Fantastic experience: The most amazing place to take your pet. Dr. Rebecca M and the techs/nurses were all SOOO great. I would spend my last dime and penny to take my fur babies here. So incredibly informative on not only what my pup needed but also tips to help make his (and ours) lives so much better. I cannot express my appreciation enough.

Fantastic experience: They were kind to my dog and emphatic to my financial situation. They never tried to upsell me and were very honest about what my dog "best friend" needed. Dr. St Peiere and her technicians really impressed me. I recommend them!!! This is the only review I have ever left in my life. Real talk, true story!

Fantastic experience: Our wheaten terrier is always in great hands with Lochhaven's team and staff, led by Dr. Martin. Today was no exception. They're professionals who care. They show they understand and relieve our stress when our "kids" must undergo procedures or are feeling less perky than usual. Throughout the process - from scheduling, to explaining steps, to intake, to pre-op communications, to performing dental cleaning and lipoma removals, to Dr. Martin's post-op update, to pick-up, to payment - the team demonstrated excellence. It's not easy to maintain such excellence year after year, but Lochhaven does.

Fantastic experience: Our dog is a current patient at Loch Haven Vet but they went absolutely above and beyond when it came to a last-minute cat boarding appointment for a hurricane evacuation family! I called them right as hurricane prep was happening and they came to the rescue! We were so thankful that they were able to accommodate the cat and make sure he was safe and sound during the hurricane while his family camped out in Orlando! Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Loch Haven is incredible. It’s so clear that every single team member cares deeply about the animals who visit their practice. I have been taking my pets here for over 2 years now and have felt nothing but warmth, transparency, and compassion. From putting down my senior pup in a way that honored his life, to welcoming my new puppy with excitement. They are fantastic. The facility is also beautiful and always extremely clean. Here is my pup on his first visit to the vet. They gave him toys in the room while he waited as well as lots of love. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: This is the best veterinary hospital I have ever been to. I was recommended to this hospital by an Emergency vet as this is the veterinary practice that the doctor at the emergency vet took her pets to. Loch Haven Vet is extremely thorough. They take the time to explain things until you are comfortable. The vet techs are very professional unlike a lot of other places I have been to. You can just tell that the whole operation is very well run, organized and detail oriented. I have to drive a long way to get here but it is worth it to me to provide my cats with the best care!

Fantastic experience: Kodi ( our dog ) was having difficulty using his right rear leg for support. Dr St Pierre correctly diagnosed our dog's issue with his right rear leg and clearly explained it. Most importantly she ruled out the worse case scenarios, which relieved alot of worry. We are following her recommendaions and Kodi was much better within 48 hours. He is a happy man again!

Negative experience: Read all the current negative reviews. Read the clinic response. This cold you feel it’s because it’s a business it’s not about you or your pet. You are a cash machine from which they withdraw. I was there with my dog, been a client for ten years. I couldn’t pay the full amount but half and the rest the next day. The said no I asked if I could write a check. They said yes. I live 5 minutes away the made me leave my drivers license before I could run home and get my checkbook. I was treated like a street rat a criminal. Disgusting. Ok. And front office staff great for the most part. Overall the place is not the same with the new owners. Nail clipping was $10. Now $28. Tell me on Gods green earth how that has tripled a business sold as caring. Not saying staff do not care but the dirty underside of business Leaks out and as is so popular today each staff member says yeah well I dint have anything to do with that…. But you do because you delivered the message. How about the “business “ staff stop shielding themselves with the care givers. Disgusting they hold your beloved pet as a money leverage and shame you. Missed diagnosed as having joint in inflammation. Never checked stool or X-ray. She passed the next morning. Rest in peace Sadie Mae Jaya update cashed the check not a call card or text. It’s been 2 months. Grateful for the love and support of friends. Remember I said cold. Yep point clearly proven forgiveness yes forget nope. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I used to dread appointments for my dog who has extreme anxiety around going to the vet. Then Dr McIntosh joined the practice. Her knowledge, patience, and creativity has made a huge difference in caring for my anxious dog. She’s also helped me understand my dog which has helped strengthen our bond.

Negative experience: The vets here are great with my dogs, but the front staff is incompetent. There's always mix ups in appointments, and incorrect information given or lack of instructions. I tried for days to get them to return my call about getting medication for the dog for giardia. I also tried once to get an appointment in for an allergic reaction, and once I did the vet said I should have come in sooner. Well I tried, but they said I couldn't so ... ‍♀️ It's also way more expensive than other vets so I switched.

Fantastic experience: They got my dog in quickly, and they also had catered plans to my older dogs needs.

