Fantastic experience: This is Bob. He just got out from an appt at the Vet. I'm very happy with the service I've gotten from Oviedo Vet Care. The nurses there listened better than my personal primary Dr. listens to me. Thanks for helping me have more time with my bestest buddy Bob. He's all I got.

Negative experience: Called to get help with my dog and decided to go elsewhere based on the very cold and uncaring nature of the woman I spoke to over the phone. I would never want to leave my beloved pet in the care of someone who very clearly lacks empathy.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about this place. Yes it was expensive but that's what you would expect with an emergency. EVERY staff member was so patient with me, Ally, Angeline, Liz. I wish I had everyone's names. The lady at the front desk, super nice!! The techs and doctors took all my calls and gave me updates constantly. Love the picture text I received as well. Thank you all so much for taking care of my Joey!!

Negative experience: We've used this clinic a few times and I had a few negative experiences already... Well this week was the last time we'll ever go. After a 880$ xray and consult the vet still had no clue what was going on, not ever a hypothesis. She said to do a blood test, I asked if we would know after the blood test...she responded that she was not sure and we might need to do an explorative surgery. At this point even the vet tech had a better idea of a likely diagnosis. I left this Oviedo clinic with my dog to go to Veterinary Emergency Group in Winter Park, and I'm glad I did. Not one time they separated me from my dog, they sat on the ground and did all the care and exams right by her and I. Within an hour they had a diagnosis.

Positive experience: I will start this off by saying my cat got excellent care while with them for 3 days. They sent me a picture and they also allow you to visit with your pet while it is hospitalized which is good because my kitty wouldn't eat for them. Those are the pros. Now the cons. My cat was obstructed and couldn't urinate. They told me that he would need to have a catheter for three days. The estimate came back at 4200 including cat food that was overly priced. I told them I couldn't afford it and they came back with another estimate for 2400 but only had 2 days hospitalization and not the three they told me he needed. I told them that if he needed the three days that I would pay the extra 400 to keep him there the 3 days. After a couple of days they told me that they have already reached the high end of the estimate and that they still recommend the three days. They had ran additional tests and an appetite stimulant. I didn't have a problem with them running additional tests if they had run it by me in advance, my objection was that they did it without checking with me first. The option they gave me was to pick him up then or pay another 400 dollars to keep him there another day like was supposed to happen with the original quote. Again my complaint was them not contacting me first. I was pretty angry but felt that if my cat needed the 3 days, that he was going to get it. I didn't pay all of that just for him to have the same issues again right away. I paid the money to keep him the full time but my bill was increased much more than their estimate. After all that, when I called to state I was picking him up, they wanted to keep him an additional 12 hours which would have added another 180 to the bill. They were really trying to milk it to get it back up to what I couldn't afford in the first place.

Positive experience: The doctors at this location saved my cat Yoda after his gallbladder ruptured. Overall, our experience was good, given the circumstances, and I am so grateful for the amazing care he received. Every doctor I spoke with throughout this ordeal was kind, compassionate, and thorough in their explanations of Yoda’s progress except the very last doctor I spoke with tonight when we picked him up. I believe their name was Dr. Carson, and they were short, borderline rude, and didn’t hide the fact that my asking to speak with them was a terrible inconvenience. Dr. Carson didn’t give me the brief summary of Yoda’s progress I was used to receiving from the other vets, which I don’t think is a lot to ask given that Yoda beat some very slim odds and racked up a five figure bill. They simply asked me what questions I had and quickly answered the few questions I could think of off the top of my head as if I should know the answer already. If Dr. Carson was not familiar with Yoda's case and did not feel comfortable providing a brief summary of his current condition, I would completely understand and would have respected their judgement. But to treat someone who just went through two weeks of hell like they are a burden for asking about their cat who almost died is shameful. Dr. Carson or whatever your name is, I’m sorry if you’ve had a bad day or have something going on in your life that is weighing on you, but you know for a fact that the owners of the pets you’re treating are also going through tough times. I highly suggest you adjust your tone when speaking to pet owners in the future because your negative energy was palpable and I can guarantee that you will get the same energy back tenfold one day, if you haven’t already.

