Experiencia fantástica: I had a really lovely experience taking my new cats in after trying to find a new vet. Can’t speak for some of these negative reviews as I was just getting them vaccinated and establishing care, but if you’re tryna find a new vet in your area, Sploot has treated me and my fur babies very well so far :) I was able to get an appointment within a day, quick service, and my kitties were inspected in a thorough way; found out my one cat had ear infections in both ears that my previous vets hadn’t caught for years! Very thankful for the Sploot team.

Experiencia negativa: I wouldn’t recommend this vet office. While the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, I didn’t feel like they were up for the job. I brought a young kitten in that I needed to be tested (and treated if necessary) for fleas, worms, etc. I also needed them to weigh the kitten and determine the sex of it, and instead the vet just sat on the floor and fed the kitten treats from its carrier. The vet said they couldn’t do anything because it was hissing. I kind of couldn’t believe it to be honest, but I didn’t know what to say in the moment. Then, when I went to check out, the receptionist told me the visit would be $99. Luckily, I had found a promo code online to make the visit free, so that part was fine, but it still rubbed me the wrong way that they’d attempt to charge customers for that type of appointment. The vet literally did nothing? All the vet said was come back in 4 weeks and sent us home with no new knowledge of what to do with this kitten. I’ve since talked to an animal shelter and they also couldn’t believe nothing was done at the appointment. I was a bit disheartened to be honest! The experience all around just made me feel like they’re only there to cash a paycheck and aren’t confident in dealing with the animals.

Experiencia fantástica: Sploot has been such a great supportive vet care clinic in all of my pets emergencies and preventative care. There are may locations so in a pinch you can just travel to another neighborhood to be taken care of at a much lower cost than the emergency vet can be. We have always felt taken care of!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Callahan and Kendall were so patient with my dog Miko! He has a lot of vet anxiety and they took their time to make sure he was comfortable and able to get all his vaccines. You can tell they truly care for the animals they see.

The staff and team of vets + techs are so great, they’re always so friendly and helpful. You can tell they truly care about the animals they help treat. As long as I live in the area, I won’t be going anywhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: When I called Sunday morning as a new patient, I was immediately impressed by the detailed triage they conducted over the phone. My dog had started showing signs of illness Saturday night. Although concerning, it didn’t warrant an emergency visit. With work on Monday and most vets being closed on Sunday, I was so grateful to find Sploot. I was able to get a same-day appointment, which made a stressful situation much more manageable. They offer urgent care without the price tag, which was a huge relief. Dr. Frederick Manson and his team at the Logan Park location were amazing. From phone triage to discharge, the entire process was seamless. The staff and doctor were empathetic and supportive, engaged in what I was saying the entire time. They were professional, informative, and took the time to thoroughly explain my dog’s condition and treatment plan. They answered all my questions and gave me confidence in the care and follow-up plan for Penny. The facility was clean and modern, and they took extra precautions to ensure the safety of all pets. This included isolation measures for potentially contagious patients, use of personal protective equipment, strict sanitation protocols, and, as soon as we walked out of the room, they immediately began thoroughly cleaning it. I also received a detailed aftercare summary immediately following the visit. I will be switching my pup’s primary care to them and highly recommend this team to anyone looking for compassionate, thorough veterinary care.

Experiencia fantástica: Tony, Osama, and Dr. Korput really worked with me to bring my poor critter back from the brink!! After a scary emergence vet visit, Dr. Korput diligently monitored his progress throughout the month and even checked in via text when I wasn’t reaching out. The great progress was even celebrated with a certificate— totally unexpected and appreciated. Will always trust this team.

