Experiencia fantástica: I had chosen this Hospital because they do boarding. The staff were very nice and helping. Our dogs had thier first boarding and they took care of them. I look forward to having them stay again.
Experiencia positiva: It was time to say goodbye to my pet. As much as I usually love this vet and think they provide great care, this experience was really disappointing. During such a vulnerable moment, I was quoted $500 for euthanasia, which felt overwhelming. I later found a pet cremation service that quoted me $180. They’re wonderful for routine care, but I’d recommend exploring other options for end-of-life services so you’re not facing such a high quote during an already heartbreaking time.

I am curious as to who you spoke with. We do mot charge $500 for a euthanasia alone. If you are including the cremation cost with the euthanasia, the cremation price is not set by our clinic, this is set by the cremation company, Pet Angels. We welcome our clients to utilize their own cremation services when they choose.
Experiencia negativa: I have an emergency, been setting here for 3 hours... There also apears to be people with appointments starting to complain. The real sad part is I already know what is needed (common cat problem) but you can't get it without seeing a vet

Experiencia negativa: Had an appointment. First visit . I was there very early. I was only acknowledged by one worker, although there were several workers walking around. Had 1130 appointments. Four people walked in after me and was seen before me .. I just left. Btw the older lady on the phone was rude as you can here her talking crap about a rescheduled appointment. Unprofessional

Experiencia negativa: A while back I had word ear infection medicine from chewy. It was approved the next time that I ordered I was told they had not seen my dog in more than six months so I took my dog in. It was over 200 and something dollars for no vet medicine and a vet tech. Most recently he developed were started to develop a new ear infection so I once again ordered my medicine from chewy. When I called to inquire about the reason for the denial this time I was repetitively told my dog was not seen since September 24. I told the young lady that that’s not true that my dog was brought In his ears was cultured and medicine was prescribed. She then told me that that did not count because the doctor did not see See my dog, the young lady behind the counter commits to tell me that she was not going to argue with me and that no prescription would be done until my dog visited the vet. I explained to her that I was very low on funds and have been very low on phones, but still I was denied. I felt her attitude was less than professional, and I absolutely will never do business with them again my biggest complaint is that pup has been there and now he’s nine years old before hanging up, she informed me that he was to be scheduled for follow up to see if the medicine was working. It’s my opinion that when you check out, it is the job of the vet and the vet text. I’ll check out to tell me I needed to get a follow up that I was never told.

Experiencia negativa: If you want your pet to die take them here my son and mother in law both lost their 3 year old dogs 3 days apart because the vet waited too long to send them to a real vet don’t walk away from this vet run they will let your pet die they don’t care they need to be reported to the humane society and health department they are just in it for the money not the welfare of the animals

Experiencia fantástica: My cat Smokey must get a shot every month for her Stomatitis. They make it so quick & easy for her. This is an amazing Vets office. EVERYONE is great from front staff, to Vet Tech, to Drs to check out. They know what they're doing & the clinic doesn't smell like dog. I adore the staff & Drs at Beltway. They are all the best. Friendly, kind, get ya in fast & take great care of my cats!! Camile, vet tech & Julie front desk are true assets to Beltway!! My Smokey has Stomatitis & they are helping her live a better life. They truly care about your babies.
Experiencia negativa: If you are Hispanic, be careful with the people who work at the front office. The woman named Julie was super rude simply because she said she couldn't understand me . I tried to explain things to her many times, and she was aggressive to me. She didn't have the kindness and patience to try to understand what I was saying, and besides being Hispanic I feel that my English is good and the people can understand it, and they can always tell me to repeat it again.

I will NEVER go to another vet again. The entire staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs & you can tell they truly care about the service they provide in this community & the love they give all their patients (both human & furry babies). Experiencia fantástica: I came here years ago with my own pets. I recently inherited two fur babies when a best friend passed away, so I didn't think twice about bringing them here. I called on a Saturday morning and they saw the dogs the same day. They were super friendly, attentive, helpful and patient. This was the entire experience throughout the visit. This may not be one of the chains with the bells and whistles, but the doctors and staff are experienced, love your pets the same way you do, and the experience supercedes the commercial experience you get at the "big paw" places. You should check them out of you're looking for care, and consider switching to them if you aren't satisfied with your place of care for your pet.

