Experiencia fantástica: I have been taking my pets here since 2013, I love it here I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and they have all been well attended by both Dr. Gibson and Dr. Sammy Gibson. I had to take my 16 year old shitzu yesterday and today because he had a decline in health. And their team were compassionate, understanding and helped me feel at ease. They made my baby feel comfortable and better he is an elderly dog and there's only so much that can be done, they were honest with me gave me options to try and kept searching for a better solution for his well being. Experiencia negativa: DO NOT GO HERE! Found out it’s illegal to not provide proscription for pet and that’s what they do! They are doing illegal things! I even called higher up to get this place exposed but they were the ones that told me in the first place that this place isn’t following the law. Horrible experience. They are very difficult when it comes to “helping” with the online pharmacy. They had canceled my order without ever letting me know leaving my pet without anything for days. Staff has a horrible attitude once they have to go above and beyond. I would say very lazy and unhelpful. Doctor also wasn’t willing to give prescription because it seems he just wants to make a few extra cash instead of helping animals. No urgency when needed and just horrible. I should have read the reviews before ever going to this place. Please please find another vet. I know prices here seem nice but it’s deceiving.

The staff was unhelpful and very rude. For a lack of better words they were bitchy and had cut me off when I was trying to explain things to them. Doctor was unwilling to give prescription that would have helped my cat. Do not come here regardless of prices.

Experiencia negativa: Went to euthanize my elderly dog as his body seemed to just start shutting down out of nowhere. We went, were waiting before they opened, only 2 other people before me. There was no urgency even though they were told he was suffering to the point where he was fading fast in the car and by the time they put us in a room. They still took over 10mins to come into the room, they took him (reluctantly from us) to the back to put in the catheter and brought him back where he died immediately in my arms. My family and I were so upset that he had to suffer because they had no urgency to help. Will NEVER go to that vet clinic again
Experiencia fantástica: This Clinic is phenomenal. They really put care behind every service they offer. The boarding services are just as important as a regular checkup or medical service. The Eastwood team does their very best to make your fur baby(s) feel as comfortable as they can. Giving calls as an update and even waiting on calls to give answers. They spend time with them, when they are away from their home or their humans. It really means a lot to leave the care of my fur family member in the care of others. Truly can’t thank Eastwood Animal Clinic enough for all they do.Thank You

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve taken all of my dogs for over 15 years. The staff has always been very kind and considerate. I’ve moved to a different side of town but still make the commute just because I trust Dr. Gibson so much. I would even drive 30 minutes out of my way if I needed to.
Experiencia fantástica: Brought Angel in for their boarding services and I could tell she loved the crew. She was comfortable since drop off which was a new one for her being such a nervous dog. They are very attentive to your dogs behavior/needs under their care providing extra care options to make their stay more plesant if need be. Definitely recommend their services. Experiencia negativa: Stay far away from this place! I lost two furbabies due to Dr. Sammy Gibson not knowing what he’s doing. This doctor is always over prescribing medications that aren’t even needed, he’s very money hungry. Both times that I had to hospitalize my pets there, they ended up in worse condition in their care than when I initially brought them in. I regrettably hospitalized my soul dog there and that was my biggest mistake, he was there a day and a half and according to the doctor he took a turn for the worse sometime during the 16 hours he was left alone and unsupervised. They have you hospitalize your pet but what they don’t tell you is that your furbabies are alone from 6 pm to 8 am. Anything can happen during that long time frame and there’s no one there to help your pets. Do yourself a favor and take your furbabies to a 24 hr clinic if they’re sick and need to be hospitalized, you’ll literally pay the same amount, only at an emergency clinic they’ll be monitored 24/7. This place needs to be investigated for medical malpractice on animals. The doctor here has a dark spirit don’t let this man come in contact with your pets.