The prices are more than fair for Logan and everyone was extremely transparent about what I was paying for and why. The nurses and Dr answered all my questions and made the experience for me and my cat happy and relaxed. Trust is everything in the pet care world and yall have far exceeded that!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve had pets my whole life, and I’ve never had an experience with a vet like I have at Sploot. They are amazing. So friendly and kind, the space is super clean. They’re always willing to work together on the best care for your situation, taking into account what is necessary for your pet’s wellbeing but also your finances. They’re straight forward about the cost of care, and never pressure us for anything unreasonable. We’ve been taking my cat here for the past few years and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. Our nurse Ali was incredible and made us feel so comfortable and cared for. Our Vet Dr Dohanics walked us through our options in an empathetic and rational way, taking the time to explain our current and long term options. We are so grateful for their fantastic help! Most notably, the vet tech (I am so sorry I didn’t get their name) offered to let our whole family hear Angus’s heartbeat during the intake. It really meant the world to us. Thanks for the care through this heartbreaking experience.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been using Sploot since I arrived in Chicago last year. Hands down the easiest, kindest vet office I’ve ever been to (and I’ve lived in several different states). The staff always feels like family, the doctors actually take time and make sure we both are completely comfy with everything that’s about to happen. I’ve been to the one in Logan square and Roscoe village. I love that I can just text them with questions and get answers/appointments. This is exactly what CARE looks like, I recommend them for furry family members. Shout out to Osama! Teddy says thank you for his certificate!

Experiencia fantástica: I’m so glad we came to this vet - we weren’t already clients but brought our sweet Lenny here to be put to sleep. Dr Callahan, all the nurses and clinic staff made it such a peaceful and beautiful experience. I had been dreading the appointment but everyone was so caring and treated Lenny with such dignity. They gave us all the time we needed, and sat with us to share stories about Lenny and his life throughout the appointment. Even without being familiar with him, they honored him and our lives together, and gave us the most peaceful and comforting goodbye we could have had. Experiencia fantástica: Taking Kayla, my cat, to the vet is always quite stressful. However, visiting Sploot in Logan Square makes the experience more comforting, as they thoughtfully address all my questions and ensure she’s doing well. Overall, Kayla behaved very well during her appointment.

Experiencia negativa: Very kind staff on the surface, but I have not experienced prices like this at any vet I have ever frequented. I am not frugal when it comes to my pet, but it seemed like they thought I was coming in on a budget because of their reaction when I was hesitant about the astronomical quotes they were giving me. I came in for an annual and one rabies shot. My cat’s ear was itching him so I asked if they wouldn’t mind seeing if it was bothering him, they said it would be over $650 for everything. After acting like I was being frugal, they “took some stuff off” and brought the price down to $450. I don’t know what the added fees were or expensive services they were originally trying to sneak in. Of course, I paid, and I was cordial and kind. I know those working there don’t set their prices. I respect they’re just doing their job and there are no hard feelings there. I was supposed to go in for a ‘follow up’ on my cat, but I don’t trust them and their pricing. They didn’t tell me what the price would be for said follow up, and given their history, I don’t want to walk out of there paying $400 again. It felt like a designer, luxury vet office where I can get the same service elsewhere for at least half the price. It is such a shame that they take advantage of people in the economy. If a pretty office and friendly faces justify the wildly inflated prices, I do recommend this place. Otherwise, you have other options.

My 11 year old cat, Kitty, has had some health concerns over the last year (cancer, mass growths, bladder issues) and everyone at Sploot from the check in clerks to the vet has been incredible every step of the way! Kitty has never done well before at the vet and has had traumatic experiences - but does really well here! I believe it’s a reflection of the care they give and kind energy of everyone there! Experiencia fantástica: Best experience ever had at a vet. New puppy parent so I don’t have a lot of experiences with vets, but the few other experiences I’ve had elsewhere have made me a lifelong patron of Sploot Logan square. Within 24 hours of scheduling an appointment for my 8 month old puppy that had injured her dew claw, they thankfully prompted us to come in as soon as possible for treatment. They enthusiastically managed my very energetic puppy and took care of her needs within an hour of our arrival. The situation had me very anxious, as it could have been avoided had different decisions been made, but the team of care providers at Sploot talked me through every step that led to this outcome in a way that wasn’t throwing blame at me, and was focused on ensuring my dog was properly taken care of. We treated a broken claw at home for a few weeks and it unfortunately led to her dew claw getting injured, they reassured me her broken claw was healing very well, but her dew claw needed to come off. The procedure was done very quickly and I’m thankful to have such a compliant puppy that let them do their work uninterrupted. For her bravery my puppy got a purple paw award that will live on our fridge, and a few extra tennis balls. All this for half the price that another vet quoted us for treating the original broken claw that we ended up treating at home. The team at Sploot Logan Square truly cares about their patients and has our back every time we see them. Thank you again to the whole team!