Negative experience: It used to be an amazing veterinary. The last few months have become unbearable, they look like they are running around with their heads cut off. Takes a whole week just to get my prescription for my cat.

Negative experience: Ruined my cat's gums in a botched dental. If you are not confident in the procedure, don't do it. Recommended unnecessary expensive procedures for my cat that was already suffering.

The doctors and staff are incredibly passionate about their work and clearly love their profession. They’ve provided amazing care and advice to help ensure the health of our dogs & cats over the years. We absolutely love this vet and feel so blessed to have it in our neighborhood. Fantastic experience: We have used this clinic for a number of years but we just started going to Dr. German this past month and she is absolutely amazing. She listens, explains everything well and is mindful of our time. The best part is I feel my pups are getting the best treatment available.

Fantastic experience: I love this practice!!!! I had 2 pets pass within a week of each other, and the whole team rallied around to ensure I had as much support as possible. They take great care of my current pets and give dedicated attention to make sure all my questions are answered and we take the best path forward. I can't say enough other than I specifically drive 20 min to this practice rather than going somewhere closer.

Negative experience: They cancelled my appointment for my two dogs the day of because a doctor was sick and “although they tried to accommodate clients, we weren’t one of the ones who could be accommodated.” On two separate occasions we needed emergency appointments for our dog (one life threatening) and both times they told us they could not accommodate us. They also made me book out appointments weeks if not months in advance because I wanted to bring my two dogs in at the same time and they never had time in their schedules. Terrible experience, I should have switched a long time ago.

Negative experience: I haven’t even gotten to bring my animal over there, I called an I was asking questions about bringing my kitten in for its first check up (I am new to Orlando and know that all vets around here have been inflating prices recently) and after my first question (about finances) the lady assumed I was done and said, “if you have any other questions let us know” and then hung up as I was trying to ask my next question about their hospital. Definitely did not appreciate this.

Negative experience: My name is Mike and I do not take any delight in posting this negative review. I had been a client at Loch Haven for about 8 months and had been purchasing heartworm prevention monthly. One of the receptionists suggested that I bring my dog in to be weighed to make sure that he did not exceed the weight limit for his dose, in which I did. At this point, I am going through some really bad financial issues which I hope will be resolved soon. At present, I am on food stamps and have less than $5.00 to my name. When I brought him in, I asked if they could cut his nails and express his anal glands and they said yes ,knowing my financial situation. Upon bringing him out after they finished, they told me the charge was $63.00 for an office visit, in which I told them I did not have the money. They then told me that until I paid off the bill I would not be able to purchase heartworm preventative from them. I am doing all that I can to keep my dog and because I can not pay a bill because I do not have the money, they do not care if my dog gets heartworms. There is no other way to describe it. I understand that it is a business, but in life there are extenuating circumstances. My dog is very sweet and calm, so the whole thing could not have taken much more than a minute.. One more thing. I am not looking for any pity, but it is what it is. I am 76 years old and I am in a wheelchair. When I spoke to the office manager, she told me that this is a for profit business. I get that, but in a business, when you provide a good or service, you are entering into a contract (albeit oral) but a contract just the same. In the exchange of goods or services, there has to be an offer and acceptance (meeting of the minds) regarding the exchange of consideration. If I was told before hand that the charge wound be $63.00, I would not have agreed to it and there would not have been a meeting of the minds. PLEASE TAKE YOUR PET TO SOMEBODY WHO CARES!!!!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: The people that work at this vet are perfectly lovely, wonderful people. We have always been treated with respect and love. HOWEVER - they simply have too many clients and their scheduling does not allow them to care for your pet the way that a neighborhood family vet should. In 6 years our dog has been sick twice and each time it was an absolute ordeal to get seen on short notice. Their “regular” appointments are booked 50+ days in advance and to be seen for a sick visit your only option is to call day of and “MAYBE” (their words) they will fit you in - oh and don’t forget about the $180 rush appointment fee. Having a sick pet is stressful and the last thing you need to deal with is difficult scheduling issues at the vet. Buyer beware - downtown residents if you’re willing to drive 15-20 minutes outside of the DT area there are plenty of vets that will see you immediately and love your pet without 3x the charge.

Fantastic experience: Loch Haven is the BEST! They are our vets and also where we board our dogs. They have the most friendly, caring staff. And we loved receiving pictures and updates about our dogs while we were gone! They are also the cleanest vets office we have ever been in!