Fantastic experience: Literally saved the life of our newly adopted cat from a case of feline parvo. Remained calm and courteous throughout the entire ordeal and worked with us through the whole thing. Comfortable environment and excellent staff. Even dug up numbers for contacts with the shelter we had adopted from so we could alert them. Obligatory cat photo included.

Fantastic experience: My kitten has had chronic diarrhea for almost 5 weeks now and her previous vets were unable to find the issue. I brought my girl in to the emergency side because she was having to use the litter box every couple of hours and having liquid diarrhea. The entire office was clean and brightly lit (needed because it was the middle of the night and I was so tired ), the staff is so kind and compassionate. I even saw them walking around holding my girl like a baby (her favorite way to be held ) while they ran all her diagnostics. The doctor listened to my concerns and agreed with me about the things I wanted done. I feel much more hopeful about getting this cleared up and my kitten healthy again. Bonus they had free coffee/hot chocolate in the lobby :)

Fantastic experience: Beyond thankful for this vet. Our dog Berkley had to stay a couple nights and ended up having to have emergency surgery. The doctors saved our little boys life and everyone there was incredibly helpful and answered every question we had. Thank you so much. HIGHLY recommend this vet. Especially Dr. Cosgriff!

Negative experience: They missed something major that led to the death of my death. We are beyond devastated. They have showed us no compassion. They have been rude and argumentative from the get go. They wouldn’t even give us discharge papers when we had him transferred. They also owe us money that they said the office manager would be in ouch about and we have heard nothing. I asked for his blanket back and the reception said well I can check but idk. I said well you guys have it and she said well I can check and get back to you. I asked when can expect a call back and she absolutely refused to give me even a time of an hour or two which makes sense because while my dog was there I had to continuously call over a 7 hour span to get a video of him that they told they were going to send right away showing his condition because they wouldn’t not let me see him. When I was on the phone asking for it again they sent it while on the phone and then tried to gaslight me and say well we already sent it. If you want emergency vets that know what they are doing and care about your pet go to VEG. They figured out in one hour what Oviedo Veterinary Care and Emergency couldn’t figure out in 15 hours.

Fantastic experience: My regular vet referred me to Oviedo this morning in an emergency situation and how fortunate I am to have found them. I could not have been better cared for anywhere! The front staff, Tatiana, and Dr Cosgriff were all caring and concerned for both my cat and for me. I highly recommend this group for your pet’s care in both routine and emergency situations.

Fantastic experience: This amazing team truly saved my dog's life. We initially came in because my dog had eaten chewing gum containing a toxic ingredient, but their thorough examination revealed a massive tumor that was collapsing his spleen right at that moment. They performed emergency surgery and kept him for three days to heal. He's now happy, healthy, and spleen-less. Their attention to detail is the only way we would have known about an underlying issue. I am incredibly thankful to this team for saving my boy's life. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone that needed emergency care.

Fantastic experience: One of my beloved kitties suffered a dog bite and needed immediate care. They took great care of her and got her stitched up and on antibiotics. I felt very confident while she was there that she was being taken care of. Everyone at this office was very kind and patient. Totally recommend

Fantastic experience: What an amazing veterinary clinic! My daughter and I are new to the area. Our beloved 10-year-old big fluffy orange kitty became very sick and we were so worried not knowing where to go. The entire staff was very friendly, professional, and compassionate. Robin at the front desk was wonderful! The vet tech, Crystal was extremely helpful and Dr. Carlson was very knowledgeable. She spent a lot of time explaining everything to us and made us feel extremely comfortable. We were advised by Robin they have a wellness clinic as well. So now they will also become our vet for both regular visits and emergency visits! Fantastic experience. We highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing. From the front desk to the vet techs to the vets. They handled my ridiculously dramatic husky with flying colors and the price was very reasonable for a drop in emergency visit. Super impressed!!!

(Dr. Williams and Dr. Cosgriff), the techs (Liz, Summer, and Angeline), and the receptionists (Robin and Belle) were all so wonderful providing the best care, as well as keeping me calm. Fantastic experience: Such an amazing and helpful team here! I’ve been in a few times but have never been let down, they are always so attentive and reassuring. I’m an anxious cat mom and they never make me feel like I’m overreacting and they always call afterwards to check in. Most recently I had robin and gabby I believe and they were wonderful as always!