Gibson, are truly genuine and kind with the care of our animals and also us. They never hesitate to give the best care and service. Exceptional experience they provide to our animals. Extremely affordable in the amazing care and services they provide. It would be easy to continue with the praise. Bottom line...it is truly a blessing to have an EXCEPTIONAL Vet clinic to go for our loved ones.

Experiencia negativa: Took my hamster in that was in need of urgent care and was hanging on to life to this vet thinking I would get my animal the help it needs then I get denied help cause I’m not over 18 which is fine while I’m waiting for my parent to get their my animal gets no care at all and his condition worsens, when my parents got there they then took a other 20 m to get me in a room, once I was in room I stayed their for about 45 minutes.My animal then died and I left so please if you care about your pet do not bring them here

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been very patient and kind with the staff here, and have overall had a positive experience but lately after my dog needing routine monthly medication this experience has been beyond frustrating. All I’ve asked for is a written prescription so I can fill it elsewhere which is my legal right under Texas law. Despite being respectful and understanding every time I called and even have been willing to pay in house pharmacy for it, I’ve been repeatedly put on hold, transferred, and ignored. Just today trying to get the in house medication vetmedin. This morning, I was transferred and hung up on twice after waiting about 5 minutes I was told to call back later. Later in the afternoon, I called back again. When I did, I was left on hold for 25 minutes, only to be transferred to the pharmacy and completely forgotten yet again. Under Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners (TBVME) rules, veterinarians are required to provide a written prescription upon request. Refusing or making it unnecessarily difficult is considered unprofessional conduct. I’ll be filing a formal complaint with the TBVME regarding this matter. Pet owners deserve respect, communication, and professionalism not to be dismissed after showing patience and courtesy.
Experiencia negativa: I don’t recommend this place at all. I took my dog to get seen as she randomly grew a mass out of nowhere. She was shaking also in pain. I thought maybe an infection since she was shaking and having a fever. Doctor did his assessment and assumed it could be a mammary tumor based on the lump and blood work. He denied me imaging “ which on the paper they put I denied “ to see if there is a mass. He also denied me any type of medication. I asked maybe something for pain or for an infection. HE REFUSED. I asked 4-5 times eventually the tech came and gave me antibiotics. After going to the vet that same day the lump grew three blisters . Those three blister erupted and a whole bunch of puss came out. Now the lump is gone and she is back to Normal. Yet the wanted to do surgery to remove the tumor ? The blood work didn’t indicate an infection? Puss is white blood cells with bacteria that was infecting her . I called to speak to management to express my concern and honestly she wasn’t very helpful not even sympathetic. “ I was not there “ is what she said. Makes me wonder about all this confusion but I’m glad my fur baby is better and being herself.