Fantastic experience: I never write google reviews, but I had to share my experience. I decided to switch vets after one of my cat's health care made me concerned. My cat was poorly handled, scaring her so badly that she needed to be put on gabapentin just for a nail trim. They also told me she needed to have potentially thousands of dollars of services for her teeth, without giving me a clear and conscience answer as to exactly how much cost I was looking at, nor about precisely what they were going to do. Take out teeth, jaw surgery, and a cleaning? They said it could be any of those, but they weren't sure and could only tell me once they got there. I felt baffled and knew I needed a second option. I called Loch Haven straight away. The front desk attendant put me at ease from the first phone call expressing my concerns. She walked me through what to expect and what they could provide. On our first visit, I was immediately impressed with the lobby area - Cat Desk / Dog Desk. The cat boarding area with glass windows and happy cats chilling out. The facility was clean and quiet. No one was in a hurry, phones ringing off the hook, and excessive stress by the staff. It was just really buttoned up and professional. The waiting room was so minimal and clean—no tacky posters or artwork on the wall—just essentials. From the moment Dr. Speicher walked in, I knew this would be different. He was so calm, professional, reassuring, and understanding. He moved so slowly and methodically toward my cat, and she was quiet. No meds were needed. He listed and devised a plan for my cat that involved some proactive noninvasive steps toward her healthcare. I was so happy to have found him! Since that visit, I have moved my other two cats, which required another visit. Again, same as before. It wasn't a fluke. Dr. Speicher had incredible calmness with each cat, and we talked about their healthcare, and they provided a clear summary of all charges. Not three different invoices for each animal. One sheet, clear as day. And both visits the techs were so sweet and helpful. Actually, there's not a single person I have encountered so far that isn't a kind human being, who seems to love what they do. One of the best perks about this vet is the online portal and texting communication service. Each animal has their profile and details, in case I have to check any information about them. There I can request a prescription refill, text questions with the office (which is amazing), request medical records, and see any service reminders. It's easy and assessable, and I'm not put on hold each time I call, as I was with the previous vet. Lastly, they offered me a way to save money on flea and tick meds, which the other vet did not do and charged more. Just another way Loch Haven is so considerate of the client's pocketbook. They are organized, thorough, professional, clean, and operating at the optimal level! I'm surprised they are not on a waiting list to be established as a new patient. At the other vet, I felt like a number, like I was bothering them, wondering which Dr. I would get, and they always seemed unorganized, and the techs sometimes seemed unhappy to be there. Not with Loch Haven. Each person I have encountered was smiling, attentive and helpful! It is like a breath of fresh air that puts my heart at ease because I know all my animals are in terrific hands. I will 100% recommend Loch Haven them to anyone who needs a vet.

Fantastic experience: My partner and I have had several pairs of cats, that we have taken to Loch Haven, over 20 years. While there are other excellent veterinarians locally, our experience with Loch Haven has been that our cats are treated as if they belonged to the veterinarian. Our cats have all been treated and cared for attentively and humanely. The facilities are top-notch and “calming” for both animals and people. There is a strict protocol and professional interaction between the patients, clients and staff. There are separate dog and cat entrances. The exams, treatments and surgeries are all reasonably priced, for the high level of service provided, here. Dr. Martin and his fellow veterinarians are highly reputable among the Orlando community, and respected among their peers.

Fantastic experience: This was our first visit to Loch Haven Animal Clinic. If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would. The whole facility is top notch and very clean. The staff was super friendly and caring. Dr. Martin thoroughly examined my two puppies and explained everything so we could understand. The level of treatment here made us feel like VIPs. We took a tour of the Pet Resort and I was happy to see how nice it was since my two puppies will have their first stay here in a couple of weeks. Thank you, Dr. Martin and staff for an awesome experience.

Fantastic experience: I found a stray kitten and called many veterinary clinics to see if I could get him seen. The people at Loch Haven vet fit us in and took great care of stray kitty! The staff there are very welcoming and friendly! The office is beautiful and very clean. If you are looking for a new vet check them out!

Fantastic experience: I am so grateful to Loch Haven Veterinary Hospital and Dr. St. Pierre. One of my cats was having an emergency and they saw her without an appointment and immediately took care of her — even though at that time we weren’t even their client! The veterinary practice I was using at the time (obviously no longer using them) said the best they could do was to see her the next morning when they had an appointment open. We’ve switched all 3 of our kitties over to Loch Haven and Dr. St. Pierre. She was amazing, the staff were terrific, and the clinic itself has such a pleasant atmosphere. They even have separate entrances for cats and dogs. I’m so thankful we found Loch Haven and I can’t say enough good things about them. I highly recommend this practice. ❤️