Fantastic experience: We took our baby here for an emergency as she was vomiting everything and pooping blood. From the moment we got here the staff were amazing, always super sweet, asking important questions and working with us and more importantly her. We ended up having to leave her overnight, I was heartbroken, but they assured us she would be in great hands. We took her home the next morning. All I can say is they saved her life, took amazing care of her, and were always great at communicating, even sent us a picture to show us she was ok! 10/10 recommend, especially if you love your pets, they will take great care of them. We had been to a different emergency clinic about 5 days before we went here and the experience was the complete opposite, so we were skeptical but super happy we decided coming here. Definitely coming back if we ever have an emergency with our baby! They even worked with us financially because me and my boyfriend are full time college students so we have enough to get by, emergencies like these can be challenging and stressful and they worked with us and lent us a hand when we needed it most. We trusted our baby was safe in their hands and we could sleep peacefully!

Negative experience: On July 31st, I visited this Emergency Vet at approximately 5:45-5:50 pm with my dog, who had a laceration on his ear from rough play at a local dog park. After explaining the situation to a team member, I emphasized that cost was a significant concern for me as I have limited financial resources. I specifically requested an estimate of the total costs, aside from the exam fee. The young lady informed me that she cannot provide an estimate before the exam, as the doctor would need to assess the injury to determine the appropriate treatment. I asked for an explanation of the treatment options available for a laceration. They informed me that the options ranged from gluing, stapling, stitching, or, in rare cases, removing a piece of the ear if necessary. This information was clear and understandable. However, when I requested a rough estimate for the potential cost of each treatment scenario, they repeatedly failed to provide one. Despite my numerous requests, they were unwilling to give me even a ballpark figure, leaving me completely in the dark about the potential financial implications. This lack of transparency and communication is unacceptable, and it felt as though they were more interested in keeping me uninformed rather than ensuring I was fully prepared for the potential costs. Their disregard for clear communication and customer service is truly appalling. They adamantly refused to provide any cost estimates for their services without first charging an exam fee. Despite my repeated requests for at least a rough estimate or range, they insisted that the only way to get any information was to pay for an exam. This practice seems designed to pressure potential customers into paying for an exam fee before learning that the solution might be unaffordable, potentially costing thousands of dollars. This lack of transparency is concerning and feels like a tactic to trap customers into paying for services they may not be able to afford. I have no issue with the $150 exam fee; however, what I do take issue with is the lack of transparency and practicality in their treatment planning. The exam felt like a bait-and-switch tactic—it became evident how this place operates: they charge you an exam fee upfront, then hit you with the shocking cost of treatment, leaving you feeling trapped. If you decide to seek a second opinion elsewhere, you're faced with yet another exam fee. This tactic feels manipulative and unfair, exploiting people at their most vulnerable moments. It's a disgraceful way to do business, and I would caution anyone against using their services. It's crucial to find a provider who values transparency and honesty, not just profits. I have never felt so disgusted and angry in my life. Under no circumstances should anyone be taken advantage of, especially when they make it clear from the start that cost is an important factor. As a responsible pet parent, I went in to understand the potential costs for an emergency to make the best financial decision for myself and my beloved pet. This should be seen as a responsible approach, not a negative one! The lack of empathy and understanding displayed by the staff was not only disheartening but also revealed the true priorities of this business. I sincerely hope that one day, everyone associated with this practice and company finds themselves in a position where they need to seek care for a loved one while facing financial hardship. Perhaps then, they will understand the impact of their actions on vulnerable individuals. Fantastic experience: I absolutely love everyone here. I brought in my English Bulldog who was in heat stroke. They met me at the door, got him in and immediately started working on him. I did not think he was going to make it home. The front desk girls are the sweetest girls I have ever met. All of the Techs were in and out checking on me and giving me updates. And the vets called me to give me updates when I had to leave him over night.

Fantastic experience: My dog Pickles has been here several times of emergency & for all of his regular check ups! The staff (Robin & Alexis) always welcome you with a HUGE smile and treat you with kindness. They have every type of treatment on site and help you guide you through each step of the service. They also break down prices and show you different treatment methods and never push you to do anything you cannot afford. My family will forever appreciate Oviedo Vet Care & Emergency and am so thankful for all they have done to keep my dogs safe and healthy! Even when coming to the vet, my dogs still wag their tails in excitement when we pull up!