I really appreciated their service and love of each of the animals that were brought in while I was there!
Experiencia negativa: Posting for my friend, Henry Berg. I would give zero if possible. My lab was mistreated for 2 days. Not given enough water, exercise, or attention. Picked him up covered in filth and impacted. He's just starting to get back to normal. He's been traumatized and so have I.
Experiencia fantástica: I cannot thank this place enough for being so caring, patient, and loving towards my pet. This was the first time I received care for my pet from this clinic and its staff. The prices are so affordable. Initially another place wanted to charge me over $500.00 to help my pet with a claw that was piercing her skin and caused infection. Along with the removal of the overgrowth nail, drainage of the pus, and medicine I paid less than $180.00. I love that they accept walk-ins and the whole process was done in less than 2 hours. Please do not hesitate to take your puppies/pets here, they are in good care! Will def come back!
Experiencia negativa: I'm really sad to have to write this review as I've been going to this vet for a few years now - they've taken care of both my pets, did a great job on my parents' dog when she needed urgent surgery, and recently spayed our other dog. My dog had been having terrible allergies since June, and I brought him in several times to this vet. Every single time, they said there was nothing wrong with him, despite his never having had a history of allergies. Fine. They kept getting more severe, and this last time I took him, they opted to do an X-ray to make sure everything with his trachea and lungs was fine. In this X-ray, the vet said everything looked fine, but casually mentioned there were "bones in my dog's GI tract. They should move." I was immediately shocked because we're a zero-table food household, and this dog in particular does not get into things. Which, after another vet visit, proved that. I went home, and I was not convinced. I brought him back the next day for blood work - everything was within normal range, and the vet insisted it was "chicken bones." Fine again, as they're the expert. My dog, Jack, began to get extremely lethargic and ill a week later. I decided to take him to another vet because of the previous times being dismissed here. It turns out they WERE NOT "chicken bones" but "stones" in his KIDNEYS, NOT GI TRACT. Jack never got into bones. His condition progressed, and he is now recovering from a terrible UTI, and we're working on dissolving these stones. While yes, it was an accidental finding, the fact that the vet here decided to dismiss it because maybe it was easier really disappoints me. The sad thing is that the X-ray from the new vet looked IDENTICAL to the X-ray from here - they never moved because they were never in the GI Tract. The new vet took the time to explain and show me the kidney, literally circling the "mineralization." For a moment, Jack was very ill, which was concerning. We're feeling hopeful, and he's getting better every day. I'm not saying this place is bad. Still, they're more inclined to dismiss or have this "know everything mentality," especially the older doctor (who initially said they were chicken bones), and sometimes that dismissing can cost a dog's life. I'm glad Jack's okay, but I regret not advocating better for him earlier on. Pet parents, yes, the vet is the expert, but you also know your pet the best. If something feels off, ALWAYS ask or get a second opinion. I'm glad we did.

Experiencia negativa: In 2021, I had the most extremely hard gut wrenching decision to put down my cat of eighteen years. The nurse that I had the misfortune to have working there, was hell bent on doing a "Heart Stick"! I was praying for my beautiful wonderful cat to be put to sleep peacefully. But that nurse was telling me lies, about how she couldn't sedate my cat. I knew right after, that she just wanted to just do that procedure on my cat. She just wanted to, "Teach the others to do that Heart Stick". He'd already been through enough. Then, he already passed, but my cat was still moving. Talk about traumatizing! The nurse was like, "Oh well that is just the body still sending signals." And, I could hear them talking, about how much longer we would be there, because they had taken so long to "Try", to sedate my cat. They wanted to close up. "HEART STICKS ", SHOULD BE BANNED EVERYWHERE! SHAME ON THAT NURSE, IN TAKING ADVANTAGE OF US IN OUR TIME OF GRIEF.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone did their job. My dog's a pooper. She shows up anywhere and drops a steamer. The staff was quick with the cleanup. I've been to other Vets and they always hand me cleaning supplies. Had a quick interview with the Vet afterwards. He was thoughtful and kind and it definitely trickled down to the staff. I'm making this our permanent spot for our dogs.

Experiencia negativa: Dr. Sammy was extremely rude and didn’t do anything except charge for a visit. He didn’t even check my dog at all and didn’t let me ask questions or talk. When he was asked a question he lost his “train of thought” although all he did was aimlessly ramble with not even a diagnosis or anything. He threw a tantrum about it and walked out. Incompetent, uneducated, childish Doctor. Don’t waist your time here. This practice should be ashamed.

Experiencia fantástica: We had a great experience with East Animal Hospital! They took care of both our dogs right away and made sure we had all the medications we needed the same day. What really stood out was how mindful and gentle they were with both of our pets, who have pretty bad anxiety. The staff was patient and understanding, which made a huge difference. They also went above and beyond by offering vaccines like Lepto and others that protect against tick-borne diseases—something we haven’t seen offered at many other clinics. We felt truly cared for, and our dogs are in much better shape because of it. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I'm so grateful for their services. I was referred from Dr. Wentworth's office when my boxer, Daisy ate plastic and was in a scary situation. They were thorough, kind, compassionate and affordable. She needed 3 x-ray's, a barium study, an ultrasound and medication. They were in contact with Dr. Wentworth to give her only the necessary treatment avoiding unnecessary costs. They gave me additional information on my baby girl to keep an eye on and gave her a good prognosis. She's since had a successful bowel movement, been eating well, and is back to her spunky self. I'm very grateful for this team. ♥️
Experiencia fantástica: We had to make an extremely tough decision for our dog Pepper. The staff saw i was battling myself with that decision. They were patient and kind. They offered me assurance I was making the right decision. They gave me time to cry and hold her. Helped me get a lock of her fur. And even told me if I my position they'd do the same thing. In such a hard time having such kind, caring people there giving me the reassurance I needed to know I wasn't being cruel really helped me. I will forever be indebted to them for simply their kindness.

