that's okay. I found that the doctors all care for our babies but they may not spend the quality time you might get at a full price clinic but I can tell they do what's best for our animals and care just as much! Some say you get what you pay for, you really do get good service at a good price here. So many kind techs and doctors. I really enjoy this clinic.

Fantastic experience: I have used this vetenary practice for around 15 years for my dogs, cats, and reptiles. All the doctors and staff here are very knowledgeable, professional, and kind. They are also extremely reasonable cost wise. They seem very up-to-date on all the various ailments, treatments, and vaccines needed for a wide variety of animals. I highly recommend them for all of your animal family members! I have had several types of animals all my life (I'm 60) and have gone to various vets. This is the only place I now go to exclusively.

Fantastic experience: We came here for our first time after moving to this area and heard good things through friends. We have a 3 year old Shiba Inu who HATES having his nails trimmed and they did a wonderful job handling his temperament and dramatics. They were very professional and kind and allowed us to be back in the room with him. We have found our new vet!

Fantastic experience: Great staff and the vet is a no nonsense right to the point guy, who will explain all options. Their surgical team did great for my girl pup. Reasonable prices too. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Our dog had gotten out of our back yard and was hit and killed by a driver this morning (hit and run). A vet tech from PABC just happened to drive by on her way to work and picked him up from the side of the road and kept him for us at the clinic and contacted us. She was extremely nice, sympathetic and helpful with helping us arrange a cremation. The staff went above and beyond with getting a room set up for us to see Ivory one last time (even though it was extremely busy) before we sent him off to doggy heaven. The tech that found him also stuck around after her shift to make sure we were all doing okay. We havent received his ashes/urn yet since it takes a couple of weeks, so I may update my review after receiving it. All in all, fantastic experience. This is a bit of an odd review for me to leave since this is a service that noone wants to have to go through, but I think it was necessary to commend them for everything they did for us. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for years and they always do an amazing job and are very caring and careful with my dogs ***edit*** I wanted to say thank you to the girl who helped me out by telling me how to care for a 2 week old kitten! I can't remember her name but I know she is a tech and she helped me out so much! Thanks to her I was able to care for the kitten until I could find him a new home and he's doing great :)

Fantastic experience: Several vets here and all are very good and caring. They are very reasonably priced and even do a low cost vaccination clinic (once a month, I believe). My friend found a sick squirrel in her back yard and several clinics wouldn't even see her but Parker Animal & Bird looked at the squirrel and prescribed meds to help it get better. They are good about accepting walk-ins when I have needed immediate care and since there are multiple vets it's usually pretty fast. The entire staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Dr Fran is amazing!!! Our mastiff is terrified of the vet ( he's a rescue we aren't sure why he's so scared of the vet) and Dr Fran is always kind and spend whatever time we need with him, showing no fear of this 120 pound beast. If you make an appt vs using their walk in service the wait is reasonable, even with lab work and meds after the visit we were there less than 90 minutes. We have used them with all our animals for years with zero negative experiences. We love Dr Fran but have liked the other vets there too. Would recommend 10/10!!

Fantastic experience: Extremely friendly staff fairly short wait time. AMAZING rabbit knowledge and care. Was able to diagnose my bun fast and with minimal stress. Also another point to friendliness is I never once feel Condescended to.

Fantastic experience: The doctors are so amazing and helpful they don't judge you for not neutering or declawing they make suggestions. Honest Veterinary Care. Great prices and front desk is also very friendly when you call. If the front desk isn't nice when I call a vet I just move on. Almost always get you in on a cancellation. I have been here with three different animals. It's my number one referral for Plano.

Fantastic experience: I'm a new client. I've had about 3 visits with them in a short time for my 2 dogs. My family has the other dogs here. We do like the interactions we have had. I enjoyed the staff as well. The doctor today had the opportunity to 'sell' or push more services and he didn't. I so appreciate an organization that charges what they need and doesn't push for more like so many other vets. BRAVO Parker Animal. Oh and my dog really doesn't like vets. She well tolerated this one so far, fingers crossed.

Negative experience: I have taken my cats (in total 6 over the years) here for over 20 years. Added my dog 4 years ago. Over the years when finances are tough they were always be there for me, worked with me and got my fur babies taken care of. Since the pandemic started, I'm not sure what has happened but the whole vibe of the clinic has turned into.. as long as you can pay top dollar you get smiling faces, and all the help you want. Now I'm not saying I don't want to pay for services, but when times are tough and your fur baby needs antibiotics which would be less than $10, (affordable) no help what so ever. Doc has to see, run tests, then buy meds... easily $100. 20 years of paying for shots, spade/ neutering, diabetic supplies, even had to put a couple down... and now.... non-compassionate voices on the phone... sorry, can't help you. :-( heart broken fur momma

Fantastic experience: This is the absolute best place to go for compassionate, high-quality care for your animals. Every veterinarian here is kind, caring, and really wants the best for your pet. One of my dogs had to have major hip surgery after an accident, and thanks to the excellent care he received, he is now running around like his old self again! You would never know anything ever happened. The vet techs and front desk staff are also great, and will work you in for an urgent issue when needed. I recommend this place 100%!

Fantastic experience: My dog Layla had been a patient here since 2012/2013. We’ve tried many different vets when she was young and was experiencing allergies and anti-immune issues. However, a friend recommended this place and we’ve been a customers ever since and referred many of my friends there. Their prices and visit are extremely reasonably priced. Especially when compared to some of the other vets in the area. I’ve visited too many vets before where it was all about playing on your fears and trying to extra as much money as possible. Whether it was over medicating or selling overprice shampoos. Parker Animal and Bird clinic is the opposite. They take a minimalist approach. Sometimes less is more. Layla had been happy and taken care of and is nearing 14 and still energetic and happy. Despite her many ailments. All of the staff & doctors there are great but the past few years we’ve been seeing Dr. Francesca Hoffpauir. Special thanks to her.

Fantastic experience: I have been going here for years about 8 yrs. At some point or another my pets (4 cats, 1 dog and a yellow head parrot) have been seen by every doctor at this clinic. Everyone of them has been fantastic but I want to say a special thank you to Dr Hoffpauir who most recently was treating our 16 year old Pekingese. She gave him the best care and love through his last 6 months. It was incredibly hard to see him pass but her concern and compassion was so comforting. Every time I have been in they are so busy but they run things so smoothly and orderly. All of the staff is so sweet. I love this clinic and highly recommend them.