Negative experience: I went to Lockhaven to get my dog checked out because she has an itchy spot. I had told the doctor that she had already taken certain medication that he wants prescribed her again. I asked him if he could give her something different because that medicine didn’t work. He stated that he wants to try it out with an antibiotic and see how that works out. Now let’s get to the pricing they price gouge the hell out of you I went before and only paid $50 at another vet for the same medication that they are charging me $106.68. If you were to do the difference in amount of pills that there was it should’ve only been around 75 bucks with tax. I reached out to two other vets and they have confirmed that they are overpricing the medication. Not only that the doctors assistant told me don’t say anything to the girls in the front because they don’t handle the pricing, I even called him back when I was in front of the girls to cash out to show the price difference and he didn’t even apologize or care, they are not good at customer service people, they are price gouging everybody they don’t care about their animals what they care about is the money in their pocket I have sent an email showing the price difference to them and I’ve asked for my dogs paperwork both dogs and I have yet to receive it in my email and that was around 9:45 this morning, I will never be going back to this place ever again because the overpricing and bad customer service it is absolutely disgusting and revolting that people do this

Fantastic experience: A very sad visit today with my daughter as her cat, Fauna, had become so ill and suffering that intervention was needed. After examination and heart wrenching consideration, Fauna was euthanized. The doctor and everyone there were so very professional and empathetic. A very difficult experience, but they all made it as painless and tolerable as possible. Cannot praise Loch Haven enough. Gratitude abounds.

Fantastic experience: The tech (I wish I remember her name) covered my dog's eyes when Dr. Berger gave my dog shy dog her boosters. How sweet :) Very professional. Just beware of location - they are located off a busy street but staff will help you with your furbabies from the car to the door. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: This morning our dog consumed oil containing a toxic ingredient called "wolfsbane". We immediately called the animal poison control line and we were informed this ingredient was toxic and life threatening if consumed by both humans and animals. We were told to get our dog to a vet as soon as possible and that this was a life threatening emergency. I called Loch Haven Veterinary Hospital. I advised reception of the emergency. They were accommodating and told me to bring my dog in. They advised me of the fees. I arrived and was greeted immediately. The reception staff was attentive and got me into a room within 5 minutes. I was given new patient paperwork. I spent about 10 minutes filling out the paperwork. After finishing the paperwork I noticed that no one was stopping by to collect my paperwork or update me on when I would be seen for this emergency. After 30 minutes of waiting I thought that maybe I needed to take my paperwork to reception and that I had just missed that instruction. I left the room and asked the reception staff and was told that they collected that paperwork when I was seen. I was dumbfounded. I went back into the room and waited another 30 minutes and not one person from the staff stopped to check on my dog that was suffering from poisoning. After 1 hour of waiting in a room I realized that my dogs life threatening emergency was not a concern to the veterinary staff so I left to seek help. I left. I called another vet from the parking lot. After a 10 minute drive to a different vet I was seen immediately and my dog was treated. The other vet again confirmed that this was a life threatening situation where every minute counted. This was my first and last experience with Loch Haven Veterinary Hospital. I see a lot of 4-5 star reviews, but my dogs life was on the line today and they failed miserably. If you have an emergency situation with your animal I beg you to look for another option. Don't make the mistake of trusting this vet with your animals life.

Negative experience: Loch haven used to be passionate about their clients. Recently there has been a change. More protocol approach less personal. My dog had an emergency, possible stroke, this was two hours b4 they close. I was told they didn’t have enough staff to see him and maybe they could fit him in on Monday or we could take him to an emergency vet. Wow how callus and disregarding. After many years with Loch Haven we will not be back.

Negative experience: This has been our dog's vet since before we adopted him from our friends. He's a chihuahua, very sweet and has never bitten us or anyone. This was the second time we brought him there where they "couldn't" do the procedures he needed (nails clipped, ears flushed). He doesn't like those things, but I would presume medical professionals would be able to handle it. They said they didn't want to stress him out. I also had to collect his urine sample myself, not a big deal, but kind of weird. I'm not sure if that's a new protocol all vets observe now. Also the set up in the rooms is kind of weird, just a counter that would be too slippery and too high for a dog to stand on. They took him to a back room. I'd prefer to be there so he feels more comfortable, but again, maybe that's standard procedure everywhere. While we were there, my husband was reading the bill and saw we were charged for both the ears and nails, but they said they'd remove them from our bill. When we got the statement, we noticed the charge was the same so I called to get it cleared up. They had taken the pedicure off but didn't refund it, just kept the refund on our account but claimed that they did do the ears. I don't blame the doctor for not remembering that far back, but that should have been handled immediately. They did have several emergencies that day which is sad. The mistake on the bill isn't the main reason we're upset, it's just the last straw. Bottom line, we'll never bring him there again. They're expensive, but if the care was comprehensive it would be worth it. It leaves me feeling that if they can't/won't do basic things, what else isn't being treated? Having said all that, everyone is very nice.