Every dog hospital ask you to bring it a dog. When something common that happens in dogs, they don't know how much is gonna cost. Something common this is more of a scam. A businesses that are doing this just to bring in and money grabbing schemes

I recently took two of my cats for check up which they did amazing and one of them had to get a mass removal by her tail & all the staff was so kind and sweet, they provided me with instructions for home care and follow up appointments as well as how to give my cat her medications. 10/10

Wrong documentation then what I was given! Avoid getting stressed and mad with rude techs. Sad to say Dr is great but staff/techs
Experiencia fantástica: I just want to thank the staff and the amazing Vet, a very friendly older gentleman, who helped my cat Thor feel so much better and for taking us in for an impromptu visit a bit before closing. I know I don’t like being the person coming in close to closing time, but my cat was so lethargic and I was so concerned that I couldn’t wait, it’s been about 3-4 days and my cat is feeling much better thanks to the medication and the quick actions of the staff and vet to help. Experiencia fantástica: I want to personally thank Mr. Gibson and Sam Gibson for everything they have done to help my five German Shepherds maintain a healthy life. Every visit that we have brought my Dogs in for either check-ups, issues or any ailments, the outcome has been in the positive with their guidance and directions as well expertise. The staff is amazing, as well the technicians. I don't have anything negative to say, but only the truth! I put my trust in Eastwood Animal Clinic as a whole. Experiencia negativa: I took my sister’s dog in for a stitch checkup, and after waiting an hour and a half, they finally saw him. Everything was going smoothly until Dr. George Gibson entered the room. He started explaining things, which he kept going in circles, and when I asked a simple question about his recommendation since his explanation was unclear. Instead of addressing my question, he turned to his technician and asked, “Is she slow or something?” I found this comment disrespectful specially since he’s the “professional” one. To avoid further conflict, I chose to leave.
Experiencia negativa: Unwilling to use common sense or proof of identification to accept my sick cat because my wife was not present this time when she has never been present for any pet appointments. Terrible customer service to resolve the issue of nonsensical policies.
Experiencia fantástica: This place is the best. Baby Piggy loves it here. They take such great care of her Aubrey, Daphne, and Bella, are always happy to see her, and she sees them and starts getting excited. Marlon watches her during her stays. I couldn't ask for a better place. I trust them completely with my miniature dauchsand and have since she was eight weeks old.
Experiencia negativa: Today, I just returned a nebulizer for my dog's medicine. I got hit with 3 items missing in the box, I was told. Never knew they were in the box when it was given to us by Jasmine. She showed us to keep it away from her about 2" away. I also got hit with cleaning it. End up paying them 160.00 for returning an item that only cost 1/4 of the amount I paid. Please check and ask of items given to you to take care of your dog or cat. Hopefully, the money i just paid will be used on the items needed Unfortunately, I will be looking for another vet doctor
Experiencia negativa: This vet only cares about money. When I took my dog to get checked they made it a point to discuss how much everything would cost at the beginning instead of what's wrong with my dog. It's kind of sad that money seems to be their main concern over the health of the animals. They also like to diagnose the most expensive issue and rush you to pay it. I would not recommend this vet whatsoever. He lacks compassion and when talking to him, you can tell he is just void of sympathy and care. It's all just business and money to him.
Experiencia negativa: After 3 visits in one month and over $800 later they could not figure out what our dear Yorkie had. She stopped eating and drinking and never got better from the treatments provided. We tried feeding her with a syringe however she kept losing weight, more than half her original weight. Reluctantly and with a heavy heart we put her down. She gave us 13 years of unconditional love and we'll miss her so much.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible and unfortunate experience yet still not a single call from the vet. Thursday December 5 scheduled to drop my pup off before 6:00 which was confirmed with the front desk days prior as well as what services my dog would receive. So on the way to the airport, arrived early at 5:20 p.m. only to find the business was closed. Lights off, nobody home! Called several times only to receive a voicemail. Now I get it, things happen, but do they care about my lost travel, airline tickets, well no why should they seeing how they house live boarded animals unattended. We learned they closed early that day to have an office function. A phone call telling me to come early would have been nice, however glad that didn't happen as my dog would have been left unattended.....terrible way to run a service and still no call back. I know my review won't really change things, they have been in business 50 years!!! But I wouldn't trust them with a goldfish.
Experiencia positiva: Good day, As being a person who has referred many clients to Dr. Gibson from my family and friends has made him alot of money and new patients. I now regret this. Denying a person to transfer a prescription to another pharmacy because your pharmacy pricing is three times higher than internet prices and twice what other vets and pharmacys charge. This is an unethical, predatory practice. Many people are struggling to survive in this economy. And when a person is told if they can't afford the meds they shouldn't have a pet. You don't know the struggles these people are facing. Several of us who have experienced this unethical predatory practice will be bringing this to the attention of the proper organization to report the practice. As a client who has been with your "practice" since the day you opened in the 1970s. If Robert Colvin were still with us you could ask him why he left your practice.
Experiencia negativa: I brought my dog here back in 2020, when they were seeing people in cars, and only bringing your dog in. They really took advantage of that situation. They told me, my dog was going to get kidneys disease, and I had to buy this prescription food but ONLY FROM THEM, no prescription was provided so I can get it cheaper elsewhere. After, that I was able to get my dog back to my regular vet, they didn’t question but they gave me a prescription. Now, fast forward present day, I am going to TLC animal hospital. They have ran several test cause they couldn’t figure out why my dog is pee’ing so much and drinking so much water, and they are not showing any sign of kidney disease. We have switched her food back to a regular diet and now she is back to normal, and after all the test, no issues with her kidneys. Essentially, Eastwood animal clinic was killing my dog cause they wanted my money to keep buying this dog food. On all the Facebook El Paso dog pages, I see nothing but bad things about this place.