Everything that’s important, Caring and compassionate work team, time of service (even though they are busy, their time management is on point) , fair pricing and cleanliness. Experiencia negativa: During an office visit for another animal, we were quoted a price of $135 to spay our baby cat. Took the cat in to be spaid and when I went to pick her up I was presented with a bill over $500 us dollars. There were no complications before, during, or after the procedure so I was dumbfounded by how much the bill was. And was told I couldn't take the cat until the whole balance was paid. The billing part was explained to me as if I were a five year old child by one of the rather unfriendly ladies that work the front. Love the doctors but the way they gouged us on the price was dishonest and you should be ashamed of yourselves for doing folks dirty like you do!

Supper fast visit and the staff are unbelievable amazing. If you are trying to find a new vet don’t hesitate to call them and ask them what needs to be switched over! DO IT. MAKE THE CHNAGE. Experiencia fantástica: I've been taking all my dogs to Beltway for 25 years and June , Jane ,and Ms. Brown have always been veterinarians you can trust. We've had tiny breeds as well as large ones ,cats to, and the have always been there for us. We drive a good ways to see them cause it's worth it. The staff is so sweet and helpful as well. Trust is the key when it comes to our fur babys health.

Experiencia fantástica: This was my first visit to Beltway with my senior dog. The staff were wonderful! I adopted my mother's dog when she passed away and moved to Jacksonville. I went to an animal hospital close to me. I was unhappy with the Dr. Only. When it was time for his next yearly I went to Beltway. Everyone, from the front desk, technicians, and Dr.'s were fantastic! They answered every question I had, made both Max and myself feel comfortable and cared for. They explained everything, and their prices were very reasonable. LOVE THIS PLACE! Thank you!

Experiencia negativa: Wait times over our last several visits have been ridiculous. We left today after sitting in the waiting area well over an hour after our appointment time. Based on recent visits, I would have to expect waiting in the exam room for another 45 minutes- hour. Each time the staff gives the same excuses, along with the occasional eye roll. It seems like they’re overbooking while accepting any & all walk-ins.

Experiencia positiva: 11/19/25. Went in to buy a new $80 bottle of supplements for my dog at 2:50 on a Saturday, door was locked and they would not take my business. Forewarning they may close prior to end of office hours. Extremely thankful and grateful for the entire kind staff here. They were there for me recently in a desperate time of need. I have my kitty scheduled for her spay and while I’m nervous for the surgery I do trust them after multiple visits with my dog and cat. I know they love animals and are in the field for the right reasons. It can be busy, loud, and a long wait in the waiting room but it’s worth it and they have fair and reasonable costs. You can be seen the same day but appointments are better :) Spay surgery went 100% perfectly. My baby girl is happy and healthy.
Experiencia fantástica: Have a new fur baby and have been taking him to Beltway since I got him. The ladies there are so sweet and caring. All of our appointments so far have been great.
Experiencia negativa: We purchased a older puppy from someone that couldn't keep him. When we called to get his records the receptionist was very rude, saying that we broke the law by buying a puppy with out a health certificate and refused to give any info. Had my vet call and they refused to give them any info also. Will never recommend or use there service. Seems like fake reviews on Google compared to yelp

Experiencia fantástica: I have to thank the vet and staff for getting us in on such short notice for a big emergency. My girl was vomiting and diarrhea that was blood. Started so suddenly. I called to let them know the situation and immediately came in after the call. Was taken immediately back even though we didn't have an appointment at the time. She was then hooked up to IVs and given meds to help her. She was diagnosed with HGE (Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis) She had to stay the whole day on IVs and they kept me informed how she was doing through the whole day. But because she still wasn't over her sickness by the PM she needed to go to an overnight ER for more fluids and care. They helped me find one nearby that I could take her to and luckily they called in to let them know we were coming so baby girl was able to get rehooked up quickly without a wait. I couldn't be more thankful for them getting her in quickly any longer she may not be here today. Thank you to the vets and staff for saving my girl.
Experiencia fantástica: Had to get my 5.3-pound Morkie puppy neutered. Scheduling an appt was easy and fast. All the ladies in the office were friendly and professional. You can tell they really care about animals. They called the next day to check on his recovery. The pricing was very reasonable. I also got a microchip and nail trim at the same time. They also offer boarding and grooming. I am bringing the rest of my pets here. It is further to drive for me, but we'll worth it.

As we explained to you in the examination room, we had multiple sick patients that came in on emergency and had to be addressed before your appointment because they were critical cases. Experiencia fantástica: I've been taking my dog here for years now and they're great! I've never had an issue getting a same day appointment for anything we've needed. They're very caring and accommodating. They even have given me follow up calls to check in on how my dog is doing after being seen and placed on new medication. My dog is even happy to see the staff any time we come in. I highly recommend them to anyone I know!

