Dr. Vise is one of the most caring vets we’ve known. Even our 18-year old cat, Oliver, immediately took to her–he articulated his affection very loudly and showed his appreciation by sharing something of a personal nature. Despite all of that, Alina called him a “good boy.” We love Dr. Vise!

Fantastic experience: This is the second time I’ve utilized Oviedo Vet Care + Emergency, and I can’t recommend them enough. Amazing staff and amazing care. It is slightly more expensive than my regular vet, but for emergency care, it’s expected to pay more. Would give 6/5 stars if I could!

Negative experience: Awful experience took my cat here twice and finally they mention a triple test the second time I bring him in with symptoms of an infection to then tell me my cat has AIDS . Nothing was said after that other than sorry someone will be in with an estimate and then proceeded to just walk out with nothing else said about what needed to be done moving forward relating to my cat having such a serious disease.I think I spent a total of an hour and half here and had the doctor in the room for a total of no longer that 20 mins in increments the rest of the time I was sitting alone in a room or was being handed a invoice from the front desk girl who was the only one with some compassion. I left this vet in tears and with sooooooooo many questions. Do not bring ur animals here! You’re better off going literally anywhere else. I now have to find another vet that is hopefully more professional, compassionate, and isn’t making the invoice more important than your pet. Again I do not recommend this vet to anyone who actually cares about their animals well being.

Negative experience: They don't want to tell you over the phone how much the visit will cost and when you get there you're shocked, they're not honest and you end up paying more than if you would have gone someplace else, they add hidden charges.

Negative experience: They don’t have an emergency vet there overnight. It says they do but they will tell you “they are in an emergency until 9 am” . Very unhelpful front desk staff and rude.

Negative experience: Compared to the other branches of this Vet chain, these people are scammers. Completely unnecessary vaccines that they don’t even give you the option for and spill half of onto your dog so they don’t even get the full dosage, changing the prices when you go to actually pay, and slow as molasses for simple tasks in a near empty building. I would never recommend this vet to anyone. You are simply a number and they will take the most money they can out of you.

Positive experience: Our 3rd visit. Unfortunately it always feels like they are all salespeople trying to continually upsell you on medications and treatments. Took our dog this time for a limp on his left front paw, almost left without a diagnosis but with a $600 bill full of medications that had NOTHING to do with his condition. They did save his life last year after pumping over a pound of sand from his stomach, so I can’t say it’s all bad.

Negative experience: My neighbor went there on a Tuesday with a 5-year-old Greyhound. They diagnosed her with pneumonia. 5 days later, they took her to a different emergency vet as she was starting to not be able to walk correctly. Found out she never had pneumonia! Six DAYS after being misdiagnosed, she crossed the rainbow bridge with cancer. Had this vet not misdiagnosed her, they would have had a few days to love on her and be able to say their goodbyes properly. This vet took that away and cost them a whole lot of money for absolutely no reason. Never ever use them!

They are always attentive to all 3 of my fur babies. Vet visits can be expensive but they are always willing to accommodate you. 10/10 would recommend

Positive experience: closed on Monday but hours say it's open; nice staff but a little pricey. They have been changing location(s) and it wasn't clear online. I imagine I'm not the only one confused by the change.

Fantastic experience: Came here for our dog Sunny. They are so friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. They were so loving and caring to our dog and explained prices, procedures, and answered our questions. I highly recommend it. We live an hour away but will be bringing our dog here for his visits. The building is clean, quiet (for the most part), and easy to find. Thank you to the Oviedo Veterinary staff!!

Negative experience: I had been taking my dog here because I liked that they had an ER with access to my dog health records. Everyone was great, and understood that I love my dog. They worked with me to take care of her within my budget until I had to deal with Dr Rivera. Dr Rivera refused to help me when I had questions about the medication her office approved. She also prescribed my dog painkillers meant as sedatives for humans. My dog had not shown any signs of pain with her current treatment. I don't trust her. My dog doesn't trust her. She had an air of ineptitude, and seems in it more for the money, than the well being of the animals.