Experiencia negativa: I went in on a Sunday with my cat who was acting funny. $400 later I was told it was completely treatable. They gave her subcutaneous fluids, some appetite and enhancers and antibiotics. Nothing changed she was still sick Went back the next day spent more money they gave her more fluids never once did they mention What was really wrong with her Went back a third time only for the doctor to tell me “ You can’t save them all”. No compassion charge me tons of money could’ve told me what was going on in the beginning and saved me three days and possibly save my cat life Instead, I went to another Animal Hospital Where we had to have a tube inserted for her feeding tube and in the end, it was too late, and we ended up losing her, and these people did not care nor treat her fairly or us fairly. Don’t go here if you love your pet pets
Experiencia fantástica: I am extremely happy to say that the vets and the entire staff here are absolutely amazing. I brought my dog in for a heartworm test, thankfully negative, and the vet Dr. George Gibson helped us out with a chest x-ray to make sure my little guy was good to go. I highly recommend you make the trip if your animal isn't feeling well.
Experiencia fantástica: I would like to send a "Thank You" to Dr. Gibson and Eastwood Animal Clinic. Our family made the decision to put to rest our Frida (chihuahua) after a long battle with Cushing's disease. Our normal vet said they would be open until 5pm and we made it right at 5pm and the Vet had left. I called around and Skyla at Eastwood Animal Clinic assured they would be open and could help us during this tough time. Even though it was almost 6pm, closing time, the clinic did not rush us or make us feel in any way that we needed to make our final goodbyes quickly. Dr. Gibson came in to offer his condolences and the tech that assisted us was very kind. Thank you for your kindness during this difficult time.
Experiencia fantástica: Eastwood Animal Clinic saved my dying Chihuahua twice This past Monday I was sure my Lil Cindy was going to pass away because of her heart problems and she was struggling to breathe and her heart was beating very rapidly. However thanks to Dr Gibson and his team my dog is back to her old self and they actually extended the time I have with my little daughter. I understand that my dog is 13 years old and has health issues so I have to be realistic but I am grateful for them giving me more time with her. Experiencia negativa: We brought our fur baby due to being ill. We were told he had pneumonia and instead of getting better he got worse. We took him to a different vet and realized that there was no trace of pneumonia, turned out he had cancer and sadly our baby crossed the rainbow bridge. If you really care about your pets I would definitely not recommend this place. Due to being misdiagnosed our fur baby suffered much more than he had to.