Fantastic experience: I took my sweet Beamer in around 11pm as he wasn’t eating and super lethargic. Turns out my sweet boy had a ruptured mass on his spleen and needed immediate surgery. The staff were amazing, got his IVs going immediately, spoke with me about the options, even let me see my sweet boy before surgery. Around 3am we got the news he had pretty aggressive cancer and there was an additional mass encasing his kidney. Again, the doctor was straight forward and informative, let me know my options and gave a reasonable time frame of how much time Beamer would have for his prognosis. It was exactly a month I would call the doctor at 1am with news he was having breathing issues, again, she was very informative on what was going on and realistic with the next steps. That same night my baby crossed the rainbow bridge. I took him in around 4:30am and the staff were very kind and attentive, even at that hour. A few days later we received the sweetest letter signed by the staff with their condolences and we later picked up Beamer’s ashes in a lovely urn and it even came with a clay paw print. I couldn’t think of a better place to have brought my baby to. He was so very loved, it was only right to take him to a place with such kind and caring staff who prioritized his well being and this is absolutely the place.

Fantastic experience: Came this morning with my injured Rottie and received service from Alexis and Robin. Super friendly and kind to my kids and I and our sweet Rottie. We’ve been here before a few months ago and had the same experience. Staff always great here.

Negative experience: Incompetent, greedy & unprofessional. We truly believe we would have lost our baby if we left her in their care for another day. Dr. Carlson performed a foreign object removal surgery that cost us thousands. When our dog did not fully recover, Dr. Carlson advised cutting her open again. We asked about if they could perform an endoscopy & were told the machine was out for repairs. We checked her out immediately & took her to the University Of Florida Small Animal Hospital where she was nursed back to health. After this awful experience, the staff still attempted to collect more on top of the $3500+ we paid. Don't let the name fool you, this is not a real hospital.

Negative experience: I normally do not write bad reviews, but this is to warn others who cherish their pets as I cherished mine. I brought my dog in and she was ill. They ran tests on her but she died within an hour of us being there. They charge around $200-$250 just to relay what they see on scans, on top of the hefty price for the scan! After all the money spent, not only did my dog die, the vet said she could not find anything that caused her death. When the vet said my dog was crashing, she suggested that I euthanize her. I asked how much longer does she have, vet said any moment she will pass. The vet brought her out to me, my dog was barely breathing. I tried to spend the last moments embracing my dog of 14 years while the vet kept pressuring me to euthanize her even though she was about to die. While she was trying to convince me to euthanize, my dog had already died in my arms. I felt like I was being pressured to spend more unnecessary money. But worst of all, I was not able to cherish those last moments with my dog. Oviedo Veterinary Care and Emergency lacks compassion and will overcharge you.

Fantastic experience: Dr Osman was patient & understanding. We were going through an incredibly rough moment, having to make decisions we were not prepared to make. He offered to go out of his way and make exceptions to make it more comfortable for our Bloodhound and to ease our minds. Inevitably we decided to bring our pup home to pass. Luckily it's been a few weeks and he's still hanging on :) but today I thought it would be good for me to leave a comment for the office.

Fantastic experience: Primary vet suggested I take my cat to an emergency vet due to a ruptured mass (they were closing soon). Everyone from the front desk staff, vet techs, to the vet herself were so kind. She was honest with the severity of my cats case but also compassionate. Unfortunately, he crossed the rainbow bridge. I felt comfortable and taken care of the whole visit. Thank you to everyone who took care of my sweet Noah.

Fantastic experience: The doctors and team at this emergency location were fantastic. When I unfortunately had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to my beloved kitty of 12 years, April, the doctor was kind and informative about the options and prognosis. She answered my questions honestly and reassured me when I decided to move forward with euthanasia. The team moved us to a quieter and more comfortable room where they gently went over the procedure and aftercare options. Once we had completed the necessary paperwork they left us alone in the room to say our goodbyes and take final pictures and spend all the time we needed with our baby girl. And when it was finally time to let her cross the rainbow bridge the doctor was gentle and soothing as April took her final breathes. She confirmed that even after she passed her body would not be left alone and I trusted her and her team to take special care of my fur baby. They were even kind enough to get clipping of her fur and a nose and paw print. This team made the toughest decision a pet owner has to make and the hardest day of my life go so much smoother than I ever thought it could go. April, I will love and miss you forever. You left paw prints on my heart and I thank the team at this clinic for making your last day comfortable.