Fantastic experience: I took my dog in this week for his first visit-a wellness exam. The facility looked new and was very clean, spacious and light with plenty of parking available. They have a separate entrance and lobby for dogs and cats which definitely reduces stress for everyone! The entire staff (vet, techs and office staff) was very friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and professional. They were great with my dog, took their time with him and were flexible in their procedures to ensure he was never pushed him beyond his comfort level-which I especially appreciated! They listened to me, answered all of my questions and I never felt rushed. Overall an excellent experience!

Fantastic experience: Beautiful facility with a separate entrance/ area for cats vs. dogs. Tender, responsive and professional staff from answering the phone, to opening the door, to private service from exam rooms to check out. Kind vet assistants and doctors. My sweet kitty felt comfortable. The exam rooms have super cute two story kitty boxes that are perfect for cats to hide and feel safe. We were both happy!

Fantastic experience: I have never experienced such a welcoming, professional, and personal veterinary service as with Loch Haven Veterinary Hospital. The facility is clean and beautiful with ample parking. Although my dog, Chanel, required vaccines and a blood draw, the staff were so loving that Chanel continued to actively socialize with them afterwards. Dr. Berger is amazing and Chanel loved her. I know that on our next visit, Chanel will be pulling me from her leash to try to get into the building!

Fantastic experience: Several years ago I was blessed with several opportunities to work with Dr Martin and his staff when they were moving from their original office and finally into their new location. After having met and worked them I felt and understood their dedication to serving their community by helping their clients pet family members. I immediately changed veterinarians and put my 3 dogs under their care and am glad I made the change. Today I had to take a 16.5 year old family member in with incurable old age ailments to finally be put to rest. Dr. Speicher performed the procedure gently with empathy and care. He grieves and understands the loss. Unlike other veterinary providers out there, Dr Martin and his staff aren't running a for profit production line. Fantastic experience: Everyone I've met has been fantastic, but Dr St Pierre and Allyson are absolutely SPECTACULAR!!!!! They took such amazing care of my Grace on her surgery day! And to say Grace is high strung would be a huge understatement! Cannot imagine taking her anywhere else for treatment.

Fantastic experience: I love Dr. Speicher of Loch Haven Veterinary Hospital. I have entrusted the lives of my last four dogs to him. He is compassionate, gentle and kind. He admits the few times he does not know something and diligently researches the answer and consults with other vets. He recognizes that all dogs are different, which my dogs seem to have appreciated as much as I have. He treats them as the individuals they are. I really like the other staff members I have met at Loch Have Vet, and the facility is always clean, odor free, and almost always quiet. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Came here for the first time with an emergency need for our new kitten that had urinary blockage. The staff was kind, helpful, patient with questions. The vet was gentle and made our cat feel calm and comfortable in an unfamiliar space. We look forward to making this our regular spot!

Fantastic experience: I decided to change vets and wow this experience was so refreshing. I love that the room that Harley and i were taken to had no sterile table and that Vet actually got on the floor with Harley. The vet was knowledgeable friendly. I can’t remember the text name but she was so sweet super nice very thorough. I know it’s kind of silly but I loved that they loved Harley so much.

Fantastic experience: They provide great care and have saved two of my dogs. One dog twice. They don’t doggy discriminate either and saved me from having my dog and me thrown out of my condo. They are very thorough and it can get pricey but if you let them know you don’t have a lot to spend they will work with you to do only necessary testing. They also take care credit. They go out of their way for their patients and their humans. Twice they have called in scripts for dog when she ran out of meds and couldn’t be seen for a couple of weeks. FYI: They also partner with affiliated veterinary associates if needed (they too are awesome).

Fantastic experience: Dr. Berger, Brandon, and the staff of Loch Haven are such loving and thoughtful clinicians for your pets. Not only are they caring, but they are practical and let you decide what you think is best for your pet. I have never waited more than a few minutes to get to a room for an appointment, and their staff is very observant of COVID-19 precautions - makes me feel like I'm safe, as well as my pets. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: This is the best service I've ever received anywhere. They are even better than my own human doctor. They saw me day of for an emergency and I'm not even an established patient yet. I definitely will be now that's for sure! They took care of him so well & treated him so fantastic I was kinda jelly his doctor is better than mine. Lol. They even ended up giving me a discount on the whole service and precipitations. I will definitely continue to use this vet and refer everyone I know to them as well. Thank you for taking care of Fudge and his war wounds on his back