Fantastic experience: So, I have a dog who has pancreatitis, so I’ve been to the emergency side of this practice several times. I started coming here mostly because I heard of you go to their regular practice, your emergency visits are cheaper. I’m so glad my cheapness led me to this great place! My husband brought my dog for her first visit, so I don’t know much about that one. But I went last week because Sassy, my pancreatitis queen, had been having diarrhea for a couple of days. I have known for probably a year now that she won’t be around for long, so I never know if the next visit will be when we need to put her down. From the second I walked through the door, I felt like this office would do right by my sweet Sassy. The receptionist, Kate, was friendly and attentive and got me into a room right away. Then the tech, Shawn, came in and discussed what had been happening with Sassy. He asked so many insightful questions that I actually thought he was the doctor! Then Dr. Rivera and another doctor (might have been shadowing or training with her), Dr. Brue came in. They just plopped down onto the floor and played with Sassy while they went through her whole history. It felt very nice and disarming for me. Like I was chatting with a friend. They were all so understanding and nonjudgmental. In the end, Sassy most likely has mammary cancer as well. But Dr. Rivera said she still is very lively, so she thought it would be fine to take her home and let her enjoy the time she has left. Two things I didn’t mention: it was also VERY easy to get an appointment, and I know everyone’s names because I asked for them knowing I would want to leave a review.

Fantastic experience: One of our cats was showing signs of a possible kidney issue or crystals so we took her to this vet-we were able to get a same day appointment on a Sunday. Our vet tech, Sean, was really sweet and so gentle with our cat. Normally she is very aggressive at the vets (which we informed them about beforehand) as it's a stressful environment but Sean took her to an unused suite to destress her before they started taking samples. She was perfectly calm and happy and Dr. Fernanda was the first vet she was calm around. Dr. Fernanda and Sean were incredibly sweet and took really great care of our cat Esmeralda!

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff and very helpful. I emailed them on Sunday to get a well check for my dog that I had been told by another vet needed to be euthanized. They got me in the next morning and gave my dog all the care and attention as if she had been going there forever. They told me euthanasia was not warranted at this time and sent her home as a hospice case. Thank you Dr. Kim and staff, I am forever grateful for your kindness and honesty.

Negative experience: Very disorganized when you walk in and when you’re ready to leave. No one seems to know what they’re supposed to be doing and they’re not friendly / don’t greet you kindly. I’ve been a few times and the entire environment feels very unprofessional.

Negative experience: They perform surgery on TNR cats and don't provide appropriate injectable pain medication....cruel and unacceptable...this policy needs to change!!!

Negative experience: Just walk in, no appointments. They said it’s only ER, even if it’s not something serious. And they charge $150 for this. What’s funny is that when you go there you have to wait for a long time and most of the time you only see the nurse/technicians, not the actual veterinarian. Healthcare is a joke for animals too around here, unfortunately.

Negative experience: This one lady that works there is very mean, she lives nearby the vet hospital. Prices there are slammed high at and they think that they can get away with it because it's technically "winter springs". Literally gave this place one star because it's trash and people look at u weird here.

Negative experience: The vet that worked with me was VERY rude. Idk her name but she had short short hair. She talked to me with an attitude the entire time. Then she tried to add on a ton of things for my dog, when I made it clear that I was just there for flea medicine. The cost of all the extra stuff she tried to add on came close to $1000. When I said I couldn't afford it she gave me more attitude. I hope I never get stuck with her again. All the techs were very nice and helpful.

Negative experience: Omg the worst experience of my life. I brought my dog there because she had cluster seizures. Someone came out from the back and said we need $850 up front. I had to beg to know why and ask who pays for something at a doctor's office before it's done. Who pays for something before telling you what it is you're paying for. The doctor had the worst bedside manner and told me her staff are professionals and its protocol, I said it's protocol not to be nice? She rolled her eyes at me. I will never come back here. I wish I knew who to report her to. I guess her Google reviews will cost her in the end.