Experiencia fantástica: Some months ago, I had an excellent previous experience with this Veterinary Clinic when me and my wife were looking for a second opinion regarding or senior dog and her health situation. Excellent service, kind and professional staff. We felt heard and reassured. Once again, we chose Sploot Veterinary Care for our new rescued dog, Tita. I like how easy is to make an appointment, the availability they have! (Same day or next day even!) They are open on weekends and that's such a relief for tight schedules like ours. The staff is amazing. Tita was taken care by Dr. Manson and Vet Tech Osama who were amazing. They answered all of my questions And concerns. There's follow up after the appointment by the staff membera via texts. They also are very honest and clear about the costs of procedures and they give you estimates before you decide on anything. We're choosing this place for our future veterinary needs.

They treated him with love and care and were very informative and helpful. I was assisted by Dr. Choca and Ali M. The front desk guy was great too but I didn’t get his name.

It was our first time at Sploot and we were very impressed with the modern facility, the thoroughness of Dr Cruz-Rincon and that we were able to get an emergency appointment on a Sunday. Because of this we will be making our local Sploot (Oak Park) our primary vet (we recently moved and need a new primary vet). Thanks for looking after our girl Jessie!

Although they provided minimally acceptable care, it came at significantly inflated prices, higher than all other veterinary services I have received to date, their pricing was not transparent at the time the services were provided, and the customer service was poor. If you have no other choice, perhaps this is an acceptable option, just be prepared to be disappointed.

Experiencia fantástica: Noticed what may have been a serious issue with my dog and called last night at closing time. Sploot was able to get me in the next morning. The vet techs were so nice and made my anxious dog feel great. The vet was also great.. She spoke about the course of action clearly and through my 1000 questions. She also discussed pricing before hand which was nice. The rooms were also so nice and super clean with a great couch to sit with your dog and do vitals with. . Just a nice touch. I highly recommend Sploot and you should not hesitate to bring your precious family member to them.

Experiencia negativa: WARNING: This is a private equity-backed chain that prioritizes profit over care The staff are great and I have received good care from this place before, but the policies are overwhelmingly designed to squeeze you. I arrived just 5 minutes late (for the last appointment of the day) and was hit with a $100 late fee. I understand it was the last appointment of the day but I honestly would’ve preferred to never had the appointment offered to me in the first place and for them to just close earlier. Between that, the general high prices, and the push for their new $350/year subscription, it is obvious they are just trying to get more money out of people. Good facility, but I recommend going somewhere else. To the PE owners at corporate: This is a really dumb policy and will lead to lots of churn. May your LTV be low and your CAC high. Never going back.

They were the ones who helped diagnose my dog Hachi with EPI after months of not knowing what was causing his weight loss and they’ve continued to take amazing care of him ever since. Just yesterday they helped me with an ear infection he has and got him the medication he needed. They’re always so friendly, patient, and kind every time we come in which is so important to me considering how timid and nervous my Hachi is. Ruby, the nurse who helped us yesterday was so sweet and made everything so easy. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better vet for my dog. I really appreciate everything they’ve done for us!

Not only were they exceptionally professional and thorough in their analysis, The doctor took time to explain every result back from the tests and gave me a wide range of next steps that fit within my financial means. This gave me a sense of control and impact that I was still able to help my fur baby and not stress about the rest. She also was able to call the emergency room and help convey my cats results over for a seamless transition to the ER. Even the ER team was impressed by the information they received ahead of my arrival. I really appreciate the doctor both being upfront and not sugarcoating the diagnosis, while still having a ton of empathy and empowering me to make the best of the situation. Another HUGE shout out to the front desk/admin team for helping me out with the payment details. Everyone was very knowledgeable and optimistic and really just made a tough visit so helpful.

Hands down Sploot is the best. They have many convenient locations. The staff is very helpful with appointments and payments. But most importantly I like and trust all of the Doctors and vet assistants that work there.