Fantastic experience: This Vet emergency clinic is amazing, all the nurses and doctors are very nice, and welcoming. My family and I came with our dog diamond yesterday about her paw, with all the matted fur on her. They took amazingly good care of her. They really came through for us THANK YOU EVERYONE!!

Fantastic experience: Our dear Luna was very sick with 17yrs old and we were recommended this place. Thank God for this place. The doctor was very compassionate and the receptionist as well. It was our first time and we felt very very welcome. All staff was patient giving us all the time to say good bye to our furry member of our family. The doctor even told our luna “it is ok baby girl” while he was doing his job. Believe me it did this a lot easier to handle. From all like 5 people we have to deal with this only one was kind of whatever and showing no signs of empathy., and since the team made us feel very welcome we are not going to disclose her. Fantastic experience: Our cat had urinary blockage and the vets here were very patient and friendly and provided us different treatment plans based on our budget.

Negative experience: This place was horrible. We brought our Cat in here because we told them our child shook the cat and they said NO it’s not that the cat is HIGH like what and then proceeded to take a drug test WHICH came back Negative and still insisted they keep the cat to observe over night because it was high and they new it was high because the cat farted and the fart smelled like marijuana this place only cares to lie and charge people thousand thousands of dollars for nothing. DONT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE!! The reception old lady in the front was very very rude Lisa or Linda I believe her name was and the medical assistant Paula was an idiot to say the fart smelled like weed after the MD that looks like she is on Drugs said the test was negative

Fantastic experience: Your team’s care and concern for not only my Piper but also me during a terrible time was outstanding. You made a traumatic life experience comforting, informative, supportive, and less srressful by helping me through every step. 10/10 so grateful for this new location in a time of need. Plus the facility is so well maintained and sanitary.

Fantastic experience: I was a vet tech for 7 years, 3 of which were emergency. I have very high expectations when it comes to emergency animal medicine. The staff at OVCE did everything right. They were compassionate and quick to stabilize my 16 year old dog’s end of life emergency, making him as comfortable as possible. Communication was clear, prices were fair and the hospital was very clean. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: An amazing clinic to come to with any concerns you have for your fur babies!! They are honest and straight to the point, which is something you don’t come across very often. I came in 2 months ago and loved it better than any other clinic i have been to. Don’t double think of traveling to this clinic or even choosing this as a primary location for emergencies

Fantastic experience: This is my third visit with this wonderful Clinic. All have been emergent visits for my Cats. Unfortunately the first two visits I had to let my girls go. 4/18/2024 was for Munkin and Robin, Alexis R, and Dr. Williams took exceptional care of my Munkin and me. I am beyond ecstatic that the Oviedo location is so convenient and open 24/7. The facility is state of the art and so welcoming. Everyone is genuinely down to Earth. Not going to lie, none of the visits have been cheap but isn't our furbabies worth it. If ever your furbabies are in need, even for routine care, please take them to Oviedo Veterinary Care. Fantastic experience: This place deserves beyond 5 stars. My cat, Greyson was having a really awful breathing problem. He was open mouth breathing, not sleeping, and drooling every where. I was worried he wasn’t going to make it. When it comes to Greyson, I’m willing to spend whatever I have to keep him happy and healthy. However, I was getting more and more concerned as the vet bill was slowly climbing. This is at no fault of the Vet, but more so because they had to run a lot of tests to ensure everything was okay with Greyson internally. Greyson also needed to stay overnight for a few nights. There were a lot of Techs and Vets behind the scenes taking amazing care of my Greyson, but there are a few who really left a lasting impression on me. Tech Ben G. - when I came in to pick Greyson up earlier than recommended, Tech Ben was very empathetic toward my situation and conflict of trying to afford Greyson’s vet bill but also ensuring he is coming back home at the right time. He worked back with Dr Jones (who is also awesome) to look at my invoice and really trim off what wasn’t necessary for Greyson while extending the time he could stay there at a feasible rate. Tech Ben was amazing in looking out for what was best for Greyson and we are very grateful for him. He made me feel comfortable too with him being there longer with his positivity and reassurance that Greyson was doing better. Dr Osman - Dr Osman was cognizant of the fact that my budget was tight. He looked over the my invoice frequently to really determine what was absolutely necessary to get Greyson situated. He saved me hundreds of dollars. I can’t say all of the doctors there will do this for you, but Dr Osman was extremely considerate of my budget. He also updated me VERY frequently. Outside of the updates, he was the one who figured out what was causing Greyson’s abnormal breathing and was able to get him pretty much back to normal with it. He is absolutely brilliant. Tech Ashley S. - Tech Ashley legitimately loved Greyson. She showed me how many photos and videos she took of him, she told me stories about his stay with a big smile. It warmed my heart to know my little guy was spending time with someone who really admired him. She also cared about how much I was spending and made that very apparent. A couple of others that I wanted to mention, thank you to Robin and Alexis at reception for calling to check up on him even after his visit. Thank you to anyone else behind the scenes. After thinking I was going to lose my little guy, this team of amazing people came together to make sure my fur baby was back to normal. I can’t express enough gratitude toward this place!