Experiencia fantástica: This clinic is genuinely the best in El Paso, when I found myself hopeless and lost they didn’t hesitate to help me with my best friend Donda. For dog parents one of the main and important things is to have affordable pricing, none of us are prepared for a big expense nor any type of accident with our furry friends and I can tell to whoever is worried about pricing Eastwood is affordable, fast and efficient, the customer service goes above and beyond not only to our pets but also to the pet owners. Both Gibson doctors are AMAZING. 10/10

Experiencia positiva: My family and I have been loyal customers of Eastwood Animal Clinic for over 24 years, and I think the only reason we stay with them is due to not knowing other veterinarians. The prices for most of their routine services/procedures have increased A LOT. However, I don't mind the prices as much as I mind some of their rude receptionists. I've had multiple discussions with one of the young ladies at the front desk, I think her name is Itati, due to her lack of tact and respect to customers. First time was in regards to switching ownership of my dogs back to me in their system (I am active duty Army and left my dogs in my mom's care while I was deployed for 9 months and had to switch ownership to her for my pets to recieve medical care). I had just returned home from a deployment and was trying to get information and was told I couldn't be helped in person and had to do everything online. Also, she refused to address me since my pets were not under my name at the time and demanded that my mother either come in or call the office to request an ownership change. I am sure a lot of their customers are either service members/families and it baffled me that she had an attitude for no reason about it. There have been other instances where she has gotten snappy out of nowhere. I do appreciate Dr. Sammy and Dr. George who have cared for my pets for years, but wish the rest of their team would be as caring for the customers who keep them in business.
Experiencia fantástica: Great service! I needed to get vaccinations for my cat in order to bring her home with me to Hawai'i. These guys did it all, a bit pricey for her health certificate and flea and tick treatment ($130ish for both). However, if your pets are like your babies, then it's totally worth it. This place would definitely be my go-to for my babies if I lived here.
Experiencia negativa: This place is horrible! Poor customer service. The doctor couldn’t answer a single question. I was told to observe my dog at home with a removable mass and when asked what signs (ex. Poor appetite, lack of energy, vomiting) to look for if it progresses or starts making my dog feel sick, he couldn’t answer he kept saying “I wouldn’t be able to tell you” or I need a biopsy. The nurse was passive aggressive and tried to sneak in unnecessary charges that I didn’t approve of or ask for and when asked to take them off when it didn’t even pertain to my pets situation I was given attitude. It’s upsetting and ultimately a horrible place to seek treatment or care for your pet especially when they can’t give you answers to your questions.
Experiencia fantástica: Perhaps a sign in sheet would help keep order of the check ins at the front desk. I have a reactive dog and wait my turn some feet away from the front desk. I was skipped both at check in and then again at pick up. The service is otherwise amazing and compassionate.