Experiencia negativa: I have been a client at Beltway Animal Hospital for over 20 years and am deeply saddened to watch them become more about money than compassionate care for animals. They care more about getting money now than helping out an injured or suffering animal for the sake of that animal's best interest and well-being. They just shoved more and more clients on the books and care less for the people, animals, and quality of care. I'm truly heartbroken to see and experience this after so many years or service here. I can no longer recommend this vet office to other people.
Experiencia fantástica: I'm a truck driver from California and before hitting the road I had my female chihuahua undergo surgery with our home vet (spay+mammary tumor removal). A day after her surgery I left for work and brought her along with me as I usually do. I noticed that her stitches may have became infected so I looked up the nearest vet to me which happened to be this one. I called first thing in the morning and they were able to make an appointment for me that same day! (This was a relief to me as it was a weekend and usually vets can be packed during the weekends) the staff here were so very kind and helpful, the vet and vet assistant listened to any concerns I had and were very understanding, they were able to provide me with antibiotics & a cleanser for the stitches. She understood I would still be on the road for the next couple days before I could make it home and take my dog to her primary vet so she let me know that I could always email her pictures if I had any further concerns! Beltway truly went above and beyond to help guide me and my furbaby through this recovery! This was my first time in Florida and I was treated with the utmost care and kindness!

Experiencia fantástica: I can’t recommend Beltway enough! If I could give them 20 stars I would! Not only do they give my babies the most excellent care, they take care of their neurotic Mom to! I tend to get crazy emotional about my squish faces and the Dr’s and staff never fail to put me at ease and explain every step and every detail as they go. I had to take one of my girls in today for a small scare, these guys were so amazing with me and my girl! Even staff members who weren’t working with me today stopped to check on us, they are so genuinely sweet and caring! She’s now resting peacefully and I’m at ease knowing she’s on her way to feeling better thanks to Beltway! (Photo just cuz they’re cute)
Experiencia fantástica: I can’t even begin to explain how amazed I am by this place. The staff firstly, absolutely amazing, caring and extremely knowledgeable. I had a huge scare this morning with our boy Ruger, and they told me to bring him right in. They were extremely quick to start doing testing immediately and find the cause of his sudden illness. Did I mention I was also a crying mess during all of this and sweet lady at the front desk gave me tissues. They go absolutely above and beyond for you and your pet. They explain to you exactly what’s going on, and give you to best recommendation for a treatment plan. Also, shockingly affordable. I will now use Beltway Animal Hospital for all of our pets! Thank you again, for everything you guys do and the amazing services you provide! I’m extremely weird about my animals care, and what vets they are seen by. I couldn’t have found better vet, and I highly highly recommend this facility to anyone needing veterinary care. Much love!
Experiencia negativa: This is strictly for the grooming service. I have now tried to have my puppy groomed with her twice. First time I had an appointment I drove almost 30 minutes to get there just to be told groomer had an emergency and wouldn't be in, yet no one contacted me before hand and they didn't call to try and reschedule for about 2 weeks. I decided to give her one last shot and had appointment scheduled for today with a drop off time of 7-9 am. I arrived at 9:01 and the groomer refused to see us. Never again will I step foot in there for grooming service!! Let me say that the vet services are amazing

My wife found him in a bad way late in the day and after calling several vets who had no time for us, I tried Beltway. They told me to bring him right in. They Were compassionate and caring. The Vet-Jane, vet tech, and office staff were super knowledgeable, helpful, and compassionate in meeting my needs in caring for my fur baby! The prices are the best, very reasonable! Experiencia negativa: Came in with a stray cat that was mauled and they wouldn’t take it. Don’t work at an animal hospital if you don’t care about animals. I’m glad you replied to my review but the fact remains. The two animal hospitals they referred me to would not take the cat. In addition, I saw you sitting out back when I arrived. I feel the need to mention I am a 50 year old African American man. My Caucasian wife returned less than an hour later and you took the cat without question. Be very careful when responding to reviews.
Good morning. I spoke with the staff from yesterday and was given the explanation they gave you. When you came in with the injured cat, you were told there were no veterinarians on the premises to evaluate the injured animal, and you were referred to the closest veterinarian.
Update: I'm sorry the other clinics would not assist you. Again, a veterinarian was NOT on duty when you came in with the animal. When your wife came in, there were two veterinarians back from lunch and that was the reason the cat was taken in.
As for the injured cat, she is doing very well. If you can ask your neighbors if they are missing a sweet cat, we are looking for her owners. She is eager to go home as opposed to being sent to a shelter