Fantastic experience: The staff here is FANTASTIC. I've had to make a couple visits here over the past two weeks, and every time the staff has treated my cat and I with the utmost care and efficiency. A trip to the emergency vet can be an alarming experience, so I really appreciated how empathetic and personable everyone was. Shout out to Robin at the front desk for being extra caring and kind. I appreciate you all!

Fantastic experience: When our regular vet was out of the office, we took our sick pup to Oviedo Veterinary Care on Church St in Oviedo. From my first call, to arriving on-site, Robin made me feel at ease. She was kind, compassionate, and patiently listened to my worried rambling about our Gigi. First impressions are everything, and Robin ROCKS!!! Our vet tech, Elizabeth, and the doctor were fabulous and provided great care. I could tell that everyone at this veterinary office truly loved animals. I would highly recommend this emergency animal hospital to anyone looking for kind and compassionate service for your fur babies.

Fantastic experience: 4/20/2024 My family and I brought our sweet puppy Harley in due to a dog fight that resulted in her getting severe injuries. I called on the way there and they greeted us at the door and ran her inside as quickly as possible. They worked so hard but unfortunately her injuries were too severe and she crossed over the rainbow bridge. The staff were so kind to us during this horrible time and we are so thankful for them trying to do everything they could for her, they told us our options for afterwards and we decided on a cremation, a clay paw print and got to pick an urn for her. I have been to an emergency vet before (when I lived down south) and I have some trauma from it because the bills were so extraordinarily expensive, to stabilize was $800, but here? No more than $350. Emergency vets are going to be pricey, but this place exceeded my expectations. All in all we did not go over $1,000 and that included the cremation, paw print, and urn. They even sent us a handwritten card from all their staff members in the mail. We are so thankful for the compassion we were shown throughout this whole experience and I recommend this place to anyone in the area whose pet needs emergency care.

Fantastic experience: I will forever recommend this emergency vet clinic! They had sanitized room ready knowing I’d be on my way with newborn puppies. They immediately took my dog back and started assessing-not to waste time. Every person I met was prompt and timely while still being personable and treating me and my bunch with care.

Fantastic experience: Robin, Alyssa, David, Alexis, Asia, Dr. Marissa Brue, Dr. Adams, Angeline were all AMAZING to us when our munchkin ate an onion. This team at Oviedo ER has saved us numerous times and I’m so thankful for them!!