Fantastic experience: This was hands down the best vet I have ever brought my dog to. The vet tech was A M A Z I N G!! I didn’t catch his name but he has an accent. He explained to me and my fiancé everything he was going to do and what we were paying for in detail. He was so nice and kind and did an amazing job on my dog!! Highly highly highly recommend!!! 10/10

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love Oviedo vet care! They’ve helped us through basic vet care as well as emergencies and tough times. We’ve worked mostly with Dr Kim & Dr Griener and both ladies are wonderful. They always take the time to hear out our concerns and go above and beyond when caring for our senior girl. The vet techs are wonderful too - Ashley and Cara are always super sweet and give my baby so much love. My dog is my child, my entire world... We used to go to a big chain store’s vet clinic and Didn’t receive even close to this quality treatment as we do at Oviedo. We won’t bring our girl anywhere else. 10/10 recommend for your fur babies

I found out of this place thru the web and ever since got my new puppy Marchello Max I have taken him here Dr Astrid Rivera has been outstanding with my pup she met him at 2 month with 3.4 lbs and today he ended up all his vaccines he is 4 month weights 13 lbs it’s been a wonderful experience wouldn’t take him anywhere else. Positive experience: So I want to start off this review by saying that the tech we had yesterday was amazing.. her name is Jovi (I am unsure of the spelling so I hope this is correct) she is one of the most compassionate humans I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She deserves the world and more. Now for the negative.. I've met a few veterinarians in my life, all of which have been nice people who I was okay with being around because they understood the gravity of the situation and remained compassionate, yet realistic throughout the meeting. Dr. Kim is not that. I really wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt, but after my husband and I told her multiple times that we could not afford the treatment for our cat as we'd already spent every penny we could spare in this economy, she still kept pushing for it. I understand that she didn't want to see a young cat go so soon, I really do. But her bedside manner was absolutely atrocious and nonexistent. She asked if we wanted to euthanize and I told her (while crying through most of this interaction, mind you. That's how rude she was) that of course I don't want to but it's looking like our only option. She then started going over the expensive treatment plans again, and I just broke down and lost it. I admit, I did kind of yell at her but who wants to put their sick pet down?! No one I know wants to, but when it's the only option and the vet is borderline yelling "well you don't want the treatment, what do you want me to do?!" You just kind of die more inside. It's like she was getting some sort of power trip by trying to get me to say "I want you to euthanize my cat." Again, THAT'S NOT WHAT I WANTED AND ANYONE WITH A HEART WOULD KNOW THAT. She then started to say that she couldn't pay for the treatments but we never asked her to! She was so incredibly rude and unprofessional, someone like that should not be working in a care facility of any sort. We did ask her to leave and asked for another doctor and she did eventually comply. The manager Grace came and spoke to us and she was very sweet, as well as very understanding, which is something you should be in this job field. I'm not sure of the name of the doctor who did help us afterwards, I never did meet them. Due to the costs of the treatment, we did have to opt for humane euthanasia as it was our only option and we had done everything else we possibly could afford and none of it was working. Jovi, I thank you for making my sweet biggie boy's last moment a good one. You are one spectacular human and my husband and I are blessed to have had your support throughout the whole ordeal. And Dr. Kim? I hope you rethink your career choice or take a lesson in empathy.

Positive experience: I took my two chihuahuas to this veterinarian and I was impressed with how they operated. They actually sat down on the floor with my dogs while they examined them, and was playful making it out like it was playtime. my dogs felt very comfortable, I don't even think they realized they were at the veterinarian. usually their tails are tucked between their legs, and they're shaking, and shivering because they know where they're at, but here their tails were up wagging they were happy and playful. This is definitely going to be where I bring my dogs from now on if you really care about your babies I mean if you really care about him you shouldn't take them anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: This is a great wellness center for pets. First time coming here was amazing. Oreo and I felt very welcomed. They interacted with Oreo very well and he loved it! They were also very helpful with providing information for a first time pet mom. Prices weren't at all bad. I recommend coming here with your pet. It definitely feels like a second home.

Fantastic experience: I have had great experiences at both the wellness center and the ER. All of the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. They apologized for any wait in the ER. When my cat had to stay several nights, I received calls regarding his progress and detailed information and instruction upon release. The vet tech was very patient with my questions. When I took my kitten to the wellness center, the vet took the time to explain how to make the vet’s office the best experience it can be for her. I will never take my animals anywhere else <3!
