Animal Medical Clinic of Orlando

Fantastic experience: Love them. Very knowledgeable, cheaper than other vets, and super time effective. I have two reactive dogs and a scaredy cat. It was embarrassing for me. But this clinic was super understanding. We had to get a rabies titer test done. All the other vets were saying it would take 6 weeks or 2 months to get back. Not these guys. It was maybe 3 weeks until they got it back. Absolutely miraculous. Can't recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: Needed a new vet and decided to give this place a try for Otto’s vaccination and check up. The front desk staff were kind, efficient and broke down everything for my first visit with them. Otto and I had Dr. Duncan today and she along with the vet techs were fantastic. I have a lot of anxiety with vet visits, and have felt dismissed with other vets in the past. They listened to all my concerns since he is an older gentleman and I felt so comfortable and at ease. HIGHLY recommend this place.

Negative experience: No acceden a brindar precios sin antes 8 exámenes con ellos! Me parece ilógico, nosotros como clientes necesitamos saber precios de los tratamientos. Decir que antes requieren exámenes es excusa TODO proceso ya tiene su precio. Puede ser acorde al peso del perro pero aún así brindándole el peso o tamaño no acceden a dar precios.

Always a very calm atmosphere in the building/waiting area and this goes a long way in helping our dog be relaxed there too. Highly recommend if you're needing a veterinarian in Orlando.

Fantastic experience: This was Jake and I first visit. Everyone was friendly and Jake loved all the attention. I loved that they wrote Jake and I name on the welcome board, nice touch! I meant to take a picture and forgot.

Fantastic experience: I had to take my cat in as a new patient for ingrown nails. Everyone here is so kind and professional. They took great care of Yin. We will continue using them for both of our cats.

While the news with pets isn’t always great and they do get old and pass I always felt grateful for the time and attention given to them and myself. I wouldn’t let anyone else care for my pups.

Dr O'Sullivan pay special attention to detail and Jamie White has gone above and beyond and helping me after hours during an emergency with one of my fur babies Trevor. I will be forever thankful.

Fantastic experience: They were very fast and efficient! We called in for an appointment for our kitty Faith because she needed a checkup and flea medicine. They got us in there in just a few days as a first time patient. Every other vet we called was at least a month out. Thanks so much for taking care of our Faith!

Fantastic experience: Great customer service. Always a friendly vibe when I walk in. The clinic is always kept clean. There’s also a nice side yard for the dogs to walk around in while you’re waiting. The employees are patient and responsive. Doctors are sympathetic and knowledgeable. Also they’re miracle workers for being able to get my aussie’s nails clipped.

Fantastic experience: Dr. David is such a compassionate veterinarian. We had to make the decision to let our 21 year old Pomeranian cross the rainbow bridge and Dr. David brought such comfort during a difficult time. She is a wonder veterinarian that loves animals and it shows. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great clinic.

Every single employee I have had the pleasure of meeting has been friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Dr. O’Sullivan has treated my dogs with genuine love, care, and knowledge. Not all moments have been easy, and even then, Dr. O’Sullivan and the staff went out of their way to show their understanding and support. Fantastic experience: I was in search of a new vet and 2nd opinion for my dog who had fallen very ill. My previous vet came to a very odd diagnosis and treatment plan, so I asked a friend where we should go and learned that 4 of my other friends go to AMC of Orlando. Dr. O was so thorough with our boy and gave us everything we needed to know to come to a hard decision the first time we met her. I’m floored by how incredible the whole staff was at tending to each person who came in. I’ve found my vet for life.

A thorough visit with the veterinarian, Dr. Duncan, who took the time to answer all of my questions and even demonstrate how to use the new ear medication we needed. I felt like we were really taken care of and cared about, even being new patients at the practice.

Fantastic experience: Been going to Animal Medical Clinic for 7 years. The doctors and staff are always so welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable about anything iv'e needed. Its always easy to get an appointment, or walk in to get more meds/food/etc. Any time my dog has had an issue the doctors have always been great. Listing out the options available with pros and cons. I never felt like decisions were forced, or that there was a 'bad' option. I always feel really comfortable there and with the care my pet is getting.

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my fur babies to AMC of Orlando for five years. They are friendly, transparent, honest, kind, and they LISTEN. We were able to figure out what was making Ruby cough (something genetic) and worked together to find a treatment regime that worked for us both. I can't recommend them high enough.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a vet that cares about your pet, look no further. Reasonably priced, this care staff is exceptional. I took my dog in, very concerned about his health. They took the time to ensure I was fully informed and had an action plan. I didn't feel rushed which is so important when it comes to pets. I have been to other places where I left more confused than when I came in. AMC of Orlando ensured I understood and took care of my pets needs. Thanks AMC!