Negative experience: PLEASE READ IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET. Think twice about coming to this animal hospital if you don’t have thousands of dollars in the bank or excellent credit to take out predatory interest rate credit cards to save your pets life. My sister brought her cat here to have an emergency bladder surgery that cost over 3k that her as a college student doesn’t have just to save her cats life. Fast forward few months and the problem happened again, this time she didn’t have the means to pay thousands of dollars again for the same procedure- the Dr.s solution was to call someone else or they can Euthanize the cat, the cat was less than 5 years old…. It makes me sick that places like these only care about money, the vet kept saying how expensive it is to run such a facility and there was nothing she could do, other than kill the cat for free, which is what ended up happening. Do your self a favor and support small mom and pop animal hospitals that are willing to help you and your pet and not only concerned about making thousands of dollars off you. Shame on this facility and shame on the Vet running it. Just awful

Positive experience: We had an emergency with my JRT in the middle of the night and took him in. They attended to him right away and took excellent care of him. Yes it’s a bit pricey but all pet ERs are that’s just a given. It isn’t any different than a hospital emergency room. The staff is wonderful and the place is immaculate. I would recommend to anyone needing emergency care.

Fantastic experience: Very nice place... staff is very welcoming/friendly and helped carry my big cat in and out. Gave many options for treatment on animal. BEST OF ALL: They gave this older gal, a very much needed "senior discount." This place is much needed in the area.

Fantastic experience: I had to bring my cat Merlin in with a urinary blockage on Wednesday and have had the best experience with Oviedo Veterinary Care and Emergency. They were referred to me by my normal vet once we knew that Merlin would need a procedure done to unblock his system. Once I got in, the receptionists Robin and Alexis L. immediately got Merlin back and prepped for his procedure while they checked me in up front. They were so kind and patient, especially Robin when I was splitting the payment between two separate payment methods! We have had calls every day updating us on Merlin's progress, will definitely use again if another emergency comes up :)

Fantastic experience: We took our dog Ryder to this clinic. The staff was awesome! Dr Adams, David, Robin and Ben were so caring and helped us figure out how to help our fur baby feel better. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Alexis l, Robin, Brie, Dr. Williams are very awesome they all helped me in a very hard situation they all are very caring and understanding. We also lost our collar that was our previous dog that passed away and they all found it after we lost it we were so happy I highly recommend them for any emergency. They all are very amazing. Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Oviedo Vet Care and Emergency and all the staff there. I have been here a couple times with my babies and every single time the staff is very kind and caring and helpful. The doctors are great and keep you up to date on every next step they do. It’s very reassuring especially coming in there a wreck when one of your babies is sick. The receptionists are so sweet as well, and I appreciate every single one of them. A shout out to one of the receptionists, Robin. Robin went out of the way to help me when I came early in the morning to pick up my boy and showed me how to use the fancy coffee machine and even gave me directions to a few of the breakfast spots around the area while I waited for him to be discharged. Thank you for going above and beyond!

Fantastic experience: I have a senior dog who is now a chronic patient so we have been here four times within the last year. His primary care also works here part-time so we know that he is always in good hands. The staff are always so kind and understanding of his high anxiety needs (one of the staff is a dachschund owner too so made an immediate connection with my dog). Highly recommend this team and the new facility looks amazing! Thank you Dr Caja, Robin, Alexis L, Nicole (and as always, Dr. Smith)!

Positive experience: Both veterinarian’s excellent. Pick-up scheduled for 2:00 pm, 2:20 receptionist said they are busy. Mocha has 5 puppies 5 weeks old home alone. Not impressed. Stars for actual vets.

Fantastic experience: We brought our beautiful baby girl into the emergency hospital at around 5 pm on Monday (4/8/24) with catastrophic internal injuries (cause unknown). Unfortunately out baby crossed the rainbow bridge late Thursday night (4/11/24). We knew that the prognosis was very very bad but the veterinarians and hospital staff did everything they could to save our baby. They we so committed to doing everything they possibly could and treated her with love and respect until the very end. They were available at all hours of the day and night to not only care for bonzai but to answer any questions we had. I absolutely wish we had a better outcome but we knew going in that we would likely lose our girl. I would recommend this facility to anyone in the area who needs emergency vet care

Fantastic experience: Brought my kitty Kirby to the church street location Dr.Williams was amazing and explaining everything thoroughly The entire staff was extremly personable and friendly our tech Alexis R was loving all on Kirby and Robin and Alexis L were extremely helpful with figuring out billing and working out the payment with me! Would recommend that everybody bring their pets here they will treat your pet like they’re child and are awesome!!