ALL of the staff at Sploot Veterinary were so helpful, kind, and informative. They really helped make a stressful situation less stressful. Experiencia positiva: They have hours listed until 8 but close at 6. My dog got injured and if their hours were correct I wouldn’t have had to consider going to MedVet and spending a ton of money because I could have shifted my schedule around. I was then told that they just put online the standard hours for all their practices rather than the actual hours. Terrible practice for a veterinary group. That being said, the people there are friendly but corporate needs to think about how they run things.

They gave her a bravery certificate for getting blood drawn which was super cute. Upfront about cost and didn’t try to talk me into tons of tests. Will continue to use them as my vet!!

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately, I can’t speak to the quality of care provided here because I wasn’t able to make it to my first appointment. I’m a new cat owner, and after reading so many positive reviews, I was excited to establish care for my cat at this clinic. However, after nearly an hour of trying to get my former stray cat into a carrier—he was clearly extremely distressed—I called to explain the situation and ask if any exception could be made to the late cancel fee. I spoke with a woman named Kelly, who was polite but ultimately unhelpful. The only useful suggestion I received was to look into in-home veterinary services—which I will now be doing. I’m genuinely disappointed by how this was handled. For a clinic that advertises compassion, I expected more empathy and willingness from Sploot to help in a situation that was difficult for both myself and my cat.

My dog gets really anxious at the vet and he was actually so comfortable with everyone in the office. They were so helpful with dietary recommendations. I went for an urgent care visit, but I will be going them for my dog’s primary vet.

They were so kind and informative from calling to make the appointment, to the doctor, and the lovely other workers we encountered while being there. They were able to help with an issue we had and we left with an appointment as well as a very detailed quote for the next service. I feel much better knowing my baby will be in good hands and will continue going back.

Experiencia negativa: I’m extremely frustrated with the lack of consistency and communication at this veterinary office. Two months ago, I called to schedule an allergy shot for my dog, only to be told I needed to book a full wellness exam first. I complied, scheduled the appointment, and during the visit, I explained that my dog was scratching a lot and had bumps from her allergies. Nothing about the visit was treated as “sick”—it was simply what they told me I had to do to get her allergy shot. Fast forward to today: I called again to schedule the shot, and they told me I needed another wellness visit because the last one was marked as a “sick visit.” When I tried to explain that it wasn’t, they insisted that it was and that I needed to schedule yet another full exam. It feels like they’re more interested in getting money out of you than actually helping your pet. I already did what they asked and now they’re trying to charge me again for the same thing. Very disappointed and won’t be trusting them with my dog’s care going forward.

Experiencia fantástica: My pup doesn’t have much experience with the vet, he’s just under 2 years old. So his biggest issue was the floor, he has problems with hardwood and shiny floors - walks across them like an ice rink. When he got to the room, he jumped up on this deep leather sofa and made himself comfortable. Mariah S. came in soon after and she let him stay on the sofa where he was comfortable and surprisingly cooperative! She spoke to me as well to ensure all my concerns would be addressed with vet. We did not have to wait long until Dr. Callahan came in. She also allowed him to stay on the couch and she was able to maneuver around him with the help of some peanut butter. All my questions were answered and they are extremely convenient to our home. I’m glad we were able to find a good primary vet! Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: I was pleased with how they responded to Bowies unhappiness when they attempted the blood draw. They quickly assessed his resistance and engaged with plan b for us to come back, and with the help of some sedatives, hopefully have an easier time next time. Within a few minutes of returning home, Bowie was back to his chill self.

Experiencia fantástica: From walking in the woman at the front desk, to Hailey & Dr. Morgan were awesome. Eased my anxiety, were so thorough in the evaluation, what my options were & made sure all my questions & concerns were answered. They provided me with options for treatment & patient with me. Not to mention wonderful with my cat!

Experiencia negativa: Unorganized LIARS. They will try to upsell you but won’t return your calls or your pharmacies calls to get your pets prescription. I’ve now had to follow up over 7 times and still they have not filled my pets prescription like they said they would for simple flee and tic medication. Instead they want to allow my dog to suffer!!! You will pay top dollar here and they will be unhelpful.