Experiencia negativa: We had to put down my dog a few days after leaving her at the Eastwood overnight clinic. We went to them five times since they were familiar with my dog's diabetes case, but we only actually saw the vets two times. The other three times, their techs did the work. They charged us about $1.5K throughout the short course of our encounters, and my dog's health only declined. The most unpleasant encounter was with the vet and owner's son, "Sammy". One of the first things that came out of his mouth was "what's the budget" to run tests. He just wanted to know a number so he could max it out with treatments and tests. My husband was told by a tech that our dog should be left in their overnight clinic for close monitoring. Leaving her was the biggest mistake. I got calls Thursday and Friday morning saying she was doing good and better. But 12 minutes before they closed Friday, a tech called me to tell me her sugar had shot up and they were recommending a 24 hour emergency hospital. Their phone didn't properly work and it was breaking up throughout the entire convo. I was going to pick her up, but the tech told me she had a better chance being with them overnight, so I left her. I immediately regretted telling him that I would leave her, so I called back within a few short minutes. No one answered bc they had closed the clinic already. My evening and night were frantic bc I thought my dog would die there alone. When I picked her up the following morning, she was in worse condition than ever before AND she was dirty with urine. They rushed to give me my dog and didn't seem to want anything else to do with me. I had to ask to speak with a supervisor, and they sent a manager. Not even a vet came to explain to us what had happened. We paid for her treatments and rightfully deserved an explanation about what was happening with her. When I said this to the manager, she just handed me some printed pages with basic information she found on the web. We had already been going to them for weeks at this point. When I took my dog to the emergency room, I told the vet about our experience at Eastwood. The vet looked at the documented treatments she received at Eastwood and shook her head saying it was just bad work. After my dog passed, I looked into public information records. I found out older Gibson has a record with the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners (view photos). I am appalled that people like this work with animals. The vets' apathetic personality at Eastwood leads to them being incompetent people with a license to do this kind of work.
Experiencia negativa: Took 2 dogs for Rabies and Parvo shots. As we waited we saw other people who were there for shots come in and out. 3 other individuals arrived after us and got seen and left before us. When I got up to question the receptionist as to why these other individuals were seen before us I was told " your tech has already been informed about you, she will be out here in a bit". I then proceeded to ask " well can you give me a time frame?" the receptionist responded with a " she will be out here when she is out here". Which I found to be pretty rude.
Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been to many different vets in El Paso but this one is by far my favorite. It’s nice being in a clinic where your pet isn’t just seen as an itemized bill. Affordable and quality care. My dogs aren’t very social whatsoever and even they like coming in to see Dr Sammy. Front and back staff are also wonderful & well educated! If you’re looking to get the best bang for your buck look no further. Wait time is like any other drs/vets office for walk ins. Well worth the care that is given. Keep in mind this is a CLINIC, not a hospital where your pet can be monitored overnight. I’ve had my own dog in for last minute surgery before a holiday where he had to stay over night until the following work day. Surgery was 3x cheaper than other clinics I had been to prior. I received updates first thing before close and right after opening. This wasn’t an issue for me but something to keep in mind for those who want continuous monitoring. Staff is helpful when you call and want to check up on your pet throughout the day.