Negative experience: My Wife and I took our 8 year old Chihuahua here tonight 3-14-2024 and paid $681 to have her looked up for trouble breathing and they kept pushing xrays for $325 and I asked 3 times why we needed xrays and the young tech said let's get the exam from the doctor first and the doctor never came in the room and he returned and said the doctor recommends xrays so I agreed and every time he came back into the room he had a new bill with a new price and when the vet looked at the xrays and then Dr. Jackie Clark came into the room she talked about everything but our chief complaint which was the breathing problem so then she recommended $190 worth of medicine which wasn't even for what we came in for and they also charge you a 3% fee for using a credit card and I asked why isn't this disclosed in the paperwork and she replied really rudely that it is in every room and she the tech what room we were in so she could prove that it was on there and when we went into the room she said it's right here on this card and I said show me where it says 3% for credit cards and she said it should be on there and she would get it addressed. I will not ever bring any of my 4 Chihuahuas back here even if they were dieing but I paid them the money they requested but I would recommend anyone looking for a good emergency veterinarian please save yourself some money and aggravation and take your animals somewhere else because I definitely will be going somewhere else. They only want to play on your heart and take your money.

Fantastic experience: They are amazing! I brought my dog here because we believed she had an obstruction. I was calling every day for the pass week speaking with Allyssa through out the whole time I would call for information and she would provide it happily when she finally met me she was so happy to see us bring our pup in especially knowing the whole situation due to allyssa and I have been communicating throughout the week . the BEST customer service I have ever seen in a vet and I mean the whole staff is amazing they truly care about your dog treat them with gentleness and love . Doctor Robin was amazing she was the main one treating my fur baby I cannot put into words how much information she would provide knowledge she would give she did everything possible to not put my fur baby through surgery to avoid us hurting our pockets or creating and trama for the pup it was just such a great experience all around they really put themselves on our position and I cannot be anymore great full just amazing work . Doctor Caja also amazing telling me about how I can avoid or help my pup from getting constipation again if anyone is looking for a place this is it I looked everywhere and they were the best price and the best vet we’ve been hands down I will not bring my pup anywhere else but here and trust me we called so many vets and from the moment I called them they started providing information and steps that no one else was providing. Do not hesitate to come to this place again do not hesitate they will not disappoint you from the moment you open those door

Fantastic experience: I took my one year old pup to this vet after he was experiencing a vomiting spell. Our vet tech and doctor were very professional and good at giving clear instructions. Anastasia at the front really helped calm my nerves. We are hoping to get our dog feeling better soon.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience! My pup was shaking from extreme pain, so we needed immediate help. I didn’t even finish the paperwork, and we already had a diagnosis and a treatment. They are very gentle and caring personnel and the best doctors!

Fantastic experience: I could not be anymore greatful for this team , after calling three other emergency vets and no resolution , Oviedo vet care and emergency where literally angels ! My dog was having puppies and was in a dangerous situation and they were there to quite literally save her life and the puppies ! Thank you so much for your quick response and eagerness to help . All 6 puppies and mom are doing great .

Fantastic experience: We’ve really enjoyed our experience with this clinic. They took care of our puppy Hope so well. She broke her leg around 12 weeks old and they helped us quickly when our personal vet couldn’t. The office staff is friendly and welcoming. We came in for bandage changes and X-rays to closely monitor her healing. Their prices have been reasonable and work well with our family of pets. Any other vet emergencies we have we’ll be bringing our crew to this clinic.

Fantastic experience: This emergency vet was so sweet and professional. Brought in our cat at 10pm due to her shaking and they did an emergency X-ray and saw that she needed immediate surgery. They got it done and now our baby is all healed and happy again. You can tell they really care for animals and will do what it takes to help. I would recommend this vet to all of my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: I went in because my baby was very sick having a bloody diarrhea etc. The whole experience was 10/10! Sometimes I feel like here in many clinics they just look at your dog without doing any exams and charge an arm and a leg, but over here they did the exams needed and really made sure my baby was ok! And to top it off they called 3 days later to make sure my dog was doing better, which I thought was very sweet and shows that they care! In my opinion for the exams and medication, the price was worth it and definitely not expensive!

Fantastic experience: I went to the Oviedo Veterinary Care and Emergency. And they were amazing . All the workers were nice and had great hospitality. They were so nice and kind to our 12 year old Pitbull Luna. And I would one hundred percent recommend and come back.