Experiencia negativa: The reason I'm giving 2 starts is just because today I took my pet to get his nails trimmed, I have been loyal to them for quite some time and Never had anything bad to say except today.....as I walk in with my dog and my son, there was a few people on the front counter so I decided to sit and wait the lady with RED HAIR that was there saw me sit down and address me like this I'm assuming you found THAT dog?? In my head I was like what??? I decided to contain my self And ignore how rude and disrespectful she was ....I'm Hispanic and I was in my Cracker barrel uniform because I had just finished my shift, why do people assume ...just because I'm Hispanic and I can not own a French Bulldog.
Experiencia fantástica: Took my new baby in for his first appointment. I've been coming here since 2012 and they've always treated my fur babies with nothing but care. Was a little hesitant about coming in after just being here in December having to put my other baby to sleep but they were still very caring and compasionate and extremely happy to see me starting a new love story with my new love.

Experiencia fantástica: I was new to this animal hospital after being with a vet for over 20 years. It was very hard for me to switch but we had been unhappy with the vet took over the practice of our old vet and had to make a move. I have a German Shepherd that is very nervous from the trauma she received from the vet took over. She had never been muzzled never had to be muzzled, and they labeled her as a vicious dog. She is the sweetest, kindest German Shepherd, and no way deserve the treatment she received. and after explaining this to beltway, they were so gentle with her, and totally understood what it would take to make her feel comfortable. If you want a caring vet that listens to you this is the vet for you. They spayed my German Shepherd removed a baby tooth and trimmed her toenails along with all of her shots. We will be returning. Thank you so much Beltway animal Hospital for making our Luna feel loved.
Experiencia fantástica: I have raised puppies to the rainbow bridge. Our new puppy, 8 weeks old, has already been there twice. He is fearless and so feisty! The nurses and vets are so gentle and calm. Very informative! Prices are pretty good, too.❤️❤️
Experiencia negativa: Sent my dog there for boarding this past weekend. He came back home with an ear infection. All they can say is, it’s probably something in the yard when taking my dog out. My dog has been in my yard plenty of times, my moms yard and my main boarding vet (was booked at the time). He has never came back with an ear infection. I will never take my dog there again. They should be the ones covering this bill. I will definitely be checking on that. This doesn’t make sense and wasn’t my fault. On top of that i paid money only to have to pay more.

Experiencia fantástica: Beltway has always been one of my go to places. Good vets, nice people, and not scared of what people would call more aggressive breeds. Never had a problem with them. Been going here for over 20 years.
Experiencia fantástica: I've taken my daughter's 8yo pure bred German Shepherd here twice. The dog is in bad shape due to a skin infection. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The doctor took special care of our sweet pet. She explained the diagnosis and medications perfectly. Our furry family member is doing much better. Thank you
Experiencia positiva: This was my first visit. I recently bought a new home on the West end and needed a new vet for our baby. I made an 0930 appointment. I arrived at 0915. The lady across from me said she had a 1000 appointment. She was called back at 940. I sat on a hard uncomfortable bench until 1022, almost an hour past my appointment. No explanation was ever given. In fact, they never even spoke to me during the wait. Finally, we were called back. They were super nice. I was in the back for the exam for about 10 mins. Overall, they seem a bit unorganized. I won't need to return for a year, hopefully. So I am not sure. My first impressions, really not impressed. But they were very nice people.
Experiencia fantástica: I needed a good vet after a bad experience at a strip mall vet. Bad mistake. So I tried Beltway as I had been here years ago with another pet. What a difference!! Like a family atmosphere. The Dr. and techs that took care of my fur baby were amazing. I honestly brought her here expecting to hear she needed to be put down. Quite the opposite. They were upbeat and positive and took care of her. Explaining everything along the way. This will be my girl’s veterinarian going forward. Very happy with the choice.
Experiencia negativa: I want to start off by saying that up until this recent visit this had been my vet of choice. We started going here when there was still restrictions so I had never went inside. They always came and got my dog from my car and took her inside and then came and brought her back to me and communicated all the notes from her visit, took my form of payment, and brought back my receipt. My husband is military and we'd recently been doing a lot of back and forth so I haven't taken my dog in for awhile. We recently,very unexpectedly, got another dog. So I called and made an appointment to bring them both in. I get there today with my two dogs and my four year old. I'm a little overwhelmed because I have three vs me. My daughter is walking in front of me and opened the first door we see, again the only time we've ever been there they came and got my dog so this is also the only door I've ever seen them use. I didn't realize that was the exit door. When our new dog saw there was a dog at the exit he started barking. The lady at the check out desk comes around the counter and immediately very aggressively starts telling me how I'm at the wrong door. I try to back up with the two dogs while also getting my daughter to come out. We find the right door and walk in. Our new dog ,very vocal dachshund, starts whining and barking again. I go to tell the receptionist I'm there to check in and she cuts me off and says "last name?" with so much attitude. I tell her and she says okay. We sit down but again my dog is a little loud. I'm overwhelmed and I didn't know if I should wait outside or stay inside where they would just call my name. As I'm looking down and talking to our new dog I hear "can you just go wait outside?" I look up to see the receptionist talking to me. "He's really loud and we can't hear." And I said yeah of course. I stand up and I try to rally everyone out the door and I'm struggling trying to get my daughter to walk in front of me. The receptionist just watch me struggle with looks on their faces like I'm really inconveniencing them. As I'm just about to get out I said I'm probably going to just wait in the car and she responds "even better". She asks what I drive and by this point I'm so overwhelmed and embarrassed I can't even remember my car. I finally get "red ford" out of my mouth. A lady sitting there gets up to help me because again I am struggling and I go outside. I call my husband from the car and immediately break down. I'm embarrassed that our dog was such an inconvenience to everyone around us, I'm embarrassed, and I was really treated very poorly. A younger gentleman came outside to get us for our appointment but by this time I was upset and I told him I would like to cancel it. I explained what happened, and also I was not going to walk back in and cause an even bigger scene. He was honestly so nice and he is the example of all the other experiences I've had there. Sweet and caring, and honestly if I knew that's what I was walking into every single time I could still come here. But the thought of walking back in and dealing with those two women who were just rude made me decide I wouldn't be returning. He listened to everything I said and printed my dog and cat's previous records for me and even apologized for my experience. I apologized for him having to hear me being upset and that was that. I thought about not writing this review until I went and read the reviews and noticed someone else had an experience with rude receptionist as well not so long ago. I decided to also speak my truth as a heads up to anyone else, or as validation to anyone who's also experienced this because for a second I completely blamed myself for having my dog there who was loud. For HAVING MY DOG IN A VET OFFICE. I ,for a second ,thought it was my fault that TWO people were completely rude and humiliating towards me because my dog was not a perfectly trained dog while in a vet office. I can't say enough times how nice the gentleman who came out was. Just not the receptionist.