Experiencia fantástica: I was worried about my pet rabbit when she had a decrease in appetite & change in behavior. I called at 8am and a lovely front desk employee named Yasmine assisted me with a fluctual time to bring her in. Until my rabbit & I were called upon we were met by another kind vet assistant lady named Amanda. She listened to all my concerns to tell the doctor and was kind to my rabbit aswell. The doctor Mr Gibson and Amanda talked me through the medical process, medicine procedure aswell as the financial services. I’m very glad I was able to take my rabbit Sophie to Eastwood Animal Clinic and we sure would recommend it. Thank you !
Experiencia negativa: I've never had to write a review like this. We just lost our dog Jack this morning after having him for almost 14 years. We took him in and he saw Dr. Sammy who basically put us down for over exaggerating our dog's health. We still don't know what made him sick or if he could of been saved had he been given the right medication. He died 15 hours after leaving the clinic who told us that our dog did not look like a dying patient. Money was definitely a big topic of discussion which made us feel that was all they cared about. I didn't care about the money. I cared about my dog. I am heart broken and deeply hurt by his passing. I called the clinic this morning to tell them he passed and I got a "sorry for your loss, I'm pass on the message to Dr. Sammy" I sure wish she could pass along the pain too. He was a gently, kind, loving, and loyal dog that I now feel I let down by not getting him the care he needed. Does anyone care anymore? I can't say if this clinic will help your pet, but I will say that I'm never getting another pet, so I'll never go back there again. I wish these people knew how important our pets are to us! I expected to get another 5-6 years with my Jack, and I'm so sad I didn't get that. I loved him so much and he will be tremendously missed.
Experiencia negativa: Had a horrible experience today, the receptionist are very horrible. They take forever, and they help whoever they want. If they don't want to assist you they tell the other receptionist, if they can assist you pushing you to the side. I've been waiting for hours, and been treated poorly by the receptionist even after patiently waiting for 3 hours for any response. I Was waiting in line after two people once it was my turn the receptionist made me hold a moment, I patiently waited. A lady came in from behind and ask if the receptionist could help her and she said yes I can help you. After I had been patiently waiting to be assisted its basic principles I waited, and she took someone else instead of me. I confronted her and her excuse was that she was already helping her, she wasn't helping her before I came. Which I was like no that wrong, I have been waiting and she was like" okay I'll help you". But still asked the other person to cover me, which was very rude... The brightside of all this situation was a the assistant dragon, he was supportive and he helped me throughout the whole situation. I even talked the manager and she still apologized so I do, appreciate that.

Experiencia fantástica: Kassadi has been so helpful with any inquiry I may have regarding the well being of my pets! She is easy to talk to, as she is very understanding of different lifestyles and possible financial limitations of each pet parent. That being said, she has also taught me so much and has given me alternative perspectives or routes, at times, when it comes to the needs of my pets. I’m thankful that I have a vet tech like her in my pets life, as she’s never steered me or my pets in the wrong way. She’s is so passionate about animals and you can tell through her amazing work ethic. Experiencia fantástica: Great experience here! I brought my two Jack Russels for a checkup and our tech Justine C. was great! She had a great attitude and was very patient when they got a little too excited. She handled both my fur babies with kindess and was very helpful with all my concerns.
Experiencia fantástica: I really loved the care of one of the techs. I think her name was Savannah, but she provided excellent service towards me and pug. She was always checking up on us and making sure we weren’t afraid to ask questions. Would 100% go back just to be taken care of by her again :D

Experiencia fantástica: I LOVE this clinic!!! They always take care of my pups!! They know me personally & all of my animals! Special shoutout to Amanda for today’s visit & Dr. Sammy! We brought in our 3 year old male Weimaraner for some red elevated skin around his private parts & in his armpit. Amanda was AMAZING with our boy! He loved her! In the exam room it was constant kisses & pets! Our boy was even happy to see Dr. Sammy! They understand that pet care is expensive & Dr. Sammy didn’t make us feel bad at all for choosing a less pricey option. We’ve been to places where we feel gaslit at the expense of our dogs, I will ALWAYS choose this clinic as long as we live in El Paso. 10/10 service & 10/10 staff. Thank y’all for always taking care of our 4 dogs, we trust you entirely!

Hazel was practically my service animal but above all my son. It broke my heart having to put him down. Justine was there every step of the process making me feel comforted, ease my guilt for putting him down, and notified me as soon as possible when I could go get him
Experiencia fantástica: Had the best experience here. Kassadi is an amazing tech and was great with my cat. She was so informative and really took her time with him and made sure we understood everything going on with him. Our boy is usually really nervous at the vet but Kassadi was so good with him, it was a really easy appointment and he stayed calm. Will definitely come back here.