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly staff, they try to keep appts on time as much as possible and we know emergencies happen too. It’s clean and modern and in Logan Square. There is no parking lot like the one in Roscoe Village… the locations all work w each other so it’s nice that way like a centralized health care system… would be nice if our human health system and the individual hospitals functioned so smoothly together:-). Parking is on the street w ParkChicago app and $2.50/hour plus the $0.35 fee if you park less than 2 hours at a time. And my rescue cat Dani the polydactyl from San Francisco CA got cat treats! Dogs also get treats if they want. What a nice way to help pets feel comfortable. An evaluation is $99 and if you have multiple pets, each one could qualify for a $49 discount for a new pet evaluation.

We were checked in promptly and taken to an exam room right away. We didn’t wait long for Dr Sarah. She was gentle and thorough. Pricing was transparent which I very much appreciate. We were in and out within 30 min! Highly recommend Sploot especially the Logan Square location!

At her first visit with Dr Manson & Hailey, I was shocked at how calm & relaxed she was! They were extremely kind, gentle and patient. Always very clean facilities and I have bad allergies and it’s never been an issue. My dog always thinks his going somewhere fun when I take him there , he doesn’t even realize it’s the vets ! Super responsive to texts and emails - incredible . I highly recommend Sploot!

We were greeted kindly at reception and both Dr. Manson and the accompanying tech/nurse (I cannot remember her name!) took great care of our cat. We really appreciated the clear explanations by both attending people, and we appreciated the pricing transparency. Overall, it was a positive experience and we will return if needed!

The vet and his colleague expressed appropriate concern, explained options, and made me feel they really care for their patients and pet owners. They made sure my questions and concerns were answered before we left.

Experiencia fantástica: This was our first time using Sploot for their services, and an urgent situation on top of that. However, we did not realize our dogs shots were a few months overdo, and the team handle our situation with compassion and care. We were not made to feel shame for being behind, nor for the ingrown nail on our dog that we came in to address. They were very clear with the price quote for the services needed and also let us know we had a few options for taking care of everything. We plan to switch all of our animal care to Sploot after this visit.

Experiencia fantástica: Sploot - Logan Square is fantastic! My neighbor recommended them after she had an urgent cat issue - and they were so accommodating with my urgent cat issue. I’ve only ever taken my cats to cat only practices - so I was slightly worried about a cat/dog mix. They were AMAZING. Both the vet and the tech were kind, gentle, and extremely thorough. More importantly - they were HUGE on education. I’ve never had a vet actually sit down and show me how to do certain things (like eye drops) and it was very, very helpful. The education and teaching makes all of a difference when it comes to at-home treatment and I’m so grateful for the new skills I learned. They were lovely from start to finish, and I’m honestly considering switching to them for primary care and not just urgent needs.

Unfortunately my regular vet was booked so they were unable to see her in a timely manner and referred me to this office. Sploot had flexible openings and were able to fit us in. From the warm greeting to the amazing tech to the absolutely best vet I have ever met , Isabel. My dog and I were both so nervous but left relieved and had a game plan moving forward. Experiencia fantástica: We’d had a rough Labor Day weekend with our little super senior; a bout of vomiting out of nowhere, a broken dew claw and unable to get a quick appointment with our primary care provider we turned to Sploot! Experiencia fantástica: This vet location is phenomenal!!! ✨✨The staff is so nice, caring and nurturing. Starting from the moment i walked in to the moment i walked out with my dog Oso. The guy at the front desk was so patient, understanding, He had me checked in and out in a timely manner and answered all my questions i had. Ali was fantastic with Oso she loved him from the moment she saw him and he loved her from the moment she gave him yummy treats. Let’s just say he was being spoiled rotten with all the love he was receiving, which slightly helped to keep him at ease and not be so anxious. Dr. Callahan was exceptional she listened to all of my concerns, understood what i was feeling. Was very gentle with oso while she was examing him she gave him his space when he needed it. We came up with a plan together on which treatment route to go with to get oso feeling better again. Oso and myself appreciated what you all did and will continue to do so in future appointments, cause we found our new favorite vet office. We also loved his goodie bag and certificate of bravery he recieved after the visit.