I will always bring my animals here because I know they will be well cared for and treated very well. The Price is Right as well. If you are looking for a great vet this is the place to go.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband has two new puppies that needed some check-up appointments and a lot of places we called around wouldn't even talk to me because they were not taking new clients at the time. The Beltway staff was so cheerful and nice right away on the phone that I was so relieved that I could make appointments for them. And when I even asked for an estimate on prices she had no problem and gave me one right away.And when we arrived on time for our appointment we didn't have to wait long before we were quickly seen. All of the staff was super friendly ( and I mean of course having two adorable little puppies helps lol) and kind that we would definitely be coming back and making them our permanent vet for our other dogs as well! The prices were definitely one of the best prices I have ever seen at a veterinarian office.
Experiencia fantástica: I wish we would have found them before we did. The whole office is caring and the Drs/vets are amazing here. They really care about your animals. If you have to do treatments at home they take time to show you how to do them and they call to check up on you and your furbaby!they are affordable. Our baby Ariel had to be put to sleep and they let us stay after hours to be with her and cry. All so very caring. Everyone there. We have moved to Georgia and I miss them a ton!!

Experiencia fantástica: We take all 3 of our dogs to Beltway. Prices are okay, vet and staff members absolutely wonderful. Our technician, Shay, was great and had so much patience with our crazy and loud dògs. Dr. Brown is our vet and she is absolutely awesome!!!

Experiencia negativa: I'm going to start off by saying the vets are actually very good. They have taken good care of my dog. I trust the vet. Now the bad, the receptionists are rude and absolutely terrible at customer relations. They don't listen to what you are saying and seem to not know how to do their jobs. It's so sad that such a good vet is plagued but some of the worst receptionists in existence. I would give the vets 10 stars and if there was a negative 10 I'd give that to the receptionists.

Experiencia fantástica: Both times I’ve went they’ve been so nice. Everyone there is patient and kind which is one of the main reasons I will continue to go there. They way they treated my dog was as if it was their own, not just like another “customer“.
Experiencia fantástica: Great Vet office. They do not overcharge and their care is top quality. They are highly experienced with all kinds of breeds of dog and cats. They offer emergency care as well and have weekend hours. This crew is down to earth and not afraid to get in there and take care of your furever friend. I have been a client for over a decade, I have moved three times and have tried vets closer to me but they NEVER compare! I do travel 45 minutes to see them, because of their quality and their cost I will not go anywhere else!