Jillian at the front desk is a sweet young lady who is great at her job and always looking to help us. She loves our babies and truly loves her job…. This is our only vet that we will see and trust. And we have Bulldogs that are constantly at the vet ..

Fantastic experience: This animal clinic is very clean, staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, the Vet (Dr. David) is very helpful, and enjoyable to do business with. They are efficient, appointment times are kept, no waiting! We had an 8:20 appt, all shots, exam, etc all done and checked out at 8:55. I highly recommend this office for your pet’s care. My sweet pup Jake (from State Farm) loves the whole team at Animal Medical Clinic on Bumby!

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff of assistants and doctors! I’ve been going here for over a decade and it’s always a good experience with the staff. They took care of my previous dog for years and now take care of my new dog and I couldn’t be more confident with their experience and knowledge.

Fantastic experience: The only place I would take my cats is to AMC. My primary veterinarian is Dr. Lee, but I feel free to take my cats to any of the other doctors in the office. They are competent and empathetic. The veterinary technicians are also kind and informed. The front desk employees are helpful and always ready to address inquiries. You can see that the employees at AMC appreciate what they do and that it is well-managed.

Fantastic experience: I have been taking all of my pets (11 cats & dogs) to Animal Medical Clinic or Orlando for all of their care since they opened their doors and I have been with Dr David for even longer (around 30 yrs). I trust their no nonsense practical veterinarian practices. The front desk staff and technicians are wonderful and always quite helpful. Fantastic experience: I brought my buddy in for a simple tech injection, but he decided to be "spicy" that afternoon. The technicians, still smiling, took him in back to finish their work. They came out singing his praises...he can be charming when he wants to be. I appreciated the fact that the techs were so nice and gentle with him even when he was not a good boy.

I have found everyone, from the front desk staff to the techs to the doctors, to be kind, caring and focused on offering sound medical advice and treatment for my dogs. I’ve visited for everything from routine care to surgeries to illness to end-of-life care, and I’ve always felt like I’ve received the best treatment. I love Animal Medical Clinic!

Negative experience: Do not take your pet here. This veterinarian is only in business for the money. I check in for my appointments only for the receptionist to try to sell me some vaccines that she insisted were required by law. Before the examination was even conducted the nurse tried to sell me blood work before the doctor had even seen my pet. I didn't buy the mandatory vaccines nor did I purchase blood work. If your pet needs help from here, get a second opinion first.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lee and the entire practice have taken such good care of our sweet dog for many, many years. When we first rescued our dog, we lived down the street from the practice. A few years later we moved about 30 minutes away and still make the drive (8 years later) because they are so wonderful. I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit with my cat for her checkup and vaccines. Riley and Autumn at the desk were very nice. Joshua the tech and Dr. Lee were friendly and professional. Dr. Lee was easy to talk to and did a comprehensive exam. Their vaccine prices were lower than my previous vet. I am glad I chose them for my pet.

Fantastic experience: I’ve only come in a few times in the last year as I am newer to the area. But each time I have, Mango and I are always greeted by a comfortable, friendly, and caring staff. There’s lots of room in the waiting area which is great for nervous pets that need some breathing room. They seem to try and give each pet a special welcoming when they get checked in. The doctor’s and tech’s are very informative and they’ve always been very patient and thorough while going over options or answering my questions during visits.

I will never be able to sing their praises quite enough. The entire staff is the absolute BEST in Orlando. Fantastic experience: They gave excellent care for my dogs in the 70-80. In the 90s-2000s my cats were patients and currently my 6 lb toy poodle. Your pet too will get excellent care.

Negative experience: Not to happy. After waiting for almost one week to see the vet. My cat died 3 days after seeing by one of the vets. I mention she took that pill before but half. She. Said no she weighs 9 pounds and can take the whole pill. After one shut 2 pills, one every day, not eating at all. She died 9/9/ 2023 she was eating before of course I was feeding her, but she was eating and a live. Please don't overdose in the future.

Fantastic experience: I found AMC some years ago when my previous vet stopped working with the VA, as they fund my guide dog's medical needs. AMC enthusiastically took us on as patients - that was three guide dogs ago. Everyone I have met there has tended to his/her professionally and, more importantly, with love. Of particular note is the assistance provided in traveling with a service animal. International regulations for visiting with animals are complex and non-uniform - a special shout-out to Nelisa who tirelessly researches all the various requirements for the places we intend to visit and then does everything needed to ensure we are ready to travel on time. James, the Guide Dog, and I love AMC! All of our other pet animals have been treated with the same professionalism and empathy as my guide dogs over the years. Thank you, Allen Simmons

Negative experience: Every appointment is 30 behind schedule. They seem to not be prepared for appointments booked weeks in advance and lack proper communication. They also nickel and dime for everything . I will be looking for another vet.
